I just finished my game and got coup by my brother. But I kind of love the ending. It was suppose to be prefect ending, democray and all but i acutally like that I got coup . Because i built a welfare state, imprion my cousin and also my war counsilor, I built a pretol state, massive oil coming it, reunited pale and the other provenvice. And form the southern allaince thing without wehlen. All without reading the guides ,some how. But as to why i love the fact i got coup, is that it a amazing story of a fail reformer like Pedro II of brazil . For some reason depsite me being angry like miniutes ago, i love the ending to my story.I escape to the island that suppose to be switzerland , and became a humanitarian. It prefeclty ending for my Romus. WHo would be remebered as a refomer that was bretray by his own noblity for caring about his people too much and try to give them more power. A story about a englitend king, bretayed by his uncle a corrupted nobleman. But also a man of peace, as rather than risk war between his poeople he left, to cause not blood to be spill in his dear country, and became a serviceman to the world. It so amazing how i unintentionally created situtation similar to Pedro II of Brazil. What funny is that I weaken he nobility i think, to the point they would not surive a second revolution, I taxed,sold everything in the military[They bisscally don't have a army] and all the other stuff. And I can already see a future were my Romus is the "Founder" or some Important figure or supporter in founding the Republic, he might even see it happen and support it or be like Simon II of Bulgria and become a president or prime minister with his popularity asd king . BTW the reason i got coup i think, is i try to frame my uncle for my fathers death or i was too hardline on the reforms. But i still love the ending and DLC. Failing was a real happy accident.

If Rimuru didn't get stabbed to death and reincarnated as a slime into Tensura overall how different would the world have looked like?
Subtracting absolutely everything that happened with Rimuru and Tempest how different the world has turned out as a result of their actions, how drastically different would things have turned out?
In the east we had Michael, Feldway, the angels, Velgrynd, and a military that's overall other worlder based filled with guns, bombs, tanks, and planes. While the west had the Rosso's, Luminous, Hinata and the Western Holy Church, as well as the other nations and figures we've met throughout the whole anime/manga/light novel.
Although I've seen people point out why the collective forced of the west united as one would prevent the Empire from taking over the whole world I still think as a standalone nation they're the most powerful military power in the world (If Tempest didn't exist) given they have the true dragon Velgrynd, Michael, Feldway and the Angels. Not to mention other than Luminous herself none of the Demon Lords would involve themselves in a military conflict since Guy vowed to stay out of it personally so the Octogram is out.
(I saw someone say before that the East couldn't defeat the west even if Rimuru didn't exist because the Octogram would stop them but I don't see why they would since other than Luminous of the Western Holy Church, none of them have a reason to lift a finger in the conflict) 😅
The east still had their ambitions, we have the west keeping the threat of the next great tenma war in mind. Just how different could the results have changed?

Before we start, allow me to lay all my cards onto the table: No, this is not me bashing Stellar Blade, just Eve's character (or lack there of). No, this is not going to be a "Culture War" fest or whatever, go find a Marvel movie to complain about. Yes, I am a Bayonetta stan. No, I did not play the game, but I've watched playthroughs and I'm not talking about gameplay anyway. Ok?
So Eve Stellar Blade is the new It girl that's been causing a stir with her "sexy" boobs and butt and it's all talk of the town and la de da. There's people saying she's a "fighting fuckdoll trope", there's men putting her on their anti woke pedstal and saying she's the chosen one that's going restore the world back to the good old days and kill the left like Sydney Sweetie's chest or whatever, and everything in between.
Well I, the local contrarian, have chosen the position to say she's barely sexy at all. Now, is she sexualized, are her developers pushing her into sex symbol status? Yes, that comes with the territory of her defult clothes being Ned Flanders Ski suit and her unlockable outfits including pin up girl cosplay. But is Eve Stellar Blade sexy? The answer is no and here's why:
1) We've seen this before
Oh boy, a woman in spandex so tight she almost looks like she's wearing nothing at all! There's only like 100 other female characters who do that!!
Eve Stellar Blade needs to fire her wardrobe manager because her design is boring AF, just the tried and true Si-Fi spandex that every other girl has worn before. Sad thing is, her unlockable outfits that give her a cute, baggy jacket make her one million times more appealing than the sexy outfit version of cardbord box that she's wearing.
2) She has zero personality
So the worst part of this whole culture war surrounding Eve Stellar Blade is I've been seeing people compare her to Bayonetta and like, first of all, keep the queen's name out your mouth. She's sleeping.
Second of all, forgive my tone but Bayonetta cannot be compared to any old raggedy trick. She is Bayonetta . Everything about her, from her clothes, to her hair, to her personality, to her name , it all demands you pay attention to her. Bayonetta is a stripper dominatrix witch with the personality to match. There has never been a leading lady in gaming like her before, and there most likely won't be another after her. No. Comparison. But even if there was a new girl that tried to take the queen's throne, it ain't Even Steven Blonde.
Quick question, type one quote, something iconic that came from Eve Stellar Blade's mouth. Cuz I can think of several from Bayonetta, byt I'll wait.
Back on track, Sexy is more than just your looks, it's how you carry yourself. You think the reason why all the girlies are thirsting after corpse man from Fallout is because they have a no nose fetish??? No!!! It's because that guy is charming and endlessly confident. Bayonetta is charming, endlessly confident, and the baddest bitch of every room she ever walked into.
What does Even Stellar Blade do, other than rely on her looks to secure anti wokers? I'll tell you what, nothing!! She has zero personality, zero charisma, zero prescence, her aesthetic is looking like an airbrushed Korean model in Spandex, and her greatest assets aretried and true gainaxing that's been in every game ever! Yall are comparing this girl to Bayonetta when Mother brought you disappearing clothes AND monstergirls? I'd ask you to raise your standards, but worshipping Even Steven requires you not have any anyway.

TL;DR

Eve Stellar Blade is a bitch and Bayonetta's son. She is also the J Lo of video game girls.

2024.05.14 04:54 Gemini_Nicolijah Games based around mythology/high fantasy

I recently got about as far as you can get (for now) in Hades 2, and I really enjoyed it as well as the 1st game. I'm obsessed with the Greek mythology aspect of both games, and I love the lore and relationship building in them too. I've always been really into games that lean into mythology, whether it's the games own created myths or long-standing mythology that's been around for a while in our world.
Some other games I enjoyed are AC Valhalla and Odyssey (mostly the Ragnarok DLC and lore, the combat was meh), the most recent God of War games, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice (super excited for the second one to release later this month), and I've also been a long time player of Smite. I'm also really looking forward to the release of Black Myth: Wukong.
Any suggestions are appreciated, no matter how obscure they may be! I will say that I highly appreciate games with beautiful graphics, but I'm fully down for pixel games too (Like Wizard of Legend). For reference, I mostly play on PC, but I also own an Xbox Series X and a PS5.

Hear me out. You can absolutley go bonkers with the benders. Set it in an AU so we can have the air nomads still be around.
Water benders? You got yourself large water cannons
Fire benders? Tar bombs
Rock benders? moving walls.
Air benders? idk hit and run.
You can really do a lot from just bending elements.
Or animals? You betcha people would use anything for war. Like we already see flying bisons or Mongoose lizard. We also have war machines that are mostly from fire nations. But I think we can allow some leeway with allowing the developers in making them for the other nations.
You could also have more factions then 4 I guess. Theirs the pirate nation,swamp nations,republic city,the diverse areas of earth kingdom,fire nation tribals, and maybe some rebbellions.
I promise the total war dudes have a great game from this idea. Plus it would be the first somewhat decent game in the avatar franchise. Dont know how good the card games are. Or you can set it in the early days of the avatar world. I imagine its very violent.

Let's talk about her Iconic scene from Jaws...the death of her character was such a shock to the audience it made the audience spread false rumor's by people saying that she actually died during the scene but we know that did not happen...and people pointed out that when she screamed ''It Hurts'' it made the viewers believe that she was in real pain although we are not 100% certain if she was or wasn't in real pain during the scene...rumors say it was just part of the act that she did so darn well and within the documentaries of this movie they mentioned that she did practice before the scene by putting water at the back of her throat without swallowing and trying to scream at the same time...and when she was ready to film the death scene she basically wore a harness with cables while in the water and the crew on the shoreline didn't tell her when she would be yanked back and forth so that her terrified reactions from the jolting would be genuine...and because her reactions looked genuine this is what made the viewers spread false rumors about her during the death scene...but also the death scene encouraged hundreds of thousands or possibly millions of people at the time to not swim in the waters which is something that still happens till this day for people who just watched Jaws for the first time...and in my opinion when Susan was around she deserved a medal for this because she possibly saved many lives by encouraging people to not swim in deep waters where there would be risks...this is what makes Susan one of the most or greatest scream queen of all time because not only she's just a scream queen but a hero.

2 years later after 'Jaws' she once again put back on her scream queen mode in another movie called ''Day of the Animals 1977'' but this time she wasn't eaten by a shark but this time getting attacked by a real cougar within an intense scene which she survived from that moment until later on within the movie she was killed off by these real huge eagles where she was getting eaten and dragged off by a cliff by these eagles where we see her scream to the top of her lungs then die, And another 2 years after that in 1979 she put on another decent performance from another movie directed by Steven Spielberg called ''1941'' which was a spoof of world war 2 and within this movie she recreated her iconic jaws moment that was a parody of Jaws...after that she had done 4 more roles then there was an announcement that Susan had retired from stunt work in 1982 which finished her off being in movies and shows but mind you she showed up in little projects after that like being in Documentaries based on movies she starred in and that little moment in men in black 2 where we only hear her voice.

Allow me to set the scene; It was hundreds of years ago, many of the kingdoms and nations you know today where either small villages or didn't exist at all yet. For this was the Forgotten Age, a time when history was not as well kept as today.
We begin our tale at the Grove of the Ancients, home to the greatest of the Druids and sacred gathering place of the Wildfolk, my people, the tribes had all gathered at the request of the Council of Archdruids. They sensed a great unbalance within the world, their efforts led them to find the source of this imbalance to come from the city-state of Skultha and so they sent five to investigate, Rokar of the Tallriders Tribe of the west, Maurook of the Wildvine Tribe of the East, Buruk and Lucoa of the Bearclaw Tribe of the North and myself of no tribe (at the time). All of us young and strong travelled to Skultha, when we arrived we were greeted by the nobility of the city, somehow they expected us. They tried to pursade us into joining in various discractions and firvorlous activities of their but we remained true to our purpose in Skultha, eventually we found a trail of lingering magic but this was not any ordinary magic this was Dark Magic, Forbidden Magic.
We followed the trail deep into the catacombs of the city, until we found the heart of it all and what we found haunted us to our cores. A dark ritual of the Demon Lords Re’d ‘hi-ttt, the Keeper of Lost & Forbidden Knowledge and Azaztoal, the Deep Betrayer was being preformed by their mortal acolytes, this ritual would sacrifice the souls of all those within the city to the Demon Lord and in return those preforming the ritual would be granted great and terrible power. It was to late, the ritual was nearly complete and in our youthful nature we ran. The ritual was complete and a black fog begun to engulf the catacombs, we ran as fast as we could but I was slow and would have been taken had it not been for Buruk throwing me to the others, this led to his death but he did it anyway. As we made our way to the docks some undead tried to stop us but we fought through them, we had nearly escaped but more undead begun to surrounded us. Lucoa made a path for our escape but he stayed behind to ensure our exit, I'll never forget the faces of those brave and kindhearted men...
Once we made it unto a boat we released the powers of the wind into the sails to quickly escape the reach of the black fog, almost all of Skultha died that day with the city itself being turned into nothing more than ruins and infact you can still go to these ruins this day. Along with us three on the boat were four residents of Skultha; Queen Diatha, her handmaiden, her sworn guard and the infant Princess Telia... we took them into our lives as new Wildfolk, to protect them from what was to come. On that day begun one of the greatest conflict of the Forgotten Age, a battle for Life and Death, a war between the Living and the Gravelords... the Soulblighted War...

I have only recently stumbled on this game and it looks promising.
For me the greatest time in gaming history (I am 43) was playing free for all on COD4 custom servers. I quit the franchise after world at war when it went auto match making.
Is there a chance this mode and dedicated servers are a possibility for this? I could start getting really excited if it is.

Hey dads, is it just me, but I'm 27 and a dad, and I just never seem to do well anymore while gaming. Not that I was some top tier kid either, but when I was younger for every 10 horrible games I'd have a monster game. Now-a-days I play game after game and I always get smoked, my best games are total garbage stats wise to the average player base. IE; in games like COD, I'm getting 10-12 kills to as many deaths. Games like world of warships, my average damage is only about 30,000 damage in a tier 3 game. War thunder, I can't remember the last time I saw the "mission accomplished" pop up, I'm always dead before the match ends. Is this just getting older? Or am I missing something in todays modern gaming? I've always enjoyed gaming and I feel like I'm missing something.

"Our infernal realm is what keeps us going." said the dark-winged figure of dark crimson skin and a heavily-singed leather toga carrying multiple forms of weaponry, coldly. The figure's eyes were a dull dead gray, his pupils etched with a faint red-energy. He had snaky-like hair and both the claws on his bare feet and hands were raven-shaded and extremely sharp. This figure was Dreadwing Satan, of House Satan--the ruling governance of the Wrathlands. Dreadwing was apart of the main family within House Satan--that being Satan, obviously. The ruling house of the Wrathlands is divided by three families: the Satan family, the Lucious family, and the Torchspire family. "And so," began Dreadwing, his voice always consisting an icy and menacing quality, also with a hint of gruffness. "It is what binds the Realm of Torture together. And so, today we are enacting one of the Realm of Torture's most oldest traditions that symbolizes our determination to stand firm and fight against the ongoing flames of damnation and..." While the ruling figure of House Satan kept on going, one of the countless members of the audience--Kaiden Torchspire, of the Torchspire branch of House Satan--was feeling extremely anxious about the upcoming tradition. The Blood Oath.
Kaiden had the ordinary dull dead gray eyes, but his pupils was etched with a faint purple-energy. His raven-shaded slick hair was greasy and dirty, and his crimson skin etched with countless aching bruises--all of that probably coming from his training sessions in his house's fortress' central training room. His claws were a dull pale white, and he was wearing classical tattered demon clothes but had dark-steel shoulder pads. Kaiden's relationship with the Torchspire family always seemed like sort of a curse; since he had to go through endless and rigourous training. But he always thought to himself that he was being ungrateful; since his life was more lucky then then what the lower ranks of demons within the Realm of Torture always had the short-end-of-the-stick.
The Blood Oath was a tradition almost as ancient as Hell itself, maybe it was, but the specific timing of its creation is unknown to the infernal society. The Blood Oath was a special ritual; where they would get countless cups of blood through rigiourous fighting and offer it to the ancient Seven Princes of Hell--the original inhabitance of the infernal realm. And only the ruling Houses of Hell had to participate in this demonic cultural event.
"...And so," began Dreadwing Satan once again. "It is of great pleasure to me and the ruling demons of the Lucious branch and the Torchspire branch of House Satan, that we hereby start the Blood Oath ceremonial line of events by the Night of Stars as usual. A message to the demons of both Lucious origin and Torchspire origin; best of luck in the perils ahead."
To any normal person in the Human World those lasts couple of words would deeply frighten them; but to demons like Kaiden it did not--since it happens every year.
Kaiden sat on his bed-made-for-a-king and laid there for a long time; he only had five days until the Night of Stars--the night that begins the Blood Oath tradition. The Night of Stars was chosen because of its legendary happenings within it; that were the nighttime in the infernal depths of Hell became the exact same appearance as the nights of the Human World; raven-shaded, and filled to the brim with hundreds of thousands of small dots of bright light--stars. The Torchspire youngling got up from his bed and walked out the grand dark-wooden doors that were the entrance and exit of the his bedroom, and shutting them close behind them. It was time for his daily training session. He continued walking through the large halls of the Torchspire fortress to the center room; the Damnation, which was the training room of the fortress. When he reached the large stone doors leading to the Damnation, he opened them up with ease and walked in confidently. Inside the massive training room was countless tactical practice exercises; such as dummies, targets with countless arrows in it, and even some cages that had human souls, where demons would practice torturing; since that was the fundamental task of the Realm of Torture and the original intent for the creation of Hell, at least until the formation of the Refuge Lands. On the right side of the Damnation was tall and slightly-muscular demon; his body of dark crimson, his raven-shaded hair greasy and dirty just like Kaiden's, and had the same exact pale white claws on both his barefeet and hands. He also had the same tattered leather clothes of demons, but were less tattered since he hasn't been as much training sessions after those new clothes were made. And he wore hard-steel shoulder pads similar to Kaiden's. This demonic figure was Kaiden's older brother; Domino Torchspire. He was also his partner-in-training. Kaiden walked towards the older Torchspire and when he reached him, Domino turned around and grinned as he saw his younger brother. Kaiden could see his gray eyes that were etched with the same faint purple-energy. "You're late, Kai." Shut up, you big oath. Kaiden thought to himself and then grinned. "Well, at least I wasn't too late that our father had to punish me by "means of unjustness."" Kaiden smirkingly remarked, since he was referencing what happened the day before. Domino frowned at his comment. "Shut up, Kaiden. Father would never punish his heir." "Yeah well, we'll see about that-" Kaiden never got to finish that remark when the grand doors of the Damnation flew upon and Kaiden and Domino's father burst in, his skin the casual dark crimson, had tattered leather robes, raven-shaded greasy hair, his claws on his feet and hands a pale white, and his eyes was an unusual dark-gray color, but still had the faint purple energy in his pitch-black pupils. Behind their father--Blackwood Torchspire--was a few dozen demon guards, that were covered in hard-steel armor. Their father turned to them and then began walking towards them, and then began speaking with his casual gruff but cold voice. "Domino, Kaiden, it would seem we have unexpected visitors. It's the Dull." The young and older Torchspire's eyes widened with surprise; since visits from the Dull. Of course, most demons knew of the Dull; they were the main unit of enforcement in the Realm of Torture. Their elite order was founded at the time right after the disappearance of the Seven Princes, and were known throughout the infernal depths as the most capable enforcement team in the Realm of Torture. The Dull are also known for their unparalleled mercilessness and an alarming will to vanquish any being that retaliates and gets in the way of their tasks. But now, presumably, they have come to the fortress of one of the three families of House Satan, one of the ruling governance forces in the Realm of Torture.

2296, The scene is set in a post apocalyptic Mojave desert, 15 years after a joint effort of the New California Republic, the Rangers, and the mysterious benefactor of the New Vegas Strip, Mr. House pushed back an attempted invasion of the Mojave and a final battle was waved for control of the hydroelectric powerhouse, Hoover Damm.
In the aftermath, Mr. House was removed from power discreetly, due to the actions of a wasteland wanderer on a mission for revenge, known only as the Courier. Mr. House's iconic Lucky 38 casino opened its doors, for the first time, offering a single floor casino and bar, it's upstairs remained an exclusive and mysterious meeting place for the New Vegas Strip's elite. The Lucky 38 represented one of the cleanest, most secure facilities, protected, like the rest of the strip, by the Securitron Mk 2, predominantly. Their presence ensured visitors on the Strip behaved themselves, though the other casinos maintained their own security and 'house rules' internally.
The Strip defined and maintained its status as an independent entity, determining through the Courier's observations that the NCR was stretching it's military might too thin, and couldn't realistically manage over the Strip and Mojave, so a new deal was struck, similar to the prior, but with The Strip extending it's Securitron security to enforce the immediately surrounding communities and a few outlying satelites. Trade to the surrounding areas increased, the Mojave benefitting from the prewar tech, pre-programmed security forces. The drug addicted fiends and other Raider groups would never be any match for their advanced weaponry, and ultimately were cleared out of existence.
The King's continued to watch over Freeside, making alliances with the Follower's of the Apocalypse... their desire to service the needs of the belittled, disadvantaged and destitute lined up, and this is where Mr. Wolf found his place in the story... the Courier and a Follower's doctor found love in the wasteland.... and raised a child together under a Ranger's flag... 23 years later? This is New Vegas...
A handsome man in a leather jacket sat in a dusty leather booth watching one of the girls dance on a pole, shaking her ass as bottle caps clinked on the stage in front of her. It was a swanky post apocalyptic casino strip club. A man in a leather jacket stood nearby, his hands crossed in front of his chest, "Kings" embroidered across the back in silver letters. A waitress approached him carrying a glass of some amber colored liquor, and sat it down at the half moon table. She lingered a moment in her lacey body suit, following his gaze up to the girl rubbing her tits in some older cowboys face.
"You don't get jealous seeing her like that, Mr. Wolf." The girl bit her lip and met his eyes as he picked up his glass and swirled it before giving it a smell and taking a slow swig. He tilted his head looking her over. She couldn't possibly be older then 19. Tight, perky little thing.
Mr. Wolf smirked and shook his head. "I like her... nice and wet when she comes to my bed."
The girl blushed and bit her lip. "So you like to watch?" She surmised.
"I don't mind, but why do you ask?" Wolf had these intense eyes that shot arrows into your very soul. It made her incredibly nervous... but she found it deeply exciting at the same time.
"Well... I'm living in 206 now... maybe... you might stop by sometime and I could dance for you? I know I don't have her body but... if you wanted something that was a little fresher... something... just yours?" She figeted her fingers against the table.
Jason looked her over once more and smirked.
"Two-Oh-six, huh?" He tilted his head, considering.
She nodded.
"Leave your cum soaked panties on my doorknob one of these nights if you really need it and maybe I'll come see if you got the moves." His Texan accent was subdued, but enthrallingly charming with his confident, somewhat bored with reality overtones.
"M-my panties?" She stammered turning bright red. "On your doorknob?" Alexa couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"If you're gunna shoot your shot with a dom... with an alpha... you need to be willing to submit. If you can't do that... I'm not interested." Wolf shrugged, completely unphased.
"But what about... what if..." Alexa glanced at Laura, the clubs most iconic stripper in the club, perhaps even the whole Strip.
She was taking some NCR soldier to the VIP lounge for a private dance.
Alexa had been bold enough to offer herself but now she was feeling nervous. If Laura wanted her out, she could lose her job... her home.
"Oh she won't mind... if anything she'll want to watch." Wolf shook his head, sensing her anxiety.
"Assuming of course... she likes the way you smell... she's funny like that." Wolf let the conversation end and Alexa nervously retreated.
Wolf sat drinking by himself, but got bored.
"Jakey, go get yourself a drink and sit down, I'm bored." Wolf called to his body guard.
Jacob looked over and nodded, giving the lounge one last look around before approaching the bar and getting himself a mug of beer, from the tuxedo shirt and boytie bartender Gerald, and returning to the table.
"What's on your mind boss?" Jacob had his hair slicked back in the usual King's gang hairstyle.
"Heard any rumors lately?" Wold looked at him, taking a drag from his cigarette and flicking the pack over to him.
"Honestly, boss, aside from the occasional drunkard or fiend rolling through freeside, nothing out of the ordinary... well, except... a way's out.. the crazy lady... Gloria was swearing up and down she found a headless metal suit of armor.. said the Enclave would burn down New Vegas. God's wraith and all that, you know how she gets."
"Enclave?" Jason's attention was piqued.
"Yeah, I don't know, she was probably just in withdrawal from the Jet... said she found it in the hollowed out shell of the Super Duper, out by the old highway." Jacob shrugged and drank from his beer and pulled a cigarette from the pack.
Wolf finished the last drag of his own cigarette. "Has anyone validated her claims?"
"Well... no... but... I mean... you've met her, she sees things that aren't there, all the time." Jacob shrugged and lit a cigarette.
Jason squinted, considering the resident crazy ladies most recent half coherent ramblings.
"That's an oddly specific hallucination though....take a group of guys out there tonight... humor me, and make sure she's not right." Wolf lifted his glass.
"Sir?" Jacob raised an eyebrow, thinking surely this could wait until tomorrow.
"Hypothetically" Wolf pondered aloud, "If there was... for some reason, there in-fact was... a pre-war, piece of military tech out there....a T-45, let's say, or T-60, best case scenario? We want it. Even if it's not at 100% capacity? It's fusion core alone... could change up the game for Freeside, something like that could make our tiny little city independent. We wouldn't have to be reliant on the scraps of New Vegas, and forget about the Hoover Dam completely."
Jacob caught Mr. Wolf's drift.. a fusion core could mean producing its own, radiation-free water, it's own electricity.. not just a little, a lot. Powering long dead machines, not to mention the agricultural benefits... producing healthier, higher yield tobacco... expanding their income ten fold.
Jacob suddenly felt like he understood Mr. Wolf's vision for the future.
"I should... go and deploy the King's to investigate." Jacob concluded.
"I think that would be for the best, I can take care of myself here." Wolf waved Jacob off.
Jacob downed his beer and excused himself.
Wolf drank the rest of his whiskey, extinguishing his cigarette.
Laura, the dancer came up to the table, and Wolf motioned to the blushing new waitress for a round, who felt a twinge of jealousy seeing her crush with the most popular stage act in town. She bit her tongue though, bringing over two more heavy pours of whiskey.
Laura eyed the girl as she came and went.
"She likes you." Laura concluded as the waitress walked away.
"Yeah.. I think she does." Mr. Wolf shrugged, flicking her a cigarette.
"The NCR boy liked me." She giggled wiping a little bit of cum from her lips and used half her shot like mouthwash.
"Get anything out of him.. other then.. his seed?" Wolf sighed.
"Of course," She grinned mischievously, "Apparently there's been trouble out West with the Brotherhood. They had some type of skirmish? Apparently NCR lost? NCR was apparently holding some old world tech, I don't know, but apparently it lit up the west coast power grid, like... in it's entirely?" Laura tilted her head to look at him.
"The entire western power grid was lit up by a single piece of tech??" Wolf shook his head at the topless girl beside him.
"Yeah, I had to make him cum twice for more details, but apparently it's the size of a grain of rice, with quote, unlimited energy potential." Laura relayed the information. It seemed more important then a suit of power armor or its fusion core.
"Who else knows about this?" Wolf demanded with his eyebrows squinted against his eyes.
"Anyone with a functional light bulb for... like... three hundred miles?" Laura guessed with a shrug.
"You said... it was the Brotherhood that took the win on the skirmish?" Wolf clarified some details.
"Yeah... rumor has it they have a new up and coming knight that's making waves." Laura shrugged.
"Stay on the rumors... I need details." Mr. Wolf nodded at her, drank his whiskey and stood up, downing his drink.
An energy source that powerful would have a big effect on the balance of power in the Mojave. It could mean a resurrection of the New California Republic to it's former glory and then some, and potentially... might mean a renewed effort to reclaim the western part of the former United States, in time.

2024.05.14 04:11 Existing_Hour_6703 First time fanatical purifier, and I feel unstoppable.

This is more just a one sided rambling session, but HOLY FUCK this is better than snorting a pile of Zro on a Saturday evening!
Seriously, I started this run expecting to like, beat one empire if I tried really hard. So instead of rushing i was patient, colonizing worlds, building my economy. Really I only got into one or two wars at all before building my planet-killers. But when I did, it was Before the mid-game.
And holy shit, declaring war on the xenophile fallen empire and blowing up cradle, mother and brother was amazing (I invaded the preserve with my armies, couldn't resist the urge of such a varied purge)
But man oh man, that pales in comparison to the materialist fallen empire. When they awoken, the notification rang out, and I imagine my galaxy must have shuddered with fear at the thought of such a mighty foe re-entering the political climate.
I on the other hand said "oh, they only have 40k more fleet power than me."
So, Naturally, I built up my forces, conquered their capital, and did what I consider my most evil act so far.
I blew up the archives.
Now, at this point, I had blown up at least over fifty worlds, the kill count definitively well over 100 billion
And yet, destroying this archive of knowledge so vast even the FE themselves couldn't plumb its depths felt, almost worse somehow?
It's kind of like burning a million libraries of Alexandria, there is practically no justification for an action that vile
It sort of gave me pause and genuinely ponder on how monstrously evil my empire must be to justify something like this to its people.
It also made me wonder how the rest of the galaxy felt, gearing up to deal with an almighty FE only to see me swoop in and demolish their entire order.
Anyway, after that, I picked a fight with the largest federation in the galaxy (Literally all but three empires aren't a part of it) and wiped out half the galaxy. I never thought I could expand this much, and with the invention of gateways, it's not unreasonable to navigate.
I'm genuinely wondering if it's feasible to exterminate every last xeno now 🤔
Oh well, thanks for listening, back to purging the galaxy!
