I found this job as a first year student and was proud of it until people who are friends with our manager started getting promoted to 2nd level agents, some of them even started working later than me. I am studying informatics, most of them aren't.
Job of a 2nd level agent is to lead 1st level agents, give them problems and answer thier questions.
I still haven't been promoted to 2nd level agent after working for more than a year.
First I blamed me because I am type of person that wants to be 100% sure before giving the answer to constumer so I used to ask questions to make sure, 2nds apparently hate being asked questions to the point there is new rule you need to mail them your question and wait for them to answer (while they are pretty much sitting next to you), at this point I barely talk to my colleagues.
I am always praised by newer colleagues for helping them when 2nds are not present (or when they are but they don't bother to answer mails), I have the highest efficiency and stopped questioning all together.
Now I am feeling stuck as I feel you need to be social to get promoted further and feel like I wasted almost 2 years.

Perfect marriage

"It's the perfect marriage," said the source, "as it would be a beautiful and spectacular way to come full circle: to debut and 'champion' with KTM in 125cc and to conclude your successful career with the same factory, taking it, who knows, to the top of premier class. It is clear that for the World Championship organisers to have Márquez as a Ducati rider is not comparable to presenting a 'team' on the grid with the all-time champion and Pedro Acosta, 'the shark of Mazarrón', who everyone considers, right now, the heir of the eight-time world champion.

Many in the MotoGP paddock are wondering what Ducati can offer Marc Márquez, compared to what the millionaire tandem formed by Red Bull and KTM could offer him. Those who are voting for the deal (Marc Márquez's move to Red Bull KTM) to become a reality are not looking at contract reasons or anything like that. True, the Austrian brand has several riders under contract, including South African Brad Binder, one of the last riders in the sprint race yesterday, and Australian veteran Jack Miller, but, at the end of last season, it had to make room for the 'shark of Mazarron' in its structure and it did it quickly and efficiently.

The situation is that I worked for the Post Office. On the 18th of April, I decided to resign and I was unable to do notice. I've been threatened with having 4 weeks' worth of wages deducted from my pay as that's what the contract outlines, and the 'time that it takes for them to find a replacement'. 'If you leave without giving the proper period of notice or leave during your notice period without permission. The Employer shall be entitled, as a result of your agreement to the terms of this contract, to deduct a day's pay for each day not worked during the notice and any sum so deducted will be in full and final settlement of The Employer's claim for your breach of contract. The deduction may be made from any final payment of salary which The Employer may be due to make to you. The amount deducted is a genuine attempt by The Employer to asses its loss as a result of your leaving without notice. It is not intended to act as a penalty upon termination.'
'The length of notice which either party is obliged to give the other to terminate, your employment is mandatory four weeks' notice period is required in all circumstances, failure to do so and leaving without notice period will incure in deduction of cost to employ external staff to cover that notice period.In extreme cases we might terminate your employment if we consider it deemed in business interest'
I've asked my manager to clarify if it meant that I'd be losing the previous 4 weeks' pay. She proceeded to block me. My area manager soon talked to me about the situation, and after discussing things, I just said I'd resign. She confirmed that it just meant that I wouldn't be paid for the 4 weeks' notice since I won't be working that and I would get my pay, before proceeding to block me. I've sent emails to try and discuss things with my boss, but he's refused to contact me, nor give me a payslip to show where the deductions have been taken.
On the day that my pay comes, the 1st of every month, I noticed that I had nothing come for me. After another email, to which I wasn't given a reply, I talked to ACAS to start early conciliation, they talked with my boss, and he replied that he is firm on the contract and refusing to pay me at all. Finally after talking directly face-to-face with my manager, she talked to my boss and said that I would have a letter coming for this. This was on the 6th of May, though, and I've had nothing arrive since then.
After talking to some friends, they said that while he can take deductions from my pay, he must still pay me for the hours that I have worked, and afterwards in a claims court, take the money back while providing proof rather than retroactively pretending that there was costs. I have talked to my previous coworkers and had them send out the work rota to me, showing that he has not hired anyone at all during my 4 week notice.
For context, I'm paid minimum wage and just want my 79 hours of work paid to me. To this day, I'm still waiting for my pay and I'm prepared to do an Employment Tribunal but I'm unsure of the steps or if I'm able to sort this out without resorting to that, is there anything that I can do concerning this?

Hey. The Lemmo One is top of my shortlist right now, kinda against my better judgement. Become a bit obsessed with my next bike having a belt drive. It’ll be replacing a non-electric single speed bike that I commute on (as my knees are shot now). My route isn’t pan flat, has a couple of short sharp hills, but even with my dodgy knees I can manage them on my current bike.
I have read through everything on here but: How are belt drive Lemmo riders finding theirs? How is the bike with the motor disengaged? And generally how are Lemmo as a company? I’m UK based so there is very little Lemmo presence here and that concerns me. I’m pretty near their only UK partner though.

I (23F) have been working as staff/receptionist at a gym for more than half a year now and it often gets very hot where I live, depending on the day. We also have an outdoor section with lots of calisthenics and crossfit stuff and I often have to be out there taking care of things throughout the day.
So I have worn more than once only a sports bra as top. I thought that in the context of a gym it should be allowed. I have actually worn this many times and never had an issue with my managers before (there's more than one supervisors)
What I think the issue is here, is that one of the newer supervisors tried to indirectly ask me out over a month ago, it wasn't directly asking me out, but he was insinuating something like that, and I knew exactly what he meant, but I wasn't interested so I basically said no. He wasn't a supervisor back then, he was working in the office and was promoted recently. And it was him last week that told me I wasn't allowed to wear a sports bra, because it was technically not the appropriate staff attire.
I told him that I wore it before and was never told I couldn't by other supervisors... It's been very warm and sunny since and I have been wearing it every day since he says that. This monday, the same guy now says I had been warned already and that he will have to notify the upper management. Yesterday I was told by upper management that because I have disobeyed the instructions of my supervisor and been wearing attire that is not the appropriate one according to the contract, that they have grounds for firing me if I do not stop immediately.
I don't want to lose the job, but I also feel very uncomfortable and watched now, and honestly I think there is some jealousy involved with this guy, because it had never been an issue at all before... I think this is not reasonable considering the context of a gym!

While true that most La Poubelle "protesters" were following the leads of Hypocritical Willy and D.O.G. (Defender Of Grift), tonight the true leader revealed himself. ASL (allegedly) dredged up his best General Patton impression and in leaked audio gaslit his misfit protesters:

"We're not holding anything! Let the Hun Koster do that. We're gonna go through her like foie gras through a goose!"

After meeting with his top lieutenants in charge of his vanity operation, we get this 84-minute stream. The purpose seems to be nothing more than salvaging the plummeting reputations of LA's Rebels Without a Clue and demonize Francois Koster (with no new information).

Aaron on Willy: "I absolutely understand Hypocritical Willy not wanting anyone (Daniel) to speak for him...I could understand why he would be upset"

And in 84 minutes of video, were there any mentions of the protesters harassing patrons or neighbors?
We now know the internet streamers outside La Poubelle are NOTHING more than cannon fodder in this egotist's revenge play. He's enticed a bunch of kids with the carrot of cross-promotion, internet fame and more click$. Just as we've witnessed "86GOP" manipulate who, what, where & how with donations, we're witnessing similar manipulation.
Feigning sympathy, he barks at Koster the "false charges against protesters, who were followed & harassed, tires punctured, cars keyed, patrons sent to assault." (ALL of which happened AFTER ASL's vanity protest call, by the way. Can you say cause & effect?) Doesn't shared responsibility lie with Patton-without-a-plan?
Everything from this post I still believe to be true. And as far as we know, the ONLY person who saw the finger flip was ASL (trustworthy?). Irrelevant anyway. Restating for the umpteenth time: Koster bad, yes very. (Is she as bad as ASL's business acquaintance and personal hero, billionaire Bill Ackman? NOT ON YOUR LIFE.)
But is this worth the collective thousands of hours and dollars spent out there, along with potentially damaging their futures with criminal records, etc? Well for Aaron, apparently it still is. Nice.To.Know.
LA protesters: This isn't a bad plan, it's indifference. And ego. YOU'RE BEING PLAYED. Get out. Do something that'll make you feel good about yourself and not question whether you're doing the right thing or not. Daniel and Zach made that decision. They are worthy of admiration- not many of these other clowns or OGCG.
This whole situation effing STINKS. It doesn't matter whether we stumbled upon an elaborate money-making scheme through clicks & donations, or if it was just an unwise choice to enlist a bunch of streamers to add visibility to a personal cause. The result is the same for me: I no longer care to invest my time or mind space to this little cult. LDS cult is 100x bigger and Ziontology is even multiples larger and far more insidious.
I've increasingly had issues with ASL that I've kept to myself as I sorted my thoughts. But it has become 100% clear to me that he is AT BEST an intelligent, ambitious fool damaged by a cult, empathetically selective and therefore unfit to lead people in a social cause. At best.
A rational empath could not escape one evil cult only to work with, endorse and admire prominent members of a far worse death cult. I don't believe that's possible. ASL is rational, but I no longer believe he's an empath, therefore I doubt his authenticity. So I no longer have the ability to care about him or his interests.
Meanwhile, we're 223 days into the mass slaughter of our fellow human beings; children. More to come tomorrow. Another $1B announced TODAY towards that end. Whoever your God is, nobody is more important to Him than them. This has become an ignorant distraction from that- for me anyway.
Feel like I need a shower now realizing what I've been bathing in.

10yr old male neutered Siamese, indoor only, UK. History of chronic constipation, pancreatitis, and uti. Recently in hospital for jaundice (only symptom was slight yellow at temples and ears but he seemed his usual self otherwise) and discovered through blood tests, ultrasound & CT scan- liver bile ducts are enlarged, gallbladder has sludge, mild pancreatitis?, and urinalysis showed some crystals, kidneys on ct scan show signs of early/mild CKD.
Currently on antibiotics and a liver support tablet. Lactulose daily for constipation management. Ultrasound next week on liver to check bile duct. Then may be prescribed medication to get bile flowing.
He is bright, talkative, grooming himself, jumping and climbing his trees and scratch posts, using his litter box well, passing stool daily, eating and drinking on his own.
Food history- He was on senior wet pate food with added water, that I would mash into a custard consistency which works for managing his constipation and bladder issue. Last UTI was over 2 yrs ago.
Now that he has multiple organ involvement and there are so many prescription diet foods for specific diseases, I’m confused as to what is best for his conditions.
Currently trying his usual wet food and introducing dry Hills Liver support and even with small amount he vomited all the kibble. I have wet Dechra Specific Senior (gastrointestinal, kidney support) arriving tomorrow to try.
I know the kidneys need to be low in certain things and yet the liver needs certain ingredients for support. Do these foods contradict each other?
After researching so many brands and diets it’s overwhelming. Our current vet has just said to try to introduce the liver support kibble again but I’m nervous since he vomited it yesterday.
Is there a support food that can do it all? Support the liver, kidneys and constipation? If not, which food should take priority? Liver or kidney?
