So i’m an ICU nurse but wanted a side job to replace amazon flex. i have been a waitress for several years prior to nursing and was successful (at applebees, buffalo wild wings, and AMC theater) so i was honestly very excited to get back into it.
my training shifts that were from 11a-4p seemed promising. I had to give the tips to the server training me of course but tips ranged from $10-25 per table consistently for the morning shift. with that i was expecting to be making, at minmum, $100 per shift.
fast forward to now, i've been in the high top/bar section during the evening happy hour on week days and it really hasn’t been worth my time. for the past few nights i’ve been coming home with $50-70. i’m convinced it’s my personality… it has to be? i am on the spectrum so i know i can sound monotoned and flat at times. i try my best to laugh at dad jokes, i always smile, but i can feel that im awkward and normal people pick up on that, i suppose.
mother’s day was the worst. long wait times & a few kitchen errors, angry moms, came home with $65 after seven hours. cried.
so now i’m debating quitting because i’m not driving anywhere to make under $18 an hour. i have my first solo brunch shift scheduled for today & i’m excited to see how it goes but if im still making $50-70 then i’ll know it’s definitely something off putting about me.
i’ve noticed happy hour attracts people who are pressed for cash, i had a very nice mom and daughter yesterday who i had an amazing conversation with & she was honest with me and said she can’t afford to tip. yesterday i also had 3 tables of foreigners (i made the rookie mistake of accepting someone’s request to transfer the table to me) and got $0 each time. the server who transferred the table to me told me they had a caste system and it was on their culture to treat servers poorly and not tip. so idk.
overall so far CCF just doesn’t have the crowd that i expected i’m hoping my morning shift today will be better.
i’m yapping this much because i’m wondering does anyone have a similar experience to mine? is anyone here on the spectrum? and most importantly, should i hang in there or just quit?

So I live in the state of FL and plan to get my bike license, gear, and a bike on the road by end of June. I have my class and my gear, now I’m planning where to get my first bikes.
First off, I plan to get used. I currently have a 2016 Scion FRS as my daily, but that’s getting high on miles(112k), and I’d like to keep the miles low till I can get more work done on it. I also plan to used this bike to UberEats/DoorDash/GrubHub etc.
For my first bike, I’d like a 400cc but I only have 2 friends of mine that have been riders for years and they say just get the 600cc. Regardless of cc, my price range/budget is $5k. I think that’s pretty fair.
Now I need help knowing which is my best option for smaller monthly fees, smaller interest rates etc. (Im 27 and seriously hate how school didn’t teach me how this works)
I’m assuming if I got to a dealership to finance, they will probably give me a good bike deal, but I’ll probably eat it when it comes to fees, interest rates, and my credit is good but they’re gonna hit it when calling banks right? I feel like I’d end up paying more than the value, as usual.
As for getting a personal loan from my bank(Bank of America). I assume I come in, give them my bank info, tell them I want a used bike. And they’re probably approve me for the $5k I’m asking for. And with this, they are the only ones who run my credit, and they’ll give me just one interest fee for the loan. And with the loan, I can go to someone on Facebook market selling a bike and say “I have the 5k cash”…and this way. I get the bike, the person has their cash in hand, and I only make one monthly payment to my bank for the personal loan of 5k…right?

Hey guys and gals, I’ve got an interview today for an AE role that would be responsible for east of Mississippi - very grass field at this point.
I have 10 years of selling to Ed, I have contacts at fed level and some in higher ed, but not a lot in state/local.
My strategy going into the role is to:

1. Derive a report of all of the agencies that have the highest budgets with the lowest (metric this product solves).
2. leverage my contacts in higher ed to sell to university level (no problem there).
3. Leverage my contacts in local and state contacts initially (onsites) then growing outside my state while also targeting other local and state agencies across the east coast.
4. Leverage other SLED/prev FED deals this company has done, and use them as references for state/local growth.

Is there anything I am missing that an RVP would want to hear outside of this? Obviously we’re sort of past budgeting season for SLED (most purchases happen July/aug/sept with evaluations happening April/may/June.) so coming up with a strategy to sell “during the non buying seasons” would help me stand out a bit.

I was awarded the highest rate of both the daily living and mobility allowance of PIP through tribunal around 18 months ago. This is due to long standing mental health conditions that qualify me as disabled. These conditions have not changed, and at the time I was awarded the claim I was not working, living independently from family/parents, and not undergoing active psychological treatments (ie therapy) - these facts all still remain true. However! My landlord is suddenly selling the house I rent, leaving me in a position that I need to find accommodation that I’m able to afford quickly. Due to this I have naturally considered returning to work an option, as renting privately is a lot easier that way, and I’d be looking to move in with my partner who is self employed with a near full time income.
My question is - because the reasons I would be starting work are not due to my health conditions changing, they would be due to needing to find suitable housing for me, would I need to notify the PIP people that I am working, and if so would this be likely to reduce my allowance?

Here I am again. After getting moms house cleaned up and getting her SSA finally applied for and headed her way, dads business almost closed, and a LITTANY of other things done, (the list is a months long feat I did in 5 weeks), and also caring for mom with dementia. I had signed a POA for mom so I could investigate her bank accounts. I found lots of financial abuse by methadone sister. Haven’t turned her in yet.
On May 2 I was served with a restraining order and notice to vacate my mother’s house by my older billionaire sister. Little sister convinced her I was the bad guy and that I was causing harm, stealing, blah blah. Older sisters emergency guardianship was overturned in court yesterday by a very stern judge who quickly saw through the BS. (Plus I provided the court text messages that both of their entire affidavits were based on lies).
Judge granted me guardianship of the person and granted older sister guardianship of her estate. This is common practice as they do not want people stealing elderly and moving them out of state, stealing their assets. However I can move my mother to Florida now, as she has begged the court and begged me since right after my father passed in February. After 90 days if all is well, the estate is turned back over to us.
I throughout all of it I kept having this vision of sitting with my mom on the boardwalk of the beach by my house and watching the sun come up. In my vision I see myself turning to her and saying “well, mom, we did it.” I kept telling her throughout all of this that it’s going to be okay, we are going to win this. Her attorney ad litem kept telling me the judge is NEVER going to let her go to Florida.
Thats not the way things work apparently. The court was held yesterday in the 200 year old courtroom in a small Texas town square courthouse (no metal detectors, judge wore a cowboy hat) it was RAGING storming, judge just wanted for mom to be happy and be safe and keep her assets safe. After a trial period her estate will be released back to me. LOL judge said, “Everyone will get along and treat each other with respect. EVERYONE. Or we will have another hearing and it will not be fun for you.” Basically, the judge told my abusive older sister that she’s not allowed to abuse me anymore or else.
I so very much appreciate the laws associated with this whole process. Without them people like my younger sister could just strong arm everyone away from the scene, keep mom’s assets and keep neglecting her. Adversely, if I were a person of the quality of my younger sister and lived out of state, I could “steal” my mother with dementia and her assets and take her across state lines making it a very large, very expensive task to recover it all. I appreciate the laws for that reason as well, that could have been a possibility for younger sister if she was feeling flighty. So all in all it was a win. More work involved with of course certificates and bonds required, but mom gets what she wants.
In a few weeks she will be watching sunrises over the Atlantic and petting chihuahuas and gardening with me, making bread. Thank God for that judge. I know I am a week late for teacher appreciation week but due to it this story happened last week I wanted to share this story because it is anti-phobic day (at less I believe so, it could have been yesterday). For contacts I live in the southern states of the USA.
Because of this story I have also decided to make fun fashion for teachers as part of fashion and costume design business, as there is not much out there for teachers that are fun and kid friendly and also nice to wear at anytime.
I was inspired by my mentor teacher who is also a great friend of mine. She was also my art teacher when I was in school. She has been very accepting of my transition and still lets me volunteer in her class room and help with murals around her school. Instand of saying miss or saying she in frount of the kids she uses my pronouns and has the kids call me JP. Its such a great feeling.
So last week well I was volunteering in her class room and a fight started to happen. After talking to the kids, they are elementary students, I found out one of the kids called the other gay. I told her about this and she kept both kids after class to finger out who said it. Once we did she told the other to to back to class well she talked to the one that thought it was okey to say this in a bulling way. How she dealt with kids using the word Gay to bully one another in a really great way that also educated the kids about that when using that word in that is also insulting to people who are LGBT+. To also see they're home room teacher take it serous and give the child a punishment was also great to see. It gives me hope that more teachers will act this way and despite what my country is doing to our community there is HOPE for all of us. It's small acts like this that can make a huge differences.
I know not everyone has great memories of teachers, I know I do, but maybe if a teacher who has been teaching for more then 20 years and a teacher who has been teaching for less then 10 years can deal with things like this in a way that educates kids on what is okey to say. I want to have hope that things are changing for good regardless of my country's leaders and others around the are doing.

So one random day about 2 years ago a random Turkish Facebook account messaged me and started calling me, at first i thought it was some scammer but turned out to be just 2 chicks messing around and i just played along with it. With one of them i just started talking and we kind of clicked, but I've never taken it too seriously, this is the main girl, we'll call her H. To be completely honest i was just a trash guy that felt nothing towards H, however she fell for me and really started caring about me. H sent me nudes, as she said for the first time in her life and she was the initiator of all conversations. Looking back it feels like H always was head over heels in love with me without ever seeing me.
Fast forward about a year and a half, i started gaining a liking towards H as well, we started video calling like every evening. She would get mad when i chose gaming with the boys or going out and not gave time to her, it was really wholesome and one evening she surprised me, she told me that she got accepted into an Erasmus program in Italy, she was finally coming to Europe and we can meet each other. Honestly - I didn't believe that we would ever meet at first, but i started asking her around about her past relationships just feeling out her.
So allegedly H had one past relationship with a Spanish guy it was long distance as well, we'll call him M. She was madly in love with him, they've met in Istanbul once, only had two "very romantical kisses" and nothing else, yes she's still a virgin. That relationship ended abruptly when M's brother found out about that and apparently M was engaged and had a fiancé. H was absolutely heart broken, M's brother called her, started calling her names and told her the full story. She felt betrayed, lost and fell into a deep depression. This is a year before me and her started talking at all.
She came to Italy, everything was fine, she'd tell me about all the people she would meet, tell me about guys that were into her, honestly nothing out of the ordinary, because she is really beautiful and has this calm and collected aura around her. But what bothered me - she would tell me when she found guys handsome. The weird things started happening from then on, since she was Muslim in Italy was the first time she tried alcohol and there were a couple of club nights where she got so wasted she couldn't remember the night before, but she was always with a friend of hers that i trusted and that knew about our relationship, lets call her B.
There was one time that she went out to the club with her student friends and an incident happened - a guy left a hickey on her neck. She told me that while crying the next morning and she told me that it was abrupt and she didn't realize that that was happening, allegedly she was just dancing in the club with him, not romantically she said and he just went in for it from behind her. Allegedly she pulled him off with B and B told him "she's not a girl like that". H came out to me, told me everything about it, i trusted in her that that was a dumb mistake.(Remembering this now kind of makes me feel mad for not giving this that much thought)
Everything turned out ok, we continued talking, no more incidents happened, i didn't shit on her for that incident and i was happy that she was honest and actually as a person that has been more years in relationships in my life than not - i communicated from the beginning that honesty and truthfulness is my top priority in a partner. Honestly i was even a little snake in terms of that i never told her anything i didn't like that she said from the fear that she would close up. So i don't think i created an atmosphere where there would be a motive to keep any secrets, no matter what happened.
We continued talking and H kept pushing me to come to Italy and i will admit - that was way beyond my comfort zone, i told her that i would and that i need time to organize things. Things took a while and eventually she said "i'm sick of waiting, i'm coming to Lithuania myself". And guess what, she bought the tickets with a weeks notice for me. She was coming with her friend B that i had to drive to Latvia for her to meet up with her other friends. Basically after day 2 there would only be the 2 of us left, just me and H.
The day comes and i drive to pick them up from the airport i was anxious and nervous as shit. She comes out of the airport running to me, hugged me for a long time and it felt good. That's when i realized that i really like this girl. But i still have my doubts, i still think of the different cultures, how would she talk to my mother if we ever get married, what culture would our children be, how would i talk to her parents? Basically i didn't see long term viable at that point, in this i'm a piece of shit, because she was in this state of delusion that i'm her everything and i'm her last man ever.
So we live together for that week, we have good adventures, i show her and her friend around the city, outside of the city, they love everything, they're super happy. At night me and H are in the same bed, we kiss and it gets naughty, but at the back of my head i have this guilt of not seeing a future with H, so i don't commit to taking her virginity and we play around with everything around it and she was passionate as shit.
The time i spent with her was very lovely, it was honestly so refreshing and it kind of brought a new light for me, i started imagining the future together but still with many doubts. It is time for her to leave, she's clinged on to me, doesn't want to let me go, is really sad that she has to leave, but eventually she does and she has to leave to Berlin to live there.
Everything was fine, one night i went to play pool with a buddy that lives in the UK, for context he used to date a Chinese girl, we got a little drunk and high and i started talking about H, told him all my doubts and he kind of debunked them with his prior relationship. He basically left me feeling like maybe i should commit to H. He outlined that i do have a lot of prior trauma due to having so many relationships, having been cheated on, having been left for other men and basically i have a very thick shield and never let anyone close. That is very true and i knew the answer was to try to commit and so quietly i did.
H went to Germany, first she went to a city where her friend lives, they both had a good time, she sent me snaps and kept me updated, it was really nice, we continued calling each other. Now this is where the situation started, when she took the train to Berlin, she came in on Monday. She lived in some sort of camp seemed like, she disappeared for that day, in the evening she tried calling me and i called back in an hour. She looked normal to me and i tried asking her what did you do that day. At first she changed the topic, then i asked again - she said they went on a group trip, it was super fun. Then i asked again what happened, she told me this strange story about a guy that she called handsome to her friend in Turkish and was talking about him a lot. After a while the guy turned around and answered to them in Turkish, which made her feel really bad. Then i asked another time, what happened next - she said she got blackout drunk and doesn't remember anything....
Hmmmm. You got blackout drunk like a couple hours ago and now you seem normal talking to me... Alright, i got my suspicions up and reminded her that honesty is number one for me, she said she understands and is 100% honest with me.
Alright, the next day rolls around, LITERALLY THE NEXT DAY AFTER HONESTY CONVERSATION, she sends me a snap of her having lunch with her friend and some guy. I don't think much of it and in the evening we video call, i ask her about the day and she doesn't say anything about no guy, that is pretty weird knowing her past honesty. I directly confront her about it and tell her "What are you talking about, you sent me a snap with you and him at the table", she starts pulling all sorts of bullshit and says she only took pictures of food and sent me those pictures. Lo and behold the tables are black glass and there's a reflection of a dude sitting on his phone at the table. At first she start pulling more shit "I don't see anyone, maybe it's a waiter, i don't know what you're talking about" and i tell her stop acting stupid.
She then starts crying and says that she promised a friend to keep that guy's presence there a secret. So i told her that the first mistake i was willing to work through, even though we had a convo literally a day before it. But now this.... I told her that i can't see me trusting her ever again and now she's crying and begging me for days, she gave me all her social media passwords unasked, she said she can delete everything and disappear from everyone's lives except mine. She's basically non stop begging me for forgiveness and saying she'll do anything to fix it and that she will never forget me if she looses me.
She then proceeded to trauma dump me how her father was never present in her life, she never even touched his hand, how she would get beaten by her father side aunts and grandmother, they allegedly kept her starving while her father was not present. They had to hide food because that would get taken away from them and shit. And call me whatever, but at that point, i heard that voice lying though it's teeth, i just did not know what to trust and if this is a manipulation tactic to become a victim.
So this is the part where i need advice, i left it off by saying we'll be friends from now on, we can keep contact and if you ever earn back my trust maybe something will come of it. But I'm very conflicted, i don't know if i can ever trust her again, her behavior after we met turned really shady. What would you do in this situation? AITAH if i leave her?

Marx in Barbieland
In Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie (2023)’, Barbie lives in Barbieland, which is not the ‘real world’. Barbieland is a plastic utopia where every idea of a barbie ever conceived lives as a person. We have a physicist barbie, a physician barbie, a pilot barbie and so on. The protagonist is simply the stereotypical barbie. She is the first barbie ever made whom we shall refer to as Barbie. We also have a barbie in a wheelchair, a fat barbie and a pregnant barbie. But here’s the kicker: in this utopia, we still have a president barbie and a lawyer barbie. This utopia of Barbieland still has courts, court cases and hierarchical governance.
Let’s think about it for a second. Barbieland is a cheerful place where every Barbie has her own home, has infinite supply of food, water and electricity. Some of them have jobs which they enjoy doing and others simply don’t need jobs. All barbies love and support each other except for the weird barbie, who scares them. What are they even arguing about in the court? We never see a police barbie or a soldier barbie, in that case who is upholding the rulings of the court or the laws by the senate? Political power after all flows through the barrel of a gun and there aren’t any guns here.
They all have their own homes, no property disputes. Commodities never expire or get over, hence no production and hence no business disputes. None of them are married, hence no family disputes. There is no money in this world, hence no wage disputes. It is essentially a classless society. Nobody has any reason to go to court against another person. Barbies do not need to steal and there are no murderer barbies.
Despite this, there are courts, lawyers and presidents. The writers must believe that state appartuses are a vital and eternal part of human society. That the state is as necessary to human society as are nurses and cleaners. But is that true? Why do we have these people in the real world whose job is to quell conflicts and maintain order? That is because there exist contradictions in human society. People have opposing interests. More precisely, a nation in today’s world is broadly comprised of two classes who are at odds. Two people sitting across an interview table have opposing interests. One class enjoys higher unemployment since that means cheaper labour while the other is mortified at the thought of losing their livelihood. The state exists to contain the conflict, to keep it in check. It exists to suppress the lower class from revolting or stealing. When you think of a classless society, that tension is gone. That inherent contradiction in the society is gone. Then we should not need a state, a government, courts, the police and the miltary. That’s communism. A classless, moneyless and stateless society.
If Barbieland has state machinery, it should also have a suppressed class. Can it be the kens? I did not mention the kens. The kens are counter-parts to each barbie. They are always at the beach and don’t have special jobs. They are essentially ‘himbos’. The barbies are so busy in their parties that they are not even aware of whether kens have a place to sleep. However, the kens do have voting rights, which they do not apparently exercise. In the opening scene where we see a lawyer barbie make an outstanding speech at the court, we see one ken amongst dozens of barbies. The barbies’ applause at the lawyer’s speech and in general a unity can signify a class unity over the lower ken class.
When Ken travels to the real world and finds that the downtrodden people like kens in Barbieland can actually run the world and do whatever they please; he takes the masculine manifesto with him to Barbieland, unites the other kens in overthrowing the feminine rule and establishing a Kendom where Barbieland once stood.
When Barbie returns to now Kenland, she discovers that the lower ken class has seized the previous owners’ private property such as their dream houses in an apparent revolution and made servants out of the barbies. Then conspiring with two humans, Barbie and the weird barbie make a plan for a coup d’etat. They use two tactics of the ruling classes to achieve this: sowing hatred and division, and voter suppression. They are able to form a majority at the senate and everything magically goes back to normal. Later we see a ken asking whether he can be made a part of the new government, the barbie president tells him that he can have a small administrative role in a corner somewhere.
If you reverse the genders for a bit, it makes a little sense. In a final scene, Ken struggles to know who he is if not attached to Barbie. He has always seen himself through her gaze and does not know how to exist as an independent person. He decides to finally be free from that shackle and find himself along with all the other kens. Barbie on the other hand decides to be a mother. It makes sense because ‘Man’ has been running the world, and ‘woman’ is a secondary gender who is written by men. Women must find themselves not as wo-men but as independent entities, and more men should be able to take up fatherhood as an occupation. But this interpretation may be quite a reach.
What prompted me to write this essay was that the filmmakers could not imagine a utopia without courts and presidents. Who wants to be ruled and governed in their fantasy? You might say that since the president barbie was made by Mattel in the real world, she should also exist in Barbieland and that is why the filmmakers put her there. However, Mattel also gives jobs to kens and they don’t really exist in the movie, so the status quo enforcing barbie was entirely optional for Gerwig.

So one random day about 2 years ago a random Turkish Facebook account messaged me and started calling me, at first i thought it was some scammer but turned out to be just 2 chicks messing around and i just played along with it. To be completely honest i was just a trash guy that felt nothing towards H, however she fell for me and really started caring about me. H sent me nudes, as she said for the first time in her life and she was the initiator of all conversations. Looking back it feels like H always was head over heels in love with me without ever seeing me.
Fast forward about a year and a half, i started gaining a liking towards H as well, we started video calling like every evening. She would get mad when i chose gaming with the boys or going out and not gave time to her, it was really wholesome and one evening she surprised me, she told me that she got accepted into an Erasmus program in Italy, she was finally coming to Europe and we can meet each other. So allegedly H had one past relationship with a Spanish guy it was long distance as well, we'll call him M. She was madly in love with him, they've met in Istanbul once, only had two "very romantical kisses" and nothing else, yes she's still a virgin. That relationship ended abruptly when M's brother found out about that and apparently M was engaged and had a fiancé. H was absolutely heart broken, M's brother called her, started calling her names and told her the full story. She felt betrayed, lost and fell into a deep depression. This is a year before me and her started talking at all.
She came to Italy, everything was fine, she'd tell me about all the people she would meet, tell me about guys that were into her, honestly nothing out of the ordinary, because she is really beautiful and has this calm and collected aura around her. But what bothered me - she would tell me when she found guys handsome. The weird things started happening from then on, since she was Muslim in Italy was the first time she tried alcohol and there were a couple of club nights where she got so wasted she couldn't remember the night before, but she was always with a friend of hers that i trusted and that knew about our relationship, lets call her B.
There was one time that she went out to the club with her student friends and an incident happened - a guy left a hickey on her neck. She told me that while crying the next morning and she told me that it was abrupt and she didn't realize that that was happening, allegedly she was just dancing in the club with him, not romantically she said and he just went in for it from behind her. H came out to me, told me everything about it, i trusted in her that that was a dumb mistake.(Remembering this now kind of makes me feel mad for not giving this that much thought)
Everything turned out ok, we continued talking, no more incidents happened, i didn't shit on her for that incident and i was happy that she was honest and actually as a person that has been more years in relationships in my life than not - i communicated from the beginning that honesty and truthfulness is my top priority in a partner. Honestly i was even a little snake in terms of that i never told her anything i didn't like that she said from the fear that she would close up. So i don't think i created an atmosphere where there would be a motive to keep any secrets, no matter what happened.
We continued talking and H kept pushing me to come to Italy and i will admit - that was way beyond my comfort zone, i told her that i would and that i need time to organize things. Things took a while and eventually she said "i'm sick of waiting, i'm coming to Lithuania myself". And guess what, she bought the tickets with a weeks notice for me. The day comes and i drive to pick them up from the airport i was anxious and nervous as shit. She comes out of the airport running to me, hugged me for a long time and it felt good. That's when i realized that i really like this girl. But i still have my doubts, i still think of the different cultures, how would she talk to my mother if we ever get married, what culture would our children be, how would i talk to her parents? Basically i didn't see long term viable at that point, in this i'm a piece of shit, because she was in this state of delusion that i'm her everything and i'm her last man ever.
So we live together for that week, we have good adventures, i show her and her friend around the city, outside of the city, they love everything, they're super happy. At night me and H are in the same bed, we kiss and it gets naughty, but at the back of my head i have this guilt of not seeing a future with H, so i don't commit to taking her virginity and we play around with everything around it and she was passionate as shit.

4 years ago I found a partial human maxillary (upper jaw) belonging to a 5-11 year old child and the sole of a kid’s shoe in a size that would fit a 6-8 year old on the grounds of an abandoned school in Germany. Both items were sticking out of the ground at the side of an overgrown embankment, though it’s likely they were completely buried at some point and only exposed fairly recently due to wind and rain slowly washing the earth away.
The local police was informed and two very unmotivated patrol officers showed up the next day and took my findings with them, but to this day the property hasn’t been searched for more bones. The police also never released any sort of press statement regarding the matter (wich is pretty much standard practice in Germany in cases like this), and both the local department as well as the LKA (state police) refuse to give out information.
A few weeks later I found a rib, a vertebrae, some leather straps and little metal clasp in the same area. I brought that stuff to the station, but again nothing happened.
I did some research and found out that the shoe was a type of cheap sneaker for indoor sports education sold in the GDDDR from the 1960s to the late 1980s; I even found the factory where this specific pair was manufactured, but unfortunately I couldn’t find a more detailed production date. The metal clasp and leather straps likely belonged to a bag used by GDR school children to carry their lunch.

My knowledge of ORAS peaked around the time Mega-Sableye was banned to Ubers. After Sableye was gone, Mega-Metagross was considered #1 and almost banned (but survived in gen 6). Looking forward from 2016 (after I left gen 6 OU), it appears Mega-Lopunny is now considered the #1 mega in Gen 6 OU. Even Diancie, Medicham, and even Scizor are rated higher than Metagross. I don't deny those pokemon were really good back in late 2016 (magic bounce op, pure power wrecks stuff with HJK, u-turn scizor) but what happened to Metagross? It was supposed to be the best due to steel typing, decently fast (110 speed outspeeds Medicham when both are megaed. Although yes, Medicham outspeeds the turn both mega), and decently strong enough to 2 shot most pokemon.
Is Mega-Lopunny only #1 because Slowbro resists both stabs? I didn't do any calcs but I don't think Lopunny can OHKO metagross while Metagross one shots back with Zen Headbutt? Metagross can also beat up clefable (the true #1 pokemon) although it cannot freely switch in against fire blast clefable. Was it due to ferrothorn resisting Metagross STAB? Is it due to Weavile that Lopunny only benefits while Metagross has to be cautious?
It's interesting how I remembered Mega-Metagross being #1, having one of the highest OU BST, and almost banned while Lopunny was nowhere close to a ban discussion is so much different than what actually happened even as early as February 2017. So, what happened?

Full disclosure: I don't know how to test item stats in practice mode. With Serylda's nerfed a few patches ago and with LDR nerfed this patch, I think BC is more viable than ever. It only takes five hits to stack up to 30% armor reduction and everyone on your team can benefit from it. BC also gives +55 AD and +20 AH, both of which are useful for Ezreal, and the added health gives Ezreal slightly more durability combined with Shojin and maybe FH or Titanic Hydra.
Globally, across all ranks, BC only has a 0.14% pick rate while sitting at a 54.66% win rate at the moment. SG is kind of not good in its current state and LDR without Giant Slayer is also not optimal for Ezreal.
