This movie might initially appear to be a pro-Christian film, but if you delve deeper, it resonates on a much more profound level, shedding light on the subtleties of addiction and its consequences. The story predominantly unfolds as an intense interview between an inmate and a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist is tasked with the critical responsibility of determining whether the inmate, who has committed multiple murders, is mentally ill. This judgment will ultimately decide if the inmate faces execution. And this inmate is taken over by the demon and its on the pschiatrist hands to ascertain if its true or not.
The demon in the movie reveals a chilling motive: the desire to conquer and destroy humans because they are created in the image of God, which is an affront to demons. To achieve this, demons target individuals with weak moral compasses, starting from a young age. Every small negative decision, every act that harms oneself or others, and every indulgence in sinful behavior makes a person more susceptible to demonic influence. The demon explains that the seven deadly sins—pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth—are primary tools in their arsenal. By exploiting these sins, demons gradually erode a person's soul, making it easier to ultimately destroy them.
The protagonist argues with the demon, asserting that the world is improving, with progress in areas like racism, literacy, and moral standards. However, the demon counters by highlighting the widespread normalization of degeneracy, making it easier to find victims. The demon points to contemporary issues such as the prevalence of pornography, junk food and obesity, drug use, and casual abortions. While the protagonist may personally disagree, the demon's claim that humans have normalized treating a new life as non-living flesh, and not calling it murder, is depicted as part of a broader process of normalizing debauchery.
It's no wonder how true this is in real life; we seldom take a step back to question why we chase after money, indulge in pornography, consume junk food, obsess over gaming, and glorify low dopamine tasks. This current landscape mirrors the moral and cultural decay the demon talks about in the movie. The irony is that this film is highly appreciated by audiences, with a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, while receiving only 33% from so-called depraved, bought-out movie critics. This disparity lends more credibility to the demon's claims about the normalization of moral decay and debauchery discussed in the film.

I am trying to find what seems as if it should be a simple answer. That said, I cannot find one within the statutes of my state (MO).
Hypothetically, a living revocable trust has been taken over by the first successor trustee following the passing of the grantor. Said successor trustee and their sibling are the two sole beneficiaries, to be split 50-50. Language within the instrument states that upon death of a beneficiary, their share shall go to that individual’s issues.
Straightforward so far.
The non-trustee beneficiary was already in memory care and close to hospice care at the time of grantor’s death, and had a conservator (public administrator). Trustee then went about disposing of the assets held by the trust. During that process the other beneficiary died.
The hiccup? One item within the trust is a piece of real estate which was occupied by other family members. Further explanation is unrelated to this question.
****The question: Does the Successor Trustee have an requirement to continue distribution to the estate of the decedent beneficiary (still handled by a Public Administrator) or are they required to shift over and distribute any undistributed assets or monies to decedent’s issues? Again, trust instrument, in passing, mentions death of beneficiary sees their share go to their issues. No other known instructions in trust, and I cannot find a clear resource for review.
Trustee and attorney for Public Administrator have been dodgy in giving an answer and things have reached a point where no one is talking to each other, despite my/our attempts to find fair solutions to multiple ongoing issues.
For several reasons, I do politely request that I not only be told to check with an attorney. It’s been a mess of a situation due to further complications on other aspects that unfortunately did not get specifically resolved prior to the grantor’s passing.
Thanks for any information. We’ve had counsel for several matters but they aren’t knowledgeable or comfortable with probate. Out on a limb and looking to pointed in the right direction for the pertinent information. 🙏🤘

Trigger warning: sexual assault, suicide
I (29f) have been friends with Friend A (40m) and Friend B (39m) for six years after meeting in the office we all work in. About a year and a half ago, A started experiencing severe insomnia and depression. B and I recommended A to seek professional help, but A rejected this for many months until December 2023 when B called emergency services following what we considered to be credible suicidal threats. Since then, A has started therapy and is taking medication for the insomnia and depression. B and I have continued to try to be present friends, listening and offering encouragement. End of March 2023, A confided in us that he was raped as a teenager. I won’t pretend that we landed the response perfectly, but I have apologized for things that I did wrong (not discussing the assault and aftermath) out of fear of making our friendship all about the assault. We have reiterated to him that it was not his fault and that he do not see him any differently.
I believe the situation is toxic. I understand that A is hurting and I can only imagine the burden he’s carrying. As time passes, our relationship with him gets worse as he lashes out saying that we are only pretend friends and is completely isolated. He’ll make passive aggressive comments to us at work and send us expletive ridden texts telling us that we aren’t doing enough, accusing us of abandoning him. We have not disappeared. We’ve all hung outside of work together since this happened. We still talk on a day to day basis, even outside of work. When he expresses feelings of abandonment, we tell him we’re trying to be there for him and ask how we can do better, and he just gets upset. He reminds us not infrequently, almost angrily, that the only reason he’s still alive is because B made that call.
I’m a single mom to two small kids (2 and 4). I’m doing my best to be there but I just cannot offer on call support. In addition to this, there was an indication in about September that A has romantic feelings for me. This all makes my partner very uncomfortable, as he doesn’t want me so emotionally invested in another man but also doesn’t want A to kill himself.
Last night A texted me expressing his feelings of isolation, and within ten minutes as I sat trying to provide a delicate response, he sends an expletive filled mini rant to the group chat with A, B, and me about how he’s done and with an emoji with a gun to his head. I told him I would call him once I put my son to bed, and I did. We spent about an hour on the phone, where he cursed at me and continued to tell I vanished. I told him I wasn’t going to say anything about how I responded in the past because I didn’t want to make it sound like I was making excuses, but that I was sorry for not being what he needed before and I was here. He just got angry and laughed. He demanded an explanation for my approach in different situations, and when I provided them, he just called them BS. He gave me an ultimatum, saying I needed to show I could be a real friend or he would “move on”. I told him he needed to tell me exactly what he had in mind, and eventually he said I needed to be more intentional in asking about his emotional wellbeing and not keeping him at arms length. I told him I could do that.
It turns out that after we hung up, he had the same conversation with B but it ended badly. I woke up to a string of nonsensical texts to the group thread, the last of which said “I'm about to have done dipshits that think the know a damn thing promisr me it's my fault. In reality I love you and want your babies”. I find this to be grossly inappropriate and it makes me incredibly uncomfortable. Such things are disrespectful to both me and my partner. I told him that what he said was not okay, and he responded he was “going to hide in shame” and talking about how much he needs us.
I’ve been yelled at, laughed at, cussed at. Anything I’ve done for this person has been equated to nothing despite the significant turmoil it’s caused in my life. So far I have taken all of this on the chin without blinking but I think a line has been crossed here. This feels like a scheme of self sabotage that I’m caught in the middle of. Trying to establish and maintain healthy boundaries is something I’ve been focusing on since my divorce. How can I do that here? I have to sit next to this person at work and I am not comfortable in this relationship where it stands. I’m at a point where I feel an intense need to protect myself and my relationship — my partner is not going to be okay with this. Am I actually being a bad friend and not realizing it?

First of all I want to mention a trigger warning just in case. I know we all struggle at every weight. I’m not advocating for anything that has worked for me, simply wanting to share my (TLDR) experience and learn from others.
I have struggled with BED since childhood, and spent 35 yrs actively bulimic and anorexic. I was in ED therapy for 15 of those years, but the BED has remained the most pervasive and difficult to address. I have had rare periods of abstinence from bingeing but ultimately it has always come back. It’s the dreaded feeling of a switch in my brain / the train leaving the station / no turning back, even when I’m in tears trying to fight it. IYKYK.
Along with therapy, certain things have helped me a lot. (Note this is only my experience and certainly not advice to anyone who hasn’t had their own recovery journey).
-Yoga. Turns out I wasn’t truly breathing for years, which contributed to panic-y feelings and high stress that I coped with by bingeing. Relaxation felt foreign. I was used to living with surging cortisol to get through the day and then going numb with binges at night.
-Making sure I eat enough food during the day, and striving for getting protein at every meal, and enough vegetables and fruit. Drinking enough water is a constant struggle, but when I do, it helps too.
-Counting / recording calories. This is controversial in the ED recovery community and not helpful for everyone, for sure. For me it helps with awareness and mindfulness throughout the day and helps me not disassociate.
-Being intentional about when I chose to eat sugar, knowing that none can lead to a binge, but any is a bit risky for me personally.
-Acceptance of a normal feeling of fullness, so that that doesn’t trigger a binge.
-Not keeping triggering food in the house. I wish I was beyond having to do this, but for me it is still safer to not have it present. That said, I’ve driven through blizzards in the middle of the night (pre-delivery days) when the urge has been overwhelming, so just not having it in the house only does so much. Again IYKYK.
-Planning for eating out. Knowing that my calories for that day may be slightly higher but that does not need to trigger a binge.
-Vyvanse (50mg). This has been more helpful for me than other SSRIs, anti-anxiety or other med I have been prescribed, and I’ve been prescribed them all. The worst for me was Topamax. It works, for a very short time in my experience, but wreaked havoc on my memory and mental processing ability. The problem with Vyvanse for me is the drop off effect when it wears out for the day. I take it as late as possible, but struggle with any ability to sleep if I take it past noon. Naltrexone has been moderately helpful as an add on, but it’s super subtle in my experience, and too easy to override.
So finally, the last time, last summer and fall, that I started to really struggle with binge eating I decided to try compounded semaglutide. Each cycle of bingeing very rapidly leads to 40+ lb weight gain these days as I do my best not to purge. However, inevitably I start purging (“just this once”), and it just makes the cycle go on indefinitely.
Please note, I don’t know if these drugs should be used by those with a history of eating disorders or not (certainly it could be quite worrisome for active untreated anorexia, and I would never want my experience to substitute for medical advice) but for me I had to try something, because the risk to my health from the downward spiral back into bulimia was more concerning and I felt desperate.
Right away the food noise, for the first time in my life, was dampened. I could practice all of the strategies I listed above regularly. I started feeling healthier and stronger with better nutrition and sleep. The cost was challenging, but actually was offset entirely by the costs of bingeing. Sadly I think I’ve spent in excess of $100K during my lifetime on bingeing, which I have huge guilt around. And that doesn’t even begin to account for the costs of therapy and medication.
After titrating up on semaglutide I was noticing it wasn’t quite as effective, and I was having a few small binges, so I decided to switch to tirzepatide. Currently I am on 50 units (the second to lowest dose) of tirzepatide, which I inject every 8-9 days. I can tell when it is wearing off as the food noise starts to come back, but I’m also very much wanting to keep my dose as low as possible to make sure it does not stop being effective.
Now, six months into this GLP-1 journey I have lost the 40lbs I put on last year, and am not bingeing at all, which feels like nearly a miracle. I also do not want to lose any more weight. Well, tbh, there is still part of me drawn to losing more weight, but I know it would not be healthy physically or mentally, and could trigger bingeing again.
Finally (sorry for the lengthy post!) I am getting to my question. Have any of you with BED that are taking GLP-1s had success in maintenance over time? That is, have you been able to keep the food noice at bay and maintain a steady weight instead of continuing to lose or gain? If so, what have been your strategies and dosages?

Has anyone ever had one of these tests to confirm your concussion diagnosis? I was in a car accident, not at fault, and the guy's insurance company is trying to say that the accident wasn't bad enough to have caused injuries (I also have a bulging disc in my neck from this). I have been to multiple doctors who have confirmed the diagnosis, so it's on my medical records. I finally hired an attorney, and they want me to do an eyebox test, which measures your eye movements to determine if there's a brain injury. But it's been almost 3 months since the accident, and I've been working with a therapist to address my symptoms. My attorney said the test would still be accurate, but I don't know. It seems like if I have a written diagnosis, the insurance company shouldn't be able to argue with that. People have told me that lawyers will send you to get unnecessary testing/appointments because they can get more money, so I'm not sure if this is really needed. I'm also concerned that the test will show no problems since it's been so long, and then I would be really screwed. Any advice would be great. Thanks!!

This review is copied from my Google Maps review (if you want to see photos) of the Foothills Medical Centre L&D and Postpartum units on the 5th floor. Overall a pleasant experience in an older facility carried by awesome nurses who made us feel taken care of.
My wife was set to receive an induction. After her cervical ripening balloon fell out, we called L&D and they told us they were busy and that they'd likely call us the next morning unless we felt it was an emergency.
Parking is $15 a day which is okay considering it's a hospital.
Our private L&D room in Unit 51 was sizable and had a couch and private bathroom but no TV or mini fridge. The shared fridge was stocked with milk, juice, yogurt, jello, pudding, sandwiches, tea and coffee (decaf). 8 hours in, the doctor checked her cervix and discovered that our little one had his whole arm sticking out. Doctor said it would have to be a c-section.
Fast forward to the postpartum side and we received a "semi-private" room. We were essentially separated by a shared toilet/shower and a couple curtains, but at least we were not right beside each other. No complaints about our neighbours.
Our part of the room was small in comparison with the L&D room. There was definitely a lot of shuffling around with the bed table, chair, and obviously the baby. We did have our own sink and mini fridge. Again, no TV so consider bringing your own entertainment. The room was quite stuffy but there was a fan to alleviate that. The chair they provided me was essentially a deck chair and one armrest was literally worn out to the metal. I was happy that I brought a sleeping bag to set up on the floor and a blindfold. I also borrowed a couple blankets and a pillow from the unit. It was not exactly pleasant but could've been worse had I not been a back sleeper.
The shared fridge in postpartum was not quite as stocked as in L&D, although there was typically always drinks and sometimes extra trays of food leftover after breakfast/lunch/dinner. I ate whatever my wife couldn't finish. Luckily, I brought some snacks from home for sustinence and McDonald's is not a long drive away for late night food. Yes, outside food is allowed. I took a picture of an example lunch menu that my wife received.
Pretty much all the nurses and staff we interacted with were very helpful, patient, and caring. They were happy to show us how to breastfeed, swaddle a baby, change a diaper, burp the baby, etc. so don't feel bad asking. They gave us a bag of essentials for mom and baby such as underwear, pads, diapers, burp/face cloths, vaseline, etc. They may or may not give you a couple extra if you ask nicely. There was a breastfeeding pillow in the room as well as some basic instructions on how to breastfeed. My wife wasn't producing quite enough for our baby's appetite so we did purchase a bottle of donor breastmilk to supplement for $18 (free if you're still on the L&D side) which lasted us for the couple of nights we stayed.
Unless there's a new hospital built in North Calgary soon, we will likely be back here for our next baby.

We previously had this conversation multiple of times but this time was so serious. My friends (3 females) and their friends (3 males) booked a private pool for the weekend and my friend wanted me to go with them.
I was telling my bf about the plan and he mentioned that he's not comfortable and not okay with me being in a bikini around men. He says that he doesn't like other men ogling me and seeing me naked. Hello and greetings once again my fellow CUEnthusiasts!
I’m going to cap off this series with Part 2 of Building your Collection and working towards Completion. This time I’m going to go over some tips and strategies for cards you already have at your disposal in your collection. Again, much of what I cover will pertain to many types of collectors and their goals. I’ll elaborate and differentiate as needed.
Some of what I’ll cover in this post I may have gone over in greater detail in a previous post, so I won’t go much further into it so it’s not redundant. Previous Coaches Corners can be found in this sub, or my post history :)
The first thing I would like to go over, is what you’re working towards (your goals for your collection) and how to approach trading cards in your collection to help achieve these goals.
I would also like to take a second to add and emphasize that having access to or being on a platform like discord or here etc, will be integral for a good amount of what I cover today. It’s the most efficient way to leverage and get the most out of cards you already own for what you’re looking for.
Now there’s many different types of collectors in the game. I’m going to narrow this down and focus on a couple of key ones in regard to today’s topic. Again, some of what I’ll go over will be applicable to a wider range of collectors, so it may be worth a read regardless.
A completionist is someone who is typically trying to get at least 1 of every card. They tend not to trade their singles. I’m a completionist first and foremost so I lock(protect) every card I only have 1 of. To me, there would be nothing worse than trading a card I already had, and need to chase it again. Especially if the card is scarce. The main goal for a completionist should always be to fill holes in your collection, not create one to fill one, regardless of the offer.
Someone who’s just working on decks to play tend to trade singles and look mainly for cards to play. The benefit here is they have singles at their disposal to leverage for cards they’re after. Collecting cards they need is usually secondary, or not applicable at all except for ones they want to use/play.
Now, how do we use what we already have to get the cards we’re looking for outside of the obvious posting in game?
And this is where it’s paramount to leverage a platform. Because there’s certain traders/collectors that you’ll be looking to deal with, as it can be of great benefit to your end goal. And, as I’ve discussed before and this is where it’ll be most applicable. This is where you’ll work out a trade before a card is ever sent. It’s the most streamlined way to trade if you know values and how to navigate trades. (Hopefully my past posts will have helped a bit with this).
What you stand to gain out of being on a platform is the ability to see clearly, offers and what people are wanting and have to offer. Watch for offers and collectors/traders that can help you work towards your goals while trading with them for mutually beneficial trades. And I’ll detail a couple to keep an eye out for.
The Heavy Traders and Veterans: These folks spend a lot of time moving cards and trading. They tend to have larger, and most of the time, complete collections and many duplicates. They’re usually very easy to deal with if you have some knowledge of card values(because trust me, they do). They also post offers on their platform of choice detailing exactly what they offer and what they’re wanting. Pretty straight forward if you’re looking to do a trade that aligns with them too. I will add, some also will pull extras of new cards or packs in general to add to their catalogue of tradable cards, so again, it’s good to check in from time to time. Again, they are usually very easy to deal with as long as values are spot on, especially when taking them up on an offer or making one yourself. And once more, to drive it home lol. It’s very important to learn the value system as best as you can on your platform of choice.
One Card Collectors/Hoarders:
Quick Disclaimer: I’m doing my best to write this without bias as I am a one card collector. However I was, and still am, a completionist first. Even before I started hoarding on this app. And the reality is, these folks are some of the easiest people to deal with on any card app. Most of my dealings, as I’ve mentioned before, have been with them, just because of the ease in obtaining cards you want if they have.
It’s worth while to find out exactly what they offer and trade them the cards they collect, because they will typically trade exactly what they say they will, and it makes obtaining cards you need very easy. The catch is, and this isn’t always the case as I’ve mentioned before when I went into detail about one card collectors/hoarders, you’re going to want to trade them the cards they collect for best results. Same as heavy traders, but these folks usually make solid offers for their cards, and when you’re sticking to what they offer in their post, it’s most likely to result in an accepted trade.
Some will even pull so they can trade for their cards too. I, and many others who have experience with hoarders, spent time tracking down their cards to fill our own card needs and wants. They also tend to pay well for quantities of their cards for a quality card, and this is the only time I feel quantity for quality applies lol. This is a good opportunity to use low value dupes that may not move to get good cards you need.
Typically they don’t trade singles, but there are some who do, as they only play to collect numbers of their cards, but what cards they do offer for their collect cards are usually some of the easiest to obtain.
There many types of players of all levels on a platform, and trades are relatively easy to work out. Other than the couple of collectors I’ve mentioned to keep an eye out for, here’s some other benefits and things to watch out for on the platform of your choice that you can leverage to work towards your goals.
There will always be players trading dupes for needs, working together towards their collection goals. These are usually straight forward, especially if values are known by both players or a value system is leveraged to balance values. Typically the cards traded are what I call filler cards, ones that don’t have demand or playability but are wanted just to round out your collection. It’s usually straight forward 1:1 card for card, matching both rarity and type. Pretty basic stuff but on a platform, can be highly efficient filling out your collection as you can typically put through multi card trades.
Many players chasing completion or filling needs tend to want to knock off the high value ones asap, because this is also a tcg, and they may want to use them to play right away. When they have most or all the higher value stuff and they end up with dupes of them, they’ll sometimes post to break down a value card for quantity of equal value cards they need. This can be paramount to how you get good/value cards for a very reasonable price. Again watch for it to be offered and don’t just send lol.
While a bit less prevalent on this app, there are a few people who run some kind of swap shop(all they do is trade cards, usually of same rarity and type for the same in return). They usually have their own system in place and some don’t use any values for cards other than rarity and type and I’ll provide a couple of examples I’ve seen and done myself (I formally ran swap shops on most card apps I’ve been on). Some will and do trade singles, again, it helps to read and understand their post prior to sending a trade. Adhering to what they post can make obtaining cards from them extremely easy.
Some may offer to give 1 of any card for 2 cards of the same rarity/type as the one you took in return. Some will trade a card of same rarity/type they have over a set amount of dupes of for ones they need or have under a set number of dupes of a card. There’s a few different ones and they’re typically good to leverage for a hassle free trade as they tend to adhere to what they post.
The importance of a platform, even though the player base on them is small compared to the overall population on the app, is the fact that most veteran players and heavy traders/collectors tend to be on them. The ability to work out trades and obtain the cards you want is far more effective than just posting in game. And again, the capability to work out a trade without ever sending a card first is amazing. And the ability to do so with cards you already own is the most economical way to build and/or fill out your collection.
I’m going to wrap up with a few tips for those focused on completing their collection.
I want to stress this point again, as I feel it’s important for a completionist. I did this on any app I tried to complete. Do not trade your singles. While offers may seem, and can be very generous, unless you know you can replace a single with ease, the risk of it being very tough to find again, I’ve found, isn’t worth it. I’ve experienced myself and seen many times a single was traded and the regret afterwards in doing so, not to mention the time investment that may be needed to get it back. And logically speaking, you’ve already found the card once and have it, why would you want to chase it again just to not chase a card being offered? It’s not really progressing towards your goal of completion, it’s just keeping your cards collected at the same number when your goal is to increase that number until you have everything.
What to target to complete first?
This is completely up to you. What I will offer is some brief insight into each limited rarity, mythics and all basics/fusions, I’ll work my way from lowest rarity to highest.
Fusion/Basics: These are so abundant, have no value and are always available. Dupes for needs, rarity for rarity, type for type these are some of the most basic and straight forward trades possible as basics/fusions have no value. The only exception is maybe a new one, but even then, its value is just because it’s new and typically won’t fetch anything of value.
One point I’d like to make and it’s most people’s preference, trade type for same type, so fusion for other fusion, basic for other basic. It’s only because fusion will be used to obviously make a red or ultra fusion. Again it’s more preference. Also consider, as new red fusions are released, some basics become fusion cards to make a new red. So no real damage can be done if you don’t care too much.
In my opinion, basics and fusions (legendary rarity and below) shouldn’t be a focus. Not many are playable, you’ll always get them from almost every pack, and they’re very easy to obtain and complete. I’d say if you’re down to a few left you may as well wrap it up, but you’ll naturally fill out most of them as time goes.
From time to time it can be normal for someone to offer a limited you need for basic/fusion cards. This is ok. I would caution not to send basics/fusion to someone for a limited card unless it was discussed pre trade. There’s an in game decline response that relates to this for a reason xD
Limited Common and Rare- I lumped these 2 together because they’re both relatively similar at least from a completion standpoint. As I’ve said before, these 2 rarities are relatively easy to complete, there’s maybe a handful of meta/playable cards amongst them but they don’t hold a high value. These are usually good to start the journey with as completing them allows the opportunity to use dupes of these rarities to trade to keep them complete and/or to roll up for higher rarity needs sometimes.
Limited Epic and Legendary: These are 2 of the hardest to complete. The reason again being, the majority of value/meta/playable/scarce cards are of these rarities. These would be my last focus simply because with time your collection will grow and that will help to make completing them easier.
My advice when trading your dupes of high value is to get a like value card you need for it. Breaking them down and diluting their value into lesser value needs can actually make the higher needs harder to get if most of your dupes are lower in value. Nothing wrong with it, but just my take. I mention this because as you near completion, you don’t want to be stuck only needing high value cards and having mainly low value dupes for trade for them. It’ll take a while to find someone wanting a breakdown, especially if what you need is scarce. This just helps ensure you have and get value cards knocked off your need list as you go. And always keep an eye out for someone wanting to break down a high value card too. The more value dupes you can retain for high value cards you need is in your best interest to complete efficiently.
Mythics- Again a harder one to complete but not usually as hard as epic and legendary. The majority of Mythics have been around for a long while, mainly the newer ones are harder to get. Now the reason I consider these a bit easier than epic/legendary is because mythics are always being traded. And lots of people on platforms are wanting to break down higher value ones into multiple lower value ones.
Mythics are obtained with time just pulling so I wouldn’t focus too much on them early, as you close out low rarity needs and start getting dupe mythics or rolling up limited cards into Mythics, they’re relatively easy to transact with and fill out. Newer ones are the slight exception as they may be scarce, but again, with time will be more available and as well tend to get cheaper.
Again, preference plays a part and many people just trade Mythics for other Mythics, and I’d urge you to do the same with your mythic dupes until they’re complete or just missing a couple of new ones. Once they’re done or close to it, you can use your dupe mythics to pick off the higher value limited cards you need.
One last completionist note I’d like to make as it relates to mythics.
Mythics cannot be target pulled, meaning, unlike new limiteds/basics, mythics are random and don’t have a fixed pull rate. When you do get one, it’s could be any 1 that’s currently available. They are the main chase when people are trying to stay complete for this reason.
Typically, as I mentioned in another post, it’s not uncommon to see an Anubis, or multiple high value stable Mythics be traded for a new mythic in the early days after its release. If you’re wanting to be complete again asap, you’re going want to manage your Mythic dupes in preparation for a new one. You’ll want to look into rolling up lesser value Mythic dupes into a high value stable one a few times if not more, just so you have a competitive offer early on. If it’s no big deal and you can wait, over time, more copies of a new mythic become available and the price tends to drop until it’s stable.
This, I hope, in combination with what I went over in Part 1, will help you expedite getting the cards you’re wanting/looking for and hit your goals!

PLEASE read the full post. When posts praising Farnese are allowed, posts who differ should also be allowed! I know different opinions get bashed instantly on Reddit, but I beg you please read it completely.
I searched the Internet and found too few posts talking about this, so I made this. In hopes it may withstand the test of time and gets passed on to future generations.
Here is the lady Farnese Character development we got:
STAGE 1: Lady Farnese pre Religion (child hood/ early teenage years): - torturing animals - setting kids on fire - Throwing torches at people - Yes she did it so she could be part of something, but that something is too cruel for there not to be some genetic inclination to doing such thing - just a very cruel person, without any remorse - feared by others
REASON: 1. She was definitely born evil/with a fable for doing these things. 1.1 She had to have some kind of evil inclination that just got amplified by her circumstances. 2. Her parents didn't show her affection 3. She had too much power, no body dared to tell her no 4. She used to watch people get burned alive all the time. She got used to it. She got jaded.
STAGE 2: Lady Farnese during religion (teenage years -> meeting guts) - burning people alive - making Serpico burn his own mother
REASON: 1. She used religion as a tool to keep being evil (She even admitted it's after she whipped Guts). 2. Religion justified the evil actions she likes to perform. 3. Religion gave her a sense of purpose (I assume)
STAGE 3: Lady Farnese meets Guts and sees the demons - Her faith in religion starts to crumble - She is confused about what to believe - Still masturbating about the thought of burning people - this arousal may stem from the thought of beeing part of something bigger and not the burning people themselves (nevertheless it's stil morbid and evil) - She starts to question if killing people for the sake of a religion, which seems to be fake, is just
REASON: 1. Guts the evil man they have been following for 2 years saved her multiple times. 2. She sees the terrible condition of the common folk. Despite being on holy Ground. 3. Mozgus is even crazier and more cruel than her (When he saved the womans baby but send her to the torture chamber) 4. She sees that Mozgus is also some inhumane being. And guts (a mere man) is able to beat the holyness out of him. 5. She survived the festival (end of conviction arc) not by praying but by holding that torch.
STAGE 4 (aka180 turn): She stops beeing religious. She starts to behave like a sane person and has empathy. She is the caretaker of Casca (emphasizing her new found empathy)
AT STAGE 4 IS WHERE SHE STOPS TO MAKE SENSE. PLEASE HERE ME OUT: Q: Where does this empathy come from? A: I don't know. She has no track record of ever beeing a good person.
Q: Who could have maybe inspired her to start beeing a caring person? A: Guts I guess? The amount of empathy that he actively emits is on par with Luca (That is a joke)
Q: How should she have been after conviction arc?
A:How she should have been after conviction: She should have returned back to STAGE 1 of her character development. She never had any empathy EVER. She had no person to learn it from.
She should have returned to STAGE 1 BUT because her religion just crumbled, her STAGE 1 is also crumbling / easier to break and rebuild. She should have found a person who helps her destroy STAGE 1 and then lead her on a new path of empathy.
But she needs a person to teach her the way! A person who has been evil all their life can't do it by themselves in an instant!
Q: So how do you think her character would make sense? A: Let me show you how it would make sense:
STAGE 1: Farnese is a friendly/innocent child. But she is lonely and has no friends/no place in this world/no purpose. She maybe tries to throw a torch at the stake, but regrets it (eventhough she felt somekind of purpose doing that).
STAGE 2: She finds Religion and it gives her purpose, but at the cost of hurting other people. She forgets her STAGE 1 and believes STAGE 2 is her true self.
STAGE 3 (is basically the same as in the manga): She meets Guts and the demons. And her faith starts to crumble.
STAGE 4: She loses her faith and remembers that she is not inherently evil. She remembers her true self: her STAGE 1. She starts to become empathetic and starts to take care of Casca.
That's how it would make sense!
If you think my theory doesn't make sense you need to do some research on psychology. Whenever you hear stories of people who joined nazi groups or cults but decided to leave after a few years they went through these stages (So what I am saying definitely makes sense).

Hey all,
My wife interviewed Monday for an ESL job and they said they would call her Friday and let her know what they decided. She received a call Thursday and they want her to “tour the school and meet some teachers”
They didn’t say if she got the position and wants to know if she should have any type of question prepared when she does the tour?

I'm a data engineer with about 2.5 years of experience, and I've mostly only worked with small/startup companies. Any time I've searched for a job with a larger company (e.g. Microsoft), either by applying directly or reaching out to recruiters/hiring managers, it's almost like I don't even exist, and end up never getting ANY responses. However I'm confident that if I can actually get an interview I would be a good candidate.
So my question is, how do you get opportunities with larger companies like this? Do I just need to keep applying and wait for the right opportunity, or wait for a company that will actually look at my resume? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! This one is for musicians (especially great if they are keys players), engineers, producers, I had a question for you, (honestly anybody who has watched it live 2 times and can share their insight!)
Do they arrange, and decide exactly what parts each musician is going to be playing, whether it be during the song, or when transitioning between songs?
As a keys-player, I've played gigs, where we've gotten a rough idea of each of our parts, ranges, etc. between the harmony instruments and the rhythm section, (generally more Jazz leaning ones, but sometimes Pop too) and gigs where I have multiple patches, and parts (Pop and rock ones especially, everything live though), where I've planned out every single patch, and part, and where I'll be playing it on my instrument, and how to switch between all the sounds.
In the scenario that we get longer rehearsal time for these Pop and Rock gigs too (2-weeks),my parts remain pretty much the same, apart from the lines, inversions sometimes, or inner voice movements etc.
For Taylor's shows, do you think the musicians play the EXACT SAME thing everyday, or do they move it around sometimes? I'm assuming someone helped arrange the material for her shows, if anybody knows who they are?
Also, anybody here, who can share their experience playing these sort of gigs, and how the approach to prepping for them, and the rehearsals have been like, please do!

Had my second lap 2ish months ago. My surgeon gave me photos and a packet of everything he did. I’m blessed for that. As the title suggests, I was unable to finish my marathon today. Conditions weren't in my favor with over 75% humidity, nearly 80 degrees of heat, and hills that seemed to sap my strength with every step. I did everything I could to keep myself in the race, but unfortunately, I had to be carted off the course to the medical tent as I got dehydrated at the halfway point. My question is, what can I do to come back from this? I don't want to stop running marathons. All I can think about is adapting to what I experienced but I want to know if there is any other pearls of wisdom this subreddit can give me so I can bounce back and hopefully qualify for Boston at some point

I work for a medical company that is planning a joint venture with a newly created company in China. Rumors are that the Chinese company will own a controlling interest (51%) of the US company (my employer).

okay so i have been living with my mother my whole life, a few years ago my parents got divorded and my dad moved in with his mum but has not got a house, he didnt ask if if we wanted to live with him because he couldnt afford it and stuff, anyway, hes soon getting a sofabed so he said i could sleep at his some days but i dont know how i would ask him if i clould live with him.
my mother is a narrcisist and i dont remember a day she hasnt actually yelled at my unless she was out somewhere, she threatens me and has thrown things like knifes, full heavy pencil cases, plugs and so on, i also have been dignosed with heavily function autism which jve known ive had my whole like, i also have severe anxiety, tics and severe panic disorder and she has herself fully convinced i fake this just to get out of doing things or to earn her love.
i hate living with her and plan to move in with my boyfriend who lives about 6 hours away when i am able, but seeing as we are both minors without jobs we are unable.
only him, and around 2 of my friends understand how serious it is, my other friends dont know how bad it is or just dont know in general, im planning on trying to make money to buy things like cables for my computer, phone and camera, and food and water if i do move in with my dad as he had to try finnish his house, pay for gas, bills ect.
my mum has threatened to kick me out multiple times, she has once threatened to refuse to buy me nessesitys such as food, water, clothes and hygine products, and seeing as i currently have nowhere else to go, i can only be her little puppet and do as she says.
while im talking about her abuse, she has made sexual advantages by touching me in places i wish she never even though about, she has also asked me extreamly innapropriet questions. i am also a transgender boy so she trys to make sure i dont wear the binder i have as much as possible because she has an intrest in my chest apperently.
she makes me extremly uncomfortable, i never talk to her unless i have to, i never leave my room unless i feel i should leave for a few hours, and i try avoid her as much as possible, i cannot do anything about her abuse, i cannot tell my dad about it and my sister does not belive me as my mother prefers my sister over me.
i need to wait untill i am able to move into my dads house when he has a place for me to sleep as thats the most important thing, i have already a list of things i need to bring as i cant take much, how should i ask him if i can move in?
