Hello! My company in Dubai decided to relocate me to Riyadh to help implement things in our office there. I have no relatives nor friends in Saudi. Accommodation will be provided but I don't have an idea of the location yet, but probably near Dome International Schools.
Any tips around the area? I am not driving so probably I will just use Uber.
How is the food delivery? Is grocery delivery a thing there too like in UAE?
Any culture difference considering I am coming from Dubai?
Are commodities cheaper there than in Dubai?
Are VoIP apps banned? VPNs?

Imagine someone flying to Dubai on business and needing to have an online meeting with their team back in New York over zoom but its blocked. Imagine flying to Dubai on a holiday and needing to have a zoom meeting with your team of executives back in London but zoom is banned.
How can Dubai call itself a smart city yet ban the one thing that every CEO on earth needs to conduct basic business calls.
Is Dubai going to move into the 21st century and allow VOIP any time soon?

Hi Everyone,
i have an issue we are based in Dubai and we are using ZOOM VoIP with a number from Netherland, the problem is that VoIP calls are blocked by ISP :( so we have to use VPN which also sometimes doesn't work or causes a lag, so is there anyway i can overcome this issue while keeping my Dutch number. like is it possible to link my Dutch number to 3CX system for example and be able to call with the application or something like that.
for Whatsapp and these kinda of apps i understand if they want to block it but for Zoom it's more of a cooperate software.

Is there any way of calling the UAE with a +971 number that isn’t my personal phone? E.g. a VOIP service like cloudtalk.io (but they and others told me I can only receive calls via their UAE virtual number, not make them).
