2024.02.26 19:19 R3dVulp3x Continues BSOD due Audiodg.exe

Hi. I have a Windows 11 machine (Acer Nitro 5) that is failing with BSOD every time I play Helldivers 2. I have disabled all Audio enhancements on all Audio devices (laptop speakers, monitor speakers, headset). I have reinstalled the drivers and I have done a clean Windows 11 installation. Issue still happens.
What else should I try? Do you know if that's Helldiver's failure or my PC's?
Here is what I get from the System Reliability Monitor BSOD:

2024.02.26 04:21 turkey_sausage Arctis Pro Wireless, "Artcis Pro Wireless Game" silent, and killing performance (+Solution)

Hello! Research shows that this issue has been reported by others, but I didn't find a solution. My solution is to uninstall Steelseries GG software. GG.
Symptoms: Multiple Audio devices associated with AWP, Arctis Pro Wireless Game and Arctis Pro Wireless Chat. When "Game" is selected, not only is there no audio, but my desktop performance tanks. This is because among other things, Windows Error Reporting is crazy-go-nuts, and writing multiple error logs per second.

Win11 (aced nitro 17) allocating an absurd amount of RAM to Lost Ark and games. (Low graphic settings)
It’s gone up from using 5-7GB to 14GB+
I’ve noticed this recently (wasn’t the case upon purchase about a year or so ago.
I play nothing else but this and iTunes has been the only additional software I’ve installed on the system.
My GPU’s driver is kept up to date via the GeForce app and the rest using windows updates/ care centre.
The power plan is set to max performance with cool boost enabled.
Small little things like background apps like discord/ overlays/ game mode are also adjusted accordingly for performance.
This unit is among the few I get a chance to get my hands on and work with at my workplace so I’ve had the permission and chance to test this on a brand new unit with a ‘fresh’ windows install.
The difference was ~5gb or so hence I’m determined it’s not the software’s fault and sending the unit for health checks/repairs will only result in a return with no action taken.
I’ve attempted to raise this with Acer (with the msconfig and gpu/cpu/bios health checks) support who attempted to blame intel (display deriver) who then did almost the same thing and tried blaming Nvidia for who attempted sharing some setting knowledge qol’s but no feasible l explanation has been given yet.

2023.12.16 13:28 X-Darkace-X Constant crashing on PC

First of all these are my specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte 650m k
Ram:PNY XLR8 32GB (2x16GB) XLR8 Gaming MAKO EPIC-X RGB DDR5 6000MHz
GPU: PNY 4080
CPU: ryzen 7900
Nvme: samsung pro 2tb heatsink
Psu: Adata XPG Kyber 750W 80+ Gold
My temps are fine and PSU watt output is fine from what I can see. The game is crashing within 5mins, i'm only playing 3440x1440 and GPU is only running at 50% and 55c. only 200 watts from GPU being used. My frames are at 165fps and just keep crashing to deskop every few mins. I have disabled expo and still the same result. When i locked my frames at half 82. I managed to actually finish an online game but this time after the game my PC rebooted.
I had the following mini dump from the reboot, does this mean anything to anyone?

2023.08.19 10:45 Yoseby8 Please help!

Please help!
The game worked fine in the morning. I usually have about 190 fps or so.
Randomly during a guaridan raid. my fans went absolute batshit crazy on fullpower and my game's fps dropped below 30.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the nvidia graphics and game drivers and changed the graphics settings to best performance.

I'm 3 hours into attempting to fix this with no avail.

Please help!

2023.04.12 21:40 YoWhatsGoodie Audiodg.ex crashing Windows 11 22H2

I am having an issue using a Biamp Tesira x400 on Dell Latitude 5430 and OptiPlex Micro 7000 running Windows 11. I have another Latitude 5430 with Windows 10 and the issue does not happen. On the 5430 and OptiPlex 7000 running Windows 11, the microphone and speakers will either disconnect when joining or during a Zoom/Webex/Teams meeting. Biamp equipment has most recent firmware and is compatible with Windows 11, both 5430 and OptiPlex 7000 are fully up to date on drivers/bios. I've disabled Audio Enhancements in Sound Control Panel for the USB device as this was a reported issue with Biamp on earlier Windows versions.

2023.04.10 23:08 YoWhatsGoodie Tesira X400 directly connected to Dell Optiplex 7000 via USB having audio issues

EDIT: Dell has issues a fix for this for Optiplex 7000s and Latitude 5430. Update your audio Realtek drivers from Dell Command Update or Dell’s support site to Realtek 6.0.9509.1
We recently begun upgrading some PCs to windows 11 and I am now noticing in certain conference rooms the microphones/speakers are disconnecting when using Webex/Zoom/Teams. The error I am seeing is a faulting application called audiodg.exe in Windows event viewer.
I have an open case with Dell since our Tesira firmware is all on the latest version. Just wondering if someone else has encountered a similar issue?

2023.01.01 22:08 Rovananakia Laptop crashing when gaming, having to perform a CMOS battery restart to be able to turn on laptop again

Hello, my laptop pretty much has desktop level components so I though It'd ask here. So my laptop completely crashed and shut down while gaming, I was carefully checking my CPU and GPU temps, and the time it shut down, my CPU was 75 and my GPU 50 C, opening event viewer and reliability, I found these two apps at fault: MBAPO264.dll, audiodg.exe. Now, my laptop did crash yesterday the same, but didn't report what crashed, just that windows was unexpectly shut down. I have no idea why would these two could be able to crash my laptop this hard, but probably because one is litteraly a system file. Specs here:
i7 11700k rtx 3070 64gb ram 1tb OS SSD 2tb SSD
Error message (This is from event viewer admin, reliability wrote some words in my native launguage):

2022.12.12 22:08 WWmarley BSOD on windows 10

Had a previous post here: https://www.reddit.com/techsupport/comments/zgzz1c/blue_screen_and_driver_issue_on_windows_10_home/
I've upgraded my pc essentially replacing it with a new build at this point. I've been having driver issues where my mouse and keyboard stop working and won't reconnect and today i've been hit with a BSOD.
Any help appreciated.

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT
CPU 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400F (12 CPUs) ~2.5GHz
Memory: 32gb DDR4
dmp file from the BSOD gives the following when put through windbg
output:DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION (e6)

2022.12.04 22:24 Mfisk323 Svchost.exe hanged

Just today I was booting up my computer and after that happened my PC was acting strange. Videos were not able to play on my browser, they just got stuck on loading, and no sound was playing whatsoever. I reset it and the computer blacks out, but it's still running. After a hard reboot, everything's good again, and I check the reliability monitor and this is what it had to say. If anyone can help me on what's going on, I appreciate it. Source

2022.11.27 11:36 Seregant How to fix 0xC0000005 STATUS ACCESS VIOLATION [GUIDE]

Hi
I recently had a lot of the above-mentioned error, it was at random but when it occurred while I was the game master in one of our units Ops, I decided to fix it once and for all. I had a little rabbit hole, and saw a lot of possible solutions, none worked for me. Following is a guide I think that will solve most occurring errors when it is caused by another program like a Headset hub.
Following I will give a short explanation on why it makes sense to take this route, just for a better understanding of the steps.
While I saw that most on the internet just made guesses and suggested this and that, I went the other way, looking at the logs. A while back I saw a very good presentation about why some solutions on StackOverflow work for you and some doesn’t, it is because a computer can have more states than atoms in the universe. This means that the chance for such a broad error like the ACCESS VIOLATION one, that your computer has the same state as the one suggesting a solution is rather slim.
That is why we need to look at the logs to figure out why it failed on our state. Logs seem daunting at first, but I will tell you what you can ignore and what information’s are important, that you can quickly see what program interferes with ArmA 3.
As far as I can tell a access violation is not particularly an error that occurs within ArmA, it means that memory got accessed that ArmA is not allowed to. Computers have this memory protection to protect it, as an a example, from buffer overflow attacks, this is very important in this day and age, but can mean that some programs will crash due to that limitation (We can argue that it is fixable, but I’m not here to judge). This tells us that we will mostly find an answer to this problem not in the logs of ArmA but inside the logs of Windows, those logs can tell us what program or location ArmA tried to access and why it got blocked.
Lets find out why ArmA crashes with the status access violation:
  1. Start ArmA to get the error (or when you know the time it occurred you can skip this step)
  2. Now open the start menu (or click the Windows-Key)
  3. Enter “event”, a program called “Event Viewer” will show up
  4. Start it
  5. This is a kind of log collector of windows
  6. Click on “Administrative Events”
  7. Now you will see a long list of Warnings and Errors, we are interested into the Errors
  8. Scroll down the list to the time of the ArmA crash
  9. You will see two Entries that have a source called “Application Error”
  10. The first one is thrown by ArmA, we are interested by the second one this one made ArmA crash
  11. Click on it and now on the window below some information will display
  12. That’s it, those information will tell you what program to close before starting ArmA, or will tell you what exactly made ArmA crash. This information is also valuable when you post other errors to a forum btw.
Example of a possible entry that solves the issue:
Faulting application name: AUDIODG.EXE, version: 10.0.19041.1865, time stamp: 0x61fdcc50 Faulting module name: dtstech64.dll, version: 4.0.3.0, time stamp: 0x5ad0fb6e Exception code: 0xc0000409 Fault offset: 0x00000000000245cc Faulting process ID: 0x57ec Faulting application start time: 0x01d90247282cf383 Faulting application path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\AUDIODG.EXE Faulting module path: PATH AND NAME OF APPLICATION THAT MAKES PROBLEMS
I hope this helps others that had the same problem but were also stuck on countless solutions that did not work on their machines.

2022.11.25 14:12 MatrixBunny PC Crashing (for users with audio/microphone software) Solution

Personally been getting two types of freezes:
- Game randomly freezes, let's me move, BUT mic in-game (and Discord call) do not work anymore. - Game randomly freezes, let's me move, then freezes again right after > crashes + crash report.
I found out that Ghub (Microphone software for Blue Yeti) was MY reason for the crashes.
Perhaps it wasn't just Ghub and different microphone/headset software conflicts with the game.
To find out if this might also be the case for you:
- Go this location : Local Disk (C:) > Users > My Username > AppData > Local > Activision > Call Of Duty > crash_reports
- Filter on the most recent crash
- Open the .zip file (I recommend 7Zip)
- Open dxdiag_oncrash.txt
- Look for '' AUDIODG.EXE'' CTRL + F (to find quickly within the text file)
Example from my own crash report:
+++ WER2 +++:
Fault bucket 1679273010020843478, type 4
Event Name: APPCRASH
Response: Niet beschikbaar
Cab Id: 0
Problem signature:
P1: AUDIODG.EXE
P2 etc.. etc..
If you get the same description as this, then it is infact your audio/mic software!
file Next:
- Open Sys32 ( c:\Windows\System32\logi_denoiser\ )
- Uninstall your microphone/audio software
- Check if the folder ''logi_denoiser'' is removed after uninstalling; if not, you need to manually delete the folder.
Try to play the game now and see if you still get the random crash/freeze.

2022.11.23 17:32 radluke96 How I finally stopped crashing (PC)

After 3 weeks of trying to fix this damn game I finally found the problem.
To be clear I have tried just about every other fix you have seen, drivers, underclocking/volting, settings, xmp.. You name it I have tried it.
I have a program called LGHUB for my microphone (Blue Yeti). Some of the files that this program installed was crashing my game over and over.
Check eventviewer then application (you can also check the crash logs in the call of duty folder). If you see AUDIODG.exe as a faulity application, have a look at the faulting module path.
If the file is in the folder \logi_denoiser\ then I have some good news! This is caused by LGHub and you need to get rid of it.
TLDR: Uninstall Logitech HUB and/or Nvidia Broadcast.

2022.10.29 05:11 Fanky_memes Suffering from The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found (WINDOWS 11) Windows 11

This issue started maybe on the 17th, from room arrangements I got a new desk but that doesn't have to do with anything. So I started having my audio crash almost where my headset and mic would drop but not drop a connection from when viewing in logitech GHUB, I started getting angery at this issue so I figured why not spend sometime on this, I've been looking that the event viewer in the error section there are a lot of these:
The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
\Device\Video3
Error occurred on GPUID: 2b00
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
I searched everything on the internet and tried to fix this problem by uninstalling my graphic drivers, doing a clean install of my nvidia drivers, removing my gpu from the mobo cleaning it off and reinstalling, I updated my bios to the newest version. and been trying to monitor things but everything stays the same. I get the same error code from before as stated above. I literally don't know what to do now because I can't find the Event ID 0 on the internet, only solutions "related" to the problem. I can't play any games because they have the audio issue then a few seconds later the game crashes, when the audio issue happens as well my headset audio and mic goes out then I have to rebind the audio in the games for them to work again, the headset automatically reconnects with sound while the mic I have to reset up.
Any help would be very much appreciated because I'm at the point of buying a new GPU because of this.
EDIT: Also found the error codes when the Audio crashes happens as well I think this is just one out of many

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro - Ryzen 7 6800H, 3070Ti 8GB GDDR6; 32GB - small review and Benchmarks
I've had a couple folks DM me and ask for performance after I've commented on a few posts.
My main use is for business, CAD, 3D Modeling, Sketchup/Catia, Rendering, light gaming.
Product Page:
Microcenter Link to Legion
They have i7 version at MicroCenter now for just a bit more and I might have bought that at the time if it was available. But I’m sor far happy with the AMD.
This laptop is probably more than I really need but it was in stock, price was within budget, and the case is a solid build. Other than my desktop builds (currently AMD) I haven't had a laptop since 2007 so I've been out of the loop on features and such for a while.
I can't say much more than what's been said already in other post reviews about the case and overall function. Everything was updated upon first startup and I have not really done any other changes to settings from factory other than some adjustments in Vantage.
I've had no issues with anything. It does seem to take a bit longer than I would expect on startup but I'm so used to my desktops firing right up maybe this system is different
Charging...
Since I don't game much I don't really have concerns for battery drain other than when I'm on a job site but it's easy to lower battery drain enough with Vantage to keep enough juice for what I need. My battery conservation mode when plugged in allows for 75-80% contrary to what many other folks are saying as they have much lower conservation percentage. Screen shot for proof...
75-80% of capacity
I have an old HP USB C charger that says 65w and it’s working in the USB C PD slot.
I also bought Anker 100w charger and it works fine.
Anker 100W USB C Charger, 736 Charger (Nano II 100W), 3-Port Fast Compact Wall Charger for MacBook Pro/Air, Google Pixelbook, ThinkPad, Dell XPS, iPad Pro, Galaxy S22/S20, iPhone 13/Pro, and More https://a.co/d/cyWbfIl
Make sure you have a 100w compatible cable. I bought this one:
Anker New Nylon USB C to USB C Cable 100W 10ft, USB 2.0 Type C Charging Cable Fast Charge for MacBook Pro 2020, iPad Pro 2020, iPad Air 4, Galaxy S20, Google Pixel, Switch, and More(Black) https://a.co/d/09pJu8V
There are others like it but that’s the one I got. Make sure it supports 100w or it won’t work.
Case/Bag
Purchased this on recommendations found in this sub. It's nice, has plenty of room for chargers, pens, a mouse, and other miscellaneous things that I might need when I'm on the go to a client site. The interior padding is not the best but the laptop fits well and I'm not super concerned.

I also bought this case because I was not sure if I wanted a bag or just a sleeve and use one of my existing messenger bags for all the other stuff. Right now I think I'm sticking with the Lenovo bag but this tomtoc sleeve is really nice and has a ton of protection. I'm a bit crazy with all my peripherals and cords so it's best if I can keep everything in one bag and this case is too thin to keep even the travel charger and mouse and a pad of paper and misc pens and cords. The 16'" laptop fits fine with some room leftover. It's so soft inside with really nice dense padding all around that I would confident in it protecting the laptop from a short drop. Even with the extra space seen in the photos the laptop was snug and the sleeve material is really grippy and really did not slide around in the sleeve unless I really shook it.

So soft and fuzzy would be nice to climb in on a winters day
Factory 300w charger in the pocket. Nothing else would fit.

Benchmarks
I don't really know much about benchmarking as I'm not tuning for graphics intense gaming but had some folks take interest in the performance so I ran a few. Ask any questions.

2022.08.15 21:30 AnAggressivePo Black desert blue screening

This issue started yesterday. I have never bluescreened up until now. I have tried multiple programs/methods of updating drivers, and repairing registries and files, yet it still blue screens. I have restarted, ran scans, supposedly repaired messed up files and even got the game to work again last night after rolling my pc back to a previous version with the restore feature. Getting on again today the game blue screens after loading again,
the stop codes I get are as follows, "KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED", "KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE", and "IRQL GT ZERO AT SYSTEM SERVICE."
My two last ditch efforts are reinstalling the game (I know I should have tried by now) or once again rolling back my pc to a previous version but I'm unsure if it'll work again and dont want to keep losing stuff.
If anyone can help me with this issue please do.
In my event logs I also get this "Faulting application name: AUDIODG.EXE, version: 10.0.19041.1503, time stamp: 0xc40fe88f

Some of these logs make me wonder if the issue could be stemming from an administrative issue, or issues with my razor headset and it's programs/applications/drivers.
