Kei Truck Registered as MPOHV in Georgia?

2024.05.17 13:51 spazzyfry123 Kei Truck Registered as MPOHV in Georgia?

Kei Truck Registered as MPOHV in Georgia?
I have some property in North Georgia we recently built a home on. Heavily wooded with constant work being done to clean up fallen trees and the like with the tractor. Truck is too large to be nimble enough through the trees. Kei truck fits the bill. My dilemma is that I will need something that can still go a handful of miles to the recycling center, dump, pick up supplies from the Ag store, etc. I'm sure there are plenty of "me's" in Georgia right now. These little guys check every box I need.
I see two options.
  1. Throw a reflective triangle on it when I run into town.
  2. What's the deal with the MPOHV registration?
The way I look at it, a Kei truck manufactured after 1/1/2000 will be eligible under the qualifications outlined on Georgia's DOR site. With import laws indicating it must be ≥25 years old, next year, 2025, marks eligibility.
Am I missing something? If so, I'll go ahead and import one now and deal with option 1 above until next year. If the typical UTV wasn't so outlandishly expensive, I'd go that route to avoid skirting the law. Insert Kei.
https://dor.georgia.gov/registering-multipurpose-highway-vehicle
Georgia law provides for the registration of “multipurpose off-highway vehicles.” Only MPOHVs manufactured after January 1, 2000 may be registered. Not all vehicles built for off-road purposes or purposes other than driving on roads will qualify as MPOHVs eligible for registration.
Vehicles that qualify as MPOHVs for registration purposes must have the following features:
  • Manufactured after January 1, 2000
  • Has the ability to transport people, cargo or both
  • Minimum cargo (payload) capacity of 350 lbs.
  • Contains a nonstraddle seat
  • Must have the ability to operate between 25-65 mph
  • Overall width of 80 inches or less
  • 4-wheels or more
  • Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) less than 4,000 lbs.
  • Steering wheel is required for steering controls
Note: These requirements eliminate the registration of dirt bikes, three-wheelers, four-wheelers and other vehicles with handlebar steering, straddle seats, and less than four wheels.
MPOHVs must also have features specifically intended for utility use. Generally, this means that MPOHVs must be vehicles designed and manufactured primarily for performing off-road tasks in agricultural, construction or industrial settings. This will exclude vehicles made for on-road use, regardless of whether such on-road use was intended for highways within Georgia or elsewhere. This will also exclude golf carts, which are designed primarily for recreational use and do not have features specifically intended for utility use.
MPOHVs must be equipped with the following safety features:
  • Headlights
  • Brake lights
  • Taillights
  • Rearview mirror
  • Safety belts

2024.05.17 11:22 Jealous-Rice1293 Pernat: "For Bastianini Pramac is an option, but we are talking to Aprilia"

Link: https://www.gpone.com/it/2024/05/17/motogp/pernat-per-bastianini-pramac-e-unopzione-ma-parliamo-con-aprilia.html
"Marquez has broken the balance, I don't think he will go to KTM. After Ducati's decision the market will accelerate, the first contracts as early as Mugello"
The flames of the market are smouldering under the ashes in the Borgo Panigale offices. Ducati is holding up negotiations by taking its time to decide who will be Bagnaia's team-mate between Martin, Marquez and Bastianini. All that remains for the others is to wait, and then close with the one who will be excluded from the choice. Carlo Pernat, Enea's manager and a great connoisseur of the rider market, knows this well.
"Ducati's decision, which will probably come after the Mugello GP, is blocking everyone: KTM, Aprilia, Yamaha - says Pernat - Right now, no one wants to sign contracts, there are maybe some verbal agreements, which have the value they have. I understand Ducati because they have three very strong riders and if at the beginning they thought they would leave two of them out, now their mentality has changed. I have the impression that they want to keep two and so they are putting pressure on Pramac in particular, but Yamaha are pushing hard with Campinoti. These days there will definitely be talks, I think before Mugello even Pramac will decide what to do."
Today, Martin seems the favourite for the factory team, at this point Ducati could offer Marquez or Bastianini to Pramac, provided they want to go.
"It's a hypothesis, if they decide for Jorge, in my opinion Ducati will make proposals to Marc and Enea to stay with the factory bike in a satellite team. That I think is the route they are taking."
Would Bastianini accept being moved to Pramac?
"The priority is to stay with the factory team, everything else is to be seen. Going to Pramac with an official bike could be a possibility, but it's not certain. I speak as a manager, there are the lures of Aprilia, KTM and even Yamaha. I don't hide the fact that Aprilia has important aspects, there would be the combination of Italian bike and rider and a competitive bike, I am negotiating with them as with others. In any case, Enea will be able to find a place in an official team."
Does Bastianini still hope to stay in red?
"If Ducati is postponing the decision it is because they still have faith in him. We mustn't forget that Enea was completely lost last year, he had arrived in a new team without Giribuola, with a new bike, he was immediately injured, he hadn't been able to train, he was injured again on his return to Barcelona and, despite being at 70%, he had managed to win a race. Ducati had reconfirmed him because they couldn't judge him for that season and now they also believe - and I also believe - in him."
Martin, Marquez and Bastianini are within 40 points of each other in the championship, does the thought of losing the future world champion scare Ducati? What would you do as manager?
"Now it's late, they should have made different choices before. I've always said that the arrival of Marquez at Ducati would upset the balance after having made a policy of young people and winning. Now it's difficult to do something, they've created this problem for themselves."
How does a rider react when he is in the situation of having to play for a seat in a few GPs?
"The riders when they race do not remember these things, but it is clear that they think about it when they are at home. There you can see the strength of each one, but that is not the only factor. For example, Enea ran out of fuel in qualifying at Le Mans, as he explained, and started on the fourth row. I am not asking for Bastianini to be lucky in these races, but not unlucky. By starting further in front he could have played with the leaders, he did the fastest lap at the end."
What does Bastianini think?
"It is a situation that has never previously existed and we are all a bit, from the riders to the managers, on our toes. Enea hopes to stay with Ducati, but we are ahead in negotiations with Aprilia and KTM and we have an open discussion with Yamaha. The objective is to arrive at Mugello with clear ideas and there we can make pre-contracts, and I am sure that there will already be something written there."
Does Bagnaia count for nothing in this decision?
"Rightly they may have asked him for an opinion, but then Ducati goes its own way, makes its own evaluations. It's not what makes the decision."
Pit Beirer said that Marquez is not a realistic option for KTM, do you believe him?
"I believe him. Miller and Augusto Fernandez are not doing what they were meant to do and they need a rider for GasGas, in fact I am talking too. Anything is possible, but it's difficult to see Marc in KTM having already Acosta and Binder."
Once Ducati has decided, will the market accelerate?
"Absolutely, especially for the big boys, as early as the next day. The manufacturers won't be able to wait, those who do will lose out."
In addition to Aldeguer, could someone arrive from Moto2?
"It will depend a lot on whether Yamaha will have a second team or not and also Aprilia has to change something in Trackhouse. People are talking about Joe Roberts, so he could get a seat. Maybe there could be another one at Yamaha, Arbolino would have to wake up a bit, and also Vietti, who would have the jump secured with KTM if he went well."

2024.05.17 11:22 Jimmy385 Do I need a shock pump?

I'm buying my first "adult" bike and I'm wondering if I need a shock pump. It just seems like extra junk laying around tbh.
I have a bike pump that is multi valve, but I never used it because the pressure range was too high for bicycle, car and motorcycle tires. I guess now I know why. Maybe it was for shocks. I also have an air compressor that goes to 10 bars. Could I use it?
What kind of valves do front and rear suspensions use?

2024.05.17 11:17 RudyKiploin Daughter terrified of shouting

Hello!
Coming to you lovely lot for a bit of advice.
This sounds like a brag but please let me assure you it comes from a place of deep seated trauma, but I have never shouted at my 22month old, not once. I'd say I've also probably never raised my voice, and I don't believe my husband has ever shouted at her either (although he does sometimes get a bit urgent in his tone).
The problem is, she's now absolutely terrified of shouting, or of anger, even when it's not directed at her. For example, we were doing happy faces, sad faces, sillyfaces, and she asked for an angry face which I did. And it caused her to burst into really frightened tears. We were saying lines from bluey "not frisky blue car, not frisky blue car, frisky blue car! Get in bobo!!" which again caused her to be heartbreakingly sad because I said "get in bobo!" Like chilli does.
She starts nursery in September and I'm really worried she's going to have a hard time if other adults raise their voice or shout (not that I'm expecting her nursery to do that but you never know).
How can I prepare her for experiencing other people's negative emotions? I obviously don't want to shout at her just so she gets used to it, as the world will shout at her enough, but I'm concerned that I've not raised her resilience when it comes to negative emotions.
ETA - she herself expresses anger and it's never ever shut down. She is allowed and welcome to feel any emotion, and we acknowledge what she's feeling. She often tells us she's angry, or sad, or "happy know it". I tell her I'm feeling angry so I need to calm down and take breaths, etc. I just don't explode because of my childhood.

* * * * * * * * * * * *
I hate this. This feeling of them all around my mind, but I need to see it. How did Keith become this? I can feel my tribemate, Hoda... I had expected her to choose to be my wife, but I feel it, she has become wife to Keith.... whatever, it is unimportant. I am Trayg, and I have four wives already, and at least six when I am done with this 'game'. He is a strong warrior, and I need to learn his strength. I feel all the other weaklings, though. Bah, weak, but they provide in their own ways to make up for it.
Keith's song begins again, and I feel things shift around me, and I see my first view of this Earth. For such a warrior, I expected a stronghold, but it is anything but. The sun is bright on this house, and I see farms back behind it, lines of trees to protect from the wind between fields, and a warm breeze flows outward. And then, I see him, a child, pedaling furiously on some contraption, a bag clutched in his hand, his knuckles paling from how hard he holds it. A tithe for his father, something to instill pride, though the memory does not remember what is inside. I follow the boy as he comes off of the contraption, letting it fall away as he sprints into the house, and suddenly, a sharp, loud bang fires off... something is wrong.
The sound is incredibly loud, the force of it I can feel even from here, but no birds stir, no rodents scurry, and I follow the boy, and something... feels wrong about what I am seeing, what I am hearing, like something screams already, but is muffled, and I can smell the blood already. The boy proceeds up the stairs, still sprinting with his tithe in hand, and the door to his father's chambers open... and the scent does not change, the whole scene is frozen in that moment, no birds chirping. Something is wrong, this still image. Something.... this scene is not real, and I feel the press of minds, Val calling out for me to halt, but I will not have things hidden from me, and I step forward, and I feel it tear, the whole world ripping apart around me. The scene is changed. The sound... it was not made outside the house, the boy did not enter after. He entered as his father took his own life, and I felt the minds shift, and the words of Keith's song pierce the vision:
You can't kill me if I'm already dead Buried alive by the things that they've said I killed myself, but no one knows
I felt a hand, but not in the shelter, the yurt that we occupied. Azoccu. I watched as he stepped into the room with a screaming child crying out for his father to wake up, and Azoccu knelt beside him, "Oh, child, no one should have seen this. This is not your fault."
He laid his hand on him, and the scene faded. Amongst the others, I could feel the Trils. They were gaining power from this somehow, but there was no time to think. Scenes whipped by, the boy at the funeral, comforting his grandparents, and something was wrong, but not the scene. The adults. They gave empty platitudes, and they spoke about him when they thought he could not hear:
"How do you even get over seeing something like that? He's so young..."
"What happens to him now?"
"First his mom, then his dad? Kid's gonna end up in a rubber room."
The boy's grandparents were broken down, inconsolable in seeing the body of their child, and then I felt Dukaetha enter, hopping along to sit next to the boy. Why is she the only one? Where are his friends? His family? Why is no one showing him how to grieve? Why is he the one comforting?
The scene shifted, and the rabbitfolk faded, and I watched as he stood off by himself, watching his father being lowered into the ground in a brown box, until another grandfather stepped up to him, this one hardier, with thick hair over his lip, calloused hand laying on the boy's shoulder, and knelt down, "Hey there, bit. Tell you what, me and Gramma had us a talk about it, and we'd like you to come live with us. How's that suit you?"
The boy trembled, bitter tears coming out, "Pop-Pop... I... I want dad back."
I watched the boy break, but... this is wrong. I felt a similar feeling from Hoda. Where were the other family? Why was his tribe not coming together for him? Two ceremonies for a corpse, and none of them to take him as ward except for an old man and woman? Where were the tribe's children? Even their shaman seemed more concerned over the dead one. Hoda stepped forward, praying over the boy as was her place as shaman.
The scene fell away, and more scenes came past. The boy grew, his 'Pop-Pop' teaching him to hunt, to farm, to ride, but I felt my anger building. His tribe pulled away from him, pulled back. They said the right words, expressed sorrow at the loss, but they all held back from him, like they might somehow catch his grief like a disease. It kept going, increasing as his grandparents died, one after the other, and steadily I watched as members of our new tribe stepped forward to be with him in those moments.
The rage welled up within me, growing by the moment. Again, and again.... I bellowed out, breaking the connection, and shoved aside those in my way as I stalked from the building, hearing the words of Keith from his stage:
As these judging eyes surround me And silence tearing me apart Only seeing to the surface They refuse to see my heart
I stalked across to one of the empty shelters, taking shelter from the storm raging around, and I screamed. I paced, and I felt the insane rage within my chest. I needed to fight, I needed to let this out, before it could stain my spirit. I ripped the hatchet from my belt, and put everything into hacking into one of the logs that were used for seating. I swung again and again, putting every bit of my anger into the act when I heard the door bang open. Val. She stepped inside, "Are you okay, Trayg?"
I threw the hatchet into what was left of the log, "Fuck your entire species!"
She stepped back as I stepped forward, shocked, "Look, I get it-"
"THEY ABANDONED HIM!"
She shook her head in that negative way the humans used, "No, they-"
I slammed a fist into a pillar, "Don't lie to me! I saw it with my own eyes! His whole tribe left him to rot save for one old man and woman who were too old to be caring for a young boy. Where were his friends?! Where was his shaman to heal his spirit? Where was anyone for him?!"
Val teared up, and stayed mute, "My world may be savages, but we never would have left a child like that."
I pushed past, exiting the shelter to go back, "And I won't abandon him now."

Adventure 390 X: Something what KTM did right
Showing a side-by-side photo of my current bike with an ADV 390 for size comparison.
This is something what KTM did finally and justice in somewhat sense to the ADV sector of the biking society by introducing the Adventure 390X in India.
A simple, no-nonsense adventure touring bike for you to sit and travel to anywhere you want with the basic power and control at the palm of your hand. Gone are the electronics and the somewhat working quickshifter and all you have is a bike with switchable ABS without the cornering ABS and Traction control, that’s it. The riders who prayed for the Traction Control to be switched off will finally be happy as this bike won’t hamper their riding experience and enjoy the bike the way they wish to. Tried and tested power mill at 43.5ps is no joke and certainly not a bore at all which will make highway riding great fun to drive.
The only thing which felt missing was a lower seat height option which should’ve been an option like the standard ADV 390 model and adjustable suspension which would’ve made it the most demanded ADV on the market above all currently on offer!

2024.05.17 10:37 ChuckolaReserve Request: week long bike rental - short rider, no luck at rent a bike 44

Hi everyone, wondering if you have shop recommendations for longer term bike rentals that aren't 'rent a bike 44?' I headed over and tested 7(!) bikes the owner thought would be my size, and all of them were off. My arms were stretched too far out from the handlebars, no matter how I adjusted the seat. Understandably, he did not want to bring any more out for me to test and disapprove of (and obviously I felt awful for wasting his time.)
I'm 5'3/160 cm. Even large children sized bikes are too small, but most size small adult bikes are too big. I typically fit on bikes that are ~148-151 cm.
I'm also staying with someone as a tourist further out (an hour bike or train ride away, 'Köllnische Vorstadt' neighborhood) for a week, which is why I didn't 'settle' for bikes that were good enough but just a little off size wise - I don't want to hurt myself by biking for 15 - 45 km each day on something that doesn't fit.
Also hoping it won't be an arm and a leg as obviously nothing will beat rent a bike 44's 6 euros a day or Donkey Republic's 40 euros a week offerings (as they no longer operate in the city of Berlin anyway), but other places I'm checking are charging up to 20 euros a day.
Edit: I'd prefer ongoing/rolling rental as things like nextbike, lime, tier etc. all charge an arm and a leg per minute/hour, regardless of picking them up as is or subscribing to a pass or plan. I know I'll want to make several pit stops in a day, and it just isn't feasible despite their convenience.
Edit 2: Swapfiets 'reserve a bike online' option - no matter how far I click out on their calendar widget, every day says they're booked full and can't accept any more reservations to pick a bike up in store.

2024.05.17 10:30 mag720 i don't like the way he treats my mom

My emotionally and verbally abusive dad
I feel like their relationship is falling apart. I’m starting to hate my dad, the way he behaves, the way he talks, the way he thinks, basically everything. He’s an oil and gas company employee and earns 100% income of my family, which means he doesn’t spend a lot of time at home. I'm 18F, and the time he spends in my life can basically be cut to half, because he only comes home for two weeks and works for two weeks every month, since I can remember.
He’ll always get triggered by the smallest things ever and starts to verbally abuse my mum or everyone in this family because he thinks he’s the financial source of this family and he can do whatever he wants for the sake of being a provider of this family. Yes, he financially supported us for about 20 years now, and I’m truly grateful for it, but the role of being a dad is definitely more than that, right? Plus, he only gives about 25% of his income to my mum and expects her to take care of four people’s spending every month and be a homemaker.
Here are the little things I’m gonna share with you that he’ll get triggered by. Whenever my mom was the driver he would be in the passenger seat yapping about how my mum’s driving skills were bad and belittling her. I hate to see that. He’s a misogynistic person, since I could remember he’ll always say a lot of things about women like he wasn’t raised by one. My grandmother is evil towards my mum, she’ll always try to gossip about my mum in front of my dad and makes my dad mad at my mum. My mum raised three of us, me, my brother and my sister because he’s barely home. Whenever he comes back from work, he’ll just meet up with his friends and drink till late at night and come home drunk. Or he’ll just go on bike trips with his friends for a few nights every week.
One time my mum was sick and overslept and missed my little sister's school time she straight up yelled at my mum for being irresponsible and he even said “You must send her to school every day unless you die.” It was shocking and awful, I would say I was already used to his tantrums but this is new and it's very out of line. My mum must felt so hurt at that time.
I never talk back to him. I never talked back to him since I was a kid, never, cuz whenever I had a little objection to his opinion I would get yelled at, very badly.
He always thinks he has the right to say all those bad things about us because he’s my mum’s husband and our dad. My dad would always start a fight with my mum about money. He thinks we’ve spent so much of his money and always being ungrateful to him which we did not. And the fight he had with my mum would always end with “You don’t know how many women are aiming at my money, I can still pull girls and choose not to stay here with you.” My mum will always be quiet about it because it’s the only way he will stop yelling.
His insecurity of fearing no one will take care of him when he gets older is getting really obvious now as he’s older. He’s unwilling to pay for our expenses and decided to cut off 5% of the money from the 25% he was initially giving us. I guess he’s trying to save up for his retirement but as his children, we did not say we would abandon him. Sometimes they will also fight about why me and my siblings rarely start a conversation with him and accuse my mum that she’s turning his kids against him. This is the most ridiculous shit I’ve ever heard of, I genuinely don’t know what he’s thinking. Btw he barely pays any attention to us, he only cares about his money and his bike.
Here's a little fun fact about him, he likes to brag. Whenever he gets anything that is “braggable” he will start to brag, and show off to the other relatives and friends, making others think that he’s a super generous person and he’s being very generous towards us, but the truth is, he’s not.
Whenever they fought, he’d say awful, hurtful stuff, and yell at my mom and they would stay quiet for a few days until they started talking again. Then things go back to normal and we live peacefully like a normal family and things will repeat.
I really wish that one day I could drag my mum out of this shithole. Maybe we are the problem too, we are too dependent on his financial support. I just needed to let things out for a sec so that I could focus on my study, cuz I don't know what to do now. I feel like they should've gotten a divorce
thanks for reading my rant

2024.05.17 09:59 Vortioxetine- Driving licence and ADHD

I explain the circumstance:
Loction: Europe Age: recently became a young adult
ℹ️Due to my threatening depressive status I have seeked help on public health buildings on jannuary of this year. They gave me anti-depressant therapy and gave me psychotherapy assistance.
During the psychotherapy assistnace, I have told to them my suspects about autism and ADHD, so they made me complete some tests. And then, I got diagnosed 1° level Autism and light ADHD.
So that's the first point.
During this period (I luckly had an impovement of my depressive situation) I have followed again my singular and strong desire: have a driving car license, so for this reason I have went to subscribe me to the driving school. I had to go in a special Medical Commisson for the driving licence (it's a medical check for understand if my mental conditions are enough for driving), obbligatory due to my depressive status and anti-depressant medicines usage.
They certified my stable humor so I have the green light to continue to study for the driving licence, even though I must to go there again the next year for check if I am still stable with my depressive status.
BUT there is BUT.
Since I just got ADHD diagnosis, I fear this could interfere with my official driving ability status when I will have to go again in this Driving licence Medical Commission, even though it's decleared to be a light ADHD level I fear they may say "Uhh well, here says you got a light slowed attention span, hmm, this is not ok for driving" and they remove me my future driving licence, I do not even know if they will ask about ADHD doagnosis or not, but as you all may know, is always better to prepare yourself for the thunderstorm instead of the sunny days
It would be a big and sad problem, since I always had the desire to drive and I even had to spend much money since the Driving Shool is noticably expansive. PLUS my deficit attention happens when I have to study or other stuff, but when I MUST stay focused (like driving my bike on main roads) I remain always on hyper strong focus, so at the 100% it will happen when I will have to drive a car
🔴So, I do really need further informations from those who had ADHD official diagnosis and already had or had to take the driving licence
Thanks in advance to those who will share with me their experiences.
(I give my apolgies due to my english grammar, since I am not a main english speaker)

2024.05.17 09:08 bill1024 Little Sister Wants To Ride My Bike

Sis started riding in the 70s. She worked up to a Sportster, (the boy's one, not the girl's one; whatever that means, but she stresses this). She stopped riding in the 80s when she settled into family life.
I got my first bike, a used 2018 Honda Rebel 500, at 64 years old. It felt like a bomb at first touch, but it turned out to be a great first bike, because it's tame, and easy to handle. A few years later, I'm still infatuated.
Last fall, my sister, around 5 feet tall, swung her leg around the Rebel on it's kick-stand. The thing is, she is about double her former weight (because health issues), and had trouble mounting for just a sec. The muscle memory doesn't match the current body. That little hiccup made me say I had to get going right now, so another time.
She has 10 more years experience than I do. I am still learning, and still feel like a newbie, but she has cross country and city seat time beyond. And she learned young, while her brain could absorb so much more skill than my old senior brain. She is the coolest, kindest, best person I know, and will come to your aid instantly if you need her.
Is it like riding a bicycle? Will she be OK? I want her to have the joy of the little Honda, but I want her to be safe.
Any suggestions how is appreciated.

2024.05.17 08:40 Atomidate Evelo Omega

Has this bike on my list of maybes as it ticked a lot of boxes but was more than I ever wanted to spend ($2800 vs the Lectric ONE $2000 and Priority Current $2300 with Costco NEXT). However there was a sudden sale and I'm agonizing over pulling the trigger. Anyone have experience with this ebike?
It's a class 3 with a throttle, 750W nominal mid drive with 115 Nm of torque, Gates carbon belt drive, an Eviolo Automatiq whatever shifter. I want to bike to work, toss a rack and/or baby seat on the back and go to the park, or just have fun. Seems like a lot of bike and even more so when it's at lower prices! Talk me off the cliff or tell me to jump.

2024.05.17 08:20 splendid22 Thinking of selling my Jawa Classic (2021). What should be the ideal asking price?

Thinking of selling my Jawa Classic (2021). What should be the ideal asking price?
Hey guys, as the title suggests, I'm thinking of selling my Jawa. It's been a reliable, beautiful bike that's taken me so many places.
The bike has 10K Kms on the odo, not ridden much and well maintained. Small scratches caused by kids here and there but can be fixed before selling. The seat has been modified to be more comfortable.
Handles really well and is a bliss to ride on the highway. Reason for selling is I'm planning to move abroad.
I'm thinking of asking 1.4L for it since the bike has zero issues and has been treasured for the last three years it's been with me.
P.S - MH passing.

2024.05.17 08:03 LS7-6907 AITAH for hating my cousin?

[By mistake I just used brother instead of cousin in some areas]
I(17M) am from India. While growing up I don't have any siblings. So my cousin (24M) was like my older brother, best friend when I was 5-6. I still remember at the summer break, we go to our grandparents house and play all day. He will stay awake all night till I reach our grandparents house at late night. I used to be very happy when I goto my school by wearing his old clothes. It's a kinda proud feeling. His father and my father are brothers, they are total of 3. While growing up he is kinda my trusted adult. I don't really have friends so I only had him. Even he has a younger sister but he likes to be with me at that time. But things started changing from here. He got into iit(it's a top most prestigious university in India) and I don't know what it was at that time. Cuz I was only 9-10 y/o ig. When I was 11 years old their parents invited me to visit them in the summer break. They live in Hyderabad(One of the biggest cities in India). So me and my granny visited them. I made some friends their and used to play with them all day. At this time he was not in his house cuz he was at the university. The next year when I was 12 I visited them again for the summer holidays. This time my cousin was there and I was so excited to meet him. I was amazed to see him with all the beard and mustache. I straight up went to him and hug him, he just pushed me back and just left the house without even talking to me. I was like okay he might be going out let's talk to him later. When he came house back, I went and sat beside him to talk but his replies are yeah, aa, ok. And he just went into his room and locked the door. I was sad. The same thing happened the whole summer. Then I didn't wanted to visit them again. I was so pissed on his behavior. I just didn't care him anymore. The next summer break when I was 13 they invited me again, but this time I ain't going again. But granny forced me, let's go I wanna see him(my cousin) and I just accepted to go. But at this point I dunno what did I do wrong, their who family started treating me like sht(except my cousin sis), After reaching my home I just told my mom I'm never going back to visit them ever again. I explained what happened and they seems not to care about it. My father straight up told me I must have done something so they are behaving like that. I was angry on my dad for that statement. At this point or a year after he got placed in a company and earning for $60k/year(This is alot of money in India) now all my parents and relatives started comparing us both. And told me I should take him as inspiration bla bla bla. Last year he bought his first house in hyderabad with his money(ig he took a loan) and bought a house for $10k(really alot of money in India). In India since we are hindus if you buy a house then they will do a ritual/ceremony stuff. Last year on may 20th this thing was organised. And my parents are going but i didn't wanted to go. I told them you can go I'm not coming, but they forced me to go with them. After going their the same shtty treatment again from him. And on ceremony day I was bullied by his dad for not getting a seat in iit and the relatives are mocking and bothering me. But my parents didn't give a sht about it. The ceremony started at 4am, I didn't have enough sleep so I just slept on the bed in the bedroom. Here comes my cousin shouting why am I sleeping on the bed. It's new and doesn't have any sheets and I'm making it dirty. And asked me to sleep on the flooon the chair. But after a while everyone gathered in the bedroom and he was quite. All my relatives are sitting on the same bed and he said nothing. And after I slept on the chair one of this old friend showed up with his family. He just pushed me from the chair and gave them the chair to sit. It's 9am so I just didn't care and was going to have breakfast and he then told me go get some breakfast for his friend. I said no I'm no doing it. My father heard me saying that and scolded me saying "who tf think you are go and serve the guests", I did what they asked me to do. And when I went to eat there was no breakfast. Everything was finished. At this point Im fcking angry but helpless, I don't own any mobile phone and I just use mom's phone it was at <10% charge. So I just grabbed my charger and plugged it, within 10 seconds his friend asked he wanna charge his phone despite having a fcking powerbank. My brother unplugged mine and charged his mobile. I said my phone is about to die and explained that guy got a powerbank, but my cousin didn't listen to me. I tried in the remaining rooms but the electricity was not completely working so I couldn't charge the phone and it's dead. I just left the house sat outside the house wishing I didn't go there in the first place and started to think what did I do that made him hate me this much. I was crying with the sweet memories me and my cousin shared. Later in the evening I just left them and started going back to my home. On the way my parents are talking about the house but, my father was angry because my behavior isn't good. Its a 12hrs train journey after reaching the home I just stopped thinking about it. And in September 2023 month, one of my other cousin sis was getting married. She was the daughter of my father's another brother. I didn't wanted go there either, but my granny convinced me and I went there. I didn't talked to him at all. He didn't bothered about me either and I felt like I'm a complete stranger in my fucking cousin's marriage. That's the last time I saw him. I realised he got alot of hate on me but for what reason. My mom told me I didn't talked to him at all to my dad, my dad is angry again saying good relations are important. I should maintain good relations with all my cousins. I straight up told on my dad's face he isn't any relation to me. I'm not going to see his face ever again in my life. Talking is the secondary thing. I fucking hate that guy he ain't any brother to me anymore. My father slapped me on the face. All this thing happened months ago, but I just wanted to share it.
