  2. Canyon Aeroad CF SL 8 => aero frame with ultegra, DT Swiss Arc 1600, continental Grand Prix 5000 tires, all for 4050
  3. Custom Specialized Allez Sprint => local bike shop will make it with a specialized saddle, roval integrated handlebastem, Shimano 105 mechanic, sworks turbo tires, roval C38 (used), all for around 4450

Hey everyone, there was an incident which took out my front wheel on my bike it was a He’d Flanders C2+ off a Raleigh merit 3 and unfortunately I need to replace it.
I’m wondering about a couple wheelsets since I can’t get just a replacement wheel that matches
Looking at:
Dt swiss P1800 32mm spline disc
Dt Swiss p1800 23mm spline disc
Dt Swiss E/P 1600 disc
Fulcrum 4 DB disc
Magic kysrium S disc
Are any better than the other? And are the Dt Swiss 350 hubs that much better than the 370s
They’re all within a decent price difference that it’s not a big deal. And all similar ish weights(basically within the weight of my cellphone. Difference). Any opinions would be appreciated
I’m leaning towards the Dt 1600s because of the cost of the hubs alone. But I’m open to suggestions

However, I have difficulties in finding a suitable wheelset with microspline technology. I am looking reliable allow wheels, preferably under 700 euros. I was planning to buy either DT Swiss GR 1600 or the ER series, but GR seems to be sold out everywhere, and it appears ER is not sold with microspline. Any ideas or recommendations?

2024.05.13 03:23 3Hooha First road trip complete, my thoughts on first 1600 miles of ownership. Fantastic.

I want to take the time to write this post about new ownership experiences so far of an R1S and completing my first true road trip with 3 little kids in car seats, my wife, and the car packed to the brim.
First off, I have been very fortunate I guess as I have had no issues with ordering, taking delivery, and performance. The car so far has been everything I ever wanted coming from a Model Y. I needed the 3rd row and this thing delivers. I am incredibly happy with everything so far, and there is so much space for all of my wife's our crap!
I took delivery 3/30. I didn't have much contact with a guide but the pick up in Mahwah, NJ seemed flawless and with no issues. Got my plates a few weeks later and the Rivian Lease paperwork probably a little too close for comfort (a few days before it was due) but was able to quickly make an account with Chase and set up auto payment so good to go there.
As for most of the driving its been work/kid stuff around my area but this week we completed our first true road trip heading from the very top of NJ to northern VA/DC. Overall the car is fantastic to drive. Here are some thoughts including some not so great ones.
Highway Assist is fantastic. I personally think it is better than Autopilot. The ability to change lanes and not have to set it up again works so well. The warnings about upcoming lane merges, construction, and prodding you to take the wheel before it becomes an issue all seem well integrated. On top of that, the fact I don't have to constantly "nudge" or push a button to prove I'm still paying attention is great as that drove me crazy with my Model Y Autopilot.
In terms of charging, the RAN that was available at Newark, DE and Belcamp, MD both were great. Clean sites, easily accessible, and fast charging. I hit the Belcamp one on the way down to DC and the Newark, DE one on the way up. Both times getting over 200 kwh during the mid portion of the battery charge. Very easy plug and play.
The car is very comfortable to drive and 5-6 hours in the car did not take much of a toll on me. My wife felt the same. Kids are kids in their car seats so they don't know any better.
Now briefly on to the not so good. The navigation is not great. I hope they continue to improve upon it because some of the routes in the city are suboptimal and when you miss a turn, it can sometimes take way to long to recalculate. I'm not sure if Mapbox is the way to go moving forward, so I really wish there will be Google maps/Waze integration into the UI in the future if possible. I think navigation was the weakest point but I still used it as I want it to send data to Rivian/Mapbox and hopefully add to it getting better.
TLDR: First road trip successful in the R1S. The car is incredible. No issues in first 1600 miles from the very beginning to current, so if you are thinking about it and hesitating due to the negative posts you see pop up here don't! For every bad experience there are probably 100 owners out there living the dream.

Right off the top I just want to say Incott GHERO is by far Incott 's most impressive gaming mouse, I was genuinely surprised how good the quality & performance is considering how affordable it is.
Shape -
The shape was probably my favorite part of the mouse, the non-aggressive ergonomic shape is really comfortable to game for hours on end without having any hand fatigue. It's not a complete clone of any other mouse but it reminds me of a combination of the Vaxee NP01 & Vaxee NP01S, I actually prefer the Incott GHERO more!
Build Quality -
The build quality is extremely impressive.. There's absolutely no flex or creaking, feels very solid and is weight balanced very well. Click implementation on my unit is insane good, very crispy/snappy and has virtually no pre/post travel. The side buttons are very solid too. Scroll wheel uses my favorite encoder, the rubber wheel is very grippy, and the scroll wheel button is decent although I really wish they used a lighter button.
Performance -
Playing Valorant, CS2, Apex & Destiny 2 I was playing great and Aimlabs I broke multiple records. I tested using 4K-8K polling and 1600 DP (keep in mind you need to buy the 8K dongle separately for $12.99)I. I feel extremely locked in using relax claw grip w/ a 20x11 hand size
Conclusion -
I HIGHLY recommend trying out the Incott GHERO, for the price it's a steal.. I genuinely like it more than my Vaxee NP01 & NP01S.

Went to look at a CLE 300 just to see. It has the Tonka leather ( $ 1600 ) , Driver assistance package ( $ 1950 ) , night package ( $200 ) , AMG line package ( $3000 ) , pinnacle trim ( $3000 ), Reear airbags ( $700 ) , heated / cooled seats ( $450 ) , AMG wheels ( $1150 ) , wheel lock bolts ( $160 ) , chrome door inserts ( $100 ), all season mats ( $175).
The MSRP was $69,780, and I talked the dealer down to $64,500.
I was wondering if this is worth it at this price ? I still hate it's a 4 cylinder engine for 60k, but it drove nimble. I was contemplating getting a BMW because you can get more performance for the cheaper, but I really was impressed by this car. I've never owned a Mercedes before.
I know this car will depreciate fast, especially since it's a base model. So I was just wondering.

THE BEGINNING: The Corcel is a medium-sized automobile produced by Ford in Brazil, from 1968 to 1986. THE FORD DEL REY: The Del Rey was a Ford luxury sedan launched in the early 1980s and discontinued ten years later, having been replaced by the Versailles. It is a medium sedan, with three well-defined volumes, a choice of two or four doors and robust engines. The model was derived from the Corcel and in its line there was also the station wagon version, called Del Rey Scala and the Pampa pickup truck.
·BEFORE LAUNCH: Ford had a big problem to face in the late 1970s. With the new decade, Ford began to remodel its cars with modern designs coming from North America so as not to lose sales to more modern models. As the market was in crisis, it was not possible to invest well in a new model, an option taken in the 1970s when they brought the Ford Maverick to the American market, an option revealed to be wrong later, as the initial project was to bring the Ford Taunus. The solution was to call for the creation of a new model, but with an existing platform on the national market. The options were to create a car based on the four-door Maverick, increasing its rear space, which was the model's biggest problem, or to create a product based on the Corcel II platform, launched two years earlier.

Anti Seize Lubricant is a must have for any mechanics garage. There are many different types and colors. Let’s talk about them some more. The primary function of anti seize is to keep nuts and bolts from seizing and also prevent galling.
Generally the all purpose aluminum anti seize (pictured in the middle gray bottle) is the cheapest and most common one. It’s primarily for things like skid plate bolts, and things like splines on CV Axles going into the hub. I also primarily use it for wheel spacers too. Really it can be used on about anything as long as it doesn’t get past 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. It is the most readily available.
Next is copper anti seize which is commonly used on things like spark plugs and exhaust studs and can be used anywhere as long as the metal won’t have a copper reaction. It protects up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit . It is more expensive than the basic silver stuff and not as widely available at most parts stores. The only parts store in my area that has it is Napa. I also buy it at the parts department of a big rig truck place.
Next, is Nickel Anti Seize which is the most expensive and least available anti seize. You would use it anywhere so it’s really a universal anti seize. It protects up to 2400 degrees Fahrenheit. Ford specs that anti seize for their spark plugs on the 4.6 and 5.4 Triton engines with the spark plug issue. For the small tube I paid $10 which is more than the plain silver anti seize costed by itself. For the big one I paid over $30 for. Nickel is a precious metal so it’s very expensive.
Hopefully this post helps people get a better understanding. I know I posted about it a few years ago but wanted to do an updated post. Whenever you use this stuff you’ll probably have it all over you afterwards no matter how much or how little you use LOL.

And pretty much talked myself into getting a Polo GTI from a point of view of practicality and the kind of performance I wanted but then read a story last weekend how VW badges are being stolen in the UK at the minute & given how modern VWs are built, that has a £1600 price tag (as front sensors are on the badge) and can even disable the car at points. In short I don't need the liability so I am back looking around again.
Think I could get this to work as a Daily Driver (even though I'm more like a once or twice weekly at the minute).
Main concerns 1) Potholes + damage to the tires from that. I take that there's some kind of economy or comfort setting that I could use for the majority of my daily driving that would take some of the edge/risk off of this (and soften things like the suspension up)? In all honesty as a lot of my driving is in and around towns I can see I could use that for 85 to 90% of my driving & then Sport or N when I'm either or nicer roads or get a traffic light grand prix opportunity? Frankly I just want more than 120 bhp in my life and this seems like a nice car to go with that as well.
2) Can I get a spare tire/donut space saver with this as I'm not a huge fan of run flats or the gunk they give you for tire repairs? I saw the boot was way bigger than I thought so I'm figuring there's a wheel well there for one (under the floor?).
3) What's the deal with some of the used examples I've seen being on Pirelli P0's? Thought it was a Michelin Pilot/Pilot Sport 4/5 car?
4) Also have noticed a lot e.g. out of the 55 I've found used only 6 are with main dealers - is there something about Hyundai I'd need to know?
5) What's the economy on this thing? Am guessing everything is somewhere between 35-45 (or maybe a bit better if you are in economy with everything knocked off e.g. how much does that back the power off or is it like turning back the throttle response and not the power?).
6) The only other real thing for me is parts & servicing. With it not being built for the EU market any more - do we have any idea how EU cars would be covered? Are there common parts with other Hyundai models? Also I take it you could just service at any Hyundai garage initially? It doesn't have to be tied to the one where you bought it? What's the reliability like as well? I have no idea of the general state of the reliability of Hyundai cars in fairness? I got the impression its good?
