I need to re-seed few spots where I got rid of some weeds but I have no clue what seeds (and were) should I buy. Can you tell me what grass do I have? I looked at some seeds bags in local stores and they all list many grass types … isn't that bad? Should there be just 2 maybe 3 types of seeds at most in a quality product?

2024.05.21 20:42 Amfj231 Why will Powsche win? Let me explain it.

Why will Powsche win? Let me explain it.
Powsche has done so much for me. It was my first play with memecoins (boy did I get luck) and it is also what KEPT me in memecoins after a series of rugs.
Right now there is so much hype on coins that lasts a day, or a week, it pumps, then it dumps leaving so many people holding the bag and out way to much money. How many people are here, trading memecoins because they are excited at the prospect of making money and building wealth? And how many of these people end up leaving crypto all together because the frustration of losing to much money?
Let me tell you why Powsche is built different:
  1. Great Dev and team. That's where any good project starts. They communicate fully with holders, and always have something in the works. They just rolled out a new roadmap a couple weeks ago with giveaways including a Tesla to a single mom and a 911 to a Powsche holder. They are currently doing multiple giveaways and contests.
  2. Amazing community of Chads, over 3k strong. The telegram is a great place to be. Very positive and uplifting. They all hold to win not only for themselves but for others in the project. Goal is simple. Buy Powsche, hold, buy Porsche and roll around with a babe in the shotgun seat.
  3. Brand new meta, car coins. There have been a few knock offs already, all of which have rugged and resorted to CTO. Powsche is the OG and only one with the original dev team on place. This is a ground level new meta for crypto.
  4. Ran different. Most coins launch and the holders hold and then sell kind of unsure any timeline or structure. Powsche Dev team is running this like a company. Assigning departments and department heads for different areas. X lead, IG lead, Reddit Lead, Marketing, Art, Merch etc. This is a new a refreshing way to see a coin go. They are pulling talent from the community into the project. This makes the community even stronger watching our friends get promoted or join the team. More reason for us to make it win.
  5. Marketing hasn't even started. They have done all of this growth and organization off of organic growth. When marketing starts this will be huge.
Look for these things when doing research before you ape in. If the community can't give you solid points why risk your hard earned money? I believe Powsche will win for these reasons here.
What are your thoughts?

2024.05.21 20:41 Xxyrox Which bags to buy for a two weeks tour from Munich to Italy

I'm completely new to touring for several days as I usually only do day trips and often just use a backpack. We're planning a tour from Munich to Venice or Rome, taking it pretty relaxed as we'll be sleeping in hotels and eating in restaurants, etc.
I'm trying to figure out how many bags and what kind of bags would be good for this kind of tour. We want to pack rather light. I was thinking about buying 2x Ortlieb Gravel Packs and 2x Ortlieb Fork Packs, which would be 35 liters in total. Alternatively, a Back-Roller and a handlebar bag with about 50 liters volume.
Has anyone made a similar tour and have any recommendations?

2024.05.21 20:24 PepperThePotato No bags? What do you do?

What do you do when a store has no bags? I've been buying my own And bagging the customers orders but I called support today and they said to leave the order in bagged on the customers door step. That sounds like recipe for a 1 star review. What do you do in this situation? My local Walmart has been out of bags for a while and they don't know when there will be more because the manager claims they are being stolen so he won't order them.

2024.05.21 20:24 Buddy5000 Carry two drivers?

Started golfing this past December. Have put in about 150 hours of practice (range, chipping, putting, etc.) and about 100 hours playing (30 rounds). Typically shooting between 100-110, have broken 100 twice. Have been tracking shots with shotscope, and compared to a 15 handicap, I have 1.04 strokes gained on tee shots (and obviously tons of strokes NOT gained on approach/short game/putting, as I definitely am not a 15 handicap). I know I need to work on my approach game and irons. But par 4s and 5s, when I hit driver, I can comfortably play the blue tees with my friends. I don't shoot as well as them, but I hit the driver a long way and keep it in play. However, I am dumpster fire status from the tee on long par 3s (which can be 180-220 from the blues). My best struck 3 hybrid won't even go 220. And I'm much less consistent with hybrid off the tee box than driver.
So, what I've been doing lately (with some success) is just choking down on the driver, moving it less forward in my stance, and doing a kind of three quarter swing to try to get between 180-220. It's actually gotten me in a much better situation on par 3s. But its still a kind of awkward swing and less accurate than my full driver swing that would overshoot those greens.
I've tried 5 and 3 woods, but the faces are way smaller and its less of a driver swing, and I get way more shanks or insane hooks or slices.
I basically never use my 5 wood off the deck in the fairway, and can't hit a 3 wood well off the deck anyway. And that's usually fine, because I drive it well enough that I rarely have 200+ in on a par 4 anyway. So taking the woods out of the bag wouldn't be missed.
SO, the actual question: I think I want to carry two drivers. How stupid of an idea is this? My normal driver is a 9.5 degree loft, so I was thinking I could get a 12 or 13 degree driver, cut the shaft down a couple inches, and then use that on par 3s and also the 1 or 2 par 4s each round that have really narrow fairways. I feel like this would be easier than trying to have two different swings with my main driver (full swing and fairway finder). I could just swing the shorter more lofted driver with my same swing. The course I usually play has 3 long par threes and one or two very narrow par 4s i would likely use the more lofted shorter driver on.
If you think its not a stupid idea, or just want to humor me, what would you recommend I do? I'm not a club snob, so I'm thinking of just picking up a 10-15 year old 13 degree driver and cutting it down/regripping it myself? I do not have the $$$ to go buy a $400+ mini driver.

2024.05.21 20:21 DenseElephant1856 Updates on Turkey - reps

Dear Rep lovers,
I searched many subs and found some discussions about a year ago about reps in Turkey.
The key findings by the previous posts were:
Cons Grand Bazaar is too expensive; you can negotiate the price but it is still too expensive compared to China You can find guys stuff but they are usually on the back rooms The "good stuff" is actually middle to high tier quality compared to our Chinese friends
Pros It may be still worth it to buy bags this way, since the risks of customs seizing your Chinese package is bigger than the risk of customs taking your "used" bag (take all tags, put your thing inside it, like you've owned it for years) out of your hands You have the chance to check the bag live No risk of greenlighting one PSP and getting a totally different bag; no bait and switch You can buy bigger stuff like suitcases with less risk of customs problems
I'm going to Istanbul and Ankara next week and would like to ask if any of you lovely people have any updates on that: Any good sellers (even if only per WhatsApp) found? With fair price? Any tips?
Thank you!!!!

2024.05.21 20:13 deltibecker I need help

I have a Question and I know people here can help me out...
I use Crypto.com as my exchange .... (cold wallet is being used for 90% of my bags but i hold 10% on cro)
I'm in Ontario Canada and my bank doesn't allow me direct access to buy/sell crypto so I have to go and jump through hoops.... here's what I am doing ... plz tell me if I can do something easier;
When I decide on selling all of my alt coins, my plan was to sell everything / convert to fiat, then buy BTC.. transfer the BTC out of Crypto.com to my external wallet (shakepay) where I then sell back to fiat and etransfer to my bank.
Am I missing an easier pathway to cashing out that produces less fees/cost on my end. I seem to calculate a 27% loss via fees in this process and its not fun when I see 30k of altcoins, sell to BTC then transfer out of crypto.com to my shakepay... that 30k is 28% less... so I'm basically closer to 20k, losing about 8k in this process

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Reservations Necessary To Dine In Barcelona Restaurants?
Asking the age-old question of whether reservations are necessary to dine in Barcelona restaurants is like trying to solve a Rubik's cube. It can take some skill and finesse but, with patience and practice, the answer can be revealed!
To begin with, it generally depends on what kind of restaurant you're planning on visiting. For instance, if you choose to visit a high-end establishment downtown then making a reservation may be essential; however, many smaller restaurants don't require one. In Spain specifically, most local eateries will not insist upon an advanced booking - particularly for lunchtime meals or during off-peak hours. Here are three tips that could help:
Look up reviews online – they often indicate if reservations are recommended
Check out the restaurant website – this should have more information about their policies
Give them a call directly – speaking to staff members might give you the clearest insight into their practices
Ultimately though, there’s no need to worry unduly about making bookings since Barcelona has so much delicious food and friendly service readily available! Whether it's tapas bars, seafood cafes or traditional bistros customers just walk right in and enjoy themselves without any hassle. There’s something wonderfully freeing in knowing exactly where your next meal is coming from without having to plan ahead too far in advance. If freedom and spontaneity sound appealing when exploring this vibrant city then luckily there are plenty of options out there which don't require reservations!
What Is The Average Cost Per Person For A Meal In Barcelona?
When it comes to dining out, one of the first questions we all have is what it will cost. When considering Barcelona restaurants, this question becomes even more pertinent. But how much does a meal in Barcelona typically set you back?
The average cost per person for a meal at a restaurant in Barcelona can vary depending on the type of establishment and food chosen. Generally speaking, however, diners can expect to pay anywhere between:
€15 - 20 for an economical lunch or dinner
€25 - 40 for mid-range meals
€50+ for fine dining experiences
It's possible to enjoy delicious Catalan cuisine without breaking your budget; many eateries offer good value sets menus that include starter, main course & dessert from around €20/person. For those looking to save even more money but still eat well, there are numerous tapas bars offering small plates at relatively low prices. It's also worth noting that many establishments offer discounts during certain times such as early bird specials and happy hours where drinks may be heavily discounted or buy one get one free offer.
So if you're planning a trip to Barcelona and want to experience its amazing culinary culture without spending too much money then make sure you do some research ahead of time so you know exactly what kind of deals are available before heading out into town!

2024.05.21 20:04 TasksRandom Bed liner options

I've read some of the bedliner posts on here, but just came away more undecided.
I got a quote from Line-X, but it was $625/$749 for standard/premium, which seems a little bit pricey considering the hit my wallet took buying the truck -- and learning how high my property taxes are for it!
I'm seriously considering the WeatherTech ImpactLiner https://www.weathertech.com/ford/2023/f-150-lightning/impactline?OrderItemId=2178898188 for about $200 (with taxes&shipping). Anyone here own it and willing to speak to its pros and cons? How's it hold up over time and to various loads and conditions?
Other than the WT, I like and dislike the idea of a full drop-in liner for various reasions. If I go this route, it looks like DualLiner is one of the better ones, but it's over twice as expensive ($479) as the WeatherTech.
I'm aware of Bedrug for about the same price as the DualLiner, but I'm not convinced of the durability of it. I occasionally haul wood, metal, or other sharp objects. And if I pick up mulch I can't imagine trying to get all the wood fibers out of the bedrug. And the last time I picked up bagged mulch, the wife chose red mulch and the bags were slightly wet. My driveway was stained red in spots for almost a year from the runoff -- we tried dawn, bleach, pressure washing... nothing removed it except time. I have to imagine red dye from mulch would ruin a Bedrug.!?
So, any advice or words of wisdom? The only thing I know I'm NOT going to do is a DIY spray-on.

2024.05.21 19:56 connordddm Used set or new Costco Callaway Edge set?

Used to play golf a lot with my dad as a kid & teen. Haven’t played in years and starting to pick it back up again (I’m now 25).
No idea what my handicap is, but I have a decent swing and im not a complete beginner. I’m looking to finally upgrade my clubs to something I feel more confident with, but not ready to blow a whole grand.
Still gaming a set of TopFlite inertia clubs my dad bought me when I was ~13y/o. I upgraded the driver and got a Taylormade R7 and Odyssey white hot putter. I’m really not a fan of the TF irons or 3 wood that came with the set so that’s my main priority.
I’m a lefty and it’s been really hard to find good used deals. I’m considering buying the Costco callaway edge set for $780 CAD, or I found this on Facebook marketplace for $500 CAD:
Looking for some opinions on this.

2024.05.21 19:51 mikejr91 New used car head gasket failure

It's not massively relevant but I'll preface this by saying haven't had much luck lately (generally and car-wise), I must've done something to really piss the gods off.
•December 2023: 2015 Ford Fiesta stolen and recovered with minimal damage (lucky)
•February 2024: Despite extra measures Ford Fiesta stolen a second time and written off (police are saying they might not be able to charge them unless there's evidence on the suspect's phones, even though they literally chased them across town and caught them red-handed... Don't ask 😑)
•May 2024: 2010 Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 TB 63k miles head gasket fails, had it only since April - slightly more than a month and done 2000 miles or so
Dealer has said they can get it fixed but only after the end of June... I need the car for work, and it came with Handler Protect warranty, so might I be pre-emptive by saying not to deal with them based on reviews, and ask for a refund for the Alfa? 🤔
I shall have to go with my tail between my legs to those who said not to buy an Alfa (I appreciate a head gasket can go on any car). 🥲
During this time I've also lost a bag with some important stuff in it on a train, and had a crown fall out, so some good luck will be appreciated 🍀🙏

2024.05.21 19:48 OutrageousKiwi5274 Weight limit on bike?

Hey all, I'm looking to buy a Reid granite 1.0, bike looks great for what I want, but I'm concerned about Reid saying the weight limit is 100kg,
Im getting an xl, (I'm 6'4) and I feel like this must just be liability or something because there's no way they don't expect anyone above 225 pounds on their bikes (before bags!)
Is this something I should be concerned about? Or is it just the company covering their ass?
Thanks!

2024.05.21 19:42 anteatertheater Starting to realize my (28M) fiance (28f) does not appreciate or respect me. Broken hearted over it. What do I do now?

Hey all,
I’m pretty defeated at this point. I don’t know what to do or where to turn. I’m a good partner, I know I am. I don’t cheat, I work hard, I am religious, and I truly love my girl to death.
But every so often she shows me how little respect she has for me. It truly breaks my heart. She loves me I know she does but maybe she just doesn’t see me as a strong individual? I also buy her anything she wants but then she turns around and says I don’t do enough. Granted I don’t cook because I never learned but I will do the dishes and clean the house when I have free time. She does all the cooking but I’ll stand by or in the kitchen to help her cut chicken and do what I can to assist.
I had to travel for the summer for work. She calls me up crying and saying she feels lonely so I immediately book her a ticket to come stay with me for a few days. Just a few moments later she asks me for some money to buy herself alcohol because she feels stressed. I had sent her a few dollars a few days prior for alcohol. She then asks me “can we get into a fight. I’m in the mood to fight”. I said no because I don’t like fighting and it’s a ridiculous request. She gets mad at me anyways so I just ignore her for the rest of the day.
Fast forward to today, she’s packing her bags to see me and says a random man knocked on our door and she answered. I told her not to answer the door for random men since she’s all alone right now. We have a camera doorbell but the batteries died a few days ago. She gets mad at me saying it’s my responsibility to change them. I remind her that I am out of town and I can’t change them. She says how I’m not doing enough to protect her and then she claims how I just don’t listen to her. I tell her just because I didn’t change the batteries before I left doesn’t mean I don’t protect her. Why did I get the ring doorbell in the first place?
I text her saying “I’m asking you to speak to me with appreciation. I’m asking that you see how hard I work to be the best partner for you every single day. I stick around through everything because I know it’s hard being in a different country despite knowing I deserve better. I am available to have a conversation with you. But I am not available to be yelled at, asked to be fought with, and not appreciated. I’m not going to stay here while you talk to me like this and put me down.”
She then shoots back at me saying again how I don’t listen and there’s no point in having a conversation. I try so hard to be civil, hold a calm conversation all the time but it’s her who just wants to fight. It’s like it’s in her blood. She tells me she never asked me to buy her a ticket to see me - which is true.. but I thought since she told me she missed me and is lonely that buying her a ticket to see me would be a good solution. She uses that and turns it around telling me it’s proof I don’t listen because she never asked me to buy her a ticket.
Back when we first started dating, I explained to her that I’m not an argumentative type person. It’s exhausting and I’ve just never been a fan. It seems like she drives on arguments. It’s the only thing that will wake her up in the morning.
I have been begging her for years to talk to me with respect without slamming doors, raising her voice, etc.. I’ve tried showing her better communication skills but she doesn’t grasp it. I ask her over and over what I can do to be a better partner and all she comes back with saying is “listen”. I do listen.
I see joking videos about how this is actually her culture (she’s Arab) but now I’m thinking it’s not a joke. And I told her multiple times that I am starting to really get discouraged. She’s really tearing me up. I just can’t do this for much longer. I love her so deeply but I think about how I deserve someone who will appreciate me and be excited to see me when they tell me they’re lonely. I want someone who will notice I’m a good partner and not take me for granted.
Yes we have talked in person and I’ve told her how I don’t feel appreciated but she takes this as an attack and immediately shoots back and takes a calm conversation and turns it into a war.
I’m truly torn. At what point will I respect myself and walk away? I deserve better. What do I do?

2024.05.21 19:42 Holiday-Entry4376 [QCrit] Adult Contemporary Fantasy TWO WAYS TO BE IMMORTAL (74K/version 1)

Hi Pubtips!
I appreciate any feedback I can get. I finished the first draft recently, and wrote up the query while I'm letting it rest.
I'm labeling this contemporary fantasy since I think this story fits pretty firmly under that, but I've also considered cozy fantasy due to the personal stakes and hopeful tone I hope is present in the ms (also, tbh, because it seems popular). I don't think the query I've written really reflects coziness, though, and the definition of cozy fantasy still feels kinda nebulous to me, but if anyone has any thoughts on the labels, I'd love to hear. Thanks!
TWO WAYS TO BE IMMORTAL is a 74000-word contemporary fantasy that plays with the soulmate and reincarnation tropes. Inspired by the anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, this standalone novel has the whimsical magic and heart of Sangu Mandanna’s The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches and themes of memories and immortality similar to The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab.
Mikoto Jinguji is one of the few immortal magi living amongst humans. Despite her apathy towards romance, she runs a successful business matching people to their one or many soulmates using her magically scientific (and trademarked) potions. Outwardly, Mikoto promises happiness with soulmates; in private, she fudges results that might garner complaints and lets people buy the matches they want. As long as clients don’t hassle her, Mikoto has no qualms. She never sees a match through to the end, anyway.
The soulmate business is a front for her true goal: develop a potion that will bring the reincarnation locked within a person to the forefront. Each unwitting client is a potential test subject, but the only reincarnation Mikoto’s looking for is the friend she failed to save centuries ago. She’s encountered his reincarnations repeatedly through the years, but they’ve never remembered her. Mikoto finds the latest reincarnation in her newly-hired assistant Kendall, a recent grad whose diligence and curiosity she appreciates.
When her potion is nearly done, Kendall figures out her true motive and his role in it. Mikoto expects his outrage and settles on waiting another century or so for the next reincarnation (perks of being immortal), but Kendall offers a deal instead: use him as she wants, even replace his memories completely with the reincarnation’s, if she’ll end her soulmate business. It’s an easy decision at first, until Mikoto learns Kendall’s reasons behind the deal and the harm her seemingly innocuous business has caused. As guilt creeps in, Mikoto starts to think she’s taken things too far, but after dedicating centuries to bringing her friend back, she’s not sure letting him go is an option anymore.
