M249 pmi

I was chosen as the saw gunner for my medic platoon recently (for context, i am a medic) and I have an est tomorrow with a company where I dont know anybody, followed by a range day next week. I've held an m249 once in basic training, never fired, never disasembled, never learned how to clear, etc. For whatever reason it seems like its hard to find clear and concise materials about pmi and what the range is gonna look like, or even the correct way to shoot accurately with the weapon (something I would have learned way earlier if I wasnt a medic). I was just wondering if any experts could give me some tips, I've been stressing about my primary weapon suddenly switching from an m17 to one I've barely even touched.

What's going on fellas. Got tasked with instructing an M4 and possibly an M249 PMI on 0630 Monday morning. I am out with family this weekend but I'll have Sunday afternoon to whip something together . I was wondering if any one had a saved PowerPoint they could shoot over or maybe any tips? This will be paper targets and not pop ups. Thanks alot and cheers from Iraq!
