Im looking for a roleplay that’s long term. 26 yr female here. I want it to have plot twist, story based, and dark romance, and manipulative, betrayal. Too make it more interesting. I can write 2-4 sentences to a paragraphs to two paragraphs. I expect my partner to write the same amount. It can be detailed but not too detailed. This will be in first person for both parties. Strictly roleplay. No one liners. No incest or anything taboo. So don't even ask.

Salam all, I’m 23, I would say my life is comfortable for me (mentally specifically) so my only reason to marry is for a strong partner, affection, romance, to rely on him (for him to thrive in his masculinity and me femininity) which means I have no interest in marriage if it’s a downgrade from the comfort my family provides الحمد لله, which was the case when my hand is asked. My personal reference: His personality revolves around acting for the sake of allah (actions speak louder than words) and what pleases allah swt not the people and has strong loyalty to his religion and culture (ofc traditions that align with what allah dictated otherwise it’s a red flag) I’m Palestinian so you’ll get why I’m set on culture! Fluent in Arabic and appreciates the language as it is لغة القرآن, works out regularly (above 175cm) and seeks health as a lifestyle as again laziness decreases his masculinity which is unattractive and is committed to the health of a relationship wether it’s deep discussions or dates or weekend holidays. Would prefer to spend the first few years in a foreign country basically for more experiences wether it’s work or travel which will increase the privacy and intimacy of a relationship which is also a plus I would prefer to have one child (negotiable but I like to be clear) and small celebrations to cut on costs (invest them in the relationship not the people) I love to cook and bake! But he’ll clean up after because I’ll be dead tired, I think a man would do it anyways without asking him

firstly, he is my close friend of mine from childhood and i absolutely dont have anything against him. few years back he started to apply in those malicious small loan apps and got scammed and harassed by them since he didnt pay it back and allowed access to his contacts. He maxxed out on slicepay. Now it all started with him asking me small amounts as i had a slicepay account for a rainy day. at first he asked little money like 2k-3k and he paid it back. With time he started to ask more and due to friendship i was in a position to say yes . Now he purchased a car and pretty much does decent for himself . However he again came back to me with a slicepay request for buying a gift to his friends. I do not want to entertain this more as i truly care for him and i dont want him to get into the habit of getting debts and rotating the money. if i say yes now, he will come back again soon with a request. i want him to have a proper financial habits and dont want him to go to all the other friends. if it is an health emergency for him or his family i would not hesitate to give . but buying a gift by getting debt is not cool. So 1 year ago my partner and I moved into a flat that had been vacant for some time. After purchasing we noticed a load of letters from Scottish power to previous tenants and owneoccupier about outstanding bills. We called them and resolved this and told them we were now with octopus energy and all seemed fine.
However, over the past year we've received letters about outstanding charges until recently they said it'd been passed to debt collectors. After this we called them again and asked why this would be happening since there's literally no gas to the property anymore, so how can we be charged for it?
They're now saying that since the gas meter is still there, we will be charged for the 'ownership' of that metre and will be paying standing charges for something we don't even use and didn't even know was still there.
My question is, are they allowed to do this? Do we have to pay them for something we don't use and weren't aware existed? From the letters it always seemed like these were for previous tenants as they hadn't been paying their bill so are we now responsible since we took over?

This line of thought actually stemmed from a science fiction novel. I can't even remember what it was called now. I didn't like it and I don't think it was ever very popular. The premise was that a meteor storm was going to hit earth and there were various projects to preserve humanity. The project at the focus of the book 'saved' people by re-creating their consciousness inside a computer. I hated it. The process involved 'uploading' consciousness into the computer then the people that were uploaded took poison to kill themselves. They didn't save anyone. At best, they created copies. The people still died. I had a very negative reaction to the idea. I don't remember the title of the book but I do remember the feeling of disgust when I understood their idea of 'saving' people. I'd have been more open to the idea if the uploaded consciousness left the body as an empty vessel, but that wasn't how it worked in that book.
I was reminded of this yesterday. A friend asked me if I'd ever have an animal cloned. My family and I have a lot of animals. They're all rescues. Not just dogs and cats, we take in any animal we're capable of caring for. I adore them. We have a lot of chickens now because of one single chicken that just showed up one day. We looked outside and saw a white chicken eating underneath one of our bird feeders. We absolutely love her. She has a morning routine that starts by making a lot of noise at the door then running into the house. The chicken 'coop' is a room built onto our house. She loves my mom. Yes, Oscar is a she. We thought she was a boy until the first egg. After discovering how loveable chickens are, we adopted more from a charity that saves chickens at the end of their 'laying' lives from battery farms.
I get very upset when I lose an animal, but cloning wouldn't fix that. Just as an example, I could adopt a cat identical to a cat that passed away, but I would love the new cat as an individual, not a recreation. I don't know how a clone is different than identical twins. Not that I ever intend to try cloning if it somehow became a service for pet owners. There are lots of animals in need in the world. No need to create more intentionally. I wouldn't feel less grief if I had a clone of a cat that passed away. A clone isn't a replacement. A clone of a human certainly isn't a replacement either. I feel like the entire idea is offensive.

He said I"m more religious than I think because the sense of individuality I was referring to is actually a soul. I"m not against the idea of a soul. A factor in my antagonism towards organized religion is the attitude towards non-human life that's very common among religious people in my local area. They use the idea of man's superiority as an excuse to do whatever they want with no regard for other forms of life. Some of them even sneer at the idea of animal cruelty by dismissing it as a concern at all. Our local tri-county newspaper prints the same letter to the editor once a year. The letter is a lecture combined with advice to stop children from 'humanizing' animals, such as 'have fish sticks for supper after watching Finding Nemo and other animated sea life. "Only watch Bambi during hunting season.' "Have pork chops, bacon and other pork products at meals while children read 'Charlotte's Web' at school.' I realize that isn't universal, but I thinks it's fairly common. I"ve seen a lot of arguments against environmentalism and conservation because 'nature and animals are here for humans to use.' I'd be more open to the idea of religion in general if that wasn't such a pervasive idea.
My question is, does believing that every person, and every living creature, is an individual that can't be recreated mean that I'm actually more accepting of religious beliefs than I previously realized.

Hello, I recently had a very native experience at Honda with a service department about repairing my wire harness I have a print out quote that Honda gave me for repairs to replace my harness and did not tell me that it was terrible at all only the fact that need to be replace that I need to pay the full amount or get assistance with the financial department making monthly payments. So I work part time at a major retail store, and the assistant manager is super cool, but always does a little too much work. At times it feels like they go over board with how much they do. I (19F) have been seeing a guy (21M) for about two weeks now and we've been on two dates. We live about forty minutes apart so the first date was near where I live, and it went very well I think. I found nice restaurant for us to eat at, and a movie, and we were getting along very well. A week after that he asks me out on a second date, and asks if I can travel out to where he is. He has his license and I do not, so I had to take an hour's worth of public transport to get there for what normally is a 30 minute drive.
When I get on the bus, I tell him that it will take me thirty minutes, which would lead me to arriving at our agreed upon time of 12pm. When I get there I text him to ask him where he is and he says he hasn't left the house yet and that I should have told him when I was getting there, but I had informed him when the bus would arrive so this just confused me. So I had to wait in this unfamiliar suburb where honestly I didn't feel very safe alone, for another thirty minutes until he arrived. When he arrived, I wasn't sure what the plan for the date was, and turns out he didn't have one either. We ended up going to some cafe and then he told me he had to drop his mum off somewhere cause he agreed yesterday and that he wouldn't be back for another thirty minutes.
We went to the university campus he attends nearby, and hung out there for a while doing honestly nothing, and the conversation was very centered around him and he wasn't asking any questions about me. His mum calls him and tells him she needs to be picked up at 2:00 now instead, so we have a bit over an hour, and he decides for us to just stay in the campus library. we just watched a movie for that time on his laptop, before he left to drop his mum off while I stayed on campus. he came back in ten minutes and told me his mum delayed again and was now saying 3:00pm. i was starting to get frustrated at this back and forth at this point but I went with it. i would have appreciated if before the date he had just told me he was going to be busy today so we could have rescheduled.
he told me he would drop me off to the station so I would go home and then he would go to pick up his mum. by 'station' I assumed the station he picked me up from. turns out he meant the station closest to his place which was even further away and meant it took me almost two hours to get home via public transport now, and I was unfamiliar in this area so I even got lost a couple of times. i was extremely drained when I got home and he ended up texting me an apology for not having time to drop me off which I appreciated. he said he would 'make it up to me' and I told him I'd been wanting to go on a date in the city for a while now. he texted back, 'idk why you think I'm just made of money like the prince of Arabia I'm going broke this week already'
I think this was the final straw for me now. because I didn't refer to anything demanding of money from him at all. yes, he had completely paid for our dates so far which I appreciated. he works six days a week alongside full time university, lives in a rich surburb with a nice car, and he's very busy, so I can't assume his financial position, but I don't think he's genuinely poor I think this is just stinginess. and the dates so far we have been on have costed around $100 total including his own bill, so I don't think I've made him splurge crazy or anything. i found this disrespectful because whenever he says 'ill make it up to you' he suggests sexual things and I've told him I take that stuff slow. and I suggested a third date and he's complaining about money when that wasn't even the point. I'm 29M. I have some trouble in my family would be a major understatement. The situation is so worse that I can't explain to anyone in my real life. Situation became so dire, I left my house and staying away and my parents calling me failure and abandoner. Its a toxic household. My brother hits my parents and I end up leaving the house while my parents defend him.
3 weeks back my brother hit my father, my father started crying profusely and started to scream and saying he'll call police. I asked my brother to leave. He does but comes back and starts acting lunatically, saying he's ready to go to Jail and loose his job but he'll expose my father for what he is. They had an argument coz he's not marrying and he has a girlfriend from work living not less 200 m away in a separate society. Which has come to our house and met my parents as well. My father had a agreement with him to get married by March this year. But such a manipulator and liar he is that was another one of his delaying tactics. Or maybe he said one two many lies and this caught up to him. When my father out of anger said to him to leave the house, he shamelessly said he won't he also contributed to it. The reason behind his fearlessness was my mother as she supported it. She actually supported him hitting him and later tried to justified by saying it was a minor hit and it didn't break his bone or something.
My brother has a history, he broke my mother's hand when I was in school and he was in college first year. He wanted to stay in hostel and my parents didn't let him. I come back from tuition and witness that. Looking back at it, this fueled his shamelessness and fearlessness as all the relatives knew this and it didn't bother him later on.
My family quite disfunctional since very beginning. We have lived in major cities for most part, my father was working in government service and got transferred a lot. My elder brother (4 years elder) and I work both in metro city and lived with my family here. Father retired last year. Mother a housewife.
Now here's the issue part. My father has been a wifebeater and sole earner. Him and my mother had issues since beginning. And they generally didn't have any understanding is what I saw. Trust was less as well. Mother used to bitch about him which my elder brother took quite well and to certain extent me too, but I started to see through it few times and ramblings of a frustrated woman as my father used to like being reveled by relatives so she feared him being more involved there.
One other side of this also the relationship of my mother and elder brother, they both grew some sort of symbiotic relationship where they each were masking each other's shortcomings by excuses and became each other's support system.
So that was in past then as we grew up our father also matured a bit in past few years but not a lot.
Now, so far it seems like every other family's trouble. Here's the main issue, I started observing certain things since past few years which made me really irked and start to distrust my family.
I don't trust my elder brother since few years 6-7 to be precise. And he has a history of beating me as well. Something in him makes me tick. Like he's trying to treat us like he treats outsiders, for profit of his own. I don't consider him my elder brother either. While my parents always try to shame me by saying I hit him as he is my elder brother, while they themselves flaunt society's rules as they like.
Last few years, I saw some issues with myself and loneliness, one time parents asked me and my brother to come to my father's posted place as he was getting retired and help shift. When I reached I'm told they have planned(my brother and them) a trip and invited me. I hadn't taken any leaves and this was extreme short notice so I couldn't get leaves. They just thought it would be very easy for me to get it. Like I was really pissed. I stayed there alone for 1 week while taking care of their stuff.
When they came back I broke down, and cried and told about my struggles with depression, my mother at that time cried. I suggested them to start searching for a bride for me. Before all this, some stuff was already happening with regards to my brother's marriage since that past year and I wasn't on speaking terms with my brother. But I saw them berating him by saying if he doesn't get married, it will be issue for me. So I tried to calm them separately by telling them to start searching for me if he's not cooperating. Mind you I was settled financially and of age, only thing stopping them was my brother was unmarried then. I thought I had managed to make a breakthrough, and could get some support with my issues but no.
My brother had a girlfriend whom I had met and had visited my house met my parents. She ditched him for reasons only he knows and from then onwards I only saw his hippocrit facade like the way he manipulated lied to my parents about meeting with prospects and finding excuses to not get married. He wasn't interested, just kept delaying and this kept frustrating my parents. He also blamed his failed relationship on my father as he said something angrily along the lines of him hitting his girlfriend when he was angry as he witnessed his father do that all his life.
This caused fights too, sometime I got involved as well. Like he threw food plate at my mother and I intervened. I had to say some harsh stuff and fight ensued. Physical too. This has been an recurring phenomenon.
My parents are no saint either. My father last year beat my mother at age of 60 no less. Like I said very disfunctional family.
After my heart to heart with my parents, they completely forgot about it. They say they didn't but they did. They never mentioned one girl, didn't even make JS/Shaadi profile for me. Look the issue is not that marriage was biggest priority for me. But that it wasn't even a priority for them when I specifically said about it.
Now another tragedy happened. I got laid off. I didn't utter a word. Then in between 6 months later from that talk they stuck me with the most shameless question ever asked by them. They tell me they had it enough with my brother's bullshit and wanted to search for me. I was almost about to lose it. But at that point I was at very low coz of my job situation and was seriously doubting my luck. Still am. Been doubting since Covid. I made up some excuse to make them lose interest in it.
Then some months later in another fight I brought it up and gave them an earful.
During all this I tried leaving my house twice for good. One time I actually rented a place. One time I gave an ultimatum that he leaves or I leave but my parents somehow convinced me to stay. Toxicity was through the roof. Parents fighting often, quite on the edge of physicality, my mother doesn't hold bapck a bit if we are around. My father is I feel is semi bipolar always on ego trip. And my brother a lying manipulator angling for his gains.
This time I couldn't hold back and decided to leavd I won't come back at all. I offered to take my father too. I declared my mother's case hopeless as the way she behaved after my brother hit my father and proudly berated him shamelessly like she felt someone took revenge of all those years of beatings and shame she got. While I held my head in shame by looking at what was unfolding. I couldn't hold back and abused them for their behavior. These shameless people started coming at me.
I was irked at the fact that my brother had his girlfriend living in the neighborhood and she used to come and visit and my folks weren't least bit bothered as they thought these guys were getting married. When in fact my folks had not even talked with her parents. Only with her elder sister who was doing a love marriage inter caste after threatening to take poison. So my mother was like believe in love an all that crap and talk about social and family values too. I am not conservative I met his first girlfriend before anyone else in family. But this was too much, if you are such big into love and family values and keeping appearance in society then marry and end it. Apparently the girl wanted to marry only after elder sister marries, so society rules exist for her but not for my family.
All this combined I stated my discomfort shared an ultimatum that he should leave and stay separately till his matter is resolved. My mother and brother came at me. They called me failure and said I was jealous of him cause of my failures to secure a person in my life. So I realised my mother was with him
I know this is too much but coz of this I left and this time I thought I was leaving with my father's blessings, but I was wrong that was just momentary coz of his anger after getting beaten by my brother.
I have been living away now for few weeks just few km away. So that I can go back if required but now the tune of my parents have changed completely. They are calling me deserter coz I left house. How can I live in that toxic family household ? And a lot of other things, as I can't help but scream at their shamelessness.
I wish old age days come back coz then you could call few relatives to sort things out. Or atleast discuss who's wrong, here they justify their doings as everyone is doing it in society, everyone fights, everyone's a little shameless so its fine. While I can't just become ostrich and deal with things when it strictly affects me. My brother's actions deeply affected me. I was depressed and had to deal with it alone, coz my parents were too busy with his bullshit and then I saw their real self. Lots of stuff I haven't mentioned here. I am employed by an insurance agent manager last January 2022 as an Admin Assistant, Based sa Employee Handbook that we signed, I am subjected to a performance review upon regularization (6mos) and annual performance evaluation and application for HMO. I got both within the given time frame (6mos) . Fast forward to my 1st year being employed, I did not get the annual performance evaluation and he said that "Sa June pa ulit since ang last increase mo is June" I don't know if i that is how "annual evaluation" works . I waited June 2023 for my increase AKA "performance evaluation" but laging napupush ng months. Yun pala kaya napupush was my employer decided to switch companies. Details were confidential he instructed me to signed an NDA. Worried about losing my job and being unemployed, I signed it. Told me "WE" were going to another company , all benefits intact and the promised "Salary Increase". I got sick last November 2023 and tried to use my HMO, coordinator said to talk to my employer because i was tagged as "not currently working" for the previous company , I have to pay full price for the consult and some tests. January 2024, i was scheduled by my employer for a meeting to discuss the "Performance evaluation". To my dismay, I only got 1k increase monthly to my salary which I waited 1 year and 6 mos .When asked about the HMO, he said "Naghahanap pa for all agents and staff" What should I do about this ? How do I bring this up to him ? Okay lang ba na tinanggap ko ung increase which is a year and a half late ?
