What do you guys think is the most effecting moral conflict in the sopranos ?
I'm a student studying philosophy and we got an assignment about a moral conflict in a fictionary world.
Of couse I had to chose the sopranos universe, because A) It is my favorite show B) What is a better way to give examples of morality than a TV-series full of (im)moral questions and acts.
One moral problem I have on my mind is an obvious one, should Christopher flee or tell Tony about Adrianas involment with the FBI ?
So do you have any examples ? I would love to hear them.

Of couse there is large difference between saying the n word as an insult or directed towards somebody than just saying the word without a specific target.. but at the end of the day it's just not worth saying it. It's a lose lose situation. It's not socially accepted and there's nothing to gain and much to lose. Specially when destiny is at all time low in public perception.(undeservedly or not)
I'm mixed race but if I didn't told u so I don't think most people would assume my father is black so I don't feel comfortable saying the n word neither... Not worth the hassle.
So I really struggle to understand why destiny would believe it's a good ideia to do it. I'm not even hating, I'm just baffled.

So I went into a new relationship recently with a guy that treats me great. I mean he is a really really nice guy. He is not really experienced in relationships (not that I an experienced dater, but I've had a more long term relationship before, whereas he has had only a few smaller ones for just 3-4 months), but he listens to me and learns fast. However, there is this one issue I have that I feel bad about bringing it up, because it's not an issue for a lot of people.
He tends to like the sweet/cheesy talks a lot, but they sometimes really make me turned off. I'm talking like saying "sowwy", "pwease" and a lot of "UwU" stuff. The "UwU" part I accepted and everything, he just likes texting it and I accepted that. I had a talk with him before starting the relationship that I don't like hearing people talk with a baby voice and the baby words, that make everything sound smaller and "cute" or idk, you know what I'm talking about. So he stopped using the words and so, but sometimes slips with the stuff I mentioned above. And it just makes me look at him like he is not a serious guy, in a way I feel put in a "mum" role when I hear that and I dislike it a lot. But I feel bad about bringing it up, 'couse it is a part of his personality and I don't want to make anyone feel the need to change themselves so they can be with me.
Should I talk about that with him or will it be rude?
Tl;DR: This guy I'm dating likes to talk with a baby voice or baby words sometimes and I really dislike it, but I'm not sure about bringing it up, as it may seem that I want to change his personality. Is it okay to bring it up or is it rude?

I just wanted to come on here and share about a few dreams that I have had about things before they happened and maybe get some of your thoughts and opinions.
The first time this happened I was 15-16 and my friend, we will call her Bailey, wanted to introduce me to one of her friends because we were both single. My friend lived in an apartment complex so we were all going to go to the pool to meet up with her friend and hang out. The only thing I knew about her friend was his name and that he was blonde and I knew that this other guy was going to be there. I went to sleep that night at her apartment and had a dream that we went to the pool and met up with her friends. One of her friends was sitting on a pool chair smoking a cigarette and he got up and put his cigarrette in his mouth to give me a hug. The friend that Bailey was introducing me to then approached me and shook my hand and greeted me and said "Hi, My name is Milo." (fake name). In the morning I didn't think too much about the dream since we had been talking about what we were going to do and who was going to be there so I just figured my brain latched onto it. Fast forward and we make our way down to the pool and everything happens exactly like it did in my dream. Down to the friend smoking, the clothes they were wearing, the tone of their voices, even the guy (who I had never met or seen a picture of) looked exactly like he did in my dream. It was like if someone was showing me a camera recording of my dream. I didn't really hit it off with that guy cause I was so freaked out about the whole thing that I just felt off the whole time and I think they could tell. When we were leaving the pool I told Bailey about the dream I had and how everything was exactly the same and she sort of laughed it off like she didnt believe me. After a few years I forgot about this until I had another dream similar when I was 19.
So I never have dreams that include my phone or electronics except for the occasional tv but this time I did. In the dream I was looking at my emails on my phone and came across one that said that an order of some merch from a bands website had been canceled due to supply issues and that I was going to be getting a refund. I woke up and did my morning routine and was scrolling through twitter. I am very active on twitter in the fandoms that I am a part of so of couse I was seeing posts about peoples orders getting canceled. I found one tweet that had a compiled list of all the products that werent going to be able to be shipped out and what I had ordered was at the very bottom of the list. I immediately was like wtf so I opened my emails to find I had an email from the website that had been sent two hours before I woke up and it was unopened. The email said that my ordered had been canceled.
I also had a dream about my friend having an argument with her boyfriend and then about a week later she told me that they had broken up and I usually don’t have dreams about people I know.

In short crypt tv film called belongings young woman and her daughter lily move in to house from which old lady gets her money and there is mysterious book but we don't know what happend to them at end. My theory : 20 years before the film took place there was a young woman and along with her husband she had a daughter she loved both her daughter and husband very deeply but they were poor becouse woman earnings weren't good enough to feed the family so she wanted money to save her financial sitiuation and gave her family better life. One day she heard about a house where supernatural things are happening so she along with her husband and baby wanted to investigate the house make a livestream and earn enough money to be finaly rich after some time searching the house she finds a strange book that could predict the future but there was a cach anyone who searches the book will be eaten by some monster so she sucks the life out from her baby by book which is on cover of book to avoid the death of her daughter than she sees a monster that is trying to kill her but her husband steps in and tries to fight the monster but he is slowly eaten alive in desperation she screams for his wife help but young lady decides not to not only betraying him but she tells him that her daughter is on cover of the book showing him that for money she could do anything cousing his death but when she is about to be killed by monster he speaks to her that he wanted to kill her but something make her go to that house she than asks the monster why he spared her and he replied that he needs human flesh to feed so thinking what she could get from feeding the monster he tells her that she wants money that is why she is here so he makes the deal with her he will make her earn money in humans flesh she agrees but on one condition he will make her daughter come back so he accepts the offer. Film : woman and her daughter lily move in to house when old lady gives them keyes to house and asks them if they will dissapear or not lily's mother asks what and lady tells that last owners run away from house after some time lily goes into room with a strange book the first page is called home sweet home which is that house the second page shows the woman her daughter and some blond girl third page depicts girl that doesn't know what to do fourth page shows twin girl lily and monster in disguise after little time lily's mother begins to searching for her daughter but she is nowhere to be found than she sees a movement thinking it was her daughter she goes to room finding a book so she searches through book looking for answers there are 3 pages one showing her and lily second showing her daughter being scared of something and third the monster behind her reading the book. The ending scene shows lady talking to someone on phone about that house and she has page ripped out to prevent the owners from finding out what is going on.

US Permanent Resident (since April '22 (family sponsored)). Will complete my 2nd year in an Engineering College by June '24. I have previously wavered with regards to my decision to move to the US because I'd already started college in India. 2 years through Engineering here, it's sucking the life out of me, the only thing that counts here is rote memorization. Don't think I'll be able to put up with this for 2 more.
Majors I'm interested in: 1) Mechanical/Aerospace/ECE/CS, 2)Finance/Marketing/Business
A) Would it be worth it to drop out and apply afresh for Spring '25 or Fall '25, effectively pushing me back 2-3 years. B) Is it possible to get a transfer admission? So far I haven't been able to find anyone with experience in this area
C) Would I be eligible for In-state tuition in NJ (the address on my Social Security is NJ based)
D) Would I be eligible for any aid/scholarships and if so how do I enter family financial information? Directly convert currencies? Comes out to about $110-120k directly converted, and am I eligible for any need based aid? Single child, house mortage pending (in India)
E) I'm used to high work loads and dont mind that, but how feasible is it to finish a 4 year couse in 3 years or less; if i say work through breaks
Stellar grades (95%+ in school), decent ECs, SAT 1520 (will retake). Heard from friends born/raised in the States that it's harder for Indians/Asians to get into top colleges with similar grades, but with AA out the window does it up my chances of a better school.

On uozone it says for classes dropped before 06/04 - A class dropped on or before this date will be retained on your academic record with a status of dropped. Will this appear in my transcript ? Will it affect my application of my future grad school ? Haven't dropped a couse that reatined on my academic record.

I hate how many people do not understand body positivity. I heard many times people saying that its only to support overweight people, because skinny people are not bullied for their weight.
I am severely underweight and I've been bullied for this all my life. Can't count how many times i heard comments like "i wish i had your body, maybe just ma little more fatter" or "are you anorexic? Do you eat anything? Are your parents starving you?" Its super harmful and problems of underweight people are just as valid as overweight people. A month ago i was at the doctors to tell her about the problems i had becouse of the medicine she gave me, and she tried to make me say that it's all because of my weight and cuz I'm anorexic (I'm not, but i was and that made me very emotional and i started crying and shouting). She wouldn't stop and she tried to make me say it over and over again. At some point i couldn't take it anymore and run out of the clinic in tears.
For me people commenting on my body, things they think are nice like "you are so skinny" "your body is amazing" "i wish i looked like you" are the worst. You dont tell a person with cancer that you wish u looked so good bald. I look like that becouse I'm slowly dying, i don't need to hear that you think that it's pretty or cool.
What do you guys think? Do u experience "skinny phobia" (i don't think this term exists) or not? Do u think body positivity should be for everyone or just for overnight People?

Most of the doctors only focus on my weight and dont want to look past that. Only one doctor ever actually tried to find the real couse of my illness. When my mum told him that she is worried becouse of my weight he said "and how do you look like? She's like that after you" and ended the topic. I never felt that comfortable and safe at any other doctors.

I Have bought a HP Elite 600 SFF G9 with an intel i5-12500. I Upgraded to a i7-13700 and it randomly shuts down.
I was checking the supported CPU and the 13700 was on the list for my machine.
I've Proxmox running with 5 VM (one of them is a gameserver instance) and 3 lxc container.
Idle thermals:

• 12500 - 43°C
• 13700 - 64°C

When i start the server and bulk start all vm's, the temp jumps up to >90°C with the 13700, the 12500 stays more or less arround 50°C.
Are the stock cooling solution for the 12500 and 13700 the same? Is there any more Troubleshooting i can do, to find the couse? Is there a potentional upgraded stock cooling solution for the 13700?

So my problem is the following : my tonsil gets inflammed ~4 times a year avg. 8 years ago it happened that every month. That in itself would not bother me. My problem is is that i think it really affects my health/sleep/mood. ( sleep is the worst, because I could sleep always, and even if I sleep 8-10-12 hours, doesnt matter, I still wake up feeling trashed. I will go and see a doctor, and also I will do a sleep analysis, to investigate it properly. Yes I know, I should have surgery, but right now it isnt an option. I cant be recovering for 2 weeks. I am planning to do the surgery at the end of the year.
Question is, is there any method/tips/tricks, to try to mitigate, and try to improve tonsil "health" until then?
Additional info: if someone says other stuff could couse these issues, yes u r right. But I spent my Last 4-5 years doing bloodwrok after bloodwork when i had time. And I mean proper detailed bloodwork. Almost every hormonal panel, and anything which could affect sleep/mood. So the tonsil reason seems reasonable, but still as I said I will do sleep monitoring aswell.
