Listed my ticket tor Taylor Swift in Stockholm today (May 19) and it sold several days ago. I just received an email from Stubhub telling me that transferred the wrong ticket. The listing was “Front standing right” while I had, and ultimately transferred, “Front standing left”. I thought I was beyond certain my ticket was right (this is what I remember buying last year) but turns out I was wrong (and the ticket names being in Swedish didn’t help).
I feel so bad for the buyer. I want to know what happens next if anyone has been through this.

I realize my case may be an outlier and others are more than likely to have had more positive experience than me, but anyway, here's my story. I am on vacation in Italy with my wife, initially the purpose of the trip was to attend an F1 race, but as the vacation date came closer we started realizing that the hotels within 50km radius of the race track are ridiculously expensive, we thought that we may as well just fly in and spend 3-4 days travelling the Northern Italy.
We arrived in Milan late on Friday night and I thought I'd check StubHub to see if there are any reasonably priced tickets available for Sunday with a thought that maybe tickets cheaper than face value may offset some of hotel costs. I found a ticket in Rivazza 1 that was well priced, probably close to face value - about 250 EUR, and thought - what the hell, it is the only race this season that I will be able to attend. I booked the ticket and went to sleep.
Woke up on Saturday morning and went to hotel reception to print the ticket and realized that the ticket the seller submitted was for Saturday, not Sunday. There is absolutely no way this was an honest mistake and I knew that StubHub backs its buyers with FanProtect warranty promising to provide an alternative ticket to the event in such cases. I realized that their support line hours started at 5:00am PST, which is 14:00 local time, so we drove to Modena, attended Enzo Ferrari museum and at that point I got ahold of the support agent, which assured me that they were going to contact the seller and let them provide the correct ticket. I expressed my concern that this was not a mistake by the seller and instead an attempt to sell a fraudulent ticket, and that they were not going to respond. To which the agent said that this was one of their reliable sellers and that they would give them time to respond and provide the correct ticket. I asked how much time and we agreed on a couple of hours.
So I decided to hang around and explore Modena while I get a response from StubHub and decide whether to go closer to Imola or to abandon this idea and go south, to Florence, Rome, Pisa, etc. 3 hours later, around 17:00 local time I contacted StubHub again and after another half an hour on the line they determined that the seller failed to respond and that they could issue an alternative ticket if I wished. I asked how long it would take, because I needed to plan the remainder of my trip accordingly, and they said they escalated the request to the respective team and that I should expect an email from them. I reiterated that the event starts in the morning (support races, etc.) and that the response from the team they escalated the request to should be prompt. Since we were unable to determine the course of the remainder of our vacation at that point, we determined that we'd go to Florence, knowing that if StubHub provides alternative tickets, I would be able to take a train to Imola and be there in less than 90 minutes.
At 21:00 local time I contacted StubHub once again, reiterating that this is a time sensitive matter and that it's unreasonable that their respective team can't issue alternative tickets in a timely fashion and that I have spent the total of 2 hours already trying to get them to fulfill their FanProtect guarantee. They responded with the same template response: "I can see that my colleague has already escalated this request to the respective team and you should expect an email from them shortly". It's almost midnight local time and guess what.. still no response from StubHub. It's not my first race and I can surely find other leisurely activities for the next few days of my vacation, but this speaks volumes to how much their fans are actually UNprotected.

Anyone in this group have Dallas stars tickets they are actively trying to sell on legit sites such as stubhub, vivid seats, or other similar platforms? If so, please DM your active listing link. If not but you have tickets you may be willing to sell etc. please DM ticket info (date, seat row and #, price per ticket) you’d part with them for or any trades etc. you’d consider. I purchased a couple tickets for the Nov 4 NYC show but then found out I wouldn’t be able to go at that time so I put my tickets up on Stub. I bumped my ticket prices by only $10 just so I get closer to what I actually paid for them after what stubhub takes from a potential sale. For people who have sold on Stubhub before, how likely do you think my tickets will sell and how long do you think it may be if they do sell?

This is literally the eighth time I have gotten this email and every single time I have responded TELLING THEM VIA EMAIL AND CALLING THEM that the upload was a duplicate and explaining how they need to find replacement tickets for this person. When I first realized the mistake I used the feature on the crappy website to indicate that I would not be able to provide the second ticket, and they CANNOT GET THE FUCKING MESSAGE. I am consistently flabbergasted at how poor the quality of their customer service is. The first time I called I was lied to, he said "my case would be made his top priority" and the second time the caller said there were no notes or records of me calling them the night before. This is literally the shittiest company I have ever given my business to!!

I’ll pay more on Ticketmaster though if they have it for sure.
This is a new thing and prevents fraud so only the true owner can use the ticket no matter how many people had it or screenshots because the UPC and barcode on ticket is live and changes every 15 minutes. 👍🏼

I have 4 tickets to the concert in Munich but I can't go anymore because of a family matter. I don't want these tickets to go to waste, and I'd rather someone else be able to go instead. So I have tickets to an upcoming Taylor swift concert in Lisbon on may 24th. I purchased my tickets on StubHub/viagogo & had a travel conflict, so I listed them for sale. Somebody purchased them, so I awaited the tickets from StubHub to be released to me so that I could then transfer them to my buyer! The tickets were delivered on a third party app - see tickets - & there is NOOO OPTION ANYWHERE to transfer the tickets to my buyer! I’m freaking out about it. I’ve called StubHub/viagogo and they were no help. I can’t find any contact info for seetickets portugal, but I’m hoping I could call the US line and they could give me some insight. If I don’t deliver the tickets, I obviously won’t get paid, but I’ll get a huge fee, and would be screwing over some random person. Has anyone else had an issue with this???

I see a lot of folks on this sub complaining that it’s “shady practice” but it’s actually standard practice, by the event organizer or venue. Organizers may hold tickets for the artist or the team (for their guest list). Venues make specific tickets available only after the stage or event area is set up. There may be other additional reasons too depending on who is hosting and organizing.
In my experience buying football tickets (General Admission) from the teams’ official websites, the tickets are emailed 24h before the game. Or if purchased within 24h before the game, it’s emailed 2h before. So you see, this isn’t related to StubHub at all.
I get that it makes people nervous when they don’t get their tickets right on transaction, but that’s just how it works sometimes. Hope that clears up some confusion.

I bought (4) $400 non-transferrable GA tickets to the Sphere for 6/8 but I'm using a friends tickets and need to sell mine. I sold my tickets on Stubhub to realize they're non-transferrable. If I can't transfer, I now also owe Stubhub another $400 per ticket and am $3,200 in the hole overall.
I've read that these become may become transferrable within 72 hours of showtime. Has anyone with 5/16-5/18 tickets seen their tix become transferrable? Any recommendations for me?

P.S. All Ticketmaster customer service has to say is they "can't guarantee tickets will become transferrable." And Stubhub told me I'm on the hook, no exceptions and I'm ugly.
P.P.S. I bought Allianz insurance but from what I've read this sounds like a serious headache where I'll have to lie and I'd rather not go this route if I don't have to.

So my daughter LOVES Melanie Martinez so we surprised her with tickets to a show I got from stubhub. They said that tickets may not be released until the day of the show! This makes me very nervous that we will travel 4 hours for nothing. Has anyone actually had stubhub come through with replacing tickets if you were scammed?

I may buy an ultra late ticket to EDC from Stubhub, like today, and show starts in 2 days. Based on what I've read on their website, we pick these up at "Last Minute Services" pickup location, but the exact place isn't mentioned. Has anyone done this before?
Is it like a kiosk onsite at the speedway? Or is there some address in Las Vegas?

I bought tickets in March to see the TS concert in Toronto in November. Seller has not transferred the tickets to this point (even though it's possible). I have to spend a lot of non-refundable travel $$$ to book the airfare and hotel for the trip, and nervous about the transfer not happening. I called StubHub customer service last week and they sent the seller an email that got no response. This week the CS rep offered to call the seller to encourage them to complete the transfer. I'm told the seller is "not comfortable" transferring the ticket until "at earliest one month before the event in case something happens to the tickets." Is this normal/reasonable? What could the seller possibly think is going to happen to the tickets after she transfers them? Is this a sign they may not even have them? Very worried I've bought from a bad seller and my 10yo daughter will be devastated if this falls apart -- especially since the tour is virtually finished by that point in the year. Any advice? Is this normal? Anything else I can do besides wait & pray until October?
