Really doubt a good app is free, but I’m desperate enough to maybe get something good with a cheap subscription. I’ve been trying to get into working out for almost a year and the main thing I struggle with is finding a routine. I search YouTube, tik tok, even Reddit to try and figure out what to do, but I get so overwhelmed with all the options and everyone’s different opinions that I just short circuit and quit the research. When I’m at the gym I try to establish a routine but just don’t know what’s even right for what I want, and when there’s uncertainty—that’s where the inconsistency comes in. Now that I’m on meds I really want to start working out again and make use of my gym membership. I’m also doing at home calisthenics but again I’m still a little uncertain with how to progress on that besides building up the number of push ups/pull ups I can do. I figured an app that organizes exercises to do based on what I want to work on would help me a lot. Any recs?

Hipster publications (back before anyone really used the term “hipster”) like Mondo 2000 had a name for it: “The New Edge”. And for 99% of us on that New Edge, for almost all of us prophets and heralds of the coming age, one thing gradually became clear: being early didn’t matter.
It didn’t give us any real advantages. Sure, some people rode the hype cycle to riches (as some do in all hype cycles), but for most of us, we just watched it all happen and went “Wow, cool. I guess.”
Some of us snapped up email addresses with our names in them (without a bunch of numbers at the end!!) and immediately regretted it as we were bombarded by emails meant for someone else with the same name. That’s about as close as the average case came to really experiencing something unique from surfing the very tip of the New Edge.
Being there before it was cool didn’t make us cool. The ultimate lesson of hipster life.
So here comes AI and here we go again: this thing is going to change everything. It’s going to saturate every part of our lives and for a glorious decade it’ll be incredible before corporations figure out how to lock it down and chop it all up into a handful of membership fees, which we’ll gladly pay just to tread water alongside our peers. It’ll be messy. And then it’ll be clean, and we’ll miss the mess.
But will it make us smarter, braver, richer?
Did the Internet?

It's no secret that Pokémon has a lost favor with older games for being stagnant, and even degenerating in some areas. XY, SwSh, and especially SV were not received all that well. For me personally, ORAS and Sun and Moon are the only games of the 3D era that caught my attention (never got around to trying Legends: Arceus, so I won't comment on that).
Even though it's likely, I hope Game Freak/TPC/Nintendo don't just continue to let the series stay in this limbo where there's little actual love put into the games since millions of little kids will buy them no matter what stats they're in. I want them to actually improve upon each game, and grow the fanbase by attracting new and old fans alike.

Even though it's likely, I hope Game Freak/TPC/Nintendo don't just continue to let the series stay in this limbo where there's little actual love put into the games since millions of little kids will buy them no matter what stats they're in. I want them to actually improve upon each game, and grow the fanbase by attracting new and old fans alike.
My ideas are:
- Seasonal/Side Events: After the postgame, there'll be occasional non-DLC side stories. They don't need to be anything massive, but they could be a good way at having people who drop the games once the story is finished come back every once in a while.
- A different story structure: Maybe the player plays as a member of the International Police investing a variety of strange phenomena all tying back into one issue? Maybe they're an ex-member of an evil team trying to redeem themselves, like in Colosseum? Now my idea doesn't necessarily insist on getting rid of a battling challenge or antagonist teams, but at least doing something new with those ideas could be cool. Alola experimented with this through the trials, but nothing like them was ever done again. The post Gen-6 games made the Teams different from mafias and would-be world destroyers, but aside from Team Skull they're all a bit goofy and not really threatening at all.
- A plot with maturity and depth: Not 'mature' as in super edgy scenarios, cussing, etc. For example - and slightly branching off my last point - an eco-terrorist group fighting against corporate oligarchs. There can be commentary on topics like climate change and environmentalism, while leaving room open for antagonism through the group go too far in their endeavors. NOTE, the plot points don't have to be super political like that. It's just one example. I liked how Alola touched upon parental neglect/abuse, so the topics could even be more personal like that too.
- Build upon the open world/segmented worlds: SV's open world was atrocious. Legends Arceus's segmented world appears to be better liked, but still has some issues. I won't say drop them entirely, because the idea of a big world full of visible Pokémon to explore was no doubt every kid Pokémon fan's dream. Just don't repeat the mistakes SV's open world have. Give the world an appealing art style, don't create settlements with a bunch of buildings we can't enter, implement level scaling for certain battles, etc.
- Characters: One of the weakest aspects of Pokémon across most of the games are the characters. I keep going back to Alola, but I loved SM because Lillie, Gladion, and Lusamine all have depth. I heard the DLC characters from SV have a lot of depth too, so I hope they keep improving on this front. As for the franchise as a whole, most gym leaders play zero or minimal part in the story, the Champion often fucks around and does nothing all game, character dynamics tend to rely on tell-don't-show, and whatever relevant characters there are become hollow shells once the story's up - like May in ORAS.
- Difficulty Options: a common defense at how easy the later gen games have been is 'well it's a kid's game, of course it'd be easy'. That makes no sense to me. 1) being a kid doesn't mean you never like challenge. 2) GF could have the players choose a difficulty. You don't want much of a challenge? Play on easy mode. Want a mix of ease and challenge? Normal mode. Want competitive level challenge? Play on hard mode.
- Side Quests: Side quests to build up the world and add depth to characters would do a massive service to the games. There are some side quests here and there throughout the main games, but they're usually something like 'Damn I wish I could see an Eevee. Oh you have one? Wow, cool! Have this item as thanks!'. You don't enter a local competition with your rival, explore ruins with a team of archaeologists, or anything interesting like that.
- Postgame: When the Postgame is reached, chunks of the world and new sidequests should unlock.

For context, im 20 currently finishing my first year of university in a career that is similar to informatics engineering but more based around video games and enterntainment. Im a recovering addict with 3 years clean and my mother has never been more toxic. Im one of the top students in my career at the moment, i work out alot on my free time and study. Back when i used to smoke she would blackmail me with not paying for my cigarettes (which is understandable) whenever i didnt do what she said, how she said it, and when she said it. I clean the house on weekends, make my own meals/food, i do all my things and responsabilities. Very recently she started to blackmail me with my gym membership (since i quit smoking little less than a year ago) for doing what she wants, at first i was mad because she knows how much i like to take care of myself now, but i came to the conclusion that its not her obligation to pay for my membership or anything as a matter of fact since im 20 now. Very recently (2 weeks or so) shes been starting to threaten to kick me out of the house along with the gym membership thing, im very fed up at this point because its whenever i dont do what she wants or i go agaisnt her word that this happens. Shes very controlling, its hard to describe a narcicistic person tbh but im guessing you guys know what im talking about. I just feel the need to get away asap. Ive thought about dealing with it for 3 more years until i finish my career, but it gets worse every day and ive come to a point where i feel like I just take up space and no one wants me at home. Im scared often that she will kick me out and i have no where to go. Ive though about working while studying but its hard since my career requires alot of study time, most i could do is a summer job. Anyways, ive always been interested in the military and thought about joining the army to get away, id have to drop my career though, and start a new one in there. Just thinking of options here as i have no idea what to do, ive tried everything to get along with her and nothing seems to work for whatever reason. I can either join the army like i said or deal with her for 3 more years and end my career and get the hell out. Would like some help, maybe one of you are/have been in a similar situation/position. By time, I thought he will be fixed but he got even worse. I generally chose long t-shirts when I wear leggings, not wanting unnecessary stares. I was getting ready for gym and he made a comment on that too, told me I dress like a sister in the church and that's not how women dress for workout. Next day, he came with literally ten pairs of leggings and cropped tops. He told me to try them. I was happy for his surprise at first but when I tried them I was a bit shocked. Not being offensive against anyone who wears it, but it turns out he bought these "butt lift leggings" which completely fits the butt and shows it so detailed. I thanked him although it was a bit awkward, and told him there was no need for such a buy. He said he will like to see me wearing them for gym and take pictures. Strange right, well this is only the beginning.
He went even worse. By time, he started to come home buying supermini dresses with deep cleavages, even more butt lift leggings, lingeries, really short skirts etc. I'm definitely not conservative and I have no problems with the way people dress, but wearing these was making me uncomfortable. When I rejected, he was making a drama and one time he even cried for it. Once I rejected it all and threatened him to throw them away, he cried again and screamed at me. After that, he literally never talked a word with me for a straight week. I was loving him so much, so eventually I agreed to dress the way he wants.
Last summer, we planned a vacation. He bought micro bikinis for me although I didn't want. I told him I'm not gonna wear any of these, but he threatened me to cancel the vacation which I longed for so much. He made me wear these micro bikinis all the time during our vacation, and he didn't seem like having a sign of jealousy when I could even feel all other men's eyes on me although I tried to ignore.
The time I was really starting to concern about him to be a cuck, was when he took me to meet one of his coworkers at a cafe. I took a bath and when I went to our bedroom for getting dressed he immediately stepped in, he just picked a crop top -with deep cleavage of course- and a really really short tiered skirt, it was barely covering my butt. When I asked what's all this about, he told me to not wear any underwears. We started arguing again and he was about to make a scene again... So I said whatever and accepted. I was disturbed of all these other men's looks on me, especially his coworker. He didn't seem like he cares.
I was starting to get used to this life although I hated it. It only went worse by time. I was going everywhere in the way he wants. But I was loving him still, and I knew he is manipulating me. We haven’t seen Crazy Middles take posting seriously in months, years? But wow, now they’re on like 8 days in a row?! Here are my takeaways- 1. Usually when they disappear for a while they return to explain they were sick, someone died or they had some house repairs to do—- But in just the past week, the Uncle died- they made it a video, Shelly & Jared got sick, they made videos anyway, even on their dating channel. Then today, the power went out in their house and instead of taking the excuse, they took out the camera. Other than the child exploitation, from a viewer perspective- I’m glad for the content. And I hope they’ve proven to themselves- even YouTubers can work thru an inconvenience - just like the rest of us do.
But I wonder how long this diligence will last? They have obviously taken a financial hit with their intermittent posting over the past year- they talked about the expense of keeping the St. John’s house, and then this week they mentioned canceling internet in St. John’s to cut costs. I also noticed that early on they had big renovation plans for the new house- but those have never manifested- I expect cost is a major part of the reason. My summary- this is a happy family, they love Bishop, they love Mindy, they want to keep both houses, they want to preserve their lifestyle but, the math isn’t mathing. This feast or famine posting style makes me nervous for them. I think they’re panicking about building their channel back up- doing this passionate posting boom, but they won’t do it long enough to have a video go viral or see an impact on their income so, they’ll hit their wall, cut expenses (who would go first Mindy or Bishop?) and it’s the beginning of the end.
As far as Beyond Crazy goes and Crazy Worth It and the podcast for that matter goes- Joe was a little weird but he was diligent and kept those channels on task. Now with it just up to Aaron, Max and Hannah to keep the momentum going on those things- just like with Alex’s channel, Ariana and Hallie- they will all fade away- no one in that family- other than Crystal has any discipline at all. I'm a little shell shocked, so I apologize if this doesn't translate correctly. I've spent the last 9 months in the application process, even years longer working to meet qualifications to serve.
I served in Americorps, so I was without a personal vehicle (or a substantial paycheck) for about two years. I cancelled out my liability vehicle insurance as a result. When I got home, I didn't have the money for the insurance right away. The week I was accepted for my PC term, I drove to a summer job interview, with the intent to buy insurance with my first paycheck. I got the job, luckily!
On the drive home, someone ran a stop sign at an intersection and hit my vehicle. My vehicle was totalled, and I received a 460 dollar ticket for lack of liability. Family drove me home, and that night when I caught my breath I emailed PC legal staff, disclosing the incident. This is the only legal issue I've ever had. They never replied. I was told by other PC staff that Legal replies if they need to, in their own time, and that with how busy they were it was best not to reach out and risk slowing them down further.
Months later, I still hadn't received clearance. Onboarding paperwork asked if I had received a ticket for over 300, so I said yes. I then called staff to ask about the ticket, and if there was any follow up paperwork needed. They found the email I sent and said, "oh, wow we should have replied to this email, sorry. Yes, we will send you the paperwork." I filled out the paperwork and sent it in.
A few weeks later, my application has been revoked, via email with no context.
I have emailed, asking if it could be appealed. If not, I've asked if I could still be eligible to reapply. My departure date is 20 days away. I've already done so much preparation, we've had a "going away" celebration. For others who have dealt with this, how did you move forward?

The week I was accepted for my PC term, I drove to a summer job interview, with the intent to buy insurance with my first paycheck. I got the job, luckily!
On the drive home, someone ran a stop sign at an intersection and hit my vehicle. My vehicle was totalled, and I received a 460 dollar ticket for lack of liability. Family drove me home, and that night when I caught my breath I emailed PC legal staff, disclosing the incident. This is the only legal issue I've ever had. They never replied. I was told by other PC staff that Legal replies if they need to, in their own time, and that with how busy they were it was best not to reach out and risk slowing them down further.
Months later, I still hadn't received clearance. Onboarding paperwork asked if I had received a ticket for over 300, so I said yes. I then called staff to ask about the ticket, and if there was any follow up paperwork needed. They found the email I sent and said, "oh, wow we should have replied to this email, sorry. Yes, we will send you the paperwork." I filled out the paperwork and sent it in.
A few weeks later, my application has been revoked, via email with no context.
I have emailed, asking if it could be appealed. If not, I've asked if I could still be eligible to reapply. My departure date is 20 days away. I've already done so much preparation, we've had a "going away" celebration. For others who have dealt with this, how did you move forward?

I'm going to try my best to make this story concise. But I'm looking for an unbiased opinion on my relationship/breakup since I have no one else to vent to. My friend group is generally the type of guys who would disregard any sort of feeling ("just get over it, dude") and I don't even want to bring my family into it. So here goes:

We quickly went on dozens of unique dates - a baseball game, farmers markets, arcades, nice dinners, movie nights at my house, gym dates. Everything was going amazing - our personalities blended perfectly, we had zero fights, arguments, or disagreements. Intimacy and passion were there. It felt too good to be true. After a few months she was saying things like how lucky she was to have met me and how much of a gentleman/kind person I was. She told me about her past experiences with exes that mistreated her, cheated on her, etc and the baggage that came along with it. So naturally I went above & beyond to make her feel loved, validated, worthy. Shortly into the new year, she texts me out of the blue that my sometimes-slow text responses (I travel for work & she obviously knew that) triggered her & she needs to take time away. We met in person, she broke it off & told me she needs time to heal from her insecurities. I was devasted but understanding. I told her I loved her and will be open to her again when she is ready. In the meantime she blocked me & fully deleted her Instagram, even though I respected her space.
In March she reached out again. We quickly picked up where we left off and she told me about all the healing & personal improvement she'd done in the time apart. After a few friendly but intimate meet-ups I spilled my heart out to her & told her my intent of trying a relationship again but this time, stronger. I would do my absolute best to communicate with her frequently and help ease any fears/insecurities she had. She seemed thrilled with my newfound openness, we had talks about fate/God bringing us together again & she said "absolutely yes, but all I ask is that we take things slow so I don't get triggered again." The past 7-8 weeks were amazing, our relationship seemed stronger than before. We were texting frequently, FaceTiming almost daily, and seeing each other 2-3 times per week when our schedules aligned. We were talking about the future again (our family goals, etc.) & all of the dates we had lined up. She had me sign up at her local gym so we could be consistent workout partners. We went out with her best friend so she could introduce us. We planned double dates with our coworkers. A few Fridays ago, we both took off work & spent the entire day together, from 7am to midnight. I gifted her baseball attire as a callback to the first baseball game I took her to, and she was so excited. It was amazing - I saw my future in front of me and I had zero concerns. It felt like one of the greatest days of my life.
The next day, she was "out with friends" but would text me as soon as she was home so we could FaceTime. Instead, I got several calls from a random number. When I finally answered, it was another man telling me that he was her boyfriend. I hung up & broke down. I called her number that night and the morning after and got nothing. She finally called me at night and told me what I can only assume are lies about their relationship. That they were never in a relationship and she never cheated on me when we were together, but they were seeing each other intermittently. She also said she feels that I deserve someone better than her. Somehow I kept my composure but I was so disgusted at how someone could spend the entire day prior with you, tell you how much they love you, and be a liar the whole time without remorse.
The next day I wrote a letter telling her how hurtful it was, but that in spite of everything I loved her & forgive her and hoped we could reconnect after things settled down, and dropped it off at her work. A week later, she texted me that it was "inappropriate to visit her work during what was implied to be no-contact and make her feel vulnerable. She's trying with her "ex" & doesn't want to involve me any more than she has." She immediately blocked me afterwards (despite me not saying anything to her) & I have no way of contacting her again now that her social media is gone. It's been weeks and I'm still just as confused and devastated. I'm blaming myself for things out of my control and left wondering what I could have done differently. My heart wants her back but at the same time my brain knows there's nothing I can do, nor should do to prove myself further. All I'm left with are amazing memories, an abrupt end, and a membership to her gym that I pretty much can't use anymore.

A) Identify the timeframe for “lapsed client” that makes sense for your sales cycle

I caught my ex emotionally cheating on me and I confronted her about it and she disappeared after the fact is the short form of what happened. I posted previously about it if anyone cares to read.
When she left, she left all of her stuff in my apartment and out of respect and legality I did nothing with it besides pack it all up for her and waited for her to pick it up. It took an entire month for her to come get it. The entire time she kept saying that she wasn't in a relationship with this guy she said was her "friend".
She kept gaslighting me saying he's just a friend etc etc. making me second guess if I was crazy or not. Well a couple days ago she informed me she was coming with a uhaul to pick her stuff up. So I decided to put all of her stuff outside because I couldn't emotionally handle or hold back my anger over what happened so I decided that was the best course of action.
She didn't think so, she knocked on the door and I made the mistake of opening the door. She requested that she comes inside to do a "walk through". I said no all of your stuff is outside. She put her foot in the door and step inside while I was trying to close the door. I decided screw it go ahead.
As she was walking through she started taking stuff like all the cleaning supplies I bought, food I bought and kitchen ware I bought. I told her all that is mine and she said "No, I bought all of this. I was the only one who cleaned and cook" which was a lie because she wouldn't do anything besides lay down in bed and be on her phone majority of the time.
I got really irritated and went off on her. I called her a cheater and a liar. You left me for a loser. You're the most dishonest person I have ever met. She kept saying "I'm not dating him, we aren't together, I didn't cheat on you. I don't know whats wrong with you dude". I said should I go outside and tell him that? Should I tell him how much of a liar you are?
She responded with "He knows everything already". I decided it was the best course of action to not go outside because I know I would go into a blind rage and end up in jail for sure.
Afrer she left. The next day I made the mistake of looking on both of their facebooks and they updated their relationship status that they are together. The day they "made it official" happened to be the next day after she did her disappearing act. It felt like they were "hiding" their relationship status until she got her stuff back. So they made a team effort together to do what they did, which is insane to me.
I just can't believe how much I did for some one who stabbed me in the back the way they did. The amount of support, the amount of care, the amount of love I gave to her and she did what she did.
She even acts like I was the bad guy, I was the evil person. The whole reason I was upset with her was because she was talking to this guy and lying to me about it.
I'm so angry, everyday so far I feel this rage. I got a gym membership yesterday and worked out last night. When I was done working out for some reason when I was driving home I just started crying out of nowhere. I don't know what triggered it but I couldn't stop. It came to me that I haven't had time to cry or feel sad, I have just been angry, I feel it even now as I'm typing it. I can't seem to stop being so upset.

She responded with "He knows everything already". I decided it was the best course of action to not go outside because I know I would go into a blind rage and end up in jail for sure.
Afrer she left. The next day I made the mistake of looking on both of their facebooks and they updated their relationship status that they are together. The day they "made it official" happened to be the next day after she did her disappearing act. It felt like they were "hiding" their relationship status until she got her stuff back. So they made a team effort together to do what they did, which is insane to me.
I just can't believe how much I did for some one who stabbed me in the back the way they did. The amount of support, the amount of care, the amount of love I gave to her and she did what she did.
She even acts like I was the bad guy, I was the evil person. The whole reason I was upset with her was because she was talking to this guy and lying to me about it.
I'm so angry, everyday so far I feel this rage. I got a gym membership yesterday and worked out last night. When I was done working out for some reason when I was driving home I just started crying out of nowhere. I don't know what triggered it but I couldn't stop. It came to me that I haven't had time to cry or feel sad, I have just been angry, I feel it even now as I'm typing it. I can't seem to stop being so upset.

Our fellow dataminer Koopavocelot has also spotted a noteworthy notice that may be coming this month but no info yet on its contents… Hopefully it’s not some sort of end-of-times apocalyptic alert with the last of the villagers likely coming out this month. June is often themed around seasonal rain or weddings as they’re what the month is known for in Japan, and given that we just had a windy-themed event this month, I’d expect more of the latter matrimania for next month’s events. A therapist told me I should explore the possibility of my issues being related to autism. I have suffered emotional abuse by my parents for three decades now (religious dogma, parentification, emotional blackmail) but also had difficulty understanding social norms. I have been working on my issues for a few years now and I am confident that I can resolve most of these on my own. I am much more confident in social settings now, I feel loved by my friends and colleagues and notice how productive routines keep me from spiraling into depression.
However, there is one thing that I just can't figure out. It might sound banal to you but it really is impacting me on a daily basis and I feel it's holding me back.
When I'm at home, I feel anxious and tense. I have active neighbors who do mundane stuff that wouldn't bother other people. However, it really triggers me when they move furniture around, when they drop stuff or when they stomp around. My upstairs neighbor is particularly unbearable in that regard, at least from my perspective. I don't want to confront him since this is clearly a me-problem.
I also hate it when people in the gym talk loudly and I really dislike the sound of how people's voices sound through speaker phone (scratchy, tin-like, impossible to filter out). Train rides or restaurant visits can be hell for me.
I hate it when I can't run away from those noise triggers which definitely is the case when I'm at home. There's an amount of time I can take those (usually in the morning) but at some point I put on my noise cancelling headphones. Some days I wear them from breakfast till bedtime. It helps to some extent but I feel it also makes me so much more vulnerable once I take them off.
Now, here's my question. Is this related to being on the autism spectrum? I identify with a lot of issues that are typical for people on the spectrum but I am unsure about the noise triggers. I read about hyperacusis but my condition is not consistent. I don't mind my friends stomping around in a building, I wouldn't mind if they had loud conversations in the gym and I would tolerate them having calls on speaker phone. Is it possible that due to the lack of consistency, my perceived problem with noise triggers might not be related to autism but to a desire for safety, control and order (stemming from my history of being abused)? I wonder if strangers and neighbors who I am stuck with against my will are threatening my sense of safety. If that's true, then to me that would mean I could treat this condition through exposure. If it is autism-related, however, there would be zero chance of disarming the triggers, right? Am I oversimplifying this?
I am asking you because in my country access to therapy is extremely limited. I consider myself very lucky that I even got two appointments with a professional but now I'm stuck with a cliffhanger. I am also aware that you can't possibly diagnose me here. I'm just at the end of my rope with this and would appreciate some help and inspiration. Please refrain from ridiculing me.

I want to say to the people who worked on this game: THANK. YOU. VERY. MUCH. This game was a breath of fresh air for me. It's amazing how much writers can do when they are not confined by the rules of free-to-play genre. Now, let me talk about my experience step by step.
Customisation is great. It would be cool to have a fourth body type (as a big male), but still it's better than anything what PB ever gave us. The amount of outfits and accessories, bonus features like moles and stubble — it's great to have such an extensive customisation mode.
(Also, I'm an idiot, cause I forgot about Jane Marshall's existense and named my character Jane. There was a little bit of confusion, but it was not that bad.)
The Shadow/Blood system, relationships with other characters and type of character (nice/sarcastic/aggressive) make the gameplay more interesting and flexible. It's really refreshing to see that so many factors affect the story and not only nerve and collectible items.
Characters. Let's talk separatly about old and original ones.
I like how writers handled casts form ILITW and ILB. They don't feel out of character, there is no such a moment when I would be like "wait, that's not how he/she would react to that". They are still the same people that we saw in the previous books and just a little bit different because of the character development, which is justified. My only little dissapointment is that ILB cast has noticeably lesser role in the game, I kinda wanted more of the second MC, even though specifically their role was pretty big for the plot. But it's not such a big problem in the end.
Jocelyn is an interesting one. We saw just a little glimpse of her in ILB, but I ADORE how she's written here. She is heavily different from herself in ILITW, but that's kinda the whole point. I like how her development is justified, how her internal struggle is shown. Just mwah. I definitely will play her route after the villain one, she is amazing.
The original characters are great too, I could easily imagine them in an official threequel. Amalia (my first LI) is such a sweetheart, I just can't. Abel is cool, Lincoln is a badass, many minor characters are fun too. The Big Bad of the game... Just wow. I adore how many details were in characters' backstories, they feel alive. I was invested in their backstories so much, that it really made me feel for them. I'm loving Amalia's backstory, it feels like writers made very meticulous work while coming up with it.
Right now I'm going to play Villain route with aggressive type of character and my heart aches already cause I hurted Amalia while pushing her away. This route will be wild emotional ride, I can see it already.
Again, everyone who participated in creating of this game, thank you guys so much. I'm even glad that PB cancelled the third book, because then we would never get ILW. I highly recommend to play it, this is a great experience. It's also a glimpse of what Choices could, but alas, will never be anymore.

Hello, I’ll try to be concise as I cover multiple things, I’ve learned a lot in this subreddit, but there isn’t as much for those of us under 65 and disabled I feel-
I am early ~40y/o and disabled and my Medicare is starting in the coming months. I have worked with a local service provider who educates the community on Medicare, as well as read and watched hours of videos explaining the various options. I have a chronic pain injury, as well as multiple diagnosed mental health conditions, I see a therapist 1-2 times a week and I am looking to start with a new psychiatrist once my Medicare starts. My prescriptions are inexpensive, though they are subject to change. I am not overly concerned with dental, vision, or hearing at this time.
Plan G: Expensive since I am under 65, ~$325-400, but obviously the most comprehensive
Plan N: Still fairly expensive, ~$250-300, plus taking into account possible $20 co-pays and excess charges (I understand these are incredibly rare, and mostly avoidable by asking the provider in advance, though psychiatrists seem to be one group who charges them).
Medicare Advantage(MA) plan: This is where it gets overwhelming. First off, I see so many people and posts bashing MA and cautioning to avoid it completely. This has made me lean more towards plan N, but as I have looked into MA plan they seem to ‘OK’ if you’re relatively healthy.
I found an MA plan that is HMO but offers Point of Service that was explained to me as allowing for out-of-network coverage. This plan also has $425 towards gyms/wellness, $100 over-the-counter at CVS, and a $6,750 max out-of-pocket. The same company offers a PPO for $29 a month, but the broker didn’t feel it was necessary.
I understand I can change plans during open enrollment once a year in my state, but you would run into underwriting going from MA to Medigap. How strict is that process? Is it a common denial for people trying to do so? Are there certain red flags? I consider that my condition could deteriorate as time goes on and I wouldn’t be able to switch if needed.
The cheapest quote I have received is from USAA, and I have seen different things about needing to be a member to enroll, but not to continue after year one. It’s $16 a year, and the second cheapest was State Farm, would it just make sense to go with State Farm and skip this step if the price is the same without a USAA membership?
Gosh, I could go on with so many more questions, (I am also asking for any insights on this I didn’t touch on from anyone who has experience using Medicare before 65) but I realize how lengthy this has gotten, thanks for anyone who made it this far and has offered any help!

 | The times are dramatically changing and we say goodbye to the longtime creative teams that, believe it or not, crafted this version of the Legion for 6 years. To put this into perspective, Paul Levitz's second run lasted 7 and the 5YL Legion lasted 5. So they're one of the longest runs in Legion history. submitted by drake_burroughs to LegionofSuperheroes [link] [comments] I wanted to make a point about the sales on this book to clarify an error I made before. Up to this point, this was the lowest-selling Legion book ever. The only saving moment they had was Final Night, where sales spiked up again because of the book's connection to DC's big crossover. But once that was over, they just went back down again, eventually cratering and heading for cancellation. But, post-threeboot, Legion sales were even worse. Every Legion book follows the same pattern - nice sales for the first issue and then an almost precipitous drop quickly after. However, and this is where I'm going to be a little mean, I think that this version of the Legion is the worst-selling Legion book when compared to the rest of the comic industry at the time. I think that Legion v7 selling 15,000 copies a few years ago is much worse than Legion v4 selling 17,000 in 1999. Let's talk about the high points of this run:
Let's continue the reread: Legionnaires #77 The entire Legion heads to the beach for sun, sand, romance, and to catch a thief... kinda... These are the kinds of issues that this creative team has shown they do well so I'm expecting it to be fun. I've said before that I love it when the Legion is hanging out and just being friends. Let's focus on the important parts of the story:
It's also the final issue for the writing team and I think Tom McCraw, Roger Stern, and Carmela Merlo really leaned into what they did the best. It's a nice way to wrap up their run. LSH #121 In a complete change of tone, we're back with the Fatal Five (four?) story. Let's go random stream of consciousness while I read... We start with a desolate planet called Tenazor and a huge ship crash lands into the surface. Is this the Fatal Five? Someone else? Oh, and I have to say I love the Walt Simonson sound effects they use here - not sure if they paid him for the style and look but they should. Half the team is flying back to the Outpost (although at this point I'm honestly not sure who's assigned where, but that might just be my bad memory... or I'm wondering why the lightning twins aren't here) when their beach memories are interrupted by Brainiac 5, who's nice enough to recap last issue. He tells them they warped the whole Outpost through a stargate and they crashed on the planet from the first page... even though the ship that crashed didn't look big enough to be the Outpost. Umbra and M'onel have already arrived at Tenazor and, since it's under an orange sun, the Daxamite is only at half strength. Which is perfect when going against the Fatal Five. The villains have already started turning the locals into slave labor, because they have to make the villains even more villainous, right? M'onel tries to fight everyone by himself, uses absolutely no strategy aside from attack, and gets blasted by the Emerald Eye. I will repeat what I said last issue - does any Legionnaire actually think before they rush into battle? He and Umbra are quickly defeated before the rest of the Legion arrives, including Gates and Brainy. We get a nice moment between Kinetix and Violet, as the latter worries about facing the Eye again and Kinetix reassures her that she's afraid because she hated the evil that she did. They hug and I, once again, wish they did more with Zoe. Brainy comes up with the incredible plan of while the Legion is fighting the Fatal Five, he'll sneak in and regain control of the Outpost. Yep, that's it. No need to consider strategy, or the best members for attacking the different foes, or how Ferro is going to accomplish anything... Subplot: Dreamer has, of course, a bad dream about something ending too soon for the Legion. We all know it's this series (only 4 issues to go), but wouldn't it be great to do a subplot with Dreamer where she wakes up, surprised by a good dream? The battle starts and Karate Kid takes down the Empress (who I guess isn't tied to the Eye at all) with one move. Wow - they could've actually written a compelling fight scene and let the two of them go but, instead, just let Val defeat this killer with one move. Kind of a waste, if you ask me. As the fight continues, and the Legion actually uses teamwork to go against the Persuader, we get a very strange scene with Gates single-handedly teleporting the Eye away. He also gets to throw in some nice socialist dogma while he's doing it, just in case there was anyone who wasn't sure what his political beliefs are. Just kinda overkill right now... Element Lad and Kinetix try to change the Emerald Eye into something less threatening, Sensor makes Validus think his lightning is going against him so that Violet and Ferro can knock him unconscious. (That's something I never thought I'd see in a Legion comic). And then Koko takes off to save a green monkey. Yes, you read that correct. We're interrupting the action to focus on Koko saving another monkey. Brainy distracts Tharok, allowing Dyrk to cut the power to the Outpost and end the threat. He blasts the villain with a force field (just going to say now that I really liked that they added this to his arsenal - using the force field as an aggressive weapon was a great add to the character). Element Lad creates a magnesium flare and blinds the Emerald Eye. Another thing I didn't think I'd see in a Legion comic. We wrap everything up very quickly, as the villains are captured, M'onel flies the Outpost back into space, and Brainy leaves Koko on the planet so the white monkey can bond with the green monkeys. The Legion wonders what harm Koko can do, but we see that he's already leading the monkeys with a Legion wristband on him. That's not going to go well, is it? I actually kinda liked this one, if only for the massive amount of teamwork used. They probably didn't need to reform the Fatal Five for this, and they defeated them really, really easily, but the Legion worked as a team, so that was okay for me. Or maybe I'm just in a better mood today... The more I think about it, the more I feel like the creative team used the Fatal Five for no other reason than they knew this was their last chance. It's their final issue and I think they wanted to go out with a bang, using the best villains in the Legion arsenal. I now kinda wish they had scrapped a lot of the previous issues and done something a little more epic. But that's been a constant complaint for the McCraw/Peyer team - they just never knew how to actually lay out a storyline. Legionnaires #78 Here we have it - the first regular Legion title written by Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning (Or DnA). Oh, and a barely remembered artist named Olivier Coipel shows up for the final two pages as well. Let's see how they handle these characters... One of my favorite things to notice during rereads is how well the new creative teams introduce new concepts and ideas and how well they keep characterizations consistent. In some cases, the teams slow build, adding things here and there and try their best not to completely recreate the book. In other cases, they immediately start throwing their new ideas in. Rereading this book, there are a couple of elements that are almost immediately evident:
And finally, the last two pages start the destruction, as stargates are destroyed and whole systems are wiped out. Death and destruction are coming and heading towards Earth... LSH #122 Legion of the Damned, Part One After reading this book, I spent some time trying to think of comic series that underwent dramatic, intense changes in both style and level of quality. I mentioned this before, but I always find it interesting when series get new creative teams and go in dramatically different directions. I like to see what big and small changes they make. For this series, the change is incredibly dramatic. The only comparable book I can think of is when Grant Morrison and Richard Case took over Doom Patrol. It went from a fairly standard, somewhat uninteresting superhero book to a trip through Morrison's crazed vision of a broken bunch of heroes. The book was immediately 10000 times better and eventually joined the Vertigo universe to allow Morrison to push the envelope even further. I can't imagine what it must have been like at the end of 1999, after spending years reading the Archie Legion, to suddenly have everything shift to such a degree. DnA have taken everyone's fears of Y2K and turned them into the Blight, an evil alien consciousness that has taken over the Earth, destroyed everything (including Interlac, which is no longer on display), and taken possession of the Legionnaires, turning them into slaves. At the heart the of Metropolis is The Stem, the huge organism from which the Blight conjure energy ribbons for transportation. It's also believed to be part of the network that brought the Blight to Earth. There are almost no beings left on Earth, just the Blight. The scared few who are free are trying to escape by getting resistance leader R.J. Brande to use the last remaining stargate to help them get off planet. And leading them are Live Wire, XS, Chameleon, and Shvaughn Erin. But they face the possessed versions of Umbra, Ultra Boy, and Karate Kid and, except for Cham, fall under the Blight's control. Cham's lost, desperate, trying to find help, when the four Legionnaires from last issue (Cosmic Boy, Apparition, Monstress, and Brainiac 5) finally return to Earth with no clue of what's happened. Wow, we just got really, really, really dark. Legionnaires #79 Legion of the Damned, Part Two DnA and Olivier Coipel continue this story, so I'm going to assume that this whole series was done months earlier to ensure they could hit this bi-weekly schedule. In that case, the previous creative teams had to know that their run was over far sooner than I guessed before. We start this issue with Cham explaining to the four what happened and just how quickly the Blight took over the Earth and their former teammates. His big reveal, of course, is that everyone was taken to The Stem. To further stress the darkness of the story, we see inside The Stem and see XS's fate. She's been taken prisoner and is now being processed for power sapping. She's trapped inside a cocoon, breathing some strange liquid, but because of her powers, she cannot be kept unconscious. So she's aware of the horror around her. She's heading towards the end and knows she's about to lose everything. Then we get a flashback to when the four finally reached the Legion Outpost. Tinya is being her usual annoying self, whining about not getting to see Jo. Monstress is trying to keep positive but Brainy is tired of her tantrums. It's moments like these when you remember that Tinya's around 16 years old... and married... and emotionally immature. Last issue's change is already tossed to show that she sometimes is going to act like a little kid. As the four board the Outpost, they immediately realize that it's empty, hasn't been used in a while, and something very bad is happening. The Blight recognize they're onboard and blow up the Outpost just as they get away. But the blast destroys their ship and they crash on Earth. I guess the Blight brought the Outpost to Earth at some point, right? Tinya wakes up from that nightmare (strange that she's super annoying in her own dream) and chats with Cham about how they need to get into The Stem to try to figure out what's actually going on. Within The Stem, XS is being taken further into the chamber when she starts communicating with a telepath. She's waking up, her speed powers allowing her to get over the sedative. She sees the remaining Legionnaires hanging from the ceiling, like food, and then decides it's time to escape. She also recognizes the telepath - it's Saturn Girl. She bursts from her cocoon, grabs Saturn Girl, and starts running. Outside The Stem, the five head towards the huge organism, looking for a way to get inside. Brainy spots a opening and explains the science behind how they can get in. I'm just going to point out right now that I really like the way DnA are handling Brainy. He's actually acting super intelligent, and above the rest of the team, and irritating in a stubborn, smug way instead of just being an ass. Inside The Stem, Jenni's too tired to continue and Imra tells her to leave her behind. Then Imra shares what she's seen, what she's learned inside The Stem and XS is stunned. To make matters worse, the Blight have sent all the possessed Legionnaires to destroy those who are free. We'll finish off the Blight next week! Our next Legionnaire in the spotlight... Having suffered from quite possibly the most horrific origin story of any super-hero ever created, he became the backbone of the team and one of the best leaders ever. Perhaps he, more than almost any other character except for Dream Girl, benefited from being the team leader during the Levitz run and that's what's coloring my judgment here. But I don't think so. I think the strength of the character has been there from very early on and Levitz and Giffen leaned into it, turning him into a must-have Legionnaire. Sadly, post-5YL, he has never been used to his potential and most of the creative teams don't seem to understand his importance.

I was unfollowing some creators I don't follow anymore (like I was just following them for free, I wasn't a paying member) and I noticed a few of them have gone inactive. How do I unfollow these guys? I don't want them listed in my Memberships on the left of my screen but because they're inactive, there is no Membership tab that I can use to cancel my membership. There are 3 dots under the name but that only lets me block the creator, which doesn't remove them from my Memberships. Please help!

I (33M Los Angeles) just paid off my $24k student loan at once. My income is currently 108k. I’m now debt free, but don’t own a house. I just pay my mom $2k for rent, utilities, cell phone ($25), and the car she hand down to me. I pay for the car insurance myself.
Paying off the student loan, but selling some items I had, as well as getting paid yesterday, has brought my account to $8k. I get another paycheck of 2,800 before I pay my mom $2k again.

So a week or two back I went into GameStop for the usual trade in, and saw they were hiring. I asked about it and they offered me an interview on the spot because a friend works there. I sit there for about 10-15 mins and her walks in and tells me to “sell me this game” I go on talking about the story and the gameplay and he stops me and is like “yeah but you need to use salesperson tactics” I am literally stunned when he says this. Keep in mind this is a GameStop retail job for about $10 an hour where I live. He then goes on about how positions and regional management works (I only wanted a normal crew position). He then wastes more of my time for another 15 mins and brings out another game and is like “sell me this game” and I try asking more questions like is he a fan of this genre etc. and he stops me AGAIN and says “you forgot to ask me who it’s for, the system I play on, you need to be a salesperson” he then wastes my time and says to apply online at another location (which I got no response from either).
Like wow. No wonder companies like that are going obselete, apprantly employees even get FIRED if they don’t convince enough poor souls to buy the power up membership. You go to a retail store for a job expecting retail questions, not trying to sell a house lmao.

My buddy and I decided to hop on rad without a thought. He literally told me one day “yo it’s time” and i was like fuck it. Wasn’t in the best mental space and was just looking for something to add in my life i guess. So we bought the rad and the novla at the same time. 20 or 30mg daily it was 2 pills a day. I started doing 1 morning 1 at night and then eventually both in the morning.
A week in, feeling great. Pumps were insane. I could remember waking up with a chest pump and it was just something else.. i was eating the most ive been eating in my life. Pure beef, rice, vegetables, eggs toast etc. Aggression was getting up there as well.
I had gone back to my ex of 3 years just to fuck around. She came with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. She wanted to show me her new place she had just got with her new stripper money. So i was like fuck it what can go wrong. Ima go there, fuck and leave. I already knew she was talking to other guys so there was nothing serious to go on. The guy she was talking to at the moment HATED me… partly due to all the lies she’s put in him for the attention. Anytime i would go back to fuck, she would tell him how bad i treated her. She basically told me this guy wanted to kill me.
Anyway, we fuck, i leave and a couple days pass… my tires are slashed… Off the top of my head i knew it had to do with this guy. The last time he found out i messed around with her, he created a fake instagram account impersonating me to which his mom confirmed that he’d done this in the past. I can remember egging his house after the account was made and he basically came to my door with his mom explaining the whole fake account stuff.
Moving on, the day i found out my tire was fucked (the hole was the size of a knife) I quickly went to his house. To talk to his mom of course… i didn’t want any more trouble.
I rang the doorbell and nobody answered. So i sat there for like 20 minutes on the little chair he had outside. I came to my senses and just left.
He lived in one of those compounds or town houses whatever u wanna call it …. The parking lot was far away from their actual house.
So im walking back to my car and as im getting in, i see his rat ass in his car yelling on the phone. He was yelling on the phone basically saying “he hurt someone that i care about” on and on. I started filming him and laughing…
Anyway i get in my car and i can see him following me. After 10 minutes of driving, our cars finally come side to side. We exchange roasts. Im basically telling him “she dont want you lol” and he’s threatening me saying “you better watch your back” blah blah blah
Minutes pass and im getting phone calls from other women, telling me to be careful “You dont know what hes capable of” “He’s dangerous” Blah blah blah
I told him we could settle this right here right now. And he drove off.
3 days later i see this kid at the gym. And wow was i excited to see him. I told myself if he tries to pull some funny shit hes going down. So im at the row machine finishing up my set, onto the cable pullovers. And i lock eyes with this fucker. Hes smiling and giving me some winks…. So without a thought, i walk over there and punch twice.. smack in the face. He was sitting down and eventually started to kick me off like my sisters would in a fight at home.
People came to defuse the situation, i got my phone back which fell out of my pocket and i went to continue my workout.
Eventually my friend was like “yo lets get the fk out of here” He was more paranoid than i was. He was also my lift So we did. Went straight home Hours pass and i hear the doorbell ring with some aggressive knocks… fuck Mom comes up to my room “WTF DID YOU DO” “COPS ARE HERE” I go to the door and they were basically saying i was under arrest, i could call a lawyer blah blah
I go back upstairs and im asking my friend “Bro wtf do i do”
Anyway i end up just complying, im in the back of their car, answering questions and now i got a whole court date for this little twerp. He told the cops i had hit him with gym equipment… which i did not.
Months go by, my lawyer gets the video from the gym which gets my “aggravated assault” charge dropped.
I had do to some therapy sessions over zoom which had costed me a fortune….
After the cycle i felt like garbage for 2 weeks. Novla was the pct. I was in the darkest time of my life…
The girl was no help, she basically said “dont drag me into this” blah blah playing the victim as usual even tho she said it was hot.
After the 2 weeks of hell i started to feel better. Never got tested for my hormones but i knew the test came back. Motivation, sex drive was back and way better than ever. Could even tell by the quality of my sperm…
Months pass, i hop back on, nothing special happened, controlled my agression, went back to the girl. Did a ton of molly with her and drank countless times. Ended up getting my car smashed probably from the guy found out she told him some horrible lies but i had better things going on with my life. Got closer to god, fixed the car… court case is still not closed yet but is looking good.
My advice if you want to hop on rad:
Lost all of it in the end Probably due to lack of motivation, wasnt eating blah blah Months later i am now back and bigger than ever NATURALLY Did the rad help? You tell me. Plenty of people saying “it wasn’t the rad” blah blah ok…but if you’ve been on rad before you can agree that it doesn’t help with the climax of my story. Rad140 does come with mood swings, hormone imbalance and heightened aggression.. half of you probably took some fake shit to begin with.

- Make sure your in a good mental state (it will become depressing.. everything will seem 10x worse)
- Get your bloodwork done after (i still havent got mine done after both cycles)
- Do it with a friend ( definitely helped my situation as we both felt shit but knew it was the rad)
- Eat well ( 2nd cycle was ass cause i didnt eat like the first time)
