Millions of people in Germany meditate regularly. The offerings range from apps and online courses to meditation in studios and multi-day retreats. According to a Statista Consumer Survey, almost one in four people between the ages of 18 and 64 have a meditation app on their cell phone. A Buddhist tradition has long since become a mass phenomenon and the market for mindfulness is booming, with meditation often being praised as a cure for stress and mental health problems. However, recent scientific studies show that intensive meditation can also trigger serious psychological side effects. This side effect is often ignored or trivialized, as research by the investigative format Vollbild revealed.
One in ten meditators suffers from side effects
In a ten-year long-term study, US psychologist Willoughby Britton from Brown University was able to prove that around one in ten meditators develop side effects that severely restrict them in their everyday life. According to Britton, anxiety, traumatic flashbacks and hypersensitivity are the most common side effects of meditation. German studies also point to undesirable side effects of meditation: a study by a working group at Charité Berlin found that a total of 22 percent of 1,397 meditating test subjects had undesirable effects. So, I've been snowboarding for 14 seasons, which sounds like an impressive amount of years until you realize that translates to about 56 days in total. That's right, I'm the snowboarding equivalent of a weekend warrior who only gets to swing their sword once a year. Every year, like a kid on Christmas, I convince myself that THIS is the year I'm going to find the perfect snowboard to help me become a better rider. So, I watch all the YouTube videos, read all the reviews, and drool over the latest gear like a teenager over a new PlayStation console. I show up at the mountain looking like a snowboarding superhero, only to spend the next four to five days fighting with my board like it's an unruly toddler. By the time I get a handle on it (sort of), my week is up and I slink home, feeling unsatisfied, only to shove the board in the closet and start the whole cycle again next year.
I've tried talking to snowboard retail staff, but their advice is as standard as a hotel continental breakfast. They size me up, hand me a board that fits from floor to chin, and send me on my merry way. I tell them I think I want a shorter board, and they look at me like I've just declared that I want to snowboard on a cafeteria tray.
So here I am, the new season is just around the corner and I'm doing it all over again. This time, I'm looking at the RIDE Twinpig and thinking it might be my golden ticket. It's got a wider base for us heavier folks (I’ve got the build of a yeti after hibernation) and RIDE recommends going shorter in length when choosing a pig range board. But before I drop more cash on yet another board that might end up as an expensive cupboard decoration, I am turning to Reddit for help!

P.S. My riding style? Well, I like to charge down the mountain (not crazy fast, but fast enough to feel like I’m the star of my own action movie) while making big, dramatic turns. I do enjoy popping a lip whenever I spot one, but let’s be real—my airtime usually ends with me inspecting the snow up close and personal, pondering my life choices. I’ve dabbled in the park too, but after a few too many face-offs with jibs and boxes that left me looking more like a crash test dummy than a snowboarder, I now steer clear like they’re radioactive.
P.S.S. Also, before you suggest this, I don't get the opportunity to try out the demo days that stores offer as I am usually in the snow for only a week, and it is always a week that is outside of school holidays so the demo days are not as frequent. If I am honest, I have never seen any demo days when I have been out in the snow.

My first good IEMs were 7hz Timeless. I came back to hobby just after they were released and after many hours of research I settled on them. I was hesitant regarding them for a short period of time(you may even find my post where I was eyeing Kato for a time) but since then I've learnt to appreciate them. Also buying Fudu and HD580 gave me reference points to how Timeless performs, their strengthes and weaknesses.
I've been lurking in the sub, pretty much satisfied with what I have. But recently I noticed trend in IEMs and the most recent Resolve video cemented my observations - IEMs like Hype4, Dusk, Da Vinci and Mega5est are all shooting the same target, giving their flavor to it.
I popped Crin graph tool and found all 4 recent IEMs there plus finally Timeless. Comparing their FR there are many similarities which give me a feeling I still have decent IEMs in this day and age.
However, I would like to give their opinion those who owns Timeless and any other of previously mentioned IEMs in comparison. I'm really curious how they differ, because I can't get my hands on them to compare. Extra bonus points for those who can compare any of those with my lovely Fudu.

For as long as I can remember I have had dreams and memories about a specific place (with a lot of water) and there were huge birds everywhere. This place had gothic old buildings near a huge body of water. There were street lanterns with black gothic decorations (they were massive in my memory). It’s like I am looking with the eyes of a child to these memories like I was a child and my surroundings made a huge impression on me. Other childhood memories are from a boy/man who had such an impact on me that it killed me inside because it was something forbidden. I was born being in love with this unfamiliar boy/man. There were boys who have reminded me of this man (I know by now). Like child actor ‘Noah Hathaway’ from ‘The Never Ending Story’ who reminded me so much of this man of my past life. By that time, as I was the child I was, I couldn’t understand what this "memory" was and my family just dismissed my dreamy attitude by stating I had a lot of fantasy (which is also true by the way). I know there were huge triggers to remember this lifetime because of certain music I was hearing for all my life. A lot in my new life has triggered me to remember that specific time frame where I was someone else. I just didn’t now what time it was and who I was exactly. I just saw his face and felt his whole attitude which I couldn’t explain. I just felt I wanted him back. I already knew I only wanted to marry him and it was stemming from a traumatic experience I have had with him.
When I was 15 or 16 years old I fell madly in love with singer Michael Hutchence because of the music video; “Never Tear Us Apart”. I didn’t realize at that time why he got to me especially in that video. Also Michael Hutchence reminded me of someone important. The video shows a place similar to the one I saw in my memories as a child and also the singer has physical features reminding me of "him". I started to have recurring dreams some time after this, about me traveling from the Netherlands (where I live) to a familiarly but more so unfamiliar place. When I got out of the bus I stood before a magnificent grey gothic church with a huge entrance. When I turned around I looked into a large crowded street with rows of gothic buildings (very different from NL) and suddenly I saw a familiar figure walking through that street. He wore a long dark trench coat and a yellow stray hat with a wide brim. His dark curly hair came out underneath the hat. I couldn’t see his face though. I also remember he carried a classical guitar in one hand. I felt a huge recognition and urge to run to him. I just had to get to him. I ran through the street when I saw him suddenly walking up a building and when I got close I saw it was my grandparents house (from my current life in Amsterdam) I ran up the red velvet carpeted stairs to end up in the living room and my whole current family (as they did a lot) was making music together and I couldn’t find "him" anywhere. He was gone. I still didn’t realize what or who this was.
Years afterwards I felt the need to go through past life regression (when I was in my 20’s) with hopefully a good therapist. I saw many lives and after some sessions, this specific life came back. I only saw a few images where I was talked down by my mother while I fell in love with my piano teacher who gave me piano lessons. The regression therapist reacted like "it was all so dramatic it seems just like a soap opera" I felt ridiculed and never did anything with those memories. Until I began to know more about it after I studied regression therapy myself.
I was from a Hungarian aristocratic family from 1800. And my mother brought me and my sister to a piano teacher. I saw the first piano lessons that I have had together with my sister, and how heavily I fell in love with my teacher. This love never ended, but we were hunted down by my family (there’s a lot of karma there) and we were unable to marry and live together. But in secret we did. There was a book written about it in 2020 and I bought it. I remember I was really tired before I wanted to read it. I fell asleep and the Danube was in my head constantly. I had heard of this river but never gave it much attention before. When I woke up the next day I started reading the book and not long after I discovered the Danube was a big part of my Hungarian (Budapest) life. It was mind boggling discovering that. My mother from that life was diabolical because of perseverance of our social status. My big sister was my support and confidant and the only one who have helped him and me. In my current life she is my mother (fortunately) because if she weren’t, I (yet again) wouldn’t know what I would do and maybe have come to a horrible end as well. I was heavily misunderstood (as was he) in my past life and it left a deep scar. I have made other choices in my current life than I did back then which is positive. I am solving big karma from that live in this current live, but still have to solve the biggest one; being away from him. My sister then, my mother now, just knew things about him and me and is helping to solve this karma and getting back together in a harmonious setting where we are free to live together.

Log file says the game is crashing due to insufficient memory, but i have 32gb of ram, and it doesnt seem to be using anywhere near the max amount. I'm able to open the game, play for about 5 mins, then it crashes. I've deleted the shaders folder, increased page file, none have worked. Game didnt crash during character creation either, only after walking around for a minute in the PU.

For some background, I’m 17[M] and a junior in highschool. Me and 4 others were in a building alone on school property vibing during lunch. It was then that me and another (I’ll call him Monty) got into a little back and forth, calling each other fat and saying all the things one would say when trying to insult the other whilst not crossing the line. We do this all the time, and we both do it because it’s funny. But then it went a bit too far, and he began seriously berating me along with another (will call him Tony). To provide a little more context, me, Monty, and Tony are all linemen for the football team, so it’s natural to call each other fat. But they were straight-up berating me for subjects far beyond simple fat-shaming. Monty got up and started joking about throwing a chair, and I—still trying to keep things a joke—said to try it and see what happens. Mind you, I never actually believed he would throw a chair in a building that’s not his. He promptly threw it right past me, barely missing as it hit the printer behind me. Monty then grabbed a bean bag and also threatened to hit me with it, even though there were a monitor in front of me. After I reminded him of this fact, he sat down and continued his banter. Knowing I was the strongest guy in the room, I got up and started attacking him—playfully—after a few remarks that I found ironic. This was the point where another guy (we’ll call him King) was taking video. This is not the first time he’s taken a video of me in a position anyone would want themselves seen, nor is it the first time I’ve asked him to delete video. This one was bad in specific because I asked Monty to call me his daddy. For obvious reasons, I didn’t want this seen anywhere outside of our little group. When I confront him about it, he refuses to delete it, and instead laughs it off, so I jump on him and restrict his movement as I forced it out of his hands. Mind you, we were all laughing and nobody was taking anything too serious. It was at this point that I’d imagined he would’ve deleted it, considering I had his phone, but he instead continued to disagree and not delete it, no matter how much I pleaded he does. This has occurred a number of times, like when he’s sent a video I didn’t like to a separate friend group or when he took two other videos of me attacking Monty and sent them to a different group. After we’d talked all throughout lunch, the period was over, and it was time to exit. It was at this point that agitation was present in his demeanor, and he began to be forceful in his approach. He came onto me and first tried to grab it out of my hands, before Monty and Tony grabbed my phone as if to back him up. I was pretty frustrated at this point, and I reiterated to delete the video. He refused again, and I swore to him I wasn’t giving his phone back until he deleted it, at which King said he wasn’t ever deleting it. We were both standing up, and there was a significant increase in his force as he pushed and grabbed at my shirt, gashing me at my chest and bruising my arm as I pushed him away. I was furious at this point, saying ‘so you want to fight’ as we’d both stood our ground. This time, I went towards him as he’d continued gnawing at my shirt, prying me to use much more force than I’d used before. Although I very much wanted to, I made sure that I didn’t do any real damage, pulling him to the ground through his shirt instead of hitting him with full force. I was twice his size, so it was fairly clear that he was outmatched in regards to physicality alone. Between Tony and Monty asking I was being so weird and King insulting me, they just walked off as I stayed in the room, eventually going back home with no motivation to complete the day. While he was walking off, King threatened to talk to the office as he made no effort to retrieve the phone. I’m now here, wondering if I should’ve approached things differently.
As a quick note, I will add that I do not think I was in the wrong in regards to fighting back. While I’m aware that the constitution protects your right to videotape in a public space, he’d been performing of mix of gathering defaming audios of me and condescending me through rather rude nicknames for upwards of two years now. It was either I be complicit in his demeaning behavior or I defend myself now.

I’ve been dating this wonderful man. I feel safe around him, and overall it’s a very healthy relationship from what I have experienced. We talk long term goals, communicate and I feel like I can address anything with him, except for one thing.
He was very open from the beginning about his sexual desires and things he’s experimented with in the past. None of this intimidated me but I was clear about my intentions on being monogamous, and that the ENM or open relationship concept was something I am not leaning towards and that he should consider an alternative partner if he wished to pursue this lifestyle. We talked about it and he decided that he was not looking for that and that we would give this a shot as we are both compatible and similar. We did agree to revisit this and cross that bridge when it’s time.
Our sex life is amazing, after care is amazing, and chemistry is amazing. Yet I fear that I won’t be enough for him in the long run. He is constantly horny, which is great for me, but sometimes I wonder if I am giving it to him enough. He wants sex almost every day and I am beginning to feel like the relationship has become mainly sexual. We addressed it and he assured me that he does not feel that way and that he feels emotionally connected with me but that he would try to work on not making things feel purely sexual.
This is where is gets tricky. In my previous relationship I was with a sex addict that would pay for OF and watch porn constantly but wouldn’t have energy for me. I asked him to be honest, and when I confronted him about it he would deny it all even though I had solid evidence. This is where my trigger started. And I don’t know if I feel insecure about my new relationship because of this or if my feelings are valid.
My new partner is starting to show signs of potential sex addiction, the only difference is that he is honest about his porn consumption. I have only began to think about it because he is constantly pushing the idea to go to a sex club together and have sex in the open. He is constantly going to strip clubs (although he is a cheapo, money isn’t the issue here). He has been honest about keeping porn saved on his phone and keeping videos/ photos that he received from other women prior to dating me. If I’m being honest, this gave me the biggest ick and I don’t know if I’m being dramatic but it makes me feel really uncomfortable. We made a video together and he seemed upset at the fact that I didn’t send it to him because I said “I don’t want to be another girl on your flash drive). The last straw was this week when he attempted to get a hand job from me while I was working (WFH) and I just didn’t have the energy. As he was leaving I noticed he was on a porn Reddit and I couldn’t help but feel some type of way. I felt really insecure and joking said “I guess I’m not enough”.
I don’t know if these are all valid things to feel and I don’t know if it’s my triggers or insecurity. I thought I had worked through all of this but lately I just feel like I’ll never be enough sexually for this man. I don’t know if it’s borderline sexual addiction or maybe I just haven’t met someone as comfortable with their sexuality as him. All I know is I’m very conflicted, I care highly about him but somehow I just can’t seem to communicate this.

I've been working on this story for... 3 months? 4? who knows, with my ability to keep track of time I could have started this yesterday, anyway, this is a story that has sci-fi elements, and some fantasy, although the fantasy stuff is mainly dragons so lets say adventure for now, (cause I don't know shit about genres, I just wrote the story) , Keep in mind, this has been written in free time, of which I don't have a lot, so if you don't like the story it is probably my fault, here is a look at:

Dragons wing

I slowly drift from my sleep and think to myself, ow, why is everything warm? I check the thermostat and see that it is at a temperature as cool as Canada and when I turn back to go back to bed so that I can sleep in, I see that my stuff has been knocked over? Oh sorry, where are my manners? I'm James O’Maley, I put everything back into place, and lay down on my bed but nothing is comfortable! I just decide, you know what, whatever, I’m just gonna get ready for work, and with that i get dressed, everything feels harder to put on, but it really hits me when I go to brush my teeth, when I looked into the mirror, I saw that their were, wings on my back, and a tail, growing out my butt like a lizard, I obviously spend several minutes having an existential crisis about this shocking revelation, and I decide to look at what these wings can do, I open a window, crawl out, with some difficulty and some slamming the window on my tail. I go to the edge of the fire escape railing, hop on, and jump, and I flew, higher and higher, until i nearly flew into a mountain but that's when I suddenly breathed fire, from my mouth, and bore a hole straight through the cliffside, I could spend all day flying, breathing fire, and fiddling with my tail, but I began to feel as tired as if I’d just gotten back from lifting weights with tigers, I landed on a cliffside and fell asleep. When I woke up I wasn’t on the cliffside anymore, there were monitors and scientists all around me. I tried to show some sign that I was awake, but I was chained up! I spent several moments struggling to get free, I must be free, I am not something they can chain down! I struggle, I roar, I attempt to move my head enough to burn the surrounding area, but I can’t, until someone finally talks to me,
“Hello there, James, please forgive us for our caution, but with your kind we can never be too careful.” I can see the scientist, I read his name tag, Dr. Crane William, I roar out
“My kind!? Get me out of these chains!” I breathe fire, claw, kick and swing my tail, trying to free myself, until I see two other people watching, one with weird whiskers, a long tail and a smug look on his face, and the other with a similar appearance to me but her wings are her arms. The next few days go by, until the two finally decide to talk to me, and in those days, My face becomes a snout like a komodo dragon’s, the one with the whiskers opens his mouth first and I already hate him
“Would you look at that, he’s even uglier up close!” I glare at him with absolute hatred, that seems to anger him more,
“What are you mute or something? Speak before I tear you apart!” he takes one step closer and that's all I need, I Bite his shoulder and use his head to break the chains on my right arm, I continue to break the rest of them with ease, and tell whiskers
“You want to fight? Let’s fight!” I leap on top of him, clawing at his face, he tries to slash me with a blade on his tail but I grab it and stab the wall with it, until I feel a burning sensation in my veins, The girl had bitten me! She looks at me with sadness,
“Sorry about this,” I look at her and drift into unconsciousness, when I wake up next I’m in some kind of, medical wing, ha, wing, as I look around I feel that my mouth is bound shut, but other than that, I can move my body, I get up off the gurney and just when I think it looks nice, whiskers shows his face,
“Well thanks a lot freak, now I’m on probation with Dr. Crane.” I motion to my mouth and he seems to have enough brain cells to understand what I mean
“Ha! You got the boot, Lily had that on her when she wouldn’t stop biting staff, I’m Ryan Mist.” I just walk away and try getting this muzzle off, That's when Crane walks in,
“Well, I must say it has been a while since we’ve had to use the boot, Ryan, your behavior was unacceptable!” I can tell that Crane is annoyed, and right as he finishes his sentence, click, the boot falls off my face and clatters to the ground. I don’t bother trying to fight Ryan again, I’m just happy to be able to talk!
“Well that’s a lot better, now, talk, I want answers.” I growl, Crane and Ryan seem surprised that I got the boot off but they talk, turns out, I’m what’s called a dragonkin a Human who has dragon genes in their genome, Lily and Ryan are also dragonkin, although they can’t breath fire, Lily has fangs and a venomous bite, turns out she’s the girl that bit me, and Ryan just looks weird, apparently we are the only dragonkin who evaded the organization that Crane works for, Called ‘Kadmus,’ into adulthood, Lily being found at 22, ryan at 20, and me at 24, on top of that, we are the only dragonkin who have survived that long, it’s at that moment that I notice Lily looking at us from behind some glass, I decide that I’ve heard enough and open the door, and I leave the room.
As I leave the room I can tell that Lily was not expecting me from the look on her face, I start a conversation with her, trying desperately to be friendly and not notice all the scientists glancing at me nervously.
“Hey, Lily, Right?” I say in the friendliest tone I can, “I’m James.” Lily looks at me with a calculating look before answering
“Hello, yeah my name is Lily, Lily Megan.” she clearly is wary of me, but I can tell a few things about her, making herself look small, clearly smarter than she lets on, seems shy,
“How did you get it off?” Lily breaks into my train of thought with the question,
“What?” I ask her, confused,
“The Boot, how did you get it off?” She gestures to the room where Crane and Ryan were having an argument, but more specifically to The Boot, laying on the ground
“Oh that? I once took a lockpicking class when I was younger.” I explain
“Huh, you mind teaching me that sometime?” She catches me off guard with that one, I can tell that she is being genuine so I agree, And we begin working out what time works best.

The next few weeks go by in a flash, but I’ll summarize it for you, I ended up getting my own room like Ryan and Lily, I start teaching Lily how to pick locks, and we end up having a few game nights where we played games like charades, poker, even monopoly, lets just say that we will never play monopoly again. However, the most important thing of all, we ended up finding another dragonkin! We aren’t sure what dragon ancestor he has, but we think he’s another eastern long tail, like Ryan, the new guy’s name is Dillian, He’s great, absolute goofball, he’s from Australia, and according to him, his family has never been anywhere but the land down under, weird, but the guy’s like a little brother to me, so it’s cool, and that catches you up. “Hey Dillian!” I lean my head into his room, “Wanna come hang out with the rest of us?
