Kata katas mutiara islami

I wanted to ask what you guys think is the reason that Goju Ryu has way more universally recognizable Bunkai than styles from the Shuri Te lineage. Basically all of the "old" Goju Ryu masters can tell you quite consistently what the Kata means, obviously some have a softer approach to the movements like hokama sensei and others have a harder approach like Higaonna sensei. However in the Shuri Te lineage most Bunkai seems to be "lost" or entirely made up by a revisionist approach.
Please don't get offended it's a serious question, I know some sensei from the mainland have "closed door student" approach to serious Bunkai/Oyo or believe that everyone has to figure out the true meaning for themselves.

16 yeard ago I was practicing shotokan. I was green belt but I trained with brown/black belt onlt because I was too tall for my age and to be with other teenagers. I've learnt all the heian katas + tekki shodan. Others practitioners were brown belt or shodan. But they were practicing bassai dai and kanku dai. The nidan candidate jion, empi, hangetsu. Those fice last katas, I've never seen them being taught those katas by our sensei.
Here is my question: how do people learn advanced katas ? I guess that depend from school to school but I've always wondered.

Like the title says, I ´v been wondering what the comunitiy´s feelings regarding Talon in the following points:

• In game as in is he weak/ strong at the moment
• Do you still find him fun to play with
• Lore wise (this one is the one I´m most interested in)

In my opinion, I think he is kind of weak at the moment, I´m not gonna say he is unplayable but I honestly fail to see why would anyone pick him over any other ad assasin ( or any other champ for that regard but I´ll keep it limited to assasins).
I still like to play with him but it definitely feels a little bit exhausting since it almost always feels like playing him is putting you in a bit of a disadvantage.
And regarding his lore I honestly kinda liked them making him like this perfectionist, ultra focused in getting the perfect kill but really disliked his new obsession with katarina. When they dropped his comic I really thought the dropped the ball with him since they basically contradicted his lore, like I don´t get his motivations for doing stuff, plus they really made him steping stone for kata ( I know he exists because of her and all but at least don´t do him like that). The only thing I liked about the comic is that it seems like his story is going to be some sort of redemtion/ redescovery (or so it seems to me)
Also with the inclution of Briar it gives me hope for future talon related lore so that makes me a little bit exited.
So with all of this said what is your opinion about those topics?

How good is their sushi? I feel like sushi anywhere always taste the same, like I couldn't tell the between a HEB sushi and other sushi restaurants. Worse you end up paying lot of money still end up hungry.

So as we all know, Kata isnt in a good state rn. Unplayable beyond master and even kata OTPs choose other Champs instead of her. There is one buff, which would easily top up her winrate again. So we need a petition:
Make Katas R not CCable anymore.

I wanted to discuss the darkside and Cal. Just to bluntly state my opinion, I do not see Cal succumbing to the Darkside. The ending with Cere, in my opinion insinuates that Cal will not struggle too deeply with the Darkside, and Cere is telling us that it is Kata who we should fear going to the Darkside. Also, If you interact with Merrin on Tanalorr after doing a bit of traveling she will state something along the lines of how Tanalorr has a dark energy. I saw one person theorize this is why Dagan and Bode become obsessed with it, which I think is true. In that same conversation with Merrin, Cal does state that he sees some light in the planet, which I think shows that Cal is still searching for the good in a dark place, something he probably would not do if he wanted to embrace darkness. Other bits of evidence for my theory, Cal sort of forgives Bode for betraying him, and gives him a proper burial. Also, apparently when you go back to the imperial base where cal first embraces the Darkside, there is a force interaction and Cal views his actions regrettably.
Feel free to discuss this some more, this game is super interesting, I beat the first and second just this week and I am hooked on them which has reignited my interest in Star Wars a bit.

I am not the most well-versed on Star Wars lore (but I am somewhat competent in it) and I am pretty new to reddit so have mercy on me. But onto what I wanted to discuss in this post, my general ideas for the third game, I just completed both games this week, and was excited to hear that there was going to be a third game, so heres just a giant dump of my ideas for the third game. I will try to avoid spoilers, but if you haven't completed either game heres your warning. Also, please feel free to engage with this post, just be kind, but please tell me what you all think.
Firstly, I know that Stig Asmussen's departure from Respawn has concerned some people, but I do not think this will be that big of a deal. I am saying this because I believe they already know the basic plot points for the third game. I believe this because, without going into detail (to avoid spoilers & b/c I am lazy) certain characters and plots were clearly introduced in the first game with the intention they would be more impactful in the second game. Just for one example, I think Merrin and Cals relationship was planned from the start, and im sure other key plot points were as well, even the ones we have not seen.
I think it would be interesting to see Cal be introduced as a Character in a post-jedi-series show where he tries to rebuild the Jedi Order with Luke. By the end of the second game, I would say Cal is certainly one of the top 5 most powerful/knowledgeable Jedi left, and he would be invaluable to a rising Jedi order. I think this could work for a third game (or maybe a fourth, but that is another discussion for another time) but I don't think this is what is planned, and this would probably be better for a show than a game.
The main problem with Cal's existence right now is he is too defiant to the Empire, and the Empire very clearly wants him dead. I think to have him be able to exist within the OT, we should see him either die (which I really dont want to see) or lie low for a bit. What I think could happen, Spoiler warning, Is that we see Kata turn to the darkside, and Cal feels that same guilt that Cere felt and Cal decides to temporary call it quits at the end of the game. Finally, one major aspect of the series going forward is Cal and Merrin's relationship, and I have a gut feeling that something major may happen to Merrin which will deeply effect Cal. But at the same time, this trope is overdone, especially in Star Wars, and Merrin is one of the best Female characters in the star wars universe, and it would be stupid to kill her off.
This was just a general thought dump, so excuse me if it is poorly organized, or seems stupid, thanks.

I recently just got my green belt and have been thinking about doing kata since I got my orange belt. My sensei and a couple of the higher belts in my home club say that the kata is fun but also good to learn. I think I might be in a good position to learn the Kata’s considering I have the kata expert in the state just 1 town away and one of the girls in my club was ranked 4th in the state back when she was in high school. So should I learn the kata’s or wait till I’m a purple or brown belt.
