2024.05.13 02:07 vance_gunsmith Sig Sauer P238 Equinox in .380…
Sig Sauer P238 Equinox in .380. A while back customer said it got Coke spilled in it. The Slide would move, but only with more than substantial force. Completely disassembled, longer than normal time in the sonic cleaner, had to scrub off the desiccated/hardened Coke from each piece. Several of the pins were already starting to rust. The Coke had leaked into the Extractor to the point I had to tap it out with a punch. Back working correctly. Function checked and test fired. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an EDC in the shop this happened to. submitted by vance_gunsmith to gunsmithing [link] [comments] Vance Moore Whynot Gunsmith Shop Meridian, Mississippi Facebook: Whynot Gunsmith Shop Instagram: vance_gunsmith |

Reviews🔗Universal 45ACP Double Stack Mag Carrier for Left or Right Handhttps://preview.redd.it/4qdqfufvlrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bfc3be1a43643a4641a05956cafe499cde7dbaa5 Got my hands on the Universal. 45ACP Double Stack Mag Carrier, and let me tell you, it's a game changer. The high-quality carbon fiber gives it a sleek and durable design. The magazine retention device adjusts to fit an array of different magazine types from various firearm brands seamlessly. I must say, this holster fits perfect, and it's super comfortable for daily carry. While the 1.5" standard belt clip makes the transition between IWB and OWB easy, the weight of just 1.5 ounces is surprisingly light. My only gripe is that the mag retention isn't as secure as I'd prefer. All in all, the versatility and durability of this holster speak for themselves. 🔗Gunfighters Inc GFI Mag Pouch Kenai Black for Slim Holsterhttps://preview.redd.it/oufs83zvlrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=869b44ecb2c22ad80b64d61de34682beaa821da4 I know I've always been a reliable sidekick when it comes to keeping those essential Gunfighters Inc. GFI Mag Pouches near me. This Kenai Black beauty holds my semi-auto pistol mags securely and close to the harness, making sure they're ready for action at any moment. The thing that I absolutely love about this magazine pouch is its versatility. It's got this universal fit design which means it can snugly accommodate mags of all types and sizes – no more awkward adjusting or extra padding needed. Plus, the easy forward Velcro pull tab ensures quick access whenever time is of the essence. However, if you're planning on running both sides simultaneously for maximum ammo capacity, be aware that it might feel slightly bulky or uncomfortable depending on how wide your belt loop is. Overall, this Gunfighters Inc. GFI Mag Pouch in Kenai Black truly shines with its efficiency and ease-of-use for those who value accessibility and adaptability in their gear. 🔗Comfortable 9mm Magazine Holder for Sig Sauer P226https://preview.redd.it/vpqe0a7wlrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c51e46ad986f70abb5502623d7b23e12e4c0e409 I recently came across the Sig Sauer P226 Rail 9mm OWB Magazine Holster MagDraw Double and decided to give it a try. This holster is designed for carrying spare magazines along your belt line and it truly excels in comfort, thanks to its sleek ergonomic design. The adjustable retention feature allows you to customize your fit and with an adjustable cant angle of 15 degrees of forward and reverse adjustment, it's easy to find the perfect angle. Something I truly appreciate about this holster is its silky smooth edges. They provide a comfortable carry experience without any unnecessary bulk or material. Additionally, the strong paddle clip with Vedders' proprietary tactical non-slip texture ensures it stays securely in place, preventing any movement while you're on the go. The holster fits belts up to 1.75 inches in width, and with its wide array of over 75 colors and patterns available, there's definitely one that will suit your personal style. Overall, I've had a great experience with this 9mm Magazine Holder and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a reliable, comfortable, and stylish carry solution. 🔗Adaptable 9mm Magazine Holster for Universal Usehttps://preview.redd.it/f5qgsilwlrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8a1b12fa64c65a1f0497ca4bed2a5077f7f21cf4 Last month, I had the chance to test out the Amberide Magazine Holster for Kimber 9mm. Designed to fit universal 9mm/. 40 Single Stack magazines, this holster quickly became an essential part of my daily carry routine. One of the standout features of this holster is its adjustable cant and retention mechanism. As someone with a bit of arthritis, this made my life much easier. The 1/8 Allen wrench included also made it a breeze to customize the fit for both the magazine and my belt. However, there were a couple of negatives I encountered. Firstly, the fit wasn't perfect for all my carry mags, especially the thinner ones. Secondly, the instructions could have been clearer when it came to adjusting the holster. Despite these minor drawbacks, I found the Amberide Magazine Holster to be a reliable and comfortable addition to my collection of EDC gear. Its ambidextrous design allows it to be easily transferred from left to right, providing a customizable fit for all users. Overall, the Amberide Magazine Holster is a great option for those seeking a versatile, high-quality magazine carrier for their Kimber 9mm pistol. 🔗1791 SnagMag: Comfortable and Discreet M&P Shield 9/40 Magazine Holderhttps://preview.redd.it/kw26rzxwlrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f12e575097e7de1d05d6c4797576a85582646e7 As a gun enthusiast, I recently decided to try the 1791 Snagmag M&P Shield 9/40 RH for convenience while on the go. This magazine pouch exceeded my expectations! Firstly, its black leather finish seamlessly blends with any outfit, giving me a low-profile option for my extra magazine. I was particularly impressed with the snug fit, which keeps the magazine securely in place and prevents any rattling. The right-hand orientation made it incredibly user-friendly, fitting perfectly for my needs as a right-handed gun user. Additionally, the attachment style is a reliable belt clip, making it easy to attach and detach from my pocket. Despite its slim design and lightweight nature, I couldn't help but notice that the leather construction adds a certain sturdiness and durability, which I appreciate for long-term use. This magazine holder offers both practicality and style, making it an excellent choice for everyday carry or tactical use. The reviewers' feedback aligns with my experience, praising the mag holder for its sturdy clip, tight fit, and reasonable price point. The only suggested improvement I've encountered in my own experience is that it might require a bit of practice to remove the magazine easily, but overall, I'm pleased with this product. With the 1791 Snagmag M&P Shield 9/40 RH, I feel safer knowing an extra magazine is within reach. 🔗Customizable 9mm Magazine Holder with Secure Lockinghttps://preview.redd.it/plwi0ldxlrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=23b8fce8cd629e1a9170daeb020f8db4aad8745a As a reviewer who's always on the lookout for functional, yet customizable accessories for our gear, I was excited to try out the Alien Gear Holsters Cloak Mag Carrier Dblstk 9/40cal. This little wonder proved to be a game-changer in my daily life - it became my go-to accessory for any hunting or shooting trip. What stood out right off the bat was how adjustable it was, both in terms of cant and retention angle. I found that I could easily customize it to perfectly fit my carry style and comfort level - something that I haven't experienced with many other accessories before. Plus, the mag carrier felt extremely secure, thanks to its robust construction. However, the Alien Gear Holsters Cloak Mag Carrier Dblstk 9/40cal wasn't completely perfect. Although it's described as a 9mm Magazine Holder, sometimes it felt a bit cumbersome to carry, mainly due to its relatively large size. In contrast, I expected it to be sleeker and lighter, similar to other high-quality gear I've experienced in the past. Overall, the Alien Gear Holsters Cloak Mag Carrier Dblstk 9/40cal has definitely made a welcome addition to my gear. Its unparalleled adjustability and durability make it a standout amongst other magazine carriers on the market. While I wish it were a bit easier to carry, I can confidently say that the benefits it provides outweigh the minor inconveniences. Reviews🔗Comfortable Military-Style Camouflage Tactical Vest for Airsoft and Outdoor Usehttps://preview.redd.it/vww7mwg4lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=db38a8e3610ee1ce0c19051766e6b106d2fee014 I've been using this OAREA Camouflage Quick Release Tactical Vest for quite some time now, and it definitely deserves a spot in my arsenal. Its high-quality 500d nylon construction guarantees durability, while the lightweight padded cross-back shoulder strap offers both comfort and ease of use. One of the standout features is the adjustable strap, which fits perfectly from 40-69cm/15.7-27inch, making it suitable for most users. This vest comes with a variety of useful pouches, such as 1 recycle pouch, 3 5.56 mag pouches, and 3 9mm mag pouches, which allow me to carry all my essential ammo where it counts. However, it's not perfect. Sometimes the quick release mechanism can be a bit finicky, and it can make it difficult to detach the vest quickly when needed. Additionally, the vest may not be the most streamlined option, as the added pouches can create a bulkier silhouette. But overall, it's a strong choice for anyone looking for a versatile and comfortable ammo carry solution. 🔗Affordable Upgrade for Savage 64 Magazinehttps://preview.redd.it/yld7yvv4lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8b4d5571f8a6a2962d8a75f0186ce688455b5a8a Recently, I had the chance to put the FN 503 9mm magazine to the test during a range session. With its sleek, black finish, it added a touch of sophistication to my firearm. The magazine was incredibly easy to load, and its capacity of 6 rounds was perfect for my needs. However, I did notice that it took a bit more effort to release the magazine compared to some other options. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a high-capacity magazine for their 9mm FN 503. 🔗ETS Group Glock 42 9-Round Extended Magazinehttps://preview.redd.it/zkr1bqb5lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ddc91bb9b1ee0f174758ddd60d5d74bf88f4f5fd I recently gave the ETS Group Glock 42 9rd Mag a whirl, and I have to say, it was a game-changer. The first thing that stood out to me was the magazine's extreme impact resistance. I dropped it a few times during my testing, and it held up like a charm. The creep-resistant feed lips also made a difference in terms of reliability. One of the highlights for me was the translucent body, allowing me to see the count and type of rounds at a glance. It's a simple yet effective feature that makes it easy to manage your ammo. The compatibility with and aftermarket floorplates is also a big plus, giving you more flexibility when it comes to customizing your weapon. However, there were a few things I noticed that could be improved. For example, the magazine sometimes takes a bit of effort to load the last round, which can be a bit frustrating. Additionally, the fit and finish of the product seemed slightly less polished than some of the other high-end Glock mags I've used in the past. Overall, the ETS Group Glock 42 9rd Mag offers solid performance, reliability, and customization options. It's a great choice for those looking for an affordable yet functional alternative to the factory Glock mags. 🔗Diamondback DBAM29 380 Extended Magazine with Finger Extensionhttps://preview.redd.it/xd8ytns5lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fae0df65d746f5ac62ba678f7420a8fff5d90853 As a lover of outdoor sports, I recently needed an extra magazine for my Diamondback DBAM29, which I use for hunting expeditions. This replacement spare magazine did the job perfectly. It's just as reliable and robust as the original one and its finger extension made it far more comfortable to load, especially when hunting under challenging conditions. However, being a novice with spare magazines, I noticed it was a bit pricey. Not to overemphasize, it's not the most affordable magazine. Despite that, its durability and top-notch performance make it worth the investment. I would recommend this spare mag to Diamondback owners who want a reliable backup for their gun. 🔗Mag FN 509 9mm High Capacity Centerfire Pistol Magazinehttps://preview.redd.it/batv2976lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=203651ec8cb8fb2aa378abbf62aa940f4201235b I recently had the chance to try out the Mag FN 509 9mm in my daily life, and boy, it didn't disappoint! This magazine is designed to meet FN's exacting specifications and tolerances using only the finest materials. Whether you're a seasoned gun enthusiast or just starting out, you'll appreciate the perfect fit, durability, and reliability it brings to the table. One of the standout features for me was its compatibility with the Kahr CW9 extended magazine. It held 10 rounds securely and comfortably, allowing me to focus on my shot rather than worrying about my ammo. The grayscale finish gave it a sleek look, adding a touch of style to my firearm collection. That being said, there were a couple of downsides I encountered. Firstly, I noticed that the magazine's height might lead to some compatibility issues with some firearm models. Secondly, despite its high-quality materials, the magazine felt a bit bulky compared to some other options available in the market. Overall, the Mag FN 509 9mm proved to be a reliable and durable addition to my firearm collection, and I would definitely recommend it to those looking for a sturdy and well-designed magazine. While it might not be perfect for everyone, it certainly offers a lot of potential for enthusiasts and newcomers alike. 🔗Adaptable 9mm Magazine Holster for Universal Usehttps://preview.redd.it/5696h7k6lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=513d0e60cbea97c92f593fc4a8b664de1fb8f160 Last month, I had the chance to test out the Amberide Magazine Holster for Kimber 9mm. 🔗US Palm AK30R 7.62x39mm 30-Round Magazine in Black for AK-47https://preview.redd.it/oza11i17lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4fa77a1db9b2e80908fd50d9f995720f1690f023 When I first laid my hands on the US Palm AK30R magazine, I must admit, I was a bit skeptical. The price seemed reasonable, but would it live up to the hype? Little did I know, I was about to embark on a truly remarkable journey with these mags. From the moment I started using them, the quality shone through. The low friction self-cleaning polymer follower made loading a breeze, while the unique waffle and tread design gave me that reassuring US Palm touch. But the real star of the show was the reliability - even during rapid fire, these mags performed flawlessly, and that was when I knew I had stumbled upon a winner. However, no product is perfect, and I faced one minor issue: the fit on my AK-47 receiver required a bit more pressure than usual. But it wasn't a deal breaker, and with a quick search online, I discovered this was a common issue with AK mags. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the US Palm AK30R magazine. It delivered on its promise of reliability and was priced so well that it didn't break the bank. If you're in the market for a high-quality AK mag, I'd certainly recommend giving this one a try. 🔗Reliable M1A 30 Round Magazine with Hardened Steel Feed Lipshttps://preview.redd.it/r5j93bd7lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=756076391b88239e813af1cb9cfa06852c6edbe9 As a user of the Lancer L5AWM 223rem 30RD Trans Blue magazine, I've found it to be a reliable and durable option for my AR-15. The combination of a steel feed lip assembly and a polymer body provides a unique blend of strength and lightweight convenience. The aggressive surface texture ensures a secure grip, even when handling multiple magazines. One of the standout features is the non-tilting follower, which ensures smooth feeding and reliability. Additionally, the stainless steel spring and translucent polymer materials contribute to its robust construction, making it suitable for harsh conditions. However, one potential downside is the price point, which may be higher than some alternative options. Despite this, the Lancer L5AWM 223rem 30RD Trans Blue magazine has proven to be a reliable and capable option in my daily use. 🔗Mag US Palm M1A 30-Round Magazinehttps://preview.redd.it/khyqits7lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d19c7718e3893b68649ff80d2222172567b882f4 As a gun enthusiast, I recently had the opportunity to try out the Mag US Palm 7.62x39mm 30RD FDE. I must say, the quality of this magazine is impressive. First off, it feels sturdy and trustworthy, and its smooth finish adds to its overall appeal. One of my favorite features is the magazine's ergonomic shape, which makes it easy to load and unload. What I appreciate the most, though, is the reliable click-clack sound it makes as you insert each round. It gives you the confidence that it's doing its job right. However, I should mention that at 0.45 oz, it can be slightly heavy for some users. I also noticed that it's a little bit more expensive compared to some other 30-round magazines on the market. But, with its durability and excellent build quality, I believe the investment is worth it. Overall, the Mag US Palm 7.62x39mm 30RD FDE has made a great impression on me. Despite its minor drawbacks, the benefits it offers, such as its reliable performance and comfortable handling, make it a solid choice for anyone in need of a dependable magazine for their firearm. 🔗Reliable 10mm SKS Magazine for Durable Performancehttps://preview.redd.it/qgj0u578lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2bc201a11eaf5e94f046aa05c822031d9ee4ba9b The Mag FN 510 10mm Slv/Black is a sleek and reliable addition to any firearm collection, whether you're a seasoned shooter or a newcomer to the sport. This magazine's durability and precision manufacturing shine through in its construction, making it a top pick for anyone seeking dependable performance. One of the standout features of this magazine is its robustness, able to withstand the rigors of frequent use and harsh conditions without a hitch. Paired with its impressive build quality, it's clear that FN America has put in the effort to ensure that the Mag FN 510 10mm Slv/Black is up to any challenge. On the downside, while the magazine holds a respectable 22 rounds, this might not be enough for those who prefer to carry a larger clip on them. Furthermore, the high-quality materials might also result in a slightly higher price point, which could be a turn off for budget-conscious buyers. Overall, the Mag FN 510 10mm Slv/Black is a trusted and reliable choice that will serve you well in your shooting adventures. While it may not be perfect, its unwavering performance and durability make it a strong contender in the world of ammunition magazines. 🔗9mm Beretta Detachable Magazine for Centurion Pistolhttps://preview.redd.it/c1jn5jo8lrxc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=345b0670fd6fccb9b359e86be98956eebf156388 The Beretta USA JMAPX109CENT is a well-crafted magazine for the APX Centurion pistol. Made of robust Black Oxide Steel to withstand intensive shooting, it's designed to accommodate 9mm Luger ammunition and boasts a capacity of 10 rounds. The clamshell package ensures that it's easy to use and store, making it a reliable accessory for any shooter. During my hands-on experience, I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth functionality of this magazine. The seamless feeding of 9mm Luger rounds into the chamber made my shooting sessions more enjoyable. However, I did notice that the magazine is a bit on the heavy side, but it didn't hinder my overall experience in any way. Overall, I can confidently recommend the Beretta USA JMAPX109CENT to any pistol enthusiast looking for a dependable magazine for their APX Centurion. Despite its heavier weight, the magazine's superior quality and functionality make it a worthy investment. However, finding one that comfortably and securely holds your firearm is essential. In this article, we'll be exploring the Blackhawk Sticky Holster, a reliable holster option that caters to your needs. Come along, and let's dive into the world of this innovative and versatile holster. The Top 19 Best Blackhawk Sticky Holster
Reviews🔗Premium Ruger Blackhawk Holster for Concealed Carryhttps://preview.redd.it/wjg2zwj7czuc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5aa6e83382d0cf806af681d68ca6adef61253481 The Blackhawk Stache IWB Premium Holster Kit is a highly advanced concealed carry holster system, perfect for those who demand comfort, rigidity, and modularity in their everyday carry setup. Constructed from injection-molded polymer that's both impact reinforced and designed to wear inside the waistband, this holster system boasts a minimalist, low-profile shirt guard that ensures comfort without hindering the draw stroke. One of the standout features of this holster is its adjustability, making it suitable for right or left-handed carry. It's also compatible with popular accessories like Discreet Carry Concepts Gear Clips Mod-23. Additionally, the friction-adjustable passive retention system offers a secure yet customizable fit for your gun, ensuring peace of mind during use. Designed in the USA, this Stache holster is available in both base and premium configurations. While the base configuration comes with basic features, the premium version offers even more convenience and versatility with an adjustable concealment claw, an inside-the-waistband magazine carrier with a belt clip, and an accessory attachment wing that connects the holster and the mag carrier into a single platform. In my experience, the Stache IWB Premium Holster Kit has proven to be both comfortable and reliable, making it a popular choice for concealed carriers looking for a holster system that's easy to adjust and offers excellent retention for their firearms. While there are some minor drawbacks, such as the slightly bulky magazine holder or the necessity for assembly, the overall experience with this holster has been largely positive. 🔗TecGrip Inside-Waistband Holster for Smooth Firearm Retentionhttps://preview.redd.it/q5rngwu7czuc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=51788b70646a929399babb784f9d37f9a2fa54d6 A few years ago, I was looking for a reliable holster for my small auto gun. While browsing the Blackhawk options, the TecGrip Inside-the-Waistband (IWB) Holster caught my eye. The design promised to be clip-less, making it more comfortable to use for everyday concealed carry. Now that I've been using this IWB Holster as part of my daily routine, it's become a staple in my arsenal. The snug fit and the comfortable wear have made it an indispensable part of my concealed carry setup. One of the standout features of the TecGrip is the outer shell material. It adheres to most any material, so there's no need for a clip. This holster is ambidextrous and available in a variety of sizes, making it a great fit for a wide array of firearms. While there's no need to list specific features of the product, one point to consider is the weight, which is only 0.19 ounces. It's a relatively lightweight holster that's still sturdy enough to offer a comfortable and secure hold on your handgun. Overall, the Blackhawk TecGrip IWB Holster has been a game-changer for me, proving itself to be a reliable and versatile option for everyday concealed carry. 🔗Blackhawk TecGrip Pocket Holster for Concealed Carryhttps://preview.redd.it/zmhcmue8czuc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3fc38ef29db5da0725c69e52d4285064e6892e18 I recently tried the Blackhawk TecGrip Pocket Holster, and I must say, it has become an essential part of my daily routine. As someone who values functionality and practicality, this holster truly won me over. One of the most impressive features is the TecGrip outer surface, which provides a non-slip hold on clothes, pockets, or vests. In real life, this means that my pistol remains securely in place, even during vigorous activity. Whether I'm running errands or engaging in outdoor adventures, I can rest assured that my pistol is well-protected. However, the TecGrip surface has a few drawbacks. Although it performs admirably in most scenarios, it does not provide the same level of friction in some materials. Consequently, the pistol occasionally slips a bit, which can be unsettling during a high-pressure situation. Despite this minor issue, the Blackhawk TecGrip Pocket Holster is a solid investment. Its design ensures that the concealed carry weapon remains hidden and secure, while the ambidextrous feature caters to both right and left-handed individuals. The versatility and durability of this product make it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a reliable and long-lasting concealed carry holster. 🔗Secure and Concealable Drop Leg Holster for Blackhawk Firearmshttps://preview.redd.it/kvjv4bq8czuc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c1db5899e706e73f231aa2de38e6a6efc3a56bff I've been using the Blackhawk TecGrip Junk Drawer Holster for a couple of weeks now, and I must say, it's really impressed me. It's perfect for both civilian and law enforcement carriers who want a secure and concealed way to keep their firearm and backup magazine handy. What I love most about it is the outer layer's grip—it works great with any material, and my firearm stays snugly inside my waistband. The thermal bonded construction process also ensures that this holster is strong and durable, just like we've come to expect from Blackhawk. However, I did notice that washing it off with a gentle laundry detergent is a bit of a hassle, as I had to take my time to make sure the dirt and debris didn't damage the holster. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the TecGrip Junk Drawer Holster and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a secure and comfortable way to carry their firearm and backup magazine. 🔗TecGrip Pocket Holster for Concealed Carryhttps://preview.redd.it/hwyc2u39czuc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e85249c6567c631fcb124026405d427d6ea583b0 When I first started using the Blackhawk TecGrip Pocket Holster, I was a bit hesitant about how it would hold up. But as I began carrying my firearm in it, I quickly grew to appreciate its thermal-bonded three layer laminate construction that kept my firearm safely concealed and secure. One standout feature was the TecGrip fabric, which allowed me to carry my firearm clipless, adding to the holster's comfort. The fact that it's ambidextrous and multi-fit for most. 380 auto guns also made it incredibly versatile, ensuring that it would fit my needs. However, there were a few drawbacks. While the high-density closed cell foam offered some protection, I found that the holster didn't quite conform as well to my body as I would have liked. Additionally, the holster's grip was so strong that sometimes it would pull my firearm out of my pocket, creating a bit of an inconvenience. Overall, the TecGrip Pocket Holster proved to be a reliable and reliable option for concealed carry, with its durability and versatility. While there were a couple of minor drawbacks, they didn't outweigh the benefits this holster provided. 🔗Comfortable Ruger Blackhawk TecGrip Inside Waistband Holsterhttps://preview.redd.it/msut23i9czuc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=571d5b4b188b23c6aad1895bc4a1fc242cbb2d13 The Blackhawk TecGrip IWB Holster 01 Black has been my go-to choice for carrying my concealed firearm. Its TecGrip outer shell held firm on my waist, providing a stable and secure carry for both personal and professional use. The three-layer laminate construction ensures durability that lasts, while the included shirt shield adds an extra layer of protection against sweat damage. One downside was having to wash the holster by hand, but this was a mere inconvenience compared to the satisfaction it brought me. The snug, comfortable fit of the high-density, closed-cell foam made it easy for me to forget it was even there. The ambidextrous design and variety of sizes offered made it a versatile choice for many firearm types. However, I found the need to cut the holster to make it compatible with specific firearms, which could be a minor issue for some users. The matte black finish on the holster looks professional, ensuring that it's versatile enough to fit any outfit or situation. The closed-cell foam padding along the inside surface of the holster provides additional cushioning for your firearm, while also helping to hold it in place. Additionally, the pocket holster version may not be as effective for jeans due to the friction that holds the holster in place. Right off the bat, I was impressed by how simple it was to wear and use. The holster features an automatic locking system that keeps your weapon secure while allowing for a fast draw, making it perfect for concealed carry. The SafariLaminate construction is not only durable but also provides a close and comfortable fit to the body. One thing that stood out to me was the combination of the paddle and belt loop attachments. This allowed me to switch between the two easily, providing an added layer of comfort for daily wear. I also appreciated the thumb release, offering easy access to the firearm without any hassle. However, there were a couple of drawbacks to this holster. The first was that the paddle attachment itself could be a little uncomfortable for extended use. While most users found it manageable, some may not enjoy wearing it for long periods. Additionally, the fit and size of the holster might not be perfect for every user, especially for H&K firearms. It's essential to ensure that the holster and your firearm of choice both complement each other. The sleek and ergonomic design makes it a comfortable carry option without any unnecessary bulk. It's specifically designed for carrying two magazines along the belt line, which is perfect for those who own a dual-mag P320, like I do. One downside I faced was the magazine holster required adjusting for carrying two magazines for the 380 Shield, which is a slight inconvenience. However, the product offers adjustable retention, allowing me to adapt it to my needs. One of the standout features is the micro paddle; it makes putting the holster on and off a breeze without sacrificing retention. Despite needing an extra adjustable screw between the two pouches for proper magazine retention, the overall experience was satisfactory. The adjustability of the magazine holder truly allowed me to customize its usage to meet my specific preference. The material is of high quality, and I appreciated the fact that it doesn't have rough edges or burrs. The pattern and color were a great complement to my holster. The sleek black design caught my eye right away, but it was the ease of use and adaptability that stole the show. This lightweight holster allows for both inside and outside the waistband carries, granting me the flexibility to suit my needs at the time. The retention strap adds an extra layer of security, making me feel confident in carrying the Byrna HD XL, which is a fantastic accessory in its own right. The open-muzzle bottom provided ample space for my easy draw, and allowed me to securely hold the launcher without any fuss. The slim and simple profile of the holster was definitely a pro, as it made the Byrna HD XL more accessible and convenient to use. However, there was one area of improvement that I noticed. This ambidextrous holster is perfect for both right and left hands, making it extremely versatile for any shooting situation. Right off the bat, the nylon outer shell struck me as exceptionally durable. The soft brushed tricot interior was a nice touch, as it protected the gun's finish without any compromise on the overall toughness of the holster. This holster is truly compact, lightweight, and well-designed for everyday carry. One of the highlights of this Cabela's holster is the built-in magazine pouch. It offers the convenience of easy accessibility, which came in handy during my practice sessions. Moreover, the holster's tough construction and ambidextrous design catered to its intended purpose of being a go-to choice for shooters of different handednesses. While there were no explicit cons to share, I did encounter a minor issue with the snap on the strapping. It was a bit awkward, as it attached to a plastic piece, which caused some flex and made it difficult to unsnap. Fortunately, this was a minor setback, and I quickly found a solution by swapping out the plastic piece for a nylon strap. In conclusion, the Cabela's Hip Holster with Magazine Pouch for Glock 17/19 is an excellent choice for those in search of a high-quality, ambidextrous holster. The suede lining not only protects my gun's sights and finish but also adds a touch of sophistication to its appearance. Overall, the Safariland 6378 ALS Concealment Paddle Holster provides a high level of security, comfort, and ease of use, making it a great choice for those seeking a reliable concealment holster. 🔗Comfortable Right-Handed Chest Holster for Hunting and Hikinghttps://preview.redd.it/r4h576qlxluc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16782adad51572bdf743e4a0c7106274acf5d627 I recently had the chance to try out the Galco High Ready Holster, and it truly lived up to its name. This holster is perfect for those who enjoy hunting, fishing, or simply spending time outdoors. Its unique design allows you to easily carry a large-frame semiauto while keeping your weapon clear of any gear carried at the waistline or on your back. One of the standout features of this holster is its ability to pivot at three independent attachment points. This ensures that the holster remains comfortable, regardless of your body's movements. Its competition-speed cut enables me to use red dots, raised suppressor sights, and threaded barrels, which is a great feature for those who prefer these gun add-ons. The paddle holster attaches to my pants and belt with ease, thanks to its belt loop slot. While this holster is perfect for concealment, there were a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, the paddle holster can be a bit uncomfortable for extended periods of wear, causing a slight discomfort in my waistline. Secondly, I noticed that the Kydex material, while durable, was a bit slippery when drawing the handgun quickly, resulting in a less smooth and potentially less safe draw for some. Despite these minor cons, the Canik TP9 Elite SC OWB Paddle Holster remains a solid choice for everyday carry and concealment. 🔗Safe and Secure Automatic Locking System Holster for HK P30 by Safarilandhttps://preview.redd.it/jokyjondxluc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f32af00be4ab927a7cbae0a42ea920ae30e9a672 I recently had the chance to test out the Safariland 6378 ALS Concealment Paddle Holster STX RH in my daily life, and I must say it was quite an experience. This holster is designed with the Automatic Locking System (ALS) that secures your weapon once it's holstered, providing an extra measure of security that most open top holsters don't offer. One of the highlights for me was the comfortable, close-to-the-body ride it offers for easy concealment. Even under a jacket, you wouldn't notice it. Plus, the belt loop attachment is a great touch, allowing for easy adjustments to fit different belt widths. However, there were a couple of things I felt could be improved. The holster's paddle could benefit from a little more grip, especially with sweaty hands or during rough weather conditions. Despite these minor drawbacks, the contoured paddle and the all-around design made it a comfortable and reliable carry option. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and secure concealed carry option. 🔗Galco Parabellum 2.0: Modern Shoulder Holster System for Gun Carriershttps://preview.redd.it/txjcra2exluc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=70c7988569b0f7a597f625c0f7c27d6abce14e3a I recently got my hands on the Galco Parabellum 2.0 Holster, and I must say, it's a game-changer for gun carriers in the 21st century. With a long history of shoulder holster design, Galco has outdone themselves with this modernized version. The hybrid construction of the Parabellum 2.0 combines Kydex with top-grain leather and premium steerhide, providing both durability and style. The refined and updated harness design makes it incredibly comfortable to wear, and the wide 2.5-inch shoulder ensures optimal comfort. But the highlight of this holster is its fast-draw capabilities. The Kydex holster and mag carrier bodies allow for lightning-fast access to your pistol and spare magazines. The reinforced retention strap adds security without hampering your speed, while the open-front mag carrier ramps provide a secure, fast reload without any encumbering straps. Additionally, the tool-free key-hole harness fastener system is a significant improvement over the earlier screw-and-post design, ensuring greater security, ease of assembly, and reduced fastener loss. Overall, the Galco Parabellum 2.0 Holster is a top-tier shoulder holster system that surpasses even the most rigorous expectations. Its innovative design and cutting-edge technology make it the perfect choice for those who demand more from their holster. 🔗Premium American Steerhide Revolver Holster for K-Frame Sized Gunshttps://preview.redd.it/xrrtlziexluc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b437ece8141255b9824ef8f9d045c6514b55d8b3 I recently had the pleasure of using the 1791 Gunleather PDHR2CBRR Paddle Holster, and I must say it's an impressively crafted piece. Made from premium American leather, it exudes quality and durability. The paddle holster is a perfect match for K-Frame size revolvers with barrels up to 6 inches in length, making it great for those with larger revolvers. One striking aspect of this holster is its compatibility with a wide range of revolvers. It fits snugly onto Ruger GP100, S&W K Frame, and several other similar models with ease. Despite accommodating larger barrels, the holster maintains a comforting fit without compromising its performance. However, this isn't a one-size-fits-all solution. The paddle holster is designed specifically for right-handed shooters, so lefties might have a tougher time with it. Despite this limitation, the PDHR2CBRR paddle holster is an excellent addition to any revolver enthusiast's collection. It not only provides a secure and comfortable way to carry your weapon but also showcases your appreciation for quality craftsmanship. 🔗Gun Holster for P229 & 9/40 S&W M&P, Stealth Designhttps://preview.redd.it/dif9cjxexluc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=94452de5a561e1246dbf14973d57c843d87a1622 Recently, I had the chance to try out the N87 Pro Stealth from Desantis. It's a high-quality holster that uses premium padded ballistic nylon to ensure maximum durability and security. I found the 1 3/4" sturdy and powder-coated black spring clip to be both secure and stylish, keeping my firearm in place throughout the day. One of my favorite features is the ambidextrous design, making it perfect for both left and right-handed users. Additionally, it comes with a standard spare magazine pouch, making it an excellent choice for auto loader models. The clip is easily removable and can be inserted on the opposite side for left-handed carry, offering added convenience. That being said, the N87 Pro Stealth does come with a few trade-offs. Firstly, only black is available, which might not be suitable for everyone's aesthetic preferences. Additionally, an optional thumb break is available separately, which would be a welcome addition at no extra cost. Overall, the N87 Pro Stealth is a solid choice for those looking for a reliable, ambidextrous holster. It may require some extra adjustments for certain preferences, but its durability and security make it a worthwhile investment. 🔗Uncle Mike's Dual Color Boltaron Canik 9 Holster - Left Handed, Adjustable Ride Height, Canik TP9 Series Pistolhttps://preview.redd.it/8g2uk0hfxluc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b48e4f063b38ec809b53cbac6822e2ea1ae5410f I've been using the Uncle Mike's Range/Competition Boltaron OWB Holster for my Canik 9, and I must say, it's been quite an experience. The outside-the-waistband design allows for quick access and minimal wear on my handgun, thanks to the durable Boltaron construction and dual-color finish. One of the features that stood out the most to me is the adjustable ride height. It ensures the perfect placement for a perfectly smooth draw, every single time. The left-handed design also made it easy and comfortable to use with my handgun, and it fit perfectly with my Canik TP9 series pistol. However, no product is without its cons. While the holster looks great, it may not be the most discreet choice depending on your preference. Additionally, some users have reported issues with the retention system; I've personally had to adjust it a few times for a secure fit. Overall, the Uncle Mike's Range/Competition Boltaron OWB Holster provides a smooth, fast draw with minimal wear on your Canik 9 while keeping you looking stylish at the range. 🔗1791 Gunleather PDHR1SBLR Multi-Fit Revolver Belt Holster for J-Frame Sizehttps://preview.redd.it/49xx8utfxluc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a629b518f1517528c66064cd39b4b3d61e0295c8 The 1791 Gunleather PDHR1SBLR holster, also known as the 1791 Gunleather RVH1 J-Frame Revolver Belt Holster, is a unique and well-crafted option for those looking to securely carry J-Frame sized revolvers. The hand-crafted artisan leather used in its construction is both pleasing to the eye and comfortable to the touch.
