I have bought a new joyetech ego aio eco and it sounds like it is a gas powered ecig. When I draw air without firing the device everything is ok but when I press the button it starts soundibg like there is a gas engine inside. What could be the problem?

2021.11.19 01:33 imbangy Need some tips about starting

Hi, I’m not completely new into ecigs, I had a tfv8 with a 220w alien back in 2017, but sold it cause it was constantly leaking and I had no idea about what to do (didn’t knew reddit was a thing back then), so I went back to rolling tobacco. Now, 4 years later, I want to give ecigs another chance, I saw the ego aio, but some reviews are keeping me away from buying it, can you give me some tips about a good ecig, prefer the tubes one (I guess that’s how the model it’s called) like the iJust 2 or the ego aio, that are good with 50/50 liquids and that won’t leak? Thanks!

2020.08.13 14:38 Prestigious-Award894 Choosing the Right Type of Electronic Cigarette

Deciding on an electronic cigarette or vape for the very first time can be very daunting if you don't know somebody who uses a single, or have attempted one on your own.
On this page We'll be looking nearer:
In case you've not attempted an electronic cigarette, then you could think about beginning with a disposable for your very first time to have a sense of exactly what vaping tastes and feels like, only if it is not for you.
I've discovered it may mimic smoking very well, both in flavor and"smoke" or vapor creation, when you locate a great one.
You will find countless flavors that both possess the simple tobacco flavor and tastes which are more sweet or sour.
With the added bonus of having the ability to select your nicotine amounts, or no nicotine in any way, the chances are virtually unlimited!
I was able to utilize e-cigs as a means to push myself off the real smokes. It did not occur immediately, but that I was eventually able to place the actual cigs down nearly four decades back and it seems terrific.
Assuming you've had some restricted use having an e-cig, also supposing you are fairly certain that you will last vaping, you are going to want to begin looking at buying a Mango JUUL Pods. There are a number of great brands and kits on the market and a few that are a tiny sub-par.
Before we enter different brands, let us first consider the three key styles of digital cigarettes. Click here for advice on picking the ideal nicotine level.
The first type we're going to consider is your two-bit or cigarette mode of in .
This style is possibly the simplest to use and needs the least maintenance in general.
Charge the battery up, screw to a new suggestion (cartomizer) and pull away. That is it.
It is not tough to see why they're known as cigalikes, they closely resemble the standard cigarette.
A lot of individuals also refer to this kind of cigarette since"the first generation" since they were the very first design introduced.
For several decades, the cigalike 2-bit versions were all that was available and they still stay very dominant on the marketplace nowadays especially for people that are attempting to give up smoking.
The 2 pieces of the sort would be the battery as well as the cartomizer or capsule. As shown previously, with this particular variety, the atomizer is constructed into the disposable capsule that's why I refer to them as two-bit e-cigs (together with the self-design, the atomizer is another piece).
The cigalike cartridges normally arrive already full of e-liquid together with the nicotine amount of your selection.
Everything that you will need to do is keep the battery charged along with a packet of new cartridges handy and you are all set!
They're a breeze to work with and actually do feel like smoking a conventional cigarette. They're available with different colored luminous tips based on preference and brand.
For people searching for the solution using the smallest quantity of upkeep involved, I'd definitely recommend the pre-filled 2 bit e-cigs.
The kits themselves have become less and less costly and regardless of how you calculate it, it is pennies on the dollar when compared with the price of real smokes in more ways than you.
Each capsule generally reflects between 1.5-2 packs of classic cigarettes. They generally last between approximately 300-400 puffs.
One of my buddies has been utilizing this manner of ecig for approximately 3 decades now and swears by it.
She's attempted the ego style and she's tried a couple of my mods, but she only seems to favor the simplicity of usage and the reduced maintenance of the fee, twist, and proceed.
Traditionally, the refillable suggestions were fundamental blanks which you would fall 15 or 20 drops of e-liquid to that was a small challenge. Probably why many people just stuck into the pre-filled selection, it was simply simpler.
The miniature clearomizers supply you with the capacity to meet them with your liquid whilst still utilizing the conventional, cigarette fashion batteries.
I adore this new invention since it provides you all of the convenience and texture of both bit cigalike layout in addition to the capability to use your personal e-liquid and blends.
Cigalikes not just mimic the sensation of smoking quite nicely but they also feel nearest to a cigarette in mind and in your lips as you yank it.
Many men and women find the feel very calming especially on the first day or two. As you progress on your journey to becoming totally smoke-free, you might choose to move until the self or perhaps the modded kind e-cigs then.

2020.02.22 23:00 Bisebi Vape store employees. Please give me your worst clients storyes. And best as well.

I will start with mine A. The worst client I ever had was a lady in her 40s that came to the shop to get a coil for her ecig. Not having it with her. We (me and my coworker that shall be called Jim) spread out a whole counter of coils that fit her description for her "tank". Jim sorts through them one by one and after 20 minutes of helping customers on the side table that we installed for chilling she finally realised that the ego aio coil is the one she is looking for and we could clear the table. Now everything would be alright and well done but that was the first coil we showed her. Nevertheless, next day comes and it's just me in the shop waiting to close and go home.
The same lady, visibly irritated that we sold get the wrong thing and that instead she wanted a coil for a bvc tank. No problem, we can take it back if it's sealed and give you the right coil. Shouldn't be a problem after all. She gets the coil we sold her the day before and God damn it was filled with juice all over, kept in a plastic bag and drenched in pocket dirt. When I explained that that couldn't be taken back because it is technically used she immediately called the police because it's her right to get a refund. Me and Jim had to stay 3 hours after closing time with the owner and 2 police officers explaining to the lady how wrong she was and how she will never be allowed in the shop again. That lead to get going to court and losing even more money.
Now the best customer: A girl my age, finished med school, just got into vaping on a starter small mtl starter kit and always wanted to get something better and to learn how to build a coil and get better. At first she got a biger starter with included batteries, then got a rta, then everything went crazy when we got into an argument thingy and became best friends. Best friends to this day and after having a cloud chasing period we switched to pods and the stealthy life.

2020.02.12 05:15 Bidoofs_Toof Do I have slight tourettes or am I just angry? (Tics involved)

23M Height 6' 130lb Caucasian
So quick fill in: have had bad tics since around 4 or 5 possibly longer that's just when it really came out. Theg always come and go with time and largely I have learned to expidite their leaving by myself. OCD symptoms like crazy. I have never been diagnosed though because lack of ANY adequate mental healthcare in my current area (there's one counseling service in the county pretty much no psychiatrists or anything else). Definitely diagnosed with tics though. Anxiety depression and PTSD for 10yrs. Migraines (constantly, way more than is usual though their kinda hard to tell from the chronic tension headache). Take maxalt for the migraines when they get real bad and fioricet for the tension headache. Scoliosis and cervicalgia with some spurring which I blame the tension headaches on. Medical cannabis for every thing Former smoker now ecig
For these reasons I have been staying with my family. However staying with my family means we fight sometimes. Thing is I am noticing anger outbursts where I get "stuck". The stress of feeling a fight develop seems to immediately bring on the migraine and tension headache. When that happenes things can get pretty bad. I enter this "pain state" where the pain consumes me. When this happenes I get so insanely frustrated because I cant express what I want to, these people are yelling at ME, and I have a meltdown. Things to say arrive in my head almost like compulsions, and it's almost RELIEVING to say these things I know will hurt the people I'm arguing with.
But I cant tell if this is simply my ego/painbody/adrenaline or if it enters the realm of being from my preexisting tics or undiagnosed tourettes. I feel so weird and bad during the attack and I feel so different and frankly horrified afterwords. Is there anything I can do to prevent it in the short term or be more aware of? I 100% do not believe i am a physical harm to others I have never wanted to actually cause physical harm or scare anyone into thinking I want to, but damn it feels like this part of me just cranks up the foul-mouthed meter to 100 all of a sudden. But is tourettes actually associated with a negative feeling? This seems to be mainly stress related.
Edit: I remembered something. When I'm in this "stuck" place I really am pretty gone because whatever the goal was I was trying to achieve I act during the phase in a way that's completely counterproductive to it. Today I was upset because my parents were acting in ways that I felt were going to sabotage our efforts towards a goal today, however if I hadn't lost it so bad they still would have tried to hold of their end of the agreement, so in the end I myself sabotaged it. Completely illogical and like now I can see and feel that.

2019.10.25 22:04 savudanny872 Anxious new user. EGO AIO problems.

Hi, Im a new user to ecigs. Ive got a couple of problems with my ego aio. 1. I get a bubling sound of sorts. Someone told me that thats because of a flooded coil. He said i should hold the fire button pressed a little longer before actually starting to inhale. He said that should do the work and that in a couple of days i shouldnt hear that sound anymore. Im scared that i could damage the coil even more if i do that. And problem number 2 is that im scared of charging the ecig while its sideways. Is that important? Should it be standing up while charging? Could that be the reason my coil is getting flooded? Thank you in advance! P.S.: I actually want to know how healthy it is for the ecig to stand sideways on the day-to-day basis. Like idk, my pocket while im sitting, or maybe just standing on the table. You get me.

2019.09.21 23:08 pearlheartgtr Helped my friend's mom switch

About 12 years ago, I started vaping to cut the cost of cigarettes. Funny thing, 3 days later, with my crappy NJoy ecig (you know, the ones that looked like a cigarette but tasted like a nutty ashtray), I was off cigarettes. It was not my intention to quit, lol.
Fast forward about two years later, my best friend's mom was diagnosed with Emphysema. She was on her way to walking around with an O2 tank in a few months. She smoked a couple of packs a day and tried quitting with gums, patches, and Chantix. Nothing worked.
Finally, my friend was able to talk her into trying vaping. I came over with my kit and walked her through the basics. We ordered a Riva (Ego) kit with CE2 carts and we were off! We picked out some flavors from Madvapes and the wait was on for the goodies to arrive.
She loved it! She had a blast going onto Madvapes, picking out and trying new flavors. Every so often, I'd get an emergency call at night, "Mom needs a cartomizer! Her last one died and she's still waiting for new ones." I was more than happy to run out in the middle of the night with some CE2's in hand.
Oh, I almost forgot. About 2-3 months after she started vaping, she had a chest x-ray done. Her doctor couldn't believe that her lungs were clearing up!
Over the year, she tapered the nic level to zero. Another six months, and she put down the vape once and for all. She didn't need anything anymore. Her lungs are clear and she's not hacking all the time.
To this day, my friend tells everyone we hang out with that I saved her mother's life. Her mother saved her own life by making the decision to take a chance on vaping. I'm just happy I was able to help guide her.

2019.01.30 22:13 rouyal Former ecig user recommendations

I used to vape during the beginning days when ecigs started getting popular (back when the 510 atomizer was kind of the defacto) up to around the time Joyetech released the Ego T & C. Then came back for a little and got the Joyetech Ego One 1100mah. Still have two in black and silver, charged them up last night from sitting in the closet for a few years.
So, I’ve been out of the loop, and to say theres a lot more options would be an understatement. I’m a Joyetech fanboy and even they have overwhelming options now. I don’t even recognize or know much about other brands now.
I guess Id like to get something similar size to my Ego One. I liked how they performed, and they still work, but rebuilding those tiny atomizers got annoying. I still have plenty nichrome and cotton.
Here’s somethings Id like in a new ecig: -similar form factor and size as the Ego -comes with a rebuildable tank -reliable (ie button won’t quit after a month) -if not a rebuildable tank, something I can buy bulk prebuilt coils for a good price -mouth to lung draw
Never got into variable voltage or low ohm coils, if that matters. I always liked the simpler ecigs.
What are some popular options?
Thanks for the help

2019.01.21 23:23 Niikopol Replacement for eGo AIO D22 XL

Hi,
so I used to have eGo AIO D22 XL ecig, but because I am stupid I broke it. Probably story you heard quite a few times. And I did not know that you cannot replace the glass container. So, it is dead.
I was wondering, can anyone recommend replacement eCig where I dont have to worry about non-replacable container part in cca same price range? I had 2300mAh one and vaped Barley Red at air filter set somewhere around 50 percent, if it is relevant at all.
Thanks

2019.01.20 01:51 ggghost69 Smok Vape pen 22 eliquid questions

I just upgraded from an ego-t ecig into a Vape22 because they told me that it was a good unit for me wanting to be able to taste more flavorful liquids (nicotine free) which is my top priority when vaping I'm now wondering which eliquid brands would the best for this purpose having price in mind and would be great if you know if they are accessible in Mexico ( would prefer to no deal with importing stuff unless they are really experienced in shipping to Mexico and preferentially a brand that has small presentations as well, 50-30ml).

2018.12.16 04:52 bourbonboots Sub ohm DTL for 50/50?

I'll keep this as succinct as possible.
I've used eGo AIO for a few years now and I'm finally tired of the restricted airflow and replacing pricey coils every couple of days.
-Tried Aspire Breeze 2 but the airflow is too restricted. -Tried Vaporesso Cascade One but it leaked my 50/50 juice constantly (but goddamn if it didn't provide good hits when it wasn't leaking my costly eliquid all over the place)
From my research here and on ECF it looks like I'm looking for a pen-syle sub-ohm setup that won't leak 50/50. AIO is fine if that exists; the simpler the better. I'm reaching out to the community because I'm tired of wasting money on all these things. I've been on ecigs for almost 10 years now and hopefully I can get one last dependable device that I can use before I get off nicotine forever.
Thank you for your insights.

2018.11.11 04:48 xelmstlastbratx Previous smokers, need advise.

Backstory:
So, I had to quit smoking for a surgery I have coming up, I went 5 days cold turkey, and my anxiety showed up full force. I work in management for a retail chain, and social is a job skill. Prior to quitting smoking, I suppressed a lot of it, but, once I quit, all my nervous habit came out, I can't sleep well, etc. So, I spoke with the doctor doing the surgery and he suggested ecigs or vaping, with a low dose of nicotine. I have a vuse vibe, which is ok, but I tried a friend's vape and I think I am in love.
So, my question is, where do I start? We use to have a vape shop in town but, it's shut down. I was looking at the Joyetech eGo AIO, it price is pretty good and it seems to be very beginner friendly, however, I'm open to other opinions that won't break the bank.

2018.10.19 12:07 HyperionMoon Autofire with the Aegis Legend

Hello ecig community.
I have a bit of a problem. I've had the Geekvape Aegis Legend for about 2 months now and except for the early battery drain that was fixed by the firmware update I haven't had any issues with it. That is until this week.
I have been using the usb port of the Legend to charge my batteries because it is much easier then to plug them into a battery dock every time they are empty plus I have only one pair of batteries. They are Sony VTC5A's if anyone is curious.
My problem is this. Last week I went to plug the vape to my laptop for charging but when I put in the USB cable it started to autofire and wouldn't stop until I pulled out the cable, tried to turn it off first didn't work. No issues after that. Now not even 10 minutes ago it happened again except now it continued when I pulled it out and only stopped when I turned it off.
My question is is this thing safe to use anymore? What if it happens when it's in my bag and starting to autofire when charging with a powerbank. Is it a firehazard? Do I just leave it to chill for awhile or don't use the USB charging anymore?
I don't want to use it anymore and went back to my ego but it sucks to vape on it compared to my digiflavour.
Any tips in this situation appreciated.

2018.09.22 08:38 jackfairy80 Throw back gear! I showed my hand, you show yours!

Lately there seems to be a lot about old gear and some fun convos about " the good old days" so I thought I might throw up my own! This a small cross section of some of things I've kept over the years! http://imgur.com/a/CTW9bCl
Just a quick history, I've been vaping for I'm guessing close to 7 years now. I'm at a little over 6 years since the last time I had a cancer stick! I've seen it all for the most part. I learned about ecigs when they were in their infancy but it took me little while to finally jump on board and make the switch.
The only thing missing from my line up are the million different kinds of cigalikes I had before I discovered the ego.
On to the fun part! Let's see if I can remember the actual names of all this madness!
Left to right, back row:
Ego with a Vivi Nova (top coil)
Vamo v2 with an AGA all SS Genny tank
Imr and Panasonic 18650s
EHPRO Changeling Clone with an IGO-W (holes drilled)
Brass Sentinel M16 Clone with an Enigma
Copper Vanilla clone with magnets and TOBH
Down front:
Omega RDA
IGO-L (2 of them, these were my first RDAs)
Another Vivi Nova
Another AGA SS
RSST Genny tank
A collection of 510 drip tips (mostly mtl)
A couple of blue screw drivers because why not!
Far right is my current rig, Smoant Battlestar with an Intake RTA
We've come a long way guys and Dolls! I've had a lot of other gear in between all of this but most of it I sold or vaped forward as I upgraded, or it bricked.
Just a side note on the clones because I know there are still some haters out there. I was a poor guy with a small kid so my vape budget was small to say the least. Fasttech was a God send. Also, both the M16 and copper vanilla clones made improvement over the originals and both perform better. Sometimes clones get it right! The changeling I actually won on ECR, it's decent but has hot button issues now and again. The other 2 though I'll never get rid of. They are dirty and tarnished but a quick cleaning and they hit as hard as the day I got them. You can never go wrong with a couple of mech backups and they've come in handy more than a few times.
So what about all of you? What's your vape story? Throw up some pics of things you still have laying around because you're a vape Horder and you just love them!
Side note ...... Apparently I'm gross, literally every one of these has a build in it, complete with wicks.....I had no idea, some of these haven't been touched in 5+ years! I guess I get to excited when I get new stuff and just end up throwing the old stuff in the vape dungeon and forgetting about it!
Alright old timers, let's have some nostalgic fun!

2018.07.21 05:39 christinavapes I wanna know what your first vapes were in detail, so like...

I got my first Ecig in 2013 and it was a Ego Battery with the disposable clear cartomizers and some Space Jam flavor I don’t remember the name of to be honest. I didn’t touch it for about a year and then in Oct. 2014 I was cleaning our house and found it and decided to try again. The juice tasted great even though it was 10 months(ish) old! It didn’t help me quit smoking though, I then bought a Haus Disposable from walgreen and some cheap o haus eliquid as well... also didn’t help. Then I went to my first vape shop and bought premium eliquid... that helped me cut down a lot but it wasn’t until a couple days after my birthday when my sister took me to the vape shop and bought me an Aspire Cf Sub battery and the Aspire Atlantis tank! I quit smoking that day and never looked back!
My first box mod was the Kangettech K Box My first RDA was the Dark Horse I don’t remember what my first mech was but I think Ehpro made it lol
Tell me your stories!

2018.07.18 16:21 notalltogetherhere Looking For A Recommendation! Under $50?

Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to Ecigs and vaping. I'm a pretty light cigarette smoker, but pretty heavy hookah smoker. I first bought an ego, then purchased an ego twist. Neither one holds a charge very long or produces much smoke. Can anyone give me a recommendation? I'm looking for something under $50.
Let me know if there's any questions or other info I can give! Thanks!

2018.05.09 16:52 R_U_O_K Today is my 2 year quit-versary after a lifetime of smoking

I smoked for over 20 years and was smoking a pack and a half a day in 2016. I have panic disorder with agoraphobia (severe anxiety disorder that keeps me housebound for days/months and constantly afraid of pretty much everything) and was legitimately afraid to quit smoking because:
I repeated the "What If..." mantra for 3 years while I was a subscriber to this sub, even going so far as to order a starter kit (2 generic ego batteries, 2 evods, and a small bottle of tobacco juice) but always too afraid to try it and make any real effort. But then I got hospitalized for a couple of days. When the familiar, easy option was completely taken from me and illness and IV's kept me from escaping the 3rd floor of the hospital to find a spot to smoke an analog, I finally tried ecigs with some conviction.
Here I am now 2 years later, a non-smoker thanks to:
I didn't become a hobby vaper. After 20+ years of heavy smoking, I went from 12 to 6 to 3 nic in 2 months time (after the first 2 weeks of switching to ecig, which did require fortitude, decreasing was effortless), then I found that I started forgetting to vape, forgetting to keep the AIO in my pocket, then I just shrugged and realized 'I guess I'm done'. I was honestly surprised, I thought I'd be up to my neck in rda's, box mods and coil wire to keep me satisfied as I outgrew the starter kit, but I just set it down instead.
I still keep my Joyetech AIO cleaned and on standby with two new coils and a few bottles of (expired I'm sure) low nic juice as a precaution, but the only time I think about filling it back up is when I get down on myself about the weight I gained when I quit subsisting on cigarettes, wondering if it might be worth a bit of low level nic addiction to stop snacking on sweets and crunchy things. I never realized how much food I replaced with tobacco until I started craving snacks like mad.
Alright I've rambled on and on, I just still can't believe I'm a non-smoker, and I'm so thankful to have found this sub. I certainly wish I'd gathered my courage 5 years ago instead of 2, but you know how the saying goes, the next best time to plant a tree is now.

2018.03.16 05:38 fsa412 Mod+tank advice please for a semi-noob

I used to use an eGo twist with a Kanger ProTank, which packed in last year and sadly I went back to analogues. Before the eGo twist I tried a couple of cartomiser and clearomiser based pens with a 510 battery. Even before that was the Innokin AIO PCC and another similar one which came with cartridges.
I'd like to go back to vaping and cutting down on analogues and am looking for a durable and cost effective option. I'm currently on two packs a week.
I prefer MTL over DTL, but the market seems to be full of these sub ohm devices which make lots of cloud. I'd much prefer a harder draw with a decent throat hit, but am unsure which tank would satisfy. I found the Kanger reasonable, but had to screw it on quite tightly to reduce the external air inflow and get a stronger hit. The tank was a little leaky too, but much easier to fill compared to the cartridges so I tolerated it.
The variable voltage on the twist was quite handy but battery life was frustrating, so I am considering one of those dual 18650 mods with some decent Sony batteries in. I almost fell for the hype of Smok's products, but then came across all the QC issues mentioned all over various ecig subs. I'd rather just renew coils and batteries every few months instead of a whole unit.
I'm happy to outlay up to $150 for a kit so long as it is expected to last a good while. Which mods and tanks should I consider?
