DALL-E Weather Dashboard
I have a small display in a high traffic area of my house, running on an old RPi that I use for an HA kiosk. Every two hours, an automation takes the upcoming weather forecast info along with an input-text entity that provides the "subject" of a photo, then imagines that subject in a comically exaggerated way as they do some weather-relevant activity. Uses OpenAI conversation to first use GPT to generate the actual prompt to pass to DALL-E, then sends that prompt, thereby avoiding DALL-E adding numbers to the image.
Enjoy this one, with the subject: "an anthropomorphic axolotl"
I personally use the built in moon integration, along with a REST sensor to pull the forecast text from NOAA:

The design decisions are horrible. Different loud wallpaper in every room, a red bathtub in a carpeted bathroom, barely any flooring and more. It looks like an unfinished home that someone actually lived in for years, even though it wasn’t finished. The description says the house free bc you’re only buying the lot. But this is Corpus Christi, TX, nowhere you’d ever call charming. And it’s on the crappy Gulf of Mexico. No way is the water as blue as they make in the photos. All this for…. 1.2 million. And one last thing, it’s major hurricane country.

I'm having difficulty getting Shopify do what I want to do, visually speaking. I have never built a store in WordPress, but I have used Elementor, and find it a lot simpler to use. I also find Shopify prohibitively expensive at around $40 per month.
My greatest concern is whether I would lose important backend capabilities. Shopify is built for sellers, no question about it. Adding apps is easy. Adding photos and descriptions to products is easy. Watching the charts and numbers from my computer or my phone is really easy, including gross sales, number of clicks per time period, and number of "Add to Cart"s. And I like that I will never have to deal with backend technical issues.
And yet, today I couldn't even figure out how customize the color of my buy button with the Crave theme. Maybe it's not possible or requires CSS or a different theme. Perhaps more frustratingly, I can't figure out to how fine-tune the visual experience for both desktop and mobile users. This is a breeze in Elementor!
Maybe I'm getting stuck on trivial things, but my store is pretty new and I want to ensure that I'm setting it up for success. Do I stay on Shopify for right now or consider switching over to WordPress...?

well that was krazy HAHA. ik many people here showcase ivies and T20s and im not that remarkable with my t40s to t100s but i'd like to think its not that shabby for an unknown international from a third world country. my biggest regret is not applying for NYU, its my dream school but again considering my depressive episode from November to January I wasnt able to file my application on time. its a miracle that universities still accept late applications and im grateful for all that I have and received. If i could turn back time I wish I was a little bit stronger and more stable to have been able to apply for NYU, my common app essay about my favorite author was actually an alumni from NYU :")
but we carry the burdens of choice under the merits of luck; even with merit scholarships, I cant afford any of the international schools I was accepted to. more likely i'll have to attend the top university in my country. but i dont want to give up man i'll still try to appeal for financial aid and if that wont work I'll apply for transfer during my sophomore year to ivies and top LACs that give full financial aid to international transfers. the odds are low but never 0 and no harm in trying !! see you all again next year for my transfer results :]

Anyone else finds that the Journal is pretty much useless? You are pretty much obligated to Save every discovery you make if you want to be able to acess their descriptions, stats and moves. My suggestion would be to make so that you are able to acess these informations via the journal (and also adding filters for convenience) while limiting the number of discoveries you could save (let's say 100-1000 I'm not set in a number yet).

Hey everyone, I'm kind of needing a break from life right now because my grandma and dad have been in the hospital and I'm just wanting to have fun on Fallout but my OCD self absolutely hates that I don't have the best load order. We also just got the news of my dad having cancer so that's always fun. Anyways, I know about the load order guide but it's tremendously hard to understand it right now. I'm not sure if it's due to me getting no sleep due to all of the emergencies or my migraine or my ADHD. Probably all of it. Anyways, I know it is a tremendously large longshot but I would highly appreciate it if someone either taught me in a digestible way or (if it's easy for you) put it in the correct order. We are getting married in San Diego next year, and I am hoping to learn more about what to expect in terms of planning and costs. I will admit that I know practically nothing about the wedding industry. I am hoping that those who have recently held weddings in Southern California (ideally in San Diego) can let me know if the prices I am estimating are currently accurate. I have reached out to several vendors in each category, and have a total cost estimate of $65,900.
We are planning to invite about 100 guests, mostly adults with perhaps a few children attending.
The venue will be Darlington House in La Jolla, San Diego. Darlington House only allows catering from an approved list of vendors, so that limits our options.
But if there are any tips/tricks/areas where we could save that stand out, please let me know!

I was there to drive a Model T (bucket list item for sure) which was weird enough, but that was not the weirdwheeliest part of my day. Behold: 1. The school bus forest 2. Novelty muffler car 3. '90s Indy 500 car in between a 1910s fire truck and a fiberglass Porsche 917 "replica" kit car 4. Nowhere else on earth (I assume) can you find a 1920s Buick displayed above a Maserati Biturbo 5. Hydrogen-powered Mustang next to a car carrier with a Citroën GS on it, among vintage engine diagnostic equipment 6. Porsche 928 and Cadillac pickup truck 7. 1914 Chevy inside a garbage truck 8. Soviet Chaika limo 9. Pierce-Arrow Doctor's Coupe, Chrysler Airstream, Chevy Chevelle SS (and that semicircular thing peeking out of the top shelf is a '57 Chevy Bel Air headlight - but I wasn't too disappointed not seeing it because there are at least two more of them on the grounds) 10. A bitchin' pinstriped PT Cruiser behind a hybrid vehicle prototype based on a Dodge Intrepid (oh yeah some old Vette in the background too) 11. Smart car, 2000s custom Mustang, Studebaker, 1960s home fallout shelter
This is just scratching the surface. A Tucker 48 (but we had to see it in the dark because the power was out in that building). At least two Cadillac V-16s, and a Stutz V-16. At least two Bond Bugs. Like 5 2CVs, including a fourgonette 2CV in the bed of an early 20th century pickup. A dragon-shaped show car that spits 30-foot flames (not that this was demonstrated for us). A very well done customized Beetle in the style of a 1930s Chrysler woody wagon. And many, many, many others.
