Hello, I have for the most part lost faith in me getting my account back. I had a personal account that did not break TOS and only had pictures of me with friends and family posted with no captions. I don't know why my account is disabled, it doesn't say why and I never even submitted an appeal so I don't know why it say's "appeal sent". I have no email history of any appeal email being sent. I have contacted my AG in Florida in which I received a copy and paste response, I have contacted Instagram data and recovery in which I recieved a copy paste a response (common theme is they always say the support is at instagram.com/help but there is no support lol) I have even contacted Meta Store Support (I own a quest 3 and am a paying consumer of meta) in which I did get to talk to a real person, only for them to always say they are spreading the word to their colleague and then to get a copy paste response telling me to go to instagram.com/help for support even though I repeat 10 times that there is no Instagram support. I literally begged and explained how my account being stuck in disabled as a young college student that just moved states is ruining my social life and ability to make connections with people as nobody is going to take a small Instagram account seriously. You would think for a company that want's everybody to shift to the Meta World and Online, that they would take stuff like this more seriously especially for a paying consumer, with the impact it could have on a person in a world centered around social media for people in my age group. I have tried buying Facebook ads to get meta support and can't even get the option to contact support despite purchased ads. Instagram won't even let me get Meta Verified through the instagram chat on my new account. I'm at a dead end and I don't know what to do, so I'm desperately trying to see if there is anyone that could seriously help me in this matter. It would seriously make the world to me and I would do anything, even pay, to get my Instagram account looked at.

I have talked to a few other people about this and I always get mixed responses, some people mention they would have enjoyed this and woke up to have sex. But to me it didn’t feel right as I had told him over and over that I wasn’t into it but it kept happening. Please delete my post if this breaks any rules - I need some ways of coping with the stress of not knowing my status as of now. Here’s some background for everyone, I’ll do it from the beginning as I don’t know how else to do it:
I’m 26, male, gay. On 14th of April I’ve met a guy and had unprotected sex with him. I was passive. I know he was HIV+ve but he told me he was undetectable. Prior to this for about 3 weeks I was taking PreP daily which I only stopped 3 days prior to meeting him (I had some stuff happening) and restarted it an hour and a half before meeting him.
Fast forward two weeks, I get a high fever, vomiting, aches all over and a massive headache as well as a sore throat and swollen lymph nodes. I didn’t immediately connect it back to him but I started finding out that unfortunately he’s a drug addict a stoner and frequently misses his meds - I am not judging at all so please don’t take it as such but that planted a seed in my head.
When my main symptoms went away (roughly day 15/16) I was left with aching everywhere and a sore throat that had continued on and off since then. It’s almost like the more I think about it the more it happens.
I am now in this IMMENSE black hole of constantly googling stuff related to HIV. I have done a test on day 32 which was a 4th generation test from my finger. This came back negative.
Yesterday, day 36 I’ve noticed white spots at the back of my throat.
I can’t stop googling, researching and finding more reasons as to why I am positive. I keep reading about how prep delays the detection window which is why I don’t trust my negative result.
I am just looking for people to give me some ways of coping with anxiety as it’s taken over my life. I am at work and I can’t stop thinking about it no matter what I’m doing. I keep randomly breaking down into tears. I wake up in the middle of the night and think about having it.
I understand having HIV is not a death sentence - I think it’s the anxiety of not knowing. If I knew I could then start moving on, but for now my life has been put on hold and I’m just paralysed.
I have another test at week 6 (+5days) and I’m already finding reasons as to why it won’t be definitive.
For me, it’s just way too many coincidences for me to not be positive and I just wanted people to essentially tell me what to do, please.

2024.05.19 21:01 itsalwayssunnyonline When touch typing, how important is it that each key is pressed by the "proper" finger, all the time?
My whole life, I've only used my pointer fingers to type, so I've been learning touch typing using keybr.com. I was at about 60 wpm before, and in the past few days I've been getting like 40 wpm using all my fingers, so I'm hoping if I keep at it I'll get back to my previous speed and faster. But my concern is, when I get into a flow while practicing, I'll forget what finger is supposed to go on what key, and just use whatever finger is closest. I do make an effort to correct this as much as possible, but I was wondering if the fastest typists truly use the correct fingers all the time. For example, when typing the word "minimum", the pointer finger does a lot of heavy lifting, and it seems like it would be faster if the other fingers could jump in. Another example is that in words containing "tr", it seems more natural to use the pointer finger for T and the middle finger for R. Is it truly best to always use the fingers assigned by touch typing, or does it depend on the word? My goal is to achieve the highest speed I possibly can.

They were spending the weekend watching Disney princess movies, suggested by Himiko. Saturday, they watched half the movies, and today, Sunday, they were tackling the other half. They were currently watching Moana.
"Nyeh...hey, Kokichi?" Himiko began. Kokichi shoved his finger onto Himiko's lips while simultaneously watching the screen.
"Ssh!! Ssh!! Wait, wait, wait!! Here comes the rapping part!" he exclaimed. He inhaled deeply and began rapping with Maui: "Well, come to think of it, kid, honestly I can go on and on. I can explain every natural phenomenon. The tide, the grass, the ground, oh, that was Maui just messin' around! I killed an eel, I buried its guts. Sprouted a tree, now you got coconuts. What's the lesson? What is the takeaway? Don't mess with Maui when he's on a breakaway! And the tapestry here on my skin is a map of the victories I win! Look where I've been, I make everything happen! Look at that mini-me Maui a-tippin' a-tappin!' Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, HEY!! " Kokichi burst into laughter. "I LOVE that part!" he exclaimed. "Hmmm," he murmured. "I think you're kind of like Snow White and Rapunzel...and maybe the sleeping girl because, well...cuz she mostly slept. Nee-heehee!"
"Oh! Why Snow White?" Himiko asked.
"I dunno...I guess because she's an airhead," Kokichi replied.
"Heeey!" Himiko said, frowning.
"In an endearing way!" Kokichi said, shrugging his shoulders defensively.
"So...it's a good thing?" Himiko asked.
"I mean, I think it's cute," Kokichi replied. "Plus, she talks to animals, like you do. Except, in her case, the animals don't talk back."
"Nyeh...that's true," Himiko nodded. "And Rapunzel?"
"Well...you're naive, like she is," Kokichi began. "But, she's also goofy and adventurous. You're goofy, just like her, and you can be adventurous, so long as I'm there with you. And, of course, you have magic."
"Well...I do like those choices," Himiko admitted.
"Plus, I remind myself of Flynn Rider, so you automatically remind me of Rapunzel for that reason, too," Kokichi added. Himiko smiled and rolled her eyes.
"Of course," she said. "Nyeh...what about Belle?"
"The beast-lover?" Kokichi asked. Himiko nodded. "Hmm...maybe a little. I guess like Belle, you're mostly docile, but you also have a feisty side, like she does. Especially when she gets fed up. You just don't read as much as she does, though." Himiko nodded in agreement.
"And what about Ariel?" she asked.
"Pffft...from The Dumbass Mermaid? " Kokichi scoffed. Himiko smacked his arm.
"That's not what the movie is called," she said.
"It should be," Kokichi muttered. "She told her dad she loved what's-his-face even though she knew absolutely nothing about him! And to make things worse, she sold her voice to Urkel, or whatever her name was, just to meet that guy, who she's lucky didn't turn out to be some serial killer! The only thing you have in common with her is your red hair...well, that, and you're a dreamer, too."
"Nyeh...and I don't brush my hair with a fork," Himiko added.
"That, too!" Kokichi replied, shaking his head and rolling his eyes.
"What about Tiana?" Himiko asked. Kokichi smirked.
"Nah, you're allergic to hard work," he said.
"Ugh!!" Himiko cried. Then crossed her arms, pouting. "I'd smack you if that weren't true." Kokichi snickered at her. "Nyeh...what about Cinderella?"
"Again...you're allergic to hard work," Kokichi said.
"Well, she's not just known for hard work!" Himiko said. "She's also patient and kind!"
"Well...how would you respond to two ugly stepsisters and a stepmother being mean to you?" Kokichi asked.
"If there's any time to do what Ariel did, it would be then!" Himiko replied. "I'd run away to find the prince!"
"What if the prince is a psycho?" Kokichi asked.
"AND THE STEPSISTERS AND STEPMOTHER WEREN'T?!?!" Himiko exclaimed. Kokichi chuckled.
"Good point," he admitted, kissing the back of Himiko's hand.
"What about Jasmine?" Himiko asked.
"Jasmine...?"
"From Aladdin," Himiko reminded him. Kokichi smiled at her.
"You don't remind me of her, but...I feel like our relationship is like Aladdin and Jasmine's," he said. "Especially how in sync they were with each other when they first met, like when they worked together to avoid the guards. They reminded me of us, because you and I are always in cahoots! Hahaha!" Himiko smiled back.
"Ohhh! I like that!" she said. "Plus, Aladdin is a liar, like you are."
"Can't argue with that," Kokichi replied with a shrug. "Yeah, I think our relationship is like...hmm...what would their ship names be? 'Alasmine,' and 'Eupunzel."
"Eupunzel??" Himiko repeated.
"Yeah, Eugene and Rapunzel," Kokichi explained.
"Right!" Himiko said. "Nyeh...I love those choices for us!"
"Riiight?" Kokichi agreed with a cheeky grin.
"What about Pocahontas?" Himiko asked.
"Nnnnyyyoooooo..." Kokichi replied, shaking his head. "You are not a nature-lover, Monkey Buns! Plus, I just don't see you as a free spirit. You also don't go jumping off of cliffs and stuff."
"Oh..." Himiko said sadly.
"Not that that's a bad thing," Kokichi said. "I just don't see anything Pocahontas-y about you."
"I guess that's faaaiiir..." Himiko grumbled. Kokichi chuckled and kissed her cheek. "What about Mulan?"
"Nope! You're a dishonor to your family!" Kokichi joked. Himiko pounced on Kokichi, pinning him down to the couch cushions. Kokichi laughed playfully while Himiko kissed his face all over. "Hahahaha...ewww, you're getting your slobber all over me!"

"I'm pretty sure that's an Irish thing, not a Scottish thing," he said.
"Well...what do Scottish people say?" Himiko asked.
"I dunno...talk about bagpipes and Nessie, or something," Kokichi replied.
"Um...I done told Nessie not to play the bay-agpipes, but she went an' did it, anywaaay!" Himiko said in a horrible Southern accent. Kokichi burst into laughter.
"You sounded like a hillbilly from the American South!" he exclaimed.
"Well, I forgot how Scottish people sound already!" Himiko said, smacking Kokichi's leg. "So hush! Nyeh...moving on...what about Anna or Elsa?"
"Anna, no," Kokichi replied. "Elsa, yeah. She has magic, and she's quiet and hides her feelings, like you used to do. Also...why does Elsa even count? She's not even a princess, she's a queen!"
"Well, now she's the fifth spirit, remember?" Himiko said. "And Anna's the queen, now."
"Well, that's the only thing you have in common with Anna, then," Kokichi said with a wink. Himiko blushed.
"D'oh, Kokichi..." she said bashfully, waving her hand dismissively at him. They turned their attention back to Moana, who was now in the middle of another song.
"...And the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me," she sang. "It's like the tide always falling and rising. I will carry you here in my heart, you'll remind me that come what may, I know the way..."
"...I AM MOANAAAAAA!!! " Kokichi and Himiko sang together, pumping their fists. Then, they started swaying slowly and moving their arms dramatically to the music until the end of the song.

"Nuh-uh," Kokichi interrupted.
"Why nooot?" Himiko asked.
"Cuz you don't like the ocean, remember?" Kokichi replied with a cheeky grin.

"Is that all the Disney princesses?" he asked. Himiko went over the princesses in her head.

"You don't remind me of her, but...I feel like our relationship is like Aladdin and Jasmine's," he said. "Especially how in sync they were with each other when they first met, like when they worked together to avoid the guards. They reminded me of us, because you and I are always in cahoots! Hahaha!" Himiko smiled back.
"Ohhh! I like that!" she said. "Plus, Aladdin is a liar, like you are."
"Can't argue with that," Kokichi replied with a shrug. "Yeah, I think our relationship is like...hmm...what would their ship names be? 'Alasmine,' and 'Eupunzel."
"Eupunzel??" Himiko repeated.
"Yeah, Eugene and Rapunzel," Kokichi explained.
"Right!" Himiko said. "Nyeh...I love those choices for us!"
"Riiight?" Kokichi agreed with a cheeky grin.
"What about Pocahontas?" Himiko asked.
"Nnnnyyyoooooo..." Kokichi replied, shaking his head. "You are not a nature-lover, Monkey Buns! Plus, I just don't see you as a free spirit. You also don't go jumping off of cliffs and stuff."
"Oh..." Himiko said sadly.
"Not that that's a bad thing," Kokichi said. "I just don't see anything Pocahontas-y about you."
"I guess that's faaaiiir..." Himiko grumbled. Kokichi chuckled and kissed her cheek. "What about Mulan?"
"Nope! You're a dishonor to your family!" Kokichi joked. Himiko pounced on Kokichi, pinning him down to the couch cushions. Kokichi laughed playfully while Himiko kissed his face all over. "Hahahaha...ewww, you're getting your slobber all over me!"
"Nyeh...that's what you get!" Himiko said. "Just be glad I didn't tickle you! I know where your tickle spot is!" She drummed her fingers along Kokichi's neck. Kokichi cried out in surprise and scrunched his neck. Then, he licked one of Himiko's fingers.
"Ew!" Himiko cried, yanking her hand away.
"Nee-heehee...that'll learn ya!" Kokichi said.
"Nyeh...well, anyway..." Himiko muttered, wiping her finger on her jacket. "...What about Merida?"
"Och! In yer dreams, lassie!" Kokichi replied in a Scottish accent. "Ye couldn't e'en shoot a target if it was three feet in front o' yew!" He then dropped the accent. "Haha! Try the accent! It's fun!"
"Nyeh...top o' the marnin' to ya!" Himiko said. Kokichi gave her a strange smile.
"I'm pretty sure that's an Irish thing, not a Scottish thing," he said.
"Well...what do Scottish people say?" Himiko asked.

"Um...I done told Nessie not to play the bay-agpipes, but she went an' did it, anywaaay!" Himiko said in a horrible Southern accent. Kokichi burst into laughter.

"Well, I forgot how Scottish people sound already!" Himiko said, smacking Kokichi's leg. "So hush! Nyeh...moving on...what about Anna or Elsa?"
"Anna, no," Kokichi replied. "Elsa, yeah. She has magic, and she's quiet and hides her feelings, like you used to do. Also...why does Elsa even count? She's not even a princess, she's a queen!"
"Well, now she's the fifth spirit, remember?" Himiko said. "And Anna's the queen, now."
"Well, that's the only thing you have in common with Anna, then," Kokichi said with a wink. Himiko blushed.
"D'oh, Kokichi..." she said bashfully, waving her hand dismissively at him. They turned their attention back to Moana, who was now in the middle of another song.
"...And the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me," she sang. "It's like the tide always falling and rising. I will carry you here in my heart, you'll remind me that come what may, I know the way..."
"...I AM MOANAAAAAA!!! " Kokichi and Himiko sang together, pumping their fists. Then, they started swaying slowly and moving their arms dramatically to the music until the end of the song.
"Nyeh...do I remind you of Moa-" Himiko began.
"Nuh-uh," Kokichi interrupted.
"Why nooot?" Himiko asked.
"Cuz you don't like the ocean, remember?" Kokichi replied with a cheeky grin.
"Good point," Himiko said, kissing the back of Kokichi's hand. Kokichi chuckled.
"Is that all the Disney princesses?" he asked. Himiko went over the princesses in her head.
"Nyeh...yup, that's all of them," she said.
"Good! Can we go back to watching the rest of the movie, now?" Kokichi said.
"Nyeh...okay, okay," Himiko said. She nestled her head against Kokichi's shoulder. Kokichi moved her hat and kissed the top of her head, making her squeal happily. Then, they watched the rest of Moana in silence.

i’m the youngest of two daughters born to parents who had a difficult upbringing. dad was the youngest of 6/7?? siblings and came from a background of poverty. he was one of the only few siblings who made it through and worked well enough to have a better sustenance than rest of the family. mother is the youngest of 3, the other two being sons. additionally she is also a late child and so was fairly pampered. she also came from a messed up poverty ridden family. they had an arranged marriage and had me sister and me 5 years after her. they’re great parents in the sense that they try their best to provide most things. however emotionally we are a heavily dysfunctional family. dad was working away in a different country mostly and mum became a single parent to us. we used to fly and meet our dad but that was it for me since i was too young to video chat. eventually dad came back and we lived together. when i was 9 over a fight regarding something (it had to do w me against my sister) my mum failed to understand me and in anger told me they were going to disown me and send me away to an orphanage. this hurt me and it was further driven by the fact that she made me pack up my bags and said dad was looking at orphanages as we speak. it never happened but the incident still left its impact. since then i realised just how invisible i felt in my household. i was the youngest in the extended family too and so i often acted silly to get a few laughs but i started to close off. my sister and i were both star performers but to my mother no matter how well i did i wasn’t good enough even if i was in top 3 of my class unless i was top one. parents constantly fought but now mom started controlling my relationship with my friends and used to instruct my teachers to be extra strict on me and keep me away from my friends. eventually she shifted me from that school bc i apparently got too comfortable in that school and put me in one i absolutely hated. i got bullied there and my mum and i started fighting all the more. our relationship got worse. i barely had a relationship w dad . soon she put me in a college i didn’t like in a course i hated and just couldn’t excel at (my sister was in the same college with the same course and excelled at it) yet again we had a fight. she then refused to let me pursue my dream career. i joined a university i liked for a course we both agreed on but she shifted me into another college (the one i study in now) that i dislike. in the middle of this when i started college first there was an incident which revealed to my sister that i had attempted to take my own life. my sister never revealed it to my parents on my insistence but she ended up urging them to get me help. i was diagnosed w depression anxiety ocd and adhd. i never continued therapy or meds bc my parents always taunted me for it. now after all this i often get into altercations w mum dad and sister. i barely talk to my dad since he is back abroad but when i do it’s mostly arguing. mum and i almost never have regular conversations and my sister says my fights w my parents ruined the harmony and peace and ultimately affected mental health. after arguments with them i often come out feeling like im the bad person or the toxic one since i always end up saying piercing hurtful words. i know my sister needs therapy but she refuses to go. am i actually a horrible person? am i that toxic? i feel like i’ve twisted the events of my life to make myself the victim. am i actually the one that manipulates and victimises?? how can i change? there’s so much more that i missed but this is already too long and a rant atp . for context i turn 19 this year and my sister just turned 24.

I (22F) had my baby (1F) last year. At 21 weeks she had 2 heart defects, needed to be born 300 miles away at a specific hospital and would need heart surgery within 2 weeks.
I suffered a severe PPH, 2.2litres and my baby was taken to NICU without even getting to see her. The only photo from delivery has wires over her and a mask on her face. I couldn't hold her until the next day.
We spent 4 weeks hospital with emergency surgery at 1 week, keyhole surgery at 2 weeks followed by a stroke due to a complication. We were another week in the children's ward 100 miles from home.
We made weekly 200miles round trips for blood tests once home and were messed about a lot by varying consultants and doctors.
We were then told in October that the main surgery would be before Christmas
I was diagnosed with Postpartum Depression, and have suspected PTSD due to the trauma of everything. So lot of tough feelings and triggers especially relating to pregnancy/birth/newborns etc
A girl I work with (M) was pregnant. It was difficult hearing about her due to my high risk pregnancy and her having a healthy one and it escalated the further on she got and the more we dealt with. My mental health was deteriorating as everything came up e.g all the normal moments we missed and the surgeries and nicu etc
I removed M from Facebook but couldn't stop checking her page to see if she'd had her baby when it hit around her due date.
When I saw M had her baby I took an overdose of lorazpam and ended in A&E
I left my work group chat and blocked her on Facebook. Seeing her posts just brought up everything we'd suffered while she didn't have too and seeing her being happy she got her baby so many days early (mine was born at 39wks and had emergency surgery on her due date) and believing her baby gave her purpose. Meanwhile I had no connection, no feelings to my baby and struggled with thoughts of harming her due to my PPD.
A while later I got a message from my manager (S) who's also very good friends with this M . S said she'd had been over seeing M and M said she'd tried to find me on Facebook to message but couldn't and that if I needed anything to message her
S then told my mum (a seasonal member of staff who was off work at this time) that M was upset I'd removed her off Facebook and didn't understand what she'd done.

I don't really share this with anyone, other than my therapist, and it's one of those memory that I blocked out to the point where I can barely remember it, but it was pretty traumatic. It was also one of those things where I had to put together by putting the pieces together. My mom had abandoned me, but then came back for me. There is also a story there, but I was around 6, and she brought to me to this house with a bunch of rooms, and courtyard in the middle. This was in South Korea, when they still had walls made of paper, like the ones you see in Samurai movies. She went in one of the rooms with her boyfriend, and all I could hear were noises. The walls were paper, so I poked hole with my finger and looked. I saw my mom wrestling with a guy, both were naked. The lady that was there, probably the madam, took me to another room and fed me some food. We were poor, so I lost interest in what my mom was doing pretty quickly.
Sometime after that, I remember my mom talking to her boyfriend. I didn't understand what they were talking about then, but later I was able to figure out that they were talking about payment to the madam to buy my mom out from the brothel. We ended up finding out we go to the same comic shop and they ended up saying "I hope we run into one of these days, I need more comic-reading friends."
This really confuses me. They're anonymous and I don't have my face on my profile, so how are we supposed to run into each other? I just responded with "same", they liked it, and we haven't spoken for a few days. Should I have expected this person to try to set up a meeting date or ask if I wanted to take our conversations to Facebook Messages? Were they waiting for me to do something like that?

Apparently, Zelle wants me to have Elizabeth send me an extra $400 to upgrade my personal account to business. So she sends me $800 total and I refund the extra $400. This doesn't make sense to me at all, so I call the number from the email. A nice customer support person tries to guide me through this whole situation, but he never made it make sense, so I started really digging in. The email was sent from a Gmail account. The phone number is totally different than Zelle's actual number, and when I called the real number, I couldn't get in touch with a human. I told Elizabeth I will talk with my bank tomorrow about this and I haven't heard back from her. I could see how some people might fall for something like this. I'm glad I didn't trust the email even though it appeared official. I hate these scams nowadays. It's making me not trust anyone about any kind of online sale. I guess I just gotta trust my gut and if something seems fishy, it probably is. |

We are first-time homer buyers and our offer on a Seattle home was recently accepted. The buyer's agent called us and said there's a strong offer that's expiring in three hours. The listing had only been active for two days, and it was our second time seeing the house. She asked us if we were willing to go higher. We did the math, offered our max price without putting a CMA together due to the high time pressure. Our agent had to scramble and put the offer letter together. Our agent did not stop us as she thought the house was of the value that we were offering. The buyer's agent kept pushing our agent seeing if we could offer more as the other buyer matched our offer. Eventually, we had to waive inspection and financial contingencies to win the bid.
Waiving inspection was fine, as our agent knew the pre-inspector and he did an awesome job. The appraisal came in just 10k lower (our offer was over 1 mil). However, the seller did not agree to lower the price or meet us in the middle as we didn't have an appraisal contingency in the contract. This was kind of the last straw knowing the stressful buying experience that the buyer's agent put us through (but yes, we also take responsibility for our decision) and knowing the house had issues like knob and tube, an old water heater, and an older roof that have 5 -10 years left from the pre-inspection report.
My partner and I liked the house enough. It has a good school district, it checks all the boxes, but not at the price point along with all the waived contingencies (but yes it was ultimately our decision, and we kinda messed up). My partner eventually mentioned that she probably wouldn't be here for more than 5 years, as she prefers other neighborhoods after we spent some time walking around the neighborhood. We are now experiencing strong buyer's remorse deciding if we should back out from the deal and lose our earnest money (4%) while we still can. - How do I find a round diamond that doesn't have a dull middle and doesn't have a discernible "arrow" pattern? Is there something that I should be looking for in the diamond images? Should I being plugging cut specifications into an online ASET viewer? How accurate are these online ASET estimations?

Before that I had known them since 6th grade and we talked here and there, never any flirting or relationship talk or anything. Just the one hookup and we agreed it meant nothing.
I had JUST gotten out of two back to back abusive relationships and was raped a couple weeks before we hooked up. I didn't have feelings then, I was just trying to run away from my problems. My bf asked me to block him when we got together and I did. I ended up reaching back out in January - which my bf knew about. I sent this person a long message to apologize for some of my actions/behaviors from the last time I saw them. I was holding a lot of guilt from my avoidance issues and using them to get over my trauma.
They ended up responding after a few weeks and we kept in contact for a bit. I didn't tell my bf that until March. At the time I justified it to myself that I needed a friend who wasn't my bf as we were going through a lot of issues at the time. He's very insecure, and kind of controlling. I was scared to be honest with him. When we got together he pressured me. He told me all these nice things would happen and that he wanted to protect me after the bad people I was with. I was resentful that he hasn't followed through on his promises. He's never taken me on a date, didn't even technically ask me out, won't give me any personal time which is very important to me, and shoots down every idea I have (going back to college, traveling, going to concerts and stuff, things that are very important to me). So to me, talking to my ex friend was just a way to escape the stress from my current partner.
At the time I was talking to them (and again currently...) I was reevaluating my relationship. I love my partner so much. But i see a lot of incompatibilities and at the end of the day the relationship is more stress than anything else. He reassures me it's no issue, but the reality feels different. I don't really have other friends. So talking to this person was an escape. It was a person who liked my daydreams and thought it's cool that I want to do more with my life. But I felt guilty and came clean to my partner. It didn't go well. He says I cheated on him.
The other day he read the chat thread between me and that person. There were no explicit messages. When he asked to meet up I blew him off. But my bf is so focused on a couple messages and says it's proof I was flirting. The messages were the person talking about their crush and how they got flustered, so i sent a 'boner alert' meme. The other was them asking when i get off work and if im free to hang out and i said i work 10-10 - meaning that im busy all day with no time to hang out and thats how they took it as well. There was never any intent to hook up. I never even considered it. I felt guilty the whole time which is why I told my partner. I blocked the person again a couple weeks later.
I understand if he feels that i cheated then it counts as cheating. I just don't know how to move past it. He wants to talk about it 24/7. He's been staying at my house non stop since I told him because he needs to keep an eye on me. I've literally been missing school assignments because he won't leave me alone to focus, or if i try to do homework he pouts and makes it miserable. He's constantly asking what that smell on me is when it's just the same deoderant ive been wearing for years. I'm scared to look at my phone at all because when i do he gets upset. I can't shower alone, he has my location, if i don't text him all day at work he gets mad and i already got in trouble for being on my phone. He even called my best friend and put him in the middle of a fight.
I feel like i need space. Last night he got mad at me because i wanted to put hand sanitizer on myself instead of him doing for it. Two days ago i asked him to leave and he ignored it, instead telling me i need to come hug him and that he'll drop things until we get into therapy together and that we can just have a nice time. I thought when we got together he wanted to help me with my trauma. That's what he said. I feel like he just triggers me and blames me instead. This morning hes been texting me telling me I'm not changing anything. But Friday we agreed to drop things until therapy because we can't have a productive conversation.
I feel so stuck. I feel like I'm going crazy. I didn't cheat. I know I messed up, I lied, and I was dishonest. I'm trying to make up for it. But everything i do is the wrong thing. All round I love the phone, but there has been two issues: Gallery not recognizing any faces(seems weird for an AI branded phone, but this is not the reason for this post) and the battery. I wouldn't call myself a heavy user with my phone. I get very busy with work, which involves personal meetings and laptop work more, so my phone's usage consists of not much phone calls, Spotify playing in the car when moving around, texting and mainly short videos on Facebook/Instagram on downtime. (No games or anything heavy) Having said that, here is my SOT around 3hours. The feeling that I get is that the battery keeps draining much more than my old phone when I'm not using the phone, I understand the drainage when I'm actually using it, but I can lose a lot of % while not using my phone. Performance mode: Light AOD: wallpaper Diagnostics: Good Apps: the shown apps on the screenshot but nothing showing excessive use nor any alerts.(the apps don't add up to the % used at all or not even close) Update: May 2024 The phone gets me through the day but I feel that I have to restrict myself towards the middle of the day with my usage.
