Hello everyone, the access to my LinkedIn and my girlfriend's accounts have been restricted for "prevention".
No policy violations occurred and neither account has been hacked.
Moving to another country and changing the password like any normal person does are the only things we did. I even activated a 2 factors authentication.
Now they say that our accounts are locked "temporarely" for "prevention" and that the only way to unlock them is to submit to a third-party company our government issued IDs and we have no intention to submit very personal data to a third-party company which LinkedIn doesn't even take accountability for, nor I'm going to a notary to fix a mistake made by LinkedIn.
We did not receive any email by LinkedIn sharing with us of what was happening, on what ground they are taking such measures, and how long will the block persist if we don't want to proceed with their method.
The only thing we managed to get from them is basically a blackmail, since they are giving us no other choices than the two aforementioned (I remember that I have my phone number with 2 factors authentication activated, so it should be pretty easy confirming my identity) and they are not even paying for notary expanses needed by an action violating their own terms and the user policy.
All of this without a number to call and talking by mail or twitter with an help center which seems (if it's not already) AI.
Please, help me regain access to my account or to contact a proper human being.
I am even considering the intervention of my lawyer...

 | This was a few years ago. But…I had this guy scam me for an event ticket. It was only $8.50. When he stopped responding on FB (and after Paypal was zero help), I went ahead and purposely tried logging into the account several times, until it was locked out (had his email from sending the payment). I decided to send him an email too and kept it vague (“I locked you out of your account, good luck asshole.”). Well, he ends up responding. He thought I hacked his account and did something special to take it over. He was begging me to let him back in. I basically said “refund my money now or you won’t get back in.” He actually did. Sent me my money back along with the screenshot I attached. And the beauty of it? Has anyone had any success with getting out of Facebook advertising jail? My business account was hacked last year. The hackers used my ad account and payment methods to fund their inappropriate spam. Facebook eventually addressed it but my advertising has been shut down ever since. I have appealed this multiple times. It seems Facebook has no customer support and it is just AI giving automated responses that it has been corrected, yet my account is still disabled. Any thoughts on what I can try to address this? It was my primary advertising stream.

I genuinely cannot tell if this person is interested in me. They’ll get into a conversation with me in person and they start touching me like, arm, wrist, shoulder and laugh a lot at the things I say, even if it isn’t that funny. I managed to make it on her Instagram spam account which is me and one of my friends, (and she has like 2 of her friends on there). Part of me feels like this is just her personality and she does this to everyone but I can’t tell. She’ll respond to my stories and then start a small conversation but then, sent for 3 days. Next day she’ll start talking to me in person and stuff, but they don’t respond on text or anything. I’m not even asking questions on there it’s just little comments about miscellaneous things. They put songs on their note (Instagram) and statements, ie; one day when I was walking by she jolted my wrist and made me talk to her. Later she put a note on her Instagram and the lyrics talked about “I’ll remember touching your arm and the way you make me feel” sum sh like that. I feel like she is more reserved and I don’t try to talk to her as much because of this, and I’m worried she won’t like me or will feel weirded out if she figures out. I’m so confused please advice sorry for writing long. (This is high school)

2024.05.19 03:17 crispzucc Wii U freezes a few minutes after boot. How to recover NAND?
Hi there, so I am familiar with the issue of certain Wii U models using hynex chips failing as of recently. I bought this Wii U a couple years ago, and it worked great until I turned it on after a few months of not using it. Back then, the issue I had was it would boot up and freeze at the signing in to Nintendo Network screen. Researched the issue a bit but just ended up storing it away. This was probably a year or so ago and I am just now taking another look. I'd transferred my account and everything to another console, so it bypasses the login screen now. I can get to the app menu and it will stay on for a few minutes and freeze. I've been researching fixes for this issue but I had a few questions since I am new to it. From what it sounds like, freezing on boot is a failed emmc. To restore the NAND using a backup it must be hacked obviously, and to "replace" it altogether with a micro SD card, it apparently needs to be hacked for this as well. I am trying to find a hard mod method or a temporary fix even in order to get this thing working again. Will the raspberry pi method work so I can homebrew it and dump the NAND/restore it? Or is there a hard mod method that does not require any hacking? Any advice is appreciated 🙏🏻.

my account was hacked today, and to depop’s credit, they were able to get my account back extremely quickly. before they did this tho, they went through all of my orders from the past few days, and refunded every single one (even those that had already shipped. so now i’m stuck where i’ve already sent those buyers their items, but depop has refunded their payment so I will receive nothing. I understand why the first instinct would be to refund all orders, but doesn’t it seem weird that they wouldn’t ask me first if they had been made before the account was compromised?? Because of this shitshow I stand to be out like 200$ in product and shipping fees :(. any thoughts on how I can get my money back?

Her phone storage was full, when I looked at WHAT was taking up the space, it was far and away in Messages. At least 20 an hour, for months and months at a time, all with the same WinRed or other kook pot junk URL’s asking for money and outrageous hyperbolic headlines. She gave up on blocking the numbers, it makes no difference.
But they ALL parrot the same junk headlines, incessantly. She says she wishes they would stop but just puts up with it.. doesnt seem to think twice about the motivation behind these messages, and is convinced that the same thing is happening to left-leaning people.
Thankfully she hasnt gone full Q but I see her posting shit about chemtrails and the like now, so some kind of an algorithm is having an effect on my otherwise goodhearted and well educated mother.
I cant believe this degree of spam is allowed, but then again the people legislating these laws are ALSO the types who wouldnt be able to reset their email passwords without help so I guess it just continues. Im about to try and convince her to give up the number she’s had for 20 years and start over, at least to stem this flow of crap. Maybe I’ll “hack” her FB and delete it since I know the password from helping her with it so many times anyway, shhh nobody tell her

I had my YouTube account hacked about a year ago. I noticed all the "big" content creators for kids such as "unspeakable" to "ishowspeed" videos and accounts being liked and subscribed to by my personal account without me noticing. Goes to show you how not actually big they really are. After days of trying to figure out the problem. I noticed my son's roblox account on his own phone was the way they were hacking my google account. Which should be impossible since the roblox account has no information on my Google account's password. This lead me to believe YouTube developers are doing this intentionally to let these content creators to boost their accounts using black hat techniques.
After a year or two, I am flabbergasted to run into the same issue that I know millions have faced yet it's still not fixed! My account yet again is filled with likes and subscriptions to terrible "kids" channels! There is still no good information on the Google search engine as if people haven't posted about it over and over again. It's funny how these hackers do not care about any payment info or other goodies, they just want my account to sub to channels and like videos! Literally, no way of a cessing my accounts other than YouTube allowing it!
What a scam. YouTube 100% has a hand in this shameful act and should be exposed for it.

Watch out I just got hacked by someone or even the company itself and coinbase has personally blocked my phone number from contacting them after I called them out. They admitted that they are a scamming company and if you lose funds from someone accessing your account they will not do anything to get it back. When you agree to the terms and conditions you are liable for what happens to your account even if you don’t make the trades yourself. A huge lawsuit is coming and get prepared to sell off everything to protect your financial assets.

This just happened to me today and I’m not sure if it’s a test feature as I know they randomly assign different people feature for no reason. But I was scrolling on my reels when I came across a creator I have watched before and the reel was a multi part series so I went to her profile to catch up on the videos I’d missed but as I scrolled back on her profile and after just 9 videos from the creator the rest of the videos showing up were from completely different creators. I even double checked it wasn’t a spam account and clicked on the videos they all have different @‘s and actually those videos end up in my feed when I go back. This seems so stupid as I had to go search the creator and go to her profile with all her videos through the search instead. Why Instagram? Why?
