Have you guys ever used Chrome's "inspect" feature?(I assume it's a chrome thing but maybe it's in other browsers too?) I discovered it years ago. I was sitting in a middle school math class, and we were doing work on a website called IXL, where you had to do problems for like 20 minutes. I must have accidentally right-clicked, and then noticed the "Inspect" option at the bottom of the toolbar. It was pretty exciting to discover. I was pretty bored at the moment(probably stuck on a math problem), so it was pretty fun to play around with. All I could really figure out was how to change text to say different things and change the dimensions of certain images. The best part was that IXL had a timer that kept track of how long you'd been working. So in theory(never had the guts to actually do it), you could change the time to say you'd met the time requirement and then you'd be done.
I always loved showing off cool easter eggs and keyboard shortcuts to my friends, so this was definitely a new favorite. At some point they(the school) must have caught on, because the option was blocked from our computers at some point. Today I remembered it was a thing so I've had fun messing around with it again.
I'd be interested to hear if people actually use this, what its intended purpose is, what you can do with it, etc. I know Google built an entire text adventure game inside it at some point.

I apologize for the lengthy post, there is a lot to this situation and I want to explain everything. I mean it when I say i’m really not trying to be an overly controlling wife who just wants to make her husband stop drinking.
My Husband and I have been together for a year and a half and married for 2 months. We eloped in March and had a reception at home for our family tonight (May 18th). If i’m being honest, our family was not much help with any of this. It was just the two of us who bought/set everything up prior to the reception and it was also just us left at the end of the night to clean up. When I tell you that there was ALOT of cleaning and packing up to be done, I mean ALOT. It took us 3 hours just to carry everything in and set up.
My husband had way too much to drink and was absolutely useless by the end of the night. Everyone left and went home and it was just me left to clean up with him stumbling around, trying to help but only making things worse. By the time i finally got everything loaded and in the car, he was being so hateful to me, which ive noticed is a pattern once he is drinking. I told him that I am so glad today was not our actual wedding day because it has been miserable for me. He began getting upset saying, "Why are you miserable?? I've done nothing to you." I figured it was no use to argue with a drunk man so I drove him home and put him to bed.
My issue is, this is not the first time something like this has happened but from what I can remember, at least the third. About a year ago, we were asked to watch and take care of his parents dogs while they were on vacation. These dogs are massive and I am a relatively small person so it is difficult for me to handle them. We went to dinner and a family members house and my husband got plastered and was unable to help me with the dogs once we got to his parents. He slept outside on the grass that night.
The second time something like this happened was about a month ago. He had too much to drink at my mother’s Easter family gathering which was very embarrassing for me.
All of these instances are so embarrassing and hard for me to deal with. Every morning after he is regretful and apologizes several times but I’m beginning to realize that this may be a pattern. WIBTA if i gave him the ultimatum to stop drinking? I don’t know that I can live like this, especially living with several alcoholic family members as a child.
TLDR: My husband as gotten overly drunk at important events that leave me in difficult situations such as family events. WIBTA if i gave him an ultimatum to stop drinking?

So I am rewatching the first few seasons before season 3. I am also reading Eloise’s book and as I’m finishing season 1, I realize that Shonda grimes gave us a little Easter egg/foreshadowing for future seasons! Marina is Sir Phillip Crane’s late wife, who Eloise will later be romantically entangled with. So we get a little prologue to that story in the show!!! I think that is so cool that they were thinking that far ahead and staying kind of canon to Quinn’s story! Did anyone else who has also read the books catch this way back then and think it was cool?

we gotta cut this narrative that u need specific starters to make it through classic or that the species of pokemon you have is the biggest factor in winning. if someone needs some ideas on who to run im all for helping but this game has some of the hardest backseating i’ve ever seen. DID YOU KNOW PICKUP IS BROKEN? DID YOU KNOW MEOWTH IS BROKEN? DID YOU KNOW GOLISOPOD IS BROKEN? i mean it’s a game made in a roguelite fashion where ur pokemon are made to get absolutely juiced w perfect ivs, 2 abilities (passive), illegal egg moved,and buffs during the run. everything is going to feel broken when you hit the right combo.
i think people who don’t play roguelikes are unfamiliar with dumping all ur resources into a certain win condtion/combo to become broken and sweep. I think people who dont play rom hacks or hard pokemon are not used to learning the ai’s patterns and starting to easily predict their moves. In either case people struggle and get screamed at that the need better mons or this is what u used in your run so they should do that.. I just swept classic easily with ampharos, nidoqueen, parasect, lurantis, linoone, klefki without one of them having passive, hidden ability, or egg move. i dont think im better than u or some pokemon elitist bc of that. im just trying to say if people need help id like to see more tips on how to play the game and less HOLY FRICKING FRICK U DIDNT EVEN USE TINKATON HAHAHA WHERES UR KYOGRE bc i think it makes it feel like a more insurmountable task to newcomers when u tell them they need to farm passives nd legendaries to get the feeling of one win.
go ahead and tell me what pokemon on my team is super hard to obtain and broken. and before u say it, a lot of easy to get mon like linoone have pickup, i didnt mega my ampharos bc i didnt want dragon weakness, and i saw klefki, mawile, and tinkaton during the run and simply caught the first one i saw so i had an easy defensive pivot. you CAN 1. use lures in biomes w steel/fairy mon to get higher odds to see them 2. find a map 3. always make sure to have balls on hand so u dont miss 4. start with one 5. dna splice one.. its not guaranteed but i’ve heard too many times that it’s super highroll to see one when it just isn’t. (rip to my brothers who got caught in the blue collar loop though (employees at the lake, power plant, or construction site 🤣)

I had the Mario Paint game on SNES as a kid. It was from the UK so would have been PAL version.
To cut things short, I think you need to have some saved images in the game. Then at the title screen, we used to try and connect a second controller to the second controller port (mouse was in controller port one). Sometimes - when we wriggled the 2nd controller connector in 2nd port socket, at the Mario Paint intro screen, we could trigger a "please wait" screen, and it would be followed by a preview of images, one of which was an image I had saved in the game.
I've not seen any mention of this, and no longer have easy access to the SNES, but... I'd love to understand what the heck was happening there, and am so surprised to see no reference of this anywhere online. Does no one recall this.. ?! Starting to wonder if we stumbled on something?!
I'd love to hear if anyone else saw this easter egg/hidden function/normal function in Mario Paint that I can't see documented anywhere online - mostly because it was when I was maybe 5 years old, and I barely remember it fully. If it is unknown to folks, I hope it's useful to anyone interested!
The backstory is - my brother and I were super young and managed to trigger the screen in this way while we were bored. The screen would say "please wait". When I came back, it looks like all my data is gone: all my attachments and GobbleGums are gone, and the gateworms on the menu screens are gone too. I think it might be my connection? I updated my PS4 and am signed in to PSN, but when I'm in the game it says that I'm not connected to PSN or the COD servers. Anyone have any ideas?

 | Been a good while since I attempted Forge and now I know why. It's glitchy as all out! submitted by SEspider to haloinfinite [link] [comments] I loved this show but due to resources, I'm not going to make the ship accurate. The ship was not anywhere close to consistent during the series. So I'm pushing for the spirit of the show instead. I'm also going to have to move rooms around and add rooms to keep the interior from being confusing. Something I've badly experienced with the new Forge maps in matchmaking. Simpler is more in my opinion. So while I'll be making iconic rooms from the show, their locations will be simplified for gameplay purposes. I may also add little Easter eggs like Talkie Toaster, Holly, and others. I have a long way to go on this map but I'll be taking my sweet time with it. I added the spartan for size comparison, but it doesn't really help. The ilyellow windows you see are taller then he is. The overall ship takes up about 80% of the play areas, while the ship's nose extends past the boarders. |

I don't want to just find anybody, like a child, during Easter searching for chocolate eggs and sweets, or like a treasure hunter following a map where X marks the spot.
I want to build it from the ground up without directions, and it doesn't have to feel like a weight on our shoulders. It can be easy if we carry these burdens together in unity.
I want it to work, where I can make a Cynical Witty remark, and you just smile, and brighten the shadows accumulating in my mind, and respond with refreshing words that make it all worth it.

The companion I'm with even confirms they heard it too. However, it never shows itself. I have checked every nook and cranny of that place to see if there's a latch or button or something that releases/reveals this creature, but nothing.
