Hello everyone, so my little one is 55 days old and two days ago she had mucus with little blood in it in her nappy. I contacted the doctor immediately and he told me because we had no other symptoms she might have allergy to cows milk protein or nuts. So I stopped eating dairy and nuts two days now, and on monday we are taking her stools and urine to a lab to eliminate any virus or other conditions. We also went to the doctor's office to examine her as she developed a slight cough that worried us a lot. Her lungs sounded fine, her throat and tongue weren't swollen and her ears were also ok. To sum up her symptoms are diarrhoea, gas, pain when pooping, cough (which causes her reflux and vomit some times) and red eyelids. Has anyone else has similar symptoms? Is it something serious? Also I'm reading about soy allergy online and I was wondering if I should cut soy milk as well? I'm first time mum and her being so little and dick worries me a lot.

As a noob this messed me up. Like wth, your traders don’t do anything that could qualify as trade. You make them, they walk to the market, COLLECT money, and deliver it back. More like they get paid for long distance trekking.
I spent so long online trying to figure it out, reading “they bring back more gold the further they travel” over and over instead of anything useful like what I was supposed to even do. At one point on a custom game I tried it out, made like 15 markets that just sat there, not one trader, instead I used it to buy and sell resources, yknow, trading.
What’s dumb is that there is trade at the market, but not via the traders.

Hey yall. 30F here who has been feeling listless and directionless for a long period of my life.
I work a job that I like enough as a finance person at a non-profit, but it may as well be data entry. I am rarely very busy, but my position is crucial enough when the work does pick up and the environment is really great. I’m in office two days a week which I usually save most of my work for, to use as my “busy” days.
Otherwise, I went to college later in life (started when I was 22 i think) and I always wanted to go to school for media and editing. For my whole life, I wanted to work with audio and video in some way. But because I was an “adult learner” and was working a fulltime job to put myself through college, I only had the options to take night courses that were “adult learner” focused (this was all before online classes). I got my degree in economics and have worked various client relations/account executive/data and finance jobs. I have no idea how I got here or how to pivot out of it at this point.
Since I now kind of have the time with my current workload not being overwhelming, I am realizing how little I do with my free time and how little motivation I have to strive for a more fulfilling life. I do have major depressive disorder and will likely soon find out what relief medication may offer to this mindset.
But I am always stuck wondering: how can I fill my time with something meaningful? I have always desired a more creative outlet. My partner and I explore food and wine and enjoy the culinary scene, that is just about the only “creative” hobby I can think of. I want so badly to figure out how to develop skills in audio editing/engineering and video editing but because I didn’t go to school for it, I get so nervous to be 100 steps behind everyone else in an already saturated field. I am also scared I just don’t actually care for any of it as much as I tell myself I do. I don’t think I actually know what I want to do or how to take any steps forward at all. I have ruminated on this for so long and always come up empty.
Looking for any advice on how to fill my days with more meaningful moments and begin to work towards a more fulfilling and satisfying career. Thank you for reading!

I was impressed with the genuineness of the people, bordering crass and offensive! Truly cool group. It was nice to feel welcomed, but also "checked at the door". I respect it because I'm pretty forward myself.
But the chance to meet them came from their efforts in hosting a booth at the local Pride event, and I didnt feel it was proper to take up too much of their time with questions during a fun celebration. Our congregation's website doesn't have further info on group activities or meet ups, and only leads to an email to contact our leadership. It seems like it really just consists of merch promotion and sparse events spread out by months at a time.
I'm eager to learn more, and connect with like-minded individuals who can challenge my personal philosophies for mutual growth.

(Note: I posted this on Android but I wasn't sure if I did something incorrect because it was removed by the bot immediately, and I don't know how to get it approved. So... if you see it there too, then it must have gotten approved at some point and that's why. Just trying to find a home for this discussion and I promise I'm not trying to spam!)
After a decade with iPhone, curiosity finally got the better of me and I made the switch to Android. My trusty iPhone 13 Mini is still there just in case, but I really do hope to sell it soon. I wanted to document my journey over the last 72 hours with Android in case it helps someone else sitting on the margin just looking to dive in.
These 10 things are simply my opinions and reflections! I'm sure my feelings will continue to evolve, but here's where I'm at after 3 days. As I started typing, I did not expect this to be so long, but I had so many things floating through my head. Sorry for the long read and I'd love to hear others who have made similar changes.
1. Sloppy first impressions: I started with a Pixel 8. Got it for $390, in like new condition during eBay's memorial day sale, and just couldn't pass up that deal. The look of the phone never really attracted me before, but after a few hours it really grew on me. However, I really started to get annoyed at the experience and polish. For example, I had a lot of screens where the text was cut off or folders where the text was cut off. There were system pop-ups where I was expected to approve something that disappeared within a second before I could even read it - was it approved or was it declined?! But what really was upsetting was that there's no way to sort notifications by time. The phone would beep and then I'd have to spend a few seconds trying to figure out what the heck the notification was amidst the long list. Half the time, the time stamp doesn't even show and I'm left wondering if I missed something. This was exacerbated when I started not receiving notifications I would expect, because my iPhone (which was still on WiFi only mode) was getting notifications for new Gmail messages for example, and the Pixel just stayed quiet. That was unacceptable and I decided to return the phone.
However, my significant other has a Samsung, and she mentioned never having these issues so I stuck it out and tried again. This time, I figured - go big or go home - and I got the Samsung S24 Ultra.
2. Much better second try: I read a lot of bad experiences about the UI of Samsung coming into this, but frankly it's a lot more polished than the Pixel. It's like there's a nice coat of paint over all the underlying workings and as an iPhone user, I appreciate that. Everything looks great and while I've been toying with some of the themes in the Galaxy store, I have gone back to the normal One UI each time.
3. Smart Switch works great. It took about an hour to transfer all my settings and applications over to the Samsung. The only thing that took a little bit of figuring out was how to get 25K+ iCloud backed up photos onto this phone. Fortunately, there's an official Apple method for transferring iCloud files to Google Photos, and I initiated that. It's still not done but assuming this goes to plan, the transfer process wasn't that bad at all. I pretty much plopped my iPhone sim card into the Android, spent an hour waiting, and then all my old applications, wallpapers, and even placement of icons was there. Then, I just spent about half an hour signing into everything that I needed to (1Password is hugely helpful!) and I'm off to the races.
4. Settings galore: I am not used to this many settings! It seems I am approving or declining permissions all day long. I have multiple Gmail accounts setup, and I have to go in and adjust each account's notification setting when I just want all of my Gmail messages to have the same setting. I thought I would like this level of customization but it's been a little frustrating finding everything, or trying to figure out what I'm even approving. I find myself on YouTube looking for videos for how to change things such as the lock screen shortcuts. I am hoping that once I get through this initial difficulty, then I'll be cruising. And the biggest thing - Samsung lets me sort notifications in chronological order! That's huge (for me).
5. Navigation bars on top. Why?: I had a small iPhone Mini so one-handed navigation was never a real challenge but I still appreciated how all the menu bars (Facebook, Safari, etc.) were on the bottom of the phone. It made navigation really easy. With all the customization I mentioned in #3, I just assumed this would be an easy fix on Android and I'd be able to change this for any app. I was wrong! Other than Firefox, I have not figured out how to do this in Chrome or Facebook (as an example). I really do not understand why the iPhone version of Facebook would have this on the bottom but the Android version would have it on the top! For a phone as big as the S24U, that would've been a really nice option.
6. PhoneLink is pretty good: I had gotten rid of my Macbook a long time ago. I basically live on my Phone and also have an iPad for when I need a bigger screen and a Windows desktop for professional work. Integration b/w devices was never a big deal to me but I put I setup Phone Link and it's been pretty good. I don't have any real complaints so far - I can transfer files and get all my notifications and respond directly from my computer.
7. Dex is really cool but also buggy: The dream of having only to carry around my phone and never having to open up a laptop, tablet or desktop would be amazing. This phone is definitely powerful enough for the applications I use for work - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. But Dex has some weird quirks that make it a little unreliable. For example, every time I open up an image in Gallery on Dex, the screen goes black for a few seconds before coming back on. Close the picture? Same thing! The cursor scroll just isn't as smooth as on my Desktop machine where I can customize the DPI settings exactly on the Logitech app. These are small things but build up into a less than perfect experience. But when it works, it works great and it's so close to a dream realized.
8. Face unlock is pretty bad, and the fingerprint reader can be hit or miss: FaceID on iPhone was a pleasure to use, except when it's not - i.e., I'm lying in bed. But for most situations, it works pretty good. For those moments I do wish I had a fingerprint reader so it's really nice to have that on the Samsung. But with that said, the Face unlock is horrendously bad. It works about 3/4 of the time in good light and then never in low light. I think the fingerprint reader is 80% successful on the first try for me but that's still lower than I think it should be. Perhaps I should re-register my finger. (Also, what's up with the super bright fingerprint reader on the Pixel 8? I feel like I was staring at the sun every time went to activate it! That said, it does feel like the Pixel's face unlock is better than Samsung). And on the topic of security, I think one of the biggest things I miss is Apple Pay. Some of my favorite go-to restaurants locally let me order online and pay directly using Apple Pay. Now I have to memorize my credit card number....
9. This thing is super powerful. I think people who choose Android chose it for two primary reasons: customization (which I mention in #2 and #3) and power to be productive. It has been very cool to be able to export files from one app directly into another app, edit it there, and save it as a file and then transfer it to my desktop. On iPhone, it was never a certainty which applications I'd be able to import files directly into but on Samsung it seems everything is available. There's always a workaround or solution or a method to doing something and that's been pretty cool. The Snapdragon processor is quick and the screen is beautiful. It's a great media consumption device and I hope it continues to be as snappy as it is now, because 7 years of updates is a very long time!
10. But the size of this phone is kinda insane. Especially coming from an iPhone mini, this thing is so big! It literally does even fit in my pockets when I am sitting and I've had it slide out a couple times onto the floor already because so much physically hangs out of my pants when seated. If Samsung made a smaller Ultra version of the phone in the same size as the S24, then that would be perfect (kinda like how Apple has the Pro and Pro Max). I think if there's a reason I end up going back to iPhone, it's because of the size of this thing. I want something as powerful as the Ultra but in a smaller package, and I haven't found another company that makes something like that. I don't have a case yet and maybe a more textured case will resolve this.
I'll keep this experiment going as I want to make a real effort to switch. Looking forward to continued learning!

Dropped out of college few years ago but I still couldn’t forget my professor in Histology class. When the classes shifted online in the midst of pandemic, my depressive episodes worsen, our family didn’t have savings or financial stability to support our education by buying us laptop or pc to attend classes.
I missed most of my classes and I was so behind everyone else. Our finals came and I was not able to take the exam since my phone gave up on me. It was only after a day that I was able to contact my professors and informed them of what happened.
My professor in Histology told me that it was okay to skip the exam. I was open about everything, I told her my family is really struggling to make ends meet plus my father lost his job and my mental health is not in the right space to continue everything. I told her I’ll take the exam, she invited me to join a one on one meeting on Zoom. She guided me all through out the session. She read each item until I finish the exam. After that, we had a deep conversation about what’s happening to me. It’s embarrassing but I cried my heart out since she’s the only professor who showed compassion to me during that time.
Time came where I decided to drop out of college, I wrote her an email about my decision, I told her one day I’ll make her proud and I’ll be as compassionate as her when I become a teacher one day.
She’s one of the main reasons why I want to continue my degree in Education. She was my ray of sunshine when everything was a blur in my life. I just hope one day I get to meet her and tell her personally about the accomplishments I did when I become successful.

After that, we had a deep conversation about what’s happening to me. It’s embarrassing but I cried my heart out since she’s the only professor who showed compassion to me during that time.
Time came where I decided to drop out of college, I wrote her an email about my decision, I told her one day I’ll make her proud and I’ll be as compassionate as her when I become a teacher one day.
She’s one of the main reasons why I want to continue my degree in Education. She was my ray of sunshine when everything was a blur in my life. I just hope one day I get to meet her and tell her personally about the accomplishments I did when I become successful.

Last night I had a very abnormal dream. It started with just pitch black vast nothing with a high pitch tone for what felt about 35-40 minutes. Then abruptly a display of a waterfall appeared. It wasn't like I was at a waterfall, but more like a still scene or an image of a waterfall. Then the songs Libet's Delay by The Caretaker begun playing (Which I know sounds absurd and a bit cliche, but I have been listening to it quite frequently recently so that's probably why.). Then a few seconds after the song had started I could feel my heart racing and felt as though something had been watching me. Suddenly, it then appeared that I had woken up in my bedroom, but the song was still playing. I looked around and noticed that my closet was closed which wasn't the case when I fell asleep. Then I had woken up for real and everything was as it was when I fell asleep, including my closet being open. There was this sense of dread that had been in my mind the whole time that lingered after I awoke, so I couldn't go back to sleep proper. None of this is really out of the ordinary for my dreams, I just felt like sharing it. Thanks for reading.

Other disclaimer: This is a post I made on a website a month ago but no one responded unfortunately. So when you read stuff like “a week ago” and see the dates don’t correlate to now, that’s why.
Background information: I had two friends, one a guy and the other a girl. We were all online friends for years, me and the guy were friends since I was in elementary school.
Starting with the guy who from here on I’ll call Blake (not his real name of course) me and Blake were the best of buds, we played the game basically every day, and regardless of our different lives and us only being online friends, I actually liked Blake a lot (as a friend). But Blake had a tendency of bullying me, which didn't bother me too much when I was younger, but as I got older, I did. For example, I told Blake one time that I failed/got held back in first grade, and he would bring that fact up whenever anything intelligence-wise come up or just bring it up out the blue. “N word, you failed the first grade” or “ok…flunky” and other variations. He would say all that…even though first grade was a million years ago (I’m a senior about to graduate high school, and I haven’t gotten held back or struggled with grades since.) (I’ve graduated high school now!). Like I'm about to graduate and he would still make fun of me with that fact, saying stuff like "you would've graduated soon if you didn't fail the first grade" and if I tried to rebuttal saying how I do well in school, he would say "well you did the first grade twice so of course you'd do better. you've done it twice".
He would constantly compare his life to mine, making fun of how I’m a virgin who never done anything with a girl, my social anxiety, me being a loner, how I don’t have as much money as him, how my parents are not as laid-back as his, how I didn’t have as much money as him, make fun of the type of girls I like, my music taste, and more.
He was controlling while we played games. He would always decide what games we played, and he would bitch and moan when I wouldn’t get onto a game he wanted to play with me despite valid reasons like it being too expensive. He would always be on his phone or just be otherwise distracted for long periods of time when we're playing, and then he would expect me to wait for him. He was especially very controlling when we play a game like R6s, he would be in my ear after he died ordering me around and telling me what to do and where to go, expecting me to get kills when I’m completely trash at the game, then he would complain heavily when I would of course die. Note: he was a frequent rage quitter and frequently switched games, which was very annoying
There is way more things he would do but if I typed them all out, I would be typing all damn day, so I’ll stop here.
Next is the girl, who I’ll refer to as Amber.
Amber was not so bad, she was annoying at times, and she would sometimes mimic the things Blake did but overall, she was alright. But she did contribute to the situation I’m in as well as Blake did overall.
For the last year, It got to the point where I would be so fed up with them, mostly with Blake, that I would ghost them, not talk or play with them for a few days to basically recover before interacting with the two again. I would even groan in annoyance when either one of them would call me. I would either ignore their calls or make up a lie of me being busy with other things so i wouldn’t have to play with them.
Now I know what you guys are thinking, "why didn't you tell them how you felt about their treatment of you???", well, I tried, but I would just be met with being called a "pussy" or "soft" and the behavior wouldn't change.
Now: Now let’s go back about three weeks ago, April 1st, my 19th birthday, Amber called me up and told me to hop on the game, I was in the ignoring them phase, but I decided to hop on because they wouldn’t be mean to me, right? Wrong, they told me to install rocket league, a game I’ve never played in my entire life and when I was able to join their game and we got into a match, I was obviously performing very very poorly, but that didn’t stop them very berating me and telling me how trash I am…even though they been playing longer than me.
Then we got on Roblox, and I was having technical difficulties because I was using the Microsoft store version of Roblox as I didn’t know that there was an actual Roblox client and launcher. when the two found out that I was using the Microsoft store version, they proceeded to berate me and belittle me some more, calling me stupid and dumb and questioning how in the world did I not know about the Roblox launcher and just basically making it feel like I just committed a cardinal sin. Then we play some Roblox, and somehow someway I kept on doing things wrong and games were playing because I kept on getting berated and belittled. Eventually, I got off.
I didn’t talk to them on the second, but I did talk to them and play with them on the third. We ended up playing Roblox again and just like last time I was getting berated and belittled because I would do things that they didn’t like. And after a couple hours, we eventually stopped playing Roblox and it suddenly goes into Blake diss tracking me. He would find random rap instrumentals on YouTube and then he would rap over them dissing me. He then told me to diss him back but I didn’t want to cause I was already in a bad mood, and I’m not good with words so I would make a fool of myself. And despite me saying multiple times that I didn’t want to rap, they both kept saying that I had to rap, eventually I just unplugged my mic and said that my mic was broken, which caused Blake to be like “if you don’t want to rap just say that dude, you don’t have to do all that”, like, bruh, I said I didn’t want to rap multiple times…
Eventually, I left a discord call and went to sleep because I had school in the morning, and when I woke up in the morning and checked my Discord, I saw that I had a message from Blake and the message said “pussy”. After that, I ignored them again until the 6th. When I took my phone off chill mode (do not disturb which I have specifically to hide text and calls from Blake and Amber) I noticed that Blake unfollowed me on Instagram and that he kicked me out of the discord server (it was of course his server as he liked being in control of everything). I was like "damn", but I just went on about my day, Amber was still following me though.
Now today, the 25th of April, I realized that Amber unfollowed me on Instagram as well, and that they both blocked me on Steam. So, I thought our friendship was over, so decide to unfollow both of them on Instagram, Discord, Steam, and delete both of their contacts from my phone.
I wasn't perfect in the friendship either, but I never berate or belittle either of them, bully and make fun of either of them constantly for their struggles in life or interest, and I never made either of them feel inferior. Never...
Part of me feel relief that I no longer have to deal with them anymore, but another part of me feels sad as they were both my only friends. I don't really know how to feel or if I should try to reach out to them somehow and apologize for ghosting them.
As I’m sure a lot of you can gather, I’m not a very confident person nor I’m I one that does conflict. But I feel like if I tried harder to preserve our friendship, maybe we’d still be friends? Like, maybe if I was more adamant and forceful about them stopping with their behavior? I'm looking for an army that takes mediocre or even weak units and through some type of buff mechanic makes them stronger. Ideally this would be from leaders but things like unit coherencey could work too. Think armies like tau or guard in warhammer, the whole undead faction in AOS or menoth in warmahordes. Menoth being the closest.
I've seen that this description kinda fits both Republic and CIS but neither fits exactly. But i'm completely new to legion. Does any army fit this play style?

I have been on a binge of absolutely fantastic anime as of recently. I have been truly blown away by the goodness I have seen and it gives me soo much hope for future of anime.

I felt so let down so many times by the hype train and the prospect of a really good concept, that I had all but given up on the medium…
And then I found Vivy: Fluorites Eyes Song, and then Odd Taxi… and then Hells Paradise and then… Frieren… which was just a masterpiece. I just got done watching Talentless Nana and 86, which 86 was also a fucking masterpiece.
I want to keep the goodness flowing, and I feel so empowered by the anime I am consuming and I don’t want it to cease. So I ask you… would you please tell me what you feel is an absolute masterpiece, that fits my tastes as well.
Preferably:
Female MC
Little to no fan service
Psychological
Really well written (objective, I know)
Any genre is fine at all but I do prefer darker ones generally.
A few anime I really dislike to save the trouble:
Mushoku Tensei
Attack on Titan
Sword Art Online
Most things Shounen
Heavy fan service (though I can look past it with a really good story IE: Elfen Lied)
My favorite anime of all time:
When They Cry (Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni)
Frieren
Trigun
Perfect Blue
FMA/FMAB
Elfen Lied
Paranoia Agent
TLDR: Give me your masterpieces! Please and thank you! (But with little or not fan service)

I have been on a binge of absolutely fantastic anime as of recently. I have been truly blown away by the goodness I have seen and it gives me soo much hope for future of anime.
I took a long break for years because I felt that soo many animes resort to using sexiness as the selling point OR had such promising premises only for the writing to be abyssmal when looked at objectively.
