[Inevitable Demise] Chapter one
Set in Ep. 41
The cameramen who had been hiding from the toilets, with the exception of one cameraman standing in the right are more or less starting to think this was a very bad idea.
Afterall these 'tvmen' had suddenly appeared seemingly out of nowhere and started ordering them to this specific location, to- in their words 'show them something cool' which sounded suspicious and worthy of an eyebrow being raised.
In hindsight they were desperate for a solution but you cannot exactly blame them for trusting these newcomers due to the situation but still, it was a bad idea regardless.
The sounds of the abominable toilets singing their signature songs started to echo within the distance, the cameramen on the front who were hiding behind a destroyed car looking at the singing toilets with clenched fists whatever these tvmen are showing it better be goddamn worth it.
It seems the camera man noticed atleast by the looks of it that the tvmen had intentionally led them here judging from how a single tvman is slowly walking on the road in a decent enough distance from them, the only thing they thought of that tv head was that 'was he suicidal or is he showing off?'.
The tvman slowly craned his television head while still walking, looked towards the cameraman on his right and put two of his fingers in his face mimicking a human's way of putting glasses on their eyes.
He uttered the words "protection" In reverse, the cameraman on the front as well as the others quickly put the lens to be safe from the tv's hypnotic light, and looked at the approaching toilets waiting for this 'something' the tvmen wanted to show.
The toilets were grinning erratically and blinded by their own madness, slowly advancing to their retched enemies hoping to slaughter them, they had been so sure of their victory they did not even stop to think for but a moment that they're going towards an obvious trap, well even if they managed to notice it is not like they can escape anyway, because it is already too late.
Some sort of sound similar to a microphone, echoed behind the buildings and it sounded huge, something came out of the vicinity of the building and it was some sort of black smoke.
The toilets stopped in their tracks and faces filled with shock and fear.
They were so scared that none of them moved a muscle and so they waited in apprehension.
Until—
Static, the sounds of an old tv static started to echo within the area.
The cameramen had started to feel some ounce of slight fear, they did not know what would come out of the building so they stood silently.
A Huge hand with metal-like plating on top came out of the black smoke and held the flat roof of a building, gripping its concrete roof so hard it started to crack very fast under the pressure of the hand.
And a heavy thud reverberated the loud sound was accompanied by a slight tremor that caused the ground and nearby buildings to shake, sounds of falling debris echoed in the distance.
And out came a huge tv, so big it could be mistaken as a cinema screen, the sides of the tv seems to be fused with two other tv's, the ends of the 'main' tv seemed to have some sort of handle bars.
At the top of the tv in the center of it looks very reminiscent of a crown and two plated metal on the top head on both edges to most likely protect the tv.
As the rest of the body slowly came out of the building, the Titan took a step that caused slight tremors and kneeled in front of his adversaries as more details of the new but terrifying Titan had slowly unraveled to the spectators below.
The right arm of the Titan has an energy sword attached to it, the sword glowed purple.
Both his shoulders had a huge tv not as big as the main tv head but nonetheless still comparable to a cinema screen attached to it, at the top of it stood two big antennas on each tvs, purple mechanical claws are connected to his back.
Painting the Titan as some sort of tyrannical dark king.
As he looked at the enemies in front of him, he uttered the words "all toilets will die" In reverse.
An intense red light came out of his tvs causing major mental damage accompanied with a powerful hypnosis, the loud sounds of the tv reminiscent of the THX sound blared on the spectators below the Titan.
The toilets expression changed from their grins to a terrified face, they could not handle such an attack and were forced to flushed themselves either by hypnosis or the mental damage they had gained from the screen.
The cameramen who stood still watching the Titan do his attack had some slight screen interference caused by the red light it made their screens to slightly glitch, but thanks to their lens the actual damage would've been more powerful, though there was one thing that made them think twice about trusting these new friends, about their new allies.
They are terrifying, powerful and should not be messed with at all costs, but one thought stood out among the cameramen, who would be able to stand up to this new and powerful faction?
As the attack of the Titan ceased, he slowly stood at full height and the cameramen noticed more details about the huge entity that were obscured by its knees or just the lack of light within the area.
The Titans belt on the middle of it was a small tv attached to it, the knees of the Titan had metal-like plating on it for most likely an additional protection.
The core of the Titan was circular in shape with various claw-like parts, the core glowed bright purple, though there are some sort of white particles and violet electricity surrounding the core.
As the Titan stood silently, thunder appeared behind it making his menacing appearance more terrifying, he slowly craned his tv head towards the cameramen.
Silence ensued momentarily before the Titan gave them an ":3" Emoticon on the main tv screen of the Titan.

The cameramen who had been watching from the point of view of one of the agents on the scene were silent well... As silent as a mouth less entity could manage.
This... Changes things, the war would surely change with these new powerful faction appearing on the scene, and they can finally do the finishing touches to the upgrades of their Titan.
On the topic of upgrading their Titan, attaching the new anti-parasite system within the nape of their Titan is vital to avoid future unforeseen consequences, then there was the railgun, it was another issue because of the fact it was still a prototype, the damage output might be good enough but it could explode if someone managed to get a lucky hit on the weapon.
They have to finish the holographic shield as well, then there was the jetpack and the shoulder cannons, the Camera Titan's new shoulder cannons are only for temporary use so that they could work on other important projects, in addition the shoulder cannons are only good for crowd control using it for fighting gigantic toilets is highly unadvisable.
The jetpack will have to be finished some other time, the shoulder cannon will take fourth priority with the anti-parasite system being first priority.
With the mind of the cameramen all set, all of them, at least those in power gave out orders the others moved to fulfill their duty, with the extra time they were given by the new mysterious faction, they will do everything in their power to make their Titan's upgrades the perfect definition of a killing machine.
And once the upgrades are finished the two Titans will soon end the war with the alliance's victory.
Unfortunately for the alliance, a bigger threat will come and their arrival will introduce a major catastrophe for the world.

I live in Washington state where underdog is illegal and am planning to travel to New Mexico for a few days. I have heard people entering contests in states where Underdog is legal, and then traveling back home and finishing their (slow) drafts there.
My main question is: When I win BBM will I be able to collect my winnings even though I don't have an address where underdog is legal?
Any other info, tips, or tricks if I plan on doing this? Thanks!

Long time commenter here but I finally had a post worthy encounter! Nothing extreme but still peak boomerisms.
So I regularly go to my local library. I’m broke af and don’t currently have wifi so if I want to watch movies or anything, it’s either youtube or physical DVDs. So I go to the library all the time for movies and tv shows.
Anyways, last night I was at the library and was perusing the movies. It’s about an hour or so until close so there’s maybe two other people besides me in there. There’s a conference/meeting room off to the side and I can see that there’s a bunch of people seated in there, obviously for some type of meeting. Then Big Boomer Man comes out, his phone ringing loudly.
BBM answers his phone, on full volume speaker of course, and proceeds to loudly have a conversation with who I can only assume was his wife. I didn’t hear the entire thing because I was wearing my headphones but I did catch a few bits.
There was something about how his son is “full of shit” because apparently “no one has headaches that often” and how he “had better get to” some obligation he had “or else”. All I could think was I would absolutely have constant headaches if I had to deal with BBM as a father. I have chronic migraines as it is and I could feel one brewing just from listening to this guy.
Then BBM proceeds to spend like 3 minutes straight trying to get off the phone. Again, couldn’t pick up everything the woman was saying but he kept interrupting her trying to get her to stop talking. Finally he straight up yells “I HAVE TO GO! I’M IN A MEETING!” hangs up the phone, says “Jesus Christ!” to himself, and waddles back to the meeting room.
I looked over at the help desk and gave the librarian a look of “wtf was that all about?!” which she promptly returned with a smile.
So I’m a matter of a couple minutes we had:

• phone ringer on full blast.
• using his phone speaker at full volume.
• literally yelling in a library.
• getting angry at his wife.
• not believing medical conditions of someone younger than him.
• the weird threatening “or else” thing they do

Add on top of that his “boomer uniform” (a promotional/free tshirt stretched over his beer gut and tucked into his pants, suspenders, faded and stained jeans, crusty New Balance sneakers, and what looked like a veteran hat of some sort) and it was like playing Boomer Bingo.
Anyways, I usually go to the library during the day so the only people I really encounter are moms with their toddlers. I guess that’s what I get for getting stir crazy and needing to get out of my house at 6pm.

I've been setting up a new unRAID server. I've got read only cloud data mounted with rclone using this script and merged with a local folder share using mergerFS. I've also been doing my best to follow the trash guide for unRAID to set up my share, folder structure and containers.
When I try and add a folder in /mnt/usedata/torrents things work fine, but adding a directory to be monitored from /mnt/usedata/media fails.
Where this is my merged folder of cloud and local thanks to mergerFS, I have included my config and mount commands.
I am running the soanrr container through the binhex/arch-privoxyvpn if that somehow is related.

- A skirmish mode that acts as a regular, selectable game mode for the most casual form of play, but that you can also que in for while waiting for a match. This would give a good battleground to test out new gadgets or have fun in while waiting for a third in your party, also helps deal with longer que times.
- A mega-team battle game mode, call it "GigaByte" or something to denote size and stay in theme. The latest additions were amazing, I think it'd be a good experiment to take it even further with a 10v10 mode like king-of-the-hill and see how that fares for map size.
- The music in this game is 10/10. But I feel like there were less overall tracks played this season. Just have a continuous playlist of all old and new OST playing throughout or an option for seasonal music.
- I don't think there's any shame in a donation link within the slide show of microtransactions. It would provide an alternative portal for players to help fund the game they love to play. Maybe have a donator's badge as a small reward.
- Better combats against hacking. It's not as prevalent as before so Embarks in the right direction but anything above "anomalous" cheating could kill a game's momentum.
- Catch up to speed with social features. "Que with the same team?" Text chat. Better visual ques with voice chat. End-of-match voice chat enabled for all teams to hear each other. Those moving emoticon cosmetics could be used for something too I think.
- Final kill cam/last-minute steal, this could be a good opportunity to utilize the AI announcers too.
- Improved streaming support and marketing. I'm not a streamer but a "featured creators" section or creator tools would be cool to see.

I think I've been like this for a long time but yesterday I had a moment that I realized i might need to look for some help dealing with this. So, I was looking at cutesy animal videos on instagram, so nothing out of ordinary, one of them was of a boar with her babies and in the comments section I saw someone commenting with bacon emoticons and talking how he loved hunting those animals with his dog. I know there's no point in arguing with those people because they will always just double down on their love of animal cruelty. I know I could just block them but that doesn't change that people like this exist and keep on happily abusing those animals. For the rest of the day I just couldn't focus on anything, even when doing something simple like playing a video game I could sense I wasn't into them. Trying to watach a simple cartoon didn't help because I felt like I wasn't even able to keep track of what was going on, all my thoughts were about those poor animals and my desire to simply strangle that guy for ever thinking that this kind of cruelty is somehow cool. And while it's most extreme with me towards animals, it's similar with news about people dying in wars, getting killed because of their race, sexual orientation and what not, corporations abusing people, AI development ruining people's lifes etc. I hear about a story like that or see someone making fun of the abused ones and I become full of anger and can't focus on anything, whether its creative things or simple tasks. So I'm starting to feel like this is making it hard for me to function on daily basis.
Little detail about me: most of my life I struggled with anxiety disorder and hypochondria, I've been through therapy and managed to deal with it (around 2021/22), I quit smoking smoking half a year ago, nearly quit drinking all alcohol (I do it occasioanlly now and in only small doses), I exercise regularly, I'm in a healthy happy relationship, 2023 was the best year for my career and 24 so far has been as good, I'm on good terms with my parents, have good contact with friends so like what the hell... I'm at a point where I'm happy with my own life but somehow can't enjoy it to the fullest :/

2023 and 2024 Calendar

When my little sister came over from Los Angeles to visit me here in Munich (we are both german), she shared some pictures. One of them showing her U.S. (original socal!) husband naked because they visited natural tubs at a hot spring. I instantly wondered whether he was mutilated like most americans because his looks were somewhat inbetween intact and circed. She explained that they 'didn't get him fully' while ric and so he has some skin left. I'd classify him as ci5, similar to me. Tuesday I wrote her I'm happy for both of them because they cut him so loosely.
Only on wednesday I realized that she could hardly understand what I was talking of. I had to open up and post a second message informing her that I am restoring since three years now and that me and my wife are already reaping the first fruits of all the labour. I knew that the concept must have been completely new to her and told her not to expect her husband to understand what it could be good for. I even warned her that my brother in law could deny the fact circumcision has downsides at all.
For the time being she didn't react more than responding by heart-emoticons. It might be even too new to her for the moment, even though I am sure about her general open-mindedness. Funny, but now I'm really keen on her opinon ... (-;

Okay I'll admit it, maybe I knew a tad too much about computer hacking and modding for a 10 year old kid. There's nothing wrong with being a tech nerd. I was just into it for all the wrong reasons. I liked to prank my friends online. And I don't just mean rickrolling them or changing stuff on Wikipedia. I was a bad guy. I would delete valuable items from my friends' accounts on their favorite games. I'd find out what creepypastas scared them the most and then change pictures on their most visited websites to them. I just thought it was funny. I liked watching them use every swear word in the dictionary or fall out of their seats after a jumpscare.
My favorite victim was my sister Ella. Boy did I enjoy screwing around with her stuff. She was obsessed with that game Animal Jam. The funniest thing I ever did to her was getting her first account banned the day after she bought her membership. I downloaded a bot that allows you to mass send the same Jam-a-Gram to everyone on your buddies list. I also figured out how to make someone your buddy automatically without them having to accept your friend request. I logged onto Ella's account and automatically friended everyone in the same land I was in. Then I mass sent them inappropriate Jam-a-Grams until people finally reported me enough to get Ella permabanned. I still laugh thinking about the temper tantrum she had.
I felt a little bad knowing that our mom had spent her own money on the membership card, so I told myself I wouldn't mess around with Ella's membership again after she got a second account. I still played other jokes on her like making her switch animals at random or changing her den to a giant model of a phantom (which she was terrified of). Eventually she got tired of me screwing around and locked her den. Fair enough. But that wasn't gonna stop me. If I could make all minigames unwinnable, I could easily bypass the "only me" den lock setting. So I did.
When I got inside her princess castle den, everything was where she last left it. I opened the decorating menu and noticed that there were animals inside the castle. They weren't moving, so I thought they were just plushies. I moved my tiger character closer to the animals. They were all horses. Not plushies, but the animal character models. None of them had a username tag that I could click on. They were all gray and were all in the sitting pose facing each other. I made my tiger run around their circle a few times, thinking they'd acknowledge me. The horses just stayed still. I typed "Hey guys" in the chat. My message popped up in the speech bubble and stayed there for a few seconds. It disappeared with no response.
That evening I asked Ella to show me her den. She opened the decorating menu and the gray horses were gone. I chalked it up to being something left over from when I messed around with the phantom models.
My friend asked me to raid the den of this user that was cyberbullying him. I was going to put so much furniture that it would overload and make the game severely lag to a point where if it didn't crash automatically, it would take about a minute for your character to move a couple steps. I bypassed the den lock and was about to get to work. Then I saw the two gray lions in front of me.
"I'm stronger." said the first lion. "I'm smarter." replied the second. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to be a little troll. "You are both weak and dumb", I typed in the chat. The lions turned around to face me. "But only one of us can go." one of them said. Forgetting what I came for, I stayed around to hear what they were talking about. There’s nothing like some good Animal Jam drama, right?
“So the question is, which one of us does the new paradise need more?” asked one of the lions. This was strange to me. Nobody talks in complete sentences and proper grammar in this game. And what was the “new paradise”? Surely they must be roleplaying. Why not join the fun since I’m here? I asked what roleplay theme they were doing. They didn’t respond to me and kept speaking to each other. “We need to decide now. The end is approaching fast.” I barricaded the whole den with furniture like I was supposed to, and went on my way.
I went to Jamaa Central to go shopping, and noticed there was a crowd around the Mira statue. Surrounding the statue were three different animals: a bunny, a fox, and a sheep. They were all gray and didn’t wear any clothes. Everyone else sporting their usual colorful fur and accessories looked upon them from a small distance. It was almost like there was some sort of imaginary line separating the two groups.
“Mira’s feathers have begun to fall.” said the sheep. “We have been ignoring nature’s warnings for too long.” added the bunny.
No one else was talking. There wasn’t anyone advertising what they had for trade or inviting others to play a minigame. All of the animal avatars were turned to face the statue.
“The inevitable destruction of Jamaa awaits. Your existence will cease to be.” the fox said. This piqued my interest because I thought it was some weird roleplay. I decided to join in with what little context I had. “Soon, your den will be filled with phantoms!” I said in the chat, playing along.
The gray animals spun around to face me. “The tiger is a false prophet.” announced the fox. I responded with “Rude :P “, using the silly tongue emoticon. If these guys were gonna screw with me, then it’s only fair I mess with them, right? So I clicked on the fox’s player card and sure enough, she had a locked den. I knew exactly what I was going to do: make my little prophecy come true and turn her den into the giant phantom model. I bypassed the den lock and watched the loading bar fill.
When the game finished loading, I was alone in total darkness. The sidebar with your Jam-a-Grams and friend list was gone. There was no globe button to return to the map, but there was a name tag for the location- “The Ark”. I tried to walk around, but my tiger didn’t budge.
Two spaces to the left and right of me lit up like spotlights and revealed a gray monkey and fox. They were displaying strange animations I had never seen before. The monkey had its eyes closed and hands clasped together, as if it was praying. The fox raised its tail and rested its head on the floor. There was no music but the sound of a flowing stream.
Behind them stood a horse bowing its head repeatedly and an eagle with its wings folded in, concealing its head. I wanted to ask what this place was, who these people were and why I was there. I tried to chat, but I could no longer type freely. I was restricted to Bubble Chat, a list of generic Animal Jam-approved phrases to help you navigate the game (such as “Let’s be buddies!” or “How do I earn gems?”). But these phrases were definitely not part of the usual Bubble Chat list. Some of the options I saw were: “Oh Mother Nature, bless me with your kindness.” “Amen.” “The flood is coming.” “You aren’t worthy of salvation.” “Listen to Noah’s warning.”
I felt something that I had never felt when playing Animal Jam before. I felt like I wasn’t supposed to be here.I don’t know what I stumbled upon, but I knew in my heart that I found something bad. Someone really didn’t want me to see this. I’m worried that whoever is trying to keep this secret would do anything to make sure it didn’t get out.
The area continued to illuminate, revealing even more animals in these strange positions. At the end of the room was a large wooden boat with a door that looked like you could walk through. It opened and out came a gray wolf. He had the skull eyes and was the only one wearing any items of clothing; he had what looked like some sort of cane or scepter on his back. Chat bubbles appeared over every animal, which had the same message: “Hail Alpha Noah”. They repeated the message every few seconds.
“Cease exaltation.” said the wolf’s chat bubble, stepping out of the shadows. The other animals stopped talking. He walked into the center of the room. “It appears that we have saved the last voyager, have we not?”
“Yes, Alpha.” said a sheep. “We have saved the tiger.” The sheep turned towards my avatar, and the other animals followed suit. I clicked around desperately, hoping to find a way out but to no avail. I had no idea what was about to happen next and I wasn’t exactly eager to find out.
Noah the wolf drew closer. I took a deep breath and reminded myself that it was only a children’s game. Nothing was going to happen to me in real life. I shouldn’t let that creep me out. But what if I stumbled across something that really was evil? My imagination ran wild. Was this a front for some sort of real criminal activity? Was I being drawn into a plot? Why do it on Animal Jam of all places?
My worries were soon interrupted by a pink and purple panda running out into the middle of the circle. I thought that help had arrived. Finally, someone who looked like a regular player. Maybe she could help me get back to the normal Animal Jam map.
“Hello?” the panda called out with her chat bubble. All of the gray animals sharply turned towards her. “Who are you and why are you here?” asked Noah. The panda told him her username and that she tried to follow her buddy somewhere, got lost, and ended up in this weird place.
“We already have a panda on the Ark.” said Noah. “You don’t need to be here.”
I don’t understand. Why was this random player not needed, but I was? It seemed like we were both just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Wait. That’s not right. The panda said she got lost on the way to somewhere else on the map. I was prying around in other Jammers’ dens. She didn’t mean to come here. I asked for it.
The panda asked Noah how to get back to the world map. “I am deeply sorry, but I cannot grant you salvation. You are simply not fit for the Ark, yet I cannot let you return to Jamaa either. If you go back and tell everyone what you experienced, you will only stir up jealousy among the other animals over who is worthy of salvation. Then the Ark will be overcrowded, it will sink, and no one gets saved.” This speech was divided up into several chat bubbles because of the character limit.
Noah walked back to the giant boat. “Let this be a reminder as to what will happen to the heathens when the Great Flood strikes. The middle of the circle opened up into a deep blue water texture, almost like the ocean. The panda’s still model bobbed up and down beneath the waves. Every time she disappeared behind the water and came back, she sank down lower. Then she closed her eyes, transitioned to the sleeping animation, and sank down into the dark water until she couldn’t be seen anymore.
I just saw an animal avatar drown.
After seeing that, I knew what I had to do: fit in with this group or else. Only move when they move. Say what they say at the same time they do. I know that nothing happened in real life to whoever was behind the panda character. I still didn’t want to find out what exactly that was.
“Shed no tears for your heathen friends and family. Turn your backs on them like you did just now.” said Noah. “Oh, I have forgotten a very important matter. The last voyager.” He prowled towards my character from across the circle. All eyes were on me now. I started to fidget in my seat. I don’t know what the “last voyager” is, and it doesn’t sound like a very good thing.
“The tiger. He represents vitality and luck. We are so fortunate to have found the great tiger after so long. You truly possess these traits, constantly finding yourself surrounded by wealth and fortune.” he said. “Do you believe you embody the tiger’s greatest traits?”
I scrolled through the Bubble Chat phrase list and found “Yes.” I didn’t quite get what Noah meant, but if I appeared confident, he probably would leave me alone.
“Then drink from the water of Mother Nature’s sea.” A golden cup appeared next to my avatar. I assumed it worked just like the hot cocoa or smoothies, so I clicked on it to drink. Surely enough, it shrank and disappeared just like I expected it to.
“Rejoice, voyagers, for our toils are finally over. When Mira releases her tears and floods the world, we are prepared. We will be saved. We will be all that remains of Jamaa.”
Everyone entered into the strange praying animation I saw earlier. I clicked the animation menu and there was a button with a boat. I clicked it and the tiger sat, bowing its head.
The room illuminated once more to reveal a giant clock set to 12 o’clock. The sound of a church bell rang out.
The clock started to tick backwards.

Well, my last post didn't get much attention and I truly believe it should.
We need a new category for game modes that focus on fun and set aside the competitive aspect for a few games.
Hide n Seek AKA "Prop Hunt" mode is one of them, and I'm sure it will be executed by the devs soooo well.
Not to mention, it will be welcomed by the community and the rest of the online FPS population, encouraging more players to try the game with great enthusiasm.
Two teams, 5v5: one hiding, one seeking. Hiders have 30 seconds to find a prop in the map and transform into it, whether it's a tree, a canister, or a street sign. Hiders can transform to different kind of props up to 3 times in mid-game. Hiders can move with props with speed and health according to their chosen prop size. Seekers have limited ammo and can shoots a suspected prop and kill it. Once it's dead, it's out for spectating. If seekers run out of ammo, they either use melee or run out of time and lose, and then a team switch happens. Smaller maps, limited time, lets gooo.
Finally a good use for taunting using the sprays/emoticons and sounds we've acquired.

Hello i rarely post on reddit, so im still kind of new at this sorry haha. But this is the first time asking for friends 😅. For the next update or season I'd like to see some new pings/emoticons for Duos. A lot of people (including myself) have been complaining that they feel limited with the level of communication they can achieve with the current ones.
My suggestions are:
"Read The Card" ping- would look like a pair of glasses over a book. Would mean "read the card dumbass, your Persistent Poet is between two Tarecgosas" or something of the like.
"Switch" or "Switch Position" ping- would look like two arrows making a circle, like the recycling symbol. You would ping two cards with this and it would mean the two cards should switch positions. You know, like switching your Persistent Poet next to literally any other dragons besides two Tarecgosas.
Those are the only two I have for now, but I would love to hear other people's suggestions. Also Blizzard putting in a general guide to what the different pings mean I think would help a lot, although some of them have multiple meanings and are used in different ways so who knows, maybe it wouldn't be helpful lol
