Armor Passives
Electrical Conduit (reworked): Provides Arc damage Resistance to yourself and nearby teammates + ignore stun from EMS effects
Hydraulic Assisted: Improve Weapon Ergonomics + increase Melee damage and stagger
Flame Retardant: Ignore damage over time from fire + fire effects on surfaces that you create last 4 seconds longer
Internal Targeting System: Your drone and sentry strategems will avoid shooting friendly helldiver's including yourself + shows trajectory of projectiles before shooting or throwing them.
Strategems
Orbital Incindiary Airburst Strike: Launches a single Incindiary laiden projectile that detonates mid air covering a large area in fire.
Orbital Arc Strike: Sends down a large Arc beam comparable to a bolt of lightning that targets the tallest enemy in the area then arcs to the next tallest, and the next tallest, and so on up to 5 times.
Pelican Overwatch: Call in the Pelican Gunship to follow and hover above you providing overwatch with it's high caliber autocannon.
DRT-10 Syringe gun: Call in a syringe gun that uses compressed air to launch hypodermic needles at high velocities to your teammates. These syringes duration can be increased by the MED-Kit armor passive. These syringes have no effect on enemies.
LAS-202 Gatling: Call in a multibarreled, rotary, laser Gatling Gun as a support weapon. Comes with a backpack required for use and does not need reloading but will overheat after frequent use and requires a brief cool down period.
FLAM-12 Heat Gun: Call in a short two handed "heat gun" rifle originally designed for industrial welding in the vacuum of space to obliterate foes with a wide beam of superheated air hotter than the surface of the sun.
Weapons And grenades
LAS-15 Falchion: A Laser SMG similar to the Sickle with higher damage, slower fire rate, more inaccuracy, and the one handed trait.
LAS-27 Hammer: A laser Shotgun with a variable spread determined by how long you hold down on the trigger. The longer you hold, the more accurate.
ARC-5 Cranky (name pending): An arc pistol designed with a hand operated crank used to charge it. After cranking the pistol 3 times the pistol will be "charged". Once charged firing the pistol will result in 3 high powered arc bolts being discharged from the gun operating in a similar manner to that of the Blitzer.
P-93 Dart: A pistol designed to shoot non-lethal darts that stick to surfaces and enemies and act as a homing beacon for the next strategem used by the operator.
G-17: An arc based grenade with a small charge up time that sends out 3 high damage arc bursts that can arc to additional enemies up to 2 times each.
G-1 Grenade: A cheap "ballistic grenade" as dubbed by the ministry of truth. It's effectiveness is only outmatched by its plentifullness. Helldivers spawn in with an infinite number of these grenades. (It's a rock)

2024.05.19 09:57 corpsehottie So very frustrated with destruction of my house

My dog, he’s about 4-5 the shelter was unsure of his age exactly, was moved shelter from shelter plus survived parvo & Lyme. Which means he had to be isolated for at least 3 weeks in the shelter for the parvo, I gave him antibiotics for the Lyme due to the shelter “missing it.” So basically when I got him, he was not labeled aggresive at all, which I’m totally aware aggression is always a risk you’re taking with an animal. But the point being, I got him and he was sooooo chill…because he was sooooo sick and almost dead. I’d walk him and he’d walk a few steps and just sit down :(. 3 days of antibiotics and he changed entirely. He became entergetic, playful etc . Don’t get me wrong my dog isn’t mean, I just genuinely think he’s been through some shit. Like when I do laundry, I lift hangers to put them in clothes and he gets scared. He’s scared of knives too, which I think is so odd for a dog to be scared of a blade. And he hates meeting new people, going to the park is super hard, and the vet is incredibly difficult. He has to be muzzled & medicated for the vet. Another thing is when I leave for work he’s in a kennel, he’s a small, maybe considers medium dog? He’s 25 lb and in a kennel large enough for a German Shepard. Lots of toys, blankets etc. I had to get a $300 hunting dog kennel for him because the other kennels despite being big enough, he kept breaking out of. When he’d break out he’d demolish the house. So I tried leaving him out? I thought maybe he just hated the kennel. So he chewed the doorframe completely off the door. Chewed holes in everything. And it’s not that I’m mad, I mean yea I’m frustrated but god I feel so bad for him. I can’t imagine being so anxious you chew through the doorframe trying to find your mom. I just wanna fix it and I don’t know how.

2024.05.19 09:56 Cfattie Suggestion to add "Sell Item" as a project type for Corporation Projects

I am venturing as a very small corporation that focuses on sale of items in stations other than Trade Hubs. I am looking for a way to incentivize members to sell certain items whether that be on a short-term or long-term basis, and it would be very helpful if I could pay them a subsidy whenever they sell a specific item in a specific station.
To that end, it would be very useful for a project manager to be able to, as an example, open up a Corporation Project to sell [Null S] in [MXYS-8 II - Intaki Commerce Warehouse], with a payout set at 4.00 ISK per unit sold. Essentially what that does is offer additional profit margins to anyone in the corporation selling that item, incentivizing player members to stock that item in a designated station (even in the case that it may not be profitable otherwise), allowing a corporation to keep their station stocked for key items at competitive prices by its members without any additional oversight.
Furthermore we may be able to see more corporations create new minor trade hubs centered around the corporation itself in low and high-sec, vaguely similar to how we see it in Stacmon by EVE Uni. These minor trade hubs may focus on very specific activities, allowing for pockets of revived activity in constellations that I believe are relatively dead due to poor market conditions. With enough capital, a corporation could singlehandedly establish a small gang PVP market hub in Molden Heath, for example, simply by telling its members what to sell there via its Corporation Projects.
Please consider allowing corporate subsidies of specific items in specific stations via a "Sell Item" option in Corporation Projects.

Currently the Mini 4 Pro is sold for about $940 which is the regular price, while the Mavic 3 Classic is on sale for $1170. I had many drones before (Mavic Pro-Mavic Mini-Air 2S). I prefer the Mini as it is not restricted by regulations but I hate that I can’t fly it when it’s windy. I’m not sure which one I should go for and I would appreciate if someone can give me a reason to get one and not the other. TIA

Morning. Just an opinion, obviously, and might be an obvious one to some, but not all, and the tl;dr: We need to sell before we buy new players.
Outside of DM, I personally think we need to get rid before we buy, in other positions. We have a lot of players on the books. Look at Man City's current squad, they actually don't have a huge squad, and use some youth like Lewis and Bobb, and they compete on 4 fronts every season, yes it is a good expensive squad, but not huge. With the loan players returning, we most definitely need to sell before buying any other players. And that's not factoring in FFP.
I know people are dreaming about new signings, and some think we NEED and HAVE to strengthen with the Champions League, but I don't think it is particularly realistic unless we have buyers for the deadwood and buyers for the non key players, and maybe even a buyer for a star like Luiz or Ramsey if we got a good fee, if we were to do a bigger rebuild or spend big.
Factoring in FFP, it sounds like we are actually ok with FFP this year? I.e. no potential points deductions for us... But we have little wiggle room for any new signings. Champs League bumps in current players pay has no doubt had an effect too on budgets - I think CL money received will factor into next years ffp cycle? Might be wrong!
So who we sell will determine who/how many players we sign. And selling players is tough, as we full well know! Sadly it isn't like Fifa!:

The obvious position that is weakest is DM, given Unai clearly does not trust Tim and we want to sell Donk. With Kamara injured till October, we simply need a DM in.
But other than that, depth is actually there, and quality is not bad . Quite unprecedented the amount of injuries we have had to key players this season. And when one comes back, another seemed to be out. Don't think I can recall so many injuries throughout the season as a whole, not since Houllier's season, and it is worse than then as well. We have only had 11/12 senior players for last few games too. If we have better luck with injuries, top 4 probably would have been secured long ago, and we may have got to the final of the UECL too. We started last season without Buendia, Mings*, Ramsey, Moreno - 4 key squad players, we should have them this time. Ramsey and Moreno haven't had a Pre season with Emery yet, nor has Rogers, Sousa, Kosta, and Gauci. Duran should improve. Diaby has had a year to settle and still put up decent 1st season numbers. Torres too. Tielemans has been brilliant after a slow start. Kamara will be back in autumn.
There is real reasons to still be hopeful for the new season if we are hamstrung by a bloated squad and/or FFP if you are one of those where it is transfers and transfers only which is what get you excited about a season. Feel like this paragraph needs to be stated, the way I see some act in transfer season 🤗 UTV

I’m in the market for a new or refurbished high quality home office chair. So I’ve been learning about this market just over the past several days. My current chair is a Nouhaus ErgoFlip that I bought 4 years ago for $200 (because the arm rests flip up) but it’s terrible now and I need to replace it.
After doing some research, it seemed that refurbished is the way to go since the quality is almost as good as new and it’s 1/2-1/3 the price. I’m leaning towards getting the Steelcase Leap V2 as it seems to be the best chair you can get for under $600 as per many reviews.
After some more research, the two main competitors for this type of refurbished chair seemed to be BTOD and Crandall. Between the two, Crandall seemed to be a no brainer as they offer thicker seats than the normal Leap which you would think makes it more comfortable than BTOD. I also saw glowing praise of Crandall on this subreddit and on Amazon. So I was very close to buying a refurbished Leap from the Crandall website and paying extra for the thicker back and seat, for around $600. I even made a post about it here a couple days ago. Subsequently, as I was in the process of making a purchase on the Crandall website, I saw an option to purchase a newer refurbished Leap, but couldn't utiiize it. I called Crandall sales to inquire more, but to my surprise, no one picked up the phone during business hours. That's very unusual for a company sales department not to pick up the phone.
This prompted me to hold off and do a bit more digging. I was disturbed by what I found. It started by seeing the “top critical review” of the Crandall refurbished Leap on their Amazon page (which only displays on a desktop and not my phone):

The 2 star review with 81 "helpful" votes basically calls Crandall a scam because their foam seating is extremely cheap, breaks down quickly, and IS NOT COVERED by their 12 year warranty. I haven’t really seen this highly-upvoted criticism (on Amazon) addressed here.
In fact, as I looked more at this subreddit, it seems Crandall heavily astroturfs this subreddit (and perhaps the Amazon page too) by taking random accounts, temporarily using them to shill for Crandall, and pass themselves off as being disinterested third parties. These accounts then seem to be discarded (barely any subsequent posts after the accounts served their purpose of shilling Crandall in a thread and upvoting other shilling posts). Again, these accounts do not disclose that they are being operated by Crandall employees. In some older threads, the account name says "deleted" for obvious astroturfed posts, so Crandall seems to outright delete their more obvious examples. The owner also appears frequently to present extra legitimacy, which by itself would be fine, but of course as your attention is focused on him, it isn’t apparent that his employees are swarming this sub.
This post noticed the pattern 4 years ago and it certainly hasn’t gotten any better since I've seen this behavior in many threads made after that. It also seems to be an issue people want to tiptoe around for some reason as it's rarely squarely addressed judging from a search:

Maybe I’m old fashioned, but these highly aggressive and sneaky tactics really rub me the wrong way. They’ve lost a sale from me. Ironically Crandall employees seem to spend all their time online engaging in these questionable tactics rather than simply answer the phone.
Just from doing my own Google searches I found out about a store called OHR Home Office Solutions that’s based in the NYC and NJ area but ship all over. They seem to do refurbishments of many top chairs, including the Leap, Gesture, and Herman Miller Aeron, at least at Crandall’s quality, and for a decently cheaper price. I plan on visiting either their warehouse sale or showroom to test out the chairs in person and make a purchase there.
When I searched this subreddit for OHR, almost NOTHING came up. That’s really a shame. I dunno if Crandall owns this subreddit or something, but it should be for information, not unmarked advertisements, and I think the worthy alternative of OHR should be discussed more, instead of 50% of posts shilling for Crandall.
That’s my two cents anyway, hope this post helps others.

I also can't complain about Furiosa's presales in my theaters, not at all. Already 1,138 sold tickets (in all of "my" 7 theaters) for May 23. 14 days left. Promising start. Civil War on Thursday of the release week for Thursday had 1,357 sold tickets and The Fall Guy finally had 1,071 sold tickets (May 9).)

The Garfield Movie Thursday / EA+Thursday Comp: $1.22M/$1.97M

abracadabra1998 ($0.72M EA comp and $1.19M Thursday comp. The two comps that are most helpful, Wish and Trolls (not PLF, EA on a weekend, family movies) are both pointing to a lot lower than average, so I'm inclined to give those a lot more weight. I'm thinking $500-600k for EA (May 18). Still not really accelerating, and the EA is falling against comps (May 12). Good EA numbers, but many of these comps were PLF-only EA, which this is not, so I think the ATP will be quite lower and that should be adjusted for (May 9).)
AniNate (EA screenings are pretty filled to the brim here now for what that's worth. Maybe a surge in family demand will present itself later next week (May 17). EA sales look decent now, but this does feel rather weak compared to the IF presales. Not 100% certain what's going on here but based on this I buy the trades' opening estimates over the forum vibes (May 15). I definitely haven't seen as much of a rush here with Garfield as with IF (May 11).)
el sid (The very even sales are a good sign (May 7). For Sunday, May 19, I can already report that also in my theaters it looks very good for Garfield. They will for sure add shows soon. It has so far only 1 show/theater and the shows are almost sold out, between 1 and 4 seats are still available. So my guess still is that this movie if it's not totally bad (and first reviews here were quite positive) will become a (big) hit. Seems not much on Thursday but it's a step in the right direction (May 6).)

That said this will under index in MTC1 as Panda also did that. Still struggling to see this as a breakout. Looking at the current state, it looks like half of IF as well !!! Of course that had Reynolds and did not finish that great (May 17). Its definitely weaker than even Elemental. That said these movies tend to finish strong and so I am not writing it off so early. Just that the long PS window is irrelevant for them. They could rather start presales like a week before release and it would be all the same. Meh. We have to wait until next week to gauge where its going to finish. It has very low ATP as well and actual would be even lower as its going to see tons of kids tickets (May 14). Early shows are regular digital shows at 1PM this sunday. So ATP will be very low. I think 500k ish at best. Preview let us see how things go in the final week. Presales at this point are almost non existent (May 13).)

Threw in Shazam 2 and Barbie simply due to having nothing suitable at T-27, and I wanted something that was backloaded in pre-sales. Was prepared to make a smart-aleck comment about the unsuitability of the pre-sale pattern of Barbie, but after today's update... Okay, yeah. Still no. But what a weird pattern. Was there some sort of promo that dropped today that I'm not aware of? Either way, just a great day (for this type of movie at this point in pre-sales) (May 17). Fairly strong day today, actually. Was concentrated at a couple of theaters (including a small group sale at one showing), but still, sales are sales (May 16). I really do not have good comps for this movie. Like, at all. Especially for D1. With that in mind, I did some digging and did manage to get the Elemental D1 numbers out of the old Tracking thread: IO2 = 5.45946x Elemental on D1 [13.10m]. Now will Inside Out 2 be as backloaded as Elemental? Well it's tough to literally sell 5.5x times the amount of tickets on the final couple of days that Elemental did, so perhaps not. But it does show how fracking backloaded purely kids animation is. Anyway, this is 30 days out and it isn't a CBM film (like AtSV) or CBM-adjacent film (like Incredibles 2). The Sonic 2 comp is perhaps a little concerning. On the other hand, nearly a weeks more of pre-sales so not exactly a great comp. 3.5% of presales are 3D and 40.1% are PLF (May 15). On the Saturday of release weekend (ie NOT EA) there is a special event screening for IO2: INSIDE OUT 2: FUNKO FAMILY EVENT! (2024) Sat June 15th. Might boost the OW slightly, depending on how wide this event is and how much more these tickets will presumably cost (May 11).)

Here at Marcus theaters are going all out for IO2 with it having the lion share of PLFs with it getting both screens when there is two PLFs with tentpole like levels of screens (May 14). Was taking a look at Marcus Cinemas to see that they have preloaded Inside Out 2 showtimes which seem to start at 3:00 pm on a Thursday. It seems like Marcus is going all out on it as judging from showtimes it's taking away all of Bad Boys’ PLFs in that theaters that have two+ PLFs are giving all to IO2 (May 11).)

I think we can kind of predict its OW after its OD presales (May 18). RESPONSE TO PORTHOS: Captain Marvel had very strong sales on its OD despite early start. So OD is all about fans. It does not matter if you start 2 weeks before or 9 weeks. They will still book. So it would be interesting to compare OD sales not only with CM for @Porthos but also the big openers in 2022/23 period from MTC perspective. 1) DS2 - 230k ish. 2) Thor 4 - 136k ish. 3) Wakanda - 110k. 4) Ant 3 - 88K. 5) Guardians 3 - 70k ish. I wonder where Deadpool 3 will land. Anything is fine as long as it does pull in a Marvels (May 17).)
Porthos (No point of comparison for a movie starting presales this early (60+ days before release). Only MCU entry which comes close was Captain Marvel back in Jan of 2019 (T-58 start date). Aside from that, the only other Disney release would be TROS starting at T-59. This is gonna be the longest pre-sale window for a major Disney release since The Last Jedi all the way back in 2017 (which looks to be around 70 days if a cursory check of when tickets went on sale is correct). Hell, it's gonna be the longest major release of any studio since Fast X's execrable 99 day pre-sale window. Have had some that came close-ish, but probably the most on-point recent comparison will be Jurassic World 3's 43 day pre-sale window, which is still over three weeks shorter than this one. I mention this because the sheer length of the pre-sale window will very likely depress the D1/D2/D3 sales somewhat. Maybe not much, but you can't tell me there'd be no difference between a T-21 launch, a T-29 launch, a T-35 launch and a T-65 launch. Sure, it's a matter of smaller degrees when comparing something like a BP2 (starting at T-38), but that extra month is probably gonna slice some numbers off the top of the pile, especially after the first day (May 17).)

Europoor here, been in tech sales for a good 4+ years now. Company been struggling for a bit, some reps are killing it, many aren’t..
Company put 10+ reps on a pip and gave me the boot on Friday. Will probably have to lawyer up in order to get proper severance.
But honestly, feeling relieved .. can’t believe I stuck with them this long, I probably got a bit of Stockholm syndrome.
