I know this is unpopular but I actually can’t stand Eloise. Not only is her character self righteous but her whole storyline last season came off to me as basically festishizing the struggle. She was all up there with Theo acting like she was doing something so noble but she has all the privilege and isn’t exactly relinquishing it. Beyond that she was always grouping herself and Penelope in as spinsters without ever taking in consideration of Penelope even wanted that and when she didn’t Eloise acted like Penelope was committing some grave sin once again forgetting that she has the privilege of being a Bridgerton that everyone wants while Penelope is an outcast, not by choice. Eloise does it because she gets some sort of high from being “different.” Those arent big things but her befriending Cressida knowing how cruel she’s been to Penelope, even continuing when Cressida ripped her dress, idc that Cressida is “misunderstood.” I just really don’t find Eloise enjoyable and I’m so tired of her wearing the same looking dress. I promise you I wouldn’t be able to tell you her dresses apart. That’s small but just thought I’d throw that in there lol I just don’t like her as a character at all and when it is her season I can’t imagine being interested at all. Plus no disrespect to Claudia but she looks obviously older than the age Eloise is supposed to be playing.

I stayed up a little to watch Bridgerton and was so confused when I heard a sound of broken glass during Penelope’s entrance. Like was it so shocking someone dropped the cup?! Why no reaction?
During the show my husband went up to bed with his kindle, rolled his eyes a bit and asked if I was SURE I wanted to stay up. We’re in our 40’s—it was 10 PM and that is “late” per my husband. My episode ended 30 minutes later and my cats were going crazy in the basement.
Turns out one cat had knocked over a glass jar my husband left on a shelf. My senior cat has lived 8+ lives and knows broken glass = bad so he was going off like an alarm bell (he didn’t step on it, I checked, and he calmed down as soon as it was cleaned it up).
The problem is by the time I saw the glass I was in the middle of the basement, surrounded by broken glass, and while I’d made it to where I was standing unscathed it’s not a very well lit basement. So I used Alexa to call my husband and let him know I was surrounded by broken glass.
That was 10:30 PM. It’s now an hour and 20 minutes later. I woke my husband (didn’t know he was asleep but I should have since he prefers an early bedtime) and he cannot let go of the fact that I should have just tip toed out of the basement and got a broom. He’s sighed at me like a dozen times and is so frustrated at how needy I am.

And what age do girls usually “debut”? I always imagined they debut around 18, so Penelope wouldn’t be that old even if she waited extra years to debut. They frequently describe her as a spinster, but Kate always came off as older and no one ever called her that. If anyone has a general idea (for all the characters) I’d appreciate it!!

Hola gente que tal? hoy lamentablemente y con mucho dolor me toca publicar mi tan querido A3 por motivos personales, no lo uso lo que me gustaría, entre 1000-2000kms por año y la verdad estoy necesitando la plata para otras cosas. Es por lejos el mejor auto que he tenido y si pudiera me lo quedara pero bueno, si se va a ir por lo menos me alegraria un poco si lo toma alguien de este sub y no un random cualquiera.
Los que me conocen saben que realmente lo cuido y no me gusta escucharle NADA raro mecánicamente, asi que lo he ido cuidado bastante desde que lo tuve, creo que se nota un poco lo meticuloso que soy con las fotos. Se le ha puesto mucho cariño mecánicamente hablando y se que no hay NINGUNO con un motor en tan buen estado publicado en otro lugar. Podría quedarme diciendo mil cosas por que lo elegiría nuevamente si tuviese que comprar otro auto, pero no puedo hacer el comentario tan largo (y menos los quiero aburrir). Asi que paso a detallar todo lo que tiene.

Arranco con 15 mil usd. Si no se vende en las siguientes semanas lo iré bajando, el precio lo decide el mercado. Tomo permuta, veo cualquier cosa que esté en buen estado mecanicamente. Se va transferido si o si.
Lo muestro en la costanera de Vte Lopez. Coordinamos un día y se ve sin compromiso.
Detalles que tiene:

• Estéticamente tiene mas de un rayón fuerte, mas que nada porque la gente no sabe estacionar y toca el auto por deporte. Encima la semana pasada un camion hdp pasó y rayó con todo el paragolpe trasero del lado del conductor, hasta rompió un poco, obviamente ni un papelito de contacto dejó. Todo está mas o menos maquillado con pintura retok y quedó mas o menos bien, pero bueno, si se ponen meticulosos está para meter una pintada. Vean bien las fotos y metan zoom.
• El guarbarros frontal lado copiloto está repintado.

Aclaraciones:

• Tiene alfombras originales de tela y un juego de alfombras extra del concesionario de Audi
• En la foto se me olvidó colocarlo, pero tengo el encendedor original del auto, el cargador del télefono se va conmigo :p
• Soy 100% transparente con el auto, no lo pienso maquillar lavandole el motor, metiendo un acrilico o comprandole las 4 cubiertas nuevas. TODO se ve en las fotos.
• Puse las marcas en el excel porque considero que es importante saber que no se le metieron repuestos falopa. Como dato de color, Febi es productor de los repuestos originales de Audi, comprar Febi es comprar original solo que sin el logo, lo pueden chequear donde quieran.
• Si bien el auto está chipeado, NO lo usé para pistear, por algo no tiene escape ni el filtro cónico ni esas cosas. Tampoco te voy a mentir obviamente que una que otra vez lo pisé y me divertí, pero muuy tranqui siempre, cuido mas el estado del motor que otra cosa. No miento si digo que jamás tuve huevos de llevarlo al corte.
• Segunda llave sin usar, auxilio sin rodar.
• Todos los papeles, patente y multas al día. VTV vigente hasta Oct. 2024
• El auto funciona tanto con super como con premium, está en el manual y en la tapa del tanque. Muuy raras veces cargué super, pero el 90% de las veces fueron y son con v-power de una shell que siempre está bien prolija.
• Esto NO es un problema pero igual lo aclaro: El turbo tiene la varilla del wastegate/caracola vibrando, eso hace un ruido metálico al desacelerar. Es 100% normal y le ocurre a muchisimos A3 de estos años, se puede googlear como "Audi wastegate rattle". No afecta en nada y no se soluciona mas que cambiando el turbo (o poniendo un clip choto que vende Audi y te dura 10 mil kms nomas). Como a mi no me jode, lo dejé así.

Regalos con la compra solo para la gente de este sub:

• El auto está asegurado todo riesgo en federación patronal. Obviamente no puedo prometer nada, pero podría hablar con el productor y ver si se puede transferir la titularidad del seguro si te interesa. Hoy en día nadie te da todo riesgo por uno de estos.
• Me sobraron unos repuestos que regalo (como el vaso de expansión y la tapa original que reemplacé, lo cambié porque pensaba que estaba malo y nada que ver).
• Pintura retok por si algun otro gil te toca el auto estacionando (si, los odio).
• Llavero facherito con el logo de Audi.
• Un poco de aceite y líquido refrigerante G12++ que nunca está de más tener.
• Manuales de taller y un par de cositas mas online que tengo.

Me anticipo a preguntas y comentarios:

• Che por qué tan caro? he visto mas baratos en mercadolibre - Buena suerte comprando un audi barato detonado, dejame adivinar "service recien hecho, nada por hacerle"? Sumale fotos en un detailer y chip stage 2 con escape, que dios te cuide.

I've been into DnD for years and years, listening to DnD podcasts and playing every other week with a group for 1,5 years now. And since several of my colleagues are geeks like me but had never had the chance to play I offered to DM for them. I had a couple of weeks of sick leave, so plenty of time to plan something special. Why I chose IKEA as the battleground: because I like to troll my friends. Also, again, they had never played before and I thought it would make it easier to improvise if they were familiar with the surroundings.
I think it was a pretty basic labyrinth setup; mimics in the living room department, spiders in the beds, goblins in the wardrobes... I even nicked one of the 'find the alien' floor plans they give kids at the ball pit for reference. But of course I sprinkled plenty of IKEA references throughout.
I started the session saying it was a late evening after a sunday opening (we were playing on a sunday), and everyone present was still working when bam! blackout. When the lights came back on, all the customers still present were gone, but there was some furniture oddly carrying the same name where they once were. I made Ingvar (the founder of IKEA) appear Tom Bombadil-style (I mean, he's yellow and blue all over anyway) and explain that there were some bad angry customer vibes. Apparently this happens every now and again in IKEAs all over the world, and that after meeting Gary Gygax in the great beyond he'd come up with a system of eliminating this evil force by turning the IKEA in question in a temporary dungeon, turning all the customers temporarily into furniture and the evil energy into monsters that could safely (ahem) be dealt with.
My players were allowed any improvised weapons they could find. Pencils for darts were along the line I was thinking, but one of them collected every fire extinguisher he could get his hands on, and another rolled exceptionally well and got herself a nail gun. I also lifted the phone system from the podcast Dungeons and Daddies where they had to roll if they wanted to use them.
Many shenanigans were had. Mostly because I thought I had considered every short cut and secret passage known to IKEA workers - except for that VERY important one behind the showcase for the solar panels that heads straight down to the lower level of course.
At the cafetaria they could have a short rest, but to get there they had to answer three IKEA trivia questions from Geralt of Trivia (DaDaddies is a very good podcast okay). Once answered, they could get drinks with a variety of effects and get some more information where this evil energy originated from (customer service, duh).
Market hall was overgrown with evil vines. The floor was SNURRAD (tik-tok-hyped lazy susan for in your fridge) in a hall in the self service area, but if they conquered it they got themselves a fork lift.
After the cashline, at customer service, they got their first hint of what their goal was: one computer was still working, showing info on an item that has not been sold in many years: the DUVBO kitchen doors.
True story: this line was discontinued because of the bad quality. Guess which store they forgot to inform at the time? Ours. When did this happen? Right when they changed from FAKTUM kitchens to METOD kitchens. So anyone returning their doors not only needed a different kind of doors, but an entirely different kind of kitchen, because the new cabinets came in different sizes. This cost our store a LOT of money. Eldritch nightmare item: check. What did our companions find on the computer screen? That there was still one in the system in the depot.
Down to the lower levels they went. I nicked a puzzle straight out of Tomb of Horrors especially for them (relax - it only teleported them right back to the start) and had one of my player's girlfriend who also works at our store save them batman-style from a couple of rogue dishwashers. After retrieving the door from the shuttle and destroying it they heard a terrible scream coming from the customer service area above them - my magnum opus. My final boss. Penelope - aka the angry Karen.
Well, until my sorcerer rolled a critical succes on his charisma roll and calmed her down with a free coffee voucher.
Can't have it all I suppose. If only this worked in real life.
Anyway, it was a very fun night and I'm kinda sad I didn't record it because it was one-of-a-kind, but at least we had fun and now I find myself with a DnD group and apparently I just am a DM now.

I`ve been somewhat lurking on here for the past few days,commenting,seeing how people are feeling and what they`re thinking. Finally,I`ve wanted to share my thoughts on our leading couple this season,as a writer who`s really in her zone writing character analyses and has minored in British Literature. This post might be a bit long.
So I got the idea for this post after seeing so many of your wonderful opinions,since I did notice a common thread in a fair number of posts regarding the romance of this half season and,more specifically,Penelope and Colin themselves. That being: Their romance felt rushed and Colin`s characterisation came across as inconsistent/nonexistent plus Luke Newton didn`t help matters. As someone who`s enjoyed period dramas as it pertains to similar material since I was basically a child,this half season reminded me of those dramas moreso than any other season thus far. And it might just be because of these two observations,and I`d like to challenge them. Let me explain.
Firstly, I do not think Colin`s personality has been botched nor does he lack one. I`d rather say he`s just not the leading man many came to expect from Bridgerton. In fact,I think that is ever so incorporated into his struggles this year. Colin Bridgerton is the third son of the household. Not having to lead it,yet possessing that need for approval with no one to give it to him,he`s been aimless,that`s more than obvious. He is emotionally intelligent (the second one after Daphne to notice the attraction brewing between Kate and Anthony,sending her ball and having them alone),a people pleaser(always bringing his family gifts,asking if anyone needs anything,always being by Violet`s side,as she astutely points out this season). However,that backfired when he went through what he went through with Marina. He`s sensitive,words of the Ton CAN influence him,as he admits it himself. With that cocktail and his previous endeavours(even when he wanted to make something of himself on his own terms and finally gain some autonomy,proving to himself he`s just as worthy,that deal falls through),thinking that he needs to follow his brothers` example and become somewhat of a rake is rather logical. Nothing he does works,but his brothers are succeeding. His winks,brothel scenes etc. were lacking in confidence exactly because he`s putting up a front. It`s what he`s practiced and he`s just mouthing off. This is where Luke Newton`s ability shines,as you can see him doubting himself in the midst of giving bland,but charming compliments to eligible ladies on his first outing since coming back. He`s satisfying everyone but himself. Donning on a mask molded by the other men in his family. But he`s insecure and that mask shakes. He doesn`t fit this snug mold the show set out and he`s spilling out. He`s even insecure about his writing,something he genuinely enjoys. He`s not fuelled by trauma like Anthony and Simon,but by the fear of not measuring up,not being good enough. A jilted hopeless romantic yearning for attention,instead of a brooding smooth lead. And I love it. He`s funny,sweet,kind,emotionally intelligent,caring but also insecure,eager to please,running away from his problems and can be ponderous to a fault. That is where we come to his connection with Penelope.
Secondly, this idea of their romance being rushed. While I DO wish more time was given to them,what they gave us until now I can dissect with gusto. He`s subconsciously attracted to Penelope(even before Season 3) because she ponders,is introspective and on the outskirts like he is. I don`t know if it`s due to my education,but many instances of them communicating are not proper,nor well received by polite society of the time(since Season 1). The gloveless hand holding,him touching her forearm,the jokes they make,how much time they spend together,being on the first name basis. They`re comfortable with each other. One of my favorite interactions between them has to be when they talk about purpose in Season 2. In that moment,it is clear that something shifts in Colin as he looks down,smiling,his eyes going back to Pen,while she`s talking passionately about what she wants. Admiration,understanding as he sees her as something more. But he makes a blunder once again,not willing to see beyond his own insecurities. Another chance wasted. And we come to Season 3.
And both of them grow so much as characters. A bit older,but a lot more intricate. And in only 4 episodes,Colin becomes probably the most proactive leading man we`ve had,as he lunges head first,with no restraints. He`s not resistant to Violet`s advice,in fact,he welcomes it. He`s insecure but when it comes to Penelope,he`s freed from his shackles. Their story is about being free,satisfied with yourself,open to love and being loved. And,as an adult,it is so romantic. His true,romantic persona re-emerges in that carriage. Overcoming the voices in your head telling you you can`t. Being vulnerable with someone you feel will accept your pathetic side. It`s such a relatable conflict to explore. No need for love confessions for the centuries. With just a few looks you come to the same conclusion. It is glorious.

The first flurries of snowflakes began to fall at Westbridge at about 0440 in the morning, seen only by the late night/early morning sentries. By the time the next watch came to relieve them at 0600, they were already halfway up to their knees in snow. By 0800 the watch had been moved indoors due to the hazardous conditions. “The blizzard is in full effect now, ma’am,” reported an adjutant to Major Emily Potts. “Very well, thank you,” Potts replied, signing the new plan of the day. Until further notice, there was to be no outdoor physical activity beyond that which was absolutely operationally necessary. PT was cancelled, including the newly-introduced swimming exercises that the boat crew personnel had been leading, and all sentries were moved indoors, standing watch in the corners of buildings overlooking the barriers that had been pushed across the gates. Transit through the town was exclusively by truck, Taurox, or Chimera now, and the motor pool was kept busy trying to keep the heaters running. The Newcastle was tied to the pier with doubled-up lines and the crew had walked out the anchor underfoot, just in case the lines didn’t hold her, while all the small motor boats they could find had been covered with heavy tarps to protect them. “Not quite the course of events I think any of us were expecting,” Potts commented to Commissar Lion as she walked back into the command center from her office. “But I suppose the weather is keeping us all on our toes once again.”

A communique arrived from Colonel Braithwaite, text only, likely due to the scrambling effects of the heavy storm, which read:

Everyone, from enlisted to officer, well-behaved or troublemaker alike, was now stuck in barracks, waiting out the storm. This meant that Beaumont and her valet were going to be waiting in close quarters for some time with the Praetorian officers of Uniform Company, sharing what had once been a small family home (before the family had either evacuated, relocated, or been lost in the fighting) and was now an improvised condo for officers. Muller was doing paperwork of some kind, having largely left her platoon lieutenants to go about their own business. One of her roommates, who was currently ironing her extra uniform (probably the only other one she had), looked over to talk to Elodie. “I’m sorry, I don’t think we got to meet earlier,” she said politely. “I’m Beatrice Williams. My troops and I came back from the fight at the crossing to bring back the wounded. What’s your name?” She was maybe twenty or so, clearly fresh out of the schola, with curly blonde hair and bright cornflower blue eyes, and she clearly had no idea about the age-old strife between Praetoria and Saunoit.

Meanwhile, partway down the road to Waycross, the 27^th were digging in, building shelters and dugouts at the direction of the regiment’s veteran cold weather soldier, Commissar Jensen. The vehicles of the regiment were parked in tight patterns to block the wind, idling their engines occasionally to keep the fuel lines from freezing and cracking. With snow already falling heavily, the sentries heard a roar of engines as a Chimera at max speed careened toward the camp, narrowly avoiding the heaviest of the blizzard. Lieutenant Lenore McPherson wrapped her scarf tighter around her face as she staggered out of the back of the vehicle and into the comparative warmth of the command dugout, which was rapidly being surrounded by white snowbanks. “Colonel,” she reported with a salute. “The group I took to Waycross is back. Nothing further to pass, my last message to the colonel before the Ork attack was that we’d be in touch once the snow cleared.” “Thank you, Lieutenant. Go get warmed up,” Braithwaite ordered with a nod.
Once the blizzard conditions calmed down a little, the regiment could finally take stock of their new position. They hadn’t taken too many equipment or personnel casualties, though they had a few dozen cases of frostbite. Less than ten of those turned out to be fatal exposure, mainly unlucky sentries who hadn’t prepared for the weather until they found themselves going pale and no longer shivering. The bad news, though, was how heavily they were snowed in. The encampment was almost totally buried in several feet of snowdrifts, and so was any trace of their path – meaning that it would take them likely a day or more just to dig themselves out, and their passage would be greatly slowed. And as the first Chimera mounted a dozer blade and began to plow a path through the center of the camp, Merina Saxton finished copying out her poem once again, folding it carefully and leaving it out where one of her squadmates would find it. She hadn’t expected “Jennie” to be such a hit – in happier times, she’d have gotten it published in the paper and maybe return to that writing career she’d always dreamed of. That was, of course, impossible now. But a little press never hurt anyone…

Quick disclaimer: I read all the books years before S1 and Colin and Penelope's story has been my favorite. And still is. So I went into the season with high expectations. And I think I see some of them mirrored in some the feedback on the first four episodes. I wanted Pen to shine and show the ton how amazing she really is. And ideally make them - and Colin - see how wrong they were about her. Grovel a bit. I wanted to see Pen use her wit to defend herself in person instead of channeling all of it into LW. And I wanted Colin to grovel a bit, tbh.That perfect girlboss moment that shows them all.
And after having watched the first four episodes, I can say I'm glad I didn't get my wish. Because looking back on it, it seems petty and unrealistic to me now.
I’ve seen some recurring criticisms about Pen not shining enough in her own season and about Colin coming off as annoying and “not himself”. And those are the two points I’d like to address. In some kind of quick character analysis.
Pen just doesn’t shine
Pen changes her wardrobe and tries to be braver but she’s still the outcast. She’s still at the whim of the ton. Bullied by Cressida, overlooked by the men, made fun of when her deal with Colin is revealed. Her costumes don’t stand out from the crowd like Kate and Edwina did with their lilacs and pink last season. Those are some of the points I’ve seen raised.
But I think that is exactly the point. Pen’s story is that of an outcast trying to find her place in society. Someone who is simultaneously very interested in participating but gets rebuffed at every turn. It’s a statement about bullying. Bullying is arbitrary. Society picks on someone who stands out. Some people stand out and are applauded for it and others are punished for it. It is completely unfair and unjust. And the victim is not at fault. If Penelope could change her clothes and magically turn into a confident person who gets the attention and love they deserved all along, what kind of message would that send? “Change yourself and people will stop picking on you”. But that’s not how it works. When people have chosen a victim, it’s not in the victim’s power nor is it their responsibility to change themselves to fit in. Because their circumstances are not the result of their own actions but because they were singled out for unfair and arbitrary reasons. The fault is with everyone who picked on Penelope. Not on how she reacted after she was treated this cruelly or on how she looks.
Imo, this point plays beautifully into the Polin romance plot. The writers have avoided one of the biggest pitfalls of the friends to lovers trope. Colin never remarks on Pen’s changed looks - apart from once mentioning her “fetching” gown and how green suits her. That’s a completely valid and tasteful compliment to make. Exactly how people should compliment others’ appearance if they want to raise their spirits while avoiding any unintentional backhanded compliments. Not once does he say or think “Wow, I didn’t realize how beautiful Pen actually is.” There’s no “Pen takes her glasses off and suddenly she’s hot” moment. No one but Colin sees her in a new light. And he does so not because of her looks but because of how she makes him feel and how he feels about himself when she’s around (see part two of my analysis). To society, Pen is still a wallflower. Still an outcast. Her change is internal. While no one but Colin pays much attention to her, she is shifting her outlook and getting closer to finding closure and her own place within society. And the beautiful thing is: She has (almost completely) given up her hope of Colin reciprocating her feelings but he is still raising her confidence and giving her the courage to go after what she wants. One scene is symbolic for this: When Cressida beats Pen to the chase with Debling, Pen stands awkwardly in the middle of the ballroom while Colin is once again swarmed by admirers. They lock eyes and he gives his speech about courage that is clearly secretly aimed at Pen. He gives her the courage to try again with Debling. While he’s already in love with her and while she is very aware of how she would prefer Colin but seems to have to settle for a practical match. Both don’t want this to happen but they encourage each other anyway. This mirrors how Pen reacted when Colin told her of his hopes for Marina in season 1. Both put their friend before their own wants and bring out the best in each other. So in short: I don’t think the season is aiming to give us the maybe satisfying but unrealistic narrative of Pen showing everyone who’s boss and making them grovel. I’d say it’s about Pen and Colin learning to say “fuck it, I don’t care what they think of me. I’m not going to change who I am for people who don’t care about me and who do not deserve my attention.” Even Colin doesn’t have to see “the new Pen” because he already liked the old version of her. She doesn’t become irresistible to him because she changed. She became irresistible because he changed his mindset.
Which brings me to: The new Colin is so annoying!
Why is Colin suddenly a rake who visits brothels? Why is he charming all the women? He acts like the kid who went to study a semester abroad and returns with a new personality. I prefer the “old Colin”. The confession lacked romance and poetry. These are just some of the complaints.
And I agree. That isn’t Colin. Which - again - is exactly the point. Colin is putting on a show to fit in. But he’s kidding himself. And the show spells this out directly multiple times:

• LW gives him a dressing down.
• Eloise tells him flat out.
• His “friends” say “you’re much more fun this season. What happened to you?”
• His brother jests “who are you and what have you done to our brother?”
• His mother gently warns him about not keeping his “armor” on for too long.
• Colin himself admits it several times. In the carriage scene he flat out tells Pen he’s been trying and failing to be someone he’s not. To “feel less” (as in “feel things less deeply, be less sensitive”, not “feel less for Pen” btw).

Why do we get pirate Colin? Partly because of what happened in season one and two. It took him a while to let go of what happened with Marina. Although I believe not because he really loved her genuinely. She was just a symbol for his search for purpose. I think the conversation with Penelope where she talks about her own purpose in life is part of why he went to find himself. And another big part in this “new Colin” is also indirectly caused by Pen:
Why did he return so changed this time and not when he returned from Greece last season? Why is this grand tour different? I’d say because Pen didn’t answer his letters. She is the only one who has taken him seriously. Even Colin’s family acts annoyed when he talks about his (sometimes lofty) thoughts and feelings. He gets rebuffed for it all the time. His siblings mock his philosophical nature, they mocked his stubble in season two. Treated him like a child. Only Pen genuinely listens. Her letters used to ground him and gave him an outlet for his true personality to shine. And it took just one summer without her grounding him for Colin to completely lose himself.
Isn’t it ironic, and deliberately so, that Colin returns completely changed (on first glance), tells Pen that charm can be learned and how to attract men by leaving her favorite topics behind. How she should just smile, laugh and flutter her lashes at the men. And after just a couple of interactions with her, just a couple of reminders who he is around her, he completely changes his tune and tells her to just be herself because she already is charming? He gives her this very true and valuable advice and yet up until episode four he doesn’t realize he should take his own advice?
It really just takes a couple of interactions with Pen for Colin to get completely over his new fake personality. And I think the carriage scene is when Colin realizes his purpose. It’s Pen. As Violet told him: he’s sensitive and he wants to be helpful to others. He tried being Marina’s savior even though she didn’t want to be saved. She wanted to use him to save herself. And in season two Colin actually fulfills his dream: He saves Pen and her family from Jack’s plot. And dances with her with a puffed up chest, brimming with pride and confidence. Season three makes him take on the role of Pen’s savior again. He likes standing up for her. He likes who he is when he can protect her. And he likes how she is the only one who appreciates that side of him. You can see it in his face when the carriage arrives in front of his house. He’s found his purpose. It was right under his nose all along.
I think maybe some people feel the romance plot is too subtle. And it doesn’t take center stage like the previous couples did. But I think that is deliberate and a great way to tackle the friends to lovers trope. Colin and Pen’s world shifts while no one is paying them much attention because everyone thinks they already know how these two characters stand toward each other. Only Violet, awesome mom that she is, susses Colin out.

Cabe destacar que fui un novio que cubrio siempre la parte emocional y llenándola de detalles pero igual me cansaba porque yo no recibía nada de ella.
Ya por último pues terminamos, solo recuerdo que ya no quería besarme ni tener intimidad conmigo y d Me dijo: "Un hombre sabe cuándo una mujer no es virgen" y siento que casi me dijo: "Quiero guardar mi virginidad para alguien más" supuestamente porque yo era inseguro pero en realidad fue porque revise su celular y vi como ella le pedía regalos o fotos a otras personas, así que empezaba a preguntarle si tenía algo. Posiblemente harán comentarios hirientes de que ella se acosto con otros o así, la verdad es lo mínimo que quiero pensar, sin embargo, cargo con esa culpa de si la decepcione en ese ámbito sxu4l y no se cómo aceptar que ya acabo sin tener esos pensamientos de ella teniendo intimidad con alguien más, ya pasó un año pero igual duele de vez en cuando. Me mantengo en contacto cero y no lo he roto.

2000s MCU (Phase 2)
X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
I would have Matthew Vaughn do this (if it wasn’t for those execs writing a fake script for Halle Berry) or Sam Raimi as some sort of side project for him so that he could also take time developing the story of Spider-Man 3.
I would keep the original ideas of TLS like the opening where there are random interferences around the world. The mutant cure and the creation of Sentinels are responses to these attacks.
I would also make Nightcrawler an official member of the team instead of just being left out after X2.
Cyclops still leaves the mansion and DOESN’T GET FUCKING KILLED OFF. He comes back in the final battle as a deus ex machina ala Han Solo in A New Hope and Harry Osborn in Spider-Man 3. Jean and Professor X don’t get killed off. Jean turns into a figure of energy in the end and tells the X-Men that she’ll be watching as he ascends to the stars.
I would add a few more scenes of Angel to show his acceptance of being a mutant while showing his rocky relationship with his father and give him a bigger role in the film.
Rogue doesn’t take the mutant cure and is officially an X-Men member. She also is more like the comics counterpart and would fight against the Magneto-controlled Sentinels in the final battle.
The Brotherhood would be the same, but with more members. Scarlet Witch (Christina Ricci) and Quicksilver (Jensen Ackles) are introduced. Juggernaut (who’s much bigger than the one in the movie we got and is revealed to be Charles’ adopted brother), Callisto, and Pyro are more badass in this version and wouldn’t get done dirty.
This would also be the movie where the X-Men are exposed to the world, which make people see them as terrorists, but the public reception improves as the film progresses. It ends with Cyclops telling a speech to the world that they’re here to protect them from world-ending threats and that they fight for mutant rights.

Blade: Trinity (2006)
This would be a Blade-centred story, no Hannibal King or Jessica Biel. Vampire is a much better villain in this version. Moon Knight (Aaron Eckhart) and Werewolf By Night (Benicio Del Toro) are introduced here and helps Blade fight Dracula in the finale.
This would set up the Midnight Sons.
Doctor Strange (2006)
Same plot as the 2016 film. Johnny Depp is Doctor Strange, Christoph Waltz is Kaecilius, and Keanu Reeves is Baron Mordo (him and Depp switched would work too).
Post credits scene shows Blade in the Sanctum Sanctorum, telling Strange that he needs his help to assemble a team.
Spider-Man 3 (2007)
I’d probably keep all the deleted scenes that Raimi made. It would be both the Editor’s Cut and The Raimi Cut combined into one. I would’ve gone with the original Venom design, which looked creepier than the one we got instead. Eddie and Sandman get more screen time and I wouldn’t make him be Uncle Ben’s killer. MJ has something to do in this film and helps Peter and Harry in the final battle.
Gwen is the damsel in distress here instead of MJ and that she dies in the final battle. Her and Harry’s death would make Peter heartbroken after all of this. The ending will be the same as the actual film and show Peter's start of moving on from Gwen and starting a new life with MJ.
Baxter Building and Stark Industries building sightings also appear.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2007)
Same as the film we got but this would be the introduction of Black Widow (Milla Jovovich). Ali Larter would play Sharon Carter and Will Smith would play Falcon. Alexander Pierce turns out to be Red Skull, showing that the Tesseract swooped him to the 50s and that (in disguise) he’s the one who actually made S.H.I.E.L.D. absorb Hydra.
Red Skull would be arrested and sent to The Raft by General Ross in the ending.
Ghost Rider (2007)
This would be R Rated and would be a lot darker. Johnny’s transformation into Ghost Rider is more grotesque and disgusting. Mephisto would have his comic accurate look. Blackheart doesn’t have that Twilight-esque relationship with Eva Mendes. Carter Slade would ironically be recasted to Harrison Ford.
Blade appears in the post-credit scene.
Iron Man 2 (2008)
This version still has Justin Hammer (Bob Odenkirk for a Rockwell take, Ian McDiarmid for a comic accurate take) as the main villain, with Whiplash as his henchman. This would also showcase Tony’s alcoholism much better. Would also set up more references to The Ten Rings. Whiplash gets the suit and becomes Crimson Dynamo for this version.
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
The Leader is the main villain. It would just be u/vampira199x Hulk 2003 pitch that he made for his 2000s MCU, which I liked and was the main inspiration for this pitch while also borrowing ideas from other posts in the subreddit.
The Punisher 2 (2008)
It would just be the 2005 game, but with Barracuda as the villain, no Stark Industries battle, and remove the framing device. More glimpses of the Baxter Building, Oscorp, and Stark Tower in the background of some shots.
Fantastic Four and The Mole Men (2009)
This would have Mole Man (Danny DeVito) and the Moloids as the villain. This would be more space adventure-esque but with the final battle taking place on Earth. Reed and Sue still get married like in ROTSS, but with The Avengers, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Daredevil, and the X-Men (without Wolverine) attending. S.H.I.E.L.D. helps during the final battle.
Daredevil: Born Again (2009)
It would just be DD S3, but with Elektra (Penelope Cruz) and The Hand.
This would introduce Jessica Jones (Liv Tyler). She appears in the ending, taking pictures of Kingpin getting arrested and Daredevil watching on top of the building.
Wolverine: The Story of Weapon X (2010)
I delayed this film a year later for the 2007-2008 writers strike to end (which is one of the reasons why X-Men Origins: Wolverine sucked)
It would still be about his origins and is Rated R, and would be more focused on Wolverine’s origins from getting his bone claws and the darker aspects of the character to his Weapon X experiment, which would end the film.
Cap has a little cameo in the WW2 scenes and there would be mentions of the Weapon Plus program having him as the first guy to participate in the program. More S.H.I.E.LD. references.
Ant-Man and The Wasp (2010)
AIM and Darren Cross (Billy Zane) are the main villains here. It would just be the 2015 film but with the AIM from Iron Man 3. The film ends with Hank creating Ultron.
Thor: The Forbidden Daughter (2011)
It would just be Thor Ragnarok but without Hulk and not killing off the Warriors Three, since they will help him alongside Thor in the final battle. It would also be less comedic and have a much darker tone.
X-Men: First Class (2011)
Same film, but Darwin doesn’t die, he just turns into big ball of energy and shows up in the end after Charles is shot, watching in the sky.
Spider-Man 4 (2011)
Vulture (John Malkovich) is the main villain. It would probably just be the Spider-Man 4 Raimi wanted to make, with Black Cat (Anne Hathaway) to ruin Peter and MJ’s relationship. Felicia would go through some character development from being a cat burglar to a straight up anti-hero.
Luke Cage (Terry Crews) gets introduced in the post credit scene, watching the news coverage of Spider-Man defeating Vulture.
The Defenders (2012)
The Defenders (Spider-Man, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist (Chris Pine)) fight against Kingpin, who has now ruled over the Hand. It would just have the same story as the Netflix show, but with Kingpin as the main villain instead of Alexandra Reid and Elektra dying in the rubble with Kingpin, while Peter saves Matt from dying with her. It ends like the 2003 film.
It also is revealed that Peter and Jessica had a history, since Jessica had a crush on Peter when they were in school together.
The Midnight Sons (2012)
This would be horror-themed and would have Mephisto as the main villain. The lineup would consist of Blade, Moon Knight, Doctor Strange, Hannibal King (Peter Facinnelli), Werewolf by Night (Josh Hartnett), and Elsa Bloodstone (Minnie Driver).
Avengers: Age of Ultron Part 1 (2013)
It would adapt the Age of Ultron storyline justice but with Ultron assembling the Masters of Evil (or Liberators or Masters of Earth): Red Skull, Dr. Doom, Magneto, Sandman, The Mole Man, Loki, and The Leader. Magneto would also seem weary of the inclusion of Schmidt here, especially if you know his origin. Vision (Mark Strong) starts out as a villain here.
The ending shows that they failed, and leads to a bleak and dystopian future where the villains have ruled over the world.
This is also where Black Widow and Hawkeye (Timothy Olyphant) are integrated in the team. Wanda and Pietro too.
The Wolverine (2013)
Set before the events of AOU Part 1, but still the same movie. The Silver Samurai outfit is more smaller and the third act is a fight between him and Logan.
No DOFP tease post credit scene, since I’ll save it for later.
Avengers: Age of Ultron Part 2 (2013)
The Avengers would encourage the help from the F4, X-Men, and Spider-Man to stop them.
Spider-Man would fangirl over meeting Cap, since he often saw him as his idol due to Uncle Ben always telling stories about him and Peter reading a lot of Cap comics when he was a kid.
Cap would recognize Logan from his WW2 days, but Logan doesn’t remember because of the adamantium bullet wiping away his memories.
Magneto, Sandman, and Vision would turn against them and help the Avengers, F4, and X-Men fight the Masters of Evil, which they succeeded. Sandman sacrifices his life while fighting them. Magneto gets arrested and put in the restructured glass prison from X-Men and X2, but more secure. The battle causes a lot of collateral damage, which leads to the government creating the Superhuman Registration Act in response to the Ultron attack in the ending.
