Notable things that have happened this week 1. Starting a new way of approaching WIP this week - days off dedicated to new/big projects and days working dedicated to polishing off WIPs 2. Got a FANTASTIC deal on some yarn that came way quicker than expected. This will definitely carry me for the foreseeable future for projects and practicing. 3. Completed Tobago Bag 4. Decided against buttons on my throw pillows, too uncomfy for something so comfy. 5. Hated every runner I made with my yarn - love the yarn but hate how not stiff it is. Trying one more pattern and then just going to accept that I need to buy new yarn. 6. Mostly completed my couch cozy - just need to find a way to weigh it down. To be continued

I’m looking for a sewing pattern for a bag that would be good for taking crochet projects on the go. It’s for a gift.
I’m not a crocheter, but here’s what I’ve noticed would be helpful: - The recipient usually uses a grocery bag (plastic or reuseable), so I think something about that size would be ideal. Maybe holds a couple skeins of yarn. They crochet a lot of hats. - pockets for organization of course! - they usually pull out the project but keep the yarn in the bag, so I’m wondering if a zipper would make the yarn snag?? - versatile enough that they could use it for something else in case they don’t want to use it for crochet projects
