How does this delta-sigma modulator works without an clock signal.

I've been recently studying about delta-sigma modulators trying to understand an schematic of an amplifier, while i came across this simulation of 2nd order D-S modulator, by far this is what i was able to understand from this image, correct me if I'm wrong somewhere. the first OP-AMP with sine input acts as an Error amplifier to subtract the feedback signal from 1 bit DAC( 5th OP amp ), this output from input op amp is fed to an integrators to shape the noise. My question is 1) If i try to remove the 2nd integrator and connect the output of 3rd OP amp and try to convert it to an first order modulator, it doesn't seem to work. 2) How is the self oscillating condition developed. Link towards the simulation Thanks.

2024.05.18 19:13 Confusedx2d API fields

Does anyone know where I can find a list of fields downloadable via the Tasty Trade API? I am looking to get a my daily portfolio Delta, Portfolio Theta and the Trade group name associated for each of my trades. Say if I do a ratio spread, I would group those 2 trades into a group by give that group a name. Have you seen this value in any field list? It transfers across the web version, Mobile version and Desktop version, so hoped it could be downloaded as well.

2024.05.18 00:35 SqueegeeSorcerer I sold FFIE puts

Sold the 1P a month out for 0.4 each when the stock was trading above $3 this morning. Since it closed around $1 the puts are now worth around 0.7 each.
Actually thought I would get clapped harder than that, but I guess I’ll spend all weekend praying to the delta, theta, and IV gods. I’m not very religious, but I will be for the next 35 days.

2024.05.17 21:41 maddoggunner53 Fun Deck List Idea: ALIEN INVASION!!! (Alien Tribal (or typal... i guess)

I created a decklist on moxfield with the idea of it being an alien tribal now that we have a bunch of alien cards from the Doctor Who set. The cards had no apparent theme to them when you just put together the creatures with alien as their creature type. So I thought I should make the theme invading Earth. This would mean they would need ships to get there and that once they got there they would destroy the Earth. This made me come up with the idea of a funny MLD Alien Tribal deck. It really only goes for big combos where you would pop off say [Armageddon] and [heroic intervention] or something like that. Was wondering if people thought it needed more land destruction, more on theme alien cards or lands or anything, or any other fun ideas people may have?

2024.05.17 16:33 Axll94Fr theta

theta
https://optionalpha.com/learn/theta
https://quant.stackexchange.com/questions/73613/can-european-call-option-on-stock-have-positive-theta-assume-positive-interest/73629#73629

https://preview.redd.it/sn20xsv7zz0d1.png?width=803&format=png&auto=webp&s=9f39d96b0ce81ab5b0925a5d1aaca5723f6852a9
Theta

https://preview.redd.it/05acm8j8zz0d1.png?width=723&format=png&auto=webp&s=53a7e7138abb22ce03677cd7a82c9e3bf40867a3
https://preview.redd.it/of1juxh9zz0d1.png?width=913&format=png&auto=webp&s=fee8a4138230f116f3328bd152cdc52347bf01f9
https://preview.redd.it/ixbzo2pazz0d1.png?width=650&format=png&auto=webp&s=dc682a399da8a98fd74fb12f00bce65ae8847ada

2024.05.17 15:30 XBlueXFire Finished ZTD, time to rant.

Well...Damn. This game dissapointed me.
Let's just start by looking at it as a video game in isolation. While I understand the intent behind the story fragment structure, it was rather unfun to actually play through. I did not like getting locked out in VLR and ZTD made it just as tedious. Something that'd often happen is that I'd be going down one timeline, hit a roadblock, have to go down another timeline, hit a roadblock but unlock the first timeline, but then I have to try and work out what had happened back then. It's just frankly not fun to experience a story in this way, regardless of how much sense it makes narratively.
The decisions were another point of unfun imo. In VLR at least, picking the bad option is only really required for completionism (mostly, there is that case in the Alice route for example). Whereas in ZTD you have to go down bad scenarios to get vital info. I can't speak for anybody else, but I don't enjoy being forced to make these choices. Thats probably just a personal taste though.
NOW FOR THE BIG ONE! The story
Sheesh, what do I have to say about this? My biggest gripe about VLR was that it never felt like it ended, it just stopped, which ultimately made the entire game's story feel like it didn't matter because it was all prelude to other events. ZTD practically does the exact same ending. The entire events of the game were all for the purpose of training the protagonists so that they would go and try and save the world. Will they succeed? Who knows :P. Bar for bar, same ending, different characters. Like...WHY? What was the point of all this shenaniganry? Why won't they just give a payoff?! I can't stand it!
I really don't like Delta as an antagonist in this story. He has the charimsa of a poster, his motivations other than ensuring his own birth sound dumb to me considering Free the Soul is such a big organization ontop of him being an ESPer, I cannot fathom why neither he nor Crash Keys could track down that one fanatic and just kill him individually.
I am well aware we're told in game that things had to happen the way they happened for the possible good future to even occur but let's take a step back from the in universe explanation and look at it from a writer's POV. After the events of VLR, Brother and Free the Soul were established as being a big organization who released Radical-6 in the Dcom facility for the purposes of wiping the slate clean and create their new world. Sigma and Phi had been trained in their SHIFTer abilities in the AB project for the purposes of preventing this big plot and save the world. ZTD's story takes VLR's setup and says "Nah, imma do my own thing". Like..Why? Because of the choices they made in writing this story, I honestly think you could play 999 and ZTD, skipping VLR entirely and not lose anything. Everything you need to know about VLR is told to you early on by Sigma and Phi, and it never ever matters in practice. I can't understand why they chose to write it this way.
Lets shift gears and look at the characters. I liked Carlos, he was honestly a very enjoyable protagonist. No real complaints there. Him already being a natural at SHIFTing kinda invalidates the AB project Sigma and Phi had to go through but thats one of the lesser issues with the narrative.
Mira was weird. Her being the heart ripper never really got the narrative weight it deserved I feel. Other than a few scenes for shock value, the whole ordeal is just left to the background. The epilogue story even suggests that they're going for a redemption arc, which just seems like a sudden massive off screen character change from Mira. In some of the endings she was just outright evil, like when she infected Phi or murdered everybody.
Eric's backstory is dark. Like damn. Sheesh. That said, the dude's a massive prick. I think his only purpose in the story is to be a loose cannon who can be easily manipulated, which kinda made him really annoying for me to watch. He doesn't ever come across as he has much agency as a person.
Diana's sweet. Luna 2.0 (Or i guess Luna's Diana 2.0), and her backstory is equally messed up. Like..Sheesh. I find the whole story of her and Sigma being Phi and Delta's parents as really bizzare though. They explain it nicely within the story why that is, but still. Why? Why have children in the first place when you know you're going to starve? Why send them to 1904? Why did the germans send baby Phi to 2008? The epilogue even implies that the researcher couple who raised Phi was actually old Phi and her husband. Like...Why? What does this achieve narratively? It feels like a twist for the sake of a twist, but there's no weight there. Nothing gets changed.
Sean's weird. I got the impression he only exists to exposit info to the playecharacters. Other than that his inclusion doesn't really amount to much. The files say that the characters called him Sean all the time throughout the story, but I can't recall a single instance where that was the case. Whenever they asked who Sean was, he said he didn't know. The twist feels kinda clumsy if you ask me.
Onto the returing cast, Junpei became an absolute prick post 999. You can argue that Junpei wasn't exactly a saint in 999 either, however he's needlessly douchy in this game imo. It honestly feels like he's just a different character who happened to share the same name. Overall not a fan.
Akane was fine. I'd think she'd be a bit more cold and Zero-like considering it was post 999's events, however she still showed that she's really intelligent and was a strong presence throughout the game. She's probably among the better written characters throughout the entire series imo.
Sigma kinda annoyed me in this game. Dr. Klim despite his decades of experience is kinda dumb not gonna lie. The dialogue he has during escape rooms and the decisions he makes it feel like its 22 year old Sigma in the driver's seat rather than Dr. Klim, mastermind of VLR. I've already ranted about him fathering Phi and Delta in the Diana paragraph so I'm not gonna repeat myself here. I do wonder why he's so swole in this game though. VLR Sigma looked like an average guy but in this game he's built like a machine. He shouldn't have any time to get this buff however considering he infiltrates Dcom right after getting back into his young body.
Phi's mostly true to her VLR self which wasn't a lot. I'm left wondering what purpose she really served as a secondary protagonist. Is her job just to get killed so that Sigma and Diana choose to transport so that they'll eventually have Phi and Delta? That just makes it sound like Phi could've realistically been any random character, which is a shame considering we spent all of VLR getting to know her better.
Overall view on the series
999 is easily one of the best visual novels I've ever gotten to experience. The routes structure is much more enjoyable from a gameplay perspective because you're never forcibly stopped midway through the story. The story also actually gets a payoff in its finaly and the series could've honestly just been that one adventure.
VLR was a dissapointing followup to 999, being too detached for its own good. The timeline jumping structure is just frustrating to play through which works against the story's ability to be enjoyable. The lack of a proper payoff at the finaly also makes the game's events feel meaningless.
ZTD is VLR done again. It only has a reason to exist because VLR didn't deliver on its promises, and this game suffers from the same exact fate. It too doesn't really pick up from where the last game left off, and also does not give a satisfying payoff to anything that's been built up. The truly sad thing is that it didn't need to be this way. VLR gave them solid setup but they just chose to disregard it.
I wonder if each game was written with the intention of working as a self contained thing. Truly I don't believe you actually need to play any of the other games to understand the respective stories. All context that matters is given to you rather smoothly. I don't get why they would want this however for a connected series though.
The whole ALL-ICE storyline also has officially gone nowhere, and I will be grumpy about that for all eternity.
Rant over.

2024.05.17 15:29 HrCookie Verification focused bachelor's projects?

Have anyone hire done their bachelor's project with focus on post-silicon verification? And if so, would you mind telling a bit about it?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm interviewing for an internship in a company that make their own chips. If I get the position, I'm most likely going to work on projects that is in post-silicon verification. And by now, I have found that the company's like the applicant to have some ideas for somewhat relevant batchelors projects, to end the internship.
The problem is that I do not have any experience with verification, but mostly with the analog design part of ASIC's design. Most recently I designed a LDO for a delta-sigma ADC and did layout and post-layout simulations.
So If anyone could give me some ideas for what a verification focused project might involve or look like, I would be very grateful.
