I work as a canadian truck driver. My company is requiring me to get a US visa as the majority of the routes go to US. They are ready to give me a reference letter as well for the same. Is it a good reason for the interview?

I thought it might be useful to lay out some of the more credible sounding comments and discussion I've seen around "the end" of Giuseppe's career and his disappearance. Nothing here is "officially verified", but I think there's a fair bit of truth in a lot of the information here, and might help point anyone who's interested in the right direction to a better understanding of his story. I've included the ones that make more sense to me/ reflect my own knowledge of the situation.
Giuseppe was living around Canandaigua, NY towards the end, staying with Mary's parents in her childhood home for a period, after they both had left Austin for unknown reasons. I would imagine the reasons would have likely been mental health and/ or money related for both of them (he was approximately 36 years old, at this point). Mary was still shipping movies out for a while around this time - the last order I placed on the website myself was November of 2014 and ended up emailing back a couple weeks later, because she had never sent me any information about receiving the order / shipping it out, in contrast to all earlier orders I had placed. She replied pretty quick though, and told me she had shipped it out earlier - it arrived about a week after. The return address was her parent's place in upper state NY.
Giuseppe's output got increasingly erratic and bizarre over the next couple years, and I wasn't really sure if half the items he was selling there were even real... they would have completely nonsensical descriptions, often like a free association / shitty "beat poetry" kind of thing, usually in all caps, featuring lots of bizarre and offensive language (racial slurs, AIDS references, etc), and the products listed were often things like a "3 minute DVD" for 20 dollars, so I was pretty skeptical / really didn't have much interest. He'd announce a ridiculous amount of new material, I'm talking like 5 new movies and 5 albums every week... The last order I made was for a few of the Austin films and I really didn't enjoy them, and more or less lost interest in any future projects at this point. I would still check periodically just to see what he was posting to the site, just out of curiosity / because a lot of it was really out there. He used to have audio samples for his "albums", and he almost exclusively was posting CDs of him ranting (with a ton of very weird throat clearing and coughing, it almost seemed like a Tourettes thing). His site went down somewhere between March 23, 2017 and July 3, 2017 according to Internet Archive. I can't remember exactly when he stopped adding new items, but it was probably sometime in early 2017.
He was clearly living in and around Canandaigua for a while, for at least 2-3 years, maybe even longer...
February 2017 - a twitter account called "HELP GIUSEPPE" was created and made three posts:

July 5, 2020 - a YouTube video entitled "What Happened to Giuseppe Andrews? A Short Investigation" is posted, some of the comments that were posted include:

(approx: 2021) I live in a small town called Carlin.. it’s literally 24 miles from Elko Nevada.. back in may of 2019 I was working at a small casino.. Giuseppe would often frequent the casino.. I worked the graveyard shift so it was mostly quiet.. he was polite and even remembered my name and would always ask me how I was.. I was able to get him to take a selfie with him and he even drew some artwork for me.. he told me that I could sell the artwork if I wanted to and fetch a decent price for it.. my husband and I were in the process of buying our first house and I told him no I would frame it and it would be proudly displayed.. he almost started tearing up..I’d happily upload the photo if YouTube would let me..
The same commenter also mentioned, responding to a comment about Detroit Rock City: yeah that was a good movie.. it’s really sad how his life played out.. he told me some sad tales of what he went through

(A reply from another commenter) - I remember he went on a long rant about various people in Hollywood and whatnot. Someone mentioned him having schizophrenia/paranoia, and while I'm in no way a psychologist or medical professional, it did seem like things were getting progressively more bizarre and unhinged. Given how creative and abstract he was when he initially started with his film making and music, I think it masked what was actually going on ( whether it was drug use, the onset of some sort of mental illness, or a mix of the two ). Earlier on he was still eccentric but seemed more lucid and driven with what he was doing.

It would turn out that Andrews also suffers from some very severe issues. Having chatted with his mother Giuseppegirl informed me that he has recently been placed in a mental health facility and has begun a 6 month stint in there where he has no access to the internet or anyone other than family members. He had a break up with his wife Mary Beth, who appears in a lot of his films, so it's possible that this is what put him over the edge. I've talked with Adam Rifkin who says he has some of Giuseppe's rarer films, but hasn't talked with the man for a few years now. That's as far as I have gotten in the rabbit hole.

The last video of him I saw was a crazed rant of him yelling about censorship of art. He was real angry and cursing in a vlog style video. I think some people were criticizing him for use of racist language in his films I’m not exactly sure but I saw snippets of his rant and then the video was taken down a month later along with everything else.

After his California days he spent a few years around Austin making films that mostly just starred himself and his wife Mary. Some of these are really good but his minimalism and experimentation are pushed to the limits here. Some are absolute garbage. After this there was a short stint in upstate New York with this same kind of limited style. Shortly into this cycle things for weird then he disappeared. Right before he disappeared he was posting a lot of troublesome content and releasing TONS of music and films with nonsensical names like "fffff" which would be followed up with "fffffffff". I haven't seen any of this stuff.

Has anyone else stumbled across any comments out there, that support this general narrative / add additional context, or perhaps give reason to believe something a bit different? In particular, towards the end with his site and the long drawn out "spoken word albums" / posts he would make? I listened to some of the audio samples when they were on the site years ago and some of it was unbelievably weird, like he was in a totally dissociated state, talking to people who weren't actually there. There were a couple specific celebrities he was "talking to" quite often, John Frustiante was one for sure, and another guitar player from a relatively small band I can't remember now (I looked them up at the time and thought it was particularly weird, as they were like a small time college rock band who had broken up years prior).
One thing I do remember quite distinctly was I was quite surprised when a shot of Giuseppe on a playground with a man and woman in upper state NY was posted to Instagram, a short while after his website went down. If I remember correctly, they were musicians and the caption said something to the effect that he was helping them film a video. At this point I thought he was more or less completely out of it based on what he'd been posting to his website, so I was really surprised that he had connected with some strangers to actually do something like that, but I don't believe there was ever any follow up posts. I haven't been able to find that post since, if anyone ever remembers seeing that, and who the couple were that would be unbelievably helpful to me!
From the bits and pieces that have come out, I feel like I can stitch together a bit of an understanding of how things might have gone down over the last decade, but a lot is still very speculative to an extent. I'm really curious if anyone out there can corroborate some of these stories in any way, or add any additional information!

What I'd love to see or am otherwise fine with:

• Slow-burn romance. Open to virtually any genre and any time period
  
• At least one of the two people being mildly tortured by their love/attraction to the other person. Not literally, but like maybe they dwell on it obsessively, or they're conflicted, or they simultaneously hate them or something. Just something interesting!
  
• Unconventional couples, or couples with some kind of unique power dynamic thing going. Ex: Alien + fbi agent. Master of house + servant. Android + person. Two vampires. Etc.
  

What I'd like to avoid:

• Bad prose
  
• Modern stories in modern scenarios, with modern, ordinary couples
  
• Anything that reminds you even remotely of Colleen Hoover or Hallmark
  
• Any form of a love triangle, unless it's insanely well-written

I'm sure everyone who knows the background details of Daemon's character, George RR Martin is a giant fangirl of his character. He proceeds to wank him all over the book of F&B, gives him the best death in all of ASOIAF, then has all 4 of his kids survive the war, two become kings, one continues the line of the Velaryons, and the other becomes the last dragonrider. He then writes a bunch of fanfiction about his kid's wacky adventures post-war.
We know Daemon's acts before the war, he spends his youth sleeping and having intercourse with almost any girl he can get his hands on in Kings Landing, its stated he preferred the youngest and purest of maidens, liking to deflower them. He groomed his niece Rhaenyra and if Mushroom is to be believed, was having intercourse with her when she was 15, he was 31. His 1st wife Rhea mysteriously dies in the Vale and then he tries to claim her seat and lands, gets rejected by Jeyne Arryn. He runs off and has kids with Laena for a few years, comes back, its rumored him Laena and Rhaenyra were in a 3 way relationship. Laena dies from childbirth complications and he carries her back to bed, 1 of his few good moments. Ok so then he immediately beds Rhaenyra, we are told they married quickly possibly because she was pregnant, marrying against Viserys wishes.
As for the actual war, once he hears of Lucerys death, he sends a raven to Rhaenyra saying "A son for a Son, Lucerys shall be avenged." He sends word to Mysaria to hire assassins, with the instructions for them what to do, the killers commit Blood & Cheese, I've shared what I believe happened to Cheese already, Blood gets caught at the gate and tells he was going to bring the head to Daemon. The book never goes on to tell us how anyone villainized Daemon for this, or that anyone even cared besides the Brackens & Targtowers. Daemon then goes on to groom 16 year old Nettles into a relationship with him when he is 48 years old. He continues to groom her and eventually beds her, Rhaenyra is told Nettles is pregnant with his child, and she rages, wants the girl dead. Daemon disgusted by the letter when told, spends 1 more night with Nettles, then sends her away the next morning, which we are to believe is his 2nd good deed, even though like this was his fault for putting her in this situation. Anyway, he goes to Harrenhal, waits for 13 days for Aemond, Aemond shows up and they fight and he defies gravity and he has to sacrifice himself to take down Aemond and Vhagar.
I've summarized most of the key details of Daemon's life as written in F&B, so I was wondering, why does everyone think George loves Daemon so much, what of his character does he see that makes him so grey and not an outright black hearted sociopath that most fans or readers believe he is?
Why do you think the maesters are drooling over him when describing him in the text?
Do you believe the text is biased towards Daemon Targaryen? Do you think this bias would be different if one of Aegon II's children had continued the Targaryen line instead of Daemon's?
Lastly, why do you believe the text never refers to Daemon as a kinslayer?

Hi, I moved out of a rented property in September 2022. The landlord has just sent a message requesting that we pay a bill of £500 for communal hot water costs - we thought we’d paid all outstanding bills.
The property was a leasehold flat in England, with communal hot water that was billed by the management agent. Our tenancy agreement stated that we were responsible for covering the utilities including hot water. When we moved into the property we never signed a contract for the communal hot water. All of the bills were issued to the landlord c/o ourselves. We paid all of the bills that we received.
In April 2022, we received a letter from the management agent stating that they were increasing the charges on the hot water. These charges were to be applied from 3rd March 2022 - 31st March 2023. The management agent said after this the charges would be recalculated thereafter. It was a bit questionable that they increased this retrospectively for the month of March 2022, but the management agent didn't understand our concerns. From this date we received bills at the new rate and paid them every quarter.
In September 2022, when moving out we received a bill from the landlord that he referred to as “final heating bill”. This bill was also charged at the rate we were informed about in April.
We thought this was the end of everything. However, today we have received a message from the landlord asking us to pay £500 covering the cost of how water from 3rd March 2022 to when we moved out. We had already paid this bill. It seems that after we moved out and paid the final bill, the management agent decided to re-review the heat rates for the period 3rd March 2022 - 31st March 2023, and increase the rates again. The bill we have had from the landlord covers the difference in cost of the new rates and the rates we were informed about.
We’re told the management agent has tried to contact us about this a few times, but we’ve received no contact from them - they had our emails as we can still login to the account. They have now given us until 23rd May to pay this bill - this seems unfair for such a large amount.
Where do we stand with this legally? It seems very dubious that they can change the rate of the heat energy after we have consumed it. As we did not sign a heat supply agreement, is it the landlord, who is the leaseholder, that is responsible for these charges? The tenancy agreement states that we are responsible, but the landlord also told us this was the final bill.

I'm an adult disabled child and have had a representative payee until the beginning of this year. Currently living in Montana but unable to receive the level of assistance I require from local groups due to the age and jurisdiction. This is regarding misappropriation of funds and identity theft with one of my previous payees from 2017-2021. As an adult disabled child with a representative payee I was informed that I could have no direct access to any form of money myself both by SSA when I received my award and by both of the representative payees I previously had. They would either give me cash without me having knowledge of available balance or directly give me a credit or debit card with instructions on what I was authorized to purchase that I would then surrender once I returned. Sometime during 2017 I made my then girlfriend Jennifer Jackson my payee. She recommended building credit for me and I authorized her to open two credit accounts on my behalf which she would manage with my social Security funds. The two accounts were PayPal and Capital One. The only updates that I ever received were verbal confirmation that they were paid and at some time in 2018 or early 2019 she showed me a printout of my credit report which listed my credit as over 700. Approximately 2-21, I was experiencing a panic attack and mental disturbance while being harassed by Miss Jackson while she was driving my vehicle. I wanted to go home. She refused and continued to harass me while attempting to force me to contact associates about procuring opioids for her because she was in withdrawals. I struck her twice in the arm. At that time she took me home. The police were called and I was arrested. A restraining order was placed in which she told the judge that she was completely dependent on my home, my vehicles and my income as her only form of support. This was unfactual as she also received roughly the same amount as me in SSI whereas I receive SSDI, and all bills were split between her myself my father and my stepmother. Each of our shares were approximately $350 a month as can be attested to on the financial reports supplied to social Security and the Georgia welfare programs. I was not allowed access to any monies from social Security from that date until my father was made my payee approx 7-22. I had no access to my family lawyer for several months due to this. Upon release I discovered that she had sold the vehicle that she was awarded use of by the restraining order. Her ex husband informed me of this via Facebook messenger which I received upon release. During the conversation to him I threatened legal repercussions and asked him to talk to her regarding where my car was and the money she had received and was arrested for harassment/stalking. The beginning of this year I was awarded control of my own finances for the first time. Upon doing so I discovered a total of three items in collections on my credit report totaling approximately $2,600. Portfolio recovery services (Capital One): $694 Midland credit management (Synchrony Bank): $1028 LVNV Funding LLC (Credit One Bank): $880 They will be removed from my report approximately the beginning of 2026. I am unsure how much money she collected on my behalf as social Security has been extremely difficult to work with me in any way regarding this matter. The original SSA office I spoke to, Barrow County, informed me that because we "lived together as man and wife" that she had full rights to any SSA funds even though we were not married and she was my payee. Several organizations have expressed outrage at the "blunt lie" of that statement as Georgia has not have any form of common law in many many years. I have spoken with social Security Representatives regarding this since I moved to Montana and was informed that it was at minimum inappropriate but likely illegal for her to attain credit on my behalf even with my knowledge as she was only authorized to manage social Security funds. This is a drastically different statement from when I was first awarded disability with a payee. I have also filed 2 reports with social Security regarding the misappropriation of funds but have thus far gotten no response. The first verbally when I was released from prison approximately 7-22 in person at the Barrow county social Security office. The second at the behest of my therapist, local social workers, and Disability Rights Montana was filed electronically approximately 2 months ago. I have contacted the Barrow county Police and filed a report. I have also contacted the three credit reporting agencies about this but no changes were made except to update with "customer disputes: meets Fair Credit reporting standards". I added a consumer statement to explain the situation of the debt reflected on my credit report as well. My previous lawyer, Macklin Smith (Deceased), informed me that any contact with her would likely end with more charges even if it was a lawsuit(because of the previous contact with her ex husband regarding the car and money and threat of lawsuit) and advised me to wait until the restraining order had expired to proceed. I would be satisfied with these items removed from my credit history. If the only way to do that is through civil or criminal litigation then I am comfortable doing so now that the restraining order is expired. I have sent letters to both the original creditors and the collection agencies that has since acquired the debt as well stating the same information as this post and stating that it is not an admission of debt ownership or permission to contact me regarding collections. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Sorry if this is a bit disjointed and long, there's a TL;DR at the end. I just had my LEEP on Thursday and wanted to share my experience. Hopefully this soothes a fellow over-thinker.
Background: 30 yr old female, 130 lbs, 5'2". No moderate, severe or chronic health conditions.
I was diagnosed with high-risk (HR) HPV with LSIL/abnormal cells in February of this year. Not 16/18, but another HR strain. I got at least one shot of the HPV vaccine before I turned 26 so I was really shocked at this. I had a complete emotional breakdown because of the connection to HPV and cervical cancer, plus I just felt....dirty. I've gone through my sexually active years without getting as much as a yeast infection, and now I had just been hit with an STI, and the one that causes cancer. I went into a pretty deep depression and honestly I'm still in that depression zone but not nearly as much. I did a ton of research and my findings told me that even if it was cancer, it's one of the most curable ones especially given my age, health, etc.
My primary doctor referred me to a gyno's office connected to the hospital I go to, and I scheduled an appointment for March 1st. Gyno (who was actually not an OBGYN but an APRN/midwife?) basically did a slightly more advanced exam/questionnaire then I got another referral to an actual OBGYN for a colposcopy and scheduled it for April 1st. I thought I would have the colpo/biopsy with the APRN during my March appointment but I guess that's just a "yeah your primary is right you need a colpo" step. Idk, very confusing.
April 1st comes, the doctor that was available for that date (I wanted to get this done asap) had some less than favorable reviews on the internet so that made me a little uneasy. Between each appointment I was spending hours researching, redditing, googling, youtubing etc. so I wouldn't go into this completely ignorant and hopefully minimize the chance of any BS being pulled.
My doctor was, to my surprise, very chill, professional and knowledgeable. Took time to answer all my questions, we even had some laughs. Please ladies, find a doctor that makes you feel comfortable if you can. No question is a silly question and no doctor or nurse should make you feel like you're stupid for raising concerns or asking a lot of questions. If you feel something is off or a doc is being an a-hole, that's your sign to GTFO and find another doctor. Pleasant staff make this experience so much better.
The colpo: wasn't that bad. They crack you open like a pistachio with a speculum (like they would use for pap smear) and take a look at your cervix with this scope. A vinegar solution is applied to highlight the abnormal cells. My doc's colpo machine did have a screen that could show me what he was seeing, although it wasn't working and honestly I'm glad. I think seeing what was going on inside of me would make me worry more. So I just had to take my doctor's word for it when he said the area of abnormal cells was small.
I had a punch biopsy done during my colpo and oh man. It hurt. I wasn't instructed to take ibuprofen beforehand. I'm not sure if they didn't think I would need a biopsy or what but holy crap. 2 samples were taken, at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock on my cervix, and I received a curettage as well. The curettage didn't hurt or was minor in comparison to the biopsy. After the biopsy, a "liquid bandage" was applied, this bandage is called Monsel's solution I believe. It's a mustard yellow paste.
The biopsy caused immediate moderate cramping and pain. The "6 o'clock" one, which was a larger sample, made me flinch and let out a little yelp. 6 o'clock hurt a lot. I will say that my doctor talked about what he was going to do before doing or as he was doing it so it's not like I was taken entirely by surprise. However, you don't realize how sensitive your cervix is until a chunk is taken from it.
After the biopsy, I felt this dull pain, nausea and cramping and apparently had excessive bleeding. Dribbles of blood were present on the procedure chair and floor, some of which had been cleaned up by the nurse/assistant prior to me sitting up so who knows how much was there. Doc confirmed this excessive bleeding in my after visit summary, but it wasn't so much so that it warranted some kind of emergency. I experienced some spotting for about 2 to 3 days after. I expected more blood in my pads but that never happened. I think seeing all this blood, knowing where it came from and why it was there made me even more nauseous.
The nausea and...weakness after the biopsy really had me messed up. I could barely focus as my doctor went into detail about what to possibly expect afterwards, what he saw (he even drew a little picture of my cervix), answered any questions I had. We said our goodbyes, I got dressed and made a mad dash to the waiting area's water cooler. I figured some cool water would calm my nerves and my stomach. I stupidly walked home after the procedure (I live in Chicago, very close to my doc's office). Nothing terrible happened but in hindsight, what if I passed out in the office, in the street? If you can ladies, have someone with you to get you home safely and for support. Or, at the very least, take an uber after.
After getting home I checked my pad, everything was good although I did have some "coffee grounds" in my pad from the Monsel's solution. The doc warned me about this and to expect it for a few days. I crashed on my couch for a little nap before going to a concert later that evening because I don't know how to take a day off.
The next month following my biopsy was largely uneventful, I did have intercourse about 2.5 weeks post-biopsy with no issues or pain, although the thought of infection and the whole process made it hard to enjoy sex (I healed up just fine so this was more unnecessary worrying). I didn't experience any pain, fever, or excessive bleeding, only some mild discomfort/cramping/lethargy (likely due to mentally stressing myself out) on day 2. I did however, experience one moment that freaked me out:
Day 3 post-biopsy: I got home from after work (my job requires me to be on my feet most of the day) and felt something in my vagina. It felt like a freshly inserted, regular sized tampon. I went to the bathroom, washed my hands and reached down to feel something coming out of me. Something was crowning and breaching my labial gates. I reached back down and slowly pulled out whatever object was in me. It felt like a horror movie. I knew I had inserted nothing.
Based on the feeling of said object, I thought my cervix was falling out of my body. I started panicking a bit. Panicking intensified after pulling out this...sac.
It looked alien. It was this membrane sac, about the size of a pitted date when rolled up. Within the sac contained those "coffee grounds." I knew it was the Monsel's solution and likely I had shed the liquid bandage. That logical thought didn't stop me from freaking out and gently wrapping my alien sac Starbucks trash baby in a piece of toilet paper and further sealing this HPV caused abomination into a Ziploc bag. My plan was to run to the ER and show them the freak I had given birth to.
Problem is, I had just lost my is insurance and was in process of getting a new plan, so a costly trip to the ER, waiting for hours for them to likely tell me I'm a panicky idiot wasn't really in the cards. So what does any overly anxious patient do? Turn to Dr. Google of course! I found a couple of reddit posts from women who had experienced the same thing but there wasn't much information on what had just slithered out of me. I found one of those "pay $5 for any kind of advice: legal, medical etc! Chat with an expert today!" sites that seemed legit enough. I got in chat with a doc quickly after some AI pre-chat prompts and he confirmed my suspicions: it was the Monsel's solution that I had expelled from my body. I was told this wasn't unusual and so long as I don't have an excessive bleeding, fever, pain, blah blah, I should be fine.
And I was fine. If you experience this and don't have any accompanying complications, you should be fine too. It is weird when it happens though.
My results came back about 2 weeks later. What was initially thought to be LSIL turned out to be HSIL/CIN-III, and my OBGYN told me I needed a LEEP sooner than later. My appointment was scheduled for next month and I still didn't have insurance. These month long waits between appointments were anxiety ridden depression fests, fueled by junk food and further exacerbated by internet research. The LEEP posts on Reddit had me so concerned, I reached out to my doctor to see if I could be put under general anesthesia for my LEEP, instead of receiving local anesthesia. Women on here described LEEPs as painful and traumatic. Just awful stuff. If you're reading this you've likely read those too. They described leg shaking after the shots, crying, etc. My doctor left me a detailed voice message and responded to my concerns with: "most women tolerate it well but if you're uncomfortable we'll send you to the hospital and put you under monitored sedation/anesthesia." I was still worried but was willing to see how I felt after local anesthesia. I was pleased he was open to working with me and my comfort level.
Fast forward to Wednesday last week:
The night before my LEEP, I got maybe an hour of sleep. I couldn't turn my mind off. My heart started racing an hour before my procedure and I had weird heart palpitations/irregular heart beat. I showered to calm myself down and be clean for my appointment, took 600 mg of ibuprofen as instructed, then headed out. Got a little snack from Starbucks (croissant for before since I was walking to my doc and some madeleines for after to help offset some potential nausea). For my LEEP I wore a big comfy sweater, some "period" leggings (leggings that aren't too tight and I don't care if they get blood on them) and brought a pad with me just in case. They should provide one for you but I'd rather be prepared. Got to the office, checked in, did the pregnancy urine test, got called in quickly, went through the whole height/weight/med history routine. About 5 mins later I sat down in my OBGYN's office. He described the lab findings (CIN-III), detailed the procedure, the tools and supplies they would use, aftercare and answered any questions I had. He then led me into a procedure room (pretty sure it was the same one I had my bloody biopsy in). I got undressed from the waist down like a pap, sat in the procedure chair, draped a little paper blanket over my bare bits and waited. The doctor came in with his nurse and went to work.
They again cracked me open with a speculum, this time it was rubberized on some parts. This is so your vagina doesn't get fried from the electrical current, otherwise your pubes and vulva will look like Marv in Home Alone. They also slapped a little rubber pad on my thigh to "ground" me like I'm some kind heavy duty machinery. Colpo machine comes forward so the doc can zoom in on your cervix. He applied 2 types of solution if I recall correctly: the normal vinegar solution to highlight abnormal cells and an iodine solution to highlight normal cells. Someone can correct me if that's wrong. The solutions and their uses were the least of my concerns.
He then went in with 4 lidocaine injections to numb the area, total of about 1 ml of lido I think. He used a very small needle and upon insertion, it felt like a little pinch. Now, for those afraid of needles, it is a long ish needle but the actual poke is minimal. Although some women report that the inject was the worst part. That was not the case here but the visual can be a bit alarming. After the first injection, I didn't feel the other 3. I felt comfortable going forward with the procedure, and my doc kept checking in with me to make sure I was ok. I did feel an increase in my heart rate post-lidocaine, but it wasn't concerning. I wasn't sure if this was from the "holy shit he's about to start zapping" or as a side effect of the lidocaine. Regardless, my heart rate came back down to a reasonable level given the circumstances in a few minutes. I was actually so comfortable at this point, I managed to relax my asscheeks after they were clamped together like a vise grip from the moment my derriere hit the chair.
I'm not really sure what happened after the injections, I knew he was using the LEEP machine but I don't know how long that lasted and when the wound was being created vs. cauterized as I didn't feel anything except some mild cramping/discomfort. I didn't flinch like I did with the biopsy. When the doc was finished, he applied a little bit of Monsel's, described how much he removed, went over aftercare again, we said our thank yous and goodbyes. I got dressed and went on my way, snacking on my madeleines on my way home (I walked again lol). I felt well post-procedure and even stopped at Target to do some shopping and smell some summer collection candles. I did feel myself bleeding but when I got home and checked the pad, there was a minimal amount of blood. Some women here have reported a distinct burning smell during their LEEP, I didn't smell anything but I also have sinus issues soooo maybe I just didn't pick up on it? My appointment was at 9 a.m. and I was out by 9:32.
When I got home I had some orange juice, water then slept for about 8 to 9 hours. I did have little cry sessions here and there after my procedure. But I was also sleep deprived and know I tend to get emotional. Regardless, take some time off after a LEEP, stay home around your own germs if possible. Get some of your favorite snacks, a face mask and a Nintendo switch or something. This is a good time for some self-care and rest, girlies.
Friday, day after LEEP: no bleeding, minor cramping/discomfort.
Saturday: Usual morning pee met with some blood in the toilet paper. Nothing in my pad though. Throughout the day I slept on and off, I've been more tired than usual. My body and mind has gone through some shit so I'm not mad at myself for being sleepy. I did experience some heavier bleeding throughout the day that was mostly dark colored. The blood level was about the same if not less than what I'd experience with a period. No unusual smell. I did shed the liquid bandage. Did have some mild cramping at certain points during the day but not debilitating or worth taking ibuprofen over.
Sunday: Energy levels finally back up to something normal, don't feel as tired. Still bleeding dark red blood/brown discharge but it's minor. Ran some errands today, I figured gravity would cause me to bleed more but it's about the same as yesterday if not less.
If there's interest, I'll check in at maybe the 2 week and 4 week mark, or whenever I remember since this is my throwaway account.
Overall the LEEP was way better than the biopsy in my experience. Reddit had me freaking out. I know I'm lucky, and this post isn't to dismiss any terrible or painful experience other women have had. I want to share my 'positive' experience, since most of my mental state surrounding my diagnosis, fears, the upgrade from LSIL to HSIL, has been negative.
Oh and I did get insurance literally a week before my LEEP, thank God.

TL;DR: -Colpo: easy -Biopsy: sucks. Most pain I've ever felt and felt nauseous/uneasy after. Ask your doctor if you can take ibuprofen prior to a biopsy. Monsel's solution/liquid bandaid came out in sac-like alien baby about 36 to 48 hours later. Was able to have intercourse 2-2.5 weeks post-biopsy. No insertion of anything for about 3 days after. -LEEP: easy-ish? 600 mg ibuprofen 1 hour before procedure. Anxiety inducing but once I was numbed with local anesthesia, I felt nothing except some mild cramping. The injection didn't hurt and caused no serious side effects. No smell. No excessive bleeding. Felt fine post-LEEP but did experience some bleeding. It's been less than a week so I'll update if anything spooky happens, if no updates then expect everything went fine. No intercourse/tampons/etc for 3 to 6 weeks.
Tips: -Prioritize self care throughout this experience especially. It'll help you stay calm and heal. -Dress comfy for procedures -Take some snacks and water to your appointments for post-procedure ick -Do your research. Knowledge is power even if it makes you uncomfortable. Youtube was a great resource for me, I like to see what's going to happen before it does. Just try not to get worked up like I did. -Ask questions. If a doctor makes you feel stupid, see another doctor if possible. -Have someone with you for support and to make sure you get home ok -If you experience fever, intense pain, soaking through pads, or notice any weird smell: GO TO A DOCTOR

You guessed it right my online test for that particular University went great but I f-ked up in my university interview still after the interview I clammed myself somehow and forgot that it ever happened I listened to a random subliminal after that lol but somehow with low score and everything I got into that university
After everything I totally forgot about this top University and I prepared for other colleges and kept myself occupied with tests and work (and to my shock I got in all of them) fast forward to the next month I got my results which were very important for my university and bank loan, My exams went really bad because of family problems and I lost my motivation to study even knowing it was important still I couldn't focus but somehow without any prior studying or guidance I manage to pass in all my subject (which was still good cz I thought I'll fail) but I had failed in an additional subject which doesn't gets counted while calculating my overall percentage as it was additional so I was saved by an inch one thing I realised is I had put all my attention, thoughts, listening to subliminal and scripting while desiring my perfect grades but back of my mind it always hit me they my exams weren't good I had a 44 subliminals in my exam success playlist which idk is the reason that I got lesser than what I desired my marks to be. At the end everything worked out anyway and the bank nor the university stopped me due to my marks lol
Now here comes my another problem after receiving my offer letter I saw the fees and no way I could afford that but I always went to sleep thinking it happened and I'm in front of my dream university standing there admiring it and soon after a month a distinct relative of mine called my dad and told him he will fund my living expenses and everything I was over the moon to hear that (we aren't really close but that relative of mine still wanted to help to his own willingness) and after that I applied for a loan to cover my college fees and here you would need connections with the bank employees to get your process done fast or it would take upto a month to get approved (I had already emailed the university admission council to extend my fees deadline so I needed that money badly) but idk how an old friend of my mom got in contact with her and told us he could help me with that he had alot of connections in the bank which made the process fast. Also in my college process I just listened to one subliminal and that too I haven't consistently give it a thought or attention Maybe that's the reason why I got into that prestigious university.
I still don't exactly know what I did wrong while manifesting my exam desired marks a little guidance on this would be helpful for me to work on what really went bad from my side.

I loaded up TLOU2 again after years. It was controversial when it first came out for story and narrative reasons. Personally I’d forgotten how truly excellent the gameplay, atmosphere and area designs are. I find the characters well crafted. The violence is also ultra realistic and brutal.
On the whole, I find the game to have a very sad and melancholic aura. It makes me feel sad in a way I find hard to explain, sort of like saudade. It’s the whole post apocalyptic ambience combined with references of a world which doesn’t exist anymore through letters and messages. Also the lives of people living there now could be cut down at any moment which adds to the aura. Any one else feel like this from playing the game?

Allow me to lay the fkd context. This info may answer questions you may need answered before you are able to appropriately navigate my salvation.
One ridiculous hypothetical scenario: RN is off duty, out w/ friends, EMS called > Narcan WRONGFULLY admin > occurs in TN, the same state in which she is currently employed; Is licensed in MS (a Compact State). No arrest, No charges. A PD report stating suspected OD. Sent to ER; No tox screen; Requests discharge; END OF EVENT.
The RN's position of the "facts" : There was no OD, regardless of who called 911 or what they may have thought or stated to get an ambulance there. There is NO evidence of intoxication, as their physical status could have been attributed to countless a diagnosis. States she was coherent and talking with the EMT prior to the Narcan admin; claims she verbally made EMT aware Narcan is contraindicated to a CONSCIOUS person, as she was NOT on any substance that would indicate the need of Naloxone/Narcan. Herself, being an RN, was qualified to make an informed decision. EMT administered anyway, RN stated that there was ZERO improvement in her condition, as she knew there would not be.
This may have been a decent argument, easy enough to explain to the TN Board of Nursing, who called upon RN for a Disciplinary Hearing- Privilege to Practice in jeopardy. HOWEVER, when the RN returned from a travel contract job out of state to her home, she found the letter informing her of this hearing ON THE DAY IT WAS SCHEDULED. She drove like a bat out of hell to TN BON; She arrived only 15 min after 5pm that day. She stayed the night in a hotel, where the next a.m. she was told TOO LATE. FINAL ORDER. By being absent, she forfeited her right to be heard/defend herself and the order has already been filed. But, not to worry terribly, bc she only lost her Privilege to Practice in TN, nothing had happened to her actual Nursing license.
FF to MS BON Hearing.... Not bc they heard or knew anything about EMS or ODosing- BC they were notified when she lost her priv to practice in a diff state. So, another hearing. RN goes to this one- She gives her defense. She was a nervous fkn mess, but in the end the MSBON orders: her to pay a fine, do some classes, some mental/phys eval, etc... ton of stuff that cost a ton of money. This hearing took place over ZOOM in the SLAM BAM middle of the COVID quarantine.
She didnt do it. ANy of it. So, of course, when they go to eval it a year later, she repsnded talking w/ them a few times about deadlines, extra time, ect- they dont budge, instead, slap her w/ another displ action: FRAUD. (Bc she agreed to do all that stuff by a certain date and didnt).
Short version/TLDR: Rn got wrongfully narcanned by EMS; lost priv to prac in a state bc she missed hearing; her home state board of nursing does a discplnry action on her due to loss of priv to prac- orders her to do a bunch of crap she didnt do in time, slap her w/ another discp action (fraud) for it. now, its been 3 years and she wants to get this shit straight.
The official standing of her license does NOT say REVOKED, it says, " ADMIN INACTIVE" & "Suspended"
Is it administratively eligible (by NPA laws) to do the things she was ordered to do and request new hearing? Past appeal date, any way circt court might just hear all this and order reinstatement, overriding the MSBONs final orders? (that ever happen to anyone successfully?)
fix the TN priv. to prac revoke before fixing MSBON licensure? or does that matter, procedurally?

How do I become a perfusionist?
To become a practicing perfusionist in the United States, you must become a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP). This credential is governed by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) and is awarded after passing two board examinations: the Perfusion Basic Science Examination (PBSE) and the Clinical Applications in Perfusion Examination (CAPE).
Qualification to sit for the board exams is achieved by completing a certified program. The accrediting body for programs is the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and a current list of programs may be found by going to this page, selecting “Profession” and choosing “Perfusion.” Unfortunately, this does not include programs that are defunct or programs that are undergoing the preliminary accreditation process. All schools require an undergraduate degree before entry regardless of outcome: degree or certificate.

Is it competitive?
The application process is extremely competitive. Schools are typically receiving several hundred applications and most take 20 or fewer students.
When does the application cycle begin?
The application cycle is different for each school, but typically start as early as June 1 for start dates the following year.
That means that for the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year, applications will begin opening on June 1, 2024.
When do applications close?
Again, each program will be different. Some programs close earlier than others. Some programs have processes that take awhile to complete, so it is advisable to complete your application before the process closes.
Which school should I apply to?
You should apply to every school you're qualified for.
What prerequisites are required for perfusion school?
Each of the programs have different requirements. Contacting each of the programs with program specific questions is going to result in much more accurate answers than asking here. Programs can and do change requirements on an ongoing basis.
Nearly all programs require at least a documented conversation with a perfusionist or shadowing a case as part of the application process.
How do I find a perfusionist to shadow?
LinkedIn is your best resource. You may also post a request for a specific geographical area using the flair “Shadow Request.” You can also try contacting hospitals that do open heart surgery and arranging to shadow a perfusionist.
What kind of work experience is useful when applying to perfusion school?
Perfusion assistant jobs are sometimes referred to as a “golden ticket” for admission to a school. Many schools seem to value healthcare experience, through what type varies from school to school. Traditionally, RNs with critical care or operating room experience and respiratory techs seem to have a high degree of success. Other perfusion / OR adjacent jobs like anesthesia techs also seem to correlate with higher acceptance rates. As the application process becomes more competitive, it may be worth reaching out to current students to see what class make ups look like or Program Directors to see what advice they may give. Unfortunately, the application process is a “black box” and each institution has different qualities, traits, and experience they seem to value.
What are my chances of getting into School X? / Should I apply this year or wait until I have more experience?
No one knows. Your chances of getting into a school that you haven't applied to are zero. Contact the program for specific questions and guidance about your situation. The application process is a "black box" process with only the Program Directors and Admissions Council Members knowing how they work and what they are looking for in the current cohort. If you have specific questions about feedback you have received, feel free to ask them. Generic "what if" questions have a low likelihood of being approved in this subreddit.

I have knowledge in business consulting, and I promise you that a business owner would be a MUCH more lucrative mark than a low-income college student.

MY REBUTTAL TO THE OBLIGATORY “IS THIS A SCAM?” QUESTION:
At the risk of sounding arrogant, I consider myself to be at least marginally more intelligent (both academically & socially) than the average person. Therefore, if I ever decided to suddenly risk prison time, risk my reputation, and risk enduring the wrath of modern-day “cancel culture” by scamming people out of their money:

• I certainly wouldn’t do it for such paltry amounts of money. (i.e., anything less than $1,000 per victim.)
• I certainly wouldn’t choose high school & college students as my “target audience” to scam, considering that most people without college degrees have abysmally low annual incomes. Why choose low-income victims when it would be much more profitable to target high-income, high-net-worth individuals earning at least six figures a year? I have knowledge in business consulting, and I promise you that a business owner would be a MUCH more lucrative mark than a low-income college student.
• I wouldn’t choose such a time & energy-draining method of scamming people. Also, communicating back and forth with potential clients is an absurdly long time sink since only less than 10% of all potential clients who reach out to me actually become paying clients of mine. This means that 90% of my time communicating with potential clients ultimately proves to be a colossal waste of my irretrievable time & energy.
• If you pay me to provide academic services and I don’t deliver, you can always dispute the payment with the payment app and easily get your money refunded. If I were in the habit of swindling money from people, then all of my payment accounts would have been investigated and be completely shut down by now. And I would have been permanently banned from opening new accounts. Therefore, the fact that all my payment apps have been fully active for years should be sufficient proof that I haven’t had people consistently disputing payments sent to me.

I was accepted as a transfer for fall 2024 after getting a 3.5 GPA in fall 2023 but in the spring I got a 3.29 GPA (brought my overall GPA down to a 3.4). My letter of acceptance says my admission offer is contingent on my grades remaining the same or better. I haven't sent out my spring semester transcript. How likely am I to have my offer of admission revoked because my GPA decreased?
I know I'm probably overthinking, but I'm super nervous about this. I'm a biological sciences with human biology concentration major.

Hello everyone, My STEM OPT ends on June 20, 2024, and I have applied to a program at the University of the Cumberlands that begins classes on July 1, 2024. I'm currently waiting for my admission letter. My question is, can I join the program despite the gap between the end of my STEM OPT and the class's start date?

I scored 91.4 percentile in JEE MAINS in first attempt (CRL 1248XX) but my category rank is below 1500 (Due to reservation(ST)) .I was a regular school going student I was just preparing for BOARDS and school exams in class11th and 12th.
In class12 I pretty much only solved NCERT and BOARDS related reference books for PCM nothing more. In MAINS I was able to solve to chemistry and physics mainly 12th class part.(92 percentile in *PHYSICS*(was able to solve formula based questions and integer questions), 78 percentile in* chemistry *(Was able to solve mostly organic and physical chem. part of class12) and 82percentile in*MATH .But in math I was only able to solve only three questions (rest were just some random clicks). In CBSC board I scored 82%*aggregated*(66/80 *MATH, 54/70 *PHYSICS*, 52/70*CHEMISTRY*). In class 11th most of the things I just mug up in physics and chemistry and in math I used to solve NCERT and boards related book.
My parents were OK if I take admission in a private engineering college. They just want me to prepare for any government exam. But due to my score in JEE they want me to take admission in any top tier government college as the fees is comparatively less than private and better opportunities. But I am concerned that I will not be able to perform well academically in a top tier collage as I was not preparing for JEE or any competitive exam. And I have heard due to bad academic performance I have to drop out college and I won't be able to learn any skill as I have to focus more on college academics.
In this situation what should I do and what college should I take. Will be grateful seeking your help.

I know this has very likely happened to other people, but I haven't heard any stories so I'm wondering how common it is for people to get all the way to assessment and then told no- a couple of years ago (when I was about 16, I think) my psychologist referred me for an autism assessment via the NHS because a lot of my experiences seemed to match up with the diagnosis. she had to fight repeatedly for the referral to even go through, because it kept 'getting lost', but eventually I got an appointment
aaaand it didn't go great. it felt like they kind of disregarded what I was telling them about my internal experiences in favour of what they were seeing- for example, I told them that I have a system for making eye contact because I want other people to know I'm paying attention to them but find it incredibly uncomfortable, and they wrote down that I have 'no issues with eye contact'.
in the end, the nurse came round to my house and told me that I'm not autistic because (paraphrasing) I'm very imaginative and I genuinely care about other people. when I brought up that after stressful experiences or too much conversation I go non-speaking, she said 'well, selective mutism is common in people with anxiety' and recommended I try meditation. she was really nice about it, but I just felt so dismissed by the whole thing
anyway, I'm now on the waiting list for a private assessment, and I'm hoping it'll go better, but I'm still really nervous that I'll come across as 'too socially adept' or something. if anyone else has similar experiences I'd really appreciate hearing about it :)
