Here are my ideas for the deep north and what I think it will be like
It’ll be similar to the Ashlands, where it will most likely be cut off from the sea and you’ll have to sail there, you’ll have to navigate icebergs, big and small and once you land there you’ll have to deal with cracks in the ice that you’ll have to navigate or create platforms to get across from place to place however, these gaps are not large, and can be jumped across with some difficulty but some gaps will need to be crossed using other methods of which there are many, similar to the lava, you will not want to enter the frigid cold waters of the deep north. There will be large mountainous terrain, large portions of flat land similar to the Plains, large rocks similar to the mist lands, combining a lot of aspects from multiple biomes and a lot of stuff, they’ve learned from the previous biomes when making the game to create this final one, because it has to be different from anything else and not just like the mountains.
The storms will be dangerous because it will slow you down and you won’t be able to see much because of the snowstorm Very similar to the mist in the mist lands, there will be portions of the land in the deep north that will have deep snow similar to the water in the swamp, which will make your movements sluggish, and if you go deep enough in the deep snow, you won’t be able to attack properly or at all if too deep.
I feel like in the deep north there will be even more worship for a god or something or someone then other biomes like the Ashlands had so for that reason, I think will see a lot of temples and ruins of worship as well
I personally think the boss will be different than any other boss we’ve fought before and for that reason, I think it will most likely be a serpent of some kind, and the mechanics, for it will use a similar item to the balsalt bomb To create new platforms to stand on, that the boss will break, however if the boss runs into enough of these platforms that you create, it will be stunned allowing for Melee, which is what it will be weak against the most, and it will be resistant to Pierce so that it is possible to kill it with ranged attacks, but it won’t be the most fast or effective way and you’ll want to use the mechanics of stunning it to take it down quicker.
It’ll have attacks which include ranged attacks, A whirlpool attack, charging attacks, wave attacks to knock you off your platform into the water, where you would end up getting damaged if you stay long enough in it and a frost debuff 5sec even if you get out quickly.
New accessory Belt of Eternal Emerald Flame craft by using the megingjord & the new boss item from the Ashland to keep you warm in the deep north without it, you freeze to death, it’ll be similar to the strength belt already in the game but you’ll be able to upgrade it later by unlocking a new crafting upgrade for the black forge in the deep north by using the gems to add new powers based on your Play style.
The blood gem will give you increased defense the lower your health is by 0.2%
Ancient lords belt The jade gem I will give you 100% stamina regen when you apply a Immobilized affect
Storm lords belt The lightning gem Will give you 100% eitr regen during storms, add an additional 25% to all lightning damage
Two new gems will be added an ice and a fire one
The fire gem based around attack speed and fire damage related
Ice gem based around preserving and extending the durations of buffs and ice damage related
They will add in new weapons to fill out the rest of the weapon categories that do not have gem upgrades like the atgeir, battle axes, knives, Shields and sledgehammers
which will add 20 new weapons plus an additional 4 New shields and another additional 14 new fire, and ice gemmed weapons for the previous category of weapon types from Ashland, which is not counting any new staffs or individual new weapons
They will add one brand, new armor set, but add in customized upgraded variants for the deep north armor and variants the three armor sets from the Ashland similar to the gem upgrading to provide players with more variation in their place style and builds and cool new looks
The blood gem armor set Will provide an additional 15 base health, her blood armor piece, and if wearing a full set, will bump it up to 25+ base health per armor piece
The jade gem armor set will provide a similar 15 additional base stamina, and with a full set being 25+ base stamina per piece
The lolite gem armor set will provide a similar 15 additional base eitr and increasing it to 25+ base eitr with a full set
The fire gem armor set provides a increased attack speed at the cost of increased calories giving a 5% increase to attack speed And if wearing a full set, will give you a 8.33% increase to attack speed, but will consume your food at twice the normal speed meaning your food duration is cut in half
The ice gem armor set provides a chilled slower metabolism, allowing you to maintain longer durations for your food and a longer rested buff increasing by 25% per piece and 33% for a full set
A new resource that must be harvested however, it is encased in a very thick durable layer of ice and I must be broken with a new siege weapon a flamethrower, Or if you were lucky enough to get dyrnwyn it’ll be slightly less effective at melting ice, or if you have a staff of embers, which will be the least effective method at clearing the ice.
They will also be new fortresses to conquer in the deep north which will require any of the previous siege weapons however, the new flamethrower will be more effective at breaking down specific areas of the fortress that are more weak to fire, allowing for quicker entry to the fortress, these new fortresses will have a dungeon inside them as well, more akin to a temple
There will be the Dvergr outposts there as well, holding some of the new resources
New enemies: ice golem ( slightly larger, with more variety of attacks, including a wave of ice spikes, shooting ice spikes)
Freezling spiders made of what looks to be a hard like Crystaline ice and it’s cold to the touch, they’re the size of a neck, and will run away unless attacked or approached closely enough(similar to boars), and a queen mini boss providing you their eggs, so you can breed them to Farm their silk
iceling (similar to surtlings),
woolly lox(slightly bigger and fluffier with horns, spawning in families pairs of 2-5 with a minimum of 1 parent and 1 baby, and a maximum of 2 parent and 3 babies)
The chilled(similar to the charred but they look like frozen heavily armored Draugr but move much slower, but are capable of very fast bursts of speed to catch you off guard with more erratic movements, making them more unpredictable, also able to phase out into particles of snow, and then reappear closer to you ready to attack) Variants include a great sword and great shield commander variant, A crossbow variant, and a standard battle axe variant.
The commander can rally his troops that are at 20% Hp to provide healing similar to the gray dwarf shaman, but is capable of being interrupted, if hit hard enough resulting in low morale debuff to his troops, reducing their damage, and attacking less frequently by 25%
Phantoms (similar to ghosts and wraiths but more dangerous wielding a sword and capable of magic, however have a weakness they guard their remains slightly below the ground, if located using the wishbone and unearthing their remains allowing for an easy kill)
A new Miniboss providing you with a new tame being the woolly lox. The Miniboss will be a alpha version of the woolly lox where you enter a ruined building It was using as its home to gain access to its children and new food, which can be tamed so you can start breeding them, and a rare new plantable food frost berries that the alpha woolly lox left to feed her kids, which you can now plant to now used to tame other baby woolly lox aswell and cooking recipes, and you can also milk your woolly lox’s too
A new serpent, based off the hatchlings of the new boss serpent similar to the Drake hatchlings of Moder which will roam the seas of the deep north
Adolescent Drake hatchlings about 2 to 3 times bigger than the ones you seen the mountain and are also the children of moder but have grown up more and have moved to the deep north, they can also land on the ground and do attacks similar to moder
A new food resource that you mine: salt
New lighting options using each of the gems also a variety of candles,
A new king size bed,
A new chest providing one extra row on the bottom, or being the same storage size as a black metal chest but smaller allowing for more to be placed in a similar area,
A new chair,
A new bench and throne,
A new table,
more color variety for banners with more colors and shapes,
three new rugs woolly lox rug, chilled fortress rug, ????,
more gold decorations to bling bling up your base,
New shotgun staffs for each element,
New pots or vases,
More flametal building pieces like a smaller door and variants of all the grausten pillars and beams,
New spike walls,
New foods,
New potions,
New arrows
A new portal that allows for the transportation of tames,
New ornaments to put on your buildings, new ones preferably made of metal
A new smaller windmill that doesn’t have to be outside that uses dvergr Technology to run without needing wind, and is able to hold more barley

Last night I finally completed honour mode for the first time! It was my third playthrough of the game after two successful tactician runs (good but blind Tav run and full tilt evil durge run), and it went excellently. I've been a 5e forever DM for a long time so this game has been an -absolute- blessing! I started this run mid February but had to take about a 6 week break or so right after Act 2 due to some real life commitments.
The only content I skipped was the owlbear fight because I didn't want to break my oath, and the Baldur's Mouth Gazette quest because I honestly just forgot about it.
Party comp:

• Tav, wood elf, 12 Ancients Paladin with the Giantslayer, GWM, Alert, and Savage Attacker. Used STR elixirs after getting the Amulet of Greater Health, so I dumped STR and CON so I could have DEX and CHA. Multi attribute builds are tough to optimize. Strongly considered multi-classing, but my damage was always good and I liked the auras.
  
• Karlach, 8 OH Monk with Tavern Brawler, 4 Thief. I used STR elixirs. Honestly she was the key to this successful run. She was unstoppable. Used tons of soul coins.
  
• Wyll, the 11/1 fire acuity sorc-lock build. Amazing build, every bit as strong as BG3Builds suggests. He even got the extra CHA +1 from the mirror of loss!
  
• Jaheira, 12 Swords Bard with the helmet of arcane acuity, band of mystic scoundrel, sharpshooter, and the Deadshot. Also insanely good with special arrows and command/counterspell from magical secrets. (Was Lae'zel, then Halsin before Jaheira was recruited). Tried both 10/1/1 and 10/2 swords bard builds, but I ended up finding 12 in bard suited me best for the acuity playstyle. I think I'd have rather taken Sanctuary over Command looking back though.
  

This party was overkill. Most encounters were over in 2-3 rounds, so having 2 sources of acuity CC was unnecessary. Wyll would usually just end up blasting as I found acuity easier to abuse with ranged flourishes and the mystic scoundrel ring. After the first round of monk and paladin attacks, arrow of many targets/flourishes, and a chain lightning, there weren't many enemies left to lock down with command/hold.
STR elixirs were not hard to come by. I thought they would be an annoying thing to keep up with, especially since Ethel had already left the grove by the time I made the decision to use them. I didn't need to farm at all, just checked in with vendors for pots/fingers as often as I could. Had both Tav and Karlach using them by the end and still had 7 in my inventory when I fought the brain.
I had a hireling cleric cast heroes feast and level 5 aid every morning once I got into the Elf Song, but didn't mess around with any other camp casting setups.
There were only two encounters where I thought I was going to lose my run:
- The Gnolls attacking the Zhents in the cave in act 1. I hit this encounter at level 4. The hunters that get three attacks got a ton of crits on me and downed Tav and Karlach super quickly, and brought Wyll down to critical. I had to have Wyll keep them occupied while Lae'zel used her super jump to get out of there and flee to camp.
- Haarlep. Not Haarlep himself, but the imps! Karlach and Jaheira got yeeted out the window by eldritch blasts, then Wyll got hit with dominate person. It was just Tav left standing. From a full health/resources party to just Tav in one round. Fortunately between Balduran's helm, the armour of persistence, and haste off the darkfire shortbow, I held it together until Wyll came back to his senses and we pulled through.
Regarding companions, NPCs, and quests:
- All companions got their good ending, all alive. Orpheus became illithid and told Lae'zel to carry on his mission. Karlach (romance), Wyll, and I went to Avernus. Gale was not sacrificed, Shadowheart saved her parents, Astarion is leading the spawn, Minsc, Boo, Halsin, and Jaheira are doing their thing.
- I think I messed up knocking out Minthara, it was pre patch 6 when I did the goblin camp.
- No tadpoles were consumed by any party member (except to cure Lae'zel's failed Zaith'isk rolls debuff). I only broke my oath twice. Once to rescue Lae'zel immediately after the Nautiloid, second when letting the vampire spawn go free.
- Managed to save every person in the Iron Throne, though significantly fewer Gondians made it out of the Steel Watch Foundry.
- No bhaalist armour, no shar's spear, no strength potion from Araj, no hag's hair, no vendor exploits (including donating for approval while level 1), Withers was the only pickpocket victim, and I never force closed the game, etc... I did get mirror of loss buffs on the party though, even respec'ed the whole party into high int rogues to ensure it. I've done many of these things on my two other playthroughs, and certainly don't mean to imply anything bad about them. It's just not how this run worked out for me.
Several of my favourite NPCs died unfortunately...
- For some reason I didn't get an option to tell the owlbear cub to come with me, and the goblins killed him.
- Rolan was crit twice and killed from full health by the only myrmidon left standing after I unloaded on Lorroakan's crew.
- Scratch was killed by a shadow that came out of the Necromancy of Thay after I destroyed it. Almost quit the run after this. I've read so many stories of people messing up in camp and it ruining their run, yet I still decided a hotel room was the best place to cast sunbeam on a cursed book.
- Hope was blown away by Raphael on his first turn, before she got to go. I was miffed to miss the gloves of soul catching the first time I've had a monk in my main party.
My biggest tip for honour mode is to prioritize high initiative. Alert is great, but getting to +5/6 initiative is usually enough, and it can be done through items and a starting +2/3 DEX modifier rather than using a feat. The Sentinel Shield, Hellrider Longbow, Mask of Soul Perception, and Bow of Awareness were all I needed to have my party clumped at the top of the initiative. Though if you're doing a good run, have a +7 or higher initiative character with access to sanctuary in your party at all times to protect NPCs. For example, I'd have taken sanctuary over command from magical secrets on Jaheira if I could go back. Wyll already could command CC enemies, and hold person/monster with acuity is preferable with a paladin in the party to set up crits.
Now that I've got my golden dice, I'm about to start another durge run (redemption this time) and do all the risky and silly sub optimal strategies now that I can save scum again!

Hey all. I started playing Stardew Valley about 2 years ago and initially I was playing on a farm with my husband but I ended up getting so into the game that I started a new farm on my own and have been playing there ever since. My farm progression was....chaotic, for lack of a better word; I wasn't following any Min/Max or Super Optimized methods.
With the 1.6 update out, I want to take some time to tidy up my farm, refocus on some end game money making methods, and just bring in some order. I don't want to go super crazy though; just tuning in the efficiency a bit.
Farm Information (all of this is pre 1.6):

• Fall 28, Year 4. Had 100% perfection. Skills are; Tiller, Artisan, Miner, Prospector, Gatherer, Botanist, Fisher, Angler, Fighter, Defender.
  
• House was fully upgraded + have Krobus as roommate. Greenhouse is repaired and currently has fruit trees, blueberries and strawberries.
  
• 1 Deluxe barn of pigs, 1 Deluxe barn of goat, cows, and 1 Ostrich, 1 Deluxe coop of chickens, ducks, a rabbit and a dinosaur.
  
• Slime hutch.
  
• Unlocked Ginger Island, have all Golden Walnuts, completed all quests on the island. Currently growing Ancient Fruit. Leo is living near Linus.
  
• Setting aside marriage, the arcade games, and some of the Qi weekly quests, I think I had pretty much 100% the game. I caught all the fish, cooked all the foods, crafted all the things, found all of wallet items, the Community Center and Movie theater are built.
  

The main few ways of making money was turning Truffles into Oil, making Ancient Fruit Wine. Was also doing a little bit of farming (mostly to stock myself up for cooking/quests/etc) and processing eggs into Mayo. I've been keeping the cheese because...reasons. I've also been utilizing Preserves Jars for Salmon/Black Berries.
Any advice on how I can make my farm more efficient would be greatly appreciated.

Introduction
Hello, my name is Inkh-Su (인수). I have been roleplaying since 2009 and started playing D&D 2018. I am hoping that you will be interested in my homebrew world of Myhrr. It is a work of consistent passion. I have passed 50 pages of content and have handcrafted over 30 explorable cities, tile-by-tile.
Myhrr is a living world developed by the DM, and a story lead by the players.
I prefer players who want to emotionally invest in NPCs, their party members, and their own characters. My aim is to naturally draw characters together into an interweaving story of relationships, action, and heroism.
My five main inspirations are The Books of Magic, Berserk, Merlin, Odin Sphere & The Last Unicorn.
I adhere to rules that maximize your exploration and sense of curiosity. I don't try to predict players, I just adapt to their actions. I study player strengths & weaknesses to spotlight them and write a balanced story. Depending on backstory, I grant geographical, social, and historical information.
Much of the world is a medieval, war-torn, feudalist place that has just found a respite from war. Power wavers with uncertainty, under the constant threat that war will return. Nobles attempt to secure peace alongside bloodstained battlegrounds. Royalty seizes power by sword, flame, accusation and subterfuge.
Whilst the faith in currency is unshaken, Trade is unstable. Promises are rare. The hunt of witches, warlocks, wizards and druids is ceaseless in a war against the unholy forces of magic and devilry.
Myhrr is plagued with economic inequality and xenophobia. Whilst half-orcs, tieflings, and goblins are capable of citizenship they are treated as second class citizens. Faced with the constant truths of their loathsome origins, demonic history, and biological differences they find little respite among other races.
Where half/elves are constantly bombarded with opportunity, these marginalized races find none.
Dungeons in the world are difficult to find. One requires research of the hundreds of books in the world, or a quick tongue and a fast blade, to take such information. Yet there are riches, power, and secrets hidden away behind the abominations of the deep and the traps that lay within. Those who seek answers in the hidden places of the world are at true risk of death or worse.
Think fast or die, traps don't wait and neither do monsters.
The core of every event lies a mystery. A quandary of history, social intrigue and chasing after evidence. Ancient secrets, political dealings, and criminal ones. The world's history is extensive but only a player who wishes to know the lore of the world will discover it.
One of the things I'm proud of in my game are its people. I've been roleplaying for over a decade and believe that every NPC will have more depth than any player will care about. Ingrained into the world and its culture; they have fears, desires and interact with an intelligence befitting of their environment.
Magic comes with a constant emotional and social contract. Only four classes are considered magical. Sorcerer, Druid, Warlock, and Wizard. All other classes use non-magical flavored versions of their spells. Each class uses magic uniquely, yet none of it is as reliable as sword or bow. Magic, no matter it's origin, has a will of its own.
Most cultures believe sorcery, druidry, and wizardry to be witchcraft.
Sorcerers do not have control over their innate power without having control over their own hearts. Druids must build a true relationship with nature and balance. Warlocks are required to debate and negotiate with cruel devils. Wizards are mysterious and grow in power as they follow a path of wonder.
The world has several holidays and I'd love to watch your character celebrate too.
Finally, the game is played with a flowing system of time. Time moves regardless of what your character is or isn't doing. Players who act quickly, describe their actions, act their dialogue and invest their hearts will quickly find themselves escaping the arm of mere RAW rules and mechanics.
I am rewarded by players who will sit after a game and theorize about NPCs, History and Intentions and have plans on how they want to act on the world. Reactive players are alright, but players who develop a judgment and work to act on that judgment are rewarded.
I am also rewarded by characters who act on and with emotionality to NPCs and with each other. My favorite moments are listening to the building moment of character clashes and support when they make discoveries that reveal pieces of themselves and each other.

Hey there. I was wondering what tips y'all have on farming gold & emeralds. I have a diamond pickaxe I been trying to reroll to stack prospector on but keep running out of gold because the cost keeps going up each re-roll.
Is there a better way to run ancient hunts to get more gold?
Should I be hunting better or different gear to stack prospector?

In the context of multi PKing, the updated chaos temple is an awesome location mechanically and it promotes organic wilderness activity in a positive way.
What do I mean by that?
Previously, the chaos temple had very little activity, only serving as a place to complete chaos druid wildy slayer tasks, training melee with a chainmace, or simply as a teleport location. It was a relatively safe but dead area as it offered no reward.
Now, the addition of Zombie Pirates and how accessible it is to farm them attracts players and bots, which attracts noob pkers looking to kill those players/bots, which attracts multi clans looking to kill those players, which attracts other multi clans to fight and create a war.
This multi pk spot differs from other multi pk spots through:

1. Existing in low wilderness levels (7-14).

This promotes diversity in PK accounts as each PK build (pures/zerks/meds/mains) can only fight others with similar combat levels. Fighting at high wilderness levels, like Rogues Castle or callisto/venenatis/vetion means that mains and meds will have a huge advantage. Providing another location for different PK builds inherently promotes activity.

1. The Chaos Druids now teleblock you.

The disadvantage of existing in below 20-30 wilderness meant you could teleport out at any moment. But when the option to run away isn’t on the table anymore, YOU HAVE TO FIGHT. No more tabbing when you’re piled by 4 people; you have to tank now. Real fights are promoted here. NPC teleblocks also mean that more players will be using Ancients vs standards, which is more fun (nobody actually likes tbing) and demands greater awareness and positioning from all players involved.
This location is super active right now and finding other teams to fight here is relatively quick. Thanks to the team at Jagex for the fun update!

Been seeing a number of stuff we hope to see in Wilds posts, and thought it'd be cool to specifically discuss how we want to see items designed/balanced. This includes functionalities, whether its a "permanent" (like whetstones and pickaxes in gen 5) or not, or other aspects of items themselves, as well as related features such as restocks, supplies, combining, the "farms" of various types etc. So yeah, anything related to how items interact with the hunting gameplay loop is fair game.
I'm not including Clutch Claw and Wirebugs here because those discussions seem to have been done to death. Mantles and endemic lives are kinda item-like so maybe they're part of this discussion? I'm fine either way tbh.
Random stuff I'll start with:

• I like the permanent whetstone + consumable "better" whetstone format in gen 5. Encourages a bit of farming and preparation with proper reward in combat, but you can also build to circumvent this (Quick Sharpen). This felt more engaging as it added a bit of element of choice, rather than the required 1-slot upkeep for any blademaster in old gen.
  
• Nerf Max/Ancient potion consumption speed. They seriously make Mega potion pretty redundant in gen 5, especially so in World. On a related note, Mega pot probably should be somewhere in between World and Rise - keep the instant + slow heal format, but reduce the instant amount by 20% or so? Or maybe make instant vs. slow heal conditional on how we drink it: if you walk, it's slow, if you stand and, god forbid, flex, it heals instantly.
  
• Possibly controversial, but bring back Combo books. In my recent solo GU G-Rank plays, I've come to appreciate how much the books force me to think about loadouts depending on the monster I'm going to hunt, and a big reason is because wanting to craft means more item slots taken by the materials and some books. Now, 5 books that cumulatively add more percentage is too restrictive for my taste, so a rebalancing is needed, I agree. Maybe you can have specific books for specific stuff, like "Mega pot book" that boosts Mega pot crafting chance, with a Vol. 2 for more powerful items. Point is, this sort of pressure on the item slots can add more engagement, as it can force us to make choices that will affect how we engage the monster(s).
  
• Supply cache like in GU. Maybe a choice between preset ones that only cost points/zenny vs. custom ones that also cost our own items. Obviously means no infinite restock at camp.

Amphitheatre Farmers Market

• The St. Augustine Amphitheatre Farmers Market offers visitors a variety of goods such as local fresh produce, handmade arts and crafts, baked goods, plants directly off the farm, freshly-caught seafood, cheeses, and more. The farmers market makes for a morning of family-friendly fun with live entertainment on select dates.
• In addition to the impressive variety of organic produce offered by local farmers, a number of local artists and craftspeople also display their wares at the market.
• Admission: FREE
• Where: St. Augustine Amphitheatre located at 1340 A1A South St. Augustine, FL 32080.
• When: Every Saturday morning from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.

Yoga in the Garden

• The Lightner Museum hosts Yoga In the Garden on the third Saturday of each month from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
• This yoga session is suitable for all, and each participant should bring a yoga mat or towel and water. An instructor from Serenity Yoga leads the session on the lawn of the Radzinski Family Garden, on the south end of the building. This event is part of Lightner's 75th-anniversary celebration and recalls the days of Henry Flagler's Alcazar Hotel and its well-known spa facilities.
• Admission: This is a donation-based event, and there is no need to register.
• When: On the third Saturday of each month, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
• Where: The Radzinski Family Garden is behind the Lightner Museum at 75 King Street, St. Augustine.
• NOTE: Some dates may need to be rescheduled due to inclement weather.

Huguenot Cemetery Guided Tour

• The Huguenot Cemetery is the oldest non-Catholic cemetery in Florida, having been 'founded' the year that Florida became a territory of the United States. It was a multi-racial, multi-ethnic public burial ground from 1821 to 1884. The Memorial Presbyterian Church has owned the cemetery since 1832.
• The cemetery was first used for the interment of victims of the 1821 yellow fever epidemic and then for the burial of members of the newly arrived Protestant population. The oldest headstone is that of Johann George Happoldt who died August 15, 1821.
• The Huguenot Cemetery is significant because it was one of the first steps to Americanize Florida. The burial traditions and funerary materials expressed at Huguenot are quite different from the nearby Tolomato Cemetery, which had been established by the Catholic Church in 1777. Because of this significance, the Huguenot Cemetery is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
• The Friends of the Huguenot Cemetery, Inc. opens the Huguenot Cemetery to the public on the third Saturday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Docents are on hand to answer questions.
• Admission: Free

• Where: The cemetery is next to the Visitor Information Center in historic downtown at the corner of A1A and Orange Street.

As If! The '90s Fest

• Presented by Ancient City Entertainment, St. Augustine's As If! '90s Fest celebrates the '90s nostalgia craze on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Francis Field.
• The festival supports Ace Alliance, a non-profit organization passionate about entertainment, tourism, and hospitality.
• All the trappings of the '90s will be part of this celebration of the decade, including a fly photo booth and water slide. Food trucks will be on hand at this family-friendly event.
• Everyone is invited to slip their Game Boys in their Starter jacket or their fanny packs and come celebrate the nostalgic '90s at the "As If! The '90s Fest" event. There are three headliners this year:
• Deana Carter. Her debut single, "Strawberry Wine," hit # 1 on the country charts and was the 1997 Song of the Year and Single of the Year.
• Paula Cole. Her hot single, "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone," was nominated for three GRAMMY awards.
• Fastball. This rock band's hit songs include "The Way" and "Out of My Head."
• Local performers include Chillula, Ramona + the Riot, and Julia Gulia.
• Admission: General admission tickets are $30.00 in advance and $40.00 at the door. A limited number of VIP tickets will be sold for $200.00 each.

Vilano Beach Artisan Market

• Vilano Beach Main Street transforms into a vibrant artisan's market from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every third Saturday of the month. Stretching from the junction of A1A and Vilano Road to the Holiday Inn, the sidewalk becomes a showcase for more than 20 vendors, presenting a diverse array of products in booths.
• From captivating artwork to one-of-a-kind home décor, there's something for everyone at this lively outdoor market. Visitors enjoy live local music as they explore a selection of artisan-made goods, including plants, datil pepper sauces, jewelry, pottery, and clothing.
• Adding to the lively atmosphere is a cash bar offering a select variety of fine wines and craft beers, allowing guests to enjoy a stroll, drink in hand. Whether shopping for themselves, seeking souvenirs, or just basking in the St. Augustine sun, guests can soak up the Vilano Beach vibes.

Flo-Arts Students Celebrate Musicals

• FloArts students sing old and new Broadway favorites on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., at the Center for Spiritual Living.
• The Florida School of the Arts in Palatka is Florida's first two-year program offering instruction in dance, theatre, fine arts, theater technology, acting, and musical theatre. On May 18, FloArts students will perform everyone's favorite songs from Broadway's golden age to the present day.
• This event is presented by St. Augustine's Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts.

• Hosted by the St. Augustine Cruisers Car Club, the St. Augustine Cruise-IN is from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month.
• Held at the Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine, activities at the monthly Cruise-IN include music, door prizes, and a 50/50 drawing.
• A family-oriented organization that began in the mid-1990s, the St. Augustine Cruisers Car Club promotes interest in various types of special auto activities, creates good fellowship and sportsmanship among its members, and supports charities.

Romanza Festivale: Luca Ciarla

• The Romanza Festivale presents violinist Luca Ciarla in a free concert on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church Sanctuary.
• Luca Ciarla has performed extensively in classical and jazz concerts and at several world music festivals. His performances blend jazz, classical, and improvisation, and he often adds his vocalization to the music he coaxes out of his acoustic violin.

Amphitheatre Farmers Market

• The St. Augustine Amphitheatre Farmers Market offers visitors a variety of goods such as local fresh produce, handmade arts and crafts, baked goods, plants directly off the farm, freshly-caught seafood, cheeses, and more. Yoga in the Garden

• The Lightner Museum hosts Yoga In the Garden on the third Saturday of each month from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
• This yoga session is suitable for all, and each participant should bring a yoga mat or towel and water. An instructor from Serenity Yoga leads the session on the lawn of the Radzinski Family Garden, on the south end of the building. This event is part of Lightner's 75th-anniversary celebration and recalls the days of Henry Flagler's Alcazar Hotel and its well-known spa facilities.
• Admission: This is a donation-based event, and there is no need to register.
• When: On the third Saturday of each month, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Huguenot Cemetery Guided Tour

• The Huguenot Cemetery is the oldest non-Catholic cemetery in Florida, having been 'founded' the year that Florida became a territory of the United States. It was a multi-racial, multi-ethnic public burial ground from 1821 to 1884. The Memorial Presbyterian Church has owned the cemetery since 1832.
• The cemetery was first used for the interment of victims of the 1821 yellow fever epidemic and then for the burial of members of the newly arrived Protestant population. The oldest headstone is that of Johann George Happoldt who died August 15, 1821.
• The Huguenot Cemetery is significant because it was one of the first steps to Americanize Florida. The burial traditions and funerary materials expressed at Huguenot are quite different from the nearby Tolomato Cemetery, which had been established by the Catholic Church in 1777. Because of this significance, the Huguenot Cemetery is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
• The Friends of the Huguenot Cemetery, Inc. opens the Huguenot Cemetery to the public on the third Saturday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Docents are on hand to answer questions.

As If! The '90s Fest

• The festival supports Ace Alliance, a non-profit organization passionate about entertainment, tourism, and hospitality.
• All the trappings of the '90s will be part of this celebration of the decade, including a fly photo booth and water slide. Food trucks will be on hand at this family-friendly event.

General Notes:

• Sora will be sightseeing the server and mining for diamonds today. She already started and found a good vein of them! She decided after seeing the vein to get her pickaxe updated with Fortune III
• Sora came by to Kaela's Trading Post to get Fortune III and other things. She met with Kaela and the two interacted. Kaela in the meanwhile is working on her villagers. During trading, Kaela sneakily gave Sora some extra Emeralds as she was at the anvil. Not sure if Sora noticed it or not. The other emeralds were used for other weapons/armor.
• Kaela has been busy with lots of things today. She went to the Nether to test out her fire resistance armor (by walking into lava to see how much damage it does, which is not much). She does have fire res potions too to help. She went to hunt for some Ancient Debris. She wants to get at least 20 (enough for a full set + tools). She will have to find a Netherite Template at a Bastion afterwards in order to properly upgrade. Best of luck!
  • EDIT: Kaela did it! She was able to get the stuff and make Netherite armor! Earlier too Kiara had wanted her to get the Netherite Template from her to get some armor (she had originally thought Kaela already had one but turns out she didn't). Kaela didn't want to bring Kiara with her to a bastion in case something bad happened (bad experience with Haachama). Fortunately Kaela was able to go to a bastion and get a template.
  • Also Kaela when talking to
  • Miko accidentally used her Jdon My Bow to repair a random bow and therefore losing it in the process. She told Kaela about what happened and Kaela told her that it would be alright. She then gave her 4 Netherite Templates for her to make her own Netherite Armor, as a way for her to feel Better. Miko now also has Netherite Armor.
• Sora and Miko met up a bit before Miko's stream. Miko told Sora about Lamy and some of the things that happened in the server, along with the plans for the Wither fight today. Miko on her stream has a list of her plan for today.
  • Miko went and got even more Netherite, she gave some to Iroha along with a Netherite Template for Iroha to make her own Netherite Armor (also telling her to make sure to duplicate the template first).
• There's now an ice road, (most likely by Iroha or Kaela), from Kaela's house to Iroha's villagers. Its to make it easier for members to quickly and safely travel between the two places, especially since many members have been going inbetween the two places to trade.
• Since Ina missed yesterday, she's starting a few hours early to catch up and prepare for the wither. She again in MS Paint lays out her plans for today. Ina suspects that she'll be the tank again for The Wither Fight.
• Ina made her own fishing house near the iron farm. She made it so when she fishes the iron can be generated as she fishes.
• Ina and Flare met up in the server. Flare went "Ore no Ina" and then threw her diamonds at her. Ina in surprised couldn't accept a gift so she gave them back. The two proceeded to keep throwing the diamonds back and forth at each other. Eventually Flare went and gave Ina a Potion of Strength and a Golden Apple which Ina accepted. Later on they met again and Flare gave Ina some new boots with better enchantments.
• Kiara went to Kaela's place to upgrade her armor to Netherite. After getting the netherite armor and trims, she wanted to show it off. She went to Pekora to show it to her, though her reaction isn't what she expected. Pekora after reading Kiara's diary actually realized Kiara had netherite armor on, and then asked Kiara to get Netherite for her on stream.
• Anya and Kanade now have a piece of Netherite armor. Each of them have the chestplate.
• A villager moved into Ina's house and became a cleric due to Ina's brewing stations inside. I wonder where the villager came from since the village was empty when people started moving into the houses. Ina trapped the Cleric using Netherack outside of her home.
• After the fight, Kaela and Pekora met up. Pekora asked Kaela where her house was, and Kaela took her over. She showed Pekora the cleric where she can buy Ender Pearls. Pekora also asked Kaela for Netherite but Kaela only had one Netherite Scrap that she gave to Pekora. (Earlier before they went to Kaela's house, Pekora asked and Kaela threathed her with a bow which Pekora responded "its joke"). Kaela also gave Pekora the Netherite Template and said they're best friends now.
  • Pekora went to Aqua and told her about what happened.
• Pekora and Aqua went to the Nether to gather Netherite. They went to where Kiara had been mining for them and continued onward. They are simply strip mining for them. Aqua was able to find 2 already. They found a few before heading back. After they went to gather more materials including TNT, they went back to mine for more Ancient Debris.
  • Pekora actually mentioned she had planned to go to the Ender Dragon fight in only diamond armor, only really getting Ancient Debris for Aqua's sake.
• Polka watched Luna lure pigs to The Farm (Polka and Suisei's farm). However because of the Wither flowers that were planted at the farm, the pigs suffered damage and died.
  • Luna made a tweet saying that she replenished the farm with pigs and chickens.
• Kaela is taking Hajime on a trip into the nether. They went and found Ancient Debris together. Polka watched the two of them for a while.
  • Kaela and Hajime were able to get the Debris they need and get back to the Overworld safely. Kaela asked about Hajime's house and Hajime showed her the house. Its empty and has no roof. They then went to Kaela's house so they can turn the Ancient Debris into Netherite for Hajime.
• It seems like many of the girls are hunting for Ancient Debris to get Netherite after seeing some of the girls today. Current Ancient Debris Hunters: Pekora & Aqua; Hajime & Kaela; Moona; Anya & Kanade (first separate but then together). Koyori joined Anya and Kande in Ancient Debris Hunting too.
• Moona died! While hunting for Ancient Debris in the Nether, some lava fell on her and at that moment, she lost the fire res effect on her, so she died. Polka went to go and find her. Polka and Moona met in the Nether as ghosts.
  • Koyori, Kanade, and Anya went and made a grave for Moona next to the other graves by the portal. Anya wrote R.I.P. Sleep well, Moona"
• Moona decided since she's dead she'll spend the rest of her time commentating on what she sees.
• Koyori and Raden were branch mining separately, and it turns out the two mines were actually pretty close to each other and they both met up. Koyori was actually lost in the mines but Raden ended up finding her by chance. Thanks to Raden's help, Koyori was able to make it out of the mines. Raden is still in the mines hunting for diamonds.
• Ao has been wokring on her own to spruce and clean up the city some more after the destruction of The Wither.
• Iroha and Kaela met up. Iroha asked Kaela if she wanted to go into the Nether to collect Ancient Debris with her. However Kaela had just gotten back from her trip with Hajime and was ready to wrap things up. She told Iroha that she needed to end her stream soon to get some rest (cause she hasnt gotten any sleep since yesterday). Iroha was understanding of it. She went into the mines and met up with Koyori who showed her where to strip mine for Ancient Debris.
  • A little bit after, Hajime and Iroha met up, and the two went to get Ancient Debris together. They're doing it with the strip mining method (with Iroha occasionally using TNT)
• Kanade is now the newest member to be fully decked in Netherite Armor
• Currently Kanade, Iroha, Anya, Hajime, and Koyori are all in the nether gathering ancient debris. Since they're all in the same mine area they can sometimes hear and talk to each other. Iroha has been gathering TNT to help making gathering Ancient Debris a lot faster. Wither Fight Notes:

• Time of Wither Fight: 22:00 JST
• Before the Wither Fight at 21:00 JST the members online will have a meeting to determine the actual location of The Wither Fight. The Meeting is held with Pekora, Kiara, Ina, Kanade, Noel, Botan, Aqua, and Anya.
  • During the meeting Kiara and Ina tell the group their experience in fighting the wither with the EN girls in the Holo Server above ground.
  • Kiara gives a recap of the meeting. Generally they will be fighting it above ground a bit away from the city area. It'll be nearby a village that a few of the girls live at, near the courthouse (Kiara, Anya, and Ina's houses are at most risk of destruction)
  • The Wither will be summoned at the middle of the fighting arena.
• Everyone is busy making preparations, from getting golden apples, to making different potions.
• Everyone is meeting up by the courthouse. Can hear Aqua talking about Miko's armor. Miko, Kiara, and Kaela have a full deck of Netherite Armor
  • Kaela: If the wither comes, ill run. I'll run away and hide
• Members participating in the Wither Fight: Pekora, Kiara, Ina, Kaela, Anya, Noel, Aqua, Botan, Hajime, Moona, Koyori, Ao, Kanade, Miko, Raden
  • Polka will be observing as a ghost
• Ina went to pay her respects at the grave to those who died before this moment. She will bring back the head of her enemies.
• WITHER FIGHT SURVIVED! It went super fast! And no one died. Kiara was tanking a lot of the hits for it! Pekora sees that the Portal got destroyed during the first fight, along with the middle of the arena
• Since it was easy, Pekora now wants the to fight 3 of them. She will spawn them in different locations in the area. Pekora hints they will be located in places where they live.
  • The 3 were Spawned! This time it took a lot longer for all of them to be defeated. Sadly during the fight Iroha died while fighting The Wither, along with the destruction of some houses. Ollie's roof suffered some damage We did lose all the cows and chickens that were at Polka/Suisei's farm. Pekora notes that Iroha can be revived (she does need to do the batsu).
  • Wither flowers were placed in the middle of the two pens in memory. Koyori also placed some flowers like the Sakura Saplings and Sunflowers. The girls are using the dirt that got picked up during the fight to restore the area and clean it back up. And other girls are working to fix some of the damage, like Ina fixing Ollie's house.
  • Noel and Kanade are making a grave in honor of Iroha. Its made of Netherack
• Koyori took one of the Wither Stars and placed it in her house. I dont know where the other Beacon pieces went (There should be 4. 1 From the 1st fight, and 3 from the 2nd fight). Edit: Kaela got 2 of the Stars. The two stars were turned into beacons that are by her house. The beacons are made of diamonds

Collecting Ender Pearls in the Nether Notes:

• Some of the girls are going to go to the Nether to collect enders to make Ender Eye.
  • Members: Kiara, Anya, Noel, Botan, Miko, Hajime, Kanade, Koyori
• Since the portal broke, the girls were trying to light it back up. They kept shooting arrows at it before Miko used a flint to properly light it up
• The girls are able to complete the mission easily with the help of the boat strat. Even if one of the Enderman aggros someone the girls are quickly behind to help out with boats or weapon damage.
• After mission complete a photo of the group was taken.
• On the way back, Kiara and Miko got hit by Piglins cause they forgot to put back on the gold. They were able to survive and make it back home, mission complete!

Civilization had me in a CHOKEHOLD literally lol. I could/would not get rid of it from my LO. It’s just too easy to download one mod that revamps all of the cities(Does a beautiful Job at that) + add new ones.
With that being said, I decided to take the long and tedious route of putting together a mod list from scratch.. a few city overhaul mods that stood out to me while testing are -
Red Bags Solitude (it has a patch for civilization as well, I’m not using civ in this test).
I love the layout of this..It makes the inside of solitude feel like a real bustling great city. As far as the outskirts leading out of the city/to the city..it’s taking some getting used to. I miss the architectural clutteThis IS the Great city of SOLITUDE feeling from civilization. I only felt that way once I left outside of Solitude’s main gate. Besides that 10/10 for me.
The great city of winterhold ( the new one that’s made of stone) I want to try this.. is it compatible with the EEE camp in winterhold?
Jk Interiors
I never really cared for interiors, 9-10 I’m in and out anyway.. but this actually increased the immersion.. still having trouble finding the right placement in my LO. Consistent Crashing in Whiterun walking up to the dragon’s reach door area.

Me and my coworker only came across this by accident. So im gonna start off with how I found everything in order, as best as I can.
I grew up on the edge of Pennypack Park in Philly. The park was our playground. Drinkin and smokin and partyin with friends. Every so often having to run from the cops, watching people fall into “the dip”. We learned the land very well and very quickly. I knew about the Rowland Shovel Factory from old historical records and old pictures of the dams and mills and buildings I had seen over time, and wanted to see if I could find the old foundations of ALL the buildings and structures to hopefully find somethin cool! I knew where they kinda were from knowledge over time along with talkin with old heads while fishin but I really wanted to pinpoint their locations.
Then I remembered Lidar. I searched facebook groups and forums to find out the best way to use it! Then I found a link that allowed me to see exactly where the old foundations were after about a week of snoopin.
Using old photographs, and old maps, and Lidar all along my walk, I was able to find all their locations… but something I found on lidar was never depicted on any old maps,and its there in old photographs.
What I had found was the land made a giant X shape, and the top right and bottom right stems of the X were the locations of the old dams, which both at one point had canals to bypass the dams.
I had recently came across cairns and effigies and snake rock piles and split rocks in my personal curiosity searches online, and it occurred to me that the dams and canals could be ancient, and most likely here before European settlers. The “dip” being one of the canals!
I told my coworker about it, and he found a crazy site on the private land he’s livin on out in Chester County PA! His site is a national treasure of split rocks, snake rock piles, cairns, effigies, and a bunch of carved and engraved rocks. The crick is bordered by 2 snake cairns and all types of sick water features that would be functional if the dam upstream was intact. This area is OLD money mind you. To this day he continues to find more and more there, just at surface level. We’d love to know who to talk to about excavating and preserving it all.
We both realized that: If all the dams and canals along every tributary around here were still intact and functioning properly, the indigenous people wouldn’t have needed to leave.
Instead the mills were built to “cut off” migratory fish, along with trade and transportation The dams would have been perfect for indigenous people to use dip nets, like we know they used to use, and the fish, being able to make it WAY FURTHER upstream would have provided the farm lands that these tributaries would have been able to reach with pleanty of fish for fertilizer in the farms. The farms would also have been perfect places for indigenous people to hunt small and big game, making sense of all the arrowheads found in the plowfields. The dams and canals would have also allowed for trade routes and transportation. They also would have regulated flood waters.
Anyone that still gets grant money is gonna say im crazy, because theres no money in solving the mystery. Just like theres no money in “cures” when it comes to healthcare. I dont value a dollar. If I find $20 mil, everyone close and then some are getting broken off. I also dont believe what some people want me to believe. I was taught to question why someone is telling you something in the first place. Unlearning the BS is hard.
We know the bible was rewritten a bunch if times. Why not history books, too? Theyve been telling us what to believe, supporting a fucked up money hungry, narrative controlling elite that keep ruining our planet because they cant sit in a room alone with their own thoughts and their fragile little egos. Ugh.
Like why do we continue to make more and more plastic and trash, when we know its a fuckin issue?? My “conspiracy theory” would make that make sense, amongst other things.

This is my first post here so I am sorry if this isn't descriptive enough, but I tried to give enough detail.
Growing up in Tennessee on a small farm bordering a forest, I encountered numerous inexplicable events, but one series of occurrences remains a mystery to this day.
Around the age of 12 or 13, I started having recurring dreams set in the forest, a place I frequently visited. In these dreams, I encountered a large black wolf with glowing red eyes. Strangely, each sighting of this wolf preceded a death on the farm within a day or two, typically involving a chicken falling prey to a predator.
During my final dream involving the wolf, a woman's voice accompanied its presence in the forest. I could hear her, but she always remained just out of my line of sight. Though her words are now hazy in my memory, I recall her saying, "Do not fear the wolf," among other things. As the wolf circled me, I didn't feel fear but rather a deep sense of respect for its ancient power.
After that last encounter, I never saw the wolf again, but the dreams felt more vivid than reality. Since then, I've wondered about the identity of the wolf and the woman in the forest. These dreams marked the beginning of my fascination with the paranormal, leading to many more inexplicable experiences. I've often wondered if I connected with a forest spirit or a Native American presence during those encounters.
