Hello xx I need to ask opinions what to do about my marriage or any advice....I know this is a very messy crazy situation so please hear me out...this might end up a long post so be warned.
My personal bsckstory is key to understanding everything so I'll try to keep it short but there's a bit to know. Basically I didn't know my real dad til I was like 39. My mom was so abusive as a result I live with anorexia and bulimia I had since childhood. My step dad gave me sexual trauma and pretty much since I was 14 I've had a boyfriend and all of them were adults....you know the "youre so mature for your age" lie..They all were bad to me but none of them were as bad as the one I was with at 15-18 who physically emotionally sexually and mentally abused me ...and to this day because of the shit he did to me I'm not over it AT ALL no matter how much therapy or inpatient visits I go through. Right after I finally left thay relationship I started doing porn and selling myself. I got into so many dangerous traumatic scary situations from this. But I saved all the money to move far away.
I met my husband here in 2008 and broke up for a few years but got back together and got married. So basically I have known him for 16 years aka a few years past half my life. Hes 7 years older than me. Everything was SO good for years, when we met he helped me escape poverty and learn to take care of myself and really proved someone in this world actually wanted to take care of me. So yes we had ups and downs, I'm definitely not perfect and have put him thru hell at times because I'm so mentally damaged and can get psychotic...I've made a lot of progress on it but the issue now is that I went from being angry and defiant and kinda scary.. now my life's aspiration is to be perfect for my husband and I will do almost literally ANYTHING to make him happy and he absolutely knows this. And the last year or so, knowing this he takes advantage of that.
He is so sexually obsessed with me that its really kinda scary. I mean I tried my best to escape the way of life I had which was basing my worth off being thin and pretty and basically being a thing for men to use like a doll....but now he's turning into one of them and the worst part is his sexual interests are just so absolutely wild and nasty. But none of it is illegal like minors animals etc just to clarify. But the worst things that affect me personally is that he fetishizes prostitution, porn, etc. AKA everything I was that I tried so hard to run from. It wasn't glamorous or sexy or hot, it was shameful traumatic scary and I'd pay a million dollars to erase all the memories of that worst time in my life. I watch movies where the teenagers graduate at 18 and travel and go to university and have friends and cry because ill never know what thats like to be young and have the world open for you. The porn star part I understand up to a point but he takes it too far and the prostitution part just totally hurts me.
So he wants to have sex with me like all the time and he wants me to do things that I really hate but I do them anyway to make him happy. It feeds my eating disorder that I spent years trying to help. Because now I feel like I have to look perfect all the time and now I'm loosing weight and my husband is worried about it but doesn't seem to correlate it together. He does NOT -force- me to do anything I don't want to do sexually however I feel emotionally pressured because I want to please him so so badly. And he gets upset when I don't do it. He also kinda makes me feel neglected emotionally anymore like if he's mad after a fight or something he literally refuses to acknowledge my existence which he knows hurts. We planned a really nice day months in advance and he forgot and did something with his friends and then spun it that I should have reminded him. If I tell him I wanna nap alone he gets all mopey because he has to be up my ass constantly. He just overall makes me feel like I'm not an equal or a spouse anymore but like I'm just there to cater to his sexual desires. I am now left wondering if i was just stupid enough to be decieved at the start or if hes just changed as a person. Until recently I NEVER ever agreed with cheating or ever had any desire to divorce etc as I love my husband so much despite everything.
Well when me and my husband first broke up the first time around I met this guy who I would hook up with. We remained friends throughout everything and I asked his advice on what to do about this and one thing lead to another and we started having an affair. One night I got into a very bad argument with my husband because I lied about bingeing and purging and when I told him that he was making my disorder backslide he got mad and flipped the script and I decided I didn't care anymore. So I do NOT feel bad about this affair at all and I'm sorry if you disagree but put yourself in my shoes for a second...I just don't even SEE proof of love in my marriage and I am SO desperate for love and affection and care that I'm just going to seek it elsewhere. So for about a month I was telling him I was going to my cousin aka my best friend who lives 2 hours aways house a few times a week when I'm cheating. And he didn't think I was cheating but just got angry that I was spending all this time like my cousin did. Just like how my worst ex eventually made it so I had no friends or family anymore. My cousin HATES him and is honestly helping me lie and is covering for me. We argued over this and for the first time ever in 16 years he laid hands on me by yanking me by my hair and out of reflex I back handed him and then threw his shit off the balcony and made him leave. And we are separated right now but still legally married. He only found out about the affair like a few days ago.
The guy from the affair treats me so well and makes me so happy and he is everything I had when I first met my husband that I missed and needed and craved so badly. I feel like a human being with goals and dreams and wants and desires with him. Dreams my husband didn't understand, this one really wants to help me see them come true.
But I still love my husband so deeply and yes I'm in the position to divorce him and be with this new man, but my husband has agreed to go to therapy & Im stupidly hoping it helps and we can try again. But I really love this new guy a lot and I know he's better for me. The thing is that if we got a divorce I don't know how easy it would be but I do have a lawyer ready in case. I'm not being abused etc so I couldn't go from that angle.

I have a GitHub with all of my work on it. This last job I interviewed for was for a cloud op engineer position. The recruiter said the company loved me and my last meeting with HR would be to go over pay. They dragged me through four interviews. Apparently, they were less than 24 hours away from offering me 80k but then an "internal referral" (probably a buddy) came out of nowhere at the 11th hour and they gave him the job. It's always who you know not what you know. And that one was disheartening. I have a family to support and one can only take so much rejection before it starts to get to them.
Thinking of going back and getting a different degree because the market is just so bad and most companies are hiring foreign contractors overseas. Anyone in this boat? Anyone make a switch? If so, what did you switch to? Did you stay in techor leave it all together?

In a bit of a sticky situation at the moment, I was offered a new role 4 weeks ago and accepted it, signed the paper work, did everything required, police check, ref check etc. I put in 2 weeks notice at my previous role and wanted a 2 week holiday between jobs so I’ve been enjoying that the last 2 weeks. I’ve just received an email saying I need to go for a medical, fitness, drug and alcohol test on Monday so I can commence on Tuesday.
I have not received any documentation prior to today, prior to quitting my last role, prior to accepting the formal offer and the policies in their HR platform regarding pre-employment or ongoing drug screenings. I’ve been prescribed cannabis for the last 5 years by my Gastroenterologist and the employer probably won’t give me an exemption. If I had prior knowledge of this I would’ve talked to my Gastro regarding new medications and getting a referral to a dietician to manage symptoms a little better.
What can I do? My last role was a rare one and was paying 140K, my new role was meant to be in a new industry because I wanted to change things up but now it looks like I’m not going to be able to afford my mortgage and will have to find another job similar to my last one except they’re all paying much lower (80-90K) now that Covid’s over and it’s easy to find employee’s so it might be a while before I get something.
Is there anything I can do to this new employer because I’m screwed.

been married for 5 years, have 2 young kids. I (27f) work full time, pay for majority of the house hold things such as groceries, internet, childcare, petrol and im the primary parent and i clean the house and cook occasionally. I also take my kids to childcare in the morning since my husband (25m) starts really early. my husband has been in between jobs and is currently working a job he doesnt like. It makes decent money so if he works a full week which has yet to do, he has enough to cover petrol, rent and groceries but since hes had trouble adjusting, we only have enough for rent which is why ive been covering most of house hold items. My issue is that he is not appreciative. He constantly complains that we fight after every conversation but its because he says things in a way where hes indirectly blaming me. For context before the fight, i spent the morning cleaning the entire house which has been neglected due to a busy week. I told him i only want him to do one thing which is clean the bedroom since i lost my keys. I told him we will go to my grandmas after so he can help her and while he does that i will take our youngest to the doctors for immunisation. He decided to take a nap so i said ok. Then i woke him an hour later and said lets get ready its getting late and im not sure how he will clean since his parents are coming later and so are our friends. He said what are you talking about its already late? And i said so? And i asked him why he said that and he didnt respond. And i kept asking him so what if it is late and he said “you said its getting late so its likely i wont have time to clean the room” and i said well thats not my fault - you should have not napped and just cleaned the room. And he said im sick of every single conversation being a fight. I obviously got upset because all he had to do was just get ready but he wanted to make a comment about not being able to clean the room. Im frustrated because hes the one starting fights. I asked him what more do you want from me? I work ful time and clean and cook and pay bills. He said he wants me to be calm. But how can i be calm when all he does is complain? For example, our son spilt sticky sauce on the floor and all he did was send a picture of it to me. HG-engine (the gen4 equivalent of CFRU, the "Radical Red engine") allows for previously tedious or impossible features, such as a massive dex expansions only seen in Emerald and FireRed decomps. Pokemon, moves, items, and abilities from generations 1-9 are included in this game for you to use and fight against.
Examples of new features are: automatic trick room battles, randomized leads, custom opponent Pokemon nicknames, enemy shinies, dynamic speed calculations, all 4 terrains, Primal Kyogre and Groudon weathers, gradually scaling hard level caps, trainer gauntlets, custom global warp zone to remove HMs, reusable TMs, Nature Mints, new battle items (Weakness Policy, Eviolite, etc...) as well as hundreds of new generation moves and abilities.

If you've read this far, I highly recommend you try this game, the early beta testers have all really enjoyed it. On a very personal note, I have poured easily 600+ hours into development of this game. Many a night has been spent wondering how I can fit more textures into the game for more maps, how to compress songs so that the game doesn't reach the RAM limit, or even how to animate lava textures (which may have taken 4 hours by itself). I learned so much from other knowledgeable hackers, and made so many friends along the way. I especially enjoyed watching other hackers developing their own hg-engine hacks, such as Dray's Aurora Crystal, and taking inspiration from each other. I had so much fun live streaming map design (which you can watch all my hacking tutorials and development process at www.youtube.com/@sauceyaTTa), and I am going to go into detail at some point this summer to explain how I made certain features.

I hate my job, and I’m not planning to go back after maternity leave. If I wasn’t a mom/breadwinner, I would have left months ago even with no job lined up.
I found out that my job partly sucks because my boss and their boss are assuming I’m not coming back so have given me less responsibility/visibility and treating me differently. Their boss is a replacement for the person who hired me who left the company recently, and they’re assuming I’m going to get poached by him after my leave is over (technically it is a correct assumption and he already reached out. But I would have considered staying if they didn’t make it so terrible by assuming I was leaving).
I’m in a US state with relatively good leave and with the addition of PTO/christmas id be gone 6 months. With about 60-70% of salary covered by state, and it’s my understanding I get this whether I’m employed or not because I’ve lived here for over a year.
Then company will top of 12 weeks of it to 80%. They can make you pay their portion back if you leave after, but HR says they wouldn’t actually and havent enforced it (which could be a lie). And finances are tight even if I got 100% coverage 😅. But we have ways to cut back and husband is actively interviewing for positions with more pay.
Is there any point to staying at the company during maternity leave? Or should I just quit before it starts?

As the title says, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald completely tampers with my feelings and emotions regarding it's story, and I wanted to talk about it to see if anybody felt similarly.
Like most American high schoolers, I was required to read the book and watch the movie for my 11th grade English class. Now I usually enjoy English class and the books my school has to offer generally pique my interest, but something was incredibly off about this one in particular. My English teacher, who absolutely loves having me as a student, said it would be the best book we would read out of all four of our high school years, so hearing that you can imagine I was immediately intrigued. It seems like me and my teacher both usually enjoy the stories we read together when having graded discussions on the story because she will chime in every so often, but this time it felt like I was sort of taking a backseat. I also remember the second I picked up the book after it was passed out, it looked like a short, underwhelming piece with a cover that added to my disinterest even more with how confusing it appeared.
Fitzgerald's writing style quickly pushed me away from the story early into the book, especially since there are a good portion of events that don't necessarily appear meaningful in the grand scheme of the story. And that's not to mention the amount of commas Fitzgerald uses in his writing. Many lines in this book were a mouthful. By the time I got to the end of the novel, this feeling didn't change at all, really. It felt like I just read about a group of rich people involved in a love triangle and doing rich people things for 150 pages, and then someone dies and the rich people get upset at each other.
The day after our class final for the novel, we were all asked to take our books out to return them to the teacher. She didn't collect them immediately, though. She was reading emails at her desk or something along those lines. But anyway, it randomly came to me that I hadn't even tried to ever figure out what the purpose of the cover art was in the last 3 weeks I had spent reading between it. The green stroke doubling as both a teardrop and the light, the abstract flashing lights among the city skyline, the eyes and lips forming the face that could portray probably several different characters in the novel, the naked women curled up inside the eyes. What first looked like a jumble of contemporary mess seemed to transform its portrayal into a beautiful piece of calculated harmony. “I was within and without, simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life.” now seemed to describe this perfectly. Apparently, the cover artist, Francis Cugat, made the artwork before the novel was finished. This honestly makes so much sense that Fitzgerald could have been sparked by the piece, too.
After finishing both the book and more recently the movie, the more I catch myself thinking about its story elements the fonder I find myself growing to it. Even though the movie has definitely helped me grasp a further understanding of Fitzgerald's vision, I also want to say that after watching the movie I realize the book also without a doubt stands on its own, especially due to its attention to detail and charming individuality. It's hard to explain, but I see it as this piece of literature that is simply just life. Love, regret, despair, etc. It all seems so typical for a story at first. A bunch of rich people in the 1920s going through immature romantic and platonic issues? Sure, it sounds like you could rather watch paint dry., but every character is so beautifully crafted to represent us: the reader. Even Gatsby himself isn’t over the top likable as a protagonist, exemplifying the complicatedness of the human brain in moral dilemmas. But what I take Fitzgerald ultimately seeks to convey is that all these rich and extravagant facades in life will never cover up the fact that we are all just regular people with regular emotions and tendencies. In this way the book is absolutely timeless.
Of course, I feel like I've gone so far in depth in this post that I would be doing the work injustice if I didn't talk more about the mark this novel etches into my brain. "'Can't Repeat the Past? Why, of Course You Can!'”, "...and the holocaust was complete", and “So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.” are all brilliant lines that are extremely memorable. And sort of extra: the movie's hip hop heavy soundtrack to parallel modern hip hop to jazz of the 1920's is genius, and Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" makes me cry literally so much to the point where I have to avoid listening to it like the plague. Everything put into this work represents the meaning of the story itself perfectly: extravagant and lavish yet simple and grounding.

I'm interested in all types of visual and aural arts. Writing, drawing, listening and composing music, watching movies and photography (I'm an amateur though) are my interests and hobbies. I can chat in real time as well, it's just that I don't get much time throughout the day and I'm active at odd hours. And time zones exist, unfortunately. Please don't message me if you're just looking for people to kill your boredom and later abandon them. No, I'm not being rude. I have had enough. Those one word or one sentence responses lead nowhere. I am open to revealing my identity if we get along well so I would appreciate it if you're open minded as well. But that doesn't mean I want you to reveal your identity in the very beginning itself. I personally think that anonymity acts as a barrier in any kind of relationship. In the past 12 years, I have talked to several people around the globe on different platforms who wished to stay anonymous. I had conversations with them for months and years, but they always considered me as a stranger and eventually left. I'm tired of being a disposable person. What's the point of having a friend without a name and a face? I have no reason to trust someone who doesn't trust me. You can call me picky; I indeed am. I don't want to have conversations where both parties only ask each other about hobbies and interests and leave once they feel there's nothing in common. That's the reason why I asked you to cover those topics when introducing yourself. And just because I have already talked about my interests and hobbies doesn't mean there's nothing more to know about me. Human connection is a lot more than mere interests and hobbies.
I would love to interact with someone who doesn't treat me like an AI chatbot and acknowledges the fact that I'm an actual human being with feelings and emotions beyond the digital screen who spends his valuable time and energy to communicate with people—precious time and energy that I'll never be able to get back. In the end, we are just lost souls yearning for human connection; searching for people who will provide attention and affection and accept us as we are. The messages I send can be way longer than this post if we happen to click, and people who can't read the post entirely won't bother reading my messages properly either, and that would be a waste of time and energy for both individuals. You might have seen my posts very often in case you visit this subreddit on a regular basis, but I assure you that I only post so frequently because I don't receive any responses—and when I do, they're from people who either can't hold a conversation for long or message me without reading the post at all.
A bit about me:
I'm interested in all types of visual and aural arts. Writing, drawing, listening and composing music, watching movies and photography (I'm an amateur though) are my interests and hobbies. I'm broke so I'm not a gamer. I do have a fairly powerful PC but with a low-end graphics card I play older games on. Nothing online though.
Speaking of music, I'm mostly interested in Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, R&B/Soul (both classic and modern). I like listening to The Weeknd, Prince, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Sade, Aaliyah, The Isley Brothers and various artists from the 70s to late 2000s generally. I'm a movie buff so I can recommend you movies too if you're looking for something to watch. And yeah, I LOVE MEMES! Keep sending them all day and I won't complain!
I'm an ambivert (more of an introvert though). My MBTI is INFP-T if that matters. I won't respond to any short messages (4-8 lines). If you want to leave, don't ghost me without stating a reason if we've been talking for longer than two weeks. Your gender, race, sexuality don't matter at all, but tell me your age and gender just so that I know who I am talking to and follow social etiquette. I absolutely love lengthy messages; I don't feel overwhelmed by them. So bonus points if you're capable of typing lengthy messages. I'm a person who would spend an hour(s) typing a well-thought lengthy message rather than having small talk in real time. I type as if I'm writing a letter. I can chat in real time as well, it's just that I don't get much time throughout the day and I'm active at odd hours. And time zones exist, unfortunately. Short messages or long messages, the amount of time and energy you have to spend will be the same anyway.
Please don't message me if you're just looking for people to kill your boredom and later abandon them. No, I'm not being rude. I have had enough. Those one word or one sentence responses lead nowhere. Also, if you're someone who wishes to stay anonymous forever even after talking for a considerable amount of time, I'm not the person you're looking for. This is an important thing to keep in mind. I am open to revealing my identity if we get along well so I would appreciate it if you're open minded as well. But that doesn't mean I want you to reveal your identity in the very beginning itself. However, I won't wait more than three months just for you to reveal your identity if we communicate regularly. In fact, it's a great feat to converse for longer than a month on the internet. I personally think that anonymity acts as a barrier in any kind of relationship. I would love to meet you in real life at some point in the future if we get along and stay in touch for a considerable amount of time.
In the past 12 years, I have talked to several people around the globe on different platforms who wished to stay anonymous. I had conversations with them for months and years, but they always considered me as a stranger and eventually left. I'm tired of being a disposable person. What's the point of having a friend without a name and a face? I have no reason to trust someone who doesn't trust me. You can call me picky; I indeed am. I don't want to have conversations where both parties only ask each other about hobbies and interests and leave once they feel there's nothing in common. That's the reason why I asked you to cover those topics when introducing yourself. And just because I have already talked about my interests and hobbies doesn't mean there's nothing more to know about me. Human connection is a lot more than mere interests and hobbies.
I would love to interact with someone who doesn't treat me like an AI chatbot and acknowledges the fact that I'm an actual human being with feelings and emotions beyond the digital screen who spends his valuable time and energy to communicate with people—precious time and energy that I'll never be able to get back. I understand that these connections over the internet are very fragile and I can't control things the way I want so if you're interested feel free to send me a message anyway. I enjoy having conversations with people even if only for a while. Sometimes people you expect to be in touch for years leave you while the ones you don't expect to be in touch for long end up staying for a long time. Nothing is set in stone. Reminds me of this quote by Japanese author Haruki Murakami:

We convince ourselves that we know the other person well, but do we really know anything important about anyone?"
While I agree with the fact that it's not possible to get to know a person entirely, I think connecting with another human being is a beautiful experience in itself. In the end, we are just lost souls yearning for human connection; searching for people who will provide attention and affection and accept us as we are. I live in California, and I currently have already reached my out of pocket max this year on my employer sponsored health insurance plan. I also have multiple single case agreements set up as well. I'm considering leaving my job, but I would then have to start at zero on health insurance payments, paying the new deductible and likely hitting my OOP max by end of year
With the single case agreements too, those could take a month to just process if I don't have to appeal, plus all the delays after that on submitting claims (and having to call to get them fixed often) means that I would likely need a few thousand dollar buffer for the first few months to be able to pay the out-of-network bills while I wait to get the new single case agreements in order and get reimbursed

Sounds like this is an issue that comes up over and over. Someone gets discharged from a SNF rehab before they are ready and Medicare won’t pay. My dad’s plan stopped covering his stay after 14 days, but he cannot walk at all unassisted. There’s absolutely no way he could go home since my mom wouldn’t be able to help him walk etc. He is appealing the decision while he is currently paying out of pocket because wtf else is he supposed to do. (I seriously cannot believe they discharge/end coverage for people who can’t even walk?!?). He also is attempting to get into a more specialized rehab facility that deals with nerve damage, and his doc at the SNF says he would be a great candidate for this. Insurance is also dragging their feet on this.
I’m told he has Medicare Advantage part C through Aetna, and regular Medicare A and B. And the Aetna one is who is cutting off coverage. Right now we are at the “peer to peer” review stage for the transfer to the other facility (fingers crossed) and the appeal to stay additional days at the SNF is still pending but I won’t be surprised if it’s denied again. Someone tried to break into my house(by kicking the door and breaking 2 windows glasses with a rock) - called the police, officer showed up, collected info and gave me his card and case number
3 days later the person came back and just threw a rock at another window. - called the police, no officer showed up but I was given a case number through the phone
Then I installed some camera.
Last night (10:46pm) I saw 3 guys on my camera, one of them came to my garage and I could hear him saying to the others that "a camera was installed". - called the police twice, no officer showed up, no case number, I had to almost beg them to collect the video footage I have from the guy walking (can only see his white hoodie, he was fully covered)
My house is 50ft from the street and I have neighbors all around. By the person's voice I would say he is 20 or younger. They walked up the street, no cars seen.
Please let me know how would you proceed. What would you do and if this is normal here. As I said I'm new and my wife is deperate, we just moved here 1.5 year ago. One day we had a dream come true and now 1000$ in glasses and not feeling safe at all.

A couple weeks ago I got reached out to by a recruiter from Pyramid Consulting with a job offer to be a Validation Technician at Intel, which isn't far off from what I used to do for work. I've been frantically searching for a job for the past few months so I immediately got into talks with this recruiter. They already had my resume and asked me to write a cover letter, which I did and submitted it to them. The following day they emailed me telling me that my resume has been shortlisted and they will send me information regarding an interview by next week. The following week I reached out to them for any updates regarding the interview. They told me that the long weekend put them delayed some things but I should be receiving the information soon. The following day I received an invite to a Microsoft Teams meeting for this coming Monday for an interview and a meeting this Friday (yesterday as of the time posting) for an interview strategy meeting. In the meeting I talked with a couple people from Pyramid Consulting and they gave me advice on what might be in the interview and I should leverage based on my resume and cover letter.
So far everything seemed reasonable and legit but when I did a bit of deeper research some things started not to add up. When I checked the Intel website, this job was not on their, and neither was it on LinkedIn or Indeed. When I googled the job title, I found an exact copy-paste for the job for a different company called Superbeo (which upon deeper inspection might be a vendor for Intel? I don't know if that information is relevant). After seeing this, I did decided to look into Pyramid Consulting to see if they are even real. Reviews from various sites about Pyramid Consulting are very mixed. Some people say they should not be trusted while others say they are legit. Looking at the meeting itself, the person who they said is supposed to be interviewing me from Intel (who is a real Intel employee as far as I can tell), isn't in the meeting. Although there is someone named Intel-PCI-Delivery from Pyramid Consulting in there so I'm not sure if they're connecting using that email. Finally, the last thing to set off some alarm bells within me occurred at the end of the strategy meeting. After discussing interview strats, they asked me to show a photo ID to confirm that I was the person that was supposed to be interviewed. I ended up showed them my drivers license without really thinking about it then continued to discuss some other things.
So now I'm stressed and confused. The supposive interview is on Monday and I have been practicing for it, but the possibility that this job offer is a scam is rattling my brain. I'm no stranger to job scams, but this one feels so well put together that I can't tell if it's a scam or legit.

On this sub I've seen a lot of discourse surrounding GT and it's inclusion, should it be DLC, should it be there period, etc. I used to have the opinion of "If it's in I'll be happy but if not I wont be mad" but then I came to another conclusion. If it's not in I WILL be mad, as someone who grew up on Budokai Tenkaichi 3, the game where goddamn FRIEZA SOLDIER #2 is a fully functional and playable character, and grew up watching GT on Toonami as a kid, I dont think wanting OG DB, DBZ, GT, and Super all base roster, is very unreasonable. After playing Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash at my cousins house, I realized something.
Anime games have too low expectations now. We let these developers get away with storm clones, expensive DLC for things that should be base game, whatever the hell Jump Force's gameplay was, for years now. BT3 while it is a bit dated I'll admit, was an amazing game in terms of quality, polish, and was packed to the brim with content that you could work at for weeks, maybe even months, and a roster of hundreds of characters from different dragonball series', from the 8 different flavors of Goku to goddamn APPULE, that game was made for the ps2 and nintendo wii, this is gonna be made in 2024 on the Playstation 5, the current top of the line console, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.
I understand DLC is a good thing and lets devs have more development time and it's good for sales whatever, DLC should exist and I'm glad it does for when I want more out of my favorite games, but those games should at the very least be COMPLETE, DLC should be an extension of the full game not the fee tacked on to get the whole thing. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 had characters from Dragon Ball, Z, and GT, complete with side stories and sagas from those shows, Sparking Zero has showed us obviously it's gonna have Z and Super which goes without saying, but the addition of Super should not be at the cost of GT, a fan favorite, or DB, the very series' roots. The sequel to a very popular series of games shouldn't be WORSE than the game before it without DLC
I'm not even saying it should have GT side stories, if base game covers Z and Super, or hell even just super with some more singleplayer content, I'd be more than happy to pay for GT or DB content in terms of single player missions, but cutting them out of the roster and selling them back for a price? That'd feel like a slap in the face as a customer.
I'm not sure what I want whoevers reading this to take from it, but just know I dont mean any hate to the game before it even releases, what I've seen looks absolutely incredible and I will be buying it as soon as I can, but it should at the very least be as good as the predecessor, hey who knows maybe they dont even include GT and they just do it so well I'm not even mad.
Anyway, when it comes out I hope everyone gets what they want out of it and they enjoy their time

I used to be pretty happy with my supports. If they were having to cover a big area I was able to get them off in one big piece or at least several big chumks. It would typically leave nothing noticeable on the print. All of a sudden something changed and its horrible now. Thinking back it must have started after I upgraded Cura. My tree supports now use a ton of "stumps" and are hard as hell to get off the bottom of the print. I tried switching back to normal supports and I really can't describe whats its doing but again it makes it super tough to just pull off the print. I've tried changing a bunch but nothing has really helped. Anyone have some good settings I can try. Heres some examples and what most of my settings currently are.
