2024.05.18 19:53 myownmaze Husband had Tinder on phone

Well, I never thought I would face a situation like this! We are together for 13 years( in relationship for 4.5 years before marriage) and have two kids. Ours is an inter state marriage and we both stood our grounds and convinced our parents. We had our lows and highs. I love(d) him and till now believed that he too did.
Few days back, I was searching for some document in my husband's Gmail (we know each other phone passcodes, it's never been a big deal). I came across a account registration mail from Tinder and few more 'someone matched with you' mails. I was sick to my stomach. The date of the verification mail is few days before his Thailand trip with his friends. ( 4 years back, and till now he has gone there thrice with friends).
I also saw that he had a screenshot of a Thai grils profile from Tinder ( it was in thai language) and he zoomed in to her location and cropped it , may be to search it on Google translate to find about her location. ( This was before his last Thai trip one year back).
So, I asked him about it. He was shocked. He said it's a mistake and he doesn't know why he did such a thing. He said he set his location to Thailand and chatted with some girls from there and that nothing else happened. ( I don't know if the location thing is possible). He said he didn't talk with anyone in India.
And, I asked him, if he has installed the app again before his last trip. He said he had the app all this while, but hidden in a different profile so I didn't see it even though I use his phone to order things etc.
I tried to download the app and log in from his number, but his profile is banned. So I don't have the chance to have the chats data and all as proofs. He said he doesn't know why his account is banned.
Honestly, I feel it doesn't make sense to believe him. I feel I even if nothing happened, it might be because he didn't get anyone to hookup or that he got scared. The thought of doing something like this itself is cheating.
I feel so betrayed. Like all my dreams collapsed.
Divorce is too complicated. It will break our parents. With kids involved and all, I don't know what to do. I don't have the energy to go through it and take the burden of single parent. For now, I told him, I don't trust him and that he should give me space to process this and think ahead. He said, I should trust him based on our relationship so far and that this is his only mistake. He agreed to give space and told me to take how much ever time I need, but to forgive him finally.
Tl:Dr: Husband used Tinder before his Thailand trips but says nothing happened. He agrees it is his mistake and is asking for forgiveness. I don't know what to do. I feel like my dreams of having a loving partner are ruined.

Addressing this issue involves a blend of verifying SMTP configuration, ensuring correct plugin settings, and adjusting security protocols to accommodate email dispatch. By tackling these aspects, teams can restore the vital flow of information, thereby maintaining a seamless and efficient development cycle. The following sections will explore the common reasons behind email notification failures in Jenkins and offer practical solutions to overcome these challenges.

Solving Jenkins Notification Challenges

When it comes to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, Jenkins stands out for its flexibility and versatility, enabling developers to automate a wide array of tasks. Among its many features, email notifications serve as a critical component, keeping team members updated on the status of builds and deployments. However, users sometimes face challenges with Jenkins' Email Extension Plugin, a powerful tool designed to enhance Jenkins' emailing capabilities. This can hinder the seamless flow of information crucial for maintaining development velocity and ensuring timely interventions when builds fail or require attention.
The complexity of configuring Jenkins, especially with plugins like Email Ext, often leads to issues with sending email notifications. This might be due to misconfigurations, network issues, SMTP server problems, or script errors within the Jenkinsfile. Understanding the intricacies of Jenkins email notifications and the Email Ext-plugin is essential for troubleshooting these issues effectively. This introduction will guide you through the common pitfalls and provide actionable solutions to ensure your Jenkins setup can communicate seamlessly with your team, enhancing collaboration and efficiency in your CI/CD pipeline.

Troubleshooting Jenkins Email Notification Issues

Delving deeper into the realm of Jenkins email notifications, particularly when utilizing the Email Extension Plugin, unveils a series of common challenges that developers and DevOps professionals often encounter. One primary issue stems from incorrect configuration settings within the Jenkins system itself or the plugin. This might include inaccuracies in the SMTP server details, authentication credentials, or the recipient email addresses configured for notifications. Additionally, the Email Ext-plugin offers extensive customization for email content, including the ability to send emails based on specific triggers or conditions. Misunderstanding or misconfiguring these options can lead to emails not being sent when expected, or being sent too frequently, overwhelming recipients with unnecessary notifications.
Another layer of complexity is added by the network and security configurations that can affect email delivery. Firewalls, spam filters, and email server policies can block or reroute emails sent by Jenkins, making it seem as though the system is failing to send emails when, in fact, the emails are being sent but not received. Solving these issues often requires collaboration between the development team and the IT or network security team to ensure that emails are whitelisted and appropriately routed. Moreover, troubleshooting may involve examining log files within Jenkins and the email server to identify and rectify the problem. Understanding the underlying mechanisms of email notifications in Jenkins and how they interact with network and security settings is crucial for diagnosing and fixing issues that prevent successful email delivery.

Troubleshooting Email Notification Issues in Jenkins

Configuring Jenkins to send email notifications using the Email Extension Plugin can be a daunting task, especially for new users. The plugin offers a vast array of customizable options, from simple job status notifications to complex emails with logs, test results, and artifacts attached. The primary issue often lies in SMTP configuration, where incorrect settings can prevent Jenkins from sending emails. This includes the SMTP server address, port, user credentials, and the use of SSL or TLS encryption. Additionally, ensuring that the Jenkins system administration email address is correctly set is crucial, as this is the address used in the "from" field of outgoing emails.
Another common challenge is script configuration within pipeline jobs. The Email Ext plugin allows for scripting email notifications directly within a Jenkinsfile, offering great flexibility but also introducing complexity. Misconfigured scripts can lead to failed email deliveries. For example, using incorrect or unsupported Groovy code, failing to specify recipients correctly, or errors in defining the email content can all stop Jenkins from sending notifications. Furthermore, network issues, such as firewalls blocking the outgoing mail port or issues with the mail server itself, can exacerbate the problem, making it essential for administrators to verify network accessibility and server health as part of the troubleshooting process.

Frequently Asked Questions About Jenkins Email Notifications

  1. Question: Why are my Jenkins email notifications not being sent?
  2. Answer: Common reasons include SMTP configuration errors, incorrect Jenkins system admin email settings, script misconfigurations in the Jenkinsfile, network issues, or problems with the email server.
  3. Question: How do I configure SMTP settings in Jenkins for email notifications?
  4. Answer: Navigate to Jenkins' system configuration page, find the Email Notification section, and enter your SMTP server details, including address, port, user credentials, and encryption preferences.
  5. Question: Can I send emails to multiple recipients using the Email Ext plugin?
  6. Answer: Yes, you can specify multiple recipients directly in your Jenkinsfile or through the Jenkins UI configuration for the job. Use comma-separated values to list multiple email addresses.
  7. Question: How do I attach build logs to email notifications?
  8. Answer: Use the Email Ext plugin's scripting capabilities in your Jenkinsfile to attach build logs. You can use the `attachLog` parameter in your email step configuration.
  9. Question: What can I do if my Jenkins server is behind a firewall and cannot send emails?
  10. Answer: Check your firewall rules to ensure that outbound connections on the SMTP port (commonly 25, 465, or 587) are allowed. You may need to work with your network administrator to adjust these settings.

Wrapping Up Jenkins Email Notification Insights

Ensuring that Jenkins successfully sends out email notifications using the Email Ext-plugin is crucial for the smooth operation of CI/CD pipelines. This article has covered the foundational steps to troubleshoot and configure Jenkins for reliable email delivery, emphasizing the importance of correct SMTP settings, security permissions, and script configurations. Addressing these aspects not only mitigates the issue of undelivered notifications but also enhances the overall efficiency and collaboration within development teams. By paying close attention to the detailed solutions provided, developers can overcome common hurdles, making the most out of Jenkins' capabilities for automated communication. The key takeaway is the importance of meticulous configuration and regular monitoring of Jenkins' email functionality to maintain a seamless flow of updates and alerts, thereby ensuring that teams remain well-informed about the build and deployment processes. This fosters a proactive work environment where issues can be swiftly identified and addressed, ultimately contributing to the success of software development projects.

2024.05.18 18:22 Yeahnoallright Advice, please: iPhone Reminders lists disappeared when I updated a mail account

Hi everyone, hope you're well.
Let me know if a screenshot would help explain the below.
Model: iPhone 13 iOS: 17.4.1
Last week I re-activated/logged into an old Mail account on my iPhone. it was always on my phone but because it's my university account it had deactivated when I paused studies. Let's call it O account.
Anyway, for some silly reason I had Reminders added to O account, started years ago so just kept using that account. I ALSO have Reminders on iCloud.
When I re-activated O mail account this week, I noticed a lot of my Contacts had deleted, so I fiddled about in Settings –> Mail –> Accounts. For each Mail account (I have 4) I toggled Contacts on and off to try restore the contacts.
I really don't think I toggled Reminders on the O mail account at all.
Anyway, when I went to check the Reminders today, they were all gone. I tried to restore on iCloud but then (duh) realised they were separate to my iCloud list.
Hope I'm explaining okay. Any help getting the reminders back from O account would be super appreciated!

It's hard to forget GameStop when media keeps reminding me. The key to this 'article' is the headline. Which stock gets mentioned, when supposedly you are being enticed to buy 'better' choices? The psy-op is huge, but it's not working. That's got to be annoying for the big market manipulators who have always won before by cheating. (And it's been a real education on how many ways they have to cheat - wow!)
Anyway, here's the link if you want to verify.

2024.05.18 15:55 Kamika007z Not receiving email verification after changing primary email account

I'm hoping someone from support or anyone could help us with this:
We're testing out an account and went ahead and added a few endpoints. We then needed to change the primary admin account's email to a different one, however while the password hasn't changed, we aren't able to receive the email verification any more. It never comes through. Nothing in spam, or mail-flow lookup to even indicate that it was delivered. The email would come through fine with the prior address, which we cannot log into as anymore since it was changed.
We tried calling support and left a voicemail however no one responded. To be fair, it was late in the day, but we're hoping someone is able to provide quick assistance with this or offer some direction on how to approach this if there is a better way to do so aside from phone support.
Thank you all!

2024.05.18 14:06 Taindo41 Auto py to exe might be a real virus

EDIT: Missunderstanding, no virus
So i used the auto py to exe with my Thonny app. After i got the exe file, I launched it. When I launched it, a black window opened and instantly closed again. That probably was because I only had definitons that I didnt execute in the py file i converted. So then i opened the exe file with the windows editor and it had 5.5 million characters, that were mostly not-understandable things. I scrolled to the end of the file and found some interesting things like metadata and mail and calendar and even things with "spy" and so on. I immediately deleted the exe file (in the recycle bin too) and deinstalled the tool. But in the settings, i couldnt open the windows security tab, while everything else was working. I restarted the computer and then it worked. I did a full virus scan which didnt detect anything, as well as a offline virus scan. I dont know if the offline scan found anything, but yeah. I also dont know if the probable virus is still on my computer, so now im not logging in to my bank account for example until the problem is solved.
So my theory is, that the auto-py-to-exe python tool works as a py to exe converter, but also steals our data when we launch the exe files we converted. There are a lot of posts and articles about antivirus programs making false positive alarms about those files and people make videos on how to solve that. I think that these alarms arent false positive but real positive.
With this post i want to warn people from this thing and maybe want some help on how to get rid of this thing.
And btw if you guys know how to make a python file, which can only be executed(so for example the turtle makes a triangle) and not be edited or even opened to read, so nobody can see the code or even change it.

2024.05.18 13:16 SolemInCaelum Closed for fraud after one day - Huntington

This situation is honestly just as entertaining as it is frustrating for me. I opened an account at a Huntington bank location as I've heard somewhat good things about them from friends and they opening process was pretty convenient and friendly. I deposited $500 cash, finished up, and went home. About all I had time to do was login on my phone, try to login on my desktop but got told the site was unable to log me in, and then the app stopped working. I go back the very next day to try and withdraw some of the cash I deposited as I needed to use some of it for paying bills only to be told my account is shutdown, locked for fraud, and I'll be receiving more information in the mail.
I guess.. it's fraud to try to login to my own account?
Genuinely unsure what could have possibly triggered fraud. I'm tired of having to use Cash App for all my finances but at least they're pretty transparent about problems with my account and I get actual communication.

2024.05.18 12:56 unnamedDE Link existing account to source not working

I first setup my authentik with MailCow as a source and this is working completely fine. Now I want to add Google and Discord as a source, so I can easily login with every device. I setup both sources like explained in the Authentik docs, but currently the problem is that I can't connect my existing authentik account to my discord and google. After confirming on google/discord website, it redirects to the general settings, shows "Google linked successfully", but when I check the sources again, it is showing as not connected and login via google creates a new account instead of logging into my existing one.
Do I have do change some configuration or am I missing something?

Office of Medical Cannabis Control and Regulation Patient Registry Program Aloha Registered Patients and Caregivers, This message is to inform you of upcoming changes to Hawaii’s medical cannabis laws relating to caregivers and the personal cultivation of cannabis for medical use. If you or your caregiver cultivate cannabis, or plan to cultivate cannabis, there are two significant changes that will be implemented at the end of the year that may impact you. After December 31, 2024:This change will happen pursuant to section 329-130, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS), Authorized Sources of Medical Cannabis. This past legislative session, the Office of Medical Cannabis Control and Regulation (OMCCR) submitted House Bill 2443 (HB 2443), which would have indefinitely extended the authorization for a caregiver to grow cannabis for their patient. Unfortunately, HB 2443 did not pass and the OMCCR is now required to implement section 329-130, HRS, as it is currently written. What this means for you: If you are a medical cannabis patient, after December 31, 2024, your caregiver may no longer grow cannabis for you. Exceptions to this are caregivers for minor patients, adult patients lacking legal capacity, and patients on islands where there is no licensed dispensary. See section 329-130, HRS. You will still be able to grow your own cannabis and must still abide by the rules and guidance regarding growing cannabis for medical use. Your caregiver will still be able to purchase and possess cannabis on your behalf, as long as the amount possessed does not exceed your adequate supply as defined in section 329-121, HRS. Additionally, after December 31, 2024, patient grow sites will be limited to no more than five (5) patients per location. In the coming months, the OMCCR will provide further guidance on how this law will go into effect. In anticipation of this change, if you are a patient registered to grow cannabis at a location used by 5 or more patients or your caregiver is currently registered to grow cannabis for you, you may want to consider making plans to transition your grow site prior to December 31, 2024. If you wish to change your designated grow site at any time, please log into your account at https://medmj.ehawaii.gov to make the change electronically OR complete a change request form at: https://health.hawaii.gov/medicalcannabisregistry/329-forms/ and mail it to: Medical Cannabis Patient Registry 4348 Waialae Avenue, #648 Honolulu, Hawaii 96816 Caregivers will no longer be authorized to grow cannabis for a patient; and A location or grow site can only be used by up to five (5) patients to cultivate cannabis. 2024.05.18 09:47 MadonnaHara Need help after buying a cheap account from PA!

Hello,
2 days ago I bought a 5 eur Fornite account from PlayerAuction from a seller with a lot of reputation and barely no negative reviews. It was a full control account with email login. Provider is Firstmail ( ik it's sketchy already beside the low price )
I received it and immediately changed epic password, set up 2fa with my mobile and changed Firstmail password adding 2fa there as well. Problem is, that night someone was able to login using the mail option in the epic account ( that defeat the whole purpose of having set up double auth ). The day afterm I logged on in game and someone had indeed played/changed skin and adding friends.
The only explanation i get is that someone must still have login to the russian mail and is able to receive and use login auth codes. I was able to boot out every login session from epic yesterday but the same thing happened tonight and unfortunately I can't logout everyone from the mail I guess.
So.. what can I do ? I already reached out the seller and I am waiting for his response. I still have a couple days of warranty on my order so I was wondering what the best course of action would be. Thanks
