[EVENT] Saab, Hallandia Racing Leagues

2019.04.21 10:21 d3vilsfire [EVENT] Saab, Hallandia Racing Leagues

November 6th
In order to further promote their brand similar to what Red Bull has been notorious for in the past and currently, Saab and Hallandia have begun talks of increasing their brand recognition with the development of several new racing leagues. This will see further development and research by Saab and Hallandia to field racing vehicles capable of competing in these leagues. This includes Formula, Sports Car, Rallying, Touring, and Truck racing.
The idea is that there are several race tracks around the world currently not in use due to various reasons. Instead of letting these tracks go to complete waste, there maybe strong entertainment in new racing leagues. These leagues will be treated as amateur leagues that will employ unemployed drivers, or young drivers looking to rise up in the ranks. This would help give experience to young drivers, and keep older drivers in the game. It would also help significantly increase the brand recognition for Saab and Hallandia while also increasing automotive developments for both companies.

The number of approvals we receive will dictate how many races we will have. We are aiming for between 21 and 25.
In addition, we invite other manufacturers and sponsors to make a team entry into each race type. Each team must enter 2 cars for each race. Unless there is foreign interest, Saab and Hallandia will be providing almost all the teams and all the racing vehicles.
At the moment here are the concept cars for the races: Saab Formula S, Saab GT Racing, Saab Touring Car Championship, Hallandia Truck Championship.
Teams have not been formed yet until there has been sufficient time to gather interest.
This concept will take 3 years to fully flush out once given approval, and for the cars to be fully developed. All HQs will be located in South Africa, between Johannesburg and Pretoria.
