BB References in Recent Posts
I just watched all the recent Twitter posts from that account that was dormant for years. I interpret the posts as indicating a run is coming up for the original BANG stocks - BB, AMC, NOK, and G. The BANG acronym was created during the 1st meme run when all these stocks ran hard. I noticed several references to BANG and BB in particular in the posts, with of course the most obvious references being for G. For purposes of this post I am going to assume these posts are genuine, even though I have a healthy amount of skepticism that the account was sold or is now part of a marketing campaign working with G, especially with the offering in AMC and G occurring right after the account starting posting again. This post is exploring the references in the posts, I am not going to debate whether it is in fact the original poster trying to say something, or just a marketing scheme to create bagholders. I think either could be true.
On the first day of posting videos, there is a post where it cuts to a song titled BANG with a video in a casino. Lyrics to the song appear on the screen. BANG BANG BANG appears several times. I believe this may be a reference to the original BANG stocks. There are several other posts involving loud gunshots and bangs, that may also be references to the original BANG stocks.
There is a Candyman post where the word "BE" appears on the screen with a bee icon flying away from it - BB.

There is a lot of BB alliteration throughout the posts. Several Breaking Bad posts. The post where the words Britney Bitch appear on screen. The Busta Rhymes post where Busta Bust appears on screen. There is a Beavis and Butthead post. I'm sure there are other examples.
There is also a lot of references to "Black". There is a Pirates of the Caribbean post where captain Barbosa asks what has become of his ship. The ship in the move is the "Black Pearl". There are several Men in Black posts. I'm sure there are several other references to "Black" throughout the posts.
There is the post from tombstone with Doc Holliday. Doc Holliday's most famous line is "I'll be your Huckleberry".
There is an Always Sunny post where Dennis holds up the photo of him grabbing the therapist's boobs from the back and there is the G sign for her boobs. The word "Boobs" contains BB. The actor who plays Dennis was also a main character in the Blackberry movie.
This could just be some Q-anon level dot connecting nonsense, or referring back to Always Sunny, the Mac meme where he is smoking a cigarette with the white board in the background. But I think there is too many potential references to be a coincidence, and I think the posts are referring to BB and the other original BANG stocks, as well as G (obviously). Again, this doesn't answer the question of whether these are genuine posts, or some big psy op or marketing scheme. If it is the original poster posting these, I think he is also saying that BB and original BANG stocks are going to run as well.
I will be buying some lotto BB OTM calls on Monday. Just gambling in case this is genuinely Kitty posting. IV on BB calls is still reasonable compared to AMC and GEM. I think NOK IV is still low and may be worth a look as well. There also seems to be a good floor on BB for shares, I don't see it going below $2.50 anytime soon, so potential upside vs low downside in my opinion. I just need a post next week with the "blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice" Tupac song, and I am all in.

the night before my chem paper 1, i was stressing profusely over the exams seeing that my predicted grade was a 9a which isn't good enough for me so i endeavoured to rest my head in order to tranquilise the chaos inside my mind and find some solace. however, overnight, all of my chemistry knowledge had perished; i dreamt it was squandered by a malevolent leprechaun with a macabre, sinister pattern of speech consisting of a strict ABABAB rhyme scheme and trochaic tetrameter signifying his desire for power and avarice for the acquisition of knowledge. my gargantuan intellect slipped through my fingers; I had been Light Yagami before (metaphor; i was not literally the antihero protagonist), with the chemistry knowledge of Walter White and a reputation that truly preceded me as when i walked to school that morning i realised i would be receiving a U despite my overwhelming intellect. destitute, despaired, despondent. if only that machiavellian villian hadn't seized my smarts. i held a vast sea of repressed rage inside of me, and once i opened my paper to a 6 marker on equilibria, i arose from my creaky chair and disenthralled a mighty bellow, tearing my shirt apart with my bare fists like the hulk, and releasing my agonising mental anguish through the form of sound waves in which shook the mortal ground, quaking under my feet in submissive obedience. this caused most of the students in the silent hall to turn to look at me in disbelief, so in a fit of anger i lost my temper and absolutely dashed my desk at the nearest student. now then, any moral person witnessing this incident would clearly relate to my pain and suffering, and would at the very least leave me to grieve the remnants of a drained IQ of 341, but an invigilator chose to approach me and had the AUDACITY to REMOVE me from the hall. i was promptly disqualified and issued several consequences for disrupting the exam. this is clear evidence that examiners do not care for mental health, a stark contrast to the claims held by thousands of them worldwide. it is time to take action. it is time to make a change. it is time to fire every invigilator in the country and beyond; students' feelings shouldn't be invalidated and we have the right to express them in any form necessary, especially during the stressful exam period. i listen to the drone of students chattering as they leave the exam and i think to myself about my perpetual experiences with being dismissed and punished for natural behaviour. i can no longer pursue my lifelong aspiration of becoming a high-school chemistry teacher in Alberquerque, New Mexico because this examiner was unable to CONTROL THEMSELF IN THE EXAM HALL. they didn't even think about how much escorting me out would disturb the hardworking students completing their questions. for this reason you must make a stand against invigilators; join me in my venture to cease this barbaric treatment of well-behaved, well-prepared students such as myself.

Hello, as the title states I’m a 20-year old white woman who grew up in the suburbs. And since my youth I’ve been obsessed with rap music. I’ve grown up listening to 90s rap and early 2000s and some of my favorite artists are Eazy-E, 50 cent, Kid Cudi & Kanye. I even make my own beats inspired by an experimental style, and have wrote poetry with lyrical rhyme schemes since I was 12. I’m looking to get into the hip-hop scene and make friends, and there’s a Cypher free styling group near me I’m looking to join. But I guess im afraid of not being welcomed/accepted or seen as a phony or not belonging, due to my gender, race, and where I was raised. I feel the cards are stacked against me, and it’s difficult to integrate. I would never rap about a life I’ve never lived, or try to be hard when I am well aware I’m not.

I used to think lyricism refers to rappers who put a lot of meaning into their lyrics, many times r talkin bout some real shit. The actual content of the lyrics. Some examples would be Jay-Z or Kdot.
But after awhile on reddit, it seems like a lot of ppl r talking about the rhymes when mentions lyricism. Rhyme schemes, wordplay in general. In that sense DOOM and Em would be very lyrical rappers (not saying they dont have any meaning on their lyrics, just feel they r more rhymes-focused IMO)
Am I gettin somethin wrong? I'll give an example: in Renegade, I always thought Hov is being very "lyrical" while Em is being very technical / skilled. Id like to find out the consensus definition. And just to clarify, I dnt think one thing is better than the other, its a matter of taste

Kinda want to vent and maybe hear some perspective. One of the weirdest aspects of the battle was this line. How did this get to wax? I understand his name is similar, but it just hurts the ear when listening to it because it’s such a simple fuckup to fix. Joel Osment. Even if it was rhyming purposes, he could have just said Osment “oz meent” to make it flow better with the rhyme scheme.
It’s just puzzling to me. Coulda swore I saw people rationalizing it as intentional too, as though Kendrick meant to do that. That’s silliness. Doesn’t make sense.

I've only listened to maybe three Eminem albums, I like him but I'm not a mega-fan, but I find this song both sonically pleasing (I like the beat and countless flows) and lyrically dense. People blindly accuse Eminem of "rapping fast" like it's a bad thing but he only does that for like one verse on this song, and it's actually kind of genius if you get the flow he's referencing, not to mention the "Supersonic" reference shows how deep his knowledge of hip hop roots goes.

Title basically. Medium-long rant but you can skip it if you want to.
Reconstructed pronunciation is incredibly difficult, but general rhyming schemes should be much more feasible for scholars to find general agreement on, right?
(Yes, it is much more feasible. It doesn't mean it's feasible, it means it is more feasible).
So, I was wondering, is there any online database where I can plug in e.g. 孔 and see which characters scholars believe it rhymed with in e.g. 詩經、楚辭 etc.
I won't name his name but I'm part of a small project with a world-renowned scholar and we are translating [a text] and he said that the author uses 孔 specifically to play on the word 空 because they are homonyms, which was very funny because just an hour before this my friend (who is also part of this project) and I talked about how literally every Chinese scholar will blindly say that "character X rhymes with character Y" in any ancient text because it does so in Standard Mandarin, which by no means must mean that it did so 2000 years ago.
So, I was wondering, is there some super secret Eyes-Wide-Shut sex party website where all Chinese scholars have a list of all characters that rhyme/are homonyms(??) in pre-Qin, Han, well, any time period? Or did this scholar, like basically everyone, just subconsciouly assume that Standard Mandarin has always been been pronunced and base his argument on that?

Speculation: Jigsaw used to capture people who were not looking to live their life and play games with them to show them that they actually do care about their lives in the end. Maybe DFV is referring to shorts desperately trying to get out of their position and showing they will do whatever it takes to do it. The Prestige quote comes from the scene here and shows a magic trick of money appearing. The Kansas City Shuffle is "In order for a confidence game to be a "Kansas City Shuffle", the mark must be aware, or at least suspect that he is involved in a con, but also be wrong about how the con artist is planning to deceive him. The con artist will attempt to misdirect the mark in a way that leaves him with the impression that he has figured out the game and has the knowledge necessary to outsmart the con artist, but by attempting to retaliate, the mark unwittingly performs an action that helps the con artist to further the scheme" and the Made you Look songs full line is "They shootin', Aw made you look" maybe referring to what is happening to the stock right now.

Speculation: Inside man is about an elaborate heist turned hostage movie on Wall Street. Don't think there is much more to say about that other than GME is most likely the hostage in this situation.

Speculation: First part is a joke from DFV keeping the just dance theme going but then we go to hit me baby one more time and most importantly a reference to a "Just give me a sign". There are signs coming that something big is going to happen.

Speculation: This is a really fun meme, we see some more of RC and Roaring Kitty Gill all over this. Is there a partnership or does DFV just know that RCEO is about to do something big that will send goosebumps down the bears necks.

Speculation: DFV and RCEO are best pals and with everything that is going on with the stock they are just dancing and having a great time. Essentially owning New York which of course is where the finance bros hang out.

Speculation: Another meme from New York with predominantly girls hanging out. DFV maybe noting that we all unleash a little roaring kitty by taking on his thesis with Gamestop, dunno about you but I just like the stock. Things might get a little crazy, at least to people on the outside when they are asking you why you aren't selling.

Speculation: Things starting to get real interesting now. This looks to be a sign that something is happening behind the scenes. A baby monitor, what's RCEO got stored up? Maybe he is pregnant? Maybe GME is pregnant? Is there a merger happening? A split of some sort?

Speculation: Really looking like something big is on the horizon and DFV thinks he has seen the signs. This meme would suggest maybe its a merger with multiple gamestop logos but that's just my opinion. One thing for sure is that Gamestop has something on the horizon.

That doens't mean his thesis on Gamestop doesn't evolve, I just think he is done looking for other deep value plays.

The blonde icon from other sub tied up is in the place of a kid who was tied up in the film and certainly WAS NOT a friend of the Sicarios. Take from that what you will but I can't comment to much as it's about another sub.

Speculation: No Country for Old Men has cropped up a few times before but it's about a killer who is pretty much unstoppable mowing these people down. The train wrecking Chicago and the Chicago Bears (as a Packers fan i liked that), well option contract writers are in Chicago I believe but also it's the original home of Citadel. The chair maybe is an answer to a Cramer tweet and the smackdown i'm not sure other than it being just a fun thing to watch.

Speculation: I think that this could indicate that Gamestop isn't doing anything wrong with what's going to happen, they have warned again and again in their financial postings that the stock is being manipulated and is subject to squeezes. It could also indicate a GME investor has nothing to worry about legally either, just like the stock.

Speculation: If you take DFV to be the good guy in this car scene then he just carries on with what he believes which is in GME regardless of trying to be chickened out of it in the face of adversity. You could also say he is Bojack and wanting to continue with his memes, he ain't done telling his memeroirs yet.

Speculation: DFV basically saying as we would say in the UK, "whatever mate". The guy is talking a load of bullshit and to bring up legality after all the stuff he has let slide as former SEC chairman, i mean bitch please!

Description: First scene is taken from the car chase in The Bourne Identity, DFV has imposed a load of pictures of himself on the sheet of paper and then the car chase from the police proceeds (original clip here) There is a part in the middle of this car chase where the footage has been mirror flipped which means the steering wheel that would read Mini reads INIM then it finishes the chase and moves on to the opening scene of the movie Drive (original clip here).
Speculation: I think that the mirror flip of the video shows the steering wheel just at that point to sort of read "IM IN", surely not a coincidence given that is the only part of the whole clip that is flipped. The movie drive as someone suggested in the comments is about, "Ryan Gosling plays the unnamed Driver, a near-silent, methodical, mysterious, professional, highly competent getaway driver." - DFV has also tweeted about this movie before here.
