So I adopted a three-legged cat from a rescue in 2012. She was an adult whenever they found her on the side of the road with a wire tied around her leg. The amputated the leg, spayed and chipped her, and I adopted her 6 months later. She has been the sweetest cat for years and years and has given me no issues. Literally wants to eat, sleep and snuggle all day.
In the past 4 months she has lost control of her bowels. She was having this weird drippy poop (some inside and most outside of the litter box) that immediately cemented to the carpet and also was laced with red blood. At first I thought it was because we were moving and she was stressed. I took her to the vet and they thought that she was constipated. I changed her dry food to sensitive stomach food, started giving her wet food once a day, and gave her miralax at the request of my doctor. We moved, everything is settled. Her stool was now runny, but still the same issues. We stopped the miralax. A week later she started to vomit along with the drippy, bloody stool. She basically sits in a snail position in the kitchen, shaking. I called the vet upset and they told me to bring her in. I do not have the money to bring her in just for them to brush me off when she is clearly in distress.
I do not want to see this cat suffering. Is this end of life stuff? This has been going on for a while so it can't be a sickness. They tested for parasites the last time so it's not that. She used to be pleasantly plump, and now you can feel the bones on her spine and the bottom of her ribs.
What should I say or do whenever I go into the vet this Friday? What do you think this could be? In the meantime I am giving her lots of love and trying to keep her as comfortable as I can.

I will share some tips for beginner empire players. Written 7th may, so thinks may change in the future.
1: As Nuln, if you build a garden of morr you can build the drak wizard building. It is supposed to only alow you to recruit dark magic, hower you can recruit saved wizards from all magic types.
The recruitment building gives very good garrison boost. You can now also recruit lords there. I tend to build these on points where i know i will get attack from later on in the campaign. Example: Grenzstadt to defend from skrag the ogre
2: Save level one charracters with good traits. It can make things a lot easier.
First of all “noble”. These can come in very hand. If you recruit 3 in a province over time you can build everything in one turn.
With karl franz you can use this to have tier 3 at turn 5. This gives very good units early on so you can dominate festus and the vampire granny in the south.
The second is “hochland scopes”. This gives insane range boost to gun units. If you recruit a engineer lord and 2 engineer heroes with this trait, you can boost the longrifles close to 400 range and gunners ~230.
Save good traits at all time to recruit them in other campaigns can be very helpfull. (Honereblebmention: Disciplined in wizards and priests for armywide boost.)

1. Have a send lord follow your starting army at all times. You can then always use it to bait ambushes by placing the strong army in ambush stance and the single lord not.

You can also deny reinforcements if you have 20 units in the first army. It gives boost to get more magic items.
All this while leveling him up so you can have him lead an army later on.

1. Focus on finance first in the beginning of the campaign. No point having growth when you have no gold to upgrade your settlements.
   
2. Join wars against factions very far away. This will give loads of money in the early game and the enemy won’t attack you.
   

Also join wars against factions other legendarily lords are ar war with at the start. They will get wiped out early on and you will get relations with them.
This can go wrong if you don’t know what you are doing.

1. Trede agreements work as nonaggression pacts. If someone offers a trade agreement and a nonaggression pact, and the nonaggressionpact lowers the money they will give you, remove the pact. They will not declare war. (Don’t trust the skaven tough)

This is only impactfull early game to get that extra gold to upgrade your buildings

I 26f and bf 33m have been living together for about 4 months now. We spoke before I moved in about how it would work financially. I also made it clear to him that I favor a traditional type of relationship. We agreed he would continue to pay the rent (3300), I would buy the groceries and pay for the parking space and storage unit (875), clean, cook, etc. He has lived in this place for 3 years now, paying the rent on his own.
For reference he works in finance and is making almost half a mil a year. I work in Real estate and am a nanny. My income fluctuates between 80k-100k (its been on the lower side lately with the market)
About 2 months into living together he asked me to send him money for something and said if I did I would not have to pay for the parking space or storage unit for the year. Not totally sure what his reasoning was but he offered and I agreed.
Fast forward to the past 2 months. He’s brought up how he doesn’t feel it is fair he pays all the rent and wishes he didn’t make the agreement with me about the parking and storage payment. I am happy to go back to paying those things, my issue is when someone gives you their word and doesn’t stick to it, it’s traumatic for me. My father did that all the time as a kid, saying he would do something then didn’t or said he never said that. I always stick to my word and expect the same from a significant other. But i am very okay to going back to paying the parking and storage
I love my bf but i made it clear at the beginning, I would not split rent with someone who makes 5x as much as me and has been paying pretty much exactly the same rent for the past 3 years on his own. Is there coming back from this fight if we are now both uncomfortable?

19, highschool education, world of opportunity
Hi I’m a 19 year old male who is now finally able to start looking at a careeeducation. I’ve spent the last 3 years of my life trying to get sober in and out of treatment. I was admitted to UC Irvine but went to rehab instead, and now after a year spent in a sober living I can finally begin looking at college/big boy jobs.
I currently work as a busser at a fine dining restaurant, making enough to cover rent and live reasonably comfortably. But I am finally stable enough in my sobriety to begin.
I was a decent student with a 4.3 weighted GPA so college? Only thing is I would have no financial support from anybody.
I’m a fit, strong young man, and have 100s of hours working in manual labor. So I was looking at going to electrical lineman school/starting an apprenticeship. Would be a quick way to make 6 figures in 4 years, but I don’t like the idea of working a physically taxing job with a (albeit high) salary cap until I retire.
I have plenty of opportunity to work in the treatment field, but I’m a highly driven ambitious guy and while it would be great to work in a field that I am extremely passionate about, and have a lot of experience (hahah) in, I think that I would be driven to excel and there’s plenty of money to be made but it feels unethical to profit on others pain (amongst other ethical issues that conflict with my spiritual program), and I’m worried I would lose touch with the heart of it.
I also know that as a young, smart, presentable white male, I could just go the same old fucking route wether it be sales or finance or business blah blah blah and make the connections and money blah blah and ugh. I’m sure I would do great, but I don’t know man maybe this is just fear projected as distain for wealthy business men but I don’t know I don’t know!!
Obviously it is hard to give advice with what I gave and there’s obviously a lot more to me, and my life situation. I’m open to all advice! Whether it be career or just general skill building. I’m gonna do something here soon, I can’t keep just bussing tables.

I'm 19, just finished first year of college and I'm terrified of the future and scared of becoming a useless loser who lives in my parents basement.. I have no plans for the summer, I applied for summer jobs and internships and got one interview but they turned me down afterwards. I think I will try to find work in a supermarket or coffee shop or something in my town and volunteer on the side so I can at least save money and have something to put on my resume but I feel worried that I didn't manage to get a job that would actually help my future career.. Right now I'm emailing professors to try and join their lab as an RA next fall, no luck so far but I will keep trying..
I'm hearing from people graduating from my college that they're having trouble finding job placement and everyone's talking about the job market being bad so I'm scared it'll happen when I graduate as well. What can I do so I can increase my chance of finding employment?? At the very least I know how to study and I'm finishing this year with a 4.0 gpa (although I'm a psych major at a state college so I don't think it's that impressive) but everyone says "network" and I'm really shy so I don't know how to go about it, I tried my best to talk to all my professors and people in my classes though, I don't know how much effect it had...
I would appreciate any advice at all, I just feel so lost because I have no clear path to the future (I don't have any particular interests or talents that I can easily pick a career path from) and I feel like I wasted an entire year at college already, doing nothing except studying and working part time, no research no internships or projects no nothing... Naging 4 years kami ng recent ex bf ko, let's call him B na lang. Sa 5 naging bf ko, sya yung longest na naka relasyon ko. Usually, nasa 2 years lang yung duration kase iniiwan ako. Kase raw hindi ako masyado in touch sa feminine side ko at di daw nila bet yung love language ko na "acts of service" ika nga ng mga naging ex ko. Ako kase yung type na medyo boyish. Anyways, during my relationship with B, never kong na experience yung pagiging gentleman, caring, basta yung effort nya. During courting stage lang, like around 2 months. For example, pag magkakasakit ako, naiirita sya pag nakikisuyo ako na mag papabili ng gamot or prutas (di na kase ako nakatira sa parents ko). Pag gusto ko ng lambing nya, na bu-bwisit sya. I know you'll say baka he is cheating kaya hindi sya ume-effort and all. But I can't say na he is cheating tho. I'm not defending him, its just that wala naman akong nakikita sa phone nya. Hindi ko trip yung nag che-check ng phone. Pero pag hinihiram ko yung phone nya, automatic bigay sya. Sinasabi nya yung password nya. Nag iinform sya pag nag change sya ng password nya sa phone. Sya din naman yung nanligaw sakin. So, I really don't know the reason kung bakit ganito ka bland / boring yung relationship namin. Early pa lang, na notice ko na to lahat, pero I thought na later on ay e-effort rin sya. I've waited for sooo long na mag effort rin sya. Pero wala talaga akong napala. I may be desperate, but I even came to the point that I begged him to show me even the tiniest effort na he could give. Still, wala parin. Kaya I learned not to care na lang. I stopped being the gf na who will do anything to make him feel loved and special. Wala rin naman syang pake if mag e-effort ako or hindi. I tried to break-up with him dati pa. Pero ayaw din nya maki pag break. Pag nakikipag break ako, nag e-effort sya konti. Then the next day, back to normal ulit. That is why umabot kami ng 4 years na ganyan lang yung cycle. Siguro tanga ako or martyr kase pinaabot ko pa ng 4 years. Palagi ko syang binibigyan ng chance kase nga I love him.
So eto na nga yung twist. 3 months ago (around 1st week of march), I saw an old friend of mine - let's call him G na lang. G (24 years old) & I met during college. We were good friends, also a good guy. We bumped onto each other at the mall and nag usap kami saglit. It was good talking to him kase it's been a while since the last time we saw each other. After that, I told B about it. As usuall, he didn't care at all. I didn't expect G to chat me after nung nag kita kami sa mall. But lo, and behold; nag chat sya that night. We continued to talk for us to catch up. Kamustahan sa life and sa love life. We informed each other with regards to our love life's status. G was single, while I'm in a relationship at that time. Through the years, G hasn't changed a bit. He was still the G that I met. He was fun, talkative & a great guy. We continued to talk for a month. During that time, I noticed that I found G very attractive. We like the same things like anime, music, movie, and many more. Everytime mag pop yung notification sa phone ko na nag chat sya, my heart would beat so fast tapos parang ang saya-saya ko. Later on, I realized that I think I'm falling for G na. I did not tell G about this one tho.
After this realization, I came clean to B. Last week, I told B that we need to break up 'coz I am attracted / falling for someone else - but that someone didn't know about it. B protested about it, but I was standing firm with my decision this time. I explained to him everything in order to understand my decision. But he refused to understand and call me names. Despite all of that, I still chose to end things with him. I blocked B to everything kase I don't wanna hear him anymore for calling me names & degrade me. I had heard enough of his insults, but I chose to keep quiet. G doesn't know about these things up to this day. I wasn't planning to tell him for now. Soon, maybe? I just don't know. For now, G and I were still talking. Usually, anime stuff. I'll just keep it this way na lang muna because I think this is the best thing to do right now.
In this situation, ABYG for ending things with B kase I'm attracted to G? ABYG for not thinking na may malice or whatever kase I still talk to G even if B was still my bf at that time? Please let me know your thoughts.

(In a solid match to start the crowd off hot, it’s the hometown favorites getting to challenge for the tag belts. The evil witches earn this spot by winning a tag team turmoil Raw. This serves as a breakout performance for Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, as they finally get to show what they can do on a bigger stage. Frequent tags from each lady throughout, where Bianca and Jade still look like unstoppable forces of nature. Meanwhile, Fyre and Dawn also get plenty of offense throughout. Interestingly enough, Jade uses a few heelish tactics in this match, with the honorable Bianca calling her out on it, teasing some dissension. Despite a strong effort, The Unholy Union comes up short as Jade ends Isla with a Jaded. After the match, Alba and Isla look discouraged, and as Isla goes to comfort her partner, Alba brushes her off and leaves the ring.)

Kevin Owens vs Solo Sikoa(w) (Time = 18 minutes):
(This is the end of KO’s feud with the bloodline for the time being. After coming up short in matches at Backlash and at K&QOTR due to a new Bloodline member joining the fray (Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu), Owens calls out Solo to put his money where his mouth is. He’s trying to become the new tribal chief, but from first-hand experience, KO knows he’s half the competitor Roman was. He may have his cronies with him now, but they’re half the competitors the Uso’s are. Owens then challenges Solo to one final match, no bloodline interference, just Solo and Owens one on one in a street fight. Solo, wanting to prove himself as the next tribal chief, accepts the match. It’s an intense, weapon filled brawl, here, with spots galore. They fight through the crowd, throughout the arena, a bit backstage, but finally make their way to ringside for the remainder of the match. The ending spot sees KO and Solo fighting it out on the top rope, with two tables perfectly set up in the center of the ring. Solo goes for a superplex, but Owens catches him with his typical counter. This time, however, Solo breaks out of it. With a single Spike to the throat, Sikoa manages to get KO on his shoulders for an avalanche Samoan drop through the tables. Solo then quickly recovers to lift KO for another Samoan Spike to pick up a very clean, legitimate win. After the match, Solo stands tall at the ramp, throwing up the ones with Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa at his side.)

LA Knight(w) vs Logan Paul(c) (Time = 12 minutes):
(Knight challenges Logan for the US title at K&QOTR, but loses due to interference from Logan’s content creator pals. Knight does not just let that slide, as he’s been screwed out of one too many titles that way before. So he is granted a rematch by the SD GM, Nick Aldis, much to Paul’s chagrin. In the build up, Paul is flanked to the ring for a promo by IShowSpeed and someone in a Prime Bottle Costume on an episode of SD. Midway through his promo, he’s cut off by Knight’s music, prompting Paul to go up to the entrance way to start a fight. Knight doesn’t come out that way, though, as he was in the Prime Bottle the whole time! Knight uses this to beat up Speed a bit, and yells at Logan to get into the ring, which Logan doesn’t do. The match itself is a solid encounter, with Logan showing off more of his skills against a veteran in LA Knight. Near the end of the match, Knight sets Logan up for the Megastar Elbow. He’s tripped as he goes to run the ropes, however, and it’s by none other than IShowSpeed. The ref is being distracted by one of Paul’s producer cronies on the outside, and so that allows Speed to get involved. Knight doesn’t take kindly to this, though, and drags Speed onto the apron for another beat down. As this is happening, Logan puts on his brass knuckles, but as he goes to strike Knight he dodges, leading to Paul knocking Speed out. That allows Knight to take advantage and hit the BFT to get his official first title win. A massive pop follows suit, as Knight celebrates his win with the fans.)

Liv Morgan(w) vs Becky Lynch(c) (Time = 20 minutes):
(After missing months of action at the hands of Rhea, Liv’s goal upon returning is to take out Rhea by any means necessary. She does that on the Raw after mania, but Liv makes it clear she isn’t done, she wants to take Rhea’s title away from her too. Those dreams are dashed by Becky, though, and Liv just cannot accept that. After retaining her title at K&QOTR, Becky is viciously attacked by Liv, cementing Morgan as a heel. Morgan justifies this by saying that it was “because of you people”. She was the one who was out of action for months due to Rhea, and while she was gone, Rhea got more popular than ever. When she returned the favor, now she’s the bad guy. Why should she have to act honorably for a bunch of fans who hate her already, and so she decides she’ll take her opportunities the way she wants to. Becky responds to this by taking Liv out herself, and telling her that if she wants another opportunity, she can have it, at Clash at the Castle. This is an equally matched affair, hearkening back to their previous matches in two years prior, but this time the roles are reversed. Liv uses many cheap tactics to get advantage throughout, but Becky does mount a lot of big comebacks to gain control. Near the end, Liv would go for a powerbomb, but Becky would counter it with a hurricanrana. She then would transition into an arm bar, before locking in a Disarm-Her. It's a lengthy struggle, with Liv on the verge of tapping, throughout, but she somehow manages to get to the ropes. Knowing she’s in trouble, Liv goes to the corner to recuperate, and takes off the middle turnbuckle pad in the process. As Becky then approaches her to end things, Liv throws her into the exposed turnbuckle pad. Morgan then catches Becky with an ObLivion for the victory. Liv has finally beaten Becky to become the women’s champion again, and now she’s on the next leg of her “revenge tour”.)
-WWE Undisputed Championship Match:
Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes(c)(w) (Time = 16 minutes):
(Cody would come into this event needing a new challenger. That would come in the form of a Fatal 4 Way #1 Contenders match on SD, which would be won by Cody’s former mentor, Randy Orton. During the build to the match, the two would act just like old friends. They’d tell stories reminiscing on their history together, and how they both never thought a day like this would come. On the go home edition of SD, Cody and Randy would be in the ring together for a final face off. They’d both reaffirm their love and respect for each other, as Cody would lead the charge by stating, “may the best man win.” Cody extends his hand, and Randy accepts, but before Cody turns away, Randy pulls him closer. Very coldly, he tells Cody that while things are all fun and games now, it will be very different at the PPV. He loves and respects Cody, but Randy warns him that he has done horrible things to people he loves and respects in the past simply because a title was on the line. He tells him that at the Clash at the Castle, the best man will win. Cody, undeterred, agrees, and the confrontation ends in a staredown. This is an evenly matched encounter, with both men using their best offense to take each other down. It’s a big, atmospheric match, which is when both men perform best. The climatic portion of the match sees the men frantically try to set up the other for their finishers, to no avail. The end is a total slugfest, with the men throwing as many strikes as they can at each other, but neither goes down. Cody soon hits a superkick and goes for a Cody Cutter, but Orton moves out of the way. Randy then hits the RKO, but doesn’t make the cover straight away as he sells his back. After about 10 seconds, he finally is able to lean on Cody to get a cover, but Cody manages to turn him over into a crucifix pin to get the win. Instead of celebrating after the match, Cody walks over to Randy and extends his hand. This time, Randy knocks his hand away, before going in for a hug. He raises Cody’s arms in victory, and as Cody starts to celebrate some more, the viper strikes with an RKO. Randy betrays Cody, angered at the idea of him losing out on another title win.)
-WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match:
Drew McIntyre(w) vs Damien Priest(c) (Time = 22 Minutes):
(On the Raw after K&QOTR, Priest and the Judgment Day would be in the ring, where Priest would address the fact that they are neglecting his desire to do things on his own. He knows how the group usually operates, but that’s not how he wants himself presented as a world champion. In his mind, a world champion should be honorable and dominant, and should not have to rely on his faction to win his battles for him. Rhea didn’t get that energy when she was champ, so why should he? Right before the argument gets heated, Drew would make his long awaited Raw return. He would tell the group that he’s waited long enough, for he was screwed out of the title and everyone knows it, and he should now be given his opportunity for redemption in his home country. The rest of the group laughs it off, and claims he will never get another opportunity, but Priest surprisingly accepts. He states that it is his job to show the world he is not afraid to defend his title against all challengers. He also wants to prove that he could defeat Drew all by himself. The other members of Judgment Day think he’s crazy, but the damage is already done, and the match is made official. Priest once again gives them specific instructions to not get involved under any circumstances. The rest of the build sees Drew and Priest go at it in promos, with Priest sounding more like a face with each passing week. On the go-home edition of Raw, Drew would be out for a promo when he’d be interrupted by CM Punk. Drew would be annoyed, as Punk would stand in the rafters amongst the fans to cut his promo. He’d once again reaffirm that it doesn’t matter if Drew is champ or not, because Punk will be back soon, and when he comes back he’s going to make him wish he didn’t re-sign. Drew, irritated, asks Punk if he only came out to mock him, and Punk tells him no, he came out as a distraction. Drew is then set up for a sneak attack by Finn and McDonagh of the Judgment Day, but Priest soon runs out to stop it. He tells them it’s enough, dismisses him, and just looks at a defenseless Drew in the ring. The segment ends with him holding up his title in the air over top of a fallen McIntyre. Drew makes a triumphant entrance in front of the Scotland crowd along with the return of “Broken Dreams”! Drew and Priest have a very high intensity match, as the two powerhouses use various big moves to weaken each other down. It's a match meant to help Priest prove he can work a main event styled match, and it hopefully works in his favor. The middle portion sees a very high intensity battle, with each man getting close near falls out of each other's big moves. The ending sequence of the match sees Drew set Priest up for a Claymore, but he inadvertently hits the ref instead. Going against their orders, the rest of the Judgment Day come out anyway, in an attempt to interfere. They begin to beat down Drew, before Finn gets a bright idea to grab the world title and strike Drew with it. As Finn is getting him set up, Priest puts a stop to it. He grabs his title and throws it aside, before verbally chastising him. Finn, annoyed, slaps Priest across the face. Damien responds by hitting him with a South of Heaven. Whilst Priest is telling the other two members off, he’s hit in the head with his world title by Drew. McIntyre just looks at JD and Dom, as the two of them leave the ring, shocked at what had just transpired. Drew then backs up into the corner and hits Priest with a Claymore. Drew gets the pin, and the ref then gets back into the ring to count the three. After the match, Drew getting a huge celebration filled with light pyro and tons of confetti. There are no cash-ins, no CM Punk, and no other disruptions. Drew just gets his crowning moment in front of the fans to end off the show.)

A Sailor Moon inspired legacy challenge for the Sims 4
I have always enjoyed playing Legacy Challenges and wanted to one day attempt to make my own. While I am certain there are Sailor Moon Legacy challenges out there, I couldn't find one that suited my fancy, so I decided to create my own updated version. I'm also trying to utilize as many packs/occults/gameplay that I don't usually use. I am currently on gen 8 of my not-so-berry challenge, so I'll probably tackle playtesting this once I get close to finishing that one. But if anyone has feedback beforehand or knows if something doesn't work or just feels that the character inspiration doesn't really fit the generational goals, I would love the input.
Basic Rules:

1. Money cheats can be used, but I wouldn't recommend using it extensively since that's half the fun. But who am I to tell you how you'd like to play
2. Mods and CC are okay to use. Feel free to make the heirs look as similar or as different than their counterpart.
3. You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.
4. All heirs must have a human lifespan unless otherwise stated. Heirs can be either male or female. Just because you're a Pretty Guardian, doesn't mean you have to be a girl. c:
5. You may have as many children and you'd like unless otherwise stated. Marriage and Live-in Partners are optional, unless otherwise stated in the challenge.
6. Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.
7. Would recommend keeping the lifespan on normal, but you may play on whatever lifespan or custom lifespan if you so desire.
8. Feel free to accept any additional self discoveries, just don't switch personalities unless otherwise stated.
9. Please take advantage of the Reward traits and potions to help you through each generation

The notification chimed on Jake's phone, drawing his immediate attention to Stacy's messages on the messaging app. "You're like the perfect guy. You're fit, handsome, funny, smart. But you're too short for me", her words cut through him like a blade.
"You're like 5'0, bitch!" Jake exclaimed, his frustration boiling over. "Even as a short guy, I am four inches taller than you. How am I not tall enough? I hate wom—"
"What the hell did you just say?" A piercing, feminine voice interrupted him.
Startled, Jake turned to see a short, blue-haired girl glaring up at him, radiating anger. He hesitated, half-expecting her to pounce on him.
"I just got rejected for the hundredth time," Jake lamented. "I did everything the internet said: gym, money, hygiene, even touched grass. And you know what she said? That I'm not tall enou—"
"PERSONALITY!" she screamed, her voice cutting through the air like a siren. "YOUR SHITTY PERSONALITY!"
"But you don't even know me" Jake protested weakly. "You don't even know if I am a good person or not. You don't even know how much I love my family, my friends, how well I take care of them."
"PERSONALITY!" she insisted. "It's your shitty personality. Take 35323 more showers and just TOUCH GRASS."
"So you're saying you'd date a guy as short as me, 5'4, if he had a good personality?"
"Yes. I love short guys, I've crushed on many," she affirmed.
As the words left her mouth, A gigantic man entered the hallway. He was so tall he had to bend to get through the door. The short woman infront of Jake looked back at the man with sparkling eyes. He slowly made his way to her and put his hand on her shoulder, palm almost as big as her head.
"Hey babe," he rumbled, his gaze dismissing Jake like a bothersome insect. "Who's this guy?"
"You just said you liked short guys," Jake pointed out.
The short woman's annoyance was palpable. "I'm 4'11, and my husband is 6'5," she declared proudly, as if it were a trophy. Like she was bragging. She let the number hang in the air for a minute while she reveled in her pride.
"6'5" she said again, as if she enjoyed the sound of that number "But I didn't seek him out for his height. He has such a wonderful personality."
"You just need confidence, bro," the tall man interjected.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Jake exclaimed.
That night, jake went home and fucking killed himself. Because the world was a fucking joke, and he didn't want to be the punchline anymore.

PLEASE DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE FED-EX!My DISABLED son (who had no job) saved up for THREE YEARS his hard-earned money to order a special--and very expensive (nearly $1000)--radio/scanner for his hobby. Fed-Ex UK got it out quickly and efficiently--to the MAIN CORPORATE HUB of Fed-Ex in Memphis, TN. And even at their MAIN CORPORATE location, they can't get it right! Pkg left UK 4/11/24; arrived Memphis TN 4/13/24; today is 5/7/24 and pkg STILL HASN'T LEFT MEMPHIS! First they claimed the packaging was so badly destroyed that label was lost and they couldn't ID the radio; I sent them MULTIPLE PROOFS it was mine -- the SERIAL #, pictures, the invoice, even the website from which it was ordered. Still Fed-Ex claimed they're "still investigating" and "aren't sure the radio they've found is REALLY mine." SHIPPER sent them invoice and again told them SERIAL #, which is the ONE PRIMARY IDENTIFIER for the item--STILL they say "well, this doesn't match the part #"---when it's the SERIAL # they should match!--can't anyone there READ?!? Then they send MY BOSS a bill for customs and duty--my BOSS is not even INVOLVED with this! He just allowed me to have it shipped c/o my work address! Hi all,
I have been watching Charlotte for a long while now, and what I love most about her channel is her down to earth, empathetic approach to her reactions. So, in light of that, I wonder if anyone can help me.
A few years ago I was involved in a really nasty abusive relationship. The man for sure is narcissistic, his brother believes he has a full blown personality disorder. It's fair to say after years of emotional and at times physical abuse, I came out of the relationship a shell of my former self. I had little to no self esteem, and thought very little of myself. I have since engaged in CBT which has helped a whole lot.
I have a friend, who I'll call "Tom". Tom was my best friend throughout all of this, and he saw the abuse before I did, and in a lot of ways, I feel he saved me from it. Fast forward a few years and Tom and I started dating, we have been dating now for 2 years and living together for just short of one year.
Here's where I need the help please. I am VERY aware of how abuse can impact how you go forward, it can cause a person to believe they are being abused by others, because frankly when people are nice to you after that, it's hard to trust that it is coming from a loving place. So since moving in together it feels like Tom is different, and I have to assume it's because I'm triggered. I'm just not sure how to stop being upset about it, I want to cry most days and I don't feel very loved or cared for, but I know it's because I don't know much different than gaslighting and manipulation.
Anyway, some of the things Tom has said, for some context, are as follows:

1. He has told me that he doesn't want to talk about my work or job because its not interesting and it's my responsibility to make things interesting so people want to listen to it. This has now been extended to include the gym. He basically told me when I talk about my work/gym I'm one sided and selfish in the way I talk. I asked for clarity and he said its similar to when children drone on about a show no one has watched.
2. He asked me dress more feminine, both outdoors and to bed, he wasn't keen on me wearing boxers and a shirt to bed, cos it's not sexy.
3. We live with a roommate who is also his best friend, he has told me that he is more open to conversation with the roommate because its easier and flows better than talking to your girlfriend.
4. He wants me to make friends so I can discuss the interests he doesn't want to discuss with me, he does seem to want me to only be friends with women. (I moved a long way from home to be with him, so I don't know anyone in the area)
5. I've noticed if I remove all of the conversation topics he has complained to me for talking about, we only really talk about his job, the household stuff and money. We also talk about hobbies, (where we are both engaged in them).

Thing is, I'm finding all of this upsetting, largely because we used to talk about all sorts, and that is a huge part of who I am, but since I move in it feels like a lot of rules are being imposed. However, I an very aware that in my addled mind, it all seems controlling and scary, but I know Tom and he does love me, I don't think he's being harsh, I think it's how I'm reacting, cos I'm scared of being hurt or treated like that again.
I'm wondering if anyone knows any ways, or has any techniques etc that help you to see things clearly? I feel like I'm trapped in an old mindset, and that I get triggered and can't see passed it, which is making me unhappy.
Any advice?
