I have a stupid problem and cant seem to find the answer online so thought I would give it a shot here, just in case anyone has encountered and solved this before.
I am trying to use a timber jig with my husqvarna 445 e-series. Problem is I am supposed to use the clutch plate bolts to attach it to the jig but Husqvarna now have these toolless chain tensioners and so my model doesnt have any bolts! Can the toolless clutch plate be replaced with a normal bolts one? It doesnt seem to have any threaded holes so I might just be out of luck.
I feel like this is unnecessary innovation just for the sake of it ultimately making things harder than they need to be. Rant over

Hello all! I was hoping to hear from anyone that has worked with Aviva, or had any information on how they are to work for.
I am currently working in a relatively low stress office manager role, but with little options for progression. I currently work Monday-Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-3pm. This is suitable for me as I have a 3 year old in creche. My boss is very lenient, and has often let me work from home if my daughter is sick etc.
An underwriter apprenticeship with Aviva popped up in my town and I applied out of curiosity. I made it through the first two rounds and have my third (I believe final) round tomorrow. I couldn't really find too much information online about working with them, bar the stuff they advertise themselves - which isn't much to go off.
What I really want to know is the work/life balance, salary expectation and in a general idea - how stressful a position such as this would be. I understand I would be taking a cut in salary in the beginning at least, but I would also be gaining an APA, CIP and a Bachelor's in Insurance Practice. As a 30 year old with not much education behind me, this is something I would be proud of completing.
Would I be mad to give up the cushier option I have now? Assuming I am even offered the position. I live very rurally where it would be unlikely to find the same cushiness & pay again.
I like the thoughts of upskilling and having more of a career than a job, but ultimately my child, and actually being able to pay my bills are my priority.

I watched all of them, and here are the key takeaways and use cases we all should know. 👍🏻

What is it? Give GPT-4o a view of the math problem you’re working on, or the objects you want to learn the language translation of, and it can teach you like no other tool can.
Why should you care? Imagine when you can hook up GPT-4o to something like the Meta Rayban glasses: then you can always have it teach you about whatever you are looking at. That can be a math problem, an object you want translated, a painting you want the history of, or a product that you want get the reviews of online. This single feature alone has incredibly many use-cases!

• can this be how “walled” AIs can work together in the future? example: Meta’s AI would only have access to facebook’s data, while Google’s AI would only have access to google’s - will the two AIs be able interact in a similar fashion to the demo, albeit behind-the-scenes?

• one provides the Pros (the Optimist), the other gives the Cons (the Pessimist)?
• maybe Disney can even give a future experience where you can talk to Joy and Sadness from the movie Inside Out? - that would be interesting!
