Steve Rogers has gone back to the 1940’s to live out the remainder of his life with his love, Peggy Carter. The only issue is, Steve already knows how every major event throughout history has played out, but he still has to keep his mouth shut if he wants to keep his timeline in check to progress as it should. We document how he handles the difficulty of experiencing these moments in history without being able to change the outcome. (We make memes about Cap’s time travel hijinks)

2024.05.19 13:42 raj_abhay Ready to ship model taking 18 days to ship.

I had ordered LOQ 15IRX9 i5 13450HX , 3050 from the Lenovo website on 10 May. Before buying it showed ships on 13 so I proceeded to checkout there is showed 17 though I am saving 3000+4500 because of ecoupon and student discount so proceed to payment.
In order status the date of shipment keeps changing first 17 then gone to 27 then 15 then again 17 and now 20. And it's not like l live in non metro city I live in Mumbai. So what's the issue?
The customer support kept lying it will arrive on this or that date but once they said it's not in stock and will be back in stock on 28.🤦🏽‍♂️
And 3-4 days back I checked the same product on their page again they were lying to ship within 4 days. After few days the product was showing ship s on 27 May. And after that day it showed out of stock. And from day before yesterday they have delisted the product from the website.
20 days to deliver a ready to ship model is too much time. I have contacted on all platforms but their customer support is trash. In this whole time I wasn't informed about the delay upfront by mail/SMS/calls. What should I do? This much time is against their own terms and conditions.

2024.05.19 13:41 Beneficial_Log9941 Thunderbird not loading new messages from server

Hi there,
I've been using thunderbird for months now and face a weird problem. I have added like 4-5 Mail Accounts with my custom domain which are hosted at my provider. To download this stuff I use the imap server of the provider and entered all specific details into thunderbird.
Everything worked perfectly for weeks when I noticed that thunderbird didn't download new emails. I noticed it because I added the same emails to my smartphone and the fairmail client did fetch the new mails but thunderbird didn't. The only way to fix this was deleting the mail accounts and adding them back into thunderbird. All the "new" mails got loaded in. I thought this is a one time expierence but this happened quiet a few times in the last 2 months now.
I use different email providers and it properly works on my smartphone. So the problem must be with thunderbird.
I am using thunderbird 115.11.0 (Supernove) on my Win10 desktop machine.
I hope I can fix this somehow because I dont want to delete my mailaccount once a month :(

2024.05.19 13:34 Prasaista Regarding the Weather in June

Hi everyone, I'm planning on visiting Sikkim with my family during mid-June. While planning an itinerary, I glossed through some of the posts here and found several comments saying that it will be difficult to travel around that time due to rain. If so, can someone confirm if it's not viable to visit Sikkim around this time?

2024.05.19 13:34 theres_davey Flash Sheet material recommendations

Hey community,
So I am a part time tattoo artist working alongside some amazing talent in the UK. I am working on a flash sheet to go into the shop as I am pretty hopeless with social media and hoping I can get some exposure as we have high foot fall especially being somewhere that stocks graff paint.
I was wondering if anyone had some paper recommendations and ideal inks they have found work. I am planning to go with some pretty traditional designs. I don't want to go too thick either as recently due to travelling with work I have been using an iPad to sketch ideas, designs and work from. Its saved me carrying more paperwork, pencils and bending things in my luggage. So ideally I'd like to work straight off it and trace my thick lines.
Any advice is also welcome.

2024.05.19 13:31 boyfriendbutts I own the title to my car, now what?

I own the title to my car, now what?
A little under 2 years ago, I was in an accident that totaled my car. The situation is a bit confusing, but I am going to try to describe what happened as best as I can. I live in the city and my daily parking space is on a two way street where each side has extra room for parallel parking. The accident occurred when I was leaving for work one morning. I was maneuvering my car to leave my parallel parking position, when I was hit by a person coming down the same side of the street. They hit my front left wheel causing the axel to snap completely. The person that hit me called 911 and then we proceeded to exchange insurance information. I was issued a ticket at the scene by the police officer and both of our cars were towed to what the officer referred to as the “police impound lot” I reported the accident to my insurance company, however I only have liability insurance, so they did not help cover the cost of the accident. I decided to go to my court date instead of paying the ticket. When I went in front of the judge, they dismissed my case for lack of evidence and I went home without a ticket. During this time almost 2 months had passed and I called the tow lot that the police had towed me to, to try to figure out what was going on with my car. I was told that I had to pay $2000 + to get my car out or it would be getting sold at auction. I did not have the money at the time to pay to get my totaled vehicle out of the tow lot or to fix it. I was also stuck with paying the rest of the loan I had taken out for my car, which was about $6500.
All in all I felt very stuck and had no clue what to do. So, I have just been biking around the city and to and from work for about two years now while the loan was getting paid off. Which, as of this month has been done successfully and I received the title to my totaled car in the mail the other day and…. I just don’t know what to do with it.
I have the title and a paid off loan, but I have no car still and am currently working on saving for a new vehicle. Do I just store the paper away with my documents? Do I shred it? What do it do?…..

2024.05.19 13:31 Outside-Quality-6726 How do you deal with sound and smell?

I was travelling back to Axam for summer holidays after a long time from Hyd, at first it was normal (you know normal these days), but it became a total mess the moment I entered Puri-KYQ Exp. It was so conjusted and smelly I literally fainted, the people were rude, ticketless, occupying reserved seats and dirtying the seats with food. Someone there got angry at me when I complained to TC and started shouting at my face in Bengali, the TC told me to adjust, I was so dizzy and couldn't him anymore, had to sit near the door for fresh air, wash my face and drink a lot of water. But then again the toilet smell. Though the 3/4 crowed got out half way, it was a horrible experience, my whole body stinked like mustard oil for weeks, I don't like that oil at all for its strong smell, had to bath roughly to get rid of it. How to deal with these things? I have to return before the end of the month back to Hyd and don't wanna go through all that again, please help.

2024.05.19 13:30 SaintHomer The Daily Check-In for Sunday, May 19th: Just for today, I am NOT drinking!

We may be anonymous strangers on the internet, but we have one thing in common. We may be a world apart, but we're here together!
Welcome to the 24 hour pledge!
I'm pledging myself to not drinking today, and invite you to do the same.
Maybe you're new to /stopdrinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you're like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you've been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.
It doesn't matter if you're still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, lets not drink alcohol!
This pledge is a statement of intent. Today we don't set out trying not to drink, we make a conscious decision not to drink. It sounds simple, but all of us know it can be hard and sometimes impossible. The group can support and inspire us, yet only one person can decide if we drink today. Give that person the right mindset!
What happens if we can't keep to our pledge? We give up or try again. And since we're here in /stopdrinking, we're not ready to give up.
What this is: A simple thread where we commit to not drinking alcohol for the next 24 hours, posting to show others that they're not alone and making a pledge to ourselves. Anybody can join and participate at any time, you do not have to be a regular at /stopdrinking or have followed the pledges from the beginning.
What this isn't: A good place for a detailed introduction of yourself, directly seek advice or share lengthy stories. You'll get a more personal response in your own thread.
This post goes up at:
  • US - Night/Early Morning
  • Europe - Morning
  • Asia and Australia - Evening/Night
A link to the current Daily Check-In post can always be found near the top of the sidebar.
Friends and fellow travellers,
From time to time there’s a little hickup in the check in. So we’re running late today, but we’ll soon be back on track.
In the meantime, how is your day? Are you looking forward to something? Any worries or gratitude to share? Where I’m at, it’s a clear blue sky and a perfect calm Sunday, we’re off to a sober birthday soon. I’m grateful for sober friends - real life, and every one of you guys.
I will not drink with you today!

🔗Case Logic Era Small Camera Backpack - Gray

https://preview.redd.it/0eoic4pacd1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5eaf3c6d4252cd5d91743a2658c58074c47008d
I recently purchased the Case Logic Era Small Camera Backpack in Gray for my photography adventures. As a traveler, I was in search of a compact and lightweight bag that could safely hold my camera and a few essentials without weighing me down. This backpack perfectly fits the bill with its small size and well-organized compartments.
The padded camera compartment is designed to accommodate any combination of camera and drone equipment, making it incredibly versatile. I appreciate the adjustable, padded shoulder straps that ensure a custom fit for maximum comfort during long shoots. Additionally, the storage area for tablets up to 10.5 inches has been particularly useful as it allows me to carry my iPad for quick editing on-the-go.
One of my favorite features is the easy access to my camera or laptop through the top dual zippers, which saves me time when I need to quickly switch lenses or grab my laptop to review footage. The front pocket provides ample organization and storage for small personal items like my phone, wallet, and keys, adding convenience to my photography sessions.
On the downside, the lack of a water bottle holder or compartment for a tripod might be an inconvenience for some users who prefer having these accessories readily available. Despite this minor shortcoming, the Case Logic Era Small Camera Backpack has truly enhanced my photography experiences, providing a comfortable and efficient way to carry and protect my equipment.

🔗Case Logic Water-Resistant Compact Camera Bag

https://preview.redd.it/23sboz9bcd1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1bc5d01c6d5e0db366a2137f69d00f770bfb2c9b
This little bag does wonders! I purchased the Case Logic DCB-313 for my compact point-and-shoot camera, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. The moment I slipped my camera into the main compartment, I knew it was a secure fit. There's plenty of room in there - enough for a couple of spare batteries, some memory cards, and even a small lens if you're using one. Plus, the front compartment is super convenient for storing those tiny extras like a battery charger or cable.
The exterior is made of sturdy, water-repellent material, which keeps my camera safe from sudden downpours or accidental spills. And the interior lining not only looks great but also prevents any scratches or dings on your camera's surface. It's like a protective little cocoon!
In terms of organization and accessibility, the Case Logic DCB-313 excels. Its simple design may not have as many pockets as some other camera bags, but that's part of its charm. It keeps things uncluttered and easy to find - perfect for those of us who can't be bothered with endless zippers and compartments.
However, one downside is that the belt loop can be a bit too snug for some users. If you're wearing it on your belt, you might need to adjust it multiple times to find the right fit - but once you do, it stays secure and comfortable throughout the day.
Overall, I find the Case Logic DCB-313 to be a perfect companion for my compact camera. It's well-built, stylish, and easy to use, making it a great choice for photographers who want a convenient way to carry their camera without breaking the bank.

🔗Case Logic Slim DSLR Camera Holster - Black

https://preview.redd.it/lcldpugbcd1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=145ecbac19857be4da1b06aa12f4499dde6487ae
As a photography enthusiast, I've seen my fair share of camera cases. But this one, the Case Logic DSLR Camera Holster, has completely changed my game. It's minimalistic design, coupled with high-quality materials and thick padding, truly provides reliable protection for my beloved SLR.
The first time I used it, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to access my camera. The top load entry opens away from my body, allowing me to quickly grab my camera without any hassle. Furthermore, the interior zippered pocket is perfect for storing my SD card, keeping everything organized and safe. And let's not forget the front slip pocket - it's perfect for storing my lens cap so I never misplace it.
But it's not just the features that impress. This holster also excels in terms of portability and convenience. The detachable, adjustable shoulder strap and grab handle make it incredibly easy to carry around, whether I'm on a shoot or just running errands. Plus, the compact size means it fits perfectly in my bag without taking up too much space.
Of course, no product is perfect, and this holster is no exception. While the padding is adequate, it could be thicker to provide more protection. Additionally, the zippers, while functional, could be sturdier to ensure longer-lasting use.
Overall, the Case Logic DSLR Camera Holster has been a game-changer for me. Its capacity, convenience, and portability make it the perfect companion for any avid photographer. The only drawbacks are minor, but they don't detract from the excellent quality and value this case offers. If you're in the market for a new camera case, look no further - this one is a must-have!

🔗Large Case Logic Camera Backpack for DSLR & Drone Equipment

https://preview.redd.it/ff5tcqsbcd1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8595d365e1d1ff1e199985178515e0e16c73a61a

I recently got my hands on the Era Large Camera Backpack, by Case Logic, and I must say, I'm quite impressed. It's a perfect blend of style and functionality, making it a top choice for photographers and drone enthusiasts alike.
One of the standout features is the padded camera compartment, which is large enough to fit any combination of camera and drone equipment. I appreciate how adjustable the internal padding is, offering a customizable fit that keeps my gear secure and organized.
The bag also features padded storage for a tablet or laptop up to 13 inches, making it versatile for both photography and personal use. And don't worry about getting caught in the rain with your valuable gear; the bag comes with a included rain cover that keeps everything protected from the elements.
One thing that sets this bag apart is the easy access top dual zippers. This feature allows you to quickly grab your camera or laptop without having to open the entire bag, which is incredibly handy when you're on the move.
The side pockets are also incredibly versatile, providing secure storage for a water bottle and a tripod, further proving the bag's versatility.
However, one con I've noticed is that the bag can feel a bit tight on the shoulders after extended periods of use, though this may not be an issue for everyone. Overall, the Case Logic Era Large Camera Backpack is a stylish, functional, and durable bag that I'd recommend to any photographer or drone enthusiast.

🔗Stylish modern hide a bed chair" seems to be a simple and direct title for the sleeper chair product, incorporating some desirable characteristics without going overboard. It's short, SEO-friendly and is easily comprehensible to humans.

https://preview.redd.it/yje0t8fccd1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6ec9c97cf169323026c341b1178d1409c0a0b1fc
As a travel blogger, I've tried out numerous camera cases for my beloved compact digital camera. The one that stands out for me - the Case Logic DCB-302 Compact Camera Case. Its tough polyester fabric not only ensures durability but also offers a sleek, professional look. What I love about this case is its spacious interior, which has been thoughtfully designed. There's a removable shoulder strap and even a belt loop, offering multiple carrying options.
However, like any product, there are a few downsides. The newer model isn't as robust as its predecessor, lacking adjustable straps and sturdier zippers. The belt loop could also be narrower for a snugger fit. Despite these cons, this case still makes an excellent storage solution for my camera and its accessories, providing a reliable companion for all my photography adventures. Overall, the Case Logic DCB-302 Compact Camera Case is definitely worth considering for anyone looking for a convenient, secure, and professional-looking camera bag.

🔗Case Logic Compact System Camera Holster for 18-55mm Lens

I found this Case Logic Compact System Camera Day Holster to be quite versatile when it comes to protecting my camera. Not only does it provide a snug fit for my compact system camera with its attached lens, but it also attaches to the camera's strap, ensuring that I never leave the holster behind.
One of the features that stood out was the internal dedicated lens cap pocket. I no longer have to scramble around looking for a lost lens cap when I need to take a shot. Additionally, the slim-line protection has been incredibly useful in turning my everyday bag into a camera bag without adding too much weight or occupying too much space.
However, the holster was a tad too small for my preference, as it struggled to accommodate certain lens combinations. Another downside is that it lacks extra storage compartments for additional camera accessories, making it less than ideal for those with a wide array of camera equipment.
Overall, the Case Logic Compact System Camera Day Holster provides a convenient and secure way to carry your camera while on-the-go. If you're looking for a lightweight solution to keeping your camera safe, this could be the perfect addition to your photography kit.

2024.05.19 13:29 jayjay2597 Moving to germany

Hello, I am 16 living in Dubai and i plan on moving to germany by the time im 19. I want to study medicine there and if it is very suitable, i'll work a job at the hospital. I do have a lot of questions though that might not be answerable with research.
Living in Dubai, I'm very used to luxury, i'm not particularly rich, very middleclass but living in Dubai makes you feel very privileged and it's a blessing. I've never struggled here or had a tough time with anything, the most inconvenience would be traffic in the morning or filing a police report to get a windshield fixed. Genuinely this country is so convenient but obviously there are some downsides like the weather, and other things that you usually wouldn't find on a website doing research when moving here. Stuff you'd only figure out after living somewhere for a really long time, you know?
I also need gender care, and i know thats somewhat available in germany, but I'm not 100% sure about it. If someone could let me know or send links to informed websites that speak in detail about it, i would be very grateful.
I know education is free, but i feel like there's a catch...? i mean How..? could someone explain how that works and if the free universities are worse/better?
I also get stomach bugs whenever I travel abroad, even to my home country and I'm very careful about what i eat and drinking tap water and everything but I've never completed a stay at another country without becoming ill. even if it was a week long. I dont know about germany, i know the cold upsets my stomach, but are stomach bugs and food illnesses also common there? Could someone with the same experience clarify this? How must I handle it then?
Speaking of the cold, how manageable is it? I'm used to temperatures as high as 55 degrees and not much lower than 20 (unless it's december-february, then it might go as low as 12 degrees, but never ever further than that.) The average temprature throughout the day though is 35-45 from may to october. Even going to egypt, where temperatures are not much different is too much to handle. I know here every possible indoor place is air conditioned, and i guess heaters exist in cold places but i've never experienced cold weather or knew how people handle it, so can someone give me some insight? I know it's a weird ask but i genuinely wouldn't know.
I also would like to know about making friends, obviously i'll be older so how are people in their 20's? are they very sociable or very serious? what do you guys do for fun? How interested are people in making friends and being kind? I know people in Dubai are kind but making friends is very hard especially when you're an adult. I assume it would be harder to NOT make friends while i'm at Uni but from what I'm used to here... i'm not even going to my school prom because of how rude some people are, people here are honestly not very united in a way. Friend groups keep to themselves and rarely speak to anyone other than their close circles. So really how interested are young people in germany in making new friends and meeting new people?
Is gossiping big amongst young people? Here, people love to talk sh!t and joke about each other and i admit i do it often too but it gets exhausting being around people who dont know any better than to snicker about everyone else, I'm hoping people are a little more kind in germany..?
What about appliances and furniture and basic things needed for living, are those cheap? like fridges, microwaves, beds, etc. I obviously won't need the top appliances or best brands.
One last thing, how convenient is living there? like getting legal processes done, moving into an apartment, changing documents or visa renewals etc, are they quick or do they take several days?
I am honestly really excited to go, and i hope i'm able to. I've been thinking about medschool and germany since I was 13-14 and I just love the idea, my parents also love Germany since my dad lived there for a few years for work. They are not against the idea and i'm just very excited to go, I do yearn for some change after living in the UAE for 16 and a half years but it is soooo terrifying and I've never ever lived abroad before. My parents are scared that I can't do it and won't handle living alone so i guess i just wanna know what to prepare for. And aside from the questions i asked, what else do i need to know before going? I know i need to learn the language and basic terms like please and thank you, in order to not disrespect anyone, but what else is like a basic experience that every citizen goes through, that is unique to germany only? or european countries in general?
Any help or information would be soo appreciated thank you all.

2024.05.19 13:28 Worldly_Feed1733 Am I an incel?

I (19m) recently broke up with my gf (18f). It started 3 years ago right after covid; I fell first and it felt like she fell harder. She had an abusive household and had a lot of problems regarding academics, friends and family. She struggled academically so I helped her with every part of it, teaching her everything so that she passed the tests, sometimes doing her homework for her. She had basically no friends so I told her that she always had me. She clinged onto me and would get jealous whenever I talked to any of my friends so she isolated me from all my friends but my best friend. Her father used to hit her so I learned how to fight. I hated every part of it but I did it so that someday, if need be , I could protect her. After highschool, we decided to go overseas to pursue our future. She had pretty bad english so I gave my all and somehow made her pass the IELTS. But due to issues with visa and all that, we had to be in two seperate countries. I went first, she went after, and now we were in our own different countries leading our own different lives. Both of us were struggling but we helped each other with all we could. She had a good job but her academics were slipping. So I told her to just handle her job and her life and that I would handle her academics. I struggled a lot with this; handling a 20 hour job with a 19 credit hour semester and a whole different course alltogether was pretty difficult. Sometimes I'd go a couple days without food cause I had that little time. However, being able to talk to her kept me going. I believed with all my heart that we would, after a couple years, have our own little family. I did notice certain things that changed abiut her; I wanted to go to the gym but she would prohibit me cause she had a thing with skinny guys but recently she kept pointing out that I was too skinny and had no triceps, which, to me atleast was very weird and hurtful but I didnt think much of it, she also never used to talk about money but she started obsessing over getting a new iphone and would get mad at me for not being able to afford her one. I told her to pay in installments which we could alternate every month but for some reasonshe declined. One day, after a pretty grueling day at work, dealing with my abusive boss and not being able to register for one of my most important classes, I was planning to go home and talk to her. But she was offline. I then just started randomly scrolling through instagram reels when I got a text from an unknown account telling me he wants to talk to me about her. He asks me why I have been hiding from him. Confused as to who this individual is and what he means by me "hiding" from him, I question further. He asks me if Im my gfs bff. I tell him im his boyfriend and ask him wtf he means by me hiding. He then proceeds to ask me why ive been blocking him on my socials. I didnt even know the guy, but my gf had my socials too. After an awkward minute, he sends me several pictures of them kissing and on the bed together. At this point I'm questioning if it is photoshopped. Then he sends me a recording of ny gfs voice calling his name out in a seductive manner. "Photos can be faked right? But voices?" He said. I then questioned her and she talked about how he blackmailed her with their photos. So I asked an explanation for how the photos were there in the first place and why I had no knowledge of this blackmail prior to this. After not getting one, I blocked her and everything related to her. Deleted everything that would make me want to go back. But recently, while checking my gmail, I found out that she sent regular mails with how and what she was doing and apologized in it. I blocked her mail too but felt a crippling sense of guilt and regret.
I talked to my bff about this. He laughed and said that I won and how she regrets it now. I don't understand how I won. I lost the moment she cheated. Idc if she regrets it, it makes it even more tragic, and even more hurtful to see the one you love in pain. I still cant bring myself to hate her. On an emotional level, I want to go back. Intellectually, Ik it is wrong. Am I an incel?

2024.05.19 13:28 BleuAlexandria The taxi cab light theory is absolutely true

Everything is a matter of timing and proximity for the man. Nothing to do with the woman being ideal or transforming him overnight. He feels infatuated and is all of a sudden so “sure” she’s the one because he’s just at a phase in his life where HE feels ready. Nothing more nothing less.
The whole thing has not so much to do with the woman or how gorgeous and lovely she is, or how much he loves her or she “changed” him as a person, but EVERYTHING to do with HIM feeling READY to settle down (in that particular year, in that particular phase in his life, in his finances, achieved goals, travels, in his overall vibe/readiness). So in that sense, it’s all a matter of timing and proximity for the man, it’s HIM feeling ready, not necessarily because she’s something special. And what makes her the "right one" is appearing in his path when he was ready. He just felt ready and went for that step with whoever came along in his path at the time.
Cuz I’ve seen many instances of this, where a man was dating a truly lovely woman for 6-7 years, loved her, acknowledged how great she is, travelled the world together, met each other’s families, yet he just didn’t feel it in his heart to marry her. They break up, next thing she knows he marries the next random girl he meets within 6 months or so. Can a man be THAT SURE of such step/commitment this soon? Does it mean that someone random he met rocked his world a whole 180 to the point of making him wanna commit? I personally don’t believe in overnight magic/changing (especially if he’s past 25), brain fully developed, cemented.
Just like in S3x and the City, a taxi won’t pick up nobody unless it has its light on. Once the light is on, whoever happens to be standing there at the time, taxi will pick up. Doesn’t have to be the love of your life or the woman you thought you’d end up with, it’s just whoever happened to be standing there when you felt ready/light was on.
Ofc there can be other parameters to consider in this (let's not be monolithic), such as the person’s personality, how suitable you assess them to be for long-term commitment/settling down/family, and maybe overnight magic DOES occur for SOME people 180 (in some rare cases, still I don’t take it as the norm/rule) . Overall I just believe the taxi cab light theory to be hella true.

2024.05.19 13:27 VeganMetalHead78 Visiting for the first time this summer

My family and I are visiting the Netherlands for the first time this summer. We are really excited, as it looks like such a beautiful and fascinating country. My family consists of me - full time wheelchair user, my wife, our two children aged 17 and 11 and our two small dogs.
We will be staying in a village called Tonden, in Gelderland but will be travelling by car and we are happy to travel to visit some interesting places. Please can anyone recommend anywhere to visit that you think we might enjoy?
They obviously need to be wheelchair accessible and would need to allow our dogs to visit with us.
Thank you so much in advance x

2024.05.19 13:23 sidneylopsides Weird slicing for colours

Weird slicing for colours
I've modelled a name tag in Fusion 360, and when I export as OBJ with colour info to slice for AMS printing, slicing doesn't follow the model shape.
The letters are solid objects, a yellow interior and a black outline. They are extruded sketches with no overlap or taper. 2nd photo shows the Fusion view.
Picture one shows how slicing comes out, the yellow spreads out as layers move up until the top layer looks correct. It also "cuts" into the blue top layers (multiple), when the model has the letters sat on top.
What it should look like is a solid yellow letter for 5 layers, with a black outline for 5 layers, all say on top of the top blue layer.
If I try cut the letter shaped into the top of the blue layer to a depth of 0.01mm then paint colours, it works better, but also makes the yellow appear for the top 6 layers of the blue shape, even though the modelled yellow part is less than 1 layer thick.
Doing a single object and just painting by layers, having a thin black and thicker yellow ended up giving similar results to the picture above too, the colour changes don't stick to the correct layers.
Where am I going wrong?

Aslema. We are travelling to Tunisia, this time with our 7 month old, and I am trying to get as prepared as possible before we go. I am trying to find what brand of bottled water is the most suitable for making up formula. It has to have less than 200mg per litre of sodium and sulphate content is not higher than 250mg per litre. Does anyone know what brand fits this? Thank you all.

2024.05.19 13:22 releasepollen Is he lazy or am I expecting too much?

It feels like my boyfriend (27m) neglects important things and it triggers my (23f) childhood trauma, but I don’t know if it’s just my trauma or if he’s actually lazy. We’ve been together 8 years.
We live together and have a hobby farm where I take care of all of the pets. We used to split this responsibility but lately I’ve taken over his part because he was putting stuff off for too long. I realized the animals were drinking dirty water, their pens were dirty, and they sometimes were going up to a day and a half without food because he was “tired” and kept putting stuff off. But imo he would’ve had the energy and time if his screen time wasn’t so high.
He also went all out for Christmas and put up an insane amount of lights just to not take them down. I took what I could down in March and he said he would get the other half, which he did get some earlier this month, but it is now mid May and we still have some up. I feel like it makes us look lazy and trashy to the people driving by and to our neighbors. I would get them myself but I’m scared of heights and don’t want to get on the roof.
He also does not have a vehicle or his license and has been telling me for 3 years that he would get that taken care of but hasn’t made any effort. He also lied to me in the beginning of the relationship and told me he had his license and used to have a car but I found out that was a lie due to him being embarrassed of not having those things. He is able to get to work through walking/biking/public transport and also will have groceries delivered when I don’t feel like driving, so that has never been a problem for us, but it does stress me out that my car takes all of the wear and tear for everything else. And we do a lot of long distance travel.
Lastly, the other big thing that bothers me, when we left apartment living to live on our farm, he said he would take care of all of the yard work and was even excited to. He did great for the first 2 years of us here but now severely neglects it. He will let the grass get super tall and let the weeds grow so now our yard is literally a jungle half the time. His excuse is usually that we ran out of gas for the mower and he refuses to walk 10 minutes to the gas station to refill it because it’s embarrassing for him to walk with a gas can down a busy road. So then I’m forced to drive to refill it.
I work 40hrs a week, take care of all of the animals, and take care of all of the house cleaning. My boyfriend cooks our dinners, takes care of the yard work (sometimes), and works a lot of voluntary overtime, usually around 50+ hours a week. We split rent but he pays for utilities, all of our travel expenses (occasionally gas but mostly our food), and all of our groceries. I take care of the car payment, maintenance, and insurance since the car is mine and I got the car before we were together. All other expenses we have are pretty much divided.
I come from a family of severe neglect, basically like the show hoarders. My parents never took care of anything, so anything in my life that resembles that triggers me horribly. I’ve become the opposite of my family and have extreme ocd about everything being tidy and orderly. I don’t know if I’m being hard on my partner because of this or if I’m being rational.
TLDR; I grew up neglected as a child and don’t know if my expectations for my partner to pitch in with responsibilities are high or if this is a me problem.

2024.05.19 13:22 sunghooter Koschei bomb drone boss kill strat

  1. At least two players in a squad.
  2. Both players bring a recon drone into Al Mazrah equipped in their field upgrade slot. Bring C4 as tactical is optional but quicker.
  3. Both players immediately head to the Taraq Bridge water entrance to Koschei off spawn using the nearest vehicle.
  4. Along the way to Koschei entrance, stop at gas stations least likely to have players and look for scuba masks. Every player should have one at least and ideally, two. Also, trade vehicles as necessary if they're faster or your current one is damaged heavily.
  5. While approaching the entrance underneath the bridge, go in as fast as possible inside the vehicle getting as close as you can for extra cover. Immediately enter the tunnel and initiate the entrance airlock. There are a few loot caches in this tunnel you can quickly check if you feel you have the time to spare. Seconds count.
  6. When spawning into Koschei, immediately head down into the Complex and search for Barracks Key A. Avoid laser tripwires and read the note for the items necessary to unlock the Shopkeeper's buy station. Look for these items, a liquor bottle, and Barracks Key B along the way to the secret path entrance and unlock it. Disarm the laser tripwire traps in the area with the first bots you come across and stow the C4 if you don't have any to use later.
  7. Once both keys unlock the path, you have immediate access to the buy station with several areas you can look for loot along the way as well as the rest of the Complex. Once all items for Shopkeeper's buy station are found, dead drop each of them into the Shopkeeper's dead drop to unlock the special buy station.
  8. Any player that has a recon drone and C4 equipped or stowed in their bag can now barter using the Shopkeeper's buy station for a bomb drone kill streak. Barter for at least two bomb drones minimum but preferably three. One for each boss (the Rhino and Sniper) and a spare in case of mistakes.
  9. Proceed to the boss area where the Rhino spawns using the Alternate Exit key path but stop right before entering the large room he'll be inside. Deploy bomb drone #1 and fly it over to the Rhino using an approach that gives it the most cover from being shot down by the Rhino, Sniper, and any bots. He is easily identifiable by his riot shield and distinct helmet so get it as close to his head as possible and detonate the bomb. If you get a large amount of XP after, it worked and he's dead. If unsuccessful, try finishing him off using conventional gunfire before using a second drone. The Rhino gets surrounded by bots and is hard to kill so use spare drones on him because the Sniper is easier to handle. Proceed to Sniper spawn area after Rhino is dead.
  10. Once the Rhino dies some doors open up with a stairwell to access the Sniper spawn area and you're likely being swarmed by bots at this time. Take cover in the stairwell landing and use any remaining bomb drones on the Sniper who looks similar to regular bots but is stands out with the sniper rifle he uses with a bright lens lint. Once again, fly it as close to his head as possible while avoiding any bots shooting it down as best as you can. You'll get another large amount of XP if it worked and both bosses are dead.
  11. Pay special attention to the laser tripwires in this area as you approach the Sniper's body. There are multiple tripwires close together and can be spotted easily using NVG's. Keep some space between each teammate to prevent accidentally triggering a trap and downing two or more teammates.
  12. There will be a key dropped by the Sniper near his body to pick up that unlocks a door to a room with multiple loot containers, various high-tier loot, and the Koschei Complex Weapons case.
This completes the Koschei Boss kill 12-step bomb-drone strategy. This strategy can be done solo by a savvy enough Koschei player using a secure backpack, already possessing a bomb drone prior to the match, or a little luck finding a second recon drone. Soloing this strat though requires some skill and moving fast since you have to unlock the Shopkeeper's Buy station to complete the barters and some items may only be found in the Alpha Cluster which requires jumper cables and a car battery. This also requires a level of familiarity with Koschei to move around it without wasted time looking in wrong places for the areas and items needed to complete it.
Alternatively to the barter strat, players can also travel around Al Mazrah's buy stations searching for any that sell bomb drones. However, the buy stations have random killstreaks and traveling around Al Mazrah too much may lead you into trouble. You'll also need a large enough amount of cash to buy them which may get your squad hunted by particularly sweaty players.

2024.05.19 13:20 Hyperboleiskillingus Speeding ticket in the mail?

I'm a newcomer to Canada from the US. I got a speeding ticket in the mail last week. It just says I was speeding on March 4, 2024. This seems very odd to me. There is no more information other than speeding, the date and the street name.
In the US we have automated tickets but there is a LOT more information like how fast you were going over, exactly where you were speeding, the time of day and there is a photo. When my husband parked in the wrong place outside our child's school we got a ticket in the mail and it included photos and all the of details, time, exact location etc.
This thing I got in the mail doesn't look legit to me. It's months after the fact and has so little information. I'm inclined to just pay it but now I'm wondering if this is just the norm here. Like a typical American I assume everything is a scam.
