2021.12.09 16:48 kittenofd00m Create lookup list from semicolon delimited data in multiple rows

I need to create a way to look up patients by medication. The data (much simplified) has 2 columns with column A being the patient ID number (1-20 in this example) and column B being the semicolon delimited list of medications that the patient is taking.
Medication descriptions sometimes contain commas. Medication dosages need not be included.
What would be the best way to help an end user look up patients by medication? (There are approximately 14,000 rows of patients in the spreadsheet that I am working with.)

https://thevaccinereaction.org/2020/08/novartis-pays-678-million-for-kickbacks-to-doctors/
”Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. of East Hanover, New Jersey has agreed to pay $678 million to settle a civil fraud lawsuit in which the U.S. government accused the company of illegally providing doctors with cash payments and other gifts for prescribing their cardiovascular and diabetes drugs between 2002 and 2011.
According to the Justice Department, Novartis hosted thousands of speaker programs and other events under the guise of providing educational content, when in fact the events served as nothing more than a means to provide financial incentives to physicians to prescribe Novartis drugs Lotrel, Valturna, Starlix, Tekturna, Tekturna HCT, Tekamlo, Diovan, Diovan HCT, Exforge, and Exforge HCT.”
Glad they’ve managed to clean their karma and turn over a new leaf - just in time for vaccine paydays. Wonder if those two things were in any way related?
https://nypost.com/2020/05/29/novartis-to-start-making-coronavirus-vaccine-this-month/

“The Massachusetts vaccine uses a vector of an adeno-associated virus, or AAV — a kind of virus that does not cause disease — to deliver genetic code to produce “protein fragments” of the new coronavirus and trigger an immune response, according to researchers.
The AveXis drug Zolgensma — which made headlines as the world’s most expensive drug with its $2.1 million price tag — also uses an AAV vector.”
But...wait! They’re not in it for the money (anymore). Duly humbled by their recent law-brushing, Novartis is another of these pharmaceutical companies offering to do it for cost:

2013.02.10 07:56 patrusk LPT: Taking brand-name prescription drugs? Check out their official websites before you pick them up. Many of them have coupons that will save you lots of money.

There's an important distinction to be made between Googling random coupons for a drug, and getting one directly from that drug's manufacturer. The official ones will save you more money, are going to be accepted at more pharmacies, and can be combined with your prescription insurance to save you even more money.
The other random coupons are only good if you have no insurance whatsoever, and are really just a scam to get money from pharmacies. These include pharmacy discount cards. Most chain pharmacies have their own in-house discount plans which are usually much better than these other ones, although some of them require a membership fee.
Common drugs that currently have good coupons (just off the top of my head):
A lot of these are good for future refills, too.
One more thing: if a coupon says "$20 CO-PAY!!!" in big giant letters, look for the asterisk that leads to the fine print. The fine print always says that you're only going to get the $20 co-pay if you have insurance that pays enough so that the coupon can bring the price down further. Most of them will have a maximum savings amount listed somewhere in the fine print, which is the maximum amount that that coupon will save you.
Source: I'm a pharmacy tech.
Edit: added Tamiflu to the list.
