Hi folks. I just got out of a call with the DevOps team to write this, and then I'm popping back in with them. They've worked non-stop since the outage began and even were working through the night to get us to where we are now. Our current estimate time for Minehut being fully back online is still 1 to 6 days.
The great news is that we have successfully managed to redeploy our control machines and are bringing systems back online. You may have even noticed earlier today that for a few moments Minehut showed 1,500 servers were online - it's a sign of things to come! At this very moment, we are working on rebuilding the connections with our account databases which our game network/servers and website and other services all use. And that's what our process is going to be like moving forward: connecting each individual system back to the core and making sure everything is working properly before we put everything back online for you to access. It'll take more time, but it's looking good so far.
About Refunds and Compensation I know a lot of you have been asking questions about this, so here's the answer:
You will receive 2x credit refunds for the duration of the downtime based on what you should have received (server hosting, ranks, etc...). For example, if you had a subscription for 1,800 credits/month, and our total downtime is 4 days, you will be credited 240 credits x 2, which is 480 total credits.
This process for refunding will be completed in the future after we get all systems back online and stable for a few days. We do not have an ETA on when refunds will be processed yet since we don't have everything back online yet.

It’s a long distance relationship, but we’ve known each other for almost two years. We admitted to liking each other and after about four months we started to date officially. It was great the first couple weeks, but then she started sending hundreds of “I love you” and “you’re so beautiful” etc wholesome memes and gifs a day. It was cute at first but it quickly got annoying. I talked to her about it, saying it was a little overwhelming and I would like to be able to talk about things besides how much we like each other. She agreed and after that we were still affectionate of course, just toned down. But starting two weeks ago she started getting bad again. With the constant i love yous, and I want to hold you, and I miss you(how can you miss someone you’ve never met?) we can be talking about video games or our days or what we wanna eat and she’ll suddenly say she loves me or sends me one of those damn memes/gifs. It’s always out of nowhere. It started with one or two but now she’s up to about ten a day. And constantly saying she misses me and wants to hold me. I know i should be grateful she likes me so much but it’s draining. We’re in our 30’s, not high school! It’s getting to the point I want to dump her but I don’t know how. We have a lot of the same online friends.

I have been really struggling with impulsive purchases recently. I’ll go “oo, I want that!” and just buy it. However, this is something that has been helping me. I adopted this idea from a YouTube video I saw!
TOOLS: - a notebook - a pen
Whenever there is an item that I want, I add it to the list along with a point value.
For example, a book I’ve never heard of until today I decide I want. So I add the book title to the list and mark it for 1000 points.
I keep track of points using tally marks. Every day that I remember to look in the notebook (aka remember that the items even exist), I get to place a new tally mark next to all the items listed there. Right now I make each tally mark worth 100 points.
Once I hit the point value listed on an item, I could buy it…if I even still want to. Part of the purpose of the notebook is to place time between buying an item to make sure you actually want it.
I’m still new to this method but so far it has helped and stopped me from immediately purchasing things I see online. It’s kind of a game now where I go, “oh I need to earn points for that!” and enjoy pulling out my notebook to keep track and score things. Maybe this will be helpful to someone else!

I’ve been friends with a guy I met online through gaming around 2 and a half years ago. Our friendship has been pretty stable, we get along well and enjoy each others company. He’s quite thoughtful and will message me a lot of the time.
He tries to involve me in a lot of things he does when gaming, he has searched for people to play with us, which I really appreciate. For some reason I couldn’t vibe with some people, I felt like they were fake or just not gonna stick around for long. My intuition is very strong and I’m right about a lot of things (not saying this out of arrogance but a lot of my beliefs have reigned true). He doesn’t take my advice on board quite often, he’s not great at reading people but when they don’t bother with him much longer it’s always an “I told you so” in my head.
Now here is where I have a problem, he’s a lovely guy and probably one of my best friends, we’ve met in person. When he finds new people to play with he gets quite wrapped up in that world, I sometimes would feel left out or upset that he would always sing their praises and be playing with them 3/4 times of the week and not bother much with me. I feel like these are phases of his? In the end, majority of people would just leave. I just worry about where I stand with him because he’s talked about people before that he has maybe drifted or he vibes better with others. I don’t want to come across as needy or anything but I am a very loyal person that only cares to have a couple friends and I’m contented. I’m worried that he would maybe stop bothering with me as much and that I would again have to search for other friends… what do I do? I feel like if I address it with him that he would think I’m being needy maybe.

I just got access to private land unrestricted for archery, and looking to get a crossbow this year and not familiar with them. I’ve shot traditional archery for fun but never felt comfortable shooting at game, and I’ve just never shot compounds well. Honestly just trying to put meat in the freezer this year for myself and the landowners. I’ll also get to hunt with rifle but won’t have as much access. I’m not really familiar with xbows other than occasional handling them in passing so wondering what to look for besides comfort.
Also I know I’ll need the Xbow itself plus additional bolts, broadheads, practice target, and decock target. Anything else I’ll need? Budget would be about $500 for the xbow itself most likely from basspro/cabelas as all the local archery shops have closed, or ordering online but wary of that since I won’t have a feel for it first

I’m a straight 20-year-old male struggling with a complex mix of mental health issues, and I'm looking for advice or shared experiences. I suffer from depression, existential OCD, and Bipolar disorder, which causes me to swing between intense existential realizations and deep, hopeless depression. I also have (important) autogynephilia and am a part-time cross-dresser. I started cross-dressing in secret as a child, feeling immense guilt due to my religious upbringing. The difficult part about it was not that I didn’t look good enough, it was that I looked way better dressed as a female and even my irl and online friends would agree. I have a small waist, large hips, soft skin and just preform better as a submissive during intimate sessions. Why would God make me such a passable feminine body along with autogynephilia (the sexual attraction to oneself thought as a woman aka trap, femboy, cross dresser, trans or whatever you want to call it.) Fortunately, I have a loving girlfriend who not only accepts but enjoys and supports this aspect of me. Despite this, the religious guilt is overwhelming, especially because I grew up in a strict religious environment.
I'm constantly plagued by thoughts and dread about the afterlife, God, and the universe. I often feel that the rapture is imminent and am troubled by the idea of a cruel God. This consumes my mind daily. Recently, I’ve had panic and anxiety attacks about going to hell and the impossibility of being good enough to enter heaven. I feel destined for hell, and every action is scrutinized through the lens of my fear of eternal damnation. It’s making my life miserable. These thoughts and feelings have been with me for as long as I can remember.
These issues deeply affect my relationship with my girlfriend. I go through phases where I fully embrace cross-dressing, and we have a lot of fun together, but then I swing to the opposite extreme, throwing away all our toys in fear of eternal punishment. My research into Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) has only added to my confusion, as everyone seems to have different experiences, making life feel like a cruel game.
It doesn't help that people find my brain extremely interesting and believe I’m destined for so much more, given my talents as a closeted femboy. This has driven me to search for truth beyond religion and philosophy. I’ve attempted exposure therapy, but it's hard to apply it to these deep existential concerns. I've seen two therapists who found my case too interesting or entertaining to be genuinely helpful. I even tried talking to a priest about my issues, but he ended up trying to take advantage of me, leading to my girlfriend and I leaving that town. Ultimately, I want to achieve a mindset where I’m not in constant cognitive dissonance and can live without the fear of eternal torment for being the way God made me.
Has anyone else dealt with similar issues or found effective ways to cope with such profound existential and religious anxiety?
For example, why would God give me 1. A passable feminine body 2. Autogynophelia to match the body 3. A perfect GF that loves me for who I am then send me to hell because of it?

I just bought a ps3 that’s been modded with evilnat & webman and has a crap ton of games. I want to play online challenges but it says I need to be signed into psn. I went to do so by pressing triangle and R2 clearing syscalls, and then went to psn, but it wants me to update my system. Obviously not cause it’s jail broken so I won’t update that way. PSN patch sounds like the answer but how do I install it using FileZilla? Where do I place the file and how to I install it on my ps3? I have a fat external hard drive but I don’t know if my ps3 is reading it. I’m still new to this. Any tips on getting online? I don’t want any mod menus or to cheat I just want to play the games

It's a cycle: I'll start a game, try to do achievements/side quests first, get burnt out even though I'm not even half done with the story yet, and never play the game ever again which leaves me feeling worse off. I don't enjoy online games because it's too competitive and rage inducing. I also don't enjoy games that are limited, I want there to be a lot of stuff to do, and a rich story but I abandon those games quickly. It's like I'm barred from having fun in gaming. Is there anything I could do about this?
