Ive had my pc for a few month, its built with a bunch of handmedown parts, Including a Ryzen 5 3600, An EK AIO cpu cooler, an Asus ROG strix B450-F motherboard, a 700 watt gold power supply, a 2070 Super, and 32gb of DDR4 ram.
about 2 months ago I noticed that in windows that only one of my RAM slots where reconized by windows. I run pretty RAM hungry games on my pc, so i decided to reseat the ram. When i did that my DRAM light was solid orange and would not boot up at all. after consulting my MB manual I found that my ram was most likely bad (found out my friend gave me ram from 2012), and I decided to purchase brand new ram. The ram i currently have is Silicone Power DDR4 RAM. Today when using my pc for general web browsing my pc froze and i saw my DRAM light on, it was solid orange. I couldnt restart my pc from the powerbutton on the front of the case, so I turned off the power supply and turned it back on. Lucky the issue was fixed and I could boot into windows and the orange light was gone, but im now worried that I have an issue with my RAM again. If anyone knows that there is something wrong please lmk, Id like to prevent the issue before it happens and causes me trouble down the line.

I haven’t been collecting long at all. Roughly 2 years, which is a fraction of the time most people in this hobby has been collecting. Recently I’ve noticed this weird trend with pricing.
I’m not here to complain about pricing or anything. I know that’s a tired complaint in these circles.
Usually, it’s far cheaper to collect locally then buy online for these types of hobbies. Funkos, trading cards, you name it. Usually it’s always cheaper to buy from Facebook Marketplace or Goodwill. You may not always get the best condition, but usually buying locally is far cheaper than eBay or Mercari.
However, the past year, everything I find locally is twice if not more than you can buy it from eBay with shipping included.
I found Super Mario Land 2 for the Gameboy is pretty beat up condition for $55 and Michael Jackson on the Wii for $60 at Goodwill the other day. Video game stores up-charge a good 20% on even the cheap, unwanted license crap. I found Shrek 4 on the Wii at a local game store for $35. I found someone selling tons of used games on Facebook and for most of their stock they were charging an extra $10-$15. (The worst being Zelda Link To The Past for $65) On the games I found to be fairly priced, I wanted 18 of them. I asked if he’d offer a discount since I’m buying quite a few and he said no. I still bought a few from him, but still.
I’m genuinely not upset or anything. Collecting for me is about patience and trying to find the best deals. Finding a game you’ve been hunting for at a good bargain is the best feeling in this hobby. I just find it so odd. Do these games even sell for those prices? Do people not do research on the items they’re buying? Or do they prefer to pay twice as much to have the item now instead of waiting for shipping?

Super quick background. I'm a music producesongwriter and currently working for a tech company full-time (remote). I'm in the Support Department atm and okay naman.
Since I'm heavily interested in plugins and software (due to my background with music tech) - I think the closest I can get deep into it would be QA testing kaysa yung coding to make a plugin. How do I start? I'm so overwhelmed when I try to search which to start learning first.

So as the title describes, I have a situation where two breakers are tripping each other. For some added context, this began to happen after a rough thunderstorm in the area. breaker A powers 2 out of 5 GFCI outlets in the kitchen(one is used to power the fridge, the other one isn't used), and breaker B powers a single GFCI outlet in a bathroom (which rarely gets used.) I've checked all outlets and light fixtures to see what else breaker A or B could be powering, but that's all I could find. I have attempted to reset either breaker but none of the outlets have power running to the hot wire. However, if I reset breaker A, it'll stay "ON" until I reset B, which trips A, and vice versa. If this is adds any info, breaker B (bathroom) creates a small orange flash and puff of smoke when tripped after 3-4 attempts. If I could get a starting point on this, it would be much appreciated.

Me and my boyfriend dated for about 6 months he broke up with me and then we got back together about a year later. The second relationship has been significantly better, less fighting and better mental health on my end. He treated badly in the first relationship along with a friend of ours calling me sexualized insults (he mainly just agreed with our friend he didn't coming up with them). At this time I developed an ED (completely on me -don't want it to seem like I'm blaming him) due to this I was not doing well physically or mentally, I will admit I was irritable and wasn't the nicest at times. Due to this I frequently apologized for being mean or not doing things the way he wanted, I also told him that I won't talk about it with him and will just talk to my therapist and doctor rather than involving him. I also offered for us to break up because he was saying I was such a negative person in his life along with not saying I love you anymore etc., he said no and we continued dating. One random day he broke up with me and I was crushed. At this point my ED was significantly better I was much healthier and was getting higher levels of treatment. Now I am fully recovered and receive great mental health care to maintain it.
Onto relationship two, we got back together and have been together for a year. Mentally I am doing much better and self-confident wise I am as well. I signed a lease with 2 girls I am friends with for next school year (college) and am super excited. My boyfriend repeadtly cried because he was upset "I was leaving him" I'm moving 20 minutes away and we go to the same school. He thinks I am leaving him behind in favor of my friend (I have known her for 5 years and we are incredibly close)- this isn't jealously in a romantic way she has a girlfriend and he knows we have had no feelings ever for each other though we are both bisexual (he is also). He hasn't asked to see pictures or any info on the place and says he will not being going to see me there because my friends are "scary", they have met many times and hung out without issues (I have talked to both of them separately and there has been no fights or problems). Also is upset I have multiple part time jobs and I don't call out of work to spend time with him. He wants me around constantly and if I am not there or am alone with others he is upset. He refuses to visit me over summer cause he doesn't want to drive to my house and hates my dad. I am busy and can't drive there often and he is upset I am not taking off of work to stay with him. After I calmly said that I felt he was judging me frequently, whenever I would go somewhere he would ask me why I would do that? He immediately started crying and said they were an awful person and the worst boyfriend in the world and I had to comfort him ignoring my point all together. I feel guilty because he alway says how much he loves and misses me, how he wants us to get married (I have expressed many times I am not looking for that anytime now and it stresses me out but he continues to talk about it) and how I should move in with him right out of college when I mention moving home to pay off my loans and save money. His response is that I am too money focused and not prioritizing him and our relationship. I feel apart of this is all I put him through in the first relationship and he is just worried about where I am and what I am doing.
I ranted to my friend and sister about this one day and they are saying he is toxic and I should break up with him but I feel like I am just painting him in a bad light. I feel like I am being dramatic and this is normal in a relationship(cause none are perfect), but my only relationships have been with him the first time and now so it is so much better I have a hard time seeing me finding anyone better. So, is this toxic or I being overdramatic?

Hey everyone so I just fell down the stairs and injured myself which has left me wearing a boot and crutches for the next 2 weeks. My boss is quite upset about this because I’ve provided them with a doctors note that list my restrictions as not being able to stand or walk around (I work at a shoe store). I thought it would be reasonable but me to sit at the register and check people out but my boss says I need to be standing and or bring my own high stool (which I think is a super weird request). Or I will be taken off the schedule for the next two weeks. Now this wouldn’t be a big deal but imma be honest I’m broke and can’t just not work for two weeks. Also the entire conversation we had she just kept pushing me trying to convince me to just suck it up and stand for my 8h shifts. I’m not really sure what to do I feel like it’s just a weird situation.

The setup: Today I needed some two by treated for ground contact. My expectations for big box lumber are low. HD managed to still get below them.
The entire bundle was terrible. Not sure it was even utility grade. But itwas marked #2. Just no way ANY stick in the stack was #2. My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years. We clicked immediately and he moved into my place about 4 months in. In the beginning the sex was super hot and often, if anything the problem was that he didn't last super long but that was never brought up and I'm almost certain it is not anything that he has any insecurity about. The disappointment that follows every one of these conversations has led me to stop initiating, the panic that sets into my chest in anticipation for the rejection is hard to surpass most of the time. Sometimes I can push through it and get out a measley “hey…do you think we can have some sexy time soon?” and sometimes he'll be up for “helping me masturbate” (playing with my nipples or caressing me while I use my vibe) or sometimes he'll have an apathetic yes but most of the times it's a “maybe later”. Hi all! I had aclr with quad graft 2 months ago. I had my 2 month follow up this past Friday and everything looked great! I’ve been walking for the past month and a half without crutches and my PT is going super well. I’ve been going to the gym and have been doing single leg strength exercises to try to rebuild all the muscle I lost. I did my normal exercises on Saturday no issues, but did go a little too hard on the adduction machine because my inner thighs were killing me (but not sure if that would contribute to this random swelling). Then Monday I woke up to my knee super swollen again looking like it did the first week after surgery. Before this there was only a little bit of swelling and it looked pretty much like my good knee.
Has anyone else had random swelling after? I have been icing and elevating and it hasn’t gone down. Not sure what to do/ or expect.

Hi guys. I have a Bachelor's in electronics and am doing a master's in CS right now. I have done a decent bit of work but I would like to know which skills to prioritize right now because this is my dream job. I'm planning on splitting my time into two parts mainly - 1. Research (This is all robotics, mainly around perception and motion planning), and 2. Improving my skills in embedded engineering.
I'm in the USA, if that matters. I am not interested in working in defense because of my own personal moral obligations.
I'll attach my resume here (It's not very polished, please excuse me for that). I would like to know how I should progress from here. So far, I think these are the viable skillsets I should focus on for now-

1. High speed design (I can do basically anything that is low speed and super high power)
   
2. Linux driver development
   
3. FPGA design
   
4. Make my own RTOS to understand how they work.
   

Please let me know what else I should focus on and what I should prioritize first, because I know I will not be able to complete everything.

Y no me refiero a salidas de fiesta, si no, oportunidades o eventos. Yo no soy fan, detesto estar rodeado de gente y la bulla, soy muy abuelo, para mi una salida al parque me cansa, y no soy fan de los viajes de un día. Suena aburrido y lo es quizá para la gente en general pero en lo personal disfruto mucho estar solo, aislado. Tampoco es que soy un friki que no le gusta otra cosa mas que estar jugando, solo tengo un juego en el play apenas, paso mi tiempo entre haciendo ejercicio y escuchando y leyendo.
Mi novia por el contrario ama todos los eventos habidos y por haber, le encanta salir a paseos y también últimamente cada vez mas de fiesta (ambos estamos en los 20 llegando a 30)

Hi everyone! About a month and a half ago the Cat Distribution System blessed me with 2 sisters, an orange girl (Susan) and a calico (Betsy). I want to say they are around 3-4 months old, maybe older? Not sure as my other cat is an adult who was fixed prior to adoption Last week Betsy went into heat, and now this week Susan. And they have been RELENTLESS. I love my babies, so so much, but the constant howling, and chirping, especially when I’m trying to work is so hard, along with them trying to.. well.. smash each other (all my cats are girls too 🫠) it’s getting hard to get any work done, to the point where sometimes go do my remote work at my boyfriends house just for a shred of peace.
When would be the best time to get them fixed? While they are still in heat? After? What kind of aftercare should I practice after the operation? How can I help my babies too while they are in heat?

Well the Ioniq 5’s 12V battery bug has finally caught up with me after having it for 2 great years. Really loved the car most of the time, but having to jump start it every trip gets old fast, along with the dealer’s “everything looks normal,” games. So I’m going to get it to the dealer for repairs (?), then sell, while getting a Quicksilver Model Y LR AWD. Order placed 19 May with estimated delivery of May-June, and approved for 0.99%! I’m a couple thousand upside down on the Ioniq, but it’s worth it to avoid the hassle of repair issues for me. Carmax offering $4.5k more than Tesla trade in (Limited AWD, matte Shooting Star metallic paint).
Is there enough data to guesstimate how many Quicksilvers are coming off the line yet? Looking forward to delivery sooner than later!

Netbox: 4.0.2 - Python: 3.10.12 - PostgreSQL: 14.11
So i've been adding in device types and importing devices without issue all day. I added a new device type: UCS B200 M5. Went to import using that device type, and was given the error --Record 1 device_type: Object not found: UCS B200 M5.
Figured it was a syntax problem and tried a bunch of different ways to import with no luck. Always object not found.
I then tried:

• import these new devices using a previously working device type that I had just used a few hours before, and I was presented with the same error.
• I manually input the device with the new device type and it worked fine. Then I exported that config to make sure my syntax on the device type was right. I tried to import again using the .csv and the UCS B200 M5 device type throws the same Object not found error.
• I did the basics of restarting netbox and services etc with no luck. Unfortunately I am super new to this and git/google aren't helping too much with where to even look for logs on this issue.

Are there any specific tracebacks I can run to see?
