Need a Chicago City Sticker; technically not yet the owner

2024.05.17 23:19 __chrd__ Need a Chicago City Sticker; technically not yet the owner

I think I know the answer to the question I’m about to ask but maybe I’m wrong.
In short, can I buy a city sticker for a car whose two registered owners are recently deceased and whose address is out in the NW suburbs?
I’ll take a stab at it and say no, lol.
Quick details: - Both parents died a few months apart just recently - Multiple assets going to probate - We’re the executors and will have Letters of office in a few weeks. We’re also the only beneficiaries. - Their car is registered out in the suburbs currently and to them. - Recently renewed and received newer style license plates and stickers expiring next year. - Have the title and docs in hand. - I do own an insurance policy on the vehicle previously as I drove it 75% of the time. Then things happened too fast to change it.
We have a dog, and my parent’s have a dog, so now we have two dogs. I need to frequently commute back and forth almost daily and unfortunately only their car fits both 85lb golden retriever sisters. Car stays on the street every night and days I’m not out there. No sticker required in the suburb. Obviously no Chicago sticker either.
I’m fine if tickets accumulate but will buy a sticker if allowed right now. Otherwise I’d assume I’d have to wait until the asset gets distributed to me (by me, lol) bc of probate.
Any ideas?

2024.05.16 17:28 Ok_Lake_1234 Green card received! Sept '23 filer

First of all, I want to thank
CodingOnCaffeine
for their post. I cannot comment anymore but it was super helpful. Make sure to check it out as it is very comprehensive. I pretty much submitted everything they mentioned. We applied in NY for a marriage based green card in Sept 2023 (sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox). We got married in August 2023 and had been together for 4 years. I (Beneficiary) came to study to the US from Mexico in 2020 on a student visa and was on OPT STEM when applying. My husband (Petitioner) is an American citizen.
Checking the timeline on USCIS wasn't dependable as it would change from a 4 month wait to 2 months and then 4 again. We would also check this website and we could see who was getting approved and when they had applied. We tried not to check every day as we realized it caused us a lot of anxiety. What ultimately helped us was contacting our Senator and within a month we received the approval notice (no RFE and no interview). We received approval on April 25th '24 and the physical card on May 6th '24 (9 month wait total).
Here's what we included in our package:
1. G-1145 (also included one with each form)
2. I-130 (husband petitioning for me) a)Cover letter b) Check c) 2 Passport photos (husband) Form I-130 Form I-130a a) Copy of Petitioner's (husband) birth certificate b) Copy of P's passport c) Copy Marriage certificate d) Relationship statement f) Third-party affidavits from family/friends (5) g) Copy current joint lease h) Copy previous joint leases i) Evidence of joint checking and savings accounts j) P's investment account's beneficiary k) Copy of joint car insurance l) Copy of Beneficiary's (wife) emergency contact from employer m) Copy of B's individual statement account n) Joint travel documents o) Phone records p) Venmo transactions q) Splitwise transactions r) PPT of photos s) Whatsapp conversations t) Wedding caterer invoice
3. Form I-485 a) Cover letter b) Check (I-485 and biometrics services fee) c) 2 Passport photos (wife) Form I-485 a) Copy of B's (wife) passport and visa b) Copy of expired passport with previous visas c) Copy of B's birth certificate (with official English translation) d) Copy of B's most recent I-94 record and visa entry stamp e) Marriage certificate f) Copy of B's current EAD g) Copy of B's offer letter from current employer h) Copy of B's current and previous I-20 forms Form I-864 a) Copy of P's previous W-2s b) Copy of P's federal taxes (2 years) c) Explanations of P's lack of federal tax returns in 2020 (while a student) d) Copy of P's offer letter from current employer e) Copy of P's pay slips from previous employer f) Copy of P's offer letter from previous employer g) Copy of P's birth certificate as proof of US citizenship h) Copy of first page of P's passport as proof of US citizenship i) Copy of B's pay slips (3 months) j) Copy of B's W-2 k) Copy of B's 1040
4. Form I-765 (employment authorization - just in case green card didn't arrive on time - STEM OPT expiration date was Sept '24) a) Copy of most recent I-94 record and visa entry stamp b) Copy of passport and visa pages c) Copy of F1-OPT STEM EAD card
5. Form I-693 (medical examination and vax record)
Make sure to keep a copy of everything and keep it as orderly as possible. From what I've read this helps with the process in general and in case you get a RFE. I read as much as I could online and watched Youtube videos explaining how to fill out each form. I also kept a Google sheet where I could track everything and add helpful links. You need a lot of time to check and re-check everything, get translations notarized, get affidavits, etc. so give yourself plenty of time. As stressful as the whole thing was, I enjoyed going back to our relationship and revisiting old photos and messages. Reading affidavits from our close ones also made me tear up. I do feel like I aged 10 years during the process and had a lot of anxiety so know that you're not alone! I will try to answer questions but I am not a lawyer and did the whole process w/o one, again - just reading online and getting information from USCIS.gov.

2024.05.16 15:14 Flat-Pie-6002 Ex-wife passed away, no will, apparently beneficiary to life insurance and retirement is our minor son.

My ex-wife passed away in 2022 in Illinois. Apparently there is no will (according to ex-sister in law). We have a minor son, who now lives with me in Texas. My ex has a sister and mother as next of kin. A month after my ex passed away, her mother also passed away. My ex-sister in law sent me a letter last month saying that her mother was the beneficiary for her retirement fund, but she passed away before claiming it. She says my son is now supposed to be the beneficiary. She provided me with a Decedent Pin and Beneficiary Pin. I don't know how much money is in the retirement fund.
My ex-sister in law also informed me of information to my ex's life insurance. She says my son is the beneficiary to the life insurance. She's also asking for money. I did not know anything about these accounts until 1 month ago and my ex passed away 2 years ago. I never received any official documents.
A few questions:
  1. Is becoming executor of estate and obtaining the retirement fund for my son (as his guardian and father) somthing I can do relatively easily without a lawyer? Should I just get a probate lawyer to take care of it? I understand some of the basics but it seems like a lot.
  2. Whats a ball park rate to hire a lawyer for this
  3. Why is my son the beneficiary, and not my ex-sister in law?
  4. Does any of this sound fishy? It does to me since its been 2 years and I never received any official documents. If its all true I'm guessing my ex-sister in law tried to get the life insurance and retirement but wasn't able to so she contacted me.

2024.05.16 14:31 RainOrShine699 Sister Problem: Grave

So, my sister moved out to Utah to go to college. She ended up getting married and has three kids. Great kids. Good husband. The problem isn't distance. It's that she doesn't call my mother or return her phone calls very often. Like hardly. There has never been abuse or anything that would justify it. It's the same with me. I don't even really care about her calling me or want to call her. Her kids matter more to me than her. What's the problem: well, my mom is very depressed about it. And naturally. It's always "I'm busy" excuse...always gaslighting. She has time to be on social media and is all cozy with her family out there. I know being right there with them, you're going to have more contact with them, but little contact with your mother is unnatural. Here's how Mothers Day present went: sister sends my mom some picture frames for pictures of the kids. Doesn't send any pictures! "I have to go to Walmart," she told my mom. Like where you got the frames or you couldn't have just gone there if you're going to go through the trouble of sending frames for pics of grandchildren?
Well, my mom finally wrote her a letter. Gaslighting. Well, I'm trying to keep it brief. So my mom told her in a text message, after many BS reasons for not calling back, etc., she told my sister: "I'm done with you. Enjoy your life." Not quite disowned, but eight hours and she hadn't returned a text. Imagine your spouse says that. If you value your marriage, you're going to reply to that as soon as you see it.
Here comes the part where I think my sister needs to get serious, because if it did happen, she'll have blood on her hands. My mom says last night, "If it wasn't wrong, I would kill myself." So now, we're talking suicide...the level the doctors say is a cry for help...serious...SUICIDE.
I think I have to tell my sister. If this doesn't change things, I think...well. The problem is there has never been any signs of narcissism in my sister. I went through the DSM. Not one of the requirements met. I'm not going to call and tell her. Why? I don't want to have a gaslighting conversation with her, with excuses and all that. Text may seem the wrong way to go, but it just allows me to say it and then her to think. She might respond with a gaslight, but there's no game like in an actual conversation. It's basically, "Hey, I told you plain and simple, and if you don't understand that.....
Well, the suicide. It's serious. I mean, I can't just have the police come and take her to the hospital. There has to be an immediate threat for that, not just talk of it.
And one more thing. So my mom goes out there. She said my sister said they were going to do stuff. My mom said she just sat in the basement where the bedroom was on her phone. When she mentioned this to my sister, my sister said it was her fault for not coming up or something like that. My sister was watching re-runs of Grey's Anatomy. I think it is the HOST'S job to invite the guest to do things, not the guest's. I mean that seems the logic to me about that situation.
Well, my mom is removing her as power of attorney. She was going to split the house value when she dies. Now she's changing the will to where she doesn't get half. My mom says she gets nothing. She was never a beneficiary of the life insurance. My father died and the money I was supposed to get (he'd saved. It was 50k) went to her. He didn't know he was going to die prematurely. She and her husband needed some help with a downpayment. I mean it's only money, but that's why she's not on the life insurance. She got her cut, her husband makes pretty good money anyway....but power of attorney and half the house, gone. Which I think is just fine. Not because I want all of those financial benefits, but because it's just. She has a five bedroom house...you get the idea. Geez, you watch your father removed from life support....have to visit him in a coma and never talk to him again...you know you say stuff, but....now imagine you had to see your father comatose in a burn unit and then you have your mother kill herself.
It will be blood on her hands, and I don't know what I will do. I don't think she'll do it, but that she mentioned it, there's a problem. I'm just thinking of the right way to say it. Naturally, you want to be very angry. But, it's better to make it firm, but not too harsh.

2024.05.15 20:01 papertrainpants I am the beneficiary to a policy I was unaware of.

My mother briefly married a man in 2002, and she passed away the same year. My stepfather entered me in to foster care and I havent seen or heard from him since. In 2022 he passed away, unbeknownst to me. Yesterday I received a letter prompting me to send in relevant documents to make my claim as the sole beneficiary to the policy. I had a legal name change at the time of my adoption, even my middle name. How did the insurance company find my current name and address? And how do I prove my name change if the company somehow already knew?

2024.05.15 01:04 Flat-Pie-6002 Illinois Probate / life insurance questions

1) Is becoming executor of estate and obtaining the retirement fund for my son (as his guardian and father) somthing I can do relatively easily without a lawyer? Should I just get a probate lawyer to take care of it? I understand some of the basics but it seems like a lot.
2) Whats a ball park rate to hire a lawyer for this
3) Why is my son the beneficiary, and not my ex-sister in law?
4) Does any of this sound fishy? It does to me since its been 2 years and I never received any official documents. If its all true I'm guessing my ex-sister in law tried to get the life insurance and retirement but wasn't able to so she contacted me.

2024.05.13 19:33 Several_Bag_1770 Am I doing enough?

Hi all! I think I am just looking for mostly reassurance at this point regarding taking care of my grandma. Here is my situation (buckle up, this is a long one):
I was estranged from my biological father and his family from my teen years until about 2 years ago. Long story short, my parents got divorced when I was 2, my mom moved me out of state when she married my stepfather and I spent every summer in childhood visiting my father's family. For context, I am the only child of my father (my mom had other children from a later marriage, my half siblings, my father never had any more kids). Around my teen years, those visits stopped and I just kept in contact with my biological grandmother on my dad's side through the occasional letters over the years. I have a lot of resentment toward my parents for their poor decision making and how it's affected so much of how I act in my relationships as an adult. I have sought out therapy and am doing my best to recover.
In May of 2022, I received a phone call from my paternal grandma (who was 97 at the time), which was so unusual and very nerve-wracking because she never called me, we only communicated through letters. She told me that my father was very sick but couldn't give me many details. She was very hard of hearing and knew nothing about his illness except that it was a "blood disease." My father had been divorced 3 times and after the 3rd one, he moved in with my grandma and they were great friends. I think it was a good arrangement for them both. After that phone call, I did a lot of thinking and soul searching and decided that I should visit my father.
My husband (who never met this side of my family) and I visited my father and grandma later that month. I was shocked at their condition. My father never got up from his chair and looked so frail and sick. My grandma was actually in better health than him despite her age, but she still obviously couldn't care for him in his sickness. She could barely get up from her chair and was very unsteady walking around. I tried to get details from my father about his health but he was confused and unable to tell me anything concrete. But he did tell me that hospice was coming to see him the next day. So we came back the next day to be there when the hospice intake nurse came. He was even more confused the next day, couldn't spell his middle name or answer questions clearly. I did my best to answer questions (even though I barely knew him since we had been estranged for so long) and provided my phone number as a contact for them. It was all incredibly overwhelming. That meeting ended with my father wanting a little more time to think about it before being officially admitted to hospice. My husband and I went back home and I was overwhelmed about everything.
A few days later, I got a phone call from hospice. My father had reached a point where he was incontinent and belligerent and my grandma called the phone number on the card the hospice worker had left from her visit because she was desperate for help. I was suddenly thrust into a situation of trying to make decisions for a man I barely knew states away. It was obvious my 97 year old grandmother could no longer care for him at home, so he was taken to the hospital. I was able to talk with his doctor over the phone who told me that he had leukemia. The treatment he had been receiving was not working and he estimated that my father had 6 weeks to live. He would be admitted to an inpatient hospice facility until he died. I barely was able to process that because there was another huge issue: who is going to look after my grandma after he dies?
(A little more family background here: my father has an older brother who lives out of state. The two brothers never got along and from what I hear, my uncle had the tendency to rub people the wrong way. My uncle only communicated with his mother - my grandma - through the occasional birthday and Christmas card. That uncle has 2 kids, my cousins, who live in the same state as my uncle. The older cousin calls my grandma once in a while. My grandma has distant relatives who live about 45 minutes away and visit very occasionally.)
My husband and I talked a lot and I decided that I needed to go and stay with my grandma while my dad was in hospice. I was able to work remotely and so was my husband, so we made the drive back to my grandma's house and stayed with her, taking her to visit my dad every day, cooking, cleaning, etc.
My dad died on May 31, 2022, only about a week after he was admitted to hospice. I handled all the logistics and planning of the funeral. My grandma, who was totally competent mentally, was stone cold deaf and emotionally unable to handle any of it, so I was left to do everything, despite barely knowing him and not really having the chance to process my own very complicated grief at losing an estranged parent. Fortunately he had the wisdom to take out a life insurance policy years before with me as the beneficiary and I was able to pay for the funeral with that money.
And instead of his death being the end of something, it was the beginning of the most stressful time in my adult life. I spent day and night looking into care options for my grandma. We finally got her some hearing aides (something my father never thought to do for her I guess) and I spent hours on the internet, researching what is covered by Medicare, if she was eligible for Medicaid, etc. I called her state's agency for aging, multiple home health aide companies, the works. We had to go back to our home state to resume our lives, and all the while, my mental energy was spent on worrying about her and running through every option for care over and over again.
And here we are, TWO YEARS LATER. My grandma is now 99 years old at the end of this month. In May of last year, my husband very unexpectedly and heartbreakingly lost his job of 12 years. After that happened, we decided it was time to pick up our lives and move in with my grandma. While we were living in our state and she alone in hers after my dad died, I called her pretty much every day to check on her. I was constantly anxious and on edge. We visited her as much as we could but it is a long drive and we couldn't always put our lives on hold to visit her.
We moved in in December. And it has absolutely been one of the hardest times of my life. My husband and I are in dire straits financially (he is still struggling to find consistent work and my work is seasonal, we're just getting into my busy season but honestly, I don't make a lot of money). My grandma can still barely hear with her hearing aides in so I always have to raise my voice to talk to her and repeat myself multiple times. I spend hours of my time taking her to doctor's appointments (which is not an easy feat because she is wheelchair bound outside of the home), on the phone with doctors, picking up medicine, etc. I feel constant pressure to make sure she cared for. Overall she is a pleasant person but she is also a master of Italian Catholic guilt and passive aggressiveness. There is no one else to help us. I feel like I am slowly dying inside little by little every day.
So if you've made it this far, here is where I am looking for reassurance. We have to go back to our home state multiple times this summer for family obligations and my work (I am a wedding photographer and contracted to photograph weddings this summer back home). For example, at the end of May, we have to be gone for over 2 weeks to go to multiple graduations of nieces and nephews, open houses, etc. And I feel extremely guilty for leaving.
Here is more about my grandma and her current status for context:
Here are the things we have set in place to help care for her in our absence:
So my question is this: is this enough? Can I leave her and not feel guilty? I've spent countless hours and tears struggling with this question.
(Thank you to all of you who read all this and my prayers are with you on your own caregiving journeys!)

2024.05.13 19:12 nemanja_jovic Packer: Help with building Windows 11 image with vsphere-iso builder

Hello community,
I have been struggling to build the Windows 11 image on VMware, some help would be greatly appreciated.
I was able to configure HCL/Packer when it comes to VMware configuration (mostly I hope).
At the moment, Windows 11 gets provisioned until the moment that system boots with the Windows OS screen, and then it hangs, I believe that WinRM is not properly started via the XML answer file. I can confirm that answer file works because Windows settings for the setup are processed and Windows installation finishes.
Also, I could not use the floppy drive, since its not supported with UEFI and TPM, so I am mapping the VMware tools from the datastore, and will include in the answer file the part to install the tools - my doubt is, is the WinRM even started if the Packer can't connect with the IP?
I am having trouble to understand how to troubleshoot the answer file, its really cumbersome.
My packer console says waiting for the IP.
Any suggestions are very welcome, thanksss!
Here's my packer configuration file:

2024.05.13 16:21 Several_Bag_1770 Am I doing enough?

Hi all! I think I am just looking for mostly reassurance at this point.

She is perfectly coherent mentally. Totally capable of taking her own medicine (which is not too much considering her age).

She has a shower aide come once a week to help her in the shower. She has a walk in shower with a chair and extendable shower head. She also had handles on the toilet we recently installed. She dresses herself every day.

She is unsteady on her feet but relies on her walker in the house. She is good about using it and doesn't go without it.

She still cooks a little, uses the stove to boil vegetables, etc. Uses the microwave for her instant coffee, soups and TV dinners. I cook dinners regularly and she will often eat what I make.

She has Medicare and supplemental insurance. She is not eligible for Medicaid. She owns her house outright and has about $60,000 in savings. She is unwilling to pay for private home health aides to come in our absence and unfortunately, my husband and I cannot afford them.

She was on hospice care after my dad died. Her PCP knew the situation, that she would be alone, so she referred to us to hospice so she would at least have a nurse check on her once a week. It was extremely hard to get her admitted and she was able to stay on their service up until a few weeks ago, when they booted her because she is not deteriorating. I understand that hospice is for end of life care and just because someone is 99 it doesn't mean they automatically qualify. But it's a little scary losing that safety net.

I tried to enroll her in VA benefits because her husband was a veteran. They denied her because she makes too much in social security every month.

She hates being alone and has brought up multiple times how worried she is to be alone while we're gone.

Here are the things we have set in place to help care for her in our absence:

We have one camera set up in the living room where she spends most of her time. Only my husband and I can access the camera remotely via our phones when needed to check on her. I am going to talk to her about installing 2 more, one in the kitchen and one in her bedroom.

She has a Life Alert that she wears around her neck. She very good about wearing it all the time.

Her shower aide will be here once a week.

She has 2 neighbors who are great about checking in on her when needed. They both have keys to the house. I also have a group text of a handful of people in the area she is friends with who have keys to the house and can come over in an emergency. I am going to text everyone to let them know the dates we will be gone and ask them to call and check on her regularly.

So my question is this: is this enough? Can I leave her and not feel guilty? I've spent countless hours and tears struggling with this question.
(Thank you to all of you who read all this and my prayers are with you on your own caregiving journeys!)

submitted by Several_Bag_1770 to CaregiverSupport [link] [comments]

I am next of kin legally and also would like to state for the record that me and my father had an excellent relationship. She never mentioned the policy to us or wrote down on her form that my father (did not) have children which it clearly asks and instead sent the form as if she was his only relative.
The company found out that I existed only because I am the informant on his death certificate and has asked if I wish to make a claim. I contacted my aunt about this and she has doubled down and said that my father would have wanted her and her alone to receive this large sum of money and has told me not to put in a claim.
I am putting in a claim regardless and told her this and it has caused a huge rift with her family. So much so that a cousin contacted me and said that my dad would be ashamed of me for putting in a claim and then went on to attack my autistic 24 year old brother, telling him that my father would have been ashamed of him because he was unable to carry his coffin at the funeral.
It just seems that this has gotten completely out of hand and I along with my brother are being attacked over money. Surely the company wouldn’t have contacted us if it were his wishes to give her 100%.
(Edit: I also forgot to mention that my aunt said she received an email from my dad’s workplace saying it was his wishes to gift this money to her and she had a signed document from him saying this, but when I asked her if I could see the document she sent me a blank template of wishes from the company website which had no writing on it, no expression of wishes and no signature from my dad which is confusing.
We also told her that we may not receive anything in the final decision which we are fine with, but it potentially could be split even between me, my younger brother and her. She wasn’t happy to even consider it going three ways either. And that is where the abuse began from that side of the family.)
I just don’t know and this has been keeping me up at night with stress. AITA?
UPDATE: I phoned the company this morning and they have NO RECORD of an expression of wishes that my father wrote. Only that she was next of kin at his workplace. So she not only lied that it was my dad’s wishes for her to have this money, but she also lied that she received an email from the company stating this. The woman on the phone said you are his daughter, you have a right to make a claim. And also to tell my brother to put his claim in which he will be doing now.
ADDITIONAL INFO FROM OOP
1.

Her daughter sent my brother vile voice notes telling him that my dad would be ashamed of him because he couldn’t carry the coffin due to his autism, that he is lazy and should get a job when he can’t work and that he is a thief. It has made my brother so distraught that he is refusing to put a claim in as he thinks my father hated him when this is not true.
My dad loved the bones off my brother. Those words never left his mouth. All lies.
My dad may not be here to protect him but I am, and I’ll always protect him.

2.

My brother received an apology tonight from this vile cousin. She said she couldn’t sleep, eat or go into her work as she has been sobbing about the disgusting things she said to him. Not that this makes a difference. What she said about that beautiful boy is unforgivable.
To target her own autistic cousin about things out of his control is insane.
My father took care and adored that boy from the moment he was born until he took his last breath. I have blocked this side of the family and will never speak to them again.
I will be contacting the company again on Monday and will ask if they have a copy of these supposed wishes. I have also filled out my claim and posted it today, so hopefully I have more answers soon.

RELEVANT COMMENTS
Forward-Wear7913

NTA
It’s just ridiculous that your aunt thinks she should get the money instead of her brother’s children.
Did your father have a will and an executor?
I would be worried that she’s also getting her hands on other property that doesn’t belong to her

OOP

I’m glad I’m not crazy for thinking the same thing.
No my father didn’t leave a will as he said to me a couple of months before he passed that everything would be going to me and my brother anyway. Obviously he didn’t plan for this chaos to follow. I’m currently in the process of becoming executor of the estate and all details are already with a solicitor. I am in Scotland, so the process takes a while.
However this death benefit falls outside the lines of his estate and is classed as a separate benefit altogether. I have been informed by one of his good friends and work mates that workmen at the site my dad was employed at were trying to find beneficiaries as they didn’t have a note of one which makes me think that she has been lying.
I have sent across an email to his employment asking for documentation of these supposed wishes he had filled out. Hopefully I hear more on Monday as probably won’t get a reply on a weekend.

Update Apr 29, 2024
I just thought I would post an update to the absolute hell that me and my brother have been put through in regards to my late father’s death benefit.
I phoned the company today and they have told me that my father had NO expression of wishes form. So not only did my aunt lie about being the beneficiary on his expression of wishes form, but she also just blatantly lied about even receiving an email with these details. They do not exist. She was only listed as a next of kin through his work, not as a beneficiary. She is not entitled to a thing as she claimed she was, and so the hurt and confusion both me and my brother have suffered was for nothing.
I don’t understand how our own family could put us through this, but people are right when they say snakes come out of the woodwork when a death happens in the family.
My brother was not going to put in a claim but now he is. I hope she feels the guilt ripping through her not only for this, but for the disgusting things her daughter said to my autistic brother.
RELEVANT COMMENTS
mustang19671967

Remember a lawyer is your friend if you need help I’m in a different country so our laws are different

OOP

The laws are different here in Scotland. I am executor of his estate but this death benefit falls outwith this, so it is up to the company to deal with claims and split benefits. A lawyer wouldn’t touch this, not that we need one now that we are aware of the truth.

IceBlue

If you’re the executor why couldn’t you get into his house when your aunt could? You should sue to get the items back or the value of the items if she sold them.

OOP

I could get into his house but I have my own house. I let her stay in his house as a kind gesture so she could stay the night in preparation for the funeral. And then when we went in a month later to sort some of his things, that’s when we realised what had been taken.
We did pull her up about it and she was crying down the phone saying she just wanted to keep things for her brother’s memory. So I left it at that, even though I knew it was wrong somehow I felt guilty. And now I realise she has been manipulative from the start.

~
Whose_my_daddy

I’m so sorry you have such disgusting family. Cut them off, even get restraining orders if necessary. Be sure the rest of the family knows what they did. Just curious: there’s no hint of foul play, is there?

OOP

I’ve cut ties with them all. The only decent one out of the bunch is her son/my older cousin who has been nothing but respectful and is also horrified at what she’s done. No definitely not, unfortunately my dad was ill with diabetes for a few years then got the flu while at work and it caused his heart to stop while in hospital receiving treatment. No foul play, just a horrible illness that stole him from us.

ADDITIONAL INFO ON THE AUNT

My aunt also went into my dad’s house as she was staying in there for the funeral before travelling home again. But in that short space of time, she had taken several money boxes he had used for spare change. We don’t even know how much were in them, but they were STACKED with change. She took his guitar, his amp, his kitchen knives, his iPad and one of his leather jackets that my brother wanted to keep.
We couldn’t even enter the house to look at anything never mind take things. It was only a month after the funeral that we were able to go in the house and see what had been taken without permission. She has been horrible since the start.
I’m sorry to hear about your grandfather, families can be ruthless.

&

We cancelled his bank card the day he died, however I know when we were visiting him in hospital she had his wallet and gave it to me. When he was still alive on a ventilator she told us we should take his card to use for fuel payments for going back and forth to hospital.
We obviously DID NOT do this especially since he was dying and could not consent. She gave me the wallet that day. Once I am executor, I will be seeing if she used his card in the days leading up to his passing and I will be filing a police report if there are any charges to the card in the period she had hold of it.

FINAL COMMENT FROM OOP ON THE SITUATION

They are already blocked.
2024.05.13 04:30 RmJ106 What are the SSA rules regarding checking account confiscations upon death for those who owe overpayments?

How far can the SSA go when it comes to confiscating funds from a private checking account of a former SSI recipient after their passing? This is not in relation to me. An extended family member owes well over $20K in overpayments to the government. It goes back to them being stupid and trying to save for a few years in violation of the $2K a month asset rule for those on SSI. They have mental issues (schizophrenia for decades and possibly dementia now), have been unproductive for all of their life and have made some of the stupidest decisions of any person I have ever seen in my entire life. They ended up on SSI because they didn't have enough work credits and probably worked all of a few years in their entire life, so they didn't even have 1/4th of the credits needed to retire. They don't want to put a beneficiary on their checking account, have no advance directive (hence the reason why we want them to put someone as a beneficiary), don't want to pre-pay for any type of funerary arrangements so as to not be a burden on family and they're just a big freaking mess. They're nearly 90 and because of their stupid decision of insisting that they can "save whatever they want" regardless of what the SSA rules are, the SSA cut off their SSI, Medicare and Medicaid. They had over $40K in their checking account last year and they have blown it down to about $23K this year by giving most of it to their youngest adult child who refuses to work for a living and is an addict. Said relative also lied blatantly on the phone to SSA reps when they called, lied about former marriages/length of time and dates, claimed to have not known where a life insurance policy from one of their children came from (which again deposited over $35K into their account last year on top of the thousands they were already saving in violation of the $2K asset limit). The SSA sent them a letter saying they wanted nearly $23K back in overpayments for the months that they were over the asset limit over the past x years. They refuse to pay them. Since one of their adult kids is taking care of said family member, this is why we wonder how this will work.
I was hoping that the SSA would just confiscate the money from their checking account or sue for it, but apparently not. This family member isn't in the best of health mentally or physically and is mean as a snake, grudges so many people and even their own daughter can't stand being around them. Yet they live with their daughter, so if something happens to them while living with the daughter, said probate attorney burden (they only own a checking account, no property or vehicles) would be on the daughter in order to get access to the checking account and also to pay for the funerary arrangements. They don't want to designate the daughter or anyone else as POA or payee in any form or fashion. However, I suspect that the SSA would confiscate the entire amount in the checking account up to what is owed. Is my guess for that correct? Tried to help them by getting an elder law attorney and they refused any advance directive. Tried to get them to put a beneficiary on their checking account so that when they pass someone can take care of their affairs, but they don't want that. Their reasoning is that "they're not planning on dying anytime soon" at nearly 90. So what will happen in this scenario? Family just ends up eating the cremation and probate bill for thousands in order to access the checking account that the SSA will probably want to confiscate the entirety of anyway?

submitted by RmJ106 to SocialSecurity [link] [comments]

As the school year winds down, I've seen a lot of posts on several teaching subreddits that essentially have the same sentiment: teachers don't want to renew their contract next year, but aren't sure if it's the right move. While the only person who can truly decide what is right for you is yourself, I just want to share my own personal experience in leaving teaching.
1. How did I quit? I started by calling my union and asking about the contract requirements for quitting. I cannot stress this step enough. Many teachers are afraid of repurcussions like license suspension or even being sued by their school. If you don't have a union, call your HR department and ask them. Follow the steps needed. For me, I had to give a two-weeks notice to my HR department in writing.
2. How did I break it to my admin/team? While ultimately you owe these people nothing (except of course where otherwise required), I did try to leave as few bridges burned as possible. I quit in October, which I knew was putting the team in a rough position, and felt I at least owed it to them to let them know. I sent an email to my admin and team members simply stating that I was resigning, my last day that I'd be working, and assurance that I would continue to do what was needed of me up until that last day.
3. How did I transition to a new job? For a few months, I didn't. I had a decent amount of savings and decided I would take the job hunt seriously after the holidays. I spent October finishing my masters, then November and December traveling, enjoying the company of my friends and family, and reconnecting with my hobbies. I applied to jobs during that time but allowed myself to not feel pressured to find something quickly. I wanted to be sure that the next job I took would be an okay, if not perfect, fit.
Come the new year, I really locked in. I made it my full-time job to job hunt. I'd brew a pot of coffee and apply to various postings for about 6 hours a day. For every single job, I tweaked my resume to include key words from the job post. I had a cover letter template that I could change as needed, too. I did not use AI to write my resume or my cover letter because I had noticed some repeat phrases in writing that totally gave away an AI authorship, and I thought job recruiters would eventually learn to see them, too.
By March, I had a job.
4. What job did I end up getting? I did not say yes to the first job that was offered to me. Like many former teachers, I applied to many curriculum writing and/or instructional support roles, and did turn two down, one because I didn't think the company was a good fit and the other because I didn't think I'd like the day-to-day duties of the job.
When I did accept a job offer, it was to work as the director of a tutoring franchise. Throughout the entire interview process I was treated with respect by the owner of the franchise and felt that the duties and responsibilities would mesh well with my personality. I still get to work with kids sometimes, but I also get to have experience on the business side.
5. Did I take a pay cut? I did take a slight pay cut. However, I earn a bonus that puts me pretty close to what I made as a teacher, and there's no ceiling. So instead of stressing year-to-year over whether or not my gutted union would secure a 1.5% pay raise that in effect means I would make less each year, I can now make more money as I continue to be successful. No benefits, though. I am not married nor do I have children, and I'm in fairly good health, so I pay for insurance out of pocket at a rate that's only $50 more than what was taken out of my paycheck as a teacher. I maintain a private retirement savings account. I'll never see any of the state pension I paid into while I was teaching, but I'll be honest, I think by the time I would had retired I never would've seen any of that money anyway with the way they keep cutting benefits.
6. Are other jobs really that much better than teaching? I'm sure there are plenty of shitty jobs out there, but there are also a lot that are amazing. Even with my pay cut, I love my new job. I am never micromanaged and my success is not dependent on factors outside of my control. I get an uninterrupted lunch, I use the bathroom as much as I want, and I am treated like the adult I am. I'm never overstimulated the way I was while teaching. Never underestimate how valuable quiet work time can be.
7. Do I miss the time off? Hell no. Let's be real; those breaks were never "time off." They were mercy recovery periods. Spending 10 months of the year waiting for the breaks only to sleep through them in the first half and dread going back in the second half is not a break at all. I genuinely enjoy my current job and therefore don't get the Sunday/September scaries anymore.
8. Do I miss teaching? There are moments where I miss that special relationship I had with the kids, yes. In my short time as a teacher, I know that I was that teacher for a lot of kids, the one they'll never forget. A few still email me occassionally. But now that I'm out of the woods and not dealing with any negative experiences, it makes me appreciate the positive ones I had more. Even though I won't have those kinds of experiences again, it doesn't change the ones I've already had. I do miss having an excuse to rap along to StoryBots, though.
9. What are some benefits of quitting that people don't often talk about? Your health will improve, and I don't just mean your mental health. My sleep schedule is now regular, my hair is healthy and shiny, my skin is clear, and I Iost 10 lbs. I don't get hit with as many colds, either. My social life is also a lot more stable.
10. Any other advice? Just remember that if you quit teaching and do end up regretting it, you can always go back. You may have to wait a year depending on your district's rules, but we all know there will always be openings once that waiting period is up.
I know my experience may be irrelevant to most, but I hope this helps even one teacher who may be on the fence. I'm happy to answer any questions.

submitted by pohlarbearpants to TeachersInTransition [link] [comments]

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Introduction
This repository is dedicated to organizing the structure of the utility of Simple Moving Average (SMA) Outfits in public equity markets and controlled system's impact on wealth distribution. Simple Moving Average Outfits are the core operations of the United States Equity Markets' blackbox systems. The following information examines the AI-assisted decision-making processes that effectively create all principal market behaviors. This information details the specific tools utilized by the largest aggressive wealth conglomerates, with sophisticated trading divisions, to provide liquidity, enable domestic and international market efficiency, and function in a manner intended to manipulate the market. It is crucial to recognize that the data presented here directly informs global financial strategies, rewards long-term market participants, and is the fulcrum of the American financial system. This strategic integration ensures that every significant market action is underpinned by data-driven, algorithmically enhanced decision-making, that reflect the sophistication and precision of modern financial engineering.

Overview
SMA outfits fundamentally dictate when and where the largest equity managers direct liquidity, thus operating the flow of capital that shapes the entire market structure. The precision and application of SMA outfits are critical, considering every Stock Market transaction is influenced by these configurations. Clear and actionable signals with incredible precision ensure that all market participants can operate with full awareness of market conditions, which quite literally forge market efficiency.
For those new to financial markets, it is an extreme leap to understand the magnitude of capital that is mobilized through public equity markets. These "outfits" are not optional elements, instead are core components that are what have prompted effective markets since the start of automated quotations in the NASDAQ. This repository should serve to set the stage for layman, academics, mathematicians, quantitative researches, and regulatory bodies to have full unabridged access to the global financial system catalyzed by financiers of the United States of America.

Methodology
This research relies on high-precision data sourced primarily from desktop Lightspeed (brokerage) and Webull platforms, both of which are known for their near-total accuracy in data provision. However, periodic data inconsistencies have been observed with Webull, notably on March 18th, 2024, which involved data discrepancies potentially linked to cache errors. Lightspeed Broker has consistently delivered accurate data barring isolated incidents directly attributed to errors from the NYSE or NASDAQ. To manage and store the extensive volume of historical price action data required for this analysis, InfluxDB was employed due to its robust data handling capabilities. The InfluxDB system was chosen for its efficiency in storing time-series data, allowing for rapid queries and retrieval necessary for the rapid real-time nature of equity market analysis. This setup ensures that all data used is normalized and processed with the highest standards of accuracy, serving as the backbone for all subsequent analytical tasks.
All data handling and trading practices detailed within this research strictly comply with relevant financial regulations and data protection laws, including GDPR, SEC regulations, and other applicable standards, ensuring integrity and legality in all operational aspects.

Data Handling and Analysis Framework
The SMA calculation engine relies on a dual-source input system, incorporating real-time and historical market data from Lightspeed and Webull, two renowned trading platforms known for their precision and reliability in data provision.

Data Sources and Integration

Lightspeed: Known for its robustness and favored by professional traders, Lightspeed provides high-frequency data that includes every trade, quote, and order book change. This data is critical for developing real-time SMA calculations that can respond instantaneously to market movements.

Webull: Offers comprehensive market data that includes not only transactional information but also extensive metadata on trading instruments, which is vital for contextual analysis in SMA calculations.

JSON (JavaScript Object Notation): This format is used for its flexibility and ease of integration with web technologies. JSON structures allow for a detailed representation of nested data, which is particularly useful for encapsulating the various attributes of market data, such as timestamps, prices, volumes, and metadata.

CSV (Comma-Separated Values): This format is employed for its simplicity and efficiency in handling large datasets that are typical in historical data analysis. CSV formats are particularly advantageous for batch processing and long-term historical analysis, where data manipulation and storage efficiency are paramount.

Pre-processing for SMA Calculation Readiness
To maintain the highest standards of data quality and consistency, the following pre-processing steps are implemented:

Data Cleansing: The initial step involves scrubbing the data to remove or correct data anomalies that could skew SMA calculations. This includes:

Removing any records with null or missing values in critical fields such as timestamps or prices.

Identifying and correcting outliers that fall outside of a statistically reasonable range, possibly due to data entry errors or system glitches.

Timestamp Normalization: Given the global nature of financial markets, data from various sources may come with different time zones. All timestamps are converted to a uniform timezone (EST) to maintain consistency across the dataset. Additionally, timestamps are normalized to the highest resolution needed for real-time trading decisions, typically to the millisecond, to ensure precise alignment in time-series analysis.

Filtering Incomplete Data

Entries that do not meet the complete information criteria, such as those missing essential metadata like trade volume or instrument type, are filtered out to ensure the reliability of the SMA outputs. This includes entries with zero, negative, or unrealistically low prices that might indicate data errors or placeholder values used during data entry mishaps.

Data entries that lack timestamp information, which are critical for placing the price in a temporal context are omitted.

Missing crucial metadata like stock ticker symbols, market identifiers, or other descriptors that prevent clear association with specific trading instruments are adjusted.

Sudden spikes or drops in price or volume that do not align with known market behaviors or news events, suggesting potential data errors that deviate significantly from a moving average or median value and do not correlate with market events are omitted.

Data Consistency Checks

Consistency checks are performed to ensure that data across different sources aligns correctly. For example, price data from Lightspeed is cross-verified with Webull data for the same instruments at the same timestamps. Discrepancies are logged and investigated to maintain a high integrity data set.

Identical entries recorded multiple times due to data entry errors or system glitches. These duplicates can artificially inflate the importance of a single data point within the SMA calculation.

Error Handling

Robust error handling mechanisms are built to address data feed interruptions or anomalies dynamically. This includes fallback procedures to retrieve data from alternative sources or to use the last known good data point as a placeholder until the feed is restored.

Data Integration

Data from various sources is integrated into a unified format within a staging area before final storage in InfluxDB. This involves aligning data fields, both harmonizing and isolating data formats, and consolidating records to prepare for efficient querying and analysis.

A SMA calculation engine ensures that the data fed into the system is of the highest quality, providing accurate market analysis. The SMA calculations support both scalability and adaptability for Data Processing.

Data Processing
Data processing is the core operational phase where raw market data is transformed into actionable insights through SMA calculations and trading signal generation. This stage is crucial for implementing trading strategies based on the calculated SMA values.

Computational Algorithms

SMA Calculations: Implement algorithms to calculate Simple Moving Averages over various time windows as specified by the user or system requirements. This involves computing the average of stock prices over a set number of past data points continuously as new data comes in.

Signal Generation: Develop algorithms that analyze SMA lines for typical trading signals such as crossovers. A signal is generated when a short-term SMA crosses above (buy signal) or below (sell signal) a long-term SMA, indicating potential market movements.

Algorithm Complexity: Manage the complexity of these algorithms to handle large datasets without degrading performance, ensuring that calculations can keep pace with real-time data flow.

Performance Optimization

Resource Management: Optimize the use of computational resources to process data efficiently, minimizing latency, which is essential in high-frequency trading environments.

Parallel Processing: Implement parallel processing techniques where feasible, especially for computationally intensive tasks like real-time SMA recalculations across multiple instruments.

Caching Strategies: Utilize advanced caching mechanisms to store interim computational results, reducing redundancy in calculations and speeding up response times for frequently requested data in order to implement real time executions.

Integrating SMA Outfits with OHLC Data
To operationalize SMA outfits effectively, our algorithms integrate cleaned and processed OHLC data to detect specific patterns aligned with predefined SMA configurations. This integration is pivotal for identifying trade opportunities based on real-time market behaviors.

Frequency Detection and Trigger Mechanisms

Frequency Detection: Algorithms scan OHLC data for frequency patterns that align with the SMA outfits, identifying precision trading operations that have a historical repertoire in real time.

Trigger Mechanism: Upon detecting a historically operated pattern, advanced arbitrage outfit detection systems automatically trigger buying and/or selling protocols, executing trades based on precise, real-time analysis of SMA, OHLC, Timeframe data intersections.

By refining computational algorithms and optimizing performance, the data processing stage ensures that trading strategies based on SMA calculations are both reliable and timely, capable of operating effectively in real time market environments.

Background and Research
The exploration of the significance of the integer Three in public equities initiated a year-long academic inquiry, encompassing areas such as quantum mechanics, cryptography, mathematical abstractions, and logic. This journey was informed by the foundational contributions of Alan Turing to current mathematical pedagogy. In the course of this scholarly pursuit, the research encountered the seminal works of Edward Waring and David Hilbert, two mathematicians whose theories have profoundly influenced the field of mathematics and computer science. It was within this context that the researcher discovered the conjecture known as David Hilbert's Waring's Problem.
WARING'S PROBLEM is a profound natural number theory conjecture. In layman terms it explores proof that every number can be broken down into a certain type of smaller number. More importantly, if every number can be expressed using a limited set of patterns. That is where you get the integers 19/37/73/143/279/548 that, for the sake of simplicity apparently are the six integers global wealth operators have elected to use as one of the SMA outfits. This effective research, in conjunction with heuristic (trial based, rule based frameworks) search and brute-force (systematic probing of combinations) application of Waring's Problem integers, evolved into a method of empirical optimization that further refined my investigative approach.
Given my academic background in sociology I wasn't taken aback to learn that the machinations of the U.S. financial project are meant to be complicated. The facade of finance is premised on the reality that the Elite, Capitalist beneficiaries, Public who work to live and contribute to an IRA/Pension/401K/Taxes, and International Subjects rely on this sophisticated system. My research focused immediately on identifying the technical foundation of the public equity markets, recognizing it as a multi-millionaire, multi-billionaire, and multi-trillion dollar economic growth and exploitation project.
Detailed below are the procedures and selection process governed by exceptionally intricate parameters. These parameters, despite their complexity, facilitate straightforward visualization, documentation, and real-time recording. The proof here is what has garnered the public's reception. Public equities are a product of a multidisciplinary combination of data science, software engineering integrating Data Acquisition from real time & historical market data, broker API integration, & real time selections.
There is a more singular breakdown that should be addressed and asserted. Consider the SMA outfits as singular and explicit proof that, backed by ten of thousands of instances of real time data recently made public, under critical scrutiny by agencies of intelligence and regulatory bodies, points to the financial ecosystem plainly reflecting our socio-cultural construct. Consider that any understanding of wealth is tied to symbols and meaning of which we as people imbue in numbers. While the selection of specific SMA parameters may be technically arbitrary, it is the precision and consistency of these chosen configurations that have been proven to facilitate and document substantial wealth transfer via the financial markets. These SMA configurations are chosen by intelligence agencies to add complexity and flexibility, allowing only well-informed and strategic financial firms to benefit significantly and collaboratively.

Technical Explanation
Simple Moving Average (SMA) outfits are sets of predetermined SMAs that institutions with aggressive trading divisions use as triggers for executing trades in high volume liquid trading vehicles (stocks). A Simple Moving Average (SMA) is a technical analysis tool that calculates the average OHLC (open, high, low, close) prices, over a certain number of periods. Each outfit consists of multiple SMAs with different time periods. By employing SMA outfits effectively on multiple vehicles, large financial institutions with aggressive trading divisions maximize on every singular point shift in the public equity markets. Since these institutions manage vast sums of money, their trades move the market in the direction of their trades, effectively redistributing wealth to aggressive trading divisions and eventually long-term market participants.

Parameter Limitation
The parameter set for SMA outfits is strictly maintained between 1 and 999 to preserve these benefits across all trading platforms and scenarios. This boundary not only supports a structured and simplified analysis framework but also ensures that all market participants can engage with the data in a clear and organized manner. Standardizing SMA parameters within this range ensures uniformity across different markets and asset classes, allowing trading divisions and algorithms to apply consistent operations whether trading stocks, forex, cryptocurrencies, or commodities. This uniformity simplifies the development and implementation of automated trading systems, reducing complexity and enhancing reliability. Algorithms from advanced trading divisions benefit from a standardized approach, which supports more straightforward programming, rigorous testing, and effective execution of trading. By avoiding extremes the data remains relevant and actionable without succumbing to redundancy or irrelevance.

Executive Definitions
This section provides detailed definitions of key terms and strategies used in the context of SMA operations and trading algorithms. Understanding these definitions will aid in understanding the behavior of the market as directly influenced by SMA outfits.

Precision Buying Algorithm
A Precision Buying Algorithm is performed by advanced trading systems that leverage both historical market data and real-time conditions, and sophisticated statistical analyses. The primary function of Precision Buying Algorithms are to stimulate capital in and out of the public equity markets by rigorously analyzing patterns and specific price points within Open, High, Low, and Close (OHLC) market data. The core mechanism of these algorithms involves the detection of precise market conditions triggered by specific Simple Moving Average (SMA) outfit selections. This occurs particularly after a market drawdown, where firms with leading algorithm detection tools identify a collaborative and historically relevant arbitrage opportunity. This operation ensures continuity in market conditions that aggressive trading divisions exploit for sustained engagement or the maximization of returns through precisely times intervention. In practice, a precision buying algorithm activates when an arbitrage detection system identifies a precision OHLC relationship within a singular timeframe, singular equity, and singular SMA Outfit that has been historically or statistically significant following an SMA-induced drawdown. This SMA selection serves as a critical signal that conditions are primed for a profitable buying operation. The algorithm then executes buy orders at these meticulously calculated moments from the second of its selection, in order to capitalize on rapid price movement, thus optimizing capital gains. The operational success of these algorithms is fundamentally reliant on extreme liquidity in the vehicle, the system's ability to discern and act upon these finely-tuned market cues, ensuring high precision in the timing and execution of the budgeted selection. This precision in targeting exact price points ensures the reliability of public equity markets. The technical efficacy achieved through precise SMA outfit detection and historical operations ensures that trading division maximize from algorithmic thresholds, not on perceived inefficiencies or unpredictable market sentiments.

Automated Short Orders
An Automated Short Order involves the placement of trades to sell securities that are not currently owned by the seller, but borrowed, with the intention to repurchase shares at a lower price. This trading strategy hinges on the anticipation of a price decline, which is facilitated by the SMA outfits designed to analyze specific OHLC patterns and market indicators that facilitate impending drops in stock prices. Automated Short Orders, or Precision Short Orders, are executed by high-frequency trading programs that capitalize on rapid, real-time market movements. These programs are finely calibrated to detect arbitrage opportunities and are functionally deployed by wealth conglomerates possessing substantial capital. This allows them to effectively manipulate market trends and maximize profits. The initiation of Automated Short Orders are critically dependent on systems interpreting market data, more specifically the SMA outfits, ensuring that trades are placed at the precise moment optimal conditions are detected, thereby enhancing profitability and market influence.

Singular Point Hard Stop Order
A Singular Point Hard Stop Order is a predetermined price level at which a trading position must be closed automatically. The Singular Point Hard Stop Order component is integral to the operation of precision Buying Algorithms and Automated Short Orders. By enforcing the execution of trades with rigorously calculated precision, Singular Point Hard Stop Orders operate to control high volume equity pivots in price action. This action automatically liquidates positions on a singular penny or "point" breach of a Precision Buying Algorithm to facilitate a swift execution of sell orders that maximize on price declines. Singular Point Hard Stop Orders are only operable due to the combination of liquidity in public equity markets and access to darkpool trading. This level of precision enables advanced trading divisions to execute and liquidate orders at the precise moment a singular point of penny breach occurs on a Precision Buying Algorithm or Automated Short Order, optimizing trade execution down to the millisecond.

Dark Pools
Dark Pools are institutional private trading routes that allow institutional trading divisions to access liquidity in order to trade large blocks of securities. Dark Pools or "Dark Assault Routes" preserves trading exposure to the public markets to minimize market impact for large transactions. This specific anonymity provided by Dark Pools allow for extreme discretion for aggressive wealth firms to capitalize on and execute Precision Buying Algorithms, Automated Short Orders, and Singular Point Hard Stop Orders using the SMA outfits. The reduced impact of visible volume in the public markets ensure that significant trades can be executed precisely at singular point or penny entries or breaches without often without immediate impact. Dark Pools inherently obscure specific trading activity; breaches of precision Singular Point Hard Stop Orders are followed by large volume candles as substantial trading decisions have already been executed beyond the typical market view. Detailed examples will follow in subsequent sections, providing explicit demonstrations of market activities and these specific trading mechanisms.

Institutional Hour Session
The Institutional Hour Session is the standard trading hours when major stock exchanges are active, typically between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). During these hours, trading volumes are higher, and the market operates on robust liquidity directly operating by the activities of large financial institutions. Moreover, the closing of the Institutional Hour Session often sets the stage for the Extended Hour Trading Session, where trading continues under different market conditions, typically marked by lower liquidity and higher volatility.

Signal Generation
Signal Generation in trading is the process by which advanced trading systems identify opportunities to buy or sell assets based on specific criteria or patterns derived from market data, more specifically the SMA outfits. This form of signal generation leverages quantitative models that integrates SMA data to fine-tune the timing and accuracy of trades. By focusing on SMA outfits, the signal generation process ensures that all trading actions are precisely aligned with organization, thereby maximizing the efficiency and profitability of trades. This exclusive reliance on SMA-based signal generation highlights its critical role in shaping the financial institution, ensuring that each trading decisions are backed by robust and predictive analytical science.

Data and Analysis
This section details the SMA outfits and associated parameters, covering the wide spectrum of timeframes and leading equities that are essential in the algorithmic precision that collaboratively drive public equity markets.

SMA Outfits Raw Data
Sma Configuration (base fx) Description 10/50/200 S&P 20/100/250 NAS 30/60/90/300/600/900 DJI 33/66/99/333/666/999 AN 11/44/88/111/444/888 AN 22/55/77/222/555/777 AN 19/37/73/143/279/548 Waring's Problem 16/32/64/128/256/512 Base 2/NVDA 27/53/105/210/420/840 (420) TSLA 23/46/91/183/365/730 (365) Time 23/46/92/183/366/732 (366) Time 18/36/72/144/288/576 (144(0) Time 25/51/101/202/404/808 (404) Resource missing 29/57/114/227/455/911 (45) U.S. president seat (23/46/92/184/368/736 (46) U.S. president seat 28/56/112/224/448/896 (56) U.S. speaker of the house seat 28/57/114/228/456/911 (911) World Trade Center homage 16/31/63/125/250/500 (2000) Russia's president seat year 2000

SMA Outfit Timeframes
The SMA calculations are performed over the following timeframes to enable precision complexity during periods of high or low volume and volatility. The specific timeframes include:

Ultra Short-Term: 1T (tick), 1S (second) during extreme high-volume volatility

Sub-Minute: 5s, 15s, 30s

Minute to Hour: 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 10m, 15m, 20m, 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h

Longer Periods: 1D (daily), 1W (weekly), 1M (monthly), 1Q (quarterly)

Monitoring Market Sessions

Institutional vs. Extended Hours: Arbitrage detection systems are meticulously designed to monitor and react to transitions between the SMA Outfit detection to operate on either the institutional trading hour and extended trading hour session. These periods often exhibit different liquidity and volatility characteristics, which impact arbitrage models. The entire framework of U.S. equity markets operates specifically on the precision of these arbitrage detections and the outlined parameters. Any market activity outside of this defined scope is fundamentally based on guessing or unoptimized approaches, not supported by the actual framework of the public equity markets.
A "ticker" or "ticker symbol" is a unique series of letters assigned to a security for trading purposes on stock exchanges. Each ticker symbol represents a specific stock, ETF (Exchange Traded Fund), or other financial instrument and is used by traders and investors to uniquely identify and trade that security. For example, the ticker symbol "SPY" represents the S&P 500 ETF, which tracks the performance of the S&P 500 index, and "MSFT" stands for Microsoft Corporation. Tickers are essential for executing trades on electronic financial markets and are used globally to streamline and standardize the process of buying and selling shares.
These datasets are stored in highly structured formats to facilitate complex statistical analysis, supporting both time-series analyses and real-time manufactured events.
They are typically normalized to ensure accuracy and reliability in statistical modeling and machine learning applications used in predictive analytics and algorithmic trading strategies. Aggressive trading operations are implemented with extremely calculated budgets.
These selections involve multiple simultaneous operations, as wealth entities leverage specific SMA configurations to exploit market efficiencies using singular selections on a singular SMA outfit, singular timeframe, and leading instruments (equities, ETFs, Bonds, Treasuries, indices). It's important to clarify that these operations optimize market efficiencies, NOT market "inefficiencies", a concept often misinterpreted through traditional definitions of arbitrage.
The precision of these SMA Outfits, operating in real time, forge capital flows across the U.S's financial vehicles, including the DXY dollar, volatility indices, individual equities, bonds/treasuries, leading ETFs, and major indices like the NASDAQ, S&P 500, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average, along with their tangential ProShare ETFs. This systematized framework is the foundation of U.S. public equity markets which rely on precision and effectiveness of SMA outfits in exploiting equity movements for profit, both in upward and downward movements at a multitude of frequencies.
The real-time, threaded, sharing of the analysis is proving to be pivotal in demanding transparency of the public equity markets. By openly sharing the operations of Simple Moving Average (SMA) configurations across 44,000 real-time instances, this body of work provides not just snapshots but a continuous, live-streamed narrative detailing how precision moves in the stock market can be mapped and predicted. This extensive evidence serves as direct proof of consistent, measurable mechanics of specific SMA setups operating the entire automated financial landscape.

Documentation

Real Time Operations
This section contains detailed Twitter threads that illustrate various instances of "Precision Buy Algorithms" executed in real-time. These threads provide insights into the specific moments and conditions under which these algorithms are triggered, showcasing their effectiveness in the live market:

Case Study #1: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #2: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #3: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #4: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #5: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #6: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #7: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #8: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #9: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #10: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #11: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #12: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #13: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #14: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #15: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #16: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #17: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

Case Study #18: Precision Buy Algorithm - View Thread

This is a non-exhaustive list of digestible threads published from the researcher publicly documenting arbitrage selections in real time.

Findings and Implications
SMA outfits are used by behemoth financial conglomerates with aggressive trading divisions. By entering or exiting positions at certain precise SMA outfit signals, institutions aim to maximize gains, which contribute directly to wealth generation or preservation within.

How to Use This Repository
This repository provides a detailed examination of Simple Moving Average (SMA) outfits and their role in the real-time coordinated transfer of wealth within public equity markets.

If you're expecting a new addition to your family soon, here's a list of general financial planning items to consider:

Insurance: Make sure you have adequate insurance coverage. This includes health and life insurance. For life insurance, you'll want to look into beneficiary designations and make sure that your coverage is up to date. For health insurance, you’ll need to add your new addition to your policy and review it carefully.

Baby Registry: With all the excitement, your loved ones will likely be looking for ways to help you in the coming months and years. One way to manage their generosity is to set up a baby registry online. You can register for whatever you need– from diapers to furniture, and everything in between.

Create a Budget: Sticking to a budget can feel similar to going on a diet. It's not easy, but it pays off! Consider setting up a separate Baby account to help you save, making a spreadsheet (you can find or purchase a template online to make it easier), or using an online money management tool or app.

529 Plan: Even though kindergarten might seem far away, it’s never too soon to invest in your child's future and start saving for college.

I’m trying to find the best possible credit card to use. It’s my first time getting a credit card and I’m not sure where to start. I’m filling out this template to get some recommendations. As of right now it would only be used for small purchases, possibly bigger purchases in the future (a year at the soonest). I’m mostly looking for something for everyday purchases (coffee, gas, etc) to build my credit. Any advice would be super helpful, as I’m absolutely clueless to how credit cards work (including fees, interest, rewards, cash or %back, etc), thank you!
Edit: I just red the credit card basics thread and wanted to add I am not a student, I’m graduated for additional info. I am also confused on how utilization works and would appreciate some info on that, thanks!
CREDIT PROFILE

Current credit cards you are the primary account holder of: None

FICO Scores with source (see note on FICO score sources below): Experian: 715 (Good)

Oldest credit card account age with you as primary name on the account: None

Number of personal credit cards approved for in the past 6 months: I haven’t applied for any yet

Number of personal credit cards approved for in the past 12 months: I haven’t applied for any yet

Number of personal credit cards approved for in the past 24 months: I haven’t applied for any yet

Annual income $: 30,000 (give or take 1k) CATEGORIES

OK with category-specific cards?: I’m not sure exactly what this means?
2024.05.09 15:00 QuinQuix Help with practical solutions for real world problem - medical field

Hi everyone!
I'm currently working on optimizing what is essentially a referral letter system.
I work in a medical field and here's what happens now:

from the patient journal, we opt to send a referral letter.

the patient journal (which is copyrighted and slightly dated software over which I have limited control) exports relevant fields (patient data, referral clinic address, the generic draft selected) to a *.dotx file

the letter is opened

you can edit and save it

here's what I want:

I want to create templates that have dependencies

What currently happens is each template stands completely on its own. That means if I create drop down menu's they are stored independently in each template. However I may want to add or remove medications or instructions in many templates at once, so I'd like to have a master template that the other templates depend on to streamline my editing.

I want to use external references efficiently

This is more or less linked to (1), but slightly different. Master templates are already a somewhat acceptable solution to streamline my workflow but some data is relevant for each file (for example doctor data like registration number, registered inurance code etc).
I would love to have like an excel file that you can add or remove doctors from that dropdown menu's in my word templates get their data from.
-> these two things would vastly simplifymy project which is to overhaul the referral system of the practice I work in.
Random rant:
It seems to me that creating an efficient template system in microsoft word in 2024 as should not be a headache. For me what I want feels pretty basic. I'm assuming millions of people use word templates on a daily basis around the world. It doesn't feel that off the beaten track in purpose.
Yet even the interface for inserting a drop down menus in word is archaic and not really simple at all - you have to enable the developer tab in the ribbon, and then the way in which you add menu values is far from intuitive.
Also in some of my templates (which were all created the same way) the system locked some drop down menus which means you can't manually remove the menu or add your own value - which sometimes you do want because even a good system will never cover every possible referral / prescription you might make.
You can purposefully lock and unlock menu's to editing but this was actually not even enabled and locking and unlocking the menu's didn't change anything at all. I eventually reverted to just deleting the affected templates and remaking them. (my assumption is the problem arose from something to do with different users/user profiles but yeah).

submitted by QuinQuix to MicrosoftWord [link] [comments]
