It's funny, I used to be deadset on getting tatted when I was younger. I wanted to be total patchwork, everything covered. I loved Mei Pang's look! (still do tbh). But as I grow up I find myself getting more turned off by tattoos. I once had a dream I had a huge back piece, it wasn't badly done, but I woke up and was like hell no I'll never get a tattoo. I think the idea of the permanence irks me, and I think I was so drawn to Mei's tattoos because they're symmetrical. One alone, if not minimal, looks out of place to me
I am happy my mind's changed, I look back to my old tattoo ideas and good lord. Granted I thought of them when I was like 14 but still, if I got some of this stuff tatted on me I swear that patch of skin would be cut off by now lol
Some examples are (keep in mind I was ~14): holly (??), "outlaw" (lol okay cowboy..), playing cards (or just an ace), a reticle (??? like why), John 15:13 (I have zero idea why I thought this verse was applicable to myself? not cringe just weird), the american idiot logo (I wanted this SO BAD), JOS logo (the middle row on the right) and ascii art. Keep in mind those are the relatively less embarrassing examples. I was such an edgelord such a weirdo ... I should delete that entire note lol. But that was actually funny to look back on. Just how and why
That being said, I am sort of thinking of getting a small quote tatted on my back, ~below a shoulder blade. Only a few words and not in a corny font. Unsure what quote tho, I love Nayyirah Waheed's poetry, I may do something from her idk. I want something easily hidden, I would also be open to getting one on the nape of my neck. Back when I was with this guy I dreamt of getting a tattoo of his initial with a heart around it on like the spot behind the ear lol, I wouldn't be opposed to something there.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’ve never gotten a tattoo. I’ve always wanted to, but then I married my husband who said he’d divorce me if I got one. Well guess what? I’m divorcing him, so tattoo it is! I know what I want and where I want it, but I have a question about font. I want it to be in a pretty, handwritten looking font. Almost like calligraphy. I’ve attached a picture with the style of writing I’m kind of going for. Can I bring an example like that and tell them to go for it? Or do I need something for them to copy exactly?

Firstly, I will vent about some, by that I mean a couple of mostly unrelated things here, and in most of the cases I really doubt it's the band's fault at all, not in the slightest bit.
Firstly, we in Germany have this mailorder called Impericon, originally a hardcore/metalcore fanzine that had connections to venues, so they were basically promoting and hosting idiot dancing 'indoors festivals' (aka. couple hot scene bands, one day, one sticky venue, ~80 bucks for the name) which fused with that 'Hopeless Records EU' thing that once existed. And yeah, if anyone here remembers that server fuckup that caused many hundred customers to get their Suburbia10 preorder vinyl by The Wonder Years more than 6 months later - I was one of those lucky fews, and Impericon is the company that's to blame for all this 'selling more copies than actually exist for a cash-grab' thing. And I ordered my CD way back when the release was up on par in april with the digitals.
Like, it wasn't even a vinyl which may take longer. As good as this album might be, it shoulda been out and in my PO Box friday last week. But they couldn't even send me a T&T code until monday afternoon, which told me that the package will most likely arrive - by that I mean - dropped off at the delivery office - in the next 24-48h. Like, and they didn't even bother to answer my support e-mails to apologize.
On the other hand, I remember being disappointed when I bought Vacancy back in the day that the artwork is just cheap and mostly non-existent, because I flipped it open and the inside of the digicard is full-on nothing but white, but the booklet was having some pictures here and there that fit the record, plus the bonus 7" and shit.
But here, I didn't have full-on blankness on the insides but a nice-to-tattoo ornament logo that plays into the whole 'cult' thing, and a bunch of completely blurry, unrecognizable and complete screenshots from the 'Castaway' vizualizer from YT, and the booklet was reduced to a fold-out card 4x4, b/w only printed, which reads the lyrics in Arial font and also leaves out 75% of 'Good Advice's' lyrics completely for need of unneccessary biiiiig white spots between the lines printed, and also for this huuuuge amount of artwork, the Art Director, the 'Illustrator' that basically downloaded a print-out mandala and placed the bayside bird in the middle, and the "Photographer" - that took the front cover photo, all get a separate line in that booklet.
Like, look at the Wonder Years what they're getting, like every year a big special 4-Vinyl Box that comes with a 12x12" full-color hardcover book, and they have similar sales and plays/clicks.
Is it just me or does this feel like HLR being "Aw yeah those guys, before we signed them they were with Brummel so they'll take what we want them to as long as they get an acceptable share of their royalties"?

I know everyone is talking about the album and cover art (which I am excited about and also prefer the first one) but I wanted to share my tattoo. Hello, I’m new to the tattoo world and I’m looking to get a tattoo just some fine line cursive writing. I have a deeper brown complexion so I was wondering if there’s anyone in the Orlando Florida area that can tattoo on dark skin and do fine line work as well. I’m pretty open to anything. I just wanna smooth and easy tattoo experience. Also what are some red flags in tattoo shops? I want to go into an experience and not feel completely stupid for not knowing anything.

Android 15 is on the horizon, and with that comes a few crucial questions for the future of Tasker. Here's a list of changes in the current beta 2:

• Android 15 will block users from installing apps with a target SDK version ≤ 23. Previously, Android 14 blocked apps with target SDK version ≤ 22.
  
• I previously reported, Android 15 is adding support for 16 KB page sizes. Google says devices with larger page sizes can see improved performance in memory-intensive workloads. Apps with NDK libraries will likely need to be rebuilt to work on these devices.
  
• 15 includes ANGLE as an optional layer for running OpenGL ES on top of Vulkan. The move to ANGLE will standardize the Android OpenGL implementation. Going forward, ANGLE will be shipped as the default GL system driver on more new devices with the goal for GL/ES to be only available through ANGLE.
  
• devices that don’t have a HW AV1 decoder, VideoLAN’s SW AV1 decoder (dav1d) can be utilized. As I previously reported, dav1d is a highly efficient and performant AV1 decoder. It’s included by default in Android 15 but is available on Android 11+ devices through a Play System Update. However, apps have to opt in by invoking dav1d by name for now.
  
• Improvements to the security of intents. Intents that target specific components must match the target’s intent-filter specifications. Intents without an action will no longer match any intent-filters.
  
• Foreground services that rely on the SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW permission exemption for background starts are now required to have a visible overlay when targeting Android 15.
  
• dataSync and mediaProcessing foreground service types now have a ~6 hour timeout after which the service is no longer considered a foreground service. If the service doesn’t stop itself, it’ll get stopped with a failure.
  

-, some text changes. Beta 2 includes API-related updates from ICU 74. The font file for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is now a variable font. There’s now a font file for the Japanese Hentaigana font. TextView now allocates additional width for cursive fonts or language characters with complex shaping that may otherwise get clipped.

The main issues are points 5, 6, and potentially 7(?) Could any of these changes change the way that Tasker behaves in future releases? Are any of these changes cause for concern?

You all. I’m even embarrassed to ask this and I’ve used my Cricut so much but I’m one of those that when I’m done I forget everything and each project is like I’m a novice again. 🙄
So I’m trying to print simple text on black vinyl to put in a shadowbox for a year end teacher gift but I’m seriously getting stuck at the san serif text and how I connect them so that when I cut it on my Cricut it’s all one piece and not letter by letter. Does that make sense? The cursive font I’ve got all connected but how do we handle that with block letters? I can’t use transfer tape bc I’m putting it on a cardboard base so it will tear the paper.
I’m sure I’m overcomplicating this. Am I? Am I just not thinking about this clearly?

I have so many designs that I want to bring to life, but I don't know where to start. I want to start off small, so I'm thinking about getting a brother embroidery machine under $500, SE600 of sorts. I've seen a lot about digitization. Do I need to digitize the fonts? Is this really expensive? All I'm going for is a simple text & cursive font.

I love Bell Centennial Std but I am looking for a handwritten version, doesn't have cursives, and is realistic.

dominic fike has been one of my favorite artist since 2019 and i was curious to if anyone had any ideas for a DF tattoo? i was thinking of getting the cross for sunburn ( in black and white) , i dont really want anymore font as i already have one font tattoo and then im planning on getting a second font tattoo. I was gonna go with what could possibly go wrong album title but im iffy to have three tattoos with font. any logos or ideas would be cool to know ! ( all in black and white also )

I'm new to skyrim and modding in general but I read on load order is important that the game runs properly but I have no idea what or how to exactly sort it properly. Could anybody give a general guideline to follow. Currently whenever i encounter any problems i either do: a) Skip the mod entirely after searching the mods and found it might be too complex to follow b) Reinstall Skyrim and hope for the best c) Enable and disable mods to find out which is working or not working
