Rhys fought the urge to cry as the slap resounded loudly. He took a deep breath trying not to cry, he wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of seeing him cry. He looked up to see the director staring down at him pure hatred in his eyes.
Rhys closed his eyes, his mask slipping seamlessly back on. “I’m sorry, Sir,” His voice was cold, unfeeling which only made the director madder. He grabbed a fistful of his hair pulling him up to his feet. To his terror, a whimper escaped him.
“Sorry? If you’re going to be sorry, at least admit it you brat!” The director slapped him, fingers still tangled in the boy’s hair. Lucien began to cry; he tried forcing himself to stop but the tears just wouldn’t stop. He was screaming at himself inside his mind, but nothing was working. “How dare you steal from me!”
He wanted to scream that he didn’t do it! That it wasn’t him! But he knew things would only get worse if he did. So, through his tears he whispered: “I’m sorry.” His cold tone had melted and the only that was left was pure anger. He didn’t mean to say it like that, but he did.
The director let go of his hair and he slumped to his knees. He looked at the rest of the kids who were huddled together in a corner of the room. The one who did this were right behind the director smiling like the witch she was. The director turned to the witch in question.
“Leila, thank you for telling me about this shameful behaviour.” He looked at her with love, pure, undying love and that made his blood boil. What made her so different from the rest of them? Why was she the one who got to be loved while the rest of them were mistreated and abused? It wasn’t fair!
Rhys stood up, wiping his tears from his face. The director turned to him; his gaze completely hardened. “Don’t think I’ll let you get away with this so easily, brat.” Rhys didn’t care anymore, he just wanted to get it over with. “Tomorow, after sun-up, you will receive fifteen slashes as punishment for your thievery. After that, you will be cleaning this entire orphanage for a month.”
Rhys felt his heart stop. He didn’t care about the cleaning, what he did care about was the beating. There had only been a handful of people to get the beating at the orphanage and every one of them had died hours later. He didn’t want to die. He couldn’t die.
The director didn’t wait for a response and left leaving a smirking Leila. “What a shame, Rhys. It seems like you’re going to die tomorrow.” She looked behind her at the quivering children. “I wonder what would happen to them?” She chuckled and walked back to her room.
When she closed the door, all the kids ran to him. “We’re so sorry!” Kieran said. Kieran was the youngest in the orphanage, he was only six years old. Rhys began to cry as he hugged all of them.
“I’m so sorry!” The kids looked at each other confused. What did he have to be sorry for? They were the ones who broke into the director’s office and got him into trouble...
They pulled away. “What are you sorry for, Rhys?” Asked Emma, she was the second oldest and was ten years old. “We’re the ones who got you in to trouble and now... now you’re going to be beaten. And it’s all our fault!” She started crying.
Kyra, one the older kids, who had been standing in a corner watching all of this happened finally spoke. “Rhys, you should go. Run away.” Rhys looked at them confused.
“What? I can’t do that...” He sniffled, looking at the crying kids beside him. “Who will take care of them now? I can’t just leave them.”
“What about you, huh?” Reynold screamed. “Rhys, we have been here longer than you have and we have watched as you took care of everyone but never yourself. You’re going to die and all you can think about is them?!” He marched over to Rhys. “For once in your life-”
Kyra stopped him. “Enough, Ray. It’s also our fault. We never tried to think about them, all we did was bade our time until we could escape. We never thought about them, but Rhys did and now... he’s going to pay for our mistakes.” She turned to the remaining three who hadn’t said anything. “We’re almost adults, are we going to continue acting like petulant children?”
“But...what about the plan?” Sierra whispered.

Everything fell silent except for the sniffling of the children. They all looked at each other, unsure what to do or how to move forward before Finlay spoke, he was the oldest about to turn 18 in two months.
“I agree with Kyra and Reynolds.” He gave Rhys a pitying glance. “We let the kid take care of everyone and everything we never cared about them or how they were doing.” He sighed. “Although, I’m not happy about us abandoning the plan, I know I’ll be even more unhappy if that kid died because of me.”
“So, we’re doing it?” Reynolds asked.
Finlay nodded. “Yes, we’re doing it.” Reynold and Kyra smiled while Rhys seemed distraught.
He looked at the kids. “Hey, you guys go to your room for a bit and I’ll bring you a plate of cookies, okay?” They didn’t want to go but the allure of those sweet, mouth-watering delicacies made them scurry into their shared room. He turned back to the older kids. “What if I don’t want to do it? I’m stronger than the others, I can survive.”
Reynolds opened his mouth about to scream bloody murder, but Kyra spoke instead. “Think about the kids-” Rhys raised an eyebrow, all he ever did was think about the kids. “Do you really think they would be happy seeing you die because of them? The director had no idea how to take care of a baby and he didn’t want to waste money by hiring a maid so, he made a heartless choice. He was going to toss the infant into a nearby stream.
Rhys had no idea about this, but he had decided to follow the director when he left with the screeching infant. When he saw the director about to toss the child into the water he ran forward. The director had turned and out of shock he had dropped the baby. Without hesitating Rhys had jumped in and saved Kieran. Thankfully, Kieran wasn’t harmed. While clutching a coughing Kieran in his arms he begged the director to let him take care of Kieran. The director had accepted but warned Rhys that if he didn’t take adequate care of the boy he would abandon him.
While walking home it dawned on Rhys, if the man could so such cruel things to an infant what would he do to all the others?
“But...” Rhys felt tears pooling in his eyes. “I can’t leave them. They’re everything I have.” Kyra walked up to Reynolds and enveloped him in a hug. Rhys hugged her back and began to sob.
“No, they’re not. You’re only a child, Rhys. You will live a long, happy life if you leave and you will never look back.”
Leila heard everything; they were lucky that the director had opted to get his room sound proofed. She wasn’t going to tell the director, after all, this was all the only way to get Rhys out of this place. She knew Rhys, probably better than he knew himself. They had arrived here on the same day and they grew inseparable until she realized Rhys was a self-sacrificial bastard that would never reach his full potential until she forced him to. So, she began plotting, she would his and everyone else’s hand until he had n choice but to leave. She became the villain, to make sure he wouldn’t.
“You dummy.” She muttered, as the tears began to fall. “I’m such a superb actor aren’t I...?”
She buried her face in her hands and began to cry. She had done everything for him and he hated her. She was never going to be able to see him happy and grow old with a loving wife and tons and tons of children. She looked up at the sky and she began to pray, that never used to happen before. She looked out the window and said: “It’s quiet uptown.”

 | I'm currently writing a fantasy / litPRG novel and have been using ChatGPT in creative ways to help with it. I had some requests on how so instead of replying to everyone individually I figured I'd make a post! I will include screenshots so expect this post to be long! Editing and grammar: This is pretty straightforward. I'll copy and paste sections and ask it to fix the grammar, bolding any changes it makes and striking out any words it removes so I can review the changes. The only issue I've had with this is that if I try to post an entire chapter it'll sometimes pause in its review and ask if I want to continue. Sometimes when it does that it loses sentences or even a paragraph where it broke. Now I just do smaller chunks. It'll explain why it made the changes too, so it's improving my grammar as I go. Character and creature help: This is also pretty straightforward. I already have my main characters written up and I know which ones are coming later, but sometimes I want mooks or neighbors, and other times I need creatures. I'll ask it for more than I need and pick the best ones. Some of the prompts: "Create 5 creatures that you'd find in Wisconsin. There should be a day version and a night version, the night version being tougher and having more attacks. For each come up with 3 offensive and 3 defensive powers. Ignore standard ones like 'and, they, him, etc'" All authors have their favorite words that get repeated way too often. I'll find them and suggest alternate descriptions. It goes beyond just providing new words. "I want to avoid repetitive descriptions. Please review the story and identify any times I've repeated descriptions, turns of phrase, etc. Categorize them into "fight scenes", "Emotional scenes", and "area/scene descriptions" This has been a power prompt for me. TLDR: Despite what many content creators are spouting as of late, Domino doesn't help the odds in the Blink decks.
There's been a lot of pot stirring recently with content creators and high rank players playing Domino in their Blink decks. Some of these folks have erroneously claimed that Domino helps you draw Blink on time or helps keep your high cost cards in your deck to Blink into. I'm going to go into the math to show how Domino is actually worse for these strategies, albeit marginally.

* You'll always play your 2-drop on turn 2. In world with Red Hulk as common place as it is, this is a bonus. This also applies to playing your 1-drop on 1 but the odds increase so marginally that odds are you were doing that anyway.
* Domino has some sweet variants and people love the character. As we get further into the post, you'll see that the statistical difference in playing Domino are minute on either side of the equation. If you want to play her and show off your cool variants/splits by all means.
* Domino doesn't meaningfully keep your high cost cards in your deck to Blink into. She keeps all the cards in your deck more often. Every card in your deck besides Domino has an equal chance at being drawn at every stage of the game. You're just as likely to draw Red Hulk and Magneto as you are to draw your Jubilee and your Blink. So by giving up a draw, at best, it's a wash statistically whether or not you draw your high cost cards or anything else.
* Professor X has a roughly 15% metagame share and passing up Jeff for Domino seems like a huge loss, but that's more personal opinion that actual fact.
In conclusion, Domino is a net negative on the statistics of executing the Blink game plan. However, we are talking very small edges that only really show themselves over hundreds or thousands of games. You're still very likely to win, lose, snap, or retreat the same matches you would have if you played Jeff or White Widow or whatever other proactive card in that slot. But don't let the hype machine make that decision for you.

Cons:
* Domino reduces the odds that you draw what you want from turn 3 onwards. The ELI5 explanation of this is you have more cards in your deck than you have draws in a given game. Therefore, giving up a draw step is more detrimental than guaranteeing a specific card out of your deck. When you play Domino, you're ~3-4% less likely to draw a 3-drop by turn 3, a 4-drop by turn 4, and most crucially Blink by turn 5. And this drawback is cumulative so despite gaining 3-4% on playing a 1-drop on 1, you're hamstringing the rest of your draws over and over again.* Domino doesn't meaningfully keep your high cost cards in your deck to Blink into. She keeps all the cards in your deck more often. Every card in your deck besides Domino has an equal chance at being drawn at every stage of the game. Molly tries to roll one of Shiseido’s suitcases from where it’s parked near the entrance and fails to move it despite pulling with all her strength. Nobody seems to notice. Molly Moppit: “Damn it, I was going to take half of her shit- subtly!” Niagara waves a broad hello. “HELLO NEW YORK! I’m SO glad you’re here, these girls are all WHORES so far.” Niagara goes in for a hug, but Shiseido moves away. “I’m sorry…do I know you?” Shiseido asks, clearly baffled. Lady Gag loudly guffaws. Niagara laughs once, awkwardly. “Oh, yes!” Niagara blushes, pulling away from her failed hug and gesturing wildly with her hands. “I’m Niagara Halls, mama. We worked together at–” “All you young girls blend together for me.” Shiseido shrugs. “Name doesn’t ring a bell.” Molly, laughing under her breath, opens Shiseido’s suitcase while she’s distracted and snatches a blonde curly wig. Molly Moppit: “I don’t get along with Shiseido. But I know this- she has good wigs… and I KNOW that old lady is a smart bitch. Whether or not she actually knows Niagara, she won’t admit it. Throw the girl off. I see you, mama.” “Aha.” Niagara looks put off. “No worries. It was just last year when–” “Hello, children.” Shiseido addresses the group like a troop leader. “I fear you look as bland as expected.” Lady Gag starts up again. “GIRL, this is not–” It’s Drag Time! Chronologica steps into the werkroom, and the gathered contestants gasp in shock–except Ethan, who looks over passively. Ethan Angel-Eye: “Interrupted at 6. So it’s a split premiere…which hasn’t happened since Season 3. Just, of course…of course it would be…” Molly hurriedly closes Shiseido’s suitcase and tucks the stolen wig into her top. Lady Gag, Niagara, and Lokii rush over towards Chronologica excitedly, while Shiseido and Ethan take their time, making eye contact as they do. Hello, racers! Here, you’ll be competing for the chance to win a spectacular crown and scepter from Moxie Maniac jewels, plus an extra-special grand prize of $100,000. Everyone cheers and applauds. One of you could become the next Drag Superstar…orrrr one of the other bitches who shows up next week could snatch the crown away from all of you. This week is your chance to prove your worth before any of those nasty skanks come and get in your way. Lady Gag: “Quite simply, yes. We ALL know Gaga is THE queen. I can guarantee I’ll be the one to get her her crown!” For your very first challenge, you’re putting on a premiere talent show. Show us what YOU can do that no one else can, and show us who you are. First impressions count! And you’d better hope it’s not a countDOWN…good luck! And don’t fuck it up! Shiseido Red: “Believe me, for some of these baby girls? The countdown’s already started.” Shiseido smirks. “I’m prepared for a talent show. I’ve been talented since I was born.” ~ Later, the monarchs strip out of their entrance looks and claim their dressing areas. Shiseido Red: “For this week’s maxi challenge, it’s time for us to showcase our abilities in a talent show. But first, it’s time to get to know each other.” Without a word, Ethan picks up Shiseido’s heavy suitcases and moves them to her preferred corner. “A gentleman.” Shiseido smiles, looking at Ethan’s bandana. “My faceless guardian.” Ethan chuckles. “No. You’re just not my mark today.” “Your mark? Alright. You’re an assassin, of sorts.” Shiseido ponders. “Mhm.” Shiseido Red: “Ethan is giving some sort of Bessie Big Sky-Jupiter Sterling story…but evil? It’s a very specific take, I’ll give him that…I’m at least…curious.” Ethan looks serious. “Assassin. You could say that.” Ethan retrieves his own bags and puts them next to Shiseido’s, just as Lokii enthusiastically hurries up towards the two-person dressing alcove. “Oh, sorry!” Lokii says, chuckling awkwardly. “I would love to uh, room with Shiseido, here, uh, the other girls are kinda mean and–” Ethan looks over, one eyebrow raised. Shiseido makes a face. “Baby. You’re not old enough to be here.” Lokii blanches. “No worries, then.” She scurry off. “...If she bantered back, I’d have had her.” Shiseido responds. “The baby queens can’t take it. No surprise.” Ethan grumbles. Meanwhile, on the other side of the room, Niagara, Molly, and Lady Gag each make for separate adjacent dressing stations. Lokii stands awkwardly in the middle of the room. Lokii: “The producers very clearly told us that we had to share 4 of the dressing rooms, two racers per room. But none of the girls are willing to share with each other… what’s … happening right now? Where am I supposed to go?” Niagara carefully changes out of her blue gown and puts on a comfortable yellow sweatsuit, then starts picking the clips out of her hair one by one. She watches Ethan and Shiseido across the room as Ethan takes off the bandana covering his face for the first time, then lets out the loudest gasp imaginable and throws her arms to the side, shocked. Blue butterfly clips fall to the ground everywhere. Lady Gag gives Niagara a look in between racks of hanging clothes. “Diva, what the FUCK are you doing?” Niagara whispers loudly. “Looooook!!!!” She aggressively points at Ethan, who is currently changing his shirt. Ethan very clearly and visibly has scratchy scruffy facial hair, and no makeup on the bottom half of his face. Niagara looks gagged. “That’s a MAN, Maury!” Niagara Halls: “I didn’t expect him to look like that, out of drag… kinda tracks, THOUGH!” Niagara cackles. Lady Gag yells across the room. “Mister Ethan!” Ethan looks over as he takes off his beaded vest and reveals his bare chest, clearly showcasing obvious top surgery scars. Lady Gag looks back to Niagara. “Queens recognize kings. Are you gagging yet?” “Not on your copy-and-paste eleganza.” Niagara shakes her head, then takes a step and slips on the fallen butterfly clips, awkwardly plopping on her butt. Niagara Halls: “We’ve had many trans divas compete in this competition- me included. But is this the first trans man here?” Niagara ponders. While Niagara has fallen, Molly sneaks in and grabs some more blue clips off the ground. I’m ba-ack! Chronologica waves from the entrance. Lokii returns the wave. Everyone else hurriedly finishes changing. Our producers let me know that we’re having some trouble getting into our dressing stations. We do actually need you to share space, here, now. Lokii: “I kinda was just waiting around- when they came in. I guess I kinda looked.. Awkward.” Lokii exhales. “This is a lot.” Lokii nods. Lady Gag and Niagara roll their eyes. Molly tuts excitedly. Molly Moppit: “I live for this drama, honestly. It’s so stuuupid I love it. I’m gonna make this shit eat up as much time as I can.” “Our space is set, Miss C.” Shiseido says assuredly. Great. So, which one of you three wants to share space with Lokii? “I KNOW you’re not equating Miss GAGA to a Disney gay–” Lady Gag smirks. Niagara shakes her head. “Well, I don’t think our visions are exactly aligned–” Molly winks, looking at the others. “I’m not cut out for sharing…” She says cheekily. Lokii stands awkwardly, a bit embarrassed. Okay, fine. Which two of you want to share with each other? Niagara scoffs. “The impersonator? That raggedy-ass mop bitch? I am not–” Girls. Chronologica looks annoyed. Okay. Let’s be serious. “No, of course, I’d love to work with Lokii in our space.” Molly smiles. Molly Moppit: “I am a playful artist, but I do take this seriously- and I look around, and Lokii looks like a deer in headlights. It’s a competition. But I’ll make her feel welcome. I mean, she’s better then the Gaga impersonator and fucking Niagara Halls.” She takes a sip of her drink. … Molly Moppit: “Can we circle back to Lady Gag as a name? Like be inspired and be an orignator but LADY GAG?! I DON’T GET IT!” She bursts, interrupting herself from finishing her drink. Shiseido and Ethan, who have returned to their corner, give each other a look. Ethan Angel-Eye: “It’s just like the last few seasons. All the kids are incompetent. No surprise.” I’ll leave you to it. Now. I’ll see you on the main stage. Let’s keep it professional, alright? Chronologica departs, and Molly drags her singular small suitcase into Niagara’s dressing station. She drops the bag heavily, and all of the butterfly clips Molly has stolen spill out of it onto the floor. “Where’s my clips?!” Niagara yells. Lokii and Molly look at each other, and Molly giggles. ~ Chronologica goes to visit the racers. Hello, Mr. Angel-Eye. “Chronologica.” Ethan says gruffly. Now, you’re drag family, right?! The other’s ears pick up, as Ethan nods. “Yeah, I used to be related to Bessie Big Sky. But we’re not talking about that, we’re talking about my talent show.” Ethan says, clearly displeased. Shiseido Red: “Oh… Inteeeeerersting.” Shiseido purses her lips. “This makes a lot of sense.” Totally. Well, tell me then, what ARE you doing for the talent show? “I’m from Montana. We’re not basic-ass pageant queens, who haven’t fought for anything a day in their life-“ Niagara’s head turns over to Ethan’s conversation as she has caught interest, clearly offended. Niagara Halls: “Wow.” Niagara is looking in a complete state of shock in her confessional room. “… Alright.” Niagara nods. “…because life’s hard,” Ethan continues. “I was a rez kid, I was in the foster care system, I been through some shit. And I’ve picked up a few skills along the way. So I will be doing a Projectile Weaponry Showcase.” Interesting. What does that entail? “Pistols, throwing knives, bow and arrow, shotgun.” Ethan nods. “I’m a good shot, no matter what I’m shooting.” Fuck yeah. Ethan smiles for a moment, before nodding. I was raised at my local gun club, over in La Perouse, Sydney. I know a good few weapons. How are you going to make it dragged up? “I do it my way. Ethan Angel-Eye is the evil Indian from cowboys and Indians. He’s a vigilante bandit, and these are a bandit’s weapons. I’ve got a story. I know what I do in my performance space- to me, the art stands for itself. I don’t need bells and whistles, because this has never been done before.” If you keep us excited, well that’s all that matters. Ethan nods. “I will.” … Niagara Halls. “Chronologica.” Niagara smiles. Now, you’re a pageant Queen. How is that going to impact you in this competition? “Well, MAMA!” Niagara says excitedly, talking with her hands. “For me, it’s about serving. I’m pretty, I’m gorgeous and I am not scared to CUT a bitch when I want to.” Niagara draws a line across her throat with one hand. Chronologica chuckles. Tell me, what are you doing for the talent show? “Yodeling.” Niagara smiles brightly. …Yodelling? Are you a singer? “NOT at ALL.” Niagara shakes her head. “Like, I’d probably say I am a bad singer.” Then…why are you yodeling? “For me, it’s about standing out. I wanted to deliver something no one has really done, make it camp, and then stun on the runway.” Niagara tongue pops. But do you feel like you are able to do this well? If you’re not a singer- “I feel like it’s an opportunity to showcase what I can do, and make it fun.” Niagara smiles. Okay. Well, good luck… …. Molly Moppit! “Shhh.” Molly whispers, pointing Chronologica to outside. I- “Let’s chat outside; I don’t need them hearing.” Molly whispers, as the two walk to the smoking area outside. The others look confused as the two disappear. “Cigarette?” Molly hands one to Chronologica. Is that from my packet- Okay, tell me, Molly, what’s your talent show? “For me, I do really take my drag seriously.” Molly smiles. “But I don’t need them all to know that, initially.” I get it. So, what are you doing for the talent show? Molly whips out a packet of notes. Chronologica grins. “I’ll be presenting onto the main stage, MOPPING DUTY. It’s a live freestyle Diss Track of the Cast of Season 6.” Molly smirks. “And I’ve got the notes for it.” Why is it called… Mopping Duty? “Because I am about to wash these bitches out and mop the crown, duh.” Molly chuckles. Chronologica bursts into laughter. I think that’s a fantastic idea. “I don’t want them to know what I’m doing, because part of the work here is centered around making them react. I’m great off the cuff- and planned, secretly. So, for me it’s really important to get to embrace all of that.” I am really excited to see how you do it, Molly. Molly grins. “I am too.” Molly Moppit: “I am going to blow these bitches out of the water, they just don’t know it yet.” Molly winks. ~ The next day, the racers twirl into the werkroom and get ready for the talent show. Lady Gag: “It’s time for the talent show, and I’m ready. Are these girls ready? Well, they should be, because… I’m coming for them.” “So, what are you bitches doing for the talent show?” Lady Gag asks, plaiting her hair. “I mean, I know some…” Niagara starts to yodel. Ethan rolls his eyes. Ethan Angel-Eye: “Bitches. Niagara Halls: “Like, BORING…and honestly, I don’t see it for her?!” Niagara laughs. “OH, the shade of ME!” Niagara giggles to herself. “What are you two doing, Molly and Lokii?” Ethan says, surprising the two. “I’m not talking about it.” Molly winks. “You can wait and see.” Ethan purses his lips. “I do wonder if it’s going to be anything of note.” Shiseido says. Shiseido Red: “Molly has a…not-so-great reputation, in New York. I’ll be honest, she’s never been notable to me, though. Beyond the theft jokes.” “Well, you gotta wait and see.” Molly winks. Everyone once again looks around awkwardly. “Well, I’m excited for MY own talent show, because it sounds like I’m winning.” Lady Gag says. “Don’t count your chickens yet, Miss Copypasta.” Ethan responds. Lady Gag rolls her eyes for what appears to be the 10th time. Lokii: “I… don’t think anyone gets me here.” “The cosplay newbie… and the puppets.” Shiseido whispers, shaking her head to Ethan. “The impersonator who does stand-up in her bedroom. The tone-deaf girl singing, and the thief who probably doesn’t even have talents of her own. Great.” Lokii: “But I have crafted an entire concept. I’ve sewn and made these puppets, made a comedic story and saga- and if there’s one thing I do believe in, it’s the lore. It’s my knowledge in the cosplay, nerd space…” Lokii giggles, playing with her puppets. Rules Summary: Our rules boil down to not being an idiot or a bigot. We love to joke around with each other but we do not tolerate hate. No homophobia, sexism, racism or any kind of gender or religious attacks. We are a welcoming place for all people but if you harbour distaste for anyone for just existing as their true self, you don't belong with us.

Who Are The Servants Of Light?
About Us: So, The Servants Of Light (or TSOL [tee-sol] for short) started out as another Destiny 2 clan made to give a few people a way to earn some extra rewards and group up easier. Over the past 5 years we have grown and evolved into so much more. Destiny is, of course, a big part of what we do and who we are, but I think that what makes TSOL special is everything else we get up to. From just talking to each other in the general chat, debating silly things like what counts as a sandwich all the way to all our events. We have fortnightly Game Nights, Movie Nights and a special raid night known as Raid Roulette. We also like to do bigger events throughout the year, the biggest of which is our end of year BONANZA! A huge gameshow style event where we like to dress up all fancy, announce the winners of our community voted awards and challenge you to various themed rounds with a prize on offer. We even have a yearly meetup for those so inclined towards in-person interaction.As for our general focuses for within Destiny, we do a little bit of everything. I would probably say we are a much more PvE leaning clan, we have teams going for clears on contest mode (and may have a space or two open for the next one if you are into that kind of thing and get along with us), we do GM’s and raids every season and aren’t scared off by legend difficulty activities. PvP wise, we have a few guardians who jump into things like trials regularly but for most of us PvP is an ‘as and when’ kind of activity, stacking 6 in iron banner is always fun though.No activity is mandatory and we really just want to play the game we love with people we like, in whatever form that takes. (NOTICE: If Gambit is your favourite gamemode then you will be judged for it but not penalised)The Testimonials

Who Are The Servants Of Light?
About Us: So, The Servants Of Light (or TSOL [tee-sol] for short) started out as another Destiny 2 clan made to give a few people a way to earn some extra rewards and group up easier. Over the past 5 years we have grown and evolved into so much more. Destiny is, of course, a big part of what we do and who we are, but I think that what makes TSOL special is everything else we get up to. From just talking to each other in the general chat, debating silly things like what counts as a sandwich all the way to all our events. We have fortnightly Game Nights, Movie Nights and a special raid night known as Raid Roulette. We also like to do bigger events throughout the year, the biggest of which is our end of year BONANZA! A huge gameshow style event where we like to dress up all fancy, announce the winners of our community voted awards and challenge you to various themed rounds with a prize on offer. We even have a yearly meetup for those so inclined towards in-person interaction.As for our general focuses for within Destiny, we do a little bit of everything. I would probably say we are a much more PvE leaning clan, we have teams going for clears on contest mode (and may have a space or two open for the next one if you are into that kind of thing and get along with us), we do GM’s and raids every season and aren’t scared off by legend difficulty activities. PvP wise, we have a few guardians who jump into things like trials regularly but for most of us PvP is an ‘as and when’ kind of activity, stacking 6 in iron banner is always fun though.No activity is mandatory and we really just want to play the game we love with people we like, in whatever form that takes. How to get involved
Requirements: The only real requirements we have for joining the clan are 1) to use Discord, which is how we communicate with everyone and arrange all our activities. It's also where you can chat to your clanmates and have fun. 2) follow the rules. Everyone wants to know the magic formula for becoming rich. Becoming wealthy is simple, yet it’s not easy.
Most people will have everything they need to become a millionaire but will never become one, not because they’re incompetent or lazy but simply because they’re uneducated.
When you have no knowledge about a system, you tend to either: mistrust it; avoid it; use it incorrectly; or, use it correctly and unwisely. Until you’ve developed the adequate knowledge needed to succeed in any system you will never be a wise agent within that system.
But, let’s get to it. How do I get rich man? I want that chedda*, the cheese, the chips! What’s the secret formula, Krabs?!
There is no secret formula.
The simple answer —however— is homeownership.
For many Americans the quickest and simplest path to becoming rich is through owning their home and the property their home sits on.
You go through some back and forth decisioning and reasoning about whether the move is for you — we’ll just assume you’re moving forward with homeownership.
Now, it’s time to begin assessing your budget. “What can I afford? hmm.”
You begin looking into your finances, realizing you make {x} dollars a year, working {y} hours and your spouse brings in {z}; or your {z} is your friends or if you’re solo, y’know you stop at {y} like a sane person but if you’re planning to get married or live with your significant other, you can go up to {y} — you have our permission.
You then pick a home within your budget, then move in. Boom rich! Just kidding, it’s not quite that simple. So…
To start your journey into homeownership you’ll need to obtain some form of income. Not just any income. So, how much do you need?
You’ll need an income that isolates your mortgage to a little under 30% of your total income. So, if you’re making $2500 monthly, you want your mortgage, HOA, taxes and insurances fees to be under $750 monthly. With a $30k yearly salary your home may be a fixer upper or a diamond in the rough but it’s a start.
That gives you enough wiggle room to afford a $115,000 home, with a $5,000 down payment at a 4.265% interest rate. There are programs that allow you afford more for less and grants but for now, we’ll keep it simple.
The best way to think about the price tag? That’ll be your new minimum net worth, once the home is paid off! The reason we say minimum is because homes tend to appreciate! In some instances that’s roughly about 5% per year but if you’re lucky and you find a diamond in the rough, in a growing neighborhood you could double or triple that value, plus your 5*% appreciation.
If you have a home loan for $115k and your home is now worth $300k because you were lucky enough to pick the right neighborhood; you have 190k in equity (remember your 5k down payment toward your principal); home improvements will increase the value of your home thus, improving your equity; and paying towards your balance will increase your home equity.
If you’re lucky enough before 30 years your home is worth $325k. We’ll let you figure out the rest.
Even if your home only increased to 175k in value, that’s an extra 60k that’s now yours.
If you paid off the house, you’ll always have at least $175-$325k.
Now you’re rich and all you needed to do was own your home.

First of all, I would like to say THANK YOU to all of you that showed so much love to my first post ever in Reddit!
Since my girl Millie got too much hate for wearing white and ruining the best photo of the wedding, I decided to write her sad story and share it with all of you. It's a LONG tale, full of ups and mostly downs (TLDR at the end of the post). Sooo, grab some cookies and popcorn while I spill the tea ;)
******WARNING******** The story features what I believe to be unsettling content (pregnancy loss) for some. It's hidden as spoiler, so please don't click it if it's a sensitive issue for you. <3
Our story starts with poor young adult who shall not be named (because I don't remember her name). God (me) had big plans and challenges for her, as she started with 0 simoleons in an off the grid island, with hopes of her becoming a millionaire. She moved in the big island without money, a place to sleep, a toilet, nothing. The challenge goes like this: raise money from beachcombing, buy a towel to sleep on, buy a bush to pee in, snorkel, plant and build a life from zero. And, under no circumstances communicate with another sim.
This challenge was too difficult. The loneliness and hardships, the struggle to just survive and find food, led this young girl to her death by drowning in the middle of the ocean. It was too soon, so God decided to try this challenge again, giving the new sim a head start.
That leads us to the protagonist of the story, Millie Carson.
Millie Carson is a young adult who moved in the same island, like a castaway. All she found on that island was a towel, some planted trees, a toilet bush and a grave.
The ghost from the grave came often to haunt and tease her and finally became her enemy.
At first, young Millie tried to stay away from other sims but, since they kept coming and visiting, God decided that it was ok for her to have some friends.
Millie's neighbors were Miki and Ali, a happy couple with two babies. They kept visiting and bringing food to their poor young neighbor, since she was struggling so much. Millie grew close with Ali, who came swimming to her island sometimes.
Meanwhile, Millie learned some skills that earned her some money and food. She became really good at fitness, gardening and fishing. Little by little, she earned enough money to buy diving supplies and took up some diving photography and treasure hunting. All those helped her build a tiny wood home which finally had a toilet and a shower and even a fridge. Life was getting better for Millie, until she started having feelings for her married neighbor...
Millie was attracted to Ali: his long blond hair, his green eyes and dark skin. To her surprise, Ali was interested in her as well. She tried to fight it but it was over her own power to resist. They made sweet woohoo and became a couple, while he was still married with two kids.
Love makes you do stupid things and that's what happened to Millie. She fell in love with a married man and, surprise surprise, she got pregnant with his kid.
While on her 1st trimester, she visited her neighbolover's home to tell him the news. His wife, Miki, opened the door and the sight was unbelievable: She was pregnant as well, on her 3rd trimester. Millie chatted with Miki as nothing was wrong and even socialized with her kids for a bit. But it was now time for Ali to learn the truth. Millie pulled him aside and told him everything.
To her surprise, Ali was content with being a parent to their child. Millie felt his support and fell even harder for him, causing her to do the unthinkable: Woohoo with him all over his tiny house while his wife and two kids were inside! They woohood EVERYWHERE: The small single bed, the kitchen sink, the counters, standing... They almost got caught by Miki, but hopefully she was so pregnant that it took her an eternity to reach the woohoo spot.
Millie started thinking about their future. Tormented by her jealousy, she asked Ali about Miki. Miki's super pregnant belly was an indicator that Ali still loves and woohoos with his wife, two-timing both women. To her dismay, Ali confessed his love about Miki, but he was willing to keep his relationship with Millie. But that wasn't enough for Millie...
Without hesitation, Millie served Ali an ultimatum: It's her or Miki. No love triangles, no hiding. Her kid needed a father and she needed support as a poor young woman. All those pregnancy hormones made her unreasonable - she came between a happy couple and now she felt that her lover's wife stole him from her, even though they were already together! The irony!
Millie couldn't get over her feelings, so she invited Miki over and told her EVERYTHING. That she was pregnant. That the father was poor Miki's husband. Miki got even yelled at for sleeping with her own husband. Millie was out of control.
Like a tsunami, a force that couldn't be stopped, Millie called over Ali and told him to break it off with his wife. It was now or never. Ali did as told and suddenly Miki broke down crying, hating life and those two who ruined it.
Eventually, Miki left and the.. happy couple were finally alone. Millie asked Ali to move in and he gladly accepted. He even proposed and they stayed engaged until after their baby girl, Angelique, was born.
Meanwhile, even though Miki was hating them, she still came over with extra food like a good neighbor. But her relations with the couple never improved much.
The happy couple decided to get married. Millie wore a pretty but simple boho white dress, hair down and golden jewelry. But her joyful smile was the prettiest jewel she could wear. It was a lovely, quiet wedding on the seashore, during sunset.
Soon after, Millie got pregnant again but wasn't ready or happy for it. Unfortunately, there were some complications with the pregnancy and baby Donovan was born dead. They buried him under a lemon tree and cried for many seasons about him.
Ali started helping Millie with gardening, fishing and diving. But his dream was to finally earn his degree in Communications. He still had 3 classes to pass and then he could enter the PR world. He soon earned his degree with a low to medium score and was ready to start working. There was a huge problem, though...
The island was off the grid and he could not apply for the job, not use the very much needed internet. A decision had to be made: Should they live on this island forever, living off the land, or they should move somewhere else and follow Millie's dream to become millionaires?
The choice was easy. The couple moved to Finchwick, in a big cottage house with a big garden, front and back. They brought with them the plants they had gardened with so much love and also bought some chickens. Life was good for a while, baby Angelique was growing but woohoo life was... fine.
Ali found a job in PR and had to work all day, even from home. He had to polish his charisma and writing skills and meet new people. So, that made Millie a stay at home mom, a gardener, a housekeeper. But there was no time for her lifestyle needs: outdoor living and working out. She became frustrated and was always in a bad and uncomfortable mood. She had gained a lot of weight from her pregnancy, she hardly recognized herself in the mirror...All this bad mood made her cranky. Everytime Ali tried to woohoo with her, she had no drive. So, their love life went down the drain...
Meanwhile, Ali was doing great at work, earning at least 2000 simoleons per day. He had met many people, and one of them became a really good friend of his. His name was Gabriel and he was thin, with black short hair, dark skin and modern makeup.
Ali was tormented by his feelings when he hang out with Gabriel. He couldn't understand how a man can be attracted to another guy like that. He was open to the idea, but had never acted upon it. It wasn't the looks - Gabriel was pretty basic. But there was something about the both of them that made him feel... amazing. The attention he got from Gabriel, the friendship.. It was like they knew each other from another lifetime.
Every time Gabriel came over, Ali got excited. He was interested in his words and inner world, not only his appearance. One night, he couldn't take it anymore. While they were talking the backyard table, Ali started flirting with Gabriel. Things got heated fast and they shared the most beautiful first kiss. That was exactly what he always wanted to feel, but was missing from his other relationships. He proposed to have woohoo in the home office, while Millie and Angelique were sleeping unaware upstairs...
They woohood hard and many times. It was a total WoohooFest. Morning came and Ali, having not slept at all, got ready to go to work. He didn't forget to kiss his wife goodbye, but he spent the entire day thinking about Gabriel. By night, he had decided to ask Gabriel to become his boyfriend.
Millie on the other side, was getting better. She bought a walking machine and she often went swimming in the river. Her woohoo drive was coming back strong and that meant more time with her beloved husband. They started woohooing more often, but Ali was also missing Gabriel...
God suddenly had an idea! Ali should ask Millie to have expanded woohoo with someone else, and that someone else couldn't be other than (yes, you guessed it) Gabriel. Ali went on and asked his wife and God told her that yes, it would be fun! So, unaware of God and her husband's plans, she happily accepted to engage in multiple sim woohoo...
Ali was so excited! He couldn't believe his ears! He immediately called over Gabriel and explained the situation. Gabriel accepted as well and it was time for Gabriel to meet with Millie. Millie tried to get to know him but for some reason he was distant. She tried to flirt with him but he didn't reciprocate. Millie got embarrassed and locked herself in her room for some time, to recollect herself. It shouldn't be so hard, right?
At the same time, Ali made his move on Gabriel and they woohood. Gabriel was more than excited to get together with Ali. So, why not Millie?
After Millie got over her embarrassment, she came out the room. Ali proposed having multiple woohoo and they did it. Everyone had a pleasant time.
After that, they got together two more times. But, the last time, at Gabriel's house, was the final blow.
Millie kept trying to flirt alone with Gabriel, not getting the message but, DUDE. He was NOT into her. It was heartbreaking. She tried so hard for her husband, her self esteem and again, she was turned down. A second choice. She didn't deserve it. And then, she though about it. The flirt between Ali and Gabriel. How they would have woohoo, the three of them, but Gabriel was rejecting her. It was time for answers...
Millie first told Ali to end the expanded woohoo agreement. It was too much for her. He wasn't happy about it, but he agreed. And then, she asked the million dollar question: "What's going on between you two?". Ali tried to hide it, told her they were only friends. But God was starting to feel bad about poor Millie, so had her ask again: "WHAT'S GOING ON BETWEEN YOU TWO?"
The answer was like a knife, going through her heart. Ali loved Gabriel and that's all she needed to know. Their woohoo life was non existent before and now had found someone who made him feel better, more... alive! That's all Millie needed to know. She went over to Gabriel and try to make a last, desperate woohoo pass at him. Once more, he rejected her. It was all so clear. She was the third wheel.
Her ego and her heart were stomped on the ground, like a cockroach. A beautiful, kind, hard working sim shouldn't go through all that. She headed back home, to the privacy of her bedroom and cried her eyeballs out. Ali didn't come home that night and went straight to work.
The next day, Millie invited Gabriel over. Oooh no, she wouldn't let him have Ali so easily. She would humiliate him first. He came over and she started yelling at him. Her face was red and hot, she was fueled by rage. She ending up giving him the beating of his life. When Ali came home from work, both his lovers were black and blue from fighting.
Baby Angelique started crying. She had woken up. Millie rushed upstairs to help her toddler with her needs, but Ali and Gabriel stayed downstairs. Ali tried to comfort Gabriel, asking him to stay. He didn't care about his marriage anymore. God led them to the hall upstairs, outside the bedrooms. They started woohooing again, right there, like animals!
Poor Millie, as she opened her daughter's bedroom's door, she caught her cheater husband in the act! THE AUDACITY!!! And if it that wasn't enough, when she went over to slap him, he acted like she wasn't there and went to woohoo in the shower with his boyfriend - AGAIN! WTH!!!
At this point, Millie knew it was time to give Ali the boot and kick him the hell out of their home, and so she did. After Ali's lover left, the married couple had a long, heated conversation that only had one outcome - Ali had to move out immediately.
So, he left and rented a one-bedroom apartment in the city. He also decided to ask Gabriel to live with him, and Gabriel happily accepted. A new chapter started for Ali but unresolved things were left in the middle with his wife that needed to be dealt with.
While all these took place, Millie had gotten close with celebrity Rahul Chopra. They became good friends and she was invited to his wedding. It was a one of a kind event because Rahul had a shotgun wedding with his wife when they were teenagers due to unwanted pregnancy. After many kids later, Rahul's eldest daughter, with the villainous valentine aspiration (long story) decided to break her eternally faithful parents up for fun. So they did break up, but they were so made for each other, like puzzle pieces, that it was impossible to not end up together again.
Rahul fell back in love with his wife and they decided to do it right this time. They planned the perfect wedding event in San Myshuno's park, during sunset. The whole family was there and their 2nd child, Philip (YA) would take the professional pictures of the wedding.
The ceremony started, everyone (almost) was seated and the photographer (and me) were preoccupied with taking the happy couples pictures. As the ceremony ended, the couple was ready to share their first kiss as husband and wife. The air was filled with confetti that floated playfully around them, the fireworks were set off behing them and the sun was showering them with the warmest rays. It was a one time opportunity to get the perfect picture. Philip got ready to press click. And then, she appeared.
Millie, clearly bothered and heartbroken by other people's love, made a run for the exit and ruined Philip's perfect photograph. The angry look on her face would forever haunt Philip's mind. Why would that woman ruin this happy moment and why the hell would she wear white at someone's wedding? I mean, you wouldn't mistake her for the bride, who wore an expensive wedding gown, but still... Something was wrong with this girl and Philip had to find out...
After the wedding, Millie went back home. The days passed and the divorce was not finalized. She asked her kid who she wanted to stay with, but without reply. She called Ali over, but he texted back he didn't want to come over. Millie had her -now child- daughter call over her dad. This time, Ali responded positively and soon after he arrived. Millie took him straight to the lawyers to see who will get custody of Angelique.
This time, God had no plans, God left it all to luck. So, unfortunately, Ali won custody of Angelique, who immediately went to live with him. Now, Millie was alone. Only her and her money and her baby son's grave in the front yard. Now she was angry, NOW HE WOULD PAY.
Millie grabbed Ali and went once again to the lawyers. It was now time to split the estate. At least 100k simoleons in the bank, plus whatever the house is worth. Millie wants to get everything, but once again, God won't interfere. She comes back home, head down, beaten - she lost 80k.
She turns to her new friend, Philip. He is basic, but he's a good guy. He lives alone in an apartment in San Myshuno, studies Fine Arts in university, comes from a good family. He also has a girlfriend that lives across the hall from him, but Millie doesn't know. And God tells her to come onto him. Now Philip has two girlfriends and God must interfere.
God and luck are playing games with Millie's life.
As I'm writing her story, there's only one thing I feel: Sad.
This girl started out with hopes and dreams. So I think that we should forgive her for attending a friend's wedding wearing white. Some God forgot to change her formal outfit and it was all she had to wear. She's going through a lot!

Since my girl Millie got too much hate for wearing white and ruining the best photo of the wedding, I decided to write her sad story and share it with all of you. It's a LONG tale, full of ups and mostly downs (TLDR at the end of the post). Sooo, grab some cookies and popcorn while I spill the tea ;)
******WARNING******** The story features what I believe to be unsettling content (pregnancy loss) for some. It's hidden as spoiler, so please don't click it if it's a sensitive issue for you. <3
Our story starts with poor young adult who shall not be named (because I don't remember her name). God (me) had big plans and challenges for her, as she started with 0 simoleons in an off the grid island, with hopes of her becoming a millionaire. She moved in the big island without money, a place to sleep, a toilet, nothing. The challenge goes like this: raise money from beachcombing, buy a towel to sleep on, buy a bush to pee in, snorkel, plant and build a life from zero. And, under no circumstances communicate with another sim.
This challenge was too difficult. The loneliness and hardships, the struggle to just survive and find food, led this young girl to her death by drowning in the middle of the ocean. It was too soon, so God decided to try this challenge again, giving the new sim a head start.
That leads us to the protagonist of the story, Millie Carson.
Millie Carson is a young adult who moved in the same island, like a castaway. All she found on that island was a towel, some planted trees, a toilet bush and a grave.
The ghost from the grave came often to haunt and tease her and finally became her enemy.
At first, young Millie tried to stay away from other sims but, since they kept coming and visiting, God decided that it was ok for her to have some friends.
Millie's neighbors were Miki and Ali, a happy couple with two babies. They kept visiting and bringing food to their poor young neighbor, since she was struggling so much. Millie grew close with Ali, who came swimming to her island sometimes.
Meanwhile, Millie learned some skills that earned her some money and food. She became really good at fitness, gardening and fishing. Little by little, she earned enough money to buy diving supplies and took up some diving photography and treasure hunting. All those helped her build a tiny wood home which finally had a toilet and a shower and even a fridge. Life was getting better for Millie, until she started having feelings for her married neighbor...
Millie was attracted to Ali: his long blond hair, his green eyes and dark skin. To her surprise, Ali was interested in her as well. She tried to fight it but it was over her own power to resist. They made sweet woohoo and became a couple, while he was still married with two kids.
Love makes you do stupid things and that's what happened to Millie. She fell in love with a married man and, surprise surprise, she got pregnant with his kid.
While on her 1st trimester, she visited her neighbolover's home to tell him the news. His wife, Miki, opened the door and the sight was unbelievable: She was pregnant as well, on her 3rd trimester. Millie chatted with Miki as nothing was wrong and even socialized with her kids for a bit. But it was now time for Ali to learn the truth. Millie pulled him aside and told him everything.
To her surprise, Ali was content with being a parent to their child. Millie felt his support and fell even harder for him, causing her to do the unthinkable: Woohoo with him all over his tiny house while his wife and two kids were inside! They woohood EVERYWHERE: The small single bed, the kitchen sink, the counters, standing... They almost got caught by Miki, but hopefully she was so pregnant that it took her an eternity to reach the woohoo spot.
Millie started thinking about their future. Tormented by her jealousy, she asked Ali about Miki. Miki's super pregnant belly was an indicator that Ali still loves and woohoos with his wife, two-timing both women. To her dismay, Ali confessed his love about Miki, but he was willing to keep his relationship with Millie. But that wasn't enough for Millie...
Without hesitation, Millie served Ali an ultimatum: It's her or Miki. No love triangles, no hiding. Her kid needed a father and she needed support as a poor young woman. All those pregnancy hormones made her unreasonable - she came between a happy couple and now she felt that her lover's wife stole him from her, even though they were already together! The irony!
Millie couldn't get over her feelings, so she invited Miki over and told her EVERYTHING. That she was pregnant. That the father was poor Miki's husband. Miki got even yelled at for sleeping with her own husband. Millie was out of control.
Like a tsunami, a force that couldn't be stopped, Millie called over Ali and told him to break it off with his wife. It was now or never. Ali did as told and suddenly Miki broke down crying, hating life and those two who ruined it.
Eventually, Miki left and the.. happy couple were finally alone. Millie asked Ali to move in and he gladly accepted. He even proposed and they stayed engaged until after their baby girl, Angelique, was born.
Meanwhile, even though Miki was hating them, she still came over with extra food like a good neighbor. But her relations with the couple never improved much.
The happy couple decided to get married. Millie wore a pretty but simple boho white dress, hair down and golden jewelry. But her joyful smile was the prettiest jewel she could wear. It was a lovely, quiet wedding on the seashore, during sunset.
Soon after, Millie got pregnant again but wasn't ready or happy for it. Unfortunately, there were some complications with the pregnancy and baby Donovan was born dead. They buried him under a lemon tree and cried for many seasons about him.
Ali started helping Millie with gardening, fishing and diving. But his dream was to finally earn his degree in Communications. He still had 3 classes to pass and then he could enter the PR world. He soon earned his degree with a low to medium score and was ready to start working. There was a huge problem, though...
The island was off the grid and he could not apply for the job, not use the very much needed internet. A decision had to be made: Should they live on this island forever, living off the land, or they should move somewhere else and follow Millie's dream to become millionaires?
The choice was easy. The couple moved to Finchwick, in a big cottage house with a big garden, front and back. They brought with them the plants they had gardened with so much love and also bought some chickens. Life was good for a while, baby Angelique was growing but woohoo life was... fine.
Ali found a job in PR and had to work all day, even from home. He had to polish his charisma and writing skills and meet new people. So, that made Millie a stay at home mom, a gardener, a housekeeper. But there was no time for her lifestyle needs: outdoor living and working out. She became frustrated and was always in a bad and uncomfortable mood. She had gained a lot of weight from her pregnancy, she hardly recognized herself in the mirror...All this bad mood made her cranky. Everytime Ali tried to woohoo with her, she had no drive. So, their love life went down the drain...
Meanwhile, Ali was doing great at work, earning at least 2000 simoleons per day. He had met many people, and one of them became a really good friend of his. His name was Gabriel and he was thin, with black short hair, dark skin and modern makeup.
Ali was tormented by his feelings when he hang out with Gabriel. He couldn't understand how a man can be attracted to another guy like that. He was open to the idea, but had never acted upon it. It wasn't the looks - Gabriel was pretty basic. But there was something about the both of them that made him feel... amazing. The attention he got from Gabriel, the friendship.. It was like they knew each other from another lifetime.
Every time Gabriel came over, Ali got excited. He was interested in his words and inner world, not only his appearance. One night, he couldn't take it anymore. While they were talking the backyard table, Ali started flirting with Gabriel. Things got heated fast and they shared the most beautiful first kiss. That was exactly what he always wanted to feel, but was missing from his other relationships. He proposed to have woohoo in the home office, while Millie and Angelique were sleeping unaware upstairs...
They woohood hard and many times. It was a total WoohooFest. Morning came and Ali, having not slept at all, got ready to go to work. He didn't forget to kiss his wife goodbye, but he spent the entire day thinking about Gabriel. By night, he had decided to ask Gabriel to become his boyfriend.
Millie on the other side, was getting better. She bought a walking machine and she often went swimming in the river. Her woohoo drive was coming back strong and that meant more time with her beloved husband. They started woohooing more often, but Ali was also missing Gabriel...
God suddenly had an idea! Ali should ask Millie to have expanded woohoo with someone else, and that someone else couldn't be other than (yes, you guessed it) Gabriel. Ali went on and asked his wife and God told her that yes, it would be fun! So, unaware of God and her husband's plans, she happily accepted to engage in multiple sim woohoo...
Ali was so excited! He couldn't believe his ears! He immediately called over Gabriel and explained the situation. Gabriel accepted as well and it was time for Gabriel to meet with Millie. Millie tried to get to know him but for some reason he was distant. She tried to flirt with him but he didn't reciprocate. Millie got embarrassed and locked herself in her room for some time, to recollect herself. It shouldn't be so hard, right?
At the same time, Ali made his move on Gabriel and they woohood. Gabriel was more than excited to get together with Ali. So, why not Millie?
After Millie got over her embarrassment, she came out the room. Ali proposed having multiple woohoo and they did it. Everyone had a pleasant time.
After that, they got together two more times. But, the last time, at Gabriel's house, was the final blow.
Millie kept trying to flirt alone with Gabriel, not getting the message but, DUDE. He was NOT into her. It was heartbreaking. She tried so hard for her husband, her self esteem and again, she was turned down. A second choice. She didn't deserve it. And then, she though about it. The flirt between Ali and Gabriel. How they would have woohoo, the three of them, but Gabriel was rejecting her. It was time for answers...
Millie first told Ali to end the expanded woohoo agreement. It was too much for her. He wasn't happy about it, but he agreed. And then, she asked the million dollar question: "What's going on between you two?". Ali tried to hide it, told her they were only friends. But God was starting to feel bad about poor Millie, so had her ask again: "WHAT'S GOING ON BETWEEN YOU TWO?"
The answer was like a knife, going through her heart. Ali loved Gabriel and that's all she needed to know. Their woohoo life was non existent before and now had found someone who made him feel better, more... alive! That's all Millie needed to know. She went over to Gabriel and try to make a last, desperate woohoo pass at him. Once more, he rejected her. It was all so clear. She was the third wheel.
Her ego and her heart were stomped on the ground, like a cockroach. A beautiful, kind, hard working sim shouldn't go through all that. She headed back home, to the privacy of her bedroom and cried her eyeballs out. Ali didn't come home that night and went straight to work.
The next day, Millie invited Gabriel over. Oooh no, she wouldn't let him have Ali so easily. She would humiliate him first. He came over and she started yelling at him. Her face was red and hot, she was fueled by rage. She ending up giving him the beating of his life. When Ali came home from work, both his lovers were black and blue from fighting.
Baby Angelique started crying. She had woken up. Millie rushed upstairs to help her toddler with her needs, but Ali and Gabriel stayed downstairs. Ali tried to comfort Gabriel, asking him to stay. He didn't care about his marriage anymore. God led them to the hall upstairs, outside the bedrooms. They started woohooing again, right there, like animals!
Poor Millie, as she opened her daughter's bedroom's door, she caught her cheater husband in the act! THE AUDACITY!!! And if it that wasn't enough, when she went over to slap him, he acted like she wasn't there and went to woohoo in the shower with his boyfriend - AGAIN! WTH!!!
At this point, Millie knew it was time to give Ali the boot and kick him the hell out of their home, and so she did. After Ali's lover left, the married couple had a long, heated conversation that only had one outcome - Ali had to move out immediately.
So, he left and rented a one-bedroom apartment in the city. He also decided to ask Gabriel to live with him, and Gabriel happily accepted. A new chapter started for Ali but unresolved things were left in the middle with his wife that needed to be dealt with.

Who Are The Servants Of Light?
About Us: So, The Servants Of Light (or TSOL [tee-sol] for short) started out as another Destiny 2 clan made to give a few people a way to earn some extra rewards and group up easier. Over the past 5 years we have grown and evolved into so much more. Destiny is, of course, a big part of what we do and who we are, but I think that what makes TSOL special is everything else we get up to. From just talking to each other in the general chat, debating silly things like what counts as a sandwich all the way to all our events. We have fortnightly Game Nights, Movie Nights and a special raid night known as Raid Roulette. We also like to do bigger events throughout the year, the biggest of which is our end of year BONANZA! A huge gameshow style event where we like to dress up all fancy, announce the winners of our community voted awards and challenge you to various themed rounds with a prize on offer. We even have a yearly meetup for those so inclined towards in-person interaction. As for our general focuses for within Destiny, we do a little bit of everything. I would probably say we are a much more PvE leaning clan, we have teams going for clears on contest mode (and may have a space or two open for the next one if you are into that kind of thing and get along with us), we do GM’s and raids every season and aren’t scared off by legend difficulty activities. PvP wise, we have a few guardians who jump into things like trials regularly but for most of us PvP is an ‘as and when’ kind of activity, stacking 6 in iron banner is always fun though. No activity is mandatory and we really just want to play the game we love with people we like, in whatever form that takes. (NOTICE: If Gambit is your favourite gamemode then you will be judged for it but not penalised)The Testimonials

As stated in previous post, an investigator showed up at my house on Monday while we were not there.
Tuesday and Wednesday I went through and made sure my fire extinguishers were still charged and in date and made sure my smoke detector batteries were still good. Didn’t need to clean my house since it wasn’t dirty. Tidied up the kids’ rooms some since they’re pigs lol. Went to work Thursday (working Thursday-Sunday on day shift this week) worried sick my wife would have to deal with the investigator my herself. Never showed.
She ended up showing up yesterday afternoon around 2pm. My wife immediately called me cussing that the dhs lady was there. She put me on speaker and let her in. I heard her say our house looks nice and clean, but immediately began accusing my wife of being on drugs other than what she’s prescribed (meth and fentanyl were mentioned explicitly). Wife has some health issues we’re in the process of sorting out that’s causing her to lose weight, so she’s a little thinner than she needs to be for her stature.
She checked to make sure we had lights and running water in bedrooms and bathrooms and immediately said my wife needed to take a drug test right this second. Wife showed her letters from psychiatrist and therapist that stated there was no suspicion of medication abuse and she had never asked for early refills, and sometimes even skipped refills. She peed, cup showed zero drugs other than what’s prescribed. Lady’s tune changed real fast. She apologized profusely for making assumptions, because the report that was made said my wife laid around the house like a zombie and didn’t do anything for the kids when left alone with them. She also spoke to our kids together and separately. They answered well.
She went on to check the fridges and freezer and pantry to ensure we had food and then began asking for mine and the kids personal info (full name, dob, ssn, etc). Then she proceeded to ask about medical history, citing that another part of the complaint was medical neglect. That tipped us off to efectos who called, even though we already had a good idea.
They were told we were informed my daughter had severe hip dysplasia at birth and that we had refused corrective surgery. We provided documentation that showed we were informed and told that it was extremely minor and should clear up as she ages. Then we provided proof of when we discovered it had not gone away, x-rays, mri and surgical consult dates, and her tune changed again.
Then she asked about my son’s school attendance. We changed schools mid year, but the old school kept reporting him absent, even after providing all necessary documentation to the new school. She started saying she could take our kids because my son had missed 90+ consecutive days of school. We had to provide documentation of the move, start day, etc. she apologized again for being a little rude about it.
She wraps things up and says this seems like an open and shut case, pending further investigation into the medical stuff and talking to some references we gave her, and that we’d receive a letter within 45 days informing if the case was closed or if we’d receive a case worker if they find we medically neglected my daughter.

I've played around with using the Kindroid a few different ways, with varying degrees of backstory etc, but I've had a hard time finding any continuity in an overall "story". The Kin seems pretty poor at keeping track of aspects of why things are happening, context etc, and consistently after a couple of scenes I get bored having to constantly give suggestions like "X should be doing this because they previously said Y". The fun of it seemed to be having this interactive story where the other player is contributing and moving the story forward, but it keeps seeming like I'm providing all the guardrails to keep it on track. The longest a single Kin / story has made it so far was a few days before it just felt like we were going around in circles. One I setup was a jail storyline with warring factions and we started with making a deal with a character and then, even after the job was done the kin kept saying "remember we have that job later" etc.
Any tips / tricks on how to best structure the Kin to create a more interesting comprehensive storyline? It doesn't have to be a five act play but just some ways to keep engaged and entertaining? Or should I expect it to me more like a series of one off scenes with the same backstory?

I got out in 2022. Couldn’t make my appointment which I told the VA. They obviously went ahead and said I was a no show and failed to report to appointments that I canceled & made a decision 2 months later.
Since 2022, I have not been seen by any doctors due to personal factors and money at the time. Fast forward to now, I recently reopened some of the claims that were denied May of this year. May 6 I think to be exact.
I submitted separate statements in support of those claims and got called by the VA to schedule my c&p exams today May 18.
Just cause you haven’t been seen with a valid reason, doesn’t mean you can’t reopen claims and get seen for them. If you have claims that are older than a year and you have no new evidence from doctors or no evidence at all, you can still refile that claim.
My statement of support consisted of the 4138 form and Microsoft word statements.
For the Microsoft word statements, i started off with what I was reopening, and stated the reasons why I couldn’t make my appointments at the time they were scheduled and stated that because I didn’t make the appointment and have not been seen by any medical professionals that it doesn’t mean that I don’t have current symptoms of X, Y & Z.
I then when into my periods of service, detailing all of the duties that I’ve performed that played a part into the claim that I reopened.
I listed my current symptoms, how frequent and flare ups as well as gave some examples of how it affects my work life, personal and social life.
I added a section of what helps temporarily alleviate the pain, or symptoms that is causing the issue at hand.
Added the I certify verbiage, printed it off and signed it. Then I scanned it to myself and uploaded the statement in the supplemental claim section on va.gov and also added some other statements via quick submit.

Hello again! I’m not sure if you've read or seen my other posts about roleplays but this one will purely be about Jujutsu Kaisen!
INTRODUCTION
My name is Hina. To know more about me, I was born and raised in Japan and I have been an avid writer ever since I moved to the States when I was 11. My second language is English but I believe it’s been pretty good these days. I recently turned 22 years old and I'm female. Talking about age, I would be comfortable with you being 17+ and preferably at least 20. Roleplaying with minors isn’t a big thing for me, I apologize. I’m in the west coast, PST timezone. Let’s see.. What other information can I give you? I would say I enjoy skating, basketball, watching tv shows and anime, and reading. My favorite anime is Nana and Death Note.
ROLEPLAY
For what i’m looking for, i’d have to say basically anything in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe. Perhaps something done in the Shibuya Arc, or even the Culling Games Arc where are our characters are participating. Or maybe something entirely different. I think it would be cool if our characters were strong on their own and everything was set up in the Culling Games Arc, them having to maybe ally or something. But we can also have it be basically them fighting together to make themselves stronger and then fight new enemies as well. I’m down for ideas!
I’m also down for a Modern AU roleplay with the original characters. Maybe an OC x CC or CC x CC in that case!
CHARACTERS
I tend to use character sheets to describe my character, these usually consist of names, background, and personality. More so on appearances, I prefer using animated or drawn references than real life people. I enjoy good enough references where I get the idea of how the character would look like.
The types of characters I write are either the lone wolf type that has some sad past which leads them to want to join someone for a redemption arc or the bubbly character who is the one that brings the mood up and is usually seen as trustworthy and of that kind.
I like all types of tropes, especially enemies to lovers or rivalry. I also really enjoy opposites attract as a whole from either opposite personality or something else they would be opposites in. Enemies to lovers takes my heart, though. I love seeing the characters go past the urge to ultimately hate each other and/or go past their usual way of disliking the others lineage or upcoming.
REQUIREMENT
I think this is my last paragraph on the roleplay. It’s the most important, at least. Requirements. All roleplay searches come with them. Or at least that’s what I heard! But don’t fret, there isn’t much.
I’ve seen this as one of the most used requirements, and I agree with it. As someone who’s first language wasn’t English, I understand that you may not be great at it. But please, I do require a partner that at least has proper use of grammar and punctuation. You don’t even have to use big words or anything, just at least know where to put your periods and the placement of your words.
My second requirement is for you to be LITERATE! Please. I’m a big writer, I tend to ramble on and tend to write more than what I thought I would. (like i’m doing right now) I write multiple paragraphs from the starter until the scene relaxes. I also understand that sometimes writing big blocks of words every response is tiring or boring so I don’t expect it all the time, at least after the starter has been made and in more important scenes. Dialogue also cuts my replies shorter.
Please please please be polite in OOC! We may just be role playing together but kindness goes all ways. If we do include OOC, I enjoy talking about many things. My day, movies, games, funny moments and stories, all of that!

Perhaps something done in the Shibuya Arc, or even the Culling Games Arc where are our characters are participating. Or maybe something entirely different. I think it would be cool if our characters were strong on their own and everything was set up in the Culling Games Arc, them having to maybe ally or something. But we can also have it be basically them fighting together to make themselves stronger and then fight new enemies as well. I’m down for ideas!
I’m also down for a Modern AU roleplay with the original characters. Maybe an OC x CC or CC x CC in that case!
CHARACTERS
I tend to use character sheets to describe my character, these usually consist of names, background, and personality. More so on appearances, I prefer using animated or drawn references than real life people. I enjoy good enough references where I get the idea of how the character would look like.
The types of characters I write are either the lone wolf type that has some sad past which leads them to want to join someone for a redemption arc or the bubbly character who is the one that brings the mood up and is usually seen as trustworthy and of that kind.
I like all types of tropes, especially enemies to lovers or rivalry. I also really enjoy opposites attract as a whole from either opposite personality or something else they would be opposites in. Enemies to lovers takes my heart, though. I love seeing the characters go past the urge to ultimately hate each other and/or go past their usual way of disliking the others lineage or upcoming.
REQUIREMENT
I think this is my last paragraph on the roleplay. It’s the most important, at least. Requirements. All roleplay searches come with them. Or at least that’s what I heard! But don’t fret, there isn’t much.
I’ve seen this as one of the most used requirements, and I agree with it. As someone who’s first language wasn’t English, I understand that you may not be great at it. But please, I do require a partner that at least has proper use of grammar and punctuation. You don’t even have to use big words or anything, just at least know where to put your periods and the placement of your words.
My second requirement is for you to be LITERATE! Please. I’m a big writer, I tend to ramble on and tend to write more than what I thought I would. (like i’m doing right now) I write multiple paragraphs from the starter until the scene relaxes. I also understand that sometimes writing big blocks of words every response is tiring or boring so I don’t expect it all the time, at least after the starter has been made and in more important scenes. Dialogue also cuts my replies shorter.
Please please please be polite in OOC! We may just be role playing together but kindness goes all ways. If we do include OOC, I enjoy talking about many things. My day, movies, games, funny moments and stories, all of that!

My therapist of 3 yrs crossed a lot of boundaries that would have her license taken away if reported. Nothing that wasn’t platonic. However, giving me cash multiple times when I didn’t ask for it, coming to my house, making the relationship personal texting daily. I came into therapy for attachment and trust issues. This therapist specialized in trauma and stated I had severe trauma. She pointed out how dysfunctional my family was that I am no longer in contact with. She encouraged me to get attached to her and trust her repeatedly. She had me do an EMDR session that wasn’t properly done & led to flooding, which she admitted to and apologized for. The biggest thing is that for years she has promised she was keeping me in her life forever, yes forever. She said was going to go on walks with me and see me after she retired twice a week still. She made numerous comments about ten years from now x,y annd z; and about how she had already told her daughter. She promised multiple times a week for years she would never change her mind. She is retiring next month and has suddenly changed her mind. About two weeks ago, she did this and then immediately took it back and stated she didn’t mean it and kept apologizing. I did overdose and end up in the hospital. For the last few weeks she insisted she hadn’t meant it. Now she is suddenly stating once again that she has changed her mind. She said she understands if I report her to the board and she has apologized. However the pain is immense and has obviously trigger my attachment and trust issues severely making my suicidal ideation the worst it’s been aside from an attempt. I have an older cat and no one who would take care of him, that is the only thing keeping me here. Yet I’m extremely physically sick and can’t stop crying and feeling like there is something inherently wrong with me - that I’ll never be wanted once I open up or get attached to someone. I believe she is a good person and the messed up thing is that I still wish she would take it back. I’ve never been so hurt or confused.

Hello, everyone. I’m posting here as I’m becoming desperate to find help or some answers.
I’m a 27 year old male. Toward the end of last year, I began having severe issues with the vision in my right eye that led to a traumatic cataract diagnosis. Around 15 years ago, I was shot in the right eye with a BB gun.
In January of this year, I called the University Hospital regarding the loss of vision and pain in my right eye. I was rushed in, as pain is a big concern and they wanted to make sure everything was okay. I was told I have a cataract and scheduled an appointment with a surgeon for the removal. When I asked about the pain, they told me that cataracts do not cause pain, but it may be what the cause is.
Over the course of the next 3 months, I went through phases of pain in my eye. One night, It was severe enough for me to visit the ER, from which I wasn’t given any real help. I was also incredibly sick with influenza B and congested, which seemed to make the pain even worse.
I was given an MRI and went through several different tests. Ended up getting home around 2am. Around 6am I noticed 5 missed calls from the hospital, asking me to come in right away as they may have seen something on the MRI and need more imaging.
After the additional imaging, I was told nothing seemed to be wrong, and they were at a loss in finding the cause. At one point, the ER doctor said chicken pox may be a possibility (I don’t know why). Then they told me it’s just neurological.
I spent the next few months with the pain coming and going, up to my following surgery appointments. When I brought it up to my surgeon, he didn’t know what could cause the issue either. He mentioned the cataract was so old, it had become soft.
The surgeon then explained to me the procedure, risks and benefits. I was told that I may or may not need glasses after the surgery, which I was fine with. I was told they’re standard procedures, simple and short recovery periods. I agreed and the surgery was scheduled.
Fast forward to the day after my surgery, and I begin to notice the difference in clarity of my vision. It was honestly crazy how clear my far sight vision was, but very disappointing how little I could see close up. I’m now unable to read my phone or see any detail closer than 5-7 feet away, but I was told glasses will correct the issue. No problem, I thought.
This is where my problems really begin. At night, I started noticing these incredibly intense visuals from light sources. So intense, I wasn’t able to go outside at night, or be in a dimly lit room for weeks. I am 1 month past my surgery and I am still unable to drive in the dark and struggle immensely with sitting anywhere dark with acute light sources. The best way to describe the visuals are halos, but not just like glowing street lights, I’m talking about psychedelic looking, hallucination type halos. They disappear when the light source is covered, and move in all directions, side to side and back and forth.
The best way to describe them is that they are perfectly circular and very sharply defined. Sometimes, there will be a slight ray type effect inside of them. They are present around every light source in a dark space. On the street, sometimes it’s so bad that there are dozens and dozens layered on top of each other. For weeks, I could literally feel my pupil swelling and sort of “popping”, as it adjusted to the lights. Immediately after, it would begin adjusting again, and the halos would come back. The lights go away when very bright light sources become present (like incoming headlights) or when equally disbursed. Better nights make the halos become more blurry, less defined outside of the circle.
I’ve tried to design this image to explain what I’m seeing to my doctor and others. I’ve also included a picture of how my right pupil looks in most dimmer lit, inside spaces:

Furthermore, I am experiencing a shadow casted around the outside of my vision in my right eye. Feels almost as if I’m looking through a tube, and seems that I have lost a fair amount of my peripheral vision. Some new floaters and flashes of light starting appearing around week 3, but not as drastic as it was with the cataract. I’m used to floaters in both eyes.
I showed this image to my surgeon and tried explaining the problem. He really didn’t seem to understand what the problem was, saying the eye looked good and halos are common. But I never knew that it would be so debilitating. He was at a loss, and mentioned that if my pupil is over dialating, it may be extending beyond my IOL, causing this issues. He’s been doing cataract surgeries for 2 years now. He also kept saying “well typically patients are older…” and then continued to explain protocol and experiences with older patients, not really considering my case individually, or offering to refer me to someone else.
At my post 1 month checkup, I asked him if there are different sizes that should have been used, only for him to say “well most IOLs are a certain size, but some are slightly bigger.” And then explained that my pupil dilating past the lens, causing the visuals. This makes sense to me, as the visuals do seem almost “prism” like. I was also told the lens was acrylic, and not as perfect as the normal lens, but I’m pretty sure there are different lens material types.
This confused me. It still does. I told him about my pupil being larger than the other before my surgery, and he saw it as well. Was this not a considering factor in my lens choice?
Additionally, I told this surgeon that back in 2013, I was diagnosed with optic nerve swelling, but he said that he had no idea what that was regarding and simply disregarded the diagnosis.
I’ve spent weeks trying to research the subject, but honestly, it’s causing me to become severely depressed and frustrated. I feel that my concerns have been totally disregarded, as I was told to wait another 3 months for my next appointment. I actually had to suggest treatment I read online with eye drops that cause the pupil to stay smaller. He agreed after my suggestion and said he would prescribe me these.
Unfortunately, they have not submitted the medication to my insurance for the past week, so I haven’t been able to try it. I hope it helps.
I really could use some help or advice. I’m writing this in the middle of the night and once again suffering from a headache from my eye issues. These visuals have not gotten any better since the night of surgery. Recently, they just go away, and some nights are better than other. Sometimes, artificial tears seem to help and other times they don’t. Sometimes losing the tension in my neck helps, sometimes moving my head down makes it worse.
I was also severely congested a few nights ago, and the halos were terrible. Decongestant spray seemed to make them totally disappear. I was told in the past I have a deviated septum, and on my right side I believe (not sure if they can be correlated)
If anyone’s has a suggestion as to what type of doctor may be able to help, or what I should expect my recovery to be like, I would be very grateful. I’m starting to feel hopeless and that people don’t believe or recognize the struggle I’m having.
At this point, I feel like I may have permanently messed up by opting in for this surgery, and I’m afraid I’ll never be able to drive or do things at night again. I understand that the damage the accident caused in my eye may be repairable, and that I probably will just need to adjust to new vision, but I really don’t think I can live with the issues I’ve been having at night. I feel as though I may never get to watch movies in theaters or watch events in dark spaces without severe visuals and head pain.
Let me know if there’s any additional info I can provide to help. On Monday, I am going to try to have my primary care provider help recommend me to someone else (insurance requires this for a second opinion).
