I know this is a long shot but I have recently came back from a long hiatus on Wattpad and I was looking through my books in writing and I thought I would see if any of you guys could read it and leave a comment on there or send some feedback (nothing nasty) about what you think of it so far and what I should do to improve it. Please note that there is only 3 chapters published but the was 2 parts in between as author updates(if that makes sense??)
Please understand that I wrote this during covid lock down and then it was abandoned for a time due to other ideas coming forward. But I hope someone likes it and thank you for your time!

Until about 1 year ago I had a really really nice SR for almost 2 years. It was really respectful and I felt valued and so did he. (He moved to a country where I don't want to move to, we're in contact, everything is fine).
I started to find a new SD about 4 or 5 months ago. I used to take A LOT of time when I messaged with a new POT, because that's how I found my previous one and it ended well. Under the assumption that we will like each other at a M&G I used to take a lot of time messaging, show integrity, tell the POT how often I would like to meet, let him feel I enjoy giving sugar by telling examples, show that I enjoy thinking about things he could like or presents I could make him, think about dates I could arrange for us (...) and so on. I used to answer all questions they have regarding sexual preferences as well. I used to believe that at some point he will tell how much he likes giving as well. At the start I even did 3 M&Gs without even mentioning any sugar for me beforehand (neither while we messaged/called nor at the M&G), while we ofc talked a lot about theirs.
But I got really frustrated in the past months, because no matter how long we kept messaging, I was always the one who at some point had to ask about my sugar. Even though I would find it refreshing if he showed some initiative in this regard for once, if it was only that, that would be okay! But additionally almost always I got very vague answers like "That depends..." or "You will be surprised." or "That makes it too transactional.." or "that depends on how high I rate your level of being interesting for me irl"(...) And if it wasn't a vague answer (which was rly rarely the case) it was disappointing low and I felt not appreciated at all (low XXXX for 2-3 meets per month or low XXX for ppm).
I spend hours and sometimes even days (in total). So I couldn't anymore and the past 2 weeks I tried to change that. After messaging a bit back and forth about how we got to the lifestyle and/or if we had a SR before and smalltalk, they usually ask what my "idea" is. So I tell my POT that (in case we click on our M&G) for a start I would enjoy 2-3 dates per month and that the length can vary and be discussed her or on our M&G. And then ALL of them were +/- "oh that's suits me well, I have time this/next week, let's meet for a coffee!". 🥴 And my mind by now is like "noooo, I don't want the same scenarios anymore", so I cautiously responded "I would feel more comfortable, if we could also talk about my sugar beforehand."
And then it's basically over. It goes from vague stuff again like "that depends on if you look so sexy in RL like on your pic so we have to M&G first" or "That should happen in the background" or even "you're only here for cash bye". I don't feel I can really achieve anything there anymore.
What can I do to not waste my time on even more M&Gs or hours of phone calls or messages? Is it a matter of timing? Is there this super secret sweet spot where I am allowed to ask for my part?
I am scared that this dating is so emotional draining for me that if I find a nice SD again, no energy is left for him anymore 😥😥😥 And that makes me sad, cause it can be so nice. 😔

Forgive me for any ignorance on this subject (which is part of why I'm asking the question :)), but since purchasing an Odin 2 several months ago, I've noticed it being hampered from being my ultimate emulation device by the reduced amount of emulators available for Android, for example the original Xbox, X360 and PS3.
So I was wondering if any of you fine people know of any ongoing projects or predictions for upcoming Android emulators please?
I'm aware of Winlator also for PC/DOS games, but is there anything better or well known for PC?

Alright, so we will start from the top.
When first dating my husband there were comments from his family herd secondhand from others that knew his family.
Comments like, "You know she's dated A LOT of guys before you."- my father in law. And "You guys should just try long distance"- Sister in law. There was the incident where his Mom came to my husband crying and begging for his sister's to be in the wedding as my brides maids even though I didn't know them very well and his one sister thinking we were moving too fast.
There's the awkward me having to tell my father in law my weight in front of multiple family members on a family reunion trip. Making me feel really uncomfortable because I had gained weight and I knew it..
The overall feeling invisible and out of place in the room at most reunions. Not really having the same option or challenging beliefs of others. Most of the time I want to have deep conversations and not just surface level conversations. That and his family is really into sports, which good for them, but I am definitely more of a lets garden and read a good book kinda gal.
Basically, I am the married in black sheep and to be honest that's okay with me. What's not okay is this tale I am about to tell. Sit down and get comfortable.
At the recent family reunion it seemed to start off awful my kids get MAJOR carsick (I have 4) and my daughter throws up on the way to said event. Leaving us to realize we left our bathroom bag at home. Which no big deal, till I have no glasses with me and if your blind like me you know when contacts come out and no glasses are on might as well be completely blind.
We make it to said reunion and we are paired with another family with young kids my husband is 1 of 6. All the young children are supposed to share a room next to ours upstairs. I told my husband I was nervous about this and he tells me his usual, "It'll be fine"
Naturally it wasn't. We kept our youngest in with us who kept me up all night since I was brest feeding and my husband's nipples are useless. So when I say I was up all night, it was literally just me up all night. Not to mention my kids aren't the kind that sleep anywhere and they have internal alarm clocks of 630-7am there's no sleeping in for them unless they are ill. It was frustrating because I would go to put my kids to sleep and 30 minutes later their kids would come in and be super loud and wake my kids up. I'm sleep deprived they are sleep deprived and not to mention I probably live in burn out 90% of the time due to not having any community or family support.
On day 3 of trip I am then tasked with watching additional children without my consent. Like one parent was out exercising another left to go with pretty much everyone else to play basketball. My MIL was at breakfast with some of her friends. So, it's me and 6 kids at a random air bnb somewhere cold and I am exhausted. (Don't worry, I had that beef out with my husband later)
Did I mention that some of the family came with covid?
The next day the whole family was supposed to go on a hike but it would have been an hour and a half drive to the hike and an hour and a half back. We were to leave the day after and our drive to the reunion was the longest. So, we told them no not happening my MIL wasn't happy.
That night my youngest was having a hard time sleeping and started to develop a cough I thought greeeeeat is this covid? I LOUDLY announce my kids are going to sleep before heading over to our house that we are sharing. As my husband and I are trying to get our kids to sleep. My SIL decided it was the perfect time and place to bathe her kids loudly in the bathroom that is IN the kids room. Despite there being 2 additional bathrooms. My husband popped his head in and asked them to be quiet that their cousins were trying to go to bed. Ignored by the SIL.
When all kids were finally asleep I went down to grab some medicine. For my youngest and my MIL asks for probably the 3rd time if we could change our mind about going on the hike. I said no not happening. She asked if there was anything else wrong. To which I looked at my sister in law and said "Hey could you use a different bathroom next time? Or tell us when you're putting your kids to bed tomorrow night. It was kindof inconsiderate when I was putting my kids down to wake them up and be that loud.." her response, "I didn't know" I said "okay, tomorrow night can you use a different bathroom?" She said okay and halfway up the stairs I hear it..
"I have been so freaking nice to her can you believe that?!.. " and goes on to trash talk me more with her husband and my 2 in laws. I walked back down and said if you have something to say then say it to my face.
To which my MIL gets involved and said, "You should have said something in the moment." And told her that she was being too loud (not knowing at this point my husband DID). You should have told her to move. To which she chimes in and says, "It's their bathroom too!" To which I then say "There are 3 bathrooms in this house I am exhausted, my kids are exhausted, and now I am being told I am wrong for asking you to use a different bathroom?" My MIL dismissed me and told me to go to bed.
I was livid. I was dismissed and treated like a child. My in laws let her talk shit about me and didn't even defend me and apparently people are doing me a favor by being nice to me? I was DONE.
I told my husband what happened and that I wanted to leave that I was over this and treated with disrespect. He said that's fine I get it. I packed up and we were going to leave. My MIL saw this the next morning and cried told me I was being selfish gaslit me and told me I attacked my SIL that didn't I see her crying? I was like nope because when my contacts are out I can't see.
My husband let her and my father in law rip into me. (He said he didn't want to be involved big betrayal to me that we have had to work through) I tried to talk to my SIL and apologize if it came off as me :attacking her" as my MIL put it. And she walked away from me and wouldn't even let me talk to her. It was awful. If you, "Love" someone and want them to feel like family idk about you, but this ain't the family for me.
I have since distanced myself there was back in forward emails with my MIL about what I "should" have done. Lots of I'm sorry, but's.. and I wasn't about to deal. I told her we can disagree and give our relationship space. She tried sending a letter asking to start over, but never truly apologizing. My SIL too. Nothing.
I can take a lot of crap in my life truly. And I have. But this. This was just too much. I decided boundaries are the best way to go. I'd be cordial, but I am NEVER going to a family reunion again. And to be honest, I don't want to have a relationship with any of them because to me it's toxic and manipulative. I apologized for using a tone, but I never yelled as my MIL claimed. And as far as asking someone to be more mindful of my kids I am not going to say that I am sorry for it.
Months later after me no contact with my MIL she calls me to, "hash it out". She starts off with that "she's sorry, but that there seems to be something else going on with me.. I have been a part of the family for so long to act out with such "anger" (because she's still claiming that I was or am angry) I have to have something else wrong." I told her there have been instances over the years and interactions with family members that don't make me feel like I belong. I was candid and volunerable with her. Wrong. Move.
"Wow it sounds like you have a lot of insecurities that you may need to work through have you thought about seeing a therapist for your mental health?" -MIL
I am ALL about mental health, therapy is for EVERYONE. But WTF. I set a boundary she doesn't like it now I need therapy, because I don't want to play nice and be manipulated? Then halfway through the conversation of me defending myself and reliving the trauma I already experienced she says, "well, maybe I have nothing to be sorry for.." there it is folks. Can we say narcissist?

Scheduled Events & Activity Requirements

We offer frequent training/practice sessions to help keep activity while not requiring multi-hour long game sessions to be marked as an active member. For standard members, we only require 2 activity sessions per quarter.

I'm always curious about this one. The show has sort of become my "Happy Place" at MK and I see it as many times as possible each day I'm there (getting in for the early ones because there's always some sort of calamity cancelling later ones). But I'm curious as to how some of the stuff works behind the scenes (the planning, not the literal mechanics). This is a bit long because I'm neurotic about it, but please indulge me, lol:
Some Questions: 1) How many people do they have "in reserve" to cover for others? I definitely notice people swap out during the day- sometimes you'll even see a different person playing certain "Speaking" roles. But the dancers ESPECIALLY swap out often, and some you see nearly every day while others only do one show. I have to imagine if nobody can do a Face/Head role they just cancel the whole thing ("Unforeseen circumstances").
2) How many people can do each role? I know I've seen 3-4 "friends of Elsa" just across one week, 3 Vladamirs, etc. One time I was there I met the family of Elsa, who said she had to take a second job just to do this (working as the queen at Medieval Times), and she only worked the one Saturday across the entire week. I assume there's regulars who hold onto those spots like nuts (I saw one Elsa there most of one week- the same Anna did 4/6 days I was there this last trip).
3) Why do the "Male Dancing Role" jobs swap out so much? I swear every show I saw one day, a different guy was doing the tapdancing part of Tiana's bit, and a different guy was doing the "Backflips" in the Rapunzel bit. Is it the heat?
4) Who determines the choreography and do different performers do different things? I noticed in 2022 the final dance number ALWAYS had Vladamir & Hook-Hand compete over who got to dance with Elsa, who was like "oh sorry I promised Olaf" and danced with him first (before swapping to one of the male backgrounders). In 2024 I only saw this done once, and every other time they just kinda did their own thing and ignored Elsa entirely.
Similarly, Anna sometimes sticks her tongue out to catch the "snow" and sometimes she doesn't, and the backflips the guy does in the "Rapunzel" bit are often very different (probably based off of how he feels in the moment). Naveen's "and JAZZ!" gesture is sometimes big and dramatic and sometimes a simple point.
5) Why do the dancers alternate "spots" so frequently? I noticed that oftentimes a dancer will be the first one to greet Mickey at the opening for a couple shows, then switch to a different spot on a later show (you'll see them on a parapet one show, then at the front of the stage the next). It seems clear there's no "set spot" for a particular dancer and they just kinda do everything.
6) Do the male background dancers also do the "Pub Thug" roles? I often don't check closely enough to see through their costumes, but I definitely notice the VERY tall male dancers do not take other roles during the show, as the Pub Thugs are nearly always smaller than Hook Hand & Vladamir are (Vladamir is always a big, burly dude).
7) Have the performers been instructed not to "wave" as much to the audience? I recall in 2022 they were almost CONSTANTLY waving to the kids and adults who waved at them at nearly every break in the pre-set choreography, but in 2024 this was far diminished. They still DID IT, but not as much. That show I watched with Elsa's parents had the most prominent example, as she was doing the "heart with her hands" thing at them and then to me once the parents told her how much of an Elsa fan I was, lol.
8) Is it me, or is Olaf now getting by far the biggest crowd reaction? It used to be Anna & Elsa sending the crowd into a frenzy, but now it's Olaf getting the big one. Elsa SOMETIMES gets a really big one, but 10-11 years later, it seems like "Let It Go" is finally not drawing the freak-outs it once did, lol.
In my time, I've noticed: * The early-morning crew coming out 15-20 minutes to show opening, testing the "Elsa Effects" (shooting "steam" and snoap)- it's always two guys observing this, and then one dancer comes out to check the stage (sometimes even picking up debris). According to CMs at the castle, the dancer represents "Equity", the dancer's union, and can and will cancel the show (she once went out and went "NOPE" when she saw the rain hitting the stage). It was the same woman nearly every day between May 5-17, but one day a different one was out.
* If anything goes wrong, they'll just bolt backstage. One time Hook Hand started talking and nothing came out over the PA- he shrugged, did a little "leap and click his heels together" and everyone ran backstage- after a short delay the "Frozen" bit happened and they ran the show as normal. Once they bolted as soon as the rain started- I was told that Mickey in particular has such an expensive costume they will NOT allow that to get wet.
* At least one show per day nearly ALWAYS gets cancelled- usually it's the rain, but sometimes they just say "Unforeseen Circumstances".
* The fireworks are primed before the shows regardless unless it's actively raining- this is why they seem to "celebrate" the cancellation of the show by firing a ton of fireworks after they announce it's been cancelled.

I just graduated college a month or so ago.

I applied to a school district to be a IT Support Technician, I will be given 2 schools to answer tickets for. The job was listed with a $20,000 range for salary (???) but I assumed that "this is the norm so its fine, annoying but ok".

The day after the interview they ask if I am interested to be part of the team and I accept, asking when HR will send a formal salary/benefit offer. The hiring lady said it should be in a few weeks when they send all the onboarding information (this was 2 weeks ago).

Orientation is this week and training is scheduled starting the day after for about a week and a half, and then they will leave me out on my own, issue is, still no salary offer???
I have interfaced back and forth with HR and the hiring lady, HR says they need to reach out to the previous employers I worked for to draft the offer as they evaluate my experience, but they are not budging on the start date regardless of my direct request of being able to look at the formal offer with a few days to review beforehand.

Is this normal?? I am planning on telling the Hiring Admin that I will not be attending the orientation or the training until I know what my salary/benefits will be, is this unreasonable?

Let’s get it out of the way: Crystal is boring and yes she was opportunistic. But she has a point about how Holly has openly disliked her for years, and that their experiences are very similar.
Holly’s always been a ‘sniper from the side’. She throws rocks and then hides her hands. She did it with Kendra, and gets away with it because Kendra overreacted with the explicit tweets. But her shade is subtle and steady with just enough plausible deniability to feign innocence.
An example of that is here, where Holly calls Crystal and the twins ‘the skanks next door’ and then says ‘I didn’t say that, people who commented on my Myspace said that’
When she returned to the mansion to see Hef she said to Crystal “You take care of him or I’ll be on you!” here
In her conversation with Kendra and Mary for the ‘Hef’s Runaway Bride’ special here she’s shady, again making the Hef ‘dodged a bullet’ comment and sarcastically saying she left ‘at the right time for her single’.
This one struck me because she continues to dismiss Crystal even after Mary tells her that Crystal called her at the Jazz Festival in tears saying she ‘couldn’t do this and needed a shrink’ —which Holly wrote about a nearly identical situation going on antidepressants and wanting to talk to a therapist and Hef just saying to talk to Mary.

That wasn’t all the Queen of Vegas had to say about Hef’s cold-footed fiance! In addition to dissing Crystal for promoting herself on the day she was supposed to say “I do” to the man who made her famous, Holly also tweeted Crystal’s decision may have been a blessing in disguise.
“Where does one find the “Dodged a Bullet” mylar balloons?” tweeted Holly a few days after the wedding was called off.
But to prove her off-handed remarks were really attacks on Crystal, Holly took her tweets one step further and declared a “war of words” with her fellow platinum playmate! When Crystal tweeted, “Hard times show your real friends…” Holly boldly shot back with, “No, they show HEF’s real friends…”
She jumped in to comment on Crystal taking her dog with her that was attached to Hef (even though she re-homed her own dogs she got with Hef to her parents and immediately got 3 new ones)
"Why did you voluntarily give the dog to Hef (who loves him too) after you left, only to ask for him back a few months later?" Madison, who stars in Holly's World and also appeared on the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars, wrote on her Twitter account Monday.

Took a shot at Crystal with her usual passive-aggressive style when asked about naming her daughter Rainbow:
“It's definitely a unique name. I like unique names and I wouldn't have picked it if were common. But, growing up, there was a girl in my class named Rainbow. I grew up in Oregon, where a lot of hippies went to start families. There was a girl at school named Rainbow, and I was so jealous and I wanted it to be my name."

It’s probably also not a coincidence that the other 2 ‘stripper names’ she chose were the names of Kendra’s 2 close friends at the time when they had their own falling-out.
And finally, a couple of Crystal comments in her book:
I have to say, I was a little curious about this Crystal character. Though I kept far away from Hef and Crystal (in part to avoid replicating how Tina had made me feel after her departure), it still seemed like Crystal had major jealousy issues. A few weeks earlier, I had run into a Los Angeles magazine editor I knew socially who told me a story about Hef begging him to retract a statement he had made about my being welcome back in his life anytime.
The editor threw up his hands and said he told Hef he couldn't retract it, that he had him on tape saying it and that he heard his new girlfriend threw a fit about it when it came out. When it came to being dramatic, it appeared Hef had met his match.
Crystal acquired the seemingly requisite boob and nose job shortly after moving into the mansion, and after her plastic makeover, Hef handed her a December 2010 centerfold.
Crystal just didn't come off as comfortable or clever enough to think up even a lame zinger like that. In fact, most of her dialogue on the show was painfully awkward at best.
"Ugh," I groaned. I had heard through the grapevine that Crystal was still moping around the mansion because she had "her show taken away" and was upset that I was the one still on television. Any suggestion of my presence anywhere near Playboy sent Crystal into a frenzy.
What happened to the laid-back Crystal I had seen the last time I visited the mansion? "Are you serious? We didn't get into a fight," I snapped, exasperated by her immaturity. "Someone on Twitter pointed out that she copied my underwater photo shoot, and later I made a generic post about hating copycats. That's it. I didn't even mention her name or reply to the person who pointed it out! "I'm sorry that she has a guilty conscience," I huffed, rolling my eyes. Over the past few years, I definitely began to feel that for whatever reason Crystal was trying to Single White Female me. "And I'm sorry that she can't deal with people's comments on the Internet."

Problem:

1. Go to Youtube channel
2. Go to Search for videos within that channel
3. It says that the videos were uploaded "___ years ago"
4. Question: But when, during that year?

If videos are done as a series, and the creator did not organize them into a playlist, or clearly label them as "Part 1 of X" etc. it becomes a nightmare to find the sequence. Showing the exact upload date, and/or a "Sort by Upload Date" option would be amazing.

My husband and I have been married 7 years and I love him so much! We are Mormons and typically we get married early, I was a 20 year old psychology major when we got married and he had already been working as an engineer. I just feel like life moved to quick we have 2 wonderful boys age 5 and 6.
A year ago we moved to a different state for my husbands job. I mentioned how I had felt lonely when the kids where at daycare (I work remote part time) and we both thought it was good that I join the local run club.
So this is kind of where things went south, I take full accountability for it. I was emotionally cheating with a guy I met there and it got physically, we had sexual encounters a total of 7 times. Long story short one day I got caught in bed with him and my husband and I really went through a rough patch. We went through therapy and after 6 months I honestly felt like we are in a much better place.
It’s just he makes these weird comments…so the guy I was with is well endowed and happens to be African American, my husband is white and I would say is of average size. He says weird stuff during sex like” do you like this bbc?” Or should” I put Nutella on my di-k I know you like that” I always loved him and never cared of his size and just yesterday he brought a black strap on penis and tried to penetrate me. I screamed at him to stop and I went to my friends house crying.
I know I messed up 6 months ago but I feel like I am living a nightmare just when I thought we were getting better.
Tl;dr: cheated on husband, he is spiraling after seemingly doing well

A questão é: eu sou um cara extremamente conservador em relação a drogas, tabagismo e até mesmo álcool, me converti recentemente à fé cristã após ser agnóstico por 2/3 anos
Nunca fui de ser daqueles adolescentes que curte farra até tarde em bares, e sair bebendo nem nada do tipo. E descobri também
Imediatamente pensei: mano, esses caras não são flor que se cheire.
O problema é, eles 3 são meus ÚNICOS amigos da faculdade e foram próximos a mim desde o ano passado
Além disso, eles (e Rick) são próximos do meu vizinho que me leva de carona pra faculdade todo dia
Sinto vontade de deixar eles por causa dessa má influência mas ao mesmo tempo sinto uma culpa por meio que me sentir que estou julgando um livro pela capa...? Eu não sei... estou sendo babaca?
