2024.05.22 01:17 CandidInteraction199 Anthony Brown, Brown Financials LLC, Dexa Credit Builder, Con Man, never paid me, tried to gaslight me, guy is homeless and on drugs, has a drinking problem, liar, hot mess

Anthony Brown of Brown Financials LLC is in fact a con man. If you're searching the internet now wondering if you should accept work with him or pay attention to all the red flags, this is your sign. He will not pay you, he will spend your paycheck on drugs, and then try to gaslight you into giving him your bank info to 'get paid,' which is in fact not going to happen. He is every bit the bumbling idiot you suspect he is.

2024.05.22 00:22 boshibobo Gamesir x4 vs g8

I bought both of these from Amazon and I intend to return the one I like less, problem being I can't decide which one is which so I'm jolting down a pros/cons to help me decide:

G8:

+Wired

+Pass through charging (very slow)

+Audio jack

+Works with a computer (useful for when I travel for 1-2 month with limited baggage)

-usb c might damage phone in the long run or it might break

-somewhat uncomfortable compared to x4

-bulky when not in use.

-might drain phone battery since it's wired

X4:

+Very comfortable to use

+Very compact when stored

+Can play wild rift with only the left side attached

- Bluetooth, supposedly worse than wired even if I didn't notice any difference, could get worse combined with cloud gaming + BT earphones (I tested controller + earphones and there were no delays)

- doesn't work with computer, it connects and the buttons respond but doesn't work in any game I tried

What do you guys think?

2024.05.22 00:12 LA818SFV Opinions

I have a quick question to run by you guys. I currently have 20+ year old Swarovski SLC 10x42s that are great. I get a pretty good discount on Leupold from my job and have Leupold as my current hunting scope as well. I was wondering if anyone has any opinion on just how much quality newer leupold binos are going to have over the Swaros that are that old. Just been kicking around getting a new pair.
I guess one of my cons of the swaros are they are pretty hefty.

2024.05.22 00:07 KurdtKobain1994 Are the soft plastic Soviets good? as well as some more rambling and questions.

Some of you may have seen a recent post I made, asking about the uniforms of the Czechoslovak military in the Team Yankee timeframe, wanting to get some Soviet figures and paint them up as Czechoslovaks (since the uniforms and gear are basically close enough).
I wanted to do a Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia (Prague Spring 2: Electric Boogaloo) campaign using another, squad-level ruleset called Fivecore, thinking that I can just get a platoon of Soviets (they're only 8.50, and even more figures than you actually need for a platoon!) as well as a BMP or a T-72 or two, and split them between the forces - and then I can use both armies against any NATO forces I collect in the future, something I definitely want to do.
Anyways, on that post I got plenty of valuable info about uniforms and uniform colours, and thanks for that to those who contributed! but now the question has arisen - are the soft plastic Soviet figures good? I know opinions on them have generally been varied, but I'd like to hear some more, some pros and cons, etc. I don't like the look of the FoW soft plastic figures, seeing as they've all got the same weird, ugly face and massive hands, but these guys don't look nowhere near as bad. Still, I'd appreciate some more thoughts on them.
Should I just wait for the hard plastics later this year? Should I try and hunt down some metal ones on used websites (pretty sure it's impossible, I can't find much, if any Team Yankee stuff in my area) - I do quite like metal 15mm miniatures, or at least I like the Peter Pig ones I've got. I'm afraid the new plastics will look perhaps a bit too stiff? Too computer-designed (having said that, maybe the current ones suffer from this too)? Anyways, I know QRF make some 15mm Soviets but I can't get them in Europe without paying import duties and so on, ordering from the UK.
Lastly, what is some good, versatile terrain that I can make for a modern battlefield? Not super dense urban, not fully countryside or forest either. I have a very small table, barely 2x2ft, so I don't need a ton of it. Preferrably something a bit Eastern/Central Europe-flavoured, considering the setting of the project and all. I'm scratch-building anything, both to save money/because I'm cheap and because I quite enjoy it generally (when it works out). And do you reckon I should base them (both the figures and the terrain) in a mud sort of theme, or green fields, kind of arid dirt, or what (also taking into account what works well with the uniforms in terms of colours)?
Thanks a lot in advance!

2024.05.21 23:28 YouGuysNeedTalos [Question] GADA watch: Longines Spirit 37, Tudor BB36 or other?

I would like to get a swiss GADA watch. My budget would be below 4k. I am not willing to get secondhand because actually they are difficult to find and import here, so let's base on the MSRP value.
I am so far between Longines Spirit 37 in blue and also the new Tudor Black Bay 36 in blue. I recently also saw the Tag Heuer Carrera Date 39mm and it also looks awesome.
Quick comparison:
Longines Spirit 37:
Pros: size, finish, date, mostly brushed surface, price
Cons: 5 stars, red seconds hand (already have it in my current watch), bracelet, case seems to scratch easily
Tudor BB36:
Pros: unique design, amazing sunburst dial, size, bracelet
Cons: price (1300 more than the Spirit), no date
Tag Heuer Carrera Date 39mm:
Pros: looks good, more GADA feeling than the others
Cons: price in between the others, movement
What do you guys think? What else would you recommend?
Edit: I do not want a dive watch for GADA, I will not be diving with it. I find non dive watches more elegant, and easier to wear on most occasions.

2024.05.21 23:16 makemyweekbetter [UPDATE] I [36M] surprised wife [32F] by coming home early only to find another man [21?M] in our home late(...)

Alright well folks keep asking an update and I have been meaning to, things went smoothish for a bit, but then got more fucked up again and then fine and then fucked again just this morning so here I am. Using you all to make sense of it.
Edit: here's the original post, sorry
https://www.reddit.com/relationship_advice/comments/1clivwd/i_36m_surprised_wife_32f_by_coming_home_early/
For the days after we talked a lot, she was adamant she wanted nothing to do with him, has no feelings other than friendship and now that she was aware both (a) the possibility of him trying (it is true I or she still don't *know* his intentions) and (b) my reaction to her behavior (leaving out his presence later with her in text messages to me after carpooling/putting our kid to bed, trickle-truthing me on her view of his possible intentions), she said she "doesn't want anything to do with him. no, just no."
She offered up her phone if I wanted to see their conversations, she did the location sharing thing on her iPhone. Was pretty clear that this was all some bullshit and she hates that this situation ever became a thing. She was losing a friend but was more than willing to.
We set some boundaries.
  1. People over late at the house, just let the other person know. Obviously family doesn't count. Just to avoid any possibility of any inference, better to let each other know who is in our house that late, 1 on 1.
  2. For people who may we feel even have hints of intentions beyond platonic, we should overshare with each other. (thanks helpful commenter) Not overanalyze every relationship but just things like "Doc X said this today, kinda weird" or "new guy at foraging seemed to like me a lot". Stuff like that.
I don't want to be a controlling person, I'm not that person but maybe because of my history I require more openness and communication about things like that in a relationship. She told me I was being too worried about her feelings/me being controlling and that was more than willing to do anything it took to rebuild any trust that was broken from the situation.
2nd session of marriage counseling and obviously topic came up first. I started to give a brief history but got interrupted by our child upstairs, I gave them some attention and came back down to continue. When I got to the part of coming home, taking a shower and confronting my wife, I can't remember who said what, but it was interrupted, talking happened and then the therapist said "and it sounds like (wife name) recognized what had happened and your past". Wife said she didn't know how close/similar some of the details were and the conversation moved on from there. The omission of his presence in text messages, trickletruthing, none of that was brought up.
But things were looking up, not sure I like the therapist but whatever. Things seem to be good. She seemed fairly contrite though I really was still bothered by the red and orange flags planted in my little mind garden.
Fast forward, a week? Something like that.
I fucked up. I guess I'm glad I did but I did fuck up. I don't sleep much, 5 hours max. Was up early, garden tending, made breakfast for little one and coffee for her, usual. I saw her work bag on the floor and I saw her journal in there. And I fucked up and I read it. I wanted to know if he (the 21M) was in her journal.
For some context, I read the journals of my late partner, who died over a decade ago, and it was a stupid horrible mistake. I read things that I shouldn't have, very raw thoughts and feelings, pros and cons list of me. Shit like that. Then, entries about the other man and her falling in love with him. And her thoughts about her conflicted thoughts about leaving me. Near the end, if I recall, she didn't know, she loved us both but we were so different. I kept the journals, still have them somewhere, but I did burn those last pages about him. I do recall telling myself that I was protecting future me. I'm glad I burned those pages and I'm glad I kept her journals but I don't venture to read them anymore. I will again when I'm older, to keep her alive in me somehow I guess.
Anyways, when I saw her journals in the bags I just grabbed them and I read the latest couple pages. Innocuous stuff until I got to about a month ago.
It said: "Texted all night and hike Monday"
Now that wasn't me she texted with or hiked with on that day, that was with him. When she forgot to get her prescription.
So that meant two things to me:
  1. Who writes "texted all night" in their journal with someone they don't have feelings about? I'm not a journaler person, I don't like my thoughts enough to put them to paper, but that doesn't seem right to me. No name but def him, the dates match. I don't know, again, I don't journal so maybe anything can mean anything in there but what the fuck.
  2. She had planned on hiking with him. She didn't tell me that. She told me of her plans going hiking after work to pass the time before the pharmacy opens, but never told me that he was going too.
In fairness, she told me after she sent pictures of the hike to me and his dog was in the photos. But she didn't mentioned they had planned it together, seemed spontaneous but I never asked I guess.
So yeah, I stopped reading. Kinda felt like I was shot with an arrow. Pretty horrible feeling because I thought things were going to be okay but I now I read this shit.
It was like 6am at this point, so I went on a run to clear my head and get the adrenaline out. Some tears too. Got home and they were still sleeping, when they woke up and we were alone I asked her again if she ever developed any feeling at all for him. She said no. I told her I read her journal. I apologized but I told her I read something and I needed an explanation.
She wasn't happy. She told me those are personal, her thoughts and not for other people. She was also confused as to what I could have possibly read about him/the situation that need explaining. She asked me to show her the entry, I did.
[context, they work overnights together]
Her response was: "Oh yeah, we texted a lot that night. He wasn't working but I was. You know I wasn't home right? I was working that night."
I asked why it was in her journal? And why were you were planning to hike with him but when you told me about your plans for that day, you never mentioned you were planning it with him?"
She said "Well I didn't know for sure he would come, we were talking bout it but I didn't know for sure" and the texted all night part "didn't mean anything", that journals are fragments, not full thoughts and she was just writing it
I didn't like that answers at all honestly. We had another long discussion where she reassured me it meant nothing, that it shouldn't be interpreted as anything about her having feelings for him. I believe her. I don't know how she journals so maybe this isn't far out of the norm, I don't know.
Have to be honest here, the trust I had in her, a lot of it left. Which is pretty much the basis of a relationship. A lot of people sent me messages after my post with spy cams and shit. If I had to resort to that, I'd just end the relationship I thought. Now here I am snooping on her journals.
Two days later, kid and I go out camping at a park for a couple nights (she's working). Have a blast. During that time away I decide it's important to me to know what conversations took place between them. Yes I snooped, but I think it's reasonable, at this point, to demand to know just what types of things are said between them. She offered earlier, I just never took her up on it because it was really obvious to me, she felt she had nothing to hide.
But after this journal entry thing, yeah I would like to know what 'texted all night' means. I thought if the conversation that night is just bullshit, sure whatever. If it's more, or that night is deleted or something, then I'll know. I honestly expected to read the messages, be reassured of her side of the story and move on.
So we got home yesterday from camping. This morning I asked her if I could read their conversations. Explained why and without hesitation she said yes and went to get her phone. Gave it to me and I sat to start reading.
They had been texting recently, mostly innocuous mushroom stuff, then a one/ a couple attempts by him to come ovego out foraging. I guess he was going to around our area (he lives an hour away) cruising on his motorcycle and her response to him was, as close as I can recall was:
"not today not allowed to have anyone at home. lol"
Alright what the fuck
She saw my face and asked what was wrong. I put the phone down and said I don't want to read anymore.
I asked if she had told him about my view on their relationship, or what happened or anything about him/heI. She said no. I asked again. She said no, he has no clue, she never mentioned anything.
I showed her the text and asked her why she would say that.
Why would she say "no one was allowed" at home? People are allowed in my home, that wasn't any of the boundaries we set together. He's been here, clearly. And why would she say that to him if she never mentioned anything like that to him?
Her response was that she meant she wasn't having people ovewas busy. She then told me "you were home that day...I don't get it". Yeah I didn't read the dates of the text but even so, why the fuck would you word it that way? That's not even close to "no, I'm busy today" or literally any other million ways to say I'm not available today. I'm not allowed to have people at home is entirely different. lol is entirely different.
I cannot see how on earth you get from those words to that meaning she says she was trying to convey. Maybe I'm wrong. She said she didn't mean it that way it's not her mother tongue. To be fair, English is not her first language. She's quite fluent and has learned it from childhood but it's not her primary language. We've spoken exclusively English together for the ~decade I've known her. You wouldn't know it wasn't her primary talking to her unless you had a good ear. But she's right, maybe it just is a mistranslation. She said it was "clumsy" and not meant in any way to convey anything more than "I'm not available today".
We talked all morning until she went to bed. She reassured me she loves me and only me. I walked through every red flag, every opportunity for her to be honest an open. I asked why she didn't tell me about his recent attempts to meet up again?
She said she didn't know she should have told me. She said she didn't know she had to replay every conversation with him to me. I said she didn't, that's not what I was asking. But I was asking for her to be extra open about her relationship with him to me and him asking to come over, twice, definitely would require her letting me know.
I told her she didn't respect me at all. I told her she didn't care enough to tell me. I told her she's not being open and honest with me. That it's not me and her against the world, that this relationship is something else.
She reassured me it meant nothing but now that she sees how that text could be read that way (as if they had discussed him not being allowed in our home, she still denies), that she understands why I would react that way. She was frustrated, she said "it feels like a little fly came into my life and shit all over everything", referring to him and his advances as the cause of what fucked this all up.
I reiterated to her, every step along the way, in which she could have been truthful to me and decide to omit information.
Texting all night and planning the hike.
Staying over late after carpooling together, after our kid went to sleep, texting me and not mentioning he was still over.
Trickle-truthing me on whether she thinks he's interested in her.
His two offers to meet via text/messenger or whatever (that I saw, didn't look more) that she didn't think to tell me about.
And her reply of "not today not allowed to have anyone at home. lol" whatever the fuck that means.
Her position is still the same, that this is all the bad coincidences and misunderstandings, misreading texts or journal entires, etc. But she says she loves me, has only eyes for me and better understands now where I'm coming from.
So.. there's my little hell I've got for myself.
Personal therapy starting soon but I guess reddit therapy will do for now. It's somehow therapeutic to remember this and type it all out. Sorry, looking back this is insanely long, it's too long to proofread if shits garbled. Took me all day to write I guess.
Last post I felt very overwhelmed by the response, sorry I didn't respond to a lot of comments or questions or clarifications. I'll try to do better here, since this is probably the final time I'll use reddit as therapy.
Thanks in advance. I guess I should ask in this field of flags is there some green grass? I trust my wife. I did. When she tells me she loves me and only me, I'm convinced. Or is this all as fucked as the plain reading makes it seem? Because it does seem quite fucked.

2024.05.21 22:52 TheAngryObserver Little Marco is a coward and a loser (rant)

"The intelligentsia are the people who squeal loudest, and yet they collapse into defeatism when the pinch comes. They are far-sighted enough to see the odds against them, and moreoever they can be bribed." - George Orwell
Little Marco used to be a rising star. I was in 5th grade when I became aware of the 2016 campaign. My parents' consensus was that nobody was perfect and the worst outcome (Hillary Clinton winning) was assured. Their favorite was Marco Rubio, who they saw as an honest, smart guy that would faithfully promote the old conservatism.
Rubio was a rising star-- young, from a big state, vaguely Hispanic, and broadly in line with Republican orthodoxy. He was as good of a bet as anyone for 2016, but outside forces blew up his ambitions. Little Marco squealed and squalled about the dangers of nominating Trump over him. The term "con artist" was pulled out on at least one occasion. He knew exactly what would happen if he lost. "You mark my words," Little Marco intoned, "there will be prominent people in American politics who will spend years explaining to people how they fell into this."
And lost Little Marco did. He is never going to be President now. His options after 2016 were to get with the program or be exiled to MSNBC. You can see him on TV practically every week now. You can see it in his face-- Little Marco liked being the rising star way better than going on TV and equivocating, denying, and/or defending all the stuff he feared in 2016.
Little Marco does what he needs to. And now there's light at the end of the tunnel. He is reportedly being considered for #2 to the guy he warned us about. This would effectively make him regional manager of the equivocators, deniers, and defenders of the stuff he warned us would happen. And he's jumping out of his socks for the opportunity. Little Marco knows that there was no fraud in the 2020 election, he knows that the 2024 election is safe, and he knows that by insinuating it might not be he is enabling a serious risk to the Constitution he swore to. He knows better, but his audition is a couple of months longer and he must keep his game face on.
Marco Rubio is despicable. He is a pathetic coward and a sad loser. And he is every Republican in Congress right now. Our problems won't really go away until they've all been voted out.

2024.05.21 22:12 puchungues when its ok to start with hormone therapy? just want to pass facially

fist i wanted to start clearing that i am not trans but my boyfriend is (i am cis female) so i dont really understand or know what to say so i hope it doesnt bother you that i am asking this here , wich is why im talking in 3rd person
My boyfriend (ftm) transitioned a couple years ago and recently hes been on a dilemma of wether or not to start hormone therapy. the reason of this is because theres more cons than pro: its really expensive where we live, family does not support financially, scared of needles etc but he gets misgendered all of the time because of his face, he even got his named changed legally and people keep treating him as her, he says it makes him feel awful so wanted to start the therapy but like i said its somewhat difficult. In the case he did start with therapy, do you guys think that it will help with facial masculinization or with passing?or what else can he do to make himself look more masculine in his face? i have read in this same subreddit that the effects of facial masculinizacion or change in bone structure are not really certain and it depends on the person, or it can take years. is it okay to take the risk or are there any other alternatives?
Sorry if my english isnt the best, im not native english speaker so dont be harsh pls . Also i will show him the answers to this post and translate for him . thank you !!!

2024.05.21 21:51 thepastisalive Have been considering getting a cockatiel - what should I be aware of?

Hi everyone,
I've been doing some research to possibly get a bird, most likely a cockatiel, or budgies, but I thought you guys might have more insight for me.
I own three guinea pigs and would love to welcome a feathery friend. Are they compatible? Should they be kept away from each other?
If any of you live in Canada, I would love some cage recommendations, as well as toys and other necessary accessories. I've read different opinions about cockatiels being kept alone or in pairs. Guinea pigs have to have a friend, but is this also true for cockatiels, or do they manage to do well alone? I work from home, so I'm home 24/7, if that helps.
I have never owned birds before, so I welcome any advice or pros and cons you guys have for me. I know there's no such thing as a "starter bird", but do you guys think cockatiels are good for a first time owner?
Thanks!

2024.05.21 21:47 Commercial-Basis-220 THE STEALTHIEST STEALTH TO EVER STEALTH

So I was thinking of doing another campaign, but using OP builds is boring so I did some research. Basically, this strategy utilizes party members to buff a main character and max out Stealth.
Even tho we're maxing stealth, i think the damage output of this build is still strong ( in normal battle )
You can do this multiple ways, and here's some choices I came up with. All of this info I got from bg3.wiki and my memory from build tutorials I read/watched before, so special thanks to all of them.
TLDKeypoint:
Lightfoot Halfling character with 24 Dex + Greater Invisibility (from someone) + Expertise Stealth + Advantage in stealth check + ton bonus stealth check via gear, guidance and pass without a trace + Lucky from Halfling
Not enough? go for 11 rogue to get reliable talent
**Character Creation**:
* Race Selection : any or Lightfoot Halfling for an advantage and a reroll on a 1 on stealth checks
* Background (if Tav): any or Urchin / Criminal for Stealth Proficiency
* Class: Explained on later section ( Multiple ways to do this ), but you could choose Rogue/FighteRanger for now
* Main Ability: Go for 17 dex, the rest, up to you, personally I then max Constitution, and then Charisma (if Party Face) or Wisdom and dump the rest
* Skill Proficiency: Maxing Stealth for proficiency and expertise, rest up to you
**Class Selection**
Overview:
Your character should have access to:
* How to get 24 Dexterity:
17 initial dex + 1 Hag HaiAthlete Feat + 2 ASI + 2 Mirror of Loss + 2 Nimblefinger Gloves
* The build:
If you use hag hair
Go for classic 5 Gloomstalker (disguise self + pass without a trace) / 4 Champion / 3 Assassin / 2 of your feat being +2 ASI DEX and Sharpshooter and picking stealth expertise.
Fighting style: Archery and Defense
If not:
Go for 8 Champion Fighter (Athlete/ASI, ASI, Sharpshooter) / 1 rogue (Stealth Proficiency & Expertise) / 3 trickery cleric (disguise self+pass without a trace)
Fighting style: Archery
The order of taking level is up to you, but if you want to stealthing as soon as possible, prioritize getting pass without a trace and upgrading your dex/stealth skill, once a party member has access to greater invisibility, go nuts!
—-------------------------
**Stealth Gear Choices**
This list of gear will give stealth check bonus, if you think you have enough stealth bonus, feel free to change it, my goal is to make the enemy can’t see me,
With your 24 dex, shield, and armor alone, you are able to get up to 13+7+2=22 AC, If you want more you could do via gear or spell, but I don’t think you need high AC cause you will be attacking while invisible, do a high AC never hurt :D.
*Rest of the slot: up to you, none of it can improve stealth so this is what i like/generally good item
—----------------------
So with all of that setup, your character on level 12 in Act 3 with the best condition should have:
You are gone, the enemy can’t see you, you will only fail if you roll at least 4 nat 1 in a row ( if my understanding of advantage + lucky is correct ), 0.000625% chance of failing.
It may not be the strongest build, but I feel like it will be super fun just being invisible for 20 turns and having the enemy search for you.
—---------------------------
Thank you for reading until here :D. (Haven’t yet tried this but on paper looks fun hahaha) if someone already created a similar type of build before, or i’m just repeating what already known, so sorry, just wanted to share this with you guys.

2024.05.21 20:44 Arya_W1nningson Need help with drum monitor / PA speaker

Hi all,
So I have a Roland TD-17KVX and I monitor that using Sennheiser HD 280. I have been wanting to buy a speaker for a while now, since my friends and family aren't able to hear anything that I play.
For context, I live in India and import duties result in stupid prices for hobby level equipment.
These are some of the options I was considering -
Drum Monitor: Carlsbro EDA50 (~15k)
Active PA speakers: Gemini Sound As-2108P (13k)
Passive PA Speakers: Ahuja SRM 120 (7k) and Studiomaster GX10 (7k).
As much as I would love, Roland Monitors are way outta budget and India doesn't really have huge music stores where I can walk in and try all of these somehow.
So my question being, what do you guys use, what would be the difference between drum monitors, active and passive PA speakers in terms of sound, Pros and Cons, Things to consider, etc.
Also, is there a cheapebetter-value way of doing this that I have missed?
Thanks!

2024.05.21 20:21 DenseElephant1856 Updates on Turkey - reps

Dear Rep lovers,
I searched many subs and found some discussions about a year ago about reps in Turkey.
The key findings by the previous posts were:
Cons Grand Bazaar is too expensive; you can negotiate the price but it is still too expensive compared to China You can find guys stuff but they are usually on the back rooms The "good stuff" is actually middle to high tier quality compared to our Chinese friends
Pros It may be still worth it to buy bags this way, since the risks of customs seizing your Chinese package is bigger than the risk of customs taking your "used" bag (take all tags, put your thing inside it, like you've owned it for years) out of your hands You have the chance to check the bag live No risk of greenlighting one PSP and getting a totally different bag; no bait and switch You can buy bigger stuff like suitcases with less risk of customs problems
I'm going to Istanbul and Ankara next week and would like to ask if any of you lovely people have any updates on that: Any good sellers (even if only per WhatsApp) found? With fair price? Any tips?
Thank you!!!!

2024.05.21 20:20 Iarefunny Definitive Norsca: Throgg The Troll King Guide (V5.0.3)(L/VH)

Everybody wants Norsca to be relevant and good again. With Epidemus, Tamurkhan, Malakai, Kislev, Thrott the Unclean, Malus Darkblade surrounding you, and the WoC update, a lot of people have complained that the Norsca roster feels slim, bare-bones, and their campaign can feel lackluster. That being said, Norsca has an amazing economy (arguably the best), a solid dependable defensive base in Norsca, the capability for rapid expansion, and strong lords so it definitely DOES have a lot going for it, and Throgg himself can lead an extremely frenzied (or rapid) campaign.
TL;DR of How Throgg and Norsca Work
Pros & Cons:
Will try to only give pros and cons relevant to Throgg's faction rather than the Norsca.
Pros:
Cons:
Early Game:
You do have a bit of a tough initial battle, but you got it for sure. Let your province allow you to recruit 1 more, recruit and move. Ignore Norsca after you get your initial province, go down, take Malakai out ASAP (very achievable, rush his artillery). get Lair of the Trolls, go down and you'll find Kostatlyn and Azazel fighting, with Kostatlyn wounded. In fact, if you offer to join his war against Azazel, he'll most likely agree to be your vassal (happened in 3 out of 3 playthroughs). Don't let him be your vassal, he won't join wars against Katarin and its in your victory condition to crush him. With this, you have Katarin to crush and you can recruit another lord in Norsca to lead your war to confederate the others.
Build infrastructure buildings ASAP. Minor settlements will have growth building + minor military chains + either the income building (only 150g, so not really worth it), or the building that gives you a wizard hero.
If you decide to raise another army, it could be worth it to wait till Throgg minimizes the global recruit time for trolls. You can save loads of turns and cash because you recruit 3 Ice Trolls per turn. Replace Throggs army with Ice Trolls ASAP though, and make sure that its recruited on the east side of your province because thats significantly faster to reach Throgg with than raising at the capital.
Mid Game:
A decision here: Do you continue conquering past Kislev into the Empire and eventually running into the Chaos dwarves? Or do you conquer the entirety of Norsca and go north? It's up to you. You've probably already accomplished your early victory conditions, so it's entirely up to you.
The ideal composition for non-Throgg armies now are LL, 2 Skinwolf Werekin, 1 Fimir Balefiend, and 1 Sorcerer-Shaman, 6 Skin Wolves, Ice Trolls, and maybe 3-4 ranged units (I add them for flavor but you could just have more Ice Trolls or whatever you want here).
Malus Darkblade will be a PROBLEM. Loads of ranged weapons, artillery, and Malus is a tough, tough guy to beat. Sigvald might also have the legendary heroes with him + upwards of 5-6 armies between him and his vassal who attack you from all sides. Sigvald and Malus will 100% get some of your settlements. You can't be everywhere all at once.
Late Game:
Mammoth doomstacks. Raze settlements. Occupy and paint the map. Do whatever you want. You were done with your objectives in the early game, it's entirely up to you what you want to do now. You've also experienced most of the roster, so it's literally just long term objectives for you. I would actually not advise that you play into the late game, because I am almost certain you will find the campaign stale as hell and the god rewards aren't worth grinding out for, especially now that we have Tzeentch and Nurgle factions.

Overall Rating & Review
If you're an old head who's played a ton of Norsca, it be very enjoyable to play Norsca with the new LLs that surround you. If you're new and own WH1, Norsca is a fun faction that you need no DLC for to have everything. There's no time wasted in this campaign, no down time, it ramps up as fast as it burns out.
Definitely a fun change of pace, a straightforward campaign, it's not where we would probably want Norsca as a faction and they would benefit a ton from just a few more units and some end game goals. That being said, I don't think it deserves the amount of hate I see it getting. It's enjoyable.
Final rating:
8/10+ if you're a Norsca fan.
7/10 if you're neutral.
5/10 if you're a difficulty nut.
Also everyone, it's my second time writing a guide or a review for Total War, so if you have any feedback, please do let me know in the comments! I submit my first guide for Nakai over a year ago, and I still get messages in my inbox and on that thread for it which really motivated me to make another guide. I'll be more than happy to get back to anyone if they have any questions, I had a great time playing this campaign and I love this game!

2024.05.21 20:00 Mobile-Worker-5153 Confused: MS CS or MS IS

My background: Tier 2 B.Tech CSE, 7.96 CGPA, 1.5 yoe business analyst
My interests: Cross functional work between multiple tech and business teams, data analysis, business intelligence
Goal jobs: Businesss Intelligence or Tech Product Management
Personal thoughts on MS CS:
Pros:
Cons: - might have to settle for less ranked uni than MS IS due to work background, work exp not transferable to dev jobs - not keen on software development - might be too math intensive for me, not a fan of math
Thoughts on MS IS:
Pros:
Cons: - degree seems to be less favoured by recruiters compared to MS CS - avg starting salary is less than MS CS
Do you guys agree with this assessment?

2024.05.21 19:55 Civil_Assistance6617 Job opportunity

Hi! I am currently 21, second year at college going for my degree in project management (Business). I was given the opportunity to work a remote job as a customer service specialist at a car wash CRM software which pays 70k-90k. I currently work as a CRM specialist and have a year of experience at a car wash, but it is a growing business in which we currently have 4 active stores, opening one in June, and also planning to open at least 50 by 2050. Also to mention, the CRM that I am currently running here is the same as the company that I would be applying to if given the chance. Here some reasons to why I would want to apply and why not:
Pros: •Better flexibility; remote, unlimited PTO (I am a traveling musician as well) •Higher pay (currently at $20/hr, yet in talks for raise) •Grow within the company (They are fairly new and expanding as well.) •High paying job w/o college degree
Cons: •Leaving my current job which I like •Current job is also growing fast, with many job opportunities •Close office (it is nearby, approx 15min away) •Flexible as well (Yet offer no PTO for me at the moment) •Lovely Co-workers •First Remote Job (No Experience working remote) •No college degree (uncertainty of getting accepted in the application).
Please let me know what you guys think!!!!
