Edit to add the ages: I 26f, boyfriend m25, brother m16 I know family is important and all that. But today, while I was visiting, his little brother moved in, 2 or 3 days notice. It's a 2 bedroom flat and now I don't feel at home anymore. Around 3pm he arrived, we had to clean beforehand. Every time I visit, I have to help him clean, I clean up after myself, but he is kinda depressed and somewhat lazy, so to feel comfortable, we always start my visits with cleaning and washing clothes etc. Told him, it was getting exhausting for me. And now I have also come down with a nasty cough, but we had to clean. I did my best, up to the point where I had to cough so much, my breakfast had a comeback, while he was off to the pharmacy and also getting his dog a new harness. I cleaned his kitchen, cleaned out his refrigerator, food over a week old as he was at mine Monday to Sunday last week. Yummy. When he came home, he told me to get off the sofa, because the living room was still a mess, but I needed to lay down. He put me to bed. Then asked me to come back 15 mins later, but I was cozy in bed. Soon after, his brother arrived, I excused myself to the lady driving him there because I was sick. Then I joined them in the living room, still just sitting, because the morning had been exhausting, helping him put together his nightstand, then having to clean and do the laundry. But he needed help hanging up his wall tapestries, so I helped again, while brother sorted trough his bags. Then I took a shower and afterwards just lay in bed reading, needing space. He later invited me to come smoke one (yeah I know smoking with a cough) and I mentioned, I didn't feel comfortable anymore. He asked me if I wanted to leave and I said I was considering it. But it was around 8pm at that time and there are no good train connections anymore if I don't want to spend around 4 hours of my time at some train station, on top of the 5 hour commute. When I said I considered going home, he went quiet, then just stood up and left me sitting at the table. So I went back into the bedroom, continued reading. He entered sometimes, not saying anything to me, so I put in my headphones. And then I had panic attacks and crying fits for 2 hours, but I can hide well. He has layed down next to me, saying nothing, I would have heard, because I played my audiobook really quietly. He also didn't touch me and I just lay there crying. I know I could have said something. I tried to sleep till 11 but couldn't manage, so I put a lamp on my head to read, which drove his dog crazy, woke him up, he then went to sleep with his brother on the couch, but I just couldn't contain my crying. He then came back, got angry at me, didn't let me explain, told me his living situation had nothing to do with me yada yada and then threatened to kick me out. I said okay. I'll look for a taxi, looked. Then he got dressed, told me to pack my things and he'd drive me home. At 12 in the night. He also got his brother and his dog, who both can't stay home together alone (actually just the dog, don't know why he had to get his brother as well, but didn't ask). The address in his Navi wasn't my home, but a train station somewhere in the middle where there were still trains driving. At a gas station I got out, bought us all drinks and then he just started cruising. After the 4th missed tourn to that train station I asked where we were going and he said he's realised he was just to tired for that drive. And after 1.5 hours we got back to his place. I didn't talk to anyone, didn't want to take my headphones off and have been sitting in the kitchen for quite some time to take the first train at 4 in the morning. Just have to wait one more hour, then I am out. I really thought I'd handle the change better, but I feel like an intruder when I enter the living room, because now someone lives there but also I can't to anything in the bedroom really except reading, as nothing is set up, no TV console anything. Mind you, he has been living here for 7 months and just recently got the bedroom ready. I know, depression can be hard and I've helped every way I could, but it has been draining on me too as I am also not the most stable and cant possibly keep up doing two households, because he also just cant tidy up after himself at my place, which i have often times asked him to., just to please throw aways his tissues and put his mugs and plates in the dishwasher. Well. Today he also put up his wall mount for the TV, made a mess in the living room, then went to buy some plants and asked me to clean the mess up. I said no and layed back in bed reading after trying to get the dog to stop barking for 20 minutes. This also wasn't the first incident with his brother. Some weeks ago we said we'd be gaming again together, I really looked forward to it because he had lost interest in gaming with me but then he said he wanted to and I was happy. Just that day his brother decided to run from his children's home (kinda like an orpanage kind of thing but I lack better words) and came to him. Was disappointed, but could understand. Police took him back the same evening, we said we'd game the next day, when I was ready, he told me to wait 4 hours, because he wanted to play warzone. Thanks but no thanks, I got in my bike and visited some friends in the city, because, like I told him, I don't want to wait as I've been waiting really long. Sucked, but was okay. Next incident. His brother ran away, again, this time with a friend, they showed up at his place just the weekend before we planned on going on a little vacation with hiking etc. He asked if he could bring the kids. First I was okay, but then I started thinking through it and worst case we could get sued because none of the state installed giuds caregivers whatever or the children's home knew where they were, they were searched by the police and it wasn't a school holiday. But I also wasn't comfortable with him, leaving the kids all by themselves at his. He told me, that's none of my business, so I kept my mouth shut but stressed a little in my head. But mostly everything went well, his kitchen knives got dull in the dishwasher and his favourite mug lost it's coating, but that's about it. No accidents. "they promised Mey if they could stay the week, they'd be going back, do their 'finals' (kinda different in my country) and not run away again, till those are over" didn't happen. Got taken by police away again, because he let them stay another week. She came back again, got taken away again, he was somewhere being kept safe or didn't run. I don't know. But in the span of the last week something happened, he got kicked out of that home and now lives with him since today. All the incidents were this month. And now this 2 room flat is crowded and I can't do anything anymore here because it feels like invading a teens privacy and boyfriend is angry at me for being moody the whole day, I was just in a bad mood after that good conversation at 8 pm.
Sorry for the word salad, I just had to get it off of my chest. TL;Dr: I feel like invading a newly moved in teens privacy when doing anything I used to do in my boyfriends flat, had panic attacks over the issue and now he's angry with me. Taking the first train home at 4 in the morning without sleep

My wife and her friend were the ones that made the books and got them to the Sleepy ones. My Wife's friend got to see the confirmation from Vess, however there was a tall guy in front of my wife and she didn't get to see (she still totally lost it when she was told what happened). I've been constantly searching since the show and have as yet been unsuccessful, so pleas if you have some video please please let me make my wife's day even better!

Kansas City is host to the MLD Family conference June 19-22, and we are in search of a DJ for our dance party celebration on the night of the 22nd. This conference is for families with children who have a rare disease called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy. This is a genetic, terminal disease that affects 1 in 40,000 children. The conference is our yearly gathering and sometimes the only chance some of us have to meet each other. It’s also our opportunity to grieve those we have lost in the last year.
The organizer asked me to help look for a DJ and a photographer for the event as I am in the Midwest and they are not. This will take place at the airport Marriott Hotel. Total time is about three hours plus set up and teardown. It is paid, but I don’t know how much at the moment. They also provide you with dinner. (I’m not clear on compensation for the photographer just yet, so if you’re a photographer reading this, let me know if you’re interested and we will figure out those details.) They did say they can offer a tax receipt and exchange for services. For the DJ, we’re looking for someone who has experience doing weddings or other fun dance events with kids. This dance party is special and super fun because our kids can be kids without having people stare at them because they are in wheelchairs and unable to move, speak and more. And their siblings get to be with other kids who “get it.”

I recently did some light construction in the back yard and I have an old fence and some busted concrete to dispose of. Other places I've lived you just roll up to the landfill and they charge you a small entry fee and then charge by weight.
My neighbor told me that the Odessa Republic landfill has a $25 minimum??!! I can't confirm this online but he was just there, and checking the Midland landfill it also has a $25 access fee if you don't pay for a $500 garbage haulers license.
No wonder I've seen more illegal dumping here than anywhere else I have lived. It's too darn expensive to throw anything away. Are there any other alternatives?
I've got maybe 3 pickup loads total and the thought of needing to pay a minimum of $75 to throw this stuff away is crazy.

Checked the mags, most of them are leak free apart from two, I checked and lubricated them so they may reseal, selling as a lot only, comes with case and mags as shown 4 of the guns work great, the Polymer80 is a little finicky sometimes, it light strikes and doesn't cycle correctly (some part is not connecting with the gas release valve on the mags consistently, might just be some of the mags), the P80 and APS mags are interchangeable/work in both guns.

My boyfriend's mother is beginning to show signs of possessiveness over him and act weirdly controlling over him. Mind you, he's 24 but she's starting to treat him like a misbehaving young teen. Before I came into the picture, he was allowed to do whatever he wanted. Go out, hang out with his guy friends, stay out late, go to clubs, see other girls, that was all totally fine.
We've been together 7 months and she's imposing more and more rules on him. Now he has to be in the house by 9 p.m., he isn't allowed to use his phone in her presence... even though the rules don't apply to his 16 and 21 year old sisters, she wants him to clean after the whole family and be the man of the house even though she's got a husband who lives with them too and the other kids get off scot free and do whatever they want. They don't have partners either, FYI.
She doesn't allow him to text or communicate with me on "family days" including movie nights or going to the county fair, but the girls get to post their Instagram stories all the time. It's like she's forcing him to pay attention to her.
We had plans to all go to the LA county fair together, then at the last minute she decided to take them all on a Sunday when I was working because she wanted to go on Mother's Day so I couldn't come, and she said he and I could go together another day. That never happened. (He bought me a cute little trinket from there to let me know he was still thinking of me.)
She said she "never gets to see him anymore".... THEY LIVE TOGETHER. He gets off work at 1:30 p.m. and she sees him every day of the week, I don't know what she's talking about because I come over more than I bring him to my house or we go out (trying to save $). Sounds like a jealousy issue or insecurity to me because apparently that's not enough, I guess me being in the picture takes attention away from her and she has a little issue with that.
He never had a curfew before, but as of last week he has to be home by 9 p.m. "so she can still see him". He's passed out on the couch any time after that because he works early-early mornings. One time he accidentally left something at my house so my mom and I drove by to return it just as he came from work, and she and my mom were chatting away and when he hugged me, his mom said "young love..." in this whimsical voice that lowkey came off as patronizing and that gave me the ick. It's been 7 months, why the comment when she's used to me by now? This "I never get to see you" stuff.
Oh, and as a gift celebrating 7 months he got me a beautiful, big bouquet of pastel pink (my favorite color) roses. I got him a half-pound box of See's Candies chocolates and truffles, including his favorite kind. His family waited until he was at work, went into his room, stole them and ate them all and he only got to have one KNOWING IT WAS A GIFT FOR HIM FROM ME. And he fought with them when he found out, and nobody would own up to who did it even though his mom has plenty of candy bars by her desk for everyone to get but they wanted THOSE. Hmmm.
Today, we planned for me to come over for half the day and spend the other half with my parents so that we didn't have to miss each other since this is a rare day he has Monday off (Memorial day) and still spend time with our families. But as soon as we made this plan, his mom threw a tantrum and yelled at him - because this family has poor communication skills and no consideration - because his dad wanted to visit his father's grave, which they hadn't done in 12 years even though it isn't far away. This resulted in a fight. But he tried to be his own man and stand up for himself, asking why that's sooo important now since they haven't cared about going to the grave for 12 years and she got PISSED. He stormed outside and called me anyway despite the stupid "no phone" rule.
I actually kind of sensed she would have a problem with me coming over today, like my presence would be inconveniencing her.
Yelling and getting angry at him for his plans to see me when she dropped the cemetery thing on him at the very last second isn't his fault. He didn't do anything wrong when both his parents just chose not to tell him or give him a heads up. It sounds weird and personal. And it really irks me that they don't allow him to use his phone or text/call me in their presence. You can't force someone to pay attention to you. They should give him more age appropriate autonomy, seeing as he's 24 and not 13. But she basically wants him to act like I don't exist when I'm not there. Out of sight, out of mind.
WTF is going on here? Am I getting a little delulu or is mama trying extra hard to be the main and make me the side chick here?

A while back someone asked for a writeup I did a while ago on the SCP Foundation and the Technocracy. I couldn't reply to the original post, so here's a new one.
Found it. Here you go.
SCP Foundation- The sorcerers of the Technocracy. As the world continues to progress towards disaster, and the loss of so many high ranking Technocrats to the Avatar Storm, the time has come for these techno-sorcerers to shine. While lacking in raw power perhaps, their immunity to paradox is of the utmost importance in areas where statistical inevitability is unacceptable. As a result, the SCP foundation has been created. For those familiar with the standard SCP, in this reality, they still secure,contain and protect under the supervision of the O5 Council, however this O5 Council is compromised of Awakened members of the Technocracy, who, although they still monitor their charges for signs of Awakening, otherwise read their after action reports and let them do their work, taking a hands off approach in this age of TAMURDs, NAMURDs and truces.
There are three approaches to how this amalgamation- White Hat, Grey Hat, Black Hat.
White Hat
White Hat assumes the Technocracy is genuinely cares about humanity and is concerned about what it is doing to the planet in a general sense. Furthermore, they are more genuine than not with respect to their efforts to mend fences with the Council of Nine- the Progroms and overall hostility associated with the Technocracy was a facet of Control,whom they have lost contact with(although there are still infrequent though serious attempts to reestablish contact with Control, most of the more nefarious aspects of the Technocracy are stranded behind the Avatar Storm/Dimensional Anomaly as they have been absorbed by Control). Social Conditioning is (usually) aimed at rehabilitative therapies and hovers around levels 1 to 3, with 4 to 6 being seen as...distasteful, and 7 and up being seen as going overboard. Room 101, however, is reserved for complete and total fuckups. The SCP itself is overseen by the Technocracy as a whole, and is the face of the truce as they give the Technocracy a chance focus on bigger fish than the Potters. In the other direction, the SCP itself knows little of the Technocracy just as how the average member of the SCP knows little of the O5 Council; however, the amount of magical, magickal, Enlightened and unEnlightened Procedures means that there are more opportunities for the little fish of the SCP to learn just how big of an Awakened ocean they are in, usually by accident.
Grey Hat
Grey Hat assumes the Technocracy is concerned about humanity in general and is upset about what they are doing to the planet, but believe they have things more or less under control. This approach is closer to "standard" M20, with a few caveats. The Technocracy is not especially interested in mending fences with the Council of Nine as most agree with Control that Reality Deviants are dangerous and are best opposed, but very much disagree with even that hoary amalgamated individual on the form that opposition should take- the Pogrom was distasteful at best, an outrageous embarrassment at worst, an overall a heavy handed and clumsy approach best left in the past(although there are still regular, active attempts to reestablish contact with Control). No, no, these "mages" are best outdone through subtlety, not eliminated through oafish wetwork. After all, the Masses like the comforts of modern technology and are moving along with the Time Table. In approach, the Technocracy makes heavy use of the SCP to tie down dangers to their paradigm while they continue to move the Time Table forward. The Traditions and others are outdated and a non-threat, and working with them on occasion through the SCP has only proven the weakness of "magical" paradigms overall. Social Conditioning is used regularly, although anyone over level 5 is seen an overzealous and potentially dangerous individual. Room 101 is rarely used internally(that's what the higher levels of Social Conditioning are for), but instead are reserved dangerous Reality Deviants. The SCP is overseen by the Technocracy in a very general sense, as they are more a tool used by the Technocracy to keep moderately dangerous but still useful Reality Deviants anything from busy to under wraps. They are occasionally used as a weapon against them, but this is rare as the SCP is more like a blunt instrument that can occasionally free up resources(i.e Mobile Task Forces sent in before any enlightented agents are used) than a scalpel for sensitive work(although they are occasionally called upon to do just that) or even a reliable sidearm.
Black Hat
The Technocracy is upset with humanity and what they are doing to the planet directly. The Technocracy is further dismayed by the loss of Control and is actively and regularly attempting to restablish contact while keeping the last orders received going (i.e. the Pogrom) although at a lower rate due to the lack of raw might(lost a lot of HIT Marks and the like due to the Dimensional Anomaly). The Technocracy are very much the "bad guys" of the setting, with the Ascention Truce being a project funded and staffed by the Friends of Courage, Cassandra Complex, Void Engineers, and Challenge Fate Foundation exclusively- a glimmer of light within the dark. The Technocracy only works with the Traditions through the SCP, and even then on rare occasion. Social Conditioning is used regularly, with anyone under level 3 being distrusted as well as consigned to the most menial tasks (and continually encouraged to be processed to increase loyalty). Levels 4 through 6 are seen as not particularly bad, at 7 and 8 someone must have done SOMEthing to be at that level(depends on the individual's reputation), while 9 and 10 are seen as...distasteful. Room 101 is used regularly for both Unmutual Technocrat and Tradition "recruit" alike, along with a handful of unlucky souls outside of either extreme deemed too useful to simply eliminate. Despite their relatively low place on the totem pole, the SCP Foundation is the only way a Technocrat can interact with the Council in anything approaching peace offically(and if unofficial, they better not get caught, or it's either "be seeing you..." or a quick ride in the 6th seat to 101-ville). Otherwise, the SCP Foundation is something between a distraction and an utterly disposable weapon, used to keep Reality Deviants that may or may not be affiliated with the Council of Nine tied down until they can be dealt with in a more permanent fashion.
Clearance level-
In White Hat games, clearance level is equal to a character's Social Conditioning +1. In Grey Hat games it is equal to Social Conditioning, and in Black Hat games it is Social Conditioning -1.
SCP Overall Goals
White Hat Secure, Contain, Protect, with each part of the organization working harmoniously to achieve their goals. Technosorcery in humanity's interest, Technosorcery in the Technocracy's interest, Containing Reality Deviants, Communicating With Reality Deviants, Working With Reality Deviants.
Grey Hat Secure AND Contain, and in emergency situations, these two disparate portions of the organization combine to form Protect. Technosorcery in the Technocracy's interest, Containing Reality Deviants, Eliminating Reality Deviants.
Black Hat Secure OR Contain OR Protect with each aspect of the organization not really aware of the other. Technosorcery in the Technocracy's Interest, Cleaning up the aftermath of Reality Deviants, Communicating With Reality Deviants(often unaware), Eliminating Reality Deviants(often used as cannon fodder).
D Class Personnel
White Hat In a White Hat game, almost all D Class Personnel are death row inmates or other people tried and found guilty of horrific crimes- and the majority of them actually are guilty. Some find themselves as D Class Personnel for purely political reasons, but these are usually given comparitively light duties when the SCP is aware of their circumstances- these folks end up caring for up to moderately dangerous creatures/missions. A few are clones. The vast majority are given mundane medical treatment when things go wrong, some recieve medical unEnlightened Procedures, a rare few enjoy medical Enlightened Procedures when a major fuck up occurs outside of everyone's control.
Grey Hat Death row inmates, violent felons, sociopaths, and more can be found in the uniform, some of them are actually guilty of what they have been accused of. Political prisoners from countries that have undergone a change in management are also unfortunately swept up in it all, and while these are usually given light to moderate duties, death and dismemberment are a real possibility. Mundane medical treatment is common, but not guaranteed. Medical unEnlightened Procedures are almost unheard of.
Black Hat Prison - and other- "volunteers" of all stripes, although their skills are considered heavily before recruitment. No small amount are here for political reasons, including failed and processed Technocrat and Tradition mages, demoted SCP staff, unaware college students who sign up for a mysterious "study", homeless and other people who have no options. Duties of all types are equally feasible, dismemberment is commonplace, death happens. Medical treatment is infrequent at best.
Mobile Task Forces
White Hat Usually consist of highly trained mundane forces with sorcerers leading the fire teams. Rarely disbanded. Used frequently with an eye towards securing, containing, and protecting, will also investigate regularly as well. Have a lot of specialized units as well as equipment- some of it is even anomalous.
Grey Hat Usually consist of adequately trained mundane forces with sorcerers sometimes leading fire teams. Sometimes disbanded after use, often called in to secure(entry points), and protect(people who may be exposed to unsuual things), but rarely do containment(this is for the Technocracy proper). Also rarely if ever, used for investigative purposes.- this is usually left to sorcerous agents. Have standard weaponry, only team leaders use high or heavy weaponry. Have a modest amount of specialized units and equipment, a few are anomalous.
Black Hat Usually consist of modestly trained mundane forces, with the leaders often being the genuine article but sometimes not having much more training than those they lead. Teams are regularly disbanded and recreated with new leadership. Those who survive missions are sometimes "promoted" to D Class Personnel, or retired (read: liquidated), especially if wounded. Always called upon to secure both sites and individuals, often as cannon fodder. Rarely protect others, never do containment but often do cleanup. Have modest mundane weaponry, rarely if ever get access to high or heavy mundane weaponry, none are anomalous. Have a small amount of specialized units, but most teams are recruited from "promoted" D-Class Personnel and are used as shock troops akin to a suicide squad.
SCP Ethics Department
White Hat Regularly makes use of after action reports to ensure the organization is maintaining high levels of ethics, if not morality(which is still taken seriously). I'm a long-time lurker who gathered the courage to post. I will stick to the facts, but it's hard. I also posted this in the legal advice section because it made sense to me.
On 4/12, my AC entered its death rattle.
On 4/24, I let the rental office know it was dead (through the tenant portal)
Four different quotes were obtained between 4/24 and 4/29. The repair techs came in, looked at the HVAC closet and thermostat, and left. They all determined it was DOA and needed to be replaced.
On 4/30, I requested status, but none was available
On 5/1, I went around to the office. The on-site landlord said the hold-up is with the property mgmt company based in Texas.
On 5/2, I dropped off a letter stating my grievances and gave seven days to repaireplace the AC, or rent abatement begins on 5/10. I also sent the letter by certified mail. I know that's eight days, but I didn't want to lose in court on a technicality or deduct one cent more than entitled, so I gave them an extra day.
On 5/10, they drop off a portable unit.
On 5/16, the unit starts alternating between warm and cold air. A message was sent using the tenant portal.
On 5/19, all the power in my bedroom went out, and the unit appeared dead. I rearranged my power situation and plugged it into the last remaining outlet. It worked for 10 minutes and shut off. I decided not to press my luck because I had one outlet left and no overhead light.
On 5/20, the maintenance man stopped by but could not determine the cause. He said my one outlet is powering multiple others and that an electrician would be called.
On 5/22, the on-site landlord called to say the property management company had selected an HVAC company and the parts and equipment were ready. However, two documents showing "compliance" are missing; she does not expect them to be fixed until next week. An electrician is in the works, but they're having difficulty "getting in touch" with him.
On 5/24, I sent a message and desperately tried to get a status on the electrician because the temps were expected to hover in the low 90s.
On 5/27, I roast. If it's 90 outside, guess what the inside temperature is? I could purchase a portable AC, but I already have the one they provided and have no more power outlets or windows to place it in.
They have a policy that when the outside temperature is 85 deg or greater, it's considered an emergency, so I've lit them up with an emergency maintenance request for every day that exceeded it.
My questions are: 1) Would this (the AC and power issue) be considered constructive eviction? 2) Should I contact code enforcement knowing that they will retaliate by never replacing my AC? Would this strengthen my case? 3) Does NM allow tenants to put their rent in escrow - please say yes; I think the answer is no; I searched high and low for it. 4) When I abate rent for June, do I wait for them to sue me? The tenant portal is showing the total rent amount due for June. 5) is the best way to end this saga to move and sue them for constructive eviction?
Answers: 1) my lease does list HVAC as their responsibility to repair in a reasonable time frame. 2) my community is advertised with central AC. 3) I have a serious email and tenant portal paper trail going on. 4) I am and have been a 100% on-time, drama-free tenant during the entirety of my tenancy. 5) I work from home. Since the AC is dead, I leave my front door, sliding glass, and window open while working and attending meetings; it's a major noise nuisance; 6) I am running power from another room (through an extension cord) to use my laptop for classes because it's the last semi-quiet room left. 7) the lease is up in October.
Showers can only happen between the hours of 7 am and 8:30 am. My sriracha is going bad. The freaking tuna was metallic tasting. The bedroom screen window was bent from taking it out, so nats and mosquitos flew into my room. I had to duct tape it to prevent the barrage. I am apocalyptically frustrated.
I would greatly appreciate your suggestions, comments, and direction.

Okay, so I recently drove through Louisiana and was clocked at about 15 mph above the posted sign and given a ticket. This situation is unique in a few aspects:

1. I have never lived in Louisiana and will likely never live in Louisiana or drive through again.
   
2. My car was registered in the state of New York, but will soon be registered in Arizona with a new plate number.
   
3. Both my license and registration were in a former first, middle, and last name of mine. I legally changed my whole name but have not changed my documents yet.
   
4. The address on my license is a former rental address.
   
5. The officer misspelled my former last name on the ticket.
   

So, theoretically, if I weren’t to pay this ticket, would there actually be any ramifications?

I really hope this is the right place to ask, because I'm not sure how to help at this point. If there's a better place to ask this mods, please let me know and I'll race over there.
Background, which I promisr has a purpose: My mom has been HoH almost my entire life, but didnt want to sign unless absolutely necessary, and stuck to lip reading almost exclusively. Now her hearing has dropped low enough that her audiologist has said that wearing a hearing aid is going to become redundant if they can't figure out why her hearing worsened so fast. (She also hates wearing it, so it's frequently forgotten)
At this point, even with the hearing aid in, unless it is total silence apart from one person making noise, she won't understand or hear anything. She's uninterested in learning to sign, she can't lip read well anymore, and any assistive anything (having her phone vibrate or flash to let her know about a call or text, stomping twice to let her know someone is behind her if her back is to them..etc...) she's vehemently against.
I know she's frustrated that she can't fake it anymore, and I know she's incredibly private and doesn't want to announce this to the world, but it's now an issue. She can't understand her Drs, won't tell me if she's unsure what was said (this sometimes leads to accidents, because she'll try to guess or hope it wasn't important and ignore).
I've found resources to free ASL classes, try to finger spell slowly whenever we talk so she can at least pick up some words, try to make sure I talk to her somewhere with lots of light, raise my voice so maybe she can pick up sounds (she asks for this, I don't just yell at her), but I don't know what else to do.
If she didn't want to learn sign or have any assistive additions, and it wasn't affecting her safety or ability to communicate, I wouldn't push. But it is. So I really need some advice on how I can go about trying to help without her feeling like I'm forcing things. I just want to help, and I can't tell she doesn't like feeling cut off. So any resources I could suggest to her, any advice on how to make her more comfortable with the idea of being profoundly deaf. I would be eternally grateful.

Hello! After searching this sub and google I'm still having troubling finding a good answer for this.
I'm looking for a bot that will function like Character . Ai bots do, where I can give it a setting, personality and some other info and it'll allow my friend and I to roleplay with AI-generated story progression and with it playing NPCs for us.
It should have memory, be able to act based on what we've written and be smart enough to understand the characters it plays vs. the ones we play. It should also be largely unfiltered, as we're well into adulthood and it's really odd being forced into strictly G-rated content.
It doesn't have to be free, it just has to be easy to set up, function well for Discord, and be already made (not interested in commissioning someone to code it at this time).
I've seen recs for Tubberbox but at first glance that looks like it would just be like an bot you'd chat with as if it's a person? It doesn't look like it would function as a detailed, multi-paragraph storyteller / DM the way C . AI chatbots do, but I could be wrong.
Thank you for any suggestions! If this doesn't exist that's cool too, I'm just trying to see what options there are if any.
