2024.05.19 19:51 AdPractical8997 Moved to a newly painted condo. Found out it was occupied by smoker.
I moved into a 2006 condo 1 bedroom 2 weeks ago In Saint Laurent. Rent is 1500 including parking. It was just painted so there was smell. The landlord says it will go away pretty fast in just a few days.
Now 2 weeks later,the paint smell is much less. But there is an offending smell from walls when i close Windows. A WiFi guy came and he opened the plugs. I found out the smell is directly from inside wall. It was something chemical and offending. Doesn't smell like smoke but irritating.
I asked and The landlord told me the person lives before the previous tenant smokes. He said new paint should kill the smoke smell but I didn't know before and I trust him saying the paint smell should go away. He told me the previous person didn't smoke when i first asked him. Today I asked again why he painted he told me there was smoke smell and the previous person only stays for a short while and the person before previous person smoke probably many years.

so basically what the title says my friend is gold 2 he is a bit new to the game started playing a couple months ago but he has insane ranked lobbies for some reason i cant play with his since am immo but i do coach him sometimes he plays great like diamond great his lobbies are genuinly worse tho he screencapped multiple people admiting to being high ranked smurfs etc and he does give them a good fight i dont wana smurf to try and get him out of that hell and to be completely honnest i dont think i can that easily

Of course, if you're here you have seen the recent clip wherein Jordan Peterson calls Destiny out for "wanting to be right", because he has a "Luciferian intellect". And if you're anything like me your first reaction was something like "lmao, what?". If anything was clear from that conversation, it was that Peterson wanted to be right as much as Destiny - probably more. I vividly remember him angrily shouting "What do you make of the excess deaths!?". Jordan Peterson also talked and interupted way more than Destiny did. How could he think that Destiny is the Luciferian one?
I think the key is when he says:

Peterson praises Rogan, even though the latter is usually interviewing someone other than Jordan. And I want you to contrast the Russell clip from before with this one with Roger Penrose. It is a lot like the previous one, but now the roles are reversed. This time Jordan Peterson barely talks and only very sheepishly on the rare ocasion. Where a normal Peterson clip has him dead center, dominating the frame. In this clip he is barely visible in the corner of the frame. Even his posture (when you see it) is much more demure. What is the differentiating factor?
Putting it all together, the anwer is probably hierarchy. Hierarchies are extremely important to how Peterson sees the world. I want to keep as safe as possible and do things right. Will only download from trusted open source repositories, and only torrent mkv films/anime/etc. For pirated software (matlab e.g) I'm thinking of using virtualbox or smth to emulate another Windows and use it from there, is it ok? Or there's another sandbox where I can use it in a safe and fast way?.
And yeah, this post is asking u guys if you know some tips to be safe and what u guys have learnt from piracy over these years. Also, is Microsoft Activation Scripts ok? Ive heard it disables some stuff related to privacy (not being a virus but maybe it makes u vulnerable)

Just in case anyone else sees this soap and doesn't smell it before buying it: the scent is so strong I had to remove it from the house. Instant migraine. Heya, so in the process of swapping out my mainboard I accidentally wired my original BLTouch backwards and burnt it out. it made the fun magic smoke and everything. it still cycles/takes commands so the servo part of it is fine but it doesn't report anything but the OPEN state
so I buy a new one I verified that it's a genuine BLTouch by going on their website & putting in the serial # and all that good stuff & install it. it does it's self test, the light remains red so it doesn't detect any problems
I go through some sanity checks I can deploy and store the probe from the command line, but any time I do PROBE_QUERY it still just reports OPEN like the dead one I even thought I was crazy/misunderstanding how it worked so I tried homing my axis, but before it would home Z it would say "BL Touch failed to verify sensor state" 3 times and then cancel the rest of the homing.
so I thought oh, maybe I killed that pin on my mainboard, so I switched it to one of the spare endstop switches on my board & redid my config, still only reports as open I then went ahead and hooked up a multi meter (set to continuity mode) to the Black and White wires of my BLTouch to see it's output raw. no matter what state the probe is in it has continuity across the 2 pins, the only thing that breaks continuity is cutting power to the printer. I think my BLTouch is bad, right?
any time the probe is stowed it should query/report as triggered? Do I need to return my new probe to Amazon?

so I thought oh, maybe I killed that pin on my mainboard, so I switched it to one of the spare endstop switches on my board & redid my config, still only reports as open I then went ahead and hooked up a multi meter (set to continuity mode) to the Black and White wires of my BLTouch to see it's output raw. no matter what state the probe is in it has continuity across the 2 pins, the only thing that breaks continuity is cutting power to the printer. I think my BLTouch is bad, right?
any time the probe is stowed it should query/report as triggered? Do I need to return my new probe to Amazon?

 | Recently purchased a mk1 mx5, had it out for its first good run today (for about 2 hours), submitted by not_somebody_famous to Miata [link] [comments] Next thing plumes of smoke out the engine bay, pulled over to look & there's a burst coolant pipe by the exhaust manifold... I let the mist evaporate & let it coolant down some, I was only about 2 miles away from home & drove it back, during this the engine temp rose again. Would this have caused any catastrophic damage? (I basically let it roll for a good stretch to avoid more engine stress) I also am wondering is there a reason the hose split? I've heard old hoses crack over time & the most logical reason in my head is that the split is right beside the exhaust nearly touching it as you can see in the pic, so I'm hoping that was the only reason. But if anyone has any experience would there be another reason? (Hoses all seem stock) To note on the engine after, it's running fine. On all 4 cylinders and sounds perfect, I'm just paranoid I've fucked it up getting it home lol. Thanks in advance!!! |

This is a case for a 78-year-old female. The issue arose when her hernia mesh deteriorated with time and caused an infection. So her surgery was put on hold because of her rising vitals and infection. And got admitted to a hospital. They found out she was dehydrated and had high blood pressure. Also, she already has thyroid ( hypothyroidism) and colon issues which she is on medication. Doctors believe that might be the main cause of the issue at hand now which is cirrhosis. At first, they found out that she had fluid in her stomach which she was diagnosed with ascites and then fatty liver. Now to cirrhosis in a matter of days. So what I am asking now is to understand the results and reports until her next appointment with a doctor. What kind of meals and lifestyle changes would she need to make now? I have written down the results someone can explain it, please?

I have never drunk any alcohol/beer or smoked in my entire lifetime (as of now). I have a mindset that I would never drink in my lifetime. It is not due to religious reasons, but I know how addictive it is and very hard to get rid of.
Now comes the Election time. Our Election Commission mandates that there would be no sales of alcoholic beverages during election (which is called as Dry Day).

(Sorry for my englush im not eng native+ i text too faster so i hope u understand what i say) I'm not diagnosed with social anxiety but i was thinking abt it cuz of it. So, this year i'll finally be an adult and that has to be an happy thing no? But for me it's not an happy thing at all. I'm 17 and i don't know what is wrong with me sometimes because i feel alone if i have no friends and no partner but even if i'd had 1000 friends and a partner i'd still be sad. I don't know why but when i go out with my friends i can barely do something for example when someone invites me eating outside i get very anxious cuz i'm scared that i wont know how to but things for myself but i don't think that i don't know that i think that it might be because my behaviour and all these things are becayse when i was a child i got bullied and now i get mad at everyone evern for no reason at all because i feel threatened i feel like they are mocking me even though its just bc of the way they talk to me and nothing else but what if im actually dumb? Listen, i talk abt this with my grandma and she said "youre dumb because we study these rhings at school" but then why? What is wrong with me? Why am i scared that someone will think that i'm dumb and scared that people will say that is did smth wrong i dont know but even if it might be for bullying or bc i might have social anxiety ... i cant go out. I can go out jst for walks and it makes me so sad becayse i dont understand if im just scared of doing smth wrong scared of trying it by myself since my mom treats me lile a child since FOREVER in my life and she always buys things for me and she never let me do things she always do that instead of me. Since forever. Or maybe its because i actually have a disorder? Cuz i refuse to believe that idk that. We use euros they are simple theres nothing difficult its becayse im scared probably also its impossible forgetting it because everyone knows how to do that in this world. Often, I will use my dupe fragrance as a base layer and the OG on my clothes to make the fragrance last.
Please share the best and worst ones you’ve personally experienced! Here are mine:

Dua: Angel Share (Angelic Elixir): I bought my bottle secondhand from Mercari and it is a 1 to 1 for Angels’ Share! I have a FB of AS and compared side by side you cannot tell the difference.
BoraBora by Giardini di Toscana (Hug of Flowers)- I bought this one before trying BB. I went through my bottle in 6 weeks and Dua had sold out, so I bought BB! When I tried BB, I was blown away at how exact the match was.
Mallow by Sora Dora (Raspberry Candied Violets)- beautiful, creamy and such a close match to Mallow!
Rouge Smoking by BDK (She Loves Red)- this one started out bad. I could smell the carrier oil and it just was not close at all. After sitting 8 weeks, it deepened (the juice became nearly red) and it is the most gorgeous and perfect match! Except that this one lasts!!
Leisure in Paradise by Simone Andreoli (paradise Leisure)- another one that didn’t start well! After sitting 2 weeks it morphed into the most fruity, creamy and woody fragrance. I’ve used half my bottle in 3 weeks!
Devotion by D&G (Her loyalty) - this started as my biggest fail. My first Dua, and it was terrible! It took 3 months, but this one is now a deeper, richer version of the OG, with the same scent.
Rise by Akro (Rise of Pina Colada)
Oil Perfumery: Princess- so lovely, and strong! I use this along with OG Princess to amp up the scent. Compliments for Days!!
Lira- started out bad- all carrier oil! In 3 weeks it started to develop into a perfect dupe! At 5 weeks it was perfect.
Musk Therapy- 100% perfect and projecting. The black currant is so mouth watering! I wear this along with MT for a perfect wear.
Maison Alhambra- Atomic Rose (Infini Rose)- had to mature for around 4 weeks, but now this is a perfect clone!
Musk Therapy (Infini Musk)- this one took 8 weeks but now it is perfect.
Paris Corner- Khair Pistachio (Yum Pistachio Gelato)- this is a 1:1 on my skin! I just purchased a second bottle of this beauty, as I used my first one in 2 months. Had to sit 3 weeks- was very soapy at first.
Alt: Love Don’t be Shy- got this on clearance at TJ Maxx and it is amazing! Was fully matured when I purchased it.
Fails:
Dua: Musc Noir Rose by Narciso- smells like incense and room spray! Terrible on my skin.
Indult by Tihota- screechy, with an artificial vanilla smell
Bal D’afrique (Paris 1920)- total vetiver bomb. No other notes are noticeable to my nose! Very screechy and not smooth like the OG.
Oil Perfumery: Coconut Fizz by Guerlain- had this for 2 weeks, so it may not be matured. It is way too green smelling- no sweetness like the OG.
Beach Walk by Maison Margiela- way too strong, and does not have the nuance and sweetness of the OG.
