So I had this problem back last summer after I got them too, but it came back this year so I'm....confused. So I have two pokemon tattoos, one on each wrist. SUPER simple designs. I got them done at a flash sale. You can't expect perfection for 20 dollar tattoos and I totally got them on an impulse because I was sick and tired of thinking "wah my first tattoo has to be SPECHUL or I'm a BAD PERSON" or whatever was going through my brain. And they're a lil wonk, very slight wonk, my gengar has a random like on his knee that wasnt part of the stencil and one of pikachu's eyes is bigger than the other, but thats cool. .... But they are. Itchy. And these aren't the only tattoos I have. But they're the only ones that itch. Ever since I began applying sunscreen regularly to avoid sunburn these two tattoos ITCH. I've tried multiple types of sunscreen too, and frankly new varieties are getting expensive?? But it's only those two. I have a spiderman tattoo that takes up most of my inner forearm with lots of linework and shading and it's not itchy or remotely irritated at all.
But the two I got done by an apprentice artist at a flash sale are itchy. You get what you pay for I guess? I can only assume it's because they're lower quality, or maybe its because the linework is thicker? They itch pretty bad, and it goes away sort of if I ignore it but there's no real relief without itching and when I itch the lines of the tattoo get a little swollen. Not bumpy enough that I can take a picture to show what I mean, my camera sucks, but bumpy enough that I can really feel it.
Is there some reason these tattoos, one of which is less than 2 inches away from a tattoo done by another artist, would be itchy when applying sunscreen while the one done by another artist isnt bothered at all? They're fully healed, it's been well over a year now since I got them. I can't think of any reason why these ones hate sunscreen but the other one is totally fine.
Does anyone else get itchy tattoos when they have to wear sunscreen? Or am I crazy?

I am having a lot of fun with the game, but the constant bugs, crashes, server disconnects, packet loss etc. are making the game experience less than optimal. I understand that Zombies is only a side job for the whole game and that the multiplayer and especially Warzone/Rebirth are way more important to Activision/Microsoft. So I understand that the support for the game is limited, giving that the resources of the studio are already stretched out. Maybe it would help if they would make Zombies a paid DLC. 20-ish DollaEuro and for that, you get a larger dedicated team that actually iron out bugs (looking at you Containment Level), takes better care of the server and develops more content throughout the year. I know that paid DLCs are not everyone's favorite, and that 20 Dollar on top of the costs of the game can be a lot of money for some folks. But the game is currently between a rock and a hard place. They want to offer something for the not so small Zombies community, and they would like to keep gamers in the ecosystem. But they don't have the resources to develop and run the game as it should be. So, could a paid DLC potentially help?

All Might smacks Denki with a wooden plank effectively knocking him out

Izuku starts crying and tells All Might about how scared he was

Bakugo laughs at All Might
"What are you crazy?"
"I'm quite serious Young Bakugo..How's your breathing and your heart rate. Check your heart rate"

Bakugo checks his resting heart rate

All Might dissolves back into skinny form
"You should be dead" All Might articulated
Blood starts dripping from Bakugo arms and old wounds start opening up

Bakugo's heart rate starts rapidly beating as if it were to explode
Bakugo struggles to breathe
He tries to shake the feeling off but ends up splashing his blood all over Deku
Bakugo realises his time is up and flys as far away as he can from the city and people

Tears drop down All Might's face as he hears his protege's demise
Izuku goes home that night upset and gloomy.

Some trivia about this universe:

• In this universe Bakugo is given OFA (at least 2 years before he ends up in UA).
  
• Bakugo is a lot nicer and friendlier to All Might than everyone else (All Might gives up on his relentless quest of finding a quirkless aspiring hero. It's been 20 years so he just gives OFA to the strongest and most dedicated aspiring hero he can find).
  
• Izuku also pulls up to UA (quirkless. He's in the General Education Department).
  
• All Might uses tech from David and Melissa Shield as well as Mei Hatsume and Power Loader [to make up for OFA's declining embers All Might utilises tech to continue his day-to-day hero pursuits. All Might's support gear includes: Electromagnetic Soles (for speed), High Density Capture Nets (neatly compressed and fired from a gun to swiftly capture one's foes), Koete Arm Bracers (a mix between Izuku's Airforce gloves, the mid-gauntlet and the full gauntlet. It's reinforced with iron, tungsten, tantalum, and vanadium. The fingertips of the Arm Bracers are covered with potassium chlorate, sulfur, and nitroglycerin [covered with resin so All Might doesn't accidentally set himself on fire. These coin-like projectiles activate when All Might flicks them at his opponents], The QAD (David Shield's Quirk Amplification device. The prototype was a headset but since then the design has been redeveloped and has been drastically changed to a set of trendy shades), and a Jetpack (to allow All Might to fly without placing further strain on OFA's embers).
  
• Weirdly enough Bakugo has been silently doing hero work for 2 years (He's following Eraserhead's footsteps by avoiding the media).

For context I've always had problems with my mom. I think the best way to describe her would be controlling. She would yell, curse and generally be very explosive, it was hard to know what would “trigger” her. All of this led to me moving out to my bf/his family's house as soon as I turned 18. I cut off all contact with my parents for a few days to calm down and then went in contact with my dad. Long story short we talked it through and established a more healthy relationship. I thought my mom was a bit different too, just nicer overall, and that having distance to her truly helped a lot.
I now work as a substitute teacher, sometimes monday-friday and sometimes only every other day. I visit my parents every now and then but because of work, lack of money and lack of public transportation where I live, I can't visit too often or stay for many days at a time. So I compensate by texting my parents and sending them pictures. This month my mom has not been very responsive to my messages. I didn't think much of it because she does have a bunch of health problems and even had a stroke a few months back, so I assumed that she was just tired. With that in mind I wished her happy Mother's Day twice this week and went to visit last Monday with a mother's day gift (20 dollar chocolate box). She seemed happy about it. The next morning I said that I would have to head home in the evening because I had work the next day. I think this is what set her off. She told me “well you don't care about us anyway. I decided to test you this month by ignoring your messages to see if you would care. But you only seem to care when you need something”. This was insane for me to hear. Looking back at our messages this month and there was only “how's it going “ messages from me, a few pictures I sent from work and some volunteer work I do, the happy mother's Days messages and one message where I briefly mentioned that I needed to be careful with money and save up because me and my bf are moving out soon. In that moment I realized how utterly stupid and manipulative her words and behavior was. She then proceeded to say that I never visit. I explained that I've been working and visiting on my free days and even took this day off to celebrate Mother's Day. It just became a yelling argument, I tried keeping my cool but was getting really worked up and emotional. I ended up saying “wtf do you want from me? Do you realize how manipulative you are? you're such an asshole”. I went outside crying to cool down. When I went back in to gather my things, my dad was “scolding” my mom for always making me cry when I visited. It made me think back and realize that this was true and that I in fact had often ended up crying or arguing with my mom over something she initiated. I just left and texted my dad later to apologize for all the yelling and thank him for standing up for me.
So was I the asshole?

So REBIRTHs Soundtrack is officially out and I‘m very happy. But do you know what will make me even happier? The Official Soundtrack Plus (or OST Plus for short)!
For those who don’t know. When REMAKE released, it had an official soundtrack released a couple of months after the game did. And then, come Christmas, a second official OST was released named OST plus and it contained everything they didn’t manage to put on the first OST.
Now some people might say "You need to buy 2 OSTs which together (if you want the CDs) cost over $100 dollars just to have the complete soundtrack? Wow! Square-Enix is at it once again overpricing everything they can.“
But REBIRTHs (and REMAKEs) first Soundtrack is already amazing and a good value! It has around 180 (or 210 if you bought the special edition) high quality pieces of music. It is a testament to REBIRTHs soundtrack that there is so much good music that isn’t on the first OST.
And I’m not talking about the Bow Wow Song. The tranquil, recorder version of the main theme that you hear on the cruise ship on your way to Costa Del Sol? Not on the first OST. The stealthy cool song you here as you escape Kalm through the tunnel? Not on the first OST. Cait Siths theme you here at the gold saucer? Not on the first OST.
The Music of the REMAKE trilogy so far has been absolutely incredible. And I can‘t wait until REBIRTHs OST plus releases so that I can listen to every piece of it!

I’m a junior in high school, female, looking to apply to USAFA and USMA to be Class of 2029. I feel pretty good about my application, and will be going to all three Summer Seminars this Summer, but I’m curious on what else I can add in my last year of high school. Here are my stats:
3.94 UW GPA, 4.33 W (will be 4.5 after this year) have taken maybe 5 honors and 5 APs (Euro, Calc AB, Seminar, Lang, Bio) and will take 5 Sr yr (Stats, Physics, CSP, Gov, Macro) School doesn’t do class rank but I would estimate myself to be top 20-30 out of 470.
35 ACT (34 math, 35 science, 36 english, 36 reading, and 9 writing, took it three times) 1450 SAT (700 math 750 english, took once bc school offered it for free)
By the time I graduate, I’ll have 4 years of varsity swim under my belt and 2 years of water polo. I’m not super good at either though so I don’t do club and haven’t won any league awards. But I can pass the CFA and will train hard for it this Summer. When I was younger up until age 12 I did martial arts for 5 years… but I don’t think that’s relevant anymore.
C/Capt in Civil Air Patrol, joined in 2020 and will be a Squadron Commander at my state encampment this Summer (will be leading 60+ cadets, it’s a big encampment). I will be Cadet Commander of my local squadron during my Senior year and have won two Gold Presidential volunteer service awards from 350+ service hours over 2022 and 2023. I’ll hit C/Maj before I apply to USAFA. I also do CyberPatriot competition, I did 5 years of it and my team made it to Semifinals every year.
I’m in the STEM leadership institute, which is a program at my school, and I’m in Mathletes club, and did Mock Trial for two years, was vice president before I quit to join water polo. I also teach kids from my parent’s country of origin English online for an hour once a week, have been since sophomore year spring.
I was hired as a lifeguard by my city and I’ll start working in a couple months when my paperwork goes through and hopefully I’ll do that until I graduate. Also, this Summer I’m trying to get EMT certified at a course in Texas. Ultimately I want to go into medicine in some capacity, majoring in biology at the Academy so I think this is a good step to take.
I think that’s everything. The biggest reason behind why I want to go into the military is because I’ve always wanted to be a doctor, and I feel like I have a sort of moral obligation to serve and make people’s lives better in any way I can. There’s more, I wrote my Summer Seminar essays about it a little bit.

Solayer, a startup building a product akin to EigenLayer on Solana, opened restaking deposits Thursday afternoon.
The invite-only deposit period was capped at $20 million dollars. Users could natively restake SOL on Solayer, or deposit the liquid staking products mSOL, bSOL, JITOSOL, and INF. With the private access launch, Solayer becomes a horse in the race to build a restaking ecosystem on the Solana blockchain.
Few Solana restaking protocols have gone live, with the exception of Picasso, which runs its own version of Solana restaking.
Perhaps in a testament to the hype surrounding these protocols launching, Solayer hit its $20 million cap within 45 minutes of opening withdrawals, a member of the Solayer core team confirmed to Blockworks. And it’s not just degens placing bets on the new restaking protocol. Solayer is looking to raise $8 million at an $80 million valuation led by Polychain, CoinDesk reported.
Still, little is known about the company. Solayer said the protocol has “been in the works since [the] end of 2023” in a blog post. It called the first deposit period “epoch 0,” and restaked assets will be locked in the protocol until “epoch 3.” A roadmap Solayer posted Wednesday said that a liquid restaking token called sSOL would launch in epoch 6.
A Solayer team member did not say how long each epoch would last but confirmed sSOL being an LRT.
Restaking refers to using the staked tokens securing proof-of-stake blockchains to secure another layer of applications — or essentially staking staked tokens a second time. This extends the security of the blockchain’s base layer and puts idle staked assets to use, creating additional yield opportunities. By distributing security responsibilities across multiple layers, restaking enhances network resilience and maximizes the utility of staked tokens.
Solana is secured by a combination of proof-of-stake and proof-of-history, meaning restaking could be applied to the network.
The concept was pioneered on Ethereum by EigenLayer, which has raised over $150 million in venture funding and secured over $14 billion in total value locked (TVL), according to DeFiLlama.
And now, the concept has made its way to Solana.
“In the coming year, we are excited about and hope to lead the movement of ‘scaling out’ of the Solana base chain,” Solayer wrote in a blog post.
