Perimeter

Lots of people on this sub are hung up about several players on this team. Which i understand as I love them just as much. However, from a pure basketball standpoint we need to take a look.
J-will is not an nba level player. He is a center shooting nearly 39% FG while being undersized and the slowest dude in the nba. He is unplayable.
Giddey- we all know about Giddey. I don’t think he’s bad but he’s a bad fit for us. He has to have the ball in his hands and would fit much better on a team like the spurs.
Dort- I don’t actually know what we should do with Dort. This series wasn’t a good look for him but he’s still one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. However, his beyond negative basketball IQ on offense costs us nearly 10 possessions every game.
Chet- Chet’s fine he’s just not a center and has been asked to do too much.
Coach mark- man I love coach mark but his coaching these playoffs were downright HORENDOUS. Taking SGA out during a run. Playing j-will over Chet during a run. Not calling a timeout. Playing giddey. Dude it was actually disgusting to watch.
All in all we have a great team but there’s a lot of homer takes here all year that this team in particular can win a championship when that is not the case.

I've been doing that camp perimete change appearance method it worked just once for a good amount of time I'd say 40min. Every other attempt was a fail, getting people just after 2mins Any tips for doing the right way or any other methods also is it possible to maintain the same camp location (lv100 and have no idea if it's 😭) i want it in the heartland overflow

Trash, plates, toys, chicken bones and most recently a just finished plastic bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce. one time their teenager threw something at our RV windshield and it cost $300 to repair but once again they said it wasn’t them. Our yard is only attached to theirs and the placement/force of the damage makes it extremely clear the direction it came from so I don’t know how they can deny it. It’s been on and off for over a year now and I’ve asked them to stop, talked to their mother and all she’s done is deny it, saying things like they didn’t even have chicken recently. We have dogs and I’m tired of having to limit their time outside to when we can supervise and constantly check the perimeter of the shared fence because of this issue. Aside from this they’re just generally rude to us even after I share garden goodies and eggs from my chickens. They called animal control on us (so frequently AC labeled it as harassment) saying we have roosters but we don’t. Many neighbors do though and it’s allowed where we live as long as theyre not a nuisance. Their dog is constantly barking all night and early morning and we never report them for anything because it really doesn’t bug me, it’s a small bark. Since I’ve tried talking to them so many times about the varied issues and it doesn’t improve I’m tempted to go straight to their landlord to start documenting issues since police don’t care. Is that out of line? If not what should my goal be? I was thinking about asking him to get them to stop or pay for a taller fence. We bought this house (and I love it) so we can’t just move and I know when I was renting I would absolutely listen to my landlord if my neighbor was afraid to come to me with a concern. What would you do? Thanks for input!

My fiancé and I bought our first house last year — yay! It was built in 1951 and was sold to us with a “finished basement” and for a very short period of time after purchasing, it was. Then the water pooling started. It started slow, then soon after whenever it rained water would seep under the walls into puddles. It’s reached a point now where it would be unsafe to not get this issue under control.
We have spoken to a number of waterproofing companies and professional landscape companies, but both tell us their way is best and there is no comparable stories online that help us make this decision.
From what we’ve been told by these companies, it looks as though our house may not have been built with the basement originally. It potentially was built with a crawl space and turned into a garage then a basement. We took down some drywall and found about 3 feet of space on 2 sides with about 3-4 feet of dirt inside. We also found a basement wall with bowing and large cracks but more on that later. Most of all we found a ton of evidence of mold and water saturation along foot boards, studs, cement blocks etc. We are looking into legal options as we have had almost everyone who came to give an estimate tell us they think the previous owner was aware of the issue and was covering it up by “finishing” the basement with drywall and paint to hide cracked walls, mold, and water damage.
We just need help trying to decide what to do… My fiancé and I don’t really have any family to help so we had to clean out our whole 401k with a hardship withdrawal. We don’t want to pick the wrong thing and then be broke and still have this issue. Not to mention a few weeks ago on my fiancés birthday weekend, we had a septic issue that already costed us $8,000. (Worst birthday gift ever he said).
The exterior grading company is quoting us $12,000 to: - Remove bushes, concrete pad, concrete side walk. - Reshape, contour, raise elevation and slope away from home on 4 all sides, pipes to street s - Install 24 inch catch basin - Seed fertilizer and straw area rework. They claim it will fix the problem and we will be as good as new because water will no longer be getting into the basement.
On the interior side, we have had several quotes ranging anywhere from $16,000 - $25,000. - $18,000 for sump pump, full 4 wall interior drain channel, wall barrier and discharge line. This doesn’t fix the cracking foundation wall - $25,000 fix cracked wall and 360 all the above - $16,000 fix cracked wall and just add a sump pump with a small channel on just one wall. - $8,000 only fix crack wall, no waterproofing.
Here’s the kicker. That last 16k estimate came with a diagram the guy made to explain why the other guys exterior method won’t work and it would not fix our problem. Basically, the exterior grading can’t go deeper than the footer so the exterior grading will not stop intrusion below the basement slab or inner block wall and that it would help but not fix the issue. He said he’s not trying to make a sale but if I do go with the other guy to get in writing that “their system will completely solve my water intrusion issue and that exterior work will not compromise the already failing wall in the basement”.
At this point absolutely no idea what to do. We have to fix the cracked wall. We already have to spend another $5,000 fixing the water damage, mold, moisture and humidity issue but are lost on what to do about waterproofing.
What would you do? This set back has been a financial nightmare significantly pushing back plans for a wedding and children.
TLDR: Company A) Exterior grading/excavating/shaping around house perimeter, catch basin. “Keep water from getting inside instead of just guiding it out when it’s already inside” for 12k VS Company B) Interior sump pump, channel, discharge, wall fix, “Actually solve the problem by collecting water from all areas including under concrete slab and pump out for 16k. No idead what to do. 401k hardship withdrawal, tight budget. Super stressed. What would you do?

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows over the desolate prison yard. The air was thick with tension as Rick Grimes gathered the group around the fire. The group dispersed, each member falling into their roles. Daryl and Glenn Rhee headed towards the HMMWV, while Maggie Greene, Michonne, and Tyreese scouted the perimeter for any signs of danger. Hershel Greene and Carol Peletier tended to the wounded and kept an eye on the children.
The HMMWV stood like a silent sentinel amidst the ruins of the recent battle. The M2 was still mounted, but it had taken some damage. Daryl inspected the gun, his keen eyes assessing the repairs needed.
"Glenn, we’re gonna need parts to fix this," Daryl muttered. "Think we can find what we need at that National Guard post nearby?"
Glenn nodded, determination in his eyes. "It's worth a shot. We should head out at first light."
The next morning, a small team set out: Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Michonne, and Maggie. They moved swiftly and silently through the overgrown back roads, avoiding main routes where walkers and human threats were more likely to linger. The National Guard post loomed in the distance, a grim reminder of the world that once was.
The post was eerily quiet. Vehicles were abandoned, and the gates hung open, swaying gently in the breeze. The group approached cautiously, weapons ready. Inside, they found the remnants of a fierce battle – shell casings, spent ammunition, and the decaying remains of soldiers and walkers alike.
"Stay sharp," Rick whispered. "We don’t know what’s waiting for us in there."
The team split up, each member searching for anything useful. Glenn and Maggie located a storage room with several boxes of .50 caliber ammunition belts. They loaded them into their packs, their hearts racing with every creak and groan of the building.
In another section, Michonne found spare parts that might be useful for repairing the M2. She carefully examined each piece, selecting only what they needed. As they worked, the tension in the air grew thicker.
Suddenly, the moans of walkers filled the air. The noise had drawn a small horde, and they were closing in fast.
"Time to go!" Daryl shouted, firing his crossbow at the nearest walker.
The team regrouped, their path to the exit blocked by the undead. They fought their way through, each member displaying the skill and determination that had kept them alive this long. Rick's revolver roared, Michonne's katana sliced through the air, and Daryl's crossbow thudded with deadly accuracy.
They broke through the horde, making a mad dash for the exit. As they neared the gate, a new threat emerged – a group of armed survivors, eyes glinting with desperation.
"Drop your weapons and hand over the supplies," the leader demanded, his gun trained on Rick.
Rick’s eyes narrowed. "We’re not looking for trouble, but we’re not giving up what we found."
The standoff was tense, both sides ready to fight. But before it could escalate, the sound of an approaching walker horde distracted their adversaries. Rick seized the opportunity, signaling his team to move. They fought their way past the human threats, using the chaos to their advantage.
The journey back to the prison was fraught with tension, but they made it, battered and exhausted but triumphant. They quickly set to work, repairing the M2 with the parts Michonne had found. Hershel supervised as Glenn and Daryl loaded the belts of .50 caliber ammunition.
As night fell, the M2 stood ready, a powerful symbol of their resilience and determination. Rick looked at his weary but resolute group, pride swelling in his chest.
"We’ve got a fighting chance now," he said quietly. "We’ll keep fighting, for each other, for tomorrow."
The group nodded, united by the hardships they had faced and the hope that flickered in the darkness. They had salvaged more than just a weapon; they had salvaged their spirit and their will to survive.

I have been at my first floor apartment for three weeks now. I’m ocd clean, never leave dirty dishes, take trash out daily, vaccum and mop and clean counters frequently. My building gets sprayed monthly and I had them spray inside mine last week to be safe. My buildings last spray (perimeter) was this last Thursday two days ago. The next day I found two dead ones out in the hallway. Today I found one dead (maybe? Upside down and only antennas moving) little one, a live little one (maybe a German idk def not even an inch yet) and one huge 2” fat black one scurrying about 10” across the hall towards the people across from mes apartment. Took my dog to pee and came back ten seconds later it was gone, not sure where. I haven’t seen any signs of them inside my apartment but every night I go into a panic because I know how easy it is for them to find there way in and that there’s usually hundreds of them at once.
I live in coastal NC. It did have a mini flash flood today so not sure if that’s part of it and they were trying to get somewhere dry. What do I need to do to make sure I don’t get them? The last thing I want is an infestation. Is it normal to see them outside here? I know they’re common but it stresses me out to see them in the hallway.
Not sure if it matters but I am a corner apartment, the neighbors the big one was going towards is to the left of me (so not facing my front door) with a 10-15’ gap and hallway between. So both apartments facing the same direction but a wide hallway between them if that makes sense. And yes it is a wooded area around us

in each test, fire was unable to spread directly to the hay outside the perimeter, but could reach the red carpet squares. the thinnest diagonal firebreak is an alternating 1 and 2 tiles width

The siding on the house is open at the bottom. Do I just spray a line of Great Stuff under the entire perimeter? Found a nest under the dishwasher. Pulling it out looks outside my expertise. I’m afraid of snapping something or breaking a line. I read to douse the nest in bleach first but I’m afraid of setting something on fire. I’m still very much in victim mentality, help me get a small win and unlock hunter achievement.

Is 2x6 going to work? After the fact, I looked it up, and it seems everyone uses at least 4x6 lumber. If this is insufficient, how should I brace the lumber?
