How to flip samples with Slicex in FL Studio
Just wanted to share some of my favorite tips on using Slicex in FL Studio.
It works best with instrumentals you want to flip or drum loops. You can also chop vocals and map it to the keyboard like in this video.
  • For instrumentals, I'd normally use large grid auto slicing
  • For drum loops, you can try dull or medium auto slicing and adjust as needed
Here are some settings to note (with screenshots)
  • If you use a controller like a 4x4 MPC pad, you probably want to use the preset "Sustaining" in the top right of the bar. This will play the entire slice, regardless of when you release the note / pad. Do this first, because changing it later will reset the plugin! You can change it later only by using the envelope controls, but this takes a LOT longer.

  • Some controllers have a button for "Full Level" if you want to keep the volume the same. If your controller doesn't have that, you'll probably want to turn off "Link velocity to volume" under the triangle at the top. It is turned on by default.

  • You then need to make your slices, either automatically by right-clicking the slice button, or manually by hitting "M" on your keyboard

  • Zoom in or move around by using the mouse wheel and ctrl+click. After you're done slicing, you can highlight and delete slices with the arrow keys and delete key.
  • You will now want to convert markers to regions (so they have an end point), and this is hidden in the script menu

  • You probably also want to declick out all regions now, so that they don't have any pops or clicks (aka phase clicks). Depending on the sample, you may want to declick in as well.

  • There is also click-free editing in the bottom right corner, which will attempt to eliminate clicks automatically, but it can mess up the timing on occasion

  • Most midi controllers like MPC pads will need to be mapped manually. To do this, select the first marker or region, and then in the menu, click "Assign trigger notes to all..." Then press each pad one at a time until you have gone through the entire sample. For a controller with 16 pads (4 rows by 4 columns), this means you have a max of 16 slices. If there are extra slices, you can hit ESC or click away to get out of there, and delete the extras if needed

  • You probably also want your slices to cut each other off, that way they don't play at the same time. Do this in the same slice menu by selecting "Set all cut groups to..." and put a 1. Zero is the default (does not cut).
  • Lastly the default mode is to "Auto-dump" the slices into the piano roll. You can turn off auto dump and also clear the piano roll, or just create a new pattern.
Then you can just play around and experiment. You can make cool stutter effects by using the piano roll and chop tool (ctrl + U = auto, or alt + U for controls), or clicking into a smaller grid, and also resample by recording into Edison.

I'm glad I found this sub because it's apparently the only place where I can vent about this.
So where do I even start, first we had a cat for about almost 3 years(few months short) and it was a disaster, it was fine for a few months but then later it started and kept destroying/ruining stuff: decorations, drawings of my younger brothers, scratching furniture, yowling every night, leaving hair everywhere to the point that it was impossible to remove it completely for months, biting cables of phone chargers, scratching us from time to time for no reason etc. Then we had to go to the vacation in our home country for a few months or a year but couldn't bring the cat because it didn't have a permission or whatever for us to take it to airplane and it would take months to get it, so we left it in shelter with one colleague to look after it.
Then the crazy stuff really begins... As soon as we came back from the vacation, there was this cat in front of the door in the building every day and she kept feeding it, later it turns out it was pregnant and had a litter, mother decides to take in the small kitten with no hesitation which ends up in it shitting all over the house one time when we went outside. I'm talking all over the floor, couch etc... Which angers the mother a bit but guess what she forgives it hours later like nothing happened, then after a bit more time it turns on it had worms in it's poop since surprise: taking a random cat from street which had no checking with the vet or anything can be problematic. She finally agrees to take it outside and let it on streets where it was later taken by some people. Also not to mention how she defends literally anything cats do including destroying wildlife but at the same time says that she is some animal lover.
This is the part where I would like to say that it all ended here, but it didn't...
We once again vent to vacation to our home country next summer and when we returned we went to another place(we have to move a bit for now because of a job of our father, it's temporary thankfully) and this place is a nightmare: whole litter of stray cats in the streets around and literally almost the same situation happened as last time: there was a pregnant cat in front door, mother starts feeding it and makes a litter of 4 of them in total, neighbors can't take it anymore and decide to kick them out and she moves them on the roof. There was multiple attempts of neighbors to kick them out and show them that they are unwelcome here, but to no avail since she made the roof their playground. One neighbor decides to admittedly overreact and literally pushes the cat from the roof and it falls on parked van leaving the 3 kittens up, it survives because it's a cat and runs away, obviously I don't support this act and never would, but the neighbors are so fed up on it that it was only a matter of time before someone would snap. AND THEN, mother takes the 3 kittens IN THE HOUSE immediately and tells the father to call the vet and shelter in order for them to be given for adoption, but until then she will look after them on the balcony. After some time, this cat returns but is hurt and recovers slowly, mother finally takes them out of the house few days later and returns them to the same spot on the roof. Still weeks later no sign of vet calling because it takes time to find people to adopt them.
Now she keeps going to them every single day and spending hours with them, she spends more time daily with random stray cats than with us in home! Few weeks later random stray kitten from the litter in streets gets hurt and she immediately takes it in to nurse it and allows it to sleep in bed, 2 days later she returns it. And now she is absolutely baffled and furious because the neighborhood doesn't give a single shit about stray litters on streets. She just goes around on and on and on about how neighbors are assholes and bad yada yada(except 3 of them who also feed them) because they don't feed stray hordes on streets like this is an animal shelter and not the place where people live and was talking shit about one woman because she saw her being scared to pass because of one cat and swatted it (she most probably has a phobia) and said that ''she was overreacting like it's a dinosaur''. There aren't any foxes, coyotes or birds of prey here so they are free to run amok everywhere and unfortunately the animal control here is very bad unless it's about something bigger.
And now here we are, she goes on the roof every day to spend time with litter she made and observes them like they're animals of Savannah or apes, as soon as she hears some cat meowing or yowling outside, she rushes to find it to feed it, goes in and out of the home like 50 times a day because of it, spends a lot of money on cat food etc. Thankfully we're here not for long more and we'll hopefully soon settle down on the place where we were before father had to start travelling because of job and be free from this because there strays actually aren't that much present and few that it had aren't allowed in or near the building thankfully.

Everyone knows his studio albums. However, some fans, especially newer ones, might not be aware of just how prolific he’s been with his free mixtapes over the years. In the words of DJ Drama, “Why Gambino, why young guy?? Why so generous?”
If you want to hear more of Bino rapping, or see some of the legendary artists he’s collaborated with over the years, check them out! That’s what made me into a huge fan after BTI dropped; I did a deep dive (aka visited foreverchildish.com) and listened to all of his prior catalogue starting from the beginning. To see his evolution and growth as an artist was just insane, from Sick Boi and Poindexter to ROYALTY, then STN MTN was the first tape of his I actively listened to at its time of release. I Do Not Talk I Am Just A Rapper 1 & 2 didn’t really resonate with me as much, but I still think they’re dope projects and I liked his subject matter and creative use of indie samples/blending of styles - “I mean I’m rapping over Grizzly Bear, what the fuck?”
My favorites would probably have to be ROYALTY as #1, then Culdesac, then STN MTN. Or maybe those are tied for 2nd. Let’s hear yours!

2024.05.19 01:31 2buckbill Dad had a good day and I really kind of needed it

My dad, after a consistent and very slow decline, finally had a pretty good memory day today. He has what I guess is a "run of the mill" vascular dementia. I'm far from an expert.
A bit more than 2 years ago his wife passed away in early 2022. I didn't know, at that time, that he had any unusual health problems. They didn't tell me about any mobility issues, they didn't tell me about some of the conditions he had developed, and they didn't tell me about the dementia diagnosis. When she passed my dad just stopped taking care of himself, and he spiraled pretty fast. He spent a couple of weeks in the hospital while we got him sorted out and I was finally clued in to how far he had declined in the previous couple of years. I was able to get POA for his health and finances to help make decisions. A couple of weeks later the doctors said that he was OK to go home on his own with help from some occupational therapy, and a nurse visiting a couple of times a week. This was in mid to late April of 2022. By early June he was getting some pretty serious notices from utilities, credit card companies, and others wanting to be paid. Dad thought everything was paid automatically (said his late wife had set that up), and had been ignoring every bill that came his way. This was when I really found out how bad things had become. There hadn't been a bill paid in months, his wife had been using HIS credit cards for HER purchases, and as I recall it there was about $11,500 in credit card debts that she had left for him. On HER OWN cards she had about $19,000 in credit card debt (I never paid that, my dad was not a guarantor on her accounts). My dad's credit score tanked, and was flirting with dipping into the 500s. So I stepped in and took over. I'd never had to take over someone else's finances before, and thus began a whole lot of change in both our lives. There were mysterious bills that were getting paid from his accounts, his cell phone bill was in the hundreds, there were debts she had created; some he knew about and some he didn't. I had to do some very basic financial forensics to figure out what was happening. The list of her dumb-fuckeries is sadly extensive, she was just a financial-fucking-idiot. He had a few thousand dollars remaining in his accounts, but he had a consistent pension and Social Security coming in. I started prioritizing the debt into utilities versus credit, and started getting him set right. It took about a year or year and a half, but my dad became debt free, and developed a substantial savings. His credit score is in the mid / high 700s again.
He is good enough to live mostly on his own still. I call most nights to check up on him, run through the list. "Did you eat enough? Did you take your medicine? Did you get any exercise? Did you visit with any friends? How you showered recently?" And on Saturdays I go over to his house to refill his medications, take him shopping, take a rudimentary inventory of his physical and mental condition, and I take him to lunch, usually with my wife and daughter. I take his blood pressure, and report it to his GP via an online portal. I do a bit of picking up in his house, maybe clean some things. Remind him about upcoming appointments. This takes up most of my Saturdays. I also get him to most of his medical and dental appointments, work with his doctors and nurses, and manage most of his life. But I also have a house, a demanding career (where I have a full team to manage and lead), a wife, a four year old, and pets. Everyone and everything deserves attention, of course, but these days I feel like I am constantly trying to pour from an empty container. I'm always exhausted, and I wake up nearly every night afraid that I missed something. Did dad take his pills? Did we miss any bills? Is my daughter OK? Did I hear her coughing? Did I miss something at work? Did I miss a page out? I have to get up and check my work phone. I'm just exhausted, and burnt out on all of it.
But today... He remembered my daughter's name, my brother's name, my wife's name, and even the names of cousins. He remembered his friends' names, he remembered his bills, and where he put them. He was even a bit spry when I took him shopping. He cracked jokes. He was in the best mood that I've seen him in in.... hell, maybe years? He understood everything that I was telling him, and HE TOLD ME about an upcoming appointment that he remembered. And man... I needed it. I needed an easier day. It is like a little bit of the weight lifted. I know that it is just one day, and he might be having these good days on the days when I am not over there to manage his home, but I usually see more difficult days. It isn't a whole lot, but tonight it feels like the vessel I am trying to pour from finally has a bit of something in it, it doesn't feel so empty.

For context, I live in the UK, where healthcare is free at the point of use. Unlike other countries (e.g. the US), I am not a paying customer, but I am using a subsidised national service.
For the past couple of years, I have suffered with a chronic ear infection, with classic symptoms of pain (ear and tongue) with foul-smelling yellow discharge.
Each time (about five times), I have gone to the GP (General Practitioner) surgery to see a doctor or nurse, they have given me a spray, which they have told me is always given to people with ear infections in the first instance. However, this spray has never helped me. I lean my head to the side, to let the spray go in, but each time most of the spray comes out. The spray that goes in causes severe pain, which requires constant pain relief from paracetamol and ibuprofen.
Because of the pain, a few times the GP surgery or an out-of-hours doctor has recommended going in to hospital. Each time, I see an ENT specialist. The doctor or nurse has usually diagnosed my ear infection as an outer ear infection, but each time, the specialist has disagreed, and instead prescribed me antibiotics.
The antibiotics help, but the ear infection stays, even though I properly follow my course of antibiotics. Eventually, it shows up again. Because the pain from the spray is worse than leaving the ear infection untreated, I have taken to letting the ear infection pain go away on its own. However, it's starting to get really annoying, and I've heard of cases where an ear infection can spread to the brain, which feels really scary.
But I'm worried about going back to the GP surgery. They treat each ear infection assuming they are unconnected but I'm not sure they are. And each time, they say to try the spray, but each time it causes really bad pain and doesn't help and I end up being prescribed antibiotics anyway after a few days of really bad pain.
I struggle to advocate for myself anyway and I'm not sure how to do it without getting upset or annoyed. Especially when you're not referred to a higher up medical practitioner (a GP if you've seen a nurse or a specialist if you've seen a GP) until you've tried all of the other treatments first, even when specialists have said before that they won't help me.
Any advice?

Hello everybody! I am a quadriplegic name Ron and I am very excited to go to my first goose show at the man Down the street from my new apartment from my old nursing home. I'm taking paratransit CCT there and back to be safe and bringing A Home health aid with me I believe it gets in for free.
My first show was the further festival in 96 back at the E Center after Jerry died. I have been listening to goose for a couple years now I really want to see them at the red rocks, that is my dream venue and so is Hampton. They are both on my bucket list.
Anyway if anybody would like to meet up and shake down with a quadriplegic who's got one ticket he paid for by using his own money… please let me know, happy to be a part of the goose family and hoping Rich and the boys Bring it. I will also be at the Ween lot at the man, that sold out immediately. Anyway come say hi to the crooked neck quadriplegic who just got a brand new chair courtesy of Medicaid Medicare. Take care

2024.05.19 00:41 Shadow_Storm066 Hi, new to the Thread, but I'm petty, so here's my first petty post. Also, sorry in advance, this is kind of long, it's a long story.

Ok, so, I used to live in a different (southern) state during my childhood than the one I live in now (I live in the Northern US, originally born in this northern state as well). I lived in this other state from the ages of 6 until I was almost 16, and throughout the entirety of my elementary and middle school years up until the middle of 9th grade (which was at the high school, some start at 10th grade instead of 9th).
There were 2 main bullies that I dealt with starting in 1st grade/first school year after moving to this state, and as the years went on, these two girls (let's call them Marie & Clarisse) would get their friends in on bullying me. I wasn't popular by any means, but my mother always had me in sports and extracurricular activities with these girls, so I could never really escape them. It was just as bad outside of anything school related as Marie has two younger brothers that my brother was friends with, so I had to pretend to be the 'best of friends' with Marie from 1st grade up until about the end of 7th grade since our families drifted apart from being "close friends".
As far as typical bullying goes in elementary school, I dealt with constant name-calling and cruel "pranks", mostly aimed towards my weight, I wasn't fat, but I wasn't skinny either despite being in sports and was always active. However, those incidents extended to my stuff being stolen, like my notebooks I'd use for schoolwork, or my box of pencils/pens/etc., forcing me to constantly borrow from the few friends I actually had or from the teachers. I used to be in band (which started in 6th grade in that school district), and I played the clarinet, my stepdad had bought me a very nice/sturdy and somewhat expensive tote bag to put my clarinet, music stand, and music binders in for easier storage and to keep my hands free when transporting my 'equipment'. Us band kids were allowed to keep our instruments behind the curtains of the stage in the school's cafeteria (the stage was against the farthest wall from the kitchen/lunch lines), and out of the ~20 kids in band, only my expensive/sturdy tote bag was stolen within the last 2 days of 6th grade, of course suspects were Marie & Clarisse (I saw Clarisse using my tote bag that summer, as my now-smudged name had been written in permanent marker on the straps and one of the sides of the bag). I left it be because I didn't want any conflict, my stepdad bought me another one after finding out the original one was stolen in the first place.
Middle school wasn't much better as the name calling got extensively more graphic and consisted of slurs (like the F slur, as I'm proudly part of the LGBTQ+ community, specifically AgendeNon-binary), furthering the self-hurting thoughts that had started in 3rd grade. I had continuously tried to tell my mom and stepdad about it, only for my pleas for help to go unheard until one week during the winter season in 7th grade. I had gotten sick for 2 days and stayed home an extra day to recover, but during those three days, Marie, Clarisse and their friends had made an Instagram account, posting very unattractive pictures of fellow classmates (i.e. purposely taking pictures with very unflattering angles, poor lighting, etc) and blamed it on me since they put my address in the private information into that account. My mom had found the account, immediately asking about if I was the one behind it, she unfortunately didn't believe me until *after* she ripped my phone from me to look through it for "evidence" that I made the account. When I returned to school the following Thursday after recovering from the small cold, I was constantly bombarded by fellow students about the account since Marie & Clarisse were the ones that spread the obvious false rumor that I made it. By the end of the day, I had finally snapped, yelling "I didn't make that f-cking account. Why can't everyone just stop bothering me about it?" Of course, that earned plenty of attention from the teachers and students within earshot (and thanks to the tiled floors and walls, my yelling echoed throughout most of the first floor and partly into the second floor of my school), I ended up having to talk with the counselor about the whole ordeal because of my frustrated outburst, which resulted with very little help from the staff, but after a few weeks, people seemed to forget that the account even existed since it ended up deleted within a few days after my outburst.
That following school year, 8th grade, was even worse. Sure, the slurs, the other name-calling and thievery of my belongings continued (more so the slurs/name-calling), but by this year, I was almost constantly committing the self-hurting since my mother was of no help, my stepdad was sympathetic but always working and the therapist my mother found for me was basically a deadbeat with bullying situations (she didn't seem to understand or even want to actually help me with the bullying as she was more of a family therapist than anything else). For the district curriculum, we are required to take health class in 8th grade, and as we were going over the unit that encompassed depression, self-harm, and su!c!dal thoughts/actions, I constantly had to have another staff member in the back of the classroom to watch over me and take me out of the class if any of the course material triggered an episode. Thankfully the staff member was that was there for me was the school's police officer, let's call him Officer Lennox, he was like a protective older brother, especially after finding out about how consistently I was bullied. Near the end of the unit, we had to watch Ronan's Escape (it's on YouTube), and since I was going through my own version of Ronan's situation, I ended up breaking down sobbing in class, only to be laughed at by some of the boys that were close friends with Marie & Clarisse. Officer Lennox snapped at them as professionally as possible while helping me out of the classroom to go sit with the nurse to have some downtime to stop sobbing before I was allowed back to my classes.
Another situation, which is the worst of it in 8th grade, was this one girl, let's call her Ava. She thought it would be hilarious to eavesdrop into my conversations with my best friend (we'll refer to her as Raven since that was a nickname she used) throughout lunch and shared classes, only to take our conversations completely out of context in order to string up a lie that Raven and I were planning to unalive the principle. Of course, this wasn't true, the principle was an a-hole to everyone, and Raven & I would discuss that we greatly disliked him. Ava mostly got away with spreading this lie as her mom was a higher-up in the school district, forcing Raven and I to entirely change our class schedules so we weren't in any classes with Ava, as well as almost being expelled. Thanks to Officer Lennox sticking up for both of us, we only had to have in-school suspension for 3 days instead of being expelled. Sadly, Ava got very little repercussions from this, but Raven and I grew even closer as best friends after "The Incident" as we still refer to it as almost 10 years later.
Summer rolled through without a hitch, leading to 9th grade, the start of high school. I was given more freedom from my mother (she's a helicopter parent and abusive/narcissistic) to dress in clothing that I preferred in comparison to always wearing brightly colored athletic wear. I completely changed my appearance, chopped my hair from just above the small of my back to a punk pixie-styled cut, and started wearing graphic t-shirts, ripped jeans, combat boots, and leather jackets. On top of that, I started becoming more confrontational/combative towards my bullies, since they still wouldn't let up, I earned a "bad@ass/bad b!tch" reputation, made friends with other rebellious and misfit types of people in the grades above me, and just fully became more of "me" despite the disapproval from my mother of the amount of change I undergone.
Despite being 14 at the start of 9th grade, I began dating, specifically one fellow student that was a very close friend and felon, he went to jail/juvie throughout the 2nd half of 7th grade and all of 8th grade. He came to the high school 3 months after the year started, and our friendship-turned-relationship sparked right back up as if he never left. I had kept my dating life secret from my family, mostly my mother because I know how bad her reaction would've been if I told her. With him almost always by my side (excluding classes we didn't share), my brand-new appearance, and my quickly attained delinquent/rebellious reputation, most of my issues dissipated much quicker than before. In spite of that, Marie & Clarisse kept making their remarks, trying to drag down my new confidence and constantly break my felon boyfriend (let's call him Collin) and I up. They got more degrading and verbally abusive with these antics, I eventually was completely fed up with it all. In the middle of the school year, within a couple weeks after Yule (Christmas for the non-pagans) & New Years Break, Marie, Clarisse and their group of friends had stopped me in the hallway, purposely surrounding me (there was about 30 of them in total) on my way to class, continuing with their shtick as usual, I slipped the pocketknife out of my pocket, flicking it open as I finally gave in and threatened to unalive them and everyone they care for if they don't leave me the f-ck alone. They saw the opened knife and knew then & there that I was 100% serious, I turned on my heels, shoving through them only to notice the principal and school's police officer (not officer Lennox) staring at me with concerned expressions, they also noticed the knife as there was a glint from the blade due to the blindly bright lights in the hallway. Not a word was uttered as they walked away, never sending a call to my mother or stepdad about the weapon or the confrontation as they had seen my progression in attitude and the amount of f-cks I had (which was none). After that day, those girls never spoke to me again, would barely glance in my direction, would purposely take alternate routes to class if they saw me in the hallway (or would keep to the wall if they couldn't move quick enough), and if we shared any classes, they'd be on the opposite side of the room from me and would do everything they could to never be partnered/grouped with me in class projects.
Everything was smooth sailing from then on, and now I'm 22 (as of late April this year), happily living with my bio-dad, my brother and my 2-year-old kitty, Ziggy. My mother is out of the picture entirely as she refuses to change her mindset and parenting style. I'm still confrontational towards anyone that tries messing with me, especially if they're anti-LGBTQ+/racist/abusive/etc. And thanks to my continuation of my drastic change from 8th grade to 9th grade, I'm now considered both the protector and the therapist to my friends, always there for them because I grew up knowing what it was like to not have that kind of support. I hope this story of roughly half my life can provide some sort of comfort or proof that it does indeed get better, even if it doesn't seem like it in the moment.

Hello Helldivers! I sent this as an email to Arrowhead and I got an auto-response saying "we are swamped, post to Discord" but it was too long to be posted there, so I'll put it here. Maybe my manifesto is interesting, maybe it's not, I'm curious what others think.
Currently I'm level 89 and I've been capped on samples since ~70 because there's nothing to buy. I hate nothing more in a game when I reach the end of a talent tree, etc. We need a system to absorb samples that also structures goals for grinders and farmers.
My suggestion is to allow a ship upgrade for backpack + support weapon combos as a single stratagem choice. This system would need to be limited to very high levels (75+ or so) to reward players who have the in-game experience to justify the power of a 5th stratagem reward. The goal is to reward players for community gameplay, not to boost 20s who just read about some hot new meta build.
My proposal has these rules: 1. Players must reach the level requirement and purchase all other ship upgrades. 2. Players have to buy a new ship upgrade to unlock the combo grid. This should be ridiculously expensive, like 250/100/50 samples and 25000 requisition. If this seems unrealistic, you haven't gained 15 levels while gaining zero samples. 3. The combo grid is an X-Y grid with all the single-sided hellpod stratagems: six backpacks on one axis vs. ten special weapons on the other. Weapons that arrive with an ammo backpack and EAT are excluded. No two-weapon or two-backpack combinations are allowed 4. Each spot on the grid is expensive enough such that no one seriously considers trying to get them all, but 1-2 is very rapid and 8-10+ is the kind of thing dedicated grinders appreciate. Each combo on the grid costs the same as the ship upgrade: 25000 requisition and 250/100/50 samples. After players get a combo or 2 that they've dreamed of, then the grid exists as a way to spur players to innovate new builds.
This is a high-level reward that grants advanced players slightly more firepower. The very even system in place is great because actual gameplay skill counts more than level-based mathematics, but it's also reasonable to think players at 75+ can pack a slightly bigger punch with a free backpack. But it's not a permanent free backpack...you have to plan out your build and commit to your role on the team. I'm curious what people think, fire away for Freedom!

2024.05.19 00:13 ARC_1999 How did your quality of life improve after getting a colostomy? (UK)

Quick (long after I wrote it) back story first
I got diagnosed in 2022, after a really bad flare up and 3x doctors trips with them sending me away with buscopan I eventually took myself into A&E and spent 6 days in hospital- Luckily for me my dad has this so diagnosis was quick as it helped guide them for to be the first thing to look for.
I got discharged and went 16 months with no symptoms thanks to Salofalk, but July last year I had another flare up - Prednisolone helped this.
Symptom free only lasted until December 2023 and I’ve not been right since, another round of prednisolone but this failed I had a sigmoidoscopy upon the findings I spent another 7 days in hospital apparently if they left it another few weeks my bowel would’ve burst or whatever it does. The doctors then give me a choice of a colostomy or infliximab, I wanted to give medication another go so I had an infliximab infusion and was discharged a few days later.
A day before my second infusion (last week) blood appeared in my stools however I initially had this down to haemorrhoids I don’t believe this is the case now.
This leaves me to today, I will need to ring my nurse on Monday and tell them about the blood and I imagine they will try and push me back down the surgery route, I’m 24m in the UK and basically the last 12 months I’ve had do eat plain, avoid socialising, whilst im not a massive drinker I’ve had no alcohol in 7 months again this affects social life and my energy levels are lower than before - I struggle to run 3K.
Final question is, how much will my quality of life improve if I was to get a colostomy- I imagine this is a decision I may have to make over the coming weeks or even days.
